[00:01:03] heyyy hey friends my name is Aaron Ciotti everybody calls me Ciotti welcome to the show we are We've Got mailbag Tonight bunch of stuff bunch of really cool
[00:02:37] stuff Q&A as all these live streams are we're going to be talking about the Newbie drone light frame brand new and other stuff will pop up I'm sure I'm feeling better
[00:03:00] but I'm just I'm just exhausted I'm just completely exhausted this has been a really really insane couple of weeks here and I'm trying my absolute
[00:03:17] best but I'm just I'm like way way way beyond my limit but sometimes life push you beyond your limit and not a whole lot you can do right I can't just go jump off of a
[00:03:39] rooftop so here we are so I'm going to try my best but fair warning man I I'm in it right now emotionally mentally physically I i' I've I'm
[00:04:01] so at the moment I'm going through my bag of 1.6 in 1 mm motor shaft propellers here to grab a replacement prop for the WalkSnail 75mm whoop with the VCI 0803
[00:04:29] Motors because at Rampage it threw one of the i' I'd flown a bunch of batteries with it here let's let me let me put one on so we should be able to see the we're going to start going
[00:04:55] through the the the Rampage footage little by little over the next bunch of live streams and kind of talking about it and sort of dissecting it this is more than likely when it happened let's just see
[00:05:13] is there a so it's right rear is it you can see it right you can see it struggling so crash right rear prop falls off see it see the left front's picking up and the right rear staying
[00:05:24] down all right so this battery is definitely the the 75 mil WalkSnail rig on the on the the VCI 82.6 27,000 KV Motors th this is actually one of the issues with with the the 1 mm motor
[00:05:50] shafts why that happened really early in the battery I think I'd been flying it what the hell I think I'd been flying it flying a couple batteries in a row on it so here's the previous
[00:06:04] battery this should be it why is it a why is what there's a lot of duct in view though is there a crash where we get less duct in view that's interesting pretty sure this is this is still it
[00:06:24] 99% sure this is the same rig I I'll I'll be able to tell once I start flying it around so the the the 1 mm propellers don't have as much bite as as the 1 and a half millim
[00:06:43] motor shafts and so you lose propellers a lot more often this is something that rugie ran into with the toothpicks a long time ago and he started doing the going up from one and a half to 2
[00:07:02] millimeter actually motor shafts and he he's got like a he made like a little kit where you could drill them out for yourself which was super cool but so
[00:07:16] this is the best flying 1S 75mm WalkSnail carrying freestyle tiny whoop that I've been been able to put together together I actually had a couple of really really great conversations with gruss from
[00:07:38] RoR Riot Russ from roor Riot his screen name is Russ G us about this I didn't realize it but he's he was sort of the brain behind the Vision 40 and he's actually tried a lot of
[00:07:54] different Motors that don't really exist like prototypes of Motors because works with works with sl4 rotor Riot so he has different access than I do hopefully it's okay for me to
[00:08:08] mention this but I'm just going to do it anyway hey had t-motor make him some 102s in 24,000 KV 26,000 KV 22,000 KV and the problem that he kept running into was the runtime it
[00:08:28] would it same kind of issue with this rig that you're watching me fly right now a minute and 50 seconds runtime he was talking even less than that he was talking like with with some of the
[00:08:39] voters he was getting like a minute and 30 second it's really really difficult carrying around WalkSnail with 1 s I just don't know on on a on a ducted rig right like
[00:09:00] there's there's toothpicks that can do it all right so there is where I lost the uptil there's where I also lost the propeller so I don't know I don't know I also had
[00:09:20] a conversation with Mike from GemFan who's also working with VCI and he knows he knows hey would like these motors to be more efficient in the future so I don't know
[00:09:37] what what I was shocked by and pretty happy with is that none of the motor shafts bent I didn't put too many batteries through this but there were some pretty hard
[00:09:51] hits but you have to hit them perfectly wrong to Really bend them sometimes so I don't know it's super interesting what what I was what I did talk to Russ about is
[00:10:07] he's been as shocked as I've been with how durable this setup has kind of bit especially in terms of the long screws going down through the double stack rori has sold a whole
[00:10:26] bunch of the vision 40s and he's flown them a bunch and he pretty much has I'm not going to say any but like a shockingly low number of problems have had I'm saying all the
[00:10:42] wrong words but you guys know what I'm attempting to say it's not breaking it's not breaking here that I was I was sure that this was going to be super fragile because of these big long screws
[00:10:53] and because of the the the double stack setup and whatnot but that is not seeming to be a problem so that gives me hope for the 2S setup and
[00:11:11] I I think that's where we're going I I I we've worked so hard to try to figure this out with 1S and get half decent runtime I just I don't know where else to go man like like maybe we can make these
[00:11:28] 083s a little bit more efficient maybe a I don't know I I I think I think 1S and this this this kind of makes sense right like 1S analog done nice and simple right like just
[00:11:49] cool building a 1S rig better be analog and then for HD it's 2S 3 S4 and sky's the limit right as much as as I'm tempted to just keep going and going and going and and
[00:12:08] and keep bitching and moaning about Tony Morgan with a $20 Super Chat dude thank you so much that is incredibly generous ax 23051 1950 KV fund very very cool of you my friend
[00:12:22] I actually ordered the motors already so they're on the way I I just assume that you guys would hook a brother up and fill this fund up so that's very cool of you man I I really do appreciate
[00:12:34] it's means a ton it's hard to do this this is the most financially Reckless thing I've ever done but I I I think that I know that I'm meant to do this and doing something crazy like
[00:12:53] this takes sacrifice and it takes time and it takes patience and I'm in it man like I I I tried the the the corporate thing for many many many many years and it did not go well and
[00:13:08] it almost went really not well and so this is it man like I I'll I'll I'll do what it takes to keep going with this and all of you guys that support me on
[00:13:22] patreon all you guys that support me mentally all of you that hang out in the chat all you that that watch these after the fact you're you're what's made this kind of possible and it's it's
[00:13:36] Super Rad and I'm a very lucky guy but it's hard it's really really difficult to do this but I'm going to keep going godamn it because there there's something
[00:13:49] here and enough of you have have have put Faith and confidence in me that I owe it to everybody to ride this [@$#%] into the sunset so thank you dude very very cool
[00:14:06] cfp.net Treon helps me out the most there's an Etsy store with some fun stuff you can buy Fiverr page you can work one on one with me I'll help you fly better build better tune better take
[00:14:18] advantage of somebody that's been in this world for eight years that has organized all of his thoughts to drop that on you I put all of the info here on the live streams
[00:14:28] there's thousands of hours of these live streams if you don't want to spend the time digging through all these live streams for all of the information I can deliver it all to you in a half an
[00:14:40] hour straight or an hour straight format over on Fiverr there's a Teespring store with some really fun shirts and apparel and whatnot and there's a whole bunch of affiliate links if you're
[00:14:50] doing an order on the internet at this point you should be using someone is someone's affiliate link it helps them make more cool stuff for you to watch here on YouTube for free free
[00:15:00] it's a little bit of a circle there so replace your bookmarks with affiliate links replace your URL suggestions when you just start typing stuff in to the to the URL bar of your
[00:15:13] browser of choice there's a million ways that you can use affiliate links without even having to remember or think about it so it's very cool of you it's free money guys like it doesn't
[00:15:24] affect you in any way you can still use coupon codes and do all the things it's just a shout out to those of us that have gotten set up on those programs there's nothing bad about it
[00:15:33] I'm so [@$#%] tired of this like anti- affiliate link [@$#%] like yes people can be shitty with affiliate links but it's people being shitty has nothing to do with the affiliate links
[00:15:47] if you if if someone's being a shitty don't support them don't use their affiliate links don't like demonize affiliate links there's nothing wrong with affiliate links there's people
[00:15:58] that are idiots right like be angry at those people not at affiliate links the affiliate link setup is a wonderful thing that allows a lot of us to do this right so next time you see
[00:16:12] somebody like demonizing affiliate links call him an idiot tell him Ciotti say you tell him Ciotti said to call him an idiot it's just it's just silly so this guys is back up
[00:16:31] I don't know how much more I'm going to fly this the the the runtime thing I mean here let's we can like specifically look at the at the runtime of this thing that that last
[00:16:46] battery was that last battery was cut short but so we took off at and this is me flying chill right so we took off at 3 seconds there's probably a crash in here oh wait no we'll have oh no we
[00:17:04] won't have postflight stats I mean this says 3 minutes and 15 there's no way that I got three minutes though oh what maybe I did maybe I did this is me running okay so
[00:17:19] the this is actually a really good reminder so this is me running a 550mah battery actually okay so here we go here we go no no no here here's a crack though this is actually interesting I I
[00:17:31] I I've been I've wanted to figure this out how much more run time do we get from a 550 rather than a 450 all right so there's a crash 127 call it
[00:17:43] 125 and then we're farting around farting around farting around we are using a little bit of battery here to tur mot back over 125 we're up to 140 am I ever going to flip it back over
[00:17:55] 125 oh I went and got it Jesus okay so we just need to do the math hold on 125 okay so perfect 205 uh 125 so then what 12 is that oh there's 60 seconds in a minute
[00:18:18] not 30 seconds right 25 to 35 45 55 105 so that's 40 seconds all right so we lost 40 seconds to that crash so all right we're flying we're flying we're
[00:18:33] flying I don't think there's another crash in here yep there's another crash but we just bounced off so that's fine all right and there's the landing so 305 we got to remove 40 seconds from
[00:18:50] that so that brings us to two 2 225 and then we took off like basically 5 seconds in so 2 minutes and 20 2 minutes and 20 second runtime on a 550 MH battery but here's the problem is
[00:19:17] that the 550 MH batteries are fat do I really not have one all right hold on so the 550s here's a 450 the 450s from Tiny whoop are 12.5 gr the 550s are it's not that bad 14
[00:19:50] grams but what I what what I really want to check is the 2S batteries tiny whoop has a 2S 300 MH that I've got here so instead of 14 gram that is 15 gram and a 1 gram difference
[00:20:10] for a huge advantage of 2S it's just it's not enough we we' previously talked about this but I'd never actually put these on the scale to kind of figure that out I'm actually really
[00:20:24] surprised that these that these 450s are as heavy as they are I thought they were a little bit lighter than that so 1 s is for a cop if you want the lightest weight
[00:20:50] possible very fun to fly admittedly tiny whoop C whoop you can do 1 s you're going to get terrible runtime minute and 50 2 minutes 2 minutes and 10 2 minutes and
[00:21:06] 20 but but it's I think I'm done I I I think I'm done with the the 1S thing on these guys I I I I have two of them right now because I if if you really want to do proper testing AB
[00:21:30] testing you have to double it up one of these is getting pulled apart for absolute certain I'm not sure which one but it's just silly to have two of these that are indoor C whoops it's
[00:21:44] it's just doesn't it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense so I'm going to pull one of these apart and it's going to go back into a 65mm frame
[00:21:59] in order for the like if I'm going to get a minute and 50c run times I would rather get it on a 65mm build and when I had the 65 actually pull it apart right now
[00:22:13] which which one do I pull apart is the question the 102s the the run time is much better I'm not going to pull it apart right now I got to figure out which one to pull apart the the one with the VC or
[00:22:35] the I'll actually end up pulling apart it'll be a color decision that I make but whatever so that's the deal the 1S WalkSnail freestyle testing I've gone as far as I possibly
[00:22:53] can 75 on the on the 75mm end of the things the 450mah batteries are going to give you like a minute and 50c run time depending on what motors maybe a little
[00:23:05] bit more than that but roughly like 2 minutes of runtime the 550mah batteries you can get to like 2 minutes 20 2 minutes and 30ish but 1S WalkSnail 75 doesn't have enough power
[00:23:24] I don't know if it ever will I I I the the there's just there are limits right there are like physical or whatever there's just there are limits and I and I I think we are at
[00:23:39] the limit why does that camera look so bad why is it so dark in here why is this so dark why are you Logitech can you get it together I mean is there
[00:23:59] those of you that have been following along what did I miss I didn't miss anything is there I didn't miss anything if I miss something let me know but I it's been like months man
[00:24:12] it's been like four or five months that we've been trying to figure this out and in talking to grus he spent a ton of time and effort too and so if the two of us can't figure it out
[00:24:30] it just kind of is what it is and that's okay there's I don't know I can't fix this this this is just going to be dark down here it's fine in the chat rocket Tech was first Kevin
[00:24:47] summmer was next hockey rounds Kila zebra tongue out FPV James Thomas Rock carler Douglas Atwell kilo zebra FV toast Kevin James Frank Nicholas Tony Morgan sleepy CBR David forf Denzel the
[00:25:01] terrible Tom Johnson BL Anonymous I'm going to leave it there because we got a million things to do those that have joined I I I got somewhat so last night in the middle
[00:25:17] of the night when I as always couldn't sleep I I I I the the the the Corona virus released its hold on my brain to some extent and I was actually I I became somewhat able to
[00:25:38] function and I started to get this this place cleaned up a little bit like after Rampage I just dropped all my [@$#%] every everywhere because I was just like immediately sick and it's just been
[00:25:53] a nightmare in here and so I was able to kind of get it a little bit cleaned up I forget why I'm telling you this but I don't know where I was going with that obviously it is not completely
[00:26:14] released it's hold on my brain but I I I I am I am feeling better it's the it's still in my chest I'm still coughing all over the place and I'm definitely and I'm
[00:26:26] just my brain is somewhat working again but I'm just completely mentally and emotionally and physically exhausted I'm trying to sleep as much as I can but that's hard for me as it always
[00:26:40] is but I feel way better than I did I'm still by no means back on my feet and I've a ways to go still but whatever it's better than it was yesterday so
[00:27:01] all right Jesus patrons patrons patrons oh oh that where I was going with this is that after I physically cleaned the basement up I'd I'd gotten my email had gotten
[00:27:19] up over a 100 un RADS which just makes me want to absolutely stab myself in the eye with a fork so I was able to get my email somewhat under control I apologize for those of you
[00:27:33] that have joined patreon that haven't you're got that haven't gotten your well-deserved shout out but here A bunch of them come I'm probably gonna mispronounce this
[00:27:45] I apologize Rick but Rick cannady or canedy welcome to the gangly gang thank you for joining super generous new Patron there's an Etsy order that needs to ship there's going to be a
[00:27:58] bunch of stuff that ships like to tonight tomorrow the next day Kenny young welcome to the gangly gang Nick Z I'm not going to Massacre that last name on you brother welcome to the
[00:28:12] gang Michael Grover welcome to the gangest of all the gangs and Danny Rhymer welcome thank you guys so much for joining the patreon I think there's maybe one or two more Adam
[00:28:23] Saunders welcome to the gangly gang thank you for helping me out brother I want to say there's one more nope that's all I'm caught up on patreon thank you guys so much
[00:28:36] you can choose to set yourself up on recurring or not recurring I've had a couple people that didn't even realize that they didn't set their patreon up as recurring and they didn't
[00:28:52] even realize that they hadn't been in there for a while so check that if you want to be a recurring Patron it never used to be it used to only be recurring but now there's
[00:29:03] some kind of an option so check that if you want to be a recurring Patron jump over there and make sure you have that box checked or whatever because otherwise at the end of the
[00:29:13] month it's just going to stop charging you and you're going to come off and you're not going to get the emails you're not going to get access you're Pro it's probably going to remove
[00:29:20] the Discord access and whatnot but thank you guys so much it's super awesome that you guys have made this thing possible that we've done together it's been a blast and let's
[00:29:31] keep going there's lots more testing to be done there's lots more little rigs that can be optimized to fly better and for all of us to have more fun and have a cool little Community
[00:29:44] together if you want to talk directly to me in the chat all you got to do is type CiottiFPV if you do that it'll light up an orange for me you can do that with each other type somebody else's name
[00:29:52] spell it right put the spaces in the right places and for that person their own name will light up an orange kilo zebra tagged me and said going to be fun seeing some fresh packs today glad
[00:29:59] to see how I is feeling up to Flying I don't know how I'm going to fly I I I I can I I can this I remember so this is only the second time that I've had Co thankfully as I talk to more and more people
[00:30:15] like I I feel like I'm in the minority I feel like so many people have had it like three and four and five times which is just insane this is only the second time I've had it's was just
[00:30:26] as bad as the first time I had it's was it's been really really really nasty and the effect that it's had on my brain has just been unbelievable it is so obviously a a
[00:30:39] neuro it just [@$#%] you up man and so I'll actually be super interested to see how badly I fly tonight but I've got the new the new tiny whoop Gates set up in the living room which
[00:30:55] Jesse from Tiny whoop was kind enough to send and we've got some other really cool stuff and it's time to get back to Flying so we're going to do it but no promises it might be a
[00:31:08] crashfest almost always is a crashfest but it might be a worse crashfest than normal tonight sleepy CBR says what's up Denzel the turbo says good to see you James Thomas says so is the
[00:31:21] dust settled on the 75mm motor testing is the 1102 the winner James Thomas I I I I great time to ask that question so we we kind of already talked about that but
[00:31:35] great point the here it is analog 75 MIM 1S all day jungle gy Basher amazing such a so much fun to fly that rig you don't really need more than 802s 802 25 or 27 000 KV you might as well get 27,000
[00:32:00] KV if it's too much you can motor limit's down don't get 25 tiny whoop.com has the motor for you it's the igal limited edition 0802 27,000 1 half MIM motor shaft the end
[00:32:15] there is no other motor that's as light that makes the right amount of power it's just it's the it's the one it's the right motor it's not too big it's not too
[00:32:29] small it's this happened to us in the 5-in world many years ago where we realized that 227s and 236s are just big enough not too small they stay cool the the 2207 makes a little bit more
[00:32:46] power but it gets a little hotter 2306 stays cooler makes a little bit less power a little bit lighter in the tiny whoop world and just with these motors being so small we're
[00:32:56] probably not going to have that we're probably not going to have two motor sizes we're just going to end up with one motor size this is the goal the the goal with every single size propeller
[00:33:06] every single all up weight is to find the smallest possible motor so that it's as light as possible the motors are all the way out on the ends of the arms and that's the worst possible place for
[00:33:17] weight so reducing the weight of a motor is a big deal and so the goal is always to find the smallest lightest motor that gives just enough power stays just cool enough there is a ton of
[00:33:30] optimization that that's required to get to that point but when you get to that point it really does make a difference it's a big deal to get there and
[00:33:43] so for analog pretty lightweight 75mm rigs were there 802 27,000 KV you want the GemFan 1610 by blades they're just they demolish all the other 75 1.6 in props so that's it
[00:34:04] good to go the the 102 is a great motor but nobody makes it a high enough KV the fact that we can get these 802s in 27,000 KV is one of the big reasons that it's the right
[00:34:19] motor for that setup if somebody was to make a 102 in 28,000 29,000 KV that would be a contender but it's a it's a heavy motor 80 0802 to 102 that's a big jump right 8 to 10 think of the
[00:34:38] percentage jump there it's a big percentage jump 25% is maybe whatever so analog 75 we've got our motor done once you add walk stale into the mix 1 s is not enough 1 s won't get the
[00:34:57] job done by going to 2S we're going to get a massive increase in efficiency and we're going to have a ton more motor options because of the higher voltage and the batteries are now light enough
[00:35:13] where we're not adding more than like a gram or two so for WalkSnail 75 freestyle it's 2S if you want to play the 1S game to me it's not really a freestyle rig it's more of a cine whoop
[00:35:32] that's still very fun to fly not everybody needs a ton of power not everybody's brand of freestyle is Matty flips and power loops and Dives and all the crazy [@$#%] that you
[00:35:42] see me doing if you're going to go down the road and you want a WalkSnail 75mm rig because I think that's what you're asking James the BetaFPV 1102 2200s out of the box when they're brand
[00:35:57] new are the best option for power for runtime for everything the problem with these motors is durability as soon as you start crashing them they fall to pieces whatever the material that beta
[00:36:12] FPV used for the motor shafts it's a very soft metal and so if your brand of flying involves crashing I cannot recommend these motors I have run BetaFPV 1102 motor motors
[00:36:28] for over 3 years they were the original Motors that I used on the tiny lifters and eventually I moved away from them for this exact same reason they came out with a new version and they changed the
[00:36:42] way that they look and they changed the Bell design last year I guess and I hoped that they also changed the material that they made the motor shafts out of and or figured out whatever
[00:36:54] reason was causing them to be so fragile but they have after a couple of crashes these motors started W started causing all kinds of jello and so cannot recommend unfortunately the the BetaFPV
[00:37:09] 1102 2200s unless you're not going to crash you're going to crash even if you don't crash you're going to crash and the motors are going to get banged up they're not that expensive I mean you
[00:37:19] can just replace them every couple of crashes because that's pretty much all it takes to bend them up but realistically the best Motors that I've found that are actually durable and
[00:37:33] give you half decent performance are going to be the RC and Power 102 22000 Andor the VCI 82.6 27,000 I've tested the RC and Powers quite a bit they have 1 and a half MIM
[00:37:54] motor shafts they're the safe betat it's a great motor it just doesn't have nearly enough power for me but the runtime is pretty good on those too you're going to get significant more run time these VCI
[00:38:07] Motors almost have enough power almost so close 1 mm motor shafts they're probably going to bend I'm shocked that I haven't bent them yet I'll keep this rig together this is
[00:38:22] the rig that I'm going to keep together this is the one that I'm going to take apart because these motors are unknown quantity so I'll pull this one apart because I know that these motors
[00:38:35] are good these RC in Power 102 22000 I think these are the ones if you want a 75mm WalkSnail tiny whoop I think these are the motors to go with these VCI Motors are super interesting but
[00:38:48] they the the run time is significantly less 20 to 30 seconds less runtime which when we're talking about 2 minutes of runtime that's not a lot Eric thank you so much for the super chat my man
[00:38:58] I'm going to read your comment in a minute I am curious about the the strength of the motor shafts here I know that these that these RC and power motors are strong enough I know that they're a
[00:39:08] recommendation they are top of the list for me these V so they don't have anything to prove so I'm good I don't need to test this anymore that's why I'm going to pull this apart matter of fact
[00:39:17] I'm going to start pulling it apart right now I hate to do this cuz cuz this this rig actually flies really decent but I just know that these which one of these do I pull
[00:39:45] apart I would rather leave this one together no well no this one's getting pulled apart the the the the rig with the VC should be left together because fly it crash it see when
[00:40:11] those motor shafts die if the motors if if these motors hold up I'm going to have to revisit this whole 1 and A2 versus 1 mm motor shaft thing some people people have said
[00:40:28] that the HappyModel motor shafts are just weak I've not found that to be true I've run lots of Motors I've bent lots of 1 mm motor shafts but enough people have kind of said that where I'm like
[00:40:43] well so I'm going to run those VCI Motors this this is a heavy rig so if I'm going to bend motor shafts it what I mean like this this is the one that it's going to kind of happen on
[00:41:00] so we'll see this is getting pulled apart if you weren't here earlier and getting dropped into a 65mm frame which I'm going to do like right now like you're you're going to watch me
[00:41:11] do that and you're going to absolutely love which frame I put it in which is another part of the reason that I'm doing it right now you'll see in a minute so great
[00:41:25] question James I sure wish that the BetaFPV 1102s were more durable because they make I I I think they make basically as much power as these VC but they have better runtime
[00:41:48] but they're just not durable and I I'm not I didn't even like I swear to God I flew like less Le than 10 batteries and I didn't crash it hard like I didn't have any like
[00:42:01] massive massive like oh that was a humongous hit of course these motors are all bent up and it was the same thing with the tiny lifters back in the day when I was doing those like I didn't
[00:42:12] have any big crashes where it was like these motors deserve to die like I have a really good feel for that right like I crash a lot and I can usually really tell like if a crash is is if if
[00:42:23] I'm asking for too much and if the crash was just too hard or if it should have been able to take the the hit and kind of keep going so
[00:42:39] there's a hint here this is the frame that I'm putting the walks now R back into there's a hint who can guess what motors are in here if you're paying attention you'll
[00:42:49] be able to tell from me just holding it up like this what do we put the what do we put in the arrow in the back right right arrow in the back think there's more space to put the
[00:43:02] battery to put the plug through that's the deal look at that man just we've got a WalkSnail 65 mil freestyle build again I feel like there was another
[00:43:19] frame that I wanted to put this AO VTX camera canopy onto I feel like I'm putting this together right now and then I'm going to be taking it back
[00:43:37] apart but I'm actually really excited to be putting this together because I didn't try this combo I've I've tried I've tried another similar set of motors with this with with walks
[00:43:52] snail on a 65 but I haven't actually tried these exact Motors here you guys figur it out yet I'm not scrolled down in chat so if you guys have already guessed it I haven't seen but I'll bet somebody's
[00:44:07] already figured it out it's not like a new set of Motors I've had them for a while but this is me trying to throw you off the scent so there we go we have the ultimate 65mm WalkSnail there another
[00:44:29] hint for you look at it's all clear I should have had this put together at Rampage I almost did this but I I I really wanted to test test these two things with 75s a little bit
[00:44:41] more at Rampage and then I I ended up not really I didn't fly the the RC and power rig kind of because I I I've I've flown the RC and power rig a bunch and I I just didn't find it necessary to
[00:44:54] go demolishing it cool so hold on let me keep getting caught up on chat parkour guy says fun of the catching Al again good to have you back my dad's in the chat
[00:45:07] what's up Dad P Scott's here as well what's up brother Kevin sumer's here as well what's up everybody thanks for coming hopefully you're all still here that was almost an hour ago 40 minutes ago
[00:45:19] Striker saysDenzel the terrible says drop the YouTube link in general nonsense before you mute your mic cranking volume took it for 30 seconds I see him in there I see Clan
[00:45:31] man in there thank you dude Cloud Hopper says is there hope for a 2g4 AO that starts having trouble arm arming two Motors often won't spin up until I try arming two or three times nah man
[00:45:45] that's fats dying hurry up and buy another one from get FPV before they're gone the the the get FPV last I checked still has the 2g4 in stock Christ buy two of the damn things
[00:45:58] no especially if that started happening after a crash I mean look the the the long and short of it is like if you've got a rig that's working and you slam it really hard or
[00:46:17] it just starts not working and you haven't been in BetaFlight or blue J or BL heli [@$#%] around with stuff it's on its way out and so just keep keep running
[00:46:32] it until the cows come home and well the cows won't come home but it'll just stop working all together but I mean if it's always tempting to like try to adjust thec settings and do all this
[00:46:45] [@$#%] but like all you're doing is buying yourself a little bit of extra time and you're you're crippling the performance of the damn thing what I mean which is it's so it's
[00:46:56] tough Denzel Denzel says dear Lord see I feel like [@$#%] but the hair hair is on point I haven't showered in days so I don't know it's probably just all oily and horrifying I ran out of time I I wanted a shower
[00:47:15] before the stream tonight but Striker says I'm about to get an medeor 65 Pro from rdq since I'm in Orlando because the QC issues on the M 624 super excited whooping
[00:47:30] nice the I'm not a fan of the meteor 65 Pro frame or propellers but you're getting a perfectly good AO camera canopy right all the other stuff so you can take that rig and
[00:47:47] it's fine the way it is but compared to some of these other ones there's a little bit of performance to be gained from going with a lighter frame lighter propellers some other stuff but
[00:47:57] you've got a good platform there and then down the road that AO that you're going to get on that rig is the AIO that I use on all these WalkSnail setups so nothing wrong with
[00:48:11] that rig whatsoever you got a bunch of really good parts coming to you that you can move around and customize and build something that's perfect for you Kevin Su with the putting the C
[00:48:22] fv.com Link in the chat thank you dude rocket Tech says I I I appre I appreciate that you feel like you owe us something that but you you owe you to ride this for all it's
[00:48:37] worth thank you dude Kevin James says you're awesome thank you man YouTube did the thing scrolling back up Tony Morgan thanks you thank you again for the Super Chat Terry
[00:48:55] Bernette thank you again for oh wait no I didn't even get to that one yet Terry Bernett with the $20 Super Chat he says for motor or meds it'll go to Motors [@$#%] meds thank you so much dude 20 goes to 40
[00:49:10] if you guys want to fill this up you got to call it out you got to specifically call it out in your super chat this way you guys can Super Chat whever you want like just a regular Super
[00:49:20] Chat is going to go to this life if you want to fill this up you gotta specifically call it out that's how it works I don't know why it works that way that's how it works Kevin James says
[00:49:32] you're awesome thank you dude wait no I already did that one strer says haven't ordered yet thanks for reminding me about those affiliate links you deserve it bro you've open so much
[00:49:39] thank you dude Curtis Hayes says madex mentioned you this week was positive about you having your Niche on YouTube I was actually in the chat I I was in last night
[00:49:51] yesterday actually for whatever reason I caught one of mad's live streams live and Ian is just the best man just what a what I I I didn't realize that he curses so much in
[00:50:08] the live chats it made me feel really good actually it was really a I I got to catch more of his live streams he it was a blast watching him last night that was super fun and
[00:50:20] and I had a couple of comments that that he seemed to get a kick out of so that was great it's I I think it's going to be my Sunday ritual after my streams is is are going to be to kick his on
[00:50:36] because that was a that was a blast I I I watched a lot of his stuff after the fact but for whatever reason after my stream on Sunday I I got a lot going on and it's still like
[00:50:48] the middle of the day and whatnot so I just apparently haven't caught any of his live streams not any but not many cmk saysjust Mo says sorry you're sick hope you will get soon both times I got Co I
[00:51:05] didn't even know I've heard that too I've heard people like I got it was I was sick for about a day and then I was fine I'm it's not been my experience Eric Hager with a $2 Super
[00:51:13] Chat he says is less than 65mm wheelbase on 31mm props stupid not at all no I mean the the the more you can pull the motors in the the less motor to motor distance the better
[00:51:37] and but it's tough to clear the it's tough to clear everything that we have to clear but the closer you can pull the motors in and the bigger of a propeller
[00:51:48] you can run is is a good thing so not stupid at all Eric just difficult just just like not many people are able to do that not like there's certainly no plastic frames available that that
[00:52:00] really do that that I've really seen but I mean that that would potentially be the next level of optimization that we can find with 65mm tiny whoops right if if we can get this down to now
[00:52:20] that the the aios are starting to shrink all we need is a frame that that pulls the motors in and we can we can save weight and we can save we can pull the motors in more
[00:52:35] centralized so I wouldn't be surprised if down the road here we start to see somebody do that it'll probably be BetaFPV right like BetaFPV have been the ones that have been playing around with
[00:52:49] they've been doing it the other way they've been increasing propeller size and keeping the motoro motor distance the same which to me is is the wrong way of doing it because doing it that
[00:53:07] way you have to convince a propeller manufacturer to make a whole new prop size and you're not going to convince everybody to do that and then all of the propellers that already exist are you
[00:53:21] can't really use right I mean you technically use them but you wouldn't the move is to do do it the other way pull leave the propeller sizes alone and pull the motors in so that that's
[00:53:34] actually a really good thought Eric I I hadn't I hadn't really been thinking about that but I I I would love that I would absolutely love if the next thing that BetaFPV does in terms of
[00:53:50] changing the the frames around a little bit would be like a 60 mm tiny whoop on these same 1.2 in props right like we now have some phenomenal 1.2 in propellers and we've figured out the
[00:54:06] exact Motors to drive these weight of propellers and so let's optimize something else what I mean like they've shrunken down the the the AO where we've now
[00:54:20] got I'm showing you on a WalkSnail rig no reason for that I mean this is a th this apologies for what a stuttery bastard I am tonight this is what happens when my brain is just not really
[00:54:37] there and this is what happens when I'm just kind of an emotional mess if if I'm really honest but like look at the Gap here at the end of my middle finger right like look at all this space like
[00:54:52] somebody could easily and this isn't even the BetaFPV one this is the this is the HappyModel 2024 right the I don't have any frames that have
[00:55:08] the the BetaFPV cross you can kind of see it in here it's hard to see because the VTX is on top but you see there see how much cut in but see here here's the here's the problem right here
[00:55:20] right at the end of my middle finger again I'm wiggling it that you can't really shrink this much but I mean I mean it's kind of a bummer HappyModel this is a new
[00:55:32] frame from HappyModel happy model made a brand new frame for the 2024 and then they they designed this AIO this is a huge missed opportunity they could have I mean not maybe not
[00:55:44] easily but this was their chance they could have made this a 60 mm or maybe even a 55mm motor Tom motor frame and then this Frame would have been even lighter weight the mo the weight of the
[00:55:57] motors would have been pulled in more Central so that would have been that could have been a big deal they I mean the damn thing if fly is great like don't get me wrong it it
[00:56:11] flies fantastic best flying BNF tiny whoop of all time but there was there was a little opportunity there that you can literally see like we can
[00:56:25] literally look through the corners of this damn thing and see where they could have pulled these ducts pulled pulled the ducts in maybe they didn't because they wanted the frame to
[00:56:36] work with other aios right when we start doing that [@$#%] we we it's makes the the the the the rest of the gear selection potentially more of a pain in the ass so on one hand it is nice that they
[00:56:58] designed us a really durable lighter frame that we can use on the 2g4 I still think I like the the Newbie drone cockroach frame better though but I don't know speaking of
[00:57:13] we've got a new newbie drone cockroach frame to check out tonight which we are going to you going to let me pick you up or has that ship sailed a visitor nope that ship is sailed I'm no
[00:57:30] longer allowed to pick the dog up oh well I tried I tried for you guys I know you guys like to say hi to Teddy who wouldn't so there's that I've made a huge
[00:57:52] mess all right Eric great question and thank you for the Super Chat my friend rocket Tech says with all your findings can we expect any updates on to the FPV no- atall recommendation site
[00:58:10] I don't really think that there have been significant enough changes if I'm completely honest I know that kind of sounds like a [@$#%] cop out but like look the well this doesn't exist anymore
[00:58:27] but there's nothing that we can really put here yet because the 2024 I'm still not willing to really recommend so there there's nothing to put here there there there there just
[00:58:39] isn't there's nothing to put here yet right the meteor 60 the meteor 65 Frame is still a perfectly good frame and it's still I think the most durable frame ever produced so I'm still totally
[00:58:54] fine having this here it's not that much heavier TRC Singularity we we've talked about that the antenna's great maybe don't do it which is fine the the everybody
[00:59:10] has the whip antenna so that's whatever BT 2.0 still totally valid I I would love to see this change to the 180 but there's nothing wrong with this batteries still totally valid props
[00:59:20] still totally valid 0702 30,000 still arguably the best motor for everybody right like what this is not Joshua's website is not like this is the most insane build ever this is what build can
[00:59:39] we put in front of a ton of people and everybody's going to love it's not going to have too much power it's not going to have too little power so I still think this is the right motor
[00:59:51] as much as I love the 36000 they're not for most people even the 32,000 are an awful lot so I'm still totally happy and what like this motor is still in stock a
[01:00:05] lot of times or maybe not oh wow that motor's gone no at flywoo really oh that shouldn't be there that's a mistake that's for the 75mm section hold on tell me he didn't oh he just changed the name of this
[01:00:32] motor why aren't any 72s coming up because they have letters connected to them hold on 72s oh my God what where's the hold on there's I think Jesse's site is just being weird okay no
[01:00:55] they still existed they're just not coming up under that heading 72 this is super interesting I'm so tempted but I'm done I'm done with the
[01:01:13] 1s testing this is I I can't imagine that this is going to be that much better than the VCI I'm not doing it I I really want to but I'm not testing this motor where are the the
[01:01:27] 702 30,000 is the question if they don't exist anymore then yes we absolutely need to update that where where are all the 72s what is happening okay
[01:01:56] so we need to have a real rethink here Jesse has removed a whole bunch of motors from from here okay all right I need to I need to find some time to link up with Joshua and we
[01:02:16] need to change some things I I don't know what we're going to change it to though okay that's annoying the 702 32000 are even gone where where where have all the motors
[01:02:35] gone what what what's what's happening here I mean I guess it's just 702 36,000 and then motor limit them down but I mean it looks like we don't have anything in between right now it it
[01:02:52] looks like we go from 702 27,000 all all the way up to 36 I mean I know that there's this RC in power 702 29,000 but I don't trust anyone other than HappyModel happy models 72s make more power
[01:03:06] and are more efficient than every single other 702 by a quite a bit so I don't know really what's happening here I need to send a message to Jesse right now about this
[01:03:25] cuz will not remember so hang one second just noticed the 70230 K and 32k aren't on the site anymore are they coming back okay cool I'll let you guys
[01:03:57] know so it's interesting I I I didn't realize so many of those things disappeared look right right now is not a good time for tiny whoops it's nothing's in stock and ah they
[01:04:13] are coming back amazing Okay cool so we're good awesome all right I was scared there for a minute massive shout out as always to Jesse who who else is going to get back to you
[01:04:30] like right now I really cannot believe this is this computer is freezing up again I thought that we had that figured out I don't know I don't get it okay back to chat
[01:04:44] back to chat back to chat my dad with a $10 Super Chat thank you so much Dad very cool very very cool Nathan L says what's your free St whoop choice these
[01:04:57] days I don't know Nathan I I I it's just nothing's in stock as as much as I want to say Mobula 6 2024 the reliability of them has been horrifying slow
[01:05:18] Cal has had five bad and one good out of the box so I at the moment I'm having a really hard time recommending the Mobula 6 2024 I mean look as long as you don't get it
[01:05:39] from and even if you get it from overseas you can just return it but what a pain in the ass the performance is wild but I don't know dude I do know get after
[01:05:55] FPV right now has the the 2g4 in stock and that's still it like Jesus Christ you just search for 2g4 so oh never mind I don't have an answer for you I don't have an answer for you I
[01:06:19] wish I did believe me I do there is stuff coming but today I I I I I I don't know I don't know it makes me really annoyed but it's a rough time for tiny whoopin everything's either
[01:06:38] sold out or in a weird like Flux Of is it durable is it not durable if if I was if I was going to build a brand new tiny whoop right now I would just chance it and get a Mobula 6 2024 and then if it goes
[01:07:04] bad within the first 10 batteries contact who I bought it from and say this blew up send me another one and usually they will so don't go bananas customizing them
[01:07:22] fly 50 batteries through it before you update before you upgrade it to make sure it's not going to just explode that's the that's the best I can do for you man I wish I had a better
[01:07:32] answer than that but Kevin Su says are those the 40,000 KV Motors I know you guys would figure it out like right away so 40,000 KV 0702 these are the prototypes but they're exactly the
[01:07:47] same he didn't change anything so WalkSnail 65 freestyle 0702 40,000 KV motor I don't know if I'm going to fly it tonight but it'll be back up in the air sooner than later
[01:08:00] James Thomas says if I go if I go ahead and bite off 2S for a 75mm what's your call on the combo there's a there's a I mean WalkSnail light of course and then there's a
[01:08:18] the only real decision is the aiio and BetaFPV has this F4 1S 12 amp V3 which does not have a USB port on it which is nice because the USB port has a tendency to get in the way of
[01:08:42] the battery in certain frames so this is the AIO to go with I think f41 s 12 amp V3 F4 yell s this is the one it's got they use a wacky jst plug that they put flat on the look how
[01:09:07] flat it is right and so they use this little jst plug here and then they give you a little they give you a little USB to jst thing which is admittedly annoying but it solves a legitimate problem
[01:09:26] and then BTE 3.0 and then you want the you want the tiny whoop.com 300mah BT 3.0 batteries to keep the weight down and they'll probably have plenty of runtime this build is coming soon
[01:09:49] maybe next week we can dive into this should be pretty straightforward rocket Tech says Red Rockets almost sleepy CBR with a 499 Super Chat he says towards the aax motors thank you
[01:10:06] homie cbcb man we [@$#%] miss you at Rampage it was not the same without the sleepiest of all the cbrs crawling around on the on the pipes just being awesome next year
[01:10:23] hopefully Scotty Scott says what's the best antenna to go on the bird what bird durability and range are priy it depends on what you're putting it on Scotty Scott tell me more tag me again
[01:10:37] tell me more SE will says flew one of my whoops yesterday everything was great today I went to fly it and no OSD it also won arm it didn't get wet or anything sat on my bench ever have that
[01:10:48] happen yep I don't know I've had it happen the other way where it won't work and I get so pissed off that I just put it down and walk away and I come back the next day and it comes back to life for
[01:11:02] absolutely no reason I've always just written it off as with how much vibration these things have all the time and how hard we smash them into things it's a miracle that
[01:11:16] they work at all so that's always where I try to keep my head at like oh my God these things work sometimes what an utter what an utter miracle if if that's where your head is at
[01:11:29] when they don't work it's like wow that I had that coming but it's maddening but luckily you're not alone luckily luckily we all have Stockholm syndrome together MCA says do why it
[01:11:47] is that in BetaFlight to turn the filters up you got to slide the slider to the left just curious I don't know why they chose to go that way it's does seem a little bit weird
[01:11:58] sometimes but it just go by the ends saying more and less filtering but I mean you that's a great question i' I have no idea Co power said it probably has to do with I do know
[01:12:12] why it's because it's because they did it from an engineering perspective of when you push the sliders in this way you're pushing the sliders towards the higher frequencies and when you pull the
[01:12:26] sliders down this way you're pulling the sliders down towards the lower frequencies the engineers understand that the engineers understand that the filter is is like this
[01:12:40] and it's Engineers doing engineering things if if a normie had designed those sliders they would have done it the opposite way around but Co power says 60 mm tiny whoop frame
[01:12:55] have a 3D printer get cracking oh man I wish I wish there was a way to 3D print anything frame related in in FPV and have it not be a goddamn nightmare ccbr says a 55mm whoop would be sick I agree
[01:13:07] I agree Kevin suer says did I just hear tedward you did he's gone though Striker says what motors would you recommend for about $10 No Such Thing for a65 5 mm 31 mm prop whoop oh oh oh
[01:13:28] oh $10 a motor all the tiny whoop Motors cost the same so you're you're not going to there there's there's nowh there's there's they're all the same my favorite tiny whoop motor ever is
[01:13:43] the 0802 32,000 KV which is sold out all at the moment all the good Motors are sold out so if you're looking to buy Motors now I don't know what to recommend all the all all the motors are
[01:13:55] sold out when they come back in stock 702 32,000 are my absolute favorites You could argue that you might as well go with the 36,000 and then you just motor limit them
[01:14:09] down wait a second no no no weebl's got motors for you Weeble has Motors in stock don't they I know they got the 40,000 in stock but oh boy they're they're way too much but I think they
[01:14:24] still have the 3 two fives in stock they do oh [@$#%] they have 70 of them in 70 so here you go these this is it get these get these for sure this is this is one of the best if not
[01:14:37] the best 702 of all time 32,000 is too much for most people but you can motor limit's down to like 80 or 70% and you'll have like a 27,000 26,000 28,000 I don't know what the
[01:14:51] actual math is but and that's the right number for most normal human beings but then if you fly in a bigger spot you can crank them up to 325 and you have a
[01:15:01] shitload of power beyond 32,000 32,500 it's just absurd so there you go Kevin sum says I think Jesse trimmed out some motor options recently no I I I I guess he I bet you he
[01:15:20] just set the web no he didn't cuz the I was going to say he set the website up to pull the to pull the item when it goes out of stock but that's not true because look
[01:15:33] this says sold out so does that but they'll be back they'll be back as he confirmed Kevin Su says maybe V3 Motors coming that'd be kind of cool doubt it
[01:15:47] though buron says there's that new newbie drone acrob 65mm hd0 kit's very expensive do you think it's worth it maybe it depends on if the AO is durable or not and I haven't heard anything so
[01:16:04] I have unfortunately no clue I've heard zero about that new newbie drone AO it's interesting though I I hope it's durable that would be amazing I don't know where it is
[01:16:29] maybe I can find it in here there it is so the the AIO in here there you can kind of see it does not have a VTX and I think it's a 12 amp you don't really need the 12 amp but
[01:16:55] ah here it is oh it's the HD version uh newb dran B bearing HD kind of expensive though 100 bucks is an awful lot of money for a tiny whoop AO but it's got Express lrs on it
[01:17:14] great big motor pads the other issue I have with it is that they use the specific plugs which drive me nuts but could be good I I have no idea I I I I'm not going to say anything
[01:17:32] because it I just haven't heard a single thing but I haven't heard anything bad but usually you hear bad stuff before good stuff so potentially that's a good sign I don't
[01:17:45] know Fusion Catalyst says I have the weeed gore Edition which is 28,500 those are pretty nice they're great 28,000 is a great KV it's like just it's 28,000 is where things start to get
[01:17:56] really interesting especially on a lightweight rig as evidenced by the 28,000 KB Motors on the Mobula 6 2024 that thing is light enough for those Motors are really really good Striker says kind of want
[01:18:10] Gore Edition 28,500 what are your thoughts just talked about that Nathan says I'll stick to the 3in and 5 in between the rain hopefully something presents in the near future
[01:18:25] sure Scotty Scott says antenna on 65 and 75mm rigs aha so my current favorite antenna is the ortt micro this performed fan [@$#%] tastic at rotor Riot Rampage in micro Mayhem which is
[01:18:47] about the most challenging environment ever so this antenna is awesome it's cheap seven bucks in the 50 millimeter version it's very very very lightweight so this is the one
[01:19:01] three of a gram this is it I need to actually buy a bunch more of these so this is this is my favorite antenna at the moment the the the other thing that you can do if you're
[01:19:14] just going to be flying around the house is you take your linear antennas I've shown this on the stream a couple of times and you pull the shrink wrap off of it there's going to be a big heavy
[01:19:24] silver thing you take the tip of your soldering iron you touch it in between the active element and the silver thing you'll see there's a little bit of solder there melt that solder and then
[01:19:32] you can pull the silver thing off and then you have a super lightweight infinitely durable antenna here this sucks in multi- pathing environments though so this is really only for around
[01:19:44] the house but it's free which is great so but the the regular the regular whip antennas the regular dipole antennas are actually really decent so there's nothing wrong with just
[01:20:00] sticking with a regular old antenna but this this micro will perform just as good as a regular linear antenna maybe a little bit better and it's significantly lighter so this is like
[01:20:14] the weight of this ultra light little one but it's the performance of the linear which is which is why this thing is really nice and then the the singularities are going to give you the
[01:20:26] best possible performance but they're kind of heavy and the the you would want to get the the longer Singularity here if you get the ultra short and you put it right next to the
[01:20:43] canopy like this so if you get the The Singularity Ultra short is nice and lightweight right you see plugs in there it's there so it's just long it's not super light but it it's
[01:20:57] light enough for a tiny whoop but then having the head of the antenna right next to the board like this is not great because these boards have a solid level layer of like copper in
[01:21:10] them and so as soon as you go and you OBS well it's actually not too bad on this one this antenna placement is not terrible because it's hanging out a little bit the the really
[01:21:23] bad antenna placement is is actually this here where you tuck it in the canopy and the antenna the head of the antenna is like right in there right on top of the board because if you're flying and
[01:21:39] you've got your goggles on your goggles have an antenna and that's the camera that I'm pointing at right it's fine right now because there's just plastic between the head of the antenna and you
[01:21:48] but as soon as you go now you've got a big layer of copper in between the head of the antenna and you you still have it you still have it you still have it you still have it you
[01:21:59] still have it now you've now you're okay because you can kind of see the antenna here where my index finger nail is that I'm wiggling but then it's bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad right
[01:22:11] like so having the head of the antenna right next to the AO is really bad for performance so what you want to think about is like how are you flying right this I used to chase the little RC drift
[01:22:24] cars so I'm standing up my antennas are 6' 2 in in the air and then I'm flying this thing down on the ground like an inch off the carpet and I'm just flying it around like this so
[01:22:40] 99% of the time there's just air between the head of the antenna and me which is totally fine this is not a freestyle rig this is a little drift car chasing rig if I
[01:22:51] throw this thing up in the air and I throw it up in the air in a way that the boards come between the head of the antenna and me the performance is going to be [@$#%] just in that Split Second but
[01:23:04] I don't throw this thing in the air much for a freestyle rig it becomes a problem these two are digital the the the signal strength of digital is so good that you can kind of get away with it
[01:23:20] the analog ones are where you really start to notice it here's another thing that I recently realized for that same reason I had these Ultra short antennas on a whole bunch of these Rigs
[01:23:33] and I go fly them upstairs and they the performance sucked because I'm up above myself right you got to you got to think of like where you fly and how you fly and that's how you pick an antenna or
[01:23:47] just get a bunch get one of every antenna it'll cost you like 50 bucks total and test them all out where you fly because there's a there there's the signal is bouncing around and
[01:24:01] and different there's different materials and there's so many variables but the antenna decision is a is a tough one but it's a cool challenge so there you go think
[01:24:19] about where you're going to be flying at freestyle versus upright all the time and just think about how often you're going to put the antenna behind the the pdb this at the
[01:24:34] moment for a 65mm rig this is this is my new love this ort antenna right out the back here it chills out right here it's super lightweight it works super well it's just a no-brainer so this
[01:24:50] is what I'm what I'm happiest with at the moment this is what I flew the most at micro Mayhem and this poor thing took a hell of a beating but it held up incredibly well as it always
[01:25:05] has I need to replace a propeller on it we need to dive I need to get caught up on chat so we can dive into the the the the subjects of this live stream which is a new frame from newbie
[01:25:21] Dron ster says broke a motor a week we ago took it as a fun opportunity to upgrade the way I crashed my [@$#%] I'm surprised it lasted that long it's been like two months Jake FPV says just
[01:25:33] got here what's the overall thoughts on the light AF I've been doing everything else and we haven't really talked about it quite yet but we're we're almost there Co power says it
[01:25:40] might be a nightmare but it could be a 60mm nightmare e says hold on YouTube just did the thing scrolling back up to try to find where the hell
[01:25:54] I was can't figure out where I was oh I scrolled up way too far W I'm almost caught up e says what's a good custom 75mm for outdoor flying or BNF e here's what you want to
[01:26:22] do never mind Mobula 7 1S and then swap the motors fly it as it is and then when they come back in stock swap the motors over to the oh man they're not even here
[01:26:41] anymore well I mean they will come back here they are these are the motors that you want soon as these come back in stock grab them but Mobula 71 1S elrs fly it as it is when these
[01:26:57] motors come in swap these motors on and put the 1610 by blades on there 1 and half millimeter shaft to match up with those Motors and as soon as you can switch it over to BT
[01:27:13] 2.0 get the get the 180° BT 2.0 do this as soon as you possibly can and then run the folded cell batteries everybody sells the folded cell batteries that's it you want the the 450mah BT 2.0
[01:27:34] batteries that's it that's exactly what I fly I call it the jungle gym Basher little too heavy for flying inside the house but it's a monster outside sleepy CBR is ordering up
[01:27:45] some cplor stuff using the not eval affiliate links awesome the there's a there's the V2 cpor make sure you get that one don't get the old school one the new one is awesome my dad's going to
[01:28:01] sleep yamur says what about the tiny whoop small or is it too fragile yep way too fragile you will literally break it on the first crash Stingray says soldered copper wire antenna fell off of
[01:28:15] AO what what do now replace it depending on which antenna it is is that fell off replace it with the correct thing if it's the elrs antenna that fell off replace it with a 2.4 gig
[01:28:34] length of wire if it's the video antenna that fell off replace it with a the appropriate length of wire for a video antenna you can figure that out with Google you could just type into Google
[01:28:54] like what's the right antenna length for 2.4 that's the lrs or what's the right antenna length for 5.8 that's video but to get you in the ballpark 2.4 is roughly you want an
[01:29:11] antenna that's roughly 32 mm believe it or not like you can just you can get it pretty close and it'll work totally fine and then for video I'm sure that you've got a linear
[01:29:26] whip antenna floating around just sacrifice one of them and just direct solder it on there's there's videos on how to do it you're good you can fix it if you if you found the
[01:29:41] the piece of wire just measure it or just solder it back on that'll work too Stephen Woodruff says what goggles and receiver do you use for analog at the moment I'm on the HD zero goggles
[01:29:56] with the rapid fire I still do love my HD 3s and I have to do some testing the the Rapid Fire doesn't seem to work as well on the HG zero goggles as it does on the h3s but I don't know I got
[01:30:11] to test that Scotty Scott says I keep destroying the regular antennas looking for durability the ort has been really durable so far Tokyo Dom's in the house what's up
[01:30:22] homie MCAS with the fire Super Chat he says does the new mobu 6 camera and mount fit in the old canopy nope well yes yes yes yes that's right no it does it does it does it does it does yep yep
[01:30:33] yep it does thank you for the Super Chat my friend all right we're good cool let's do the things we're going to weigh a bunch of frames here this is the brand new
[01:30:48] newbie drone light AF racing frame shout out to newb for sending these over very very cool of them they've been super generous over the years and so let's weigh some 65mm
[01:31:04] tiny whoop frames I actually have a bunch that I can weigh because I don't remember all the weights do I have a think I have like damn near one of every hold on did this on purpose so that I would
[01:31:34] have a whole bunch of these to weigh all at once because I knew that I would never remember all the weights HappyModel frame that breaks like immediately 3.25 gram this is the old
[01:31:49] school HappyModel frame it's way too fragile don't get it meteor 65 airframe also extremely fragile will not break immediately although something I've realized
[01:32:05] recently the meteor 65 airframe from BetaFPV if you use the BetaFPV 0702 Motors it's with triblade propellers it's nowhere near as fragile the BetaFPV 72s are taller and so with a
[01:32:22] triblade the propeller keeps these keeps the ducts from breaking in this spot super interesting I don't really like those Motors though those Motors don't make as much power as the happy
[01:32:35] model motor Motors and they're significantly less efficient but if you have a set of the BetaFPV 0 72s you can actually run this Frame and it and it's been pretty durable for me 2.64
[01:32:50] grams very very very lightweight but on HappyModel Motors it's fragile this is a frame you can't buy anymore this is the same thing old school newbie drone cockroach
[01:33:13] frame in the heavier in the heavier plastic 5.15 gram this is basically like the Cockroach V2 frame it's just way too heavy don't get it unless you want a heavy frame it's
[01:33:29] probably really durable this is this weird iflight frame it's you won't be able to find it anyway this is a prototype one we don't want to measure that this is the Cockroach
[01:33:44] V3 in the heavier material poly carbonet 3.96 gram pretty purple but kind of heavy that's what this is as well and that's what this is as well hold
[01:34:09] on all right now we're getting into the good stuff these are both the the softer lighter ones as well as this this is my current favorite frame newbie drone cockroach V3 PP polypropylene
[01:34:33] softer 2.89 gram this is the Mobula 6 2024 frame so this is 2.9 this is 2.7 2.73 call it 2.7 02 of a gram difference just the plastic but the motor mount bases on the Cockroach V3 are
[01:35:01] significantly thinner and they give you much shorter Hardware so this Frame ends up weighing less than the Mobula 6 2024 frame because of the hardware that you can use to Mount Your Motors on this
[01:35:15] versus this both frames are great though don't get me wrong I I just I like this one a little bit better and so now we've got another option which is the light AF racing
[01:35:31] frame which also uses the short Hardware right so the the proper comparison is to the V3 right and again the V3 is 2.9 gram the new racing frame wow Jesus 2.35 grams good god 2.35 G
[01:35:57] and it still has the really thin motor bases so you're still going to use they give you they give you the shorter Hardware in the box so here's what I mean about that
[01:36:09] the the racing frame man that's really we're going to take a look at it more in a second the the racing frame 2.36 come on man come on
[01:36:28] man there we go with one two three four [@$#%] I'm going have to count them like this 1 2 3 4 5 6 ah perfect 1 2 3 4 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 12 of the screws and the racing frame
[01:36:51] are two somebody write this in chat for me 2.76 grams 2.76 for the mounting hardware and the frame all right now watch this the the meteor 65 airframe it's just too fragile when
[01:37:11] when you're using regular stuff with it so I I don't even consider that to be an option thank you skull the other real option for a super lightweight but durable enough to actually fly hard is
[01:37:26] this guy but then we need some of the longer Hardware which I had a set of over here and then I cleaned up the desk and of course now it's gone okay here's a surprise for you
[01:37:57] uh wait I stole that from Mighty Car Mods go subscribe to their Channel if you have any interest whatsoever in cars or just good content HappyModel sent me this and I was
[01:38:21] like oh cool they sent me another they they saw me beating the [@$#%] out of my Mobula 6 2024 and they sent me another one but there's a difference has anyone spotted it yet
[01:38:35] there's a difference they weren't lying look at those beautiful motor plugs Mobula 6 2024 with motor plugs my friends so what we can do instantane ously is take the motors
[01:38:57] off and I'm going to pull the and we'll swap the motors out I'm going to just instantly swap 0702 36000 onto it or I guess I could put the 40,000 on I know everybody's
[01:39:18] looking for well [@$#%] it we'll do the 40,000 I have another set of them maybe no let's do oh wait wait wait wait wait wait hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on let's
[01:39:38] weigh it yeah let's weigh it let's weigh it real quick real quick real quick so oh man I've changed so much on mine though I wanted to weigh it against the one that I
[01:39:50] upgraded but I've changed a bunch on the one that I've up well whatever it's a half decent comparison at some point we'll get a proper weight
[01:40:03] but just just for the time being we'll we'll just do a quick weit Stone stock Mobula 6 2024 18.18 gr 18.18 and then the one that's direct soldered which I've done a bunch of
[01:40:21] upgrades on right I put a nice nice short 180° lead on I put the different camera different canopy Jesus 17.14 so full gram difference but the the canopy and Camera make a big
[01:40:38] difference on this but there you go there's a weight on a Mobula 6 2024 with plugs which I have absolutely no info on it might not be available for a year for all I know I'm sure it'll be
[01:40:52] aailable soon but 18.15 gram with plugs that's fineI I would so much rather have that slight weight ponent does anybody know what it weighs
[01:41:08] what the what the direct soldered one weighs off hand this is actually really nice I'm going to pull these motors off and immediately swap them out and and
[01:41:30] I'm going to use them on the direct soldered one on the direct soldered one Jesus Christ because I have pounded the living balls out of these motors and they are just shot so this is
[01:41:48] great I've got a fresh set of these 0802 28,000 for that one because if you want like the ultimate lightweight it's still sort of a BNF I
[01:42:06] don't know not really Jesus Christ come off of there my God is this stupid to remove these motors right away and swap them no all right good thanks for always have in my back
[01:42:26] chat is there like any value in flying this thing still in stock I flew it completely unmolested and look the whole point of buying the Mobula 6 2024 with the motor plugs on is so that you can
[01:42:41] easily swap the motors out so let's swap the motors out instantly before we even fly the damn thing I literally just like took it out of the box earlier today or last night
[01:42:53] or something I don't know what it was but what I'm doing right now is I'm stealing these motor plugs cuz I want to get us a weight on the Mobula 6 2024
[01:43:06] frame so those Motors are going to get direct soldered under there where's that weight again where's that weight on the racing frame with the with the
[01:43:17] screws also Le let's let's let's figure all the things out what what was the weight I'll bust the screws out again I want to figure out what the Newbie drone V3 frame ways with the
[01:43:38] screws what the racing frame weigh the the the light cockroach light frame weighs with the screws and I also want to figure out what we're figuring out right now what this weighs
[01:43:54] so somebody grabb that weight again for me Scotty Scott says my Mobula 6 2024 weighs 17.7 gram so 0.4 of a gram from the direct soldered one to the motor plug one if you buy the direct soldered
[01:44:12] one you are high as [@$#%] wait for the motor plug one4 grams is well well well worth having the motor plugs don't be high here we go you guys get that weight yetthe regular screws weigh a half a
[01:44:40] gram good Lord 0 48 what's up hypnos so Mobula 6 2020 2024 frame with the longer Hardware 3.27 gram what was that other weight was it 2.76 is that what it
[01:45:10] was scrolling back up hold on 2.76 so the race frame is at 2.76 with the screws the Mobula 6 2024 frame with the longer screws is 3.23 gram that's a pretty big difference for racing that's
[01:45:32] a huge difference so somebody put this in the chat Mobula 6 2024 3.23 gam cockroach V3 race 2.76 and then let me get you a V3 measurement well no no no no hold on
[01:46:00] we can we could just do the math we could just do the math hold on I got this I can math it oh no hold on we got to tear this out we can do the math V3 is 2.88 gram wait isn't there
[01:46:23] like a fancy way to do this with tear hold on I could do this with tear put this on here tear take it off put this on the V3 frame is 053 of a gram heavier so 0.53 of a gram
[01:46:41] heavier thank you Kevin so that means 2.76 7 8 9 10 11 12 3 2 3 wow it's exactly the same Mobula 6 2024 frame with the longer Hardware required to mount the motors weighs
[01:47:05] exactly the same as the Cockroach V3 with the shorter Hardware that makes life so much simpler so the race frame is a half a gram lighter very very cool
[01:47:19] the question is will it explode and I probably won't be able to answer that immediately tonight Jesus it's after 12 already oh well but I can begin to answer
[01:47:39] that hold on what what should I transfer into this give me one second let me just think about this Mia 6224 is is fine I'm going to swap the motors over that's good to go this
[01:48:00] guy hold on let's take a quick look at the light AF for a and we're going to compare it to the to the Mobula 6 I'm sorry we're going to compare it to the V3 frame so
[01:48:23] what do we lose for a half a gram the the most obvious difference is the height of the ducts look at the difference the light AF is obviously on the right so not only are they skinnier
[01:48:44] top to bottom but they're lower which I kind of like so that's pretty cool the the standoffs I don't know if we call them standoffs but these supports here look to be pretty much the
[01:49:04] same see what I mean V3 on top race on the bottom even though it's out of focus it's basically the same there you go so the the supports seem to be the same which is awesome the the mount
[01:49:21] bases are EX exactly the same the battery tray oh interesting okay here's the V3 that we know and love it's got the extra set of posts on the bottom that you can do cool stuff with
[01:49:37] here's the race they took those posts off and they added these little guys because that's where the battery pushes up against so the battery is going to push up against come on you piece of
[01:49:50] [@$#%] the battery is going to push up against that wow sometimes that works there we go so the battery will push up against that but then on this side here they removed a little bit
[01:50:09] of that plastic that's pretty cool the support piece here is just much thinner this is the V3 right it's the same thickness as the duct here's the race much thinner so
[01:50:25] they saved a bunch of weight there that's pretty much it the battery Bay the battery tray looks exactly the same between the two of them and the things up on top are pretty
[01:50:41] much exactly the same as well so they save the weight from around here very very cool let's take a look I don't know why I said that let's what am I gonna put this in
[01:51:00] Mobula 6 2024 let me think about this for a second fully upgraded IID have to switch the camera out eventually I'll switch the camera out for right
[01:51:38] now it's got BT 2.0 okay let's pull this apart Mobula 6 2024 what's up kazy with plugs is going to be the new platform for the Ultimate Freestyle tiny whoop I think as long as they can get the
[01:52:03] quality control figured out so let's start let's start that right now I prefer I don't I feel okay taking it out of the Mobula 62 nothing wrong with the mobula 6 2024 frame
[01:52:20] but I like the Cockroach frame better so let's pull this apart this is not going to be the final new Ultimate Freestyle tiny whoop formula I don't like this camera I don't like this
[01:52:35] canopy but for the time being we can get started and start abusing the the the race frame and what I what I can probably do is a is a quick dump from from my existing 2024 into this one
[01:52:54] so that we can get the get this up in the air fly a bunch of batteries on the race frame see how it is in terms of vibration resistance right I'm going to pull a dump a diff
[01:53:10] file and it's going to pull over some aggressive pids oh man hold on hold on hold on this makes me think though maybe I should no let let let's just keep going let's just
[01:53:23] keep going this is going to be the quickest thing for me to do it's already after midnight this will be the quickest thing for me to do so let's just Mash this in here get it
[01:53:35] bound quick diff from the other one and they sent me four of these frames I'm going to try these frames on a couple of other builds we'll dive back into this on whoop Wednesday
[01:53:51] and we'll keep learning about this but for the time being I have to pee I've I've been I've been holding back P for a long time and this this stream's going to be at
[01:54:08] least another half an hour so I have to I gotta go hold on let me give you something to watch hold on come on God damn it all here this is what won me the 3D printer at
[01:54:31] Rampage you guys can watch this it's on the channel it's not in a playlist though be right back all right now that I've Co copyright donkey myself here's the link it's
[01:56:00] fine there's the link I need to put that into a playlist real quick it's already in two FPV edits it's in patrons only and I put it into shorts that's interesting that's a weird thing to do all right
[01:56:20] cool TGF fpvwhat do you think of that all right back to it back to it back to it back to it so I'm going to use all the the stock hardware for this I I just want to slap
[01:56:36] this together to get this light AF frame in the air but again we're going to do more testing of this light AF frame on Wednesday of this week I'm really interested to
[01:57:01] see where the prop line ends up being on this because they made the the duct so thin that I'm super curious if if it's what height is it at is it at the height for newbie drone Motors is
[01:57:22] at the height for HappyModel Motors it's I'm starting to realize that like so I didn't realize this the the BetaFPV 72s are like significantly taller than the the HappyModel
[01:57:38] 72s and I don't love that Motors should be as short as possible these these things are very under slung like most of the weight is under the prop line so the lower that you can make the
[01:57:54] prop line the better and I know that seems like kind of nuts but it's really it really does make a difference so and I said earlier the the meteor 65
[01:58:11] airframe with HappyModel Motors is very fragile and I think the reason is that the motors are so much lower that whenever you hit something the guard just slides right
[01:58:28] up over the propeller and then so the guard has to deal with all of that energy all by itself whereas with the with the BetaFPV Motors on there they're taller and
[01:58:44] especially when you have a triblade it's going to put a bunch of that energy into the motor and into the into the base of the into the motor base basically so that would explain why some
[01:58:59] people find that the meteor 65 airframe is not super fragile all right cool so this is good I've got an extra set of this longer heavier Hardware that I can just get out of the way real quick
[01:59:18] here and so now we're going to throw I guess I have to do the 40,000 KV Motors right I mean no h hold on no because like the most click baity thing I can possibly do
[01:59:52] in the future is like 40,000 cause cuz look th this this is going to end up being a 17 point oh wow we can do a 16 so we're g to go we're going to go as clickbait as
[02:00:09] possible of course because that's the only way to get any success on YouTube but it'll be pretty [@$#%] hysterical so we're going to go 40,000 KV
[02:00:23] and then race frame it's not going to be 16 grams tonight but in the future it will be so let's just do it and then I'll snag a production set of these 0702 40,000 and that'll be my extra the
[02:00:45] reason why I was I was thinking about not doing these 40,000 is that I now won't have any extras cuz I I just put the one set on the WalkSnail rig maybe I'll pull those off the walks
[02:00:56] snail rig though may maybe that WalkSnail rig will get the 36,000 cuz they're plenty no that's stupid I don't know what what's interesting about the WalkSnail rig is you got to be
[02:01:08] careful so this this one for example the the drift car chasing rig RC drift carard that is if I go Full Throttle with this for more than a second it Browns out the the the
[02:01:23] walks nail VTX and you lose video so for the freestyle version of it on the 40,000 I got to be really careful so I maybe I don't what I mean maybe don't do that but I'm super curious what it'll
[02:01:43] fly like with those so I'll I'll leave them on for the time being and then well that that'll give me a chance to see how how how long like well how short rather do I need to hang on
[02:01:57] the throttle to Brown that damn thing out so that's fine that'll be a there'll be some testing there here are the shorter screws they are so short my
[02:02:12] God it's really like absurd this should be super interesting within the next week or two we will have a 16 gram 40,000 KV analog tiny whoop based off of the Mobula 6 2024
[02:02:38] with plugs that you can't get yet man I wonder if so wait this Frame w we can get down to can we get down to 15 grams I think we can get down to 15 grams this race oh God I I totally
[02:03:03] forgot to mention the thing that I don't like about the race frame the hooks are gone there's no hooks for the for the Batwing camera mount so the the the the race frame is not
[02:03:28] oh oh is it polycarbonate wow the oh my god I didn't even do this little test I didn't do the the the squish test oh my God it's stiff as hell how what hold on how is it so
[02:03:47] stiff how the hell they do that is it is it polycarbonate it's kind of shiny I I think maybe they're using another material on this because it
[02:04:07] is stiffer it's stiffer in this direction wow I don't know how they did that that's super interesting the V3 frame you can get it in both PC and PP polycarbonate and polypropylene
[02:04:29] I don't know what the it's is on their website can somebody look on their website real quick can somebody see on their website what the the light AF frame is made of what material it's
[02:04:41] made of maybe they'll give you the option like the like on the V3 God damn it come on these little tiny screws are so hard to get in here sometimes but we're going to be able to do a
[02:04:57] very very very light build here wait till you see how light this this build ends up within the next week make sure you're subscribed and all those things you're not going to want to
[02:05:10] miss this this is going to be stupid because it's going to have these horrendously overpowered Motors on it and it's going to be hysterically light Tokyo Dom says maybe try a lower
[02:05:27] KV and add reverse Expo on the motors I can punch out all day with mine the reverse Expo thing is just insane to me you're now the second person that's mentioned that I've I've never heard of
[02:05:41] anybody wanting to do that in like the last two weeks you're the second person rocket Tech says material polypropylene I'll be damned okay so that material is heavier the the pp
[02:05:55] material is heavier than the PC material but it is also stiffer so they've removed a lot of plastic because it's a half a gram lighter and it's the heavier material we weighed one of the one of
[02:06:10] the polypropylene frames earlier that was one of those was in that stack and it was significantly heavier as the V3 so wow they could if if they do a PC version of this
[02:06:26] Frame it'll be even lighter like maybe another half a gram lighter this is wild I hope they do although it's might be so it might be too floppy the the V3 design might be the absolute bare
[02:06:44] minimum of material for the more flexible plastic so this face frame since it's a stiffer material where my mind goes is will we have issues with it cracking I
[02:07:03] remember when newbie Dron sent me the V3 in in the in the pp material they saidthis is even more durable I bet you you can't break it but I I I wasn't able to break the other one
[02:07:16] anyway so we'll see I'll be super curious to see if if this light AF frame is durable or not my hunch is going to be though that since it's a stiffer plastic we might run into issues of
[02:07:38] it cracking 40,000 KV Motors should bring that out of it pretty damn quick though and me flying Rock Tech says Google search says PP is lighter but PC is sturdier
[02:07:52] am I backwards I might be backwards if you guys look at the V3 cockroach frame on newbie drone's website you'll see that it's offered in two materials which material is lighter
[02:08:10] PC or PP chronic nugget says is there a reason to not use sing popularities on larger quads nope it's the best antenna available I use them on everything well I lied there is a
[02:08:31] reason they're expensive and they are not fragile but also not durable they're durable enough but the smaller the antenna the tighter the tolerance is so the the the less durable
[02:08:49] it's sort of inherently going to be and so that's the only reason to not run it I ran them on my freestyle rigs for a while but then I I break tons of antennas on my freestyle Rigs and it got
[02:09:06] a little expensive because they are 20 bucks per and it's just 20 bucks 20 bucks 20 bucks 20 bucks 20 bucks and so I switched over to some other bigger heavier antennas that don't
[02:09:19] perform as well but for freestyle you're not like going super super super far away right so it's kind of Okay Kevin brings up an awesome Point shrink wrapping the head of the antenna
[02:09:35] definitely helps but I destroy them by just smacking them on concrete so hard that the internal elements come become Out Of Tune and the antenna really doesn't work as an antenna
[02:09:47] anymore once it's out of tune it like you almost might will not have an antenna if it's not tuned properly but shrink wrapping the head of the antenna is an absolute necessity
[02:10:02] so try the singularity it's might last for you forever not many people crash as hard or as often as I do there we go if you take a Mobula 6 2024 with plugs
[02:10:22] which you can't even buy yet you will be able to and you put it into a newbie drone light AF frame without propellers it weighs exactly 17 gram with
[02:10:41] propellers and for the love of God on the 40,000 KV Motors the only propellers that you want to run are the by blades high right high right we got a high left that's high right come on where's
[02:10:54] another high left come on come on all high rates there we go I left with GemFan 1210 by blades left left right right it weighs 17.7 gram I will be able to save another half
[02:11:23] a gram from this by switching the camera and canopy but we're not going to do that tonight but that is coming we are going to do that for absolute certain props in or props out let's do
[02:11:41] props let's do props in 40,000 K moers we'll start playing around with props in O that propeller is not not going to stay on that motor not at 40,000 KV hold
[02:11:57] on if your propellers are too loose take your least favorite sharp tipped tweezers put the tip in there at a 45 degree angle and spin it around you're going to score up the inside of the
[02:12:08] mounting surface and that's going to raise some of the plastic so that it grabs onto the motor shaft a little bit better props in life what's that going to be like much
[02:12:21] better much much much better okay props in maybe this one will fit a little bit better oh that one fit perfect well grip's perfect I should say they all fit but oh nope that one's way too
[02:12:40] loose that's weird some of these are too these are all brand new different batches maybe it's an easy fix in there you do it in the top and the bottom in
[02:12:56] there SC it up props in much better last one nope too loose one was fine Pache smok's in the house what's up homie whoa what was that there we
[02:13:29] go and there we go okay should be enough 17.7 gram dry with 40,000 KV Motors what could go wrong okay so I need to take the other one and just dump the
[02:14:00] the diff rather it across okay come on baby flate you can do it connect 4.4.0 hopefully I haven't updated this one let's go diff I don't recommend that you do this unless
[02:14:28] absolutely everything is exactly the same you can still screw things up though so just for the most part don't do this 4.4.0 all right copied that into the clipboard let's see what version the new
[02:14:41] mobula 7 2024 is on hopefully it's 4.4.0 yes 4.4.0 fan effing tastic paste it in look for red text there won't be any because it's the same version of betaf
[02:15:04] flight there we go and save all right now this one's set up exactly like the other one other than the bind I'm still going to need to bind it just a super quick check hold on nose down up left
[02:15:18] roll right roll ya'all left ya'all right good ports everything looks fine config that's good that's good that looks fine great power and Battery looks okay fail safe
[02:15:37] fine pit tuning pretty aggressive tune what the hell why did that just why is this off that's very weird this is my tune though I'm just going to back this off a little tiny bit cuz they're 40,000 KV
[02:15:58] Motors I might need to back it off a little bit more than that but we'll oh this is weird some of the stuff didn't carry over what's Happening Here the pids didn't come over some of
[02:16:20] the pids came came over let's try this again did it come over on like a different profile or something that was weird let's try this again oh that's
[02:16:42] strange that's acting really really weird I don't know and so some of these feed forward settings are not coming over either that's odd okay I don't know what that's
[02:16:59] about but I'm just going to fix it so I need to go up here to presets and we're going to go yep Express lrs 500 we're going to go cinematic [@$#%] is it spib based oh God damn
[02:17:18] it no I'm not going to do that I'm just going to leave this this will be fine let me back the pids off a little tiny I'm going to actually back them off a
[02:17:29] bunch because I've run these 40,000 KV Motors before they're just so so so so so so much back this master multiplier off I don't need as much pit value with motors that are this powerful
[02:17:43] is basically what's going on here throttle midpoint is going to have to come down for sure again because of the higher KV Motors so I'm just kind of taking a guess there
[02:17:56] these should be totally fine these are fresh Motors this looks good th000 2000 tear okay great modes my modes did come over some of the modes came over wow this is weird dude the diff the diff
[02:18:14] is acting really strange certain stuff is just not coming over very very weird well I mean you shouldn't use diffs anyway wow that's so strange the the the specific things that are and aren't
[02:18:37] coming over this came over what is all this rap profile selection what the hell oh this is odd very weird I think maybe this is stuff that HappyModel had set
[02:18:56] up I don't know what the hell why is motor stop turned on it is set up props out so for the only time ever we're going to switch from the default of props out props out
[02:19:14] was never a default to props in this is weird oh I'm GNA have to do blue jay aren't I hold on let's just keep going on until first arm great turn the power down to 25 it's already on
[02:19:32] Race eight that's great OSD there's probably like weird stuff turned on in here like disarm no now that's strange usually the OSD is where I have stuff that
[02:19:51] this is the weirdest diff I've ever pulled over isn't motor stop supposed to not be turned on don't spin the motors one armed I I I want the motors to spin one armed but why is that turned on hold
[02:20:03] on let Let's let's put a battery on it and see what happens well I mean I have to bind it anyway so let's let's might as well get it bound this is weird I'm very
[02:20:16] confused all comes with HappyModel makes sense chronic nugget says is it even worth trying to repair antennas not really usually break them on the UFL I a limited Rec
[02:20:32] crimping no it you just replace them all right here we go so let's get this in the bind mode and we'll plug it in three times get it bound up come on come on come on come
[02:20:52] on all right bind mode press to send bind request great we're going to plug it in once unplug it twice unplug it three times that's going to put it into bind mode hit the button bind request
[02:21:10] binding should be there it's not this is not on elrs 2.5 is it hold on hold on let's try one more time it doesn't appear to be in bind mode let's try this again
[02:21:45] once actually maybe maybe it's booting in bind mode no it's not it's not hold on let's try this again maybe maybe I wasn't quick enough plug unplug plug unplug plug no it's not going into bind mode
[02:22:08] hold on let me do it slower plug it wait for that light to come on plug it wait for that light to come on plug it again oh there it is double double flash there we go yep I was doing it too fast
[02:22:26] interesting B mode press the sun bind request binding wait for the beep give me the beep there's the beep good to go okay unplug and I think it'll fly like this let's what was I doing I I was
[02:22:45] looking at something oh the the motor stop thing that's super weird let me let me just throw a battery in it we'll see what happens I don't I I don't I don't know o the battery fits in here really
[02:22:56] nice the the not having those posts on the bottom the battery slides in there much better on this one than the V3 and the V3 it slides in there fine it's like such a minor complaint but if
[02:23:12] you really want to nit nitpick the V3 that's something that you can technically nitpick is that the batteries slide in there a little bit janky all right let's see if the motor spin
[02:23:25] on arm they don't they're just making some weird jittering so but that could be any number of things let's see let's turn off that weird motor stop that's so strange I mean what's that even for what
[02:23:49] what like other than the motor spinning why would you arm it all right so let's turn this off that should not be on don't spin the motors when armed wny would anyone ever
[02:23:59] turn that on let me just go back in here and double check B directional dshot yes 12 motor Poes 12% motor idle is kind of high all right well I just changed that one thing
[02:24:12] let's see if that helped weird flat spot on the right here we go get in there there we go all right let's see if that fixed it should can't imagine that it
[02:24:36] didn't nope something's still going on I also need to oh I got to get these motors spin in the right direction I i' I've got a ways to go and I might also need to put it into blue jay and do
[02:24:50] some [@$#%] but at the moment it's acting very strange I don't really know what's happening but let's put it into the motors Tab and see if anything weird is happening there I might just
[02:25:06] need to get it into blue jay so Motors tab let's just try this real quick no we got nothing the motors won't spin so let's get it out of here and we're going to go to ESC configurator and we'll take a
[02:25:25] look at what is on here at the moment so we're going to connect we're going to read settings and so this has blue j19 o5 let's get it on to 0.16 flash all esc's flash local
[02:25:45] firmware we're going to go to downloads and we're going to look for oh5 48 there we go oh5 48 hex blue j.6 all right so let's do this first and
[02:26:06] foremost I've not had good luck on any of the Blue Jays after 0.16 the the main blue jay Dev the last work that he did was .1 six and in in a bunch of quads experience here
[02:26:28] 0.16 is the best version of Blue Jay that there's ever been I've had a whole bunch of really weird issues with 0.178 and N mainly 0.18 and 0.19 0.20 blows up esc's so definitely never ever ever do
[02:26:44] 020 but I've not even had good luck on 0.8 or 0.19 0.16 is the way to go all right so there's that startup power is cranked let's turn up the beep strength a little bit just so that the Beeper is a
[02:27:00] little bit louder we're going to turn the beacon delay down to two minutes just in case we lose it turn on break on stop and then we're going to turn on pwm dithering
[02:27:13] right settings good to go disconnect let's get back into beta and see if the motors will turn now that'd be a good starting point all right it has reset three times for some
[02:27:37] reason no okay this is not great okay why what's happening here oh oh the motors are all bound up oh oh oh oh some what is happening here okay oh okay so that's not good all
[02:28:23] right this was something that every once in a while would happen on the the Cockroach V3 frames but it would only happen with like one of the it would only happen like with like one at a time the the
[02:28:44] center hole of these new cockroach frames is a little tight and what's happening on this race frame is that it's rubbing you can't see it the C clip is still able to turn maybe on one of
[02:29:00] these the C clip won't turn NOP it's turning on that one Focus you jackass come on there's so much contrast for you to focus there we go no that c clip is turning the c clips are barely turning
[02:29:17] but they are you see how tight that is you see how tight the C clip is in the in the hole it can't be so we are going to have to drill this Frame out a little
[02:29:32] bit which means I'm going to have to take all these motors off again and it's already 12:45 well well I'm Pro I might hold on I'm tired
[02:30:26] man we're going to fix this on whoop Wednesday the motors won't turn Cole I can't I can't just receive it [@$#%] it let's do it I'm gonna I'm going to drill these out so that it goes as quick as
[02:31:02] possible this won't take that long hold on I gotta go grab the I got grab DRS all right so I can almost guarantee you that this Frame will work totally fine on newbie
[02:31:57] drone motors for the record but if you want to use HappyModel Motors you're going to need to either file or drill these out I do not have
[02:32:20] it's looking it's going to be an eighth inch drill bit why do they make the they should make these drill bits fit even tighter in here so that nobody can ever get them
[02:32:35] out Jesus hell is e inch big enough that's probably perfect might still be too small aan is either going to be perfect or the tiniest little bit too small and then I'll bet you that
[02:32:58] 964th is going to potentially be a little bit too big but let's take a quick look what I'll try to do with the eighth is kind of one of these like just what I mean while it's spinning
[02:33:12] take a little bit of extra Material off all right let's see Bolt this motor back down we'll see if it spins spins freely all right let's see you could just as easily do this
[02:33:41] with a file it would just take a little bit longer I like the idea of doing it with a drill bit because it's going to just smash right through SC it no that's still too tight
[02:33:57] [@$#%] it's still binding all right for science since they sent me four of these I'm going to try the the 964 and if I wreck this Frame I wreck it I I I I'm sure it'll be fine though
[02:34:22] there's 964th okay come on we go all right oh that's quite a bit bigger oh oh that's taking some material off yikes hold on let me back it out
[02:34:45] actually a there we go cool ah it's good to go it's really bit on the first time through but then as soon as I backed it out all right so here's here's the amount of material that it took off just
[02:35:04] to just to give you an idea it just took off like one little spiral so let's see if that's enough that's what it took off just one that's probably just like one complete SP
[02:35:19] spiral of plastic what I mean so let's see I bet you that's just enough let me take a quick look at it you well it took a little bit more off and it's sitting up and around
[02:35:36] the hole so it took it looks like it took two two Loops of material off basically two little Chompies these motors are so small that you just you can't have like anything
[02:35:51] rubbing against them or they won't be able to get they won't be able to start spinning once they're spinning they're fine but it's getting them them started spinning that's the tough part
[02:36:02] it took twice as much material off that I just showed you so let's see let's see if that's enough I like to think that doing it with a drill bit it kind of
[02:36:17] centers itself that's what I worry about with the doing it with a file is that you're going to file one side harder than the other hold on just want to rock it around a little
[02:36:47] bit to make sure that there's nothing on the edges that's going to like kind of hang over all right let's see here come on God these little screws are so tough get in there
[02:37:11] nope this turned into a lot more than I thought it's going to be all right though I mean if if when you get these frames you have to take take him out of the box and send the drill bit down them
[02:37:23] it's not a big deal this is a DIY hobby at all right what's a little bit more DIY I have a feeling it's still not going to spin totally freely because I can there's just
[02:37:40] little little pieces of plastic that I think are kind of hanging out in there hold on now I might actually need to follow the drill bit up with a file to get all the excess plastic
[02:37:54] off nope nope nope we're good we're good that's fine yep that's spinning freely now okay so 964 drill bit see there's just like there's an extra little outer area of
[02:38:19] plastic that even though it doesn't feel it's rubbing ah there we go no we're good I see cuz it's pulling the plastic outwards it looks worse than it is it's
[02:38:41] fine yep it's fine in there okay so you can just fire the drill bit down it's not going to look it's it'll be fine fine all right so let's just do that three more times real
[02:38:55] quick and then I'll think I think we'll be fine I don't know why I put that down here we go so if you're going to run HappyModel Motors get that drill bit or file
[02:39:18] out and just take off a little a little bit of material oh what I should do is put this on the other no that's fine I was going to say drill it from
[02:39:33] the other side and then the extra plastic will be on the base but you might have the same kind of problem all right so I'm not going to screw with this one at all
[02:39:48] that's me just sending the drill bit down there let's see how this does I mean the the next couple ones of these that I do I'm going to do this and then I'm going to I'm going to just bring the
[02:40:06] file in just to totally clean it up but for right now to be in a hurry and for science I'll just use the drill we'll see what's what's up that's fine that's fine so you
[02:40:25] can just fire the drill bit down it we'll be good and then we'll compare the we won't compare the RPMs we'll just fly the damn thing it'll be obvious if it's binding there we go
[02:40:43] okay all right for for all I know every motor other than HappyModel might be fine I've not really I've definitely run into this once or twice with happy models on the V3 frame and I've had to just hit
[02:41:18] one of the holes with a with a file real quick this is this is definitely more significant of a of an issue on this particular frame they closed those those holes down a
[02:41:36] fraction of a millimeter more on this Frame maybe they'll start doing this at the factory Red Dog thanks for the subscription brother enjoy
[02:41:58] yourself why did that not grab oh that was weird okay it's pulling a bunch of the plastic out but it's pulling it out of the way so it's fine okay there we
[02:42:28] go Kevin SAR thank you dude Brent Anderson says just looked at a few builds for this potential Cate and you just shed a gold nugget whole clip clearance brilliant I've I've meant
[02:42:40] to talk about it's I've not had this happen during a live stream before this has always happened to me when I've been working on rigs outside of the streams and I've always like H remember
[02:42:53] to mention this on the next live stream and I've forgotten every single time so I'm weirdly glad that this happen during a stream I have removed very little plastic so here's
[02:43:09] the total amount of plastic that I've removed from four from four holes it's really close like that's it that's all the plastic that I've had to remove and they're all fine so this is it's very
[02:43:24] close so if if you have to do it manually with a file it's not going to take you long what I am going to say though is put the file all the way down there so that you got the whole don't
[02:43:36] use the thin part of the file and try to go around like this put the file all the way in there to the thickest part of the file and that way you're going to get it as centered as possible you don't want
[02:43:47] to like file one side a whole bunch right and not the other side and it's hard to keep like the even amount of pressure all the way around so get a file that barely fits or even better a
[02:43:58] file that doesn't fit so you can put it all the way in there and then just like spin the file around and it'll just take a little bit of material out I like the drill bit though the drill bit
[02:44:07] is going to pull the plastic out of there and it kind of self-c centers itself so this should be flyable although I I do still need to get the motor spinning the right
[02:44:20] Direction so we do need to go into BetaFlight real quick and this is also an example of why when something weird is going on don't just hammer on it don't just like go up to
[02:44:35] full throttle and let it sit there for a minute we could have blown this we could have blown this aiio up if we've been stupid that's the sound that I wanted to hear and so now if we look
[02:44:50] here right so this is how we can tell if if I got one not enough or one too much hold on oh God damn it oh God damn it there we go so we can go and crank these guys up and look at the RPM see
[02:45:10] how the RPMs are pretty much exactly the same 34,000 34,000 33,000 32,000 that's close enough there's not one of these that's rubbing and another one's not so we're fine so we're going to go into
[02:45:22] the motor Direction wizard get them all spinning the right direction actually hold on first let's make sure that they're in the right spots let's go here so that's right rear right front left
[02:45:36] rear left front great save and then let's reconnect back in here motor Direction understand the risks wizard start and spin motor number one is incorrect cuz we are now props
[02:45:54] in motor number two is incorrect W this would have been right oh no no it wouldn't have three and four are currently correct so we're good see I I I would have had to
[02:46:06] have done that regardless all right great test says Max prop size for this Frame 1.2 inch all right we got it 17. 4 gram dry 40,000 KV Motors it's
[02:46:25] bound let's see how the Newbie drone light AF frame is let's turn this controller on I'm just going to run my h3s because they're sitting right
[02:46:42] here and all right here we go oh please let this work fors HD off vrx oh look at that oh my God and there's a dog hi dog so this is the unreleased Mobula 6 2024 with
[02:47:06] plugs with 40,000 Motors immediately swapped over just instantaneously don't even wait 10 minutes don't fly it stock at all switch the motors right away and hope for the
[02:47:20] best but make sure you point it at a dog first oh my God it is so quiet all right that was with Horizon mode on wow these motors though sounds like a
[02:47:39] quad wow these motors are so they're so quiet all right so this battery's almost almost dead cuz we've been farting around good got that out of the way these motors don't feel that
[02:48:01] nuts for some reason frame feels light of course cuz it is oh my God these motors don't feel 40,000 KV but it's hard to tell I haven't flown in a while also on a new
[02:48:22] transmitter newi is transmitter which feels a little bit different here are the new tiny whoop Gates I mean the motors have plenty of power they just don't feel quite 40,000
[02:48:35] KV powerful didn't quite get there all right I mean I guess I need to start crashing it right that's like the main question mark is will this Frame hold up unfortunately
[02:48:52] it's after midnight already and I'm going to start crashing the damn thing oh [@$#%] all right well this batter's also been almost dead the whole time minute and 35 is is not the run time
[02:49:11] that we will normally get so hold on let's get a fresh battery on here and then we'll probably get the full 40,000 KV Mayhem BetaFPV lava battery going on flat spot to the right all right so
[02:49:27] this should be the the proper test to these I mean I've run these motors before I kind of know what to expect this is a heavy camera and canopy and
[02:49:39] so the the the ultr light frame oh God that was weird what was that about back up buddy come on back up back up back up uhoh buddy not right now now is not the time all right so that that was really
[02:50:00] weird and the battery why is the battery all the way down at okay the it feels weird oh and it's acting weird okay there's the 40,000 KV Jesus
[02:50:28] Christ oh God oh God okay hold on yikes yikes there it is there's the power oh my God okay they are indeed 40,000 KV the the tune is I don't know first battery on the this Sayo oh my
[02:50:59] god if I'm going to be crashing hard I want to do it down here I don't want to wake the whole family up I don't know I I don't know how hard I really want to hammer on
[02:51:13] this I I would rather put this frame in like a well I don't know all right we're getting some crashes in [@$#%] I guess this is the perfect buddy I guess this is the perfect
[02:51:37] the perfect AIO to beat the hell out of because I can get more the the 2 G4S beating those up it's like they're they're unobtainium it's flying a little bit weird I I
[02:51:56] have had some weirdness with the with the Mobula 6 2024 aios that's great let's do that that's helpful great okay so the frame is fine with these pits and absolutely abolutely
[02:52:20] absurd KV Motors so let's push it and we'll come in here and let's go this is going to be absolutely ridiculous but let's start pushing the pids on 40,000 KV
[02:52:36] Motors oh we're at the limit okay we're at the limit so listen after I chop the throttle see how the motors never come well what it's there's a
[02:52:54] 12% hold on that could be that 12% idle that that idle is way higher than than what I like hold on let me let me jump back into BetaFlight and just check that real
[02:53:05] quick hold up how do I have this much hair in these motors already oh okay which crash was that there was one there was one big hit right yikes yikes yikes
[02:53:39] yikes that was awful fast all right well so that was my worry that was my worry about this harder plastic is that it would become brittle so I don't have it in me to
[02:54:01] swap another frame on we'll do that on we'll do that on whoop Wednesday all right so that ends the testing for tonight there was I think one big hard hit onto the onto the
[02:54:20] hardwood which is more than likely what what did it wow okay so let let's take a look at a couple other things let's see let's take a look at where the where the
[02:54:37] props ride around to try to maybe make some sense out of this all right so all right the props seem to ride around about Perfect come on all right so you can see here hold on
[02:55:01] let me get this guy the the propeller rides around all right so look at the tip of the propeller here and see how it interfaces with this part of the the duct so that's that looks good the the
[02:55:15] propeller rides around here at the the right height so so that's a that's a good thing what I'm starting to learn here's the break what I'm starting to learn is that by blades so two things if the pr if the
[02:55:34] propeller runs too low the what can happen is the duct can pop up over it I'm trying to show you guys do my fingers the the it can pop up over it this is the problem that I think that
[02:55:54] the meteor 65 air has when you run HappyModel Motors the prop line is lower please Focus you God damn piece of [@$#%] and so that can cause problems if the propeller comes up over then
[02:56:12] in crashes the duct has to put up with everything this is not the case this propeller is riding good and you can see exactly what we want during crashes we want the duct to push on the prop and
[02:56:26] then for the whole motor to flex you see that see how the motor is flexing that's a good thing that's what we want I could show you better on this one right so that's a good thing this is
[02:56:42] this Frame and just this is what I like about the V3 frames is that this happens compare that to the the meteor 65 Frame or in this case the crown frame and see how low the
[02:56:55] propeller sits so what happens when you crash this Frame is that exactly that and so and then with so you hit the wall this pushes up and then the the propeller spins out of the way and then
[02:57:11] this Frame bends all the way up here like this and then and so that that kills these ducts right so the meteor 65 Frame is like this the meteor 65 air frame is like this and this Crown frame
[02:57:26] is like this when you use these shorter Motors the HappyModel Motors are a little bit shorter which is a good thing the BetaFPV Motors are taller and you don't have this happen all right so
[02:57:38] we we haven't really talked too much about that but I just I want to start talking about that that's not the case here that this propeller is correctly in here what I think killed
[02:57:51] this Frame is that the material is stiffer they've obviously made this really thin but I think what killed this Frame is the by blades if you have a triblade on here like this here's
[02:58:05] another here's another cockroach V3 frame if you have a tri blade so we're already seeing this is what we want this is the the Cockroach V3 frame so the the prop line is good
[02:58:17] see see where the prop rides around in the middle of the duct that's correct right so this Frame we could run with a byblade and it would probably be fine but with a triblade it's even better
[02:58:28] because there's no way for the tri blade to rotate completely out of the way worst case it's here and so I think maybe maybe maybe maybe and this is a race frame and all the racers run
[02:58:42] Tri blades maybe maybe maybe maybe you have to run Tri blades on this Frame or or maybe I just hit perfectly wrong and I just happened to break it but I don't know I'm trying my best to to
[02:58:53] kind of figure this out but that happened awful quick the material is bendy right like like look how much I can bend this right this Frame is [@$#%] now anyway so might as
[02:59:11] well just mangle this [@$#%] but this material is bendy it's just what happens when you hit's really really really sharply so there's a chance that this Frame is not a good match with
[02:59:26] bades it's definitely a good match with HappyModel Motors as long as you drill out the the motor holes in the bottom so that they don't rub on the c clips but that happened in one
[02:59:44] battery so we we will see Kelvin man this happened on the first battery and I'm just kind of theorizing what may have happened little dab E6000 on here will absolutely bring this thing
[03:00:03] back to life they sent me four of them though so I'm not going to do that you can also put a little piece of shrink wrap here you can do Slide the shrink wrap on and then
[03:00:13] it'll it'll bridge the gap the only problem with doing that you got to be careful when you glue these frames together because you can't have the propeller come around and hit's so
[03:00:23] swap it and do it one more time same it's the same material as the V3 so Kelvin we were talking about this this is the heavier material right the the V3 frame that I like is the lighter
[03:00:35] weight more gummy material hold on let let me go on the website and Kelvin the the other the other issue is that with HappyModel Motors the c clips are too big the motors will not
[03:00:51] spin in this Frame I had to get a nine I had to use a 964 of an inch drill bit and drill out the the center holes on either one of these otherwise the motors would not spin at
[03:01:09] all just so that and that's on HappyModel Motors all the HappyModel Motors use the same c clips and the same everything so if anybody runs this light AF frame on HappyModel
[03:01:21] Motors they are going to run into that problem the motors will not spin you'll you'll be able to spin you'll be able to spin the propellers by hand but they bind up a
[03:01:33] little bit and then as soon as you arm it's doesn't have enough to spin the motors at all they just sit there vibrating so I I don't know like that's a little bit worrying because
[03:01:46] somebody is going to just build it and they're just going to sit there and arm it and arm it and arm it and arm it and they're that that's really hard on the fets so I don't know if you can have
[03:01:55] somebody pop these opened and drill them all out but as they sit with HappyModel Motors none of the motors will spin they absolutely had to be drilled out if you rewind like 45
[03:02:06] minutes in the live stream you'll see me doing it I I showed a super close up y y y what was I just going to check on whoop Wednesday I I I've been going for 3 hours 20 minutes so I I'm not
[03:02:19] going to swap this Frame tonight but whoop Wednesday I will put another frame through this and we'll see but that and Kelvin that is also a problem that I have had once or twice on
[03:02:31] the V3 frame but it's only been on like one side it's a pretty uncommon problem on the V3 frame but it has happened once or twice hold on I I I forget I keep forgetting poly
[03:02:47] propylene versus polycarbonate which one is which so hold on so this is the polypropylene this is the pp frame I need to look at the V3 cockroach frame to remember which one is which
[03:03:07] so okay the oh it's the lighter material okay okay so the polypropylene is the lighter weight more bendy material atal got it the polycarbonate is the heavier weight stiffer material here's what's
[03:03:23] here's what really threw me off is that when I do this squish test when I do this squish test here the V3 frame with the thicker duct is actually more squishy than this which is
[03:03:39] what made me think that this is the stiffer material but it's not these are both the same material so I'm guessing that this duct is thicker in this Dimension than this guy which is
[03:03:54] super interesting but man okay so we're going to test this more on we're going to test this more on on whoop Wednesday and I'm going to watch this stream back to see how hard that hit was
[03:04:15] that I took because I don't well hold on can I can I just do that can I go to my own stream is that a thing because it was it was just that one battery and I did go like
[03:04:28] immediately upstairs hold on let's see view your channel man this is some Inception [@$#%] let's turn this off okay where are we flying at here we go all right so it had
[03:04:42] to have happened upstairs there's just there's no way that it happened down here well screw it let's go through all the crashes and let's see if we can figure it out so we're up we're up
[03:04:54] we're up we're up we're up this was that first battery that was almost all the way discharged already so we did I did hit the symol there with the the front right so this
[03:05:08] happened on the front left so that wasn't the crash this happened on the front left let's see where did I hit the front left where's the next hit I can't imagine it was that one because that was hitting
[03:05:25] the gate I didn't hit anything solid on that one I'm pretty sure I remember hitting hard from upstairs because I remember a big old thump come on come on come on come
[03:05:41] on oh it could have been that that could have been that that was a pretty solid hit to metal but that looked like it hit on the right side we're looking for a left sided hit so it could have been
[03:05:53] that although no it wouldn't have been that I I I think I would have noticed it so now we're going upstairs was it on this battery I think it was on the other battery that
[03:06:06] that we slammed pretty good so now I think I'm going to pretty much come right back down okay come on come on come on all right and now I'm going to come nope not
[03:06:22] yet oh could have been that again that looked like it was on the right side I'm looking for a hard hit on the left all right so this that was a door hit on the left could have been that
[03:06:35] that wasn't very hard though that was a soft hit that was a gate hit and then carpet so that wouldn't have been it all right so here we go and now here is the second battery
[03:06:47] here's Teddy being a pain all right so here we go what do we got here and I mean we have YOLO props why not have a YOLO frame Racers are willing
[03:07:00] to deal with stuff that's again that's hitting soft on soft soft couch soft carpet right and I mean this is like even marketed as a race frame right this is we're
[03:07:16] flying freestyle here although razors crash hard so what what I do love about this Frame Kelvin is that I've been able to push the pids on 40,000 KV Motors and it's completely fine so that's super
[03:07:32] impressive it's eats up vibrations and from a tuning perspective it's absolutely fine which is hard to do BetaFPV was not able to do that with the meteor 65 airframe you have to
[03:07:44] really bring your pids down with that frame so just like the Cockroach V3 wow did I not hit hard upstairs I I could have sworn there was a big hard hit upstairs hell what what was the
[03:08:01] what now that was hitting the gate that's not hitting anything solid wasn't there like a big slam that's hitting the gate that's a super soft hit super soft again that's hitting
[03:08:16] another gate Teddy come on did I go back upstairs maybe wasn't there like a big slam that's again that's nothing I'm going to guess that it was that that metal hit on the on the
[03:08:40] chair over there again that's a soft hit ah it could have been that it really jammed in there hard I mean that's a it's soft material that it's hitting but it really did get jammed in there I
[03:09:02] guess it could have been that why do I remember like a really big slam weird it could have been that symbol hit too the symbol is like sharp metal and I dinged it wow no that's
[03:09:27] it okay well sometimes there's like a specific like wow that was a huge hammered into something or other and that's definitely where it happened this is not the case so I'm just going to
[03:09:43] have to throw another frame at it so we'll do that on whoop one I'll drill it out and we'll throw another black frame at it no we'll try the white frame this next time
[03:09:57] no use the other black frame cool the end of mailbag the rest of mailbag is oh no we did it no we did it the the the HappyModel Mobula 6 2024 with the plugs was the one male bag
[03:10:26] and then the the Newbie drone frames Kelvin thank you for sending these frames over here I'll show you the crack in super detailed this camera does a great job at at macro Focus macro macro Focus
[03:10:51] rather this way you get actual video I'll send you the frame if you want there you go let me know if you want me to send you the frame I'll print a quick label but let me let me test the
[03:11:14] other one first there it is I don't think there's like a seam there or anything is there doesn't look like there's any kind of a seam there but there you go all right
[03:11:32] friends that's it for me I'll see you guys on Wednesday thanks for hanging out C fv.com to support the madness I appreciate every single one of you be good have a great night shout out to
[03:11:46] newbie for putting it on the line and making the lightest frame and look at that that's a cool new sticker that they sent and coming to the chat asking questions getting feedback
[03:12:01] don't see really anybody else doing that that's pretty top level stuffwe'll get it straightened out maybe maybe I hit's exactly wrong maybe it's a YOLO frame we got YOLO props
[03:12:14] maybe we got a YOLO frame now super light I I can't believe how light this is I think we can I I I we might be able to get a build down to 15 gram with this Frame and if we can get a build
[03:12:26] down to 15 grams that'll actually help right with the durability side of things so maybe you just have to build Crazy lightweight with this we'll see no need to send me back the frame fair
[03:12:36] enough thanks for hanging Kelvin thanks for creating cool stuff and caring about it not just farting it out into the world and going good luck people this we need
[03:12:48] more we need more manufacturers that that pay attention to the people that are pounding on this stuff and get the actual feedback so love you guys be good bye bye bye bye bye bye bye I'm not
[03:12:58] ready here's a little bit more tiny whooping from Rampage see you guys Wednesday still not ready here go bye oh here's the 75mm rig actually with walks now from Rampage later
[03:13:20] friends a
