[00:01:18] hey friends my name is Aaron Ciotti and of course I forgot to do something everybody calls me Ciotti seti the forgetful there we go and there there we go welcome to the show it
[00:01:32] is Sunday let's do some today day together while learning and hanging out and having fun that was a gig from this morning and it was great greatest group of people ever man every single Pride
[00:01:52] event it's just it's not about it's just about love man I know that's like the most cliche thing ever but it's really is it's just a whole bunch of people getting together and
[00:02:04] celebrating life in a very cool way and I love it and it's awesome and I'm super lucky to get to be involved in it so that was way fun what's happening
[00:02:19] Chad who was first Curtis Hayes was first Kevin Sumer Frank Nicholas big whoop FPV Steven Woodruff painy Cole Powers valua Zero taste hockey rounds Bob Bruce kajas Mac FPV rocket Tech
[00:02:32] Northern Tier Scotty Scott FPV your world Robert G Scotty Scott again slow cow Blaze gal ninja monkey there three there's three names in a row just I don't know just makes me
[00:02:45] giggle slow cow Blaze gab ninja monkey only an FPV man Curtis Hayes FPV your world Yim crom Alex K Kevin Sumer Douglas otwell free lojo Dan the terrible Tony Morgan hockey

[00:03:30] n u d l better not be something dirty what is there really not like an easy transition whatever I'm going to assume that it's that it's something awful and that makes me happy hockey RS with a $2
[00:03:45] Super Chat he says Super Chat thank you hockey rounds he confirmed that it's a Super Chat if you want to talk directly to me all you got to do is type cfpv into chat when you do that it lights up an
[00:03:57] orange like this you don't have to put an at in front of it but you can if you'd like you can do it with each other type somebody else's name spell it right put the spaces in the right places and
[00:04:05] for that person their name will light up an orange and they'll notice your comment and they'll read it and then you guys can talk to each other so type people's namespainy says loving
[00:04:15] these streams converted more and more to a whoop guy from a 5-in flyer these streams are the perfect side content while driving or working on the fleet keep it up thank you dude very cool
[00:04:27] always trying to show people the light I I still man I I I'm constantly Blown Away by how many people I run into that only fly five in rigs it's just wild to me it's just so much
[00:04:42] work it's so much more work so I went out so I I I I haven't touched a 5inch rig I hadn't touched a five intrig since Rampage of last year so we're talking a year and a month ago I just
[00:04:58] didn't touch them it was all tiny whoops and some micros here and there but mainly tiny whoops from ail May of 2023 until about April or so of 2024 this year and then Maggie took me for a
[00:05:17] little birthday trip up to the highest point in Georgia and I decided to bring the Razer back to just kind of float around in the mountain in the in the Treetops whatever
[00:05:28] and so charge all the batteries bring it out things flying really weird antenna's not working for some reason weird electrical noise issue fine whatever got a little bit of footage
[00:05:40] chop that footage up and it's on patreon it's only ever going to be a patreon edit quite honestly it's just not quite good enough for me to put on the main channel the the the the edits of my
[00:05:53] flying that I actually put live or whatever for for for everyone to see those are only ones that like in my mind are like a nine or 10 out of 10 like absolutely the the best possible
[00:06:08] flying that I've done at the moment and the best editing that I can possibly do to make something that is hopefully watchable for more than 10 seconds and this is just not quite good enough I
[00:06:21] didn't have for range I had like aw I I think there was basically no antenna I think the antenna was unplugged on the quad and the rig I was having to fly around these weird like vibration
[00:06:35] electrical noise issues and so you patrons get to check it out there's a great song on it and some of the footage is totally fine but it's just it's just not quite up to
[00:06:44] my impossible standards but if you want access to that edit and any other edits go over to C fv.com and join my patreon you'll get a link to this YouTube playlist with 90 some odd like
[00:06:55] patreon only live streams unreleased stuff sketchy flying that I don't really want to be public all kinds of wildness you're also going to get a bunch of technical articles on the patreon
[00:07:05] channel itself access to two different Facebook groups that I don't really monitor anymore but they're there full access to Discord and you're going to be supporting somebody that's do
[00:07:14] doing something pretty cool here in really refining the formula of tiny whoops micros and even five int trigs I got some cool feedback for you on the on some new not new but new to me
[00:07:27] 5-in Motors the the ax super leera 255 and a half so actually I'm going to put this here so I don't forget that's what you're supporting$3 a month is 10 cents a day or tomorrow
[00:07:44] night there's a bunch of giveaways if you go from the $3 tier to the $5 tier you'll be entered into the tiny whoop and toothpick giveaway and you could win $40 $50 wor a tiny whoop stuff
[00:07:55] there's other tiers as well if you want to be entered if you want to enter to win like 3-in micro brush that's cineo Parts there's a $10 month tier if you want to be entered to win 5 in Parts
[00:08:03] there's a $20 month tier whatever your budget whatever you want to throw the dice on I got you covered join me in some fun giveaways tomorrow night 10 o'clock Eastern you don't
[00:08:13] have to be there to participate that's what's cool about patreon whichever tier you're on that gives me access to all that info and then I just dump it into the thing and then a week later you get
[00:08:23] a package in your mail with your stuff you might not even have known that you won patreon allows me to do that bunch of other cool stuff over on the website there's an Etsy store with stuff
[00:08:32] you can buy Teespring store as well Fiverr Channel where you can schedule time with me oneon-one to get access to eight years of experience being pretty technical all along the way
[00:08:43] with these things I can help you build better with better parts that don't catch on fire tune your rigs better and understand what tuning is and how to wrap your head around it and I can
[00:08:53] also help you fly better I'm a professional pilot have been for over three years the intro was a gig that I booked that that's at that gig that I flew this morning
[00:09:05] I made as much money as I used to make in almost an entire week and so that's pretty cool and I've been doing that for a long time it's gig life it's hard because it's all or
[00:09:15] nothing I I I had a big May I've got nothing for June there's not one thing scheduled for June so it's a good thing I had a big May cuz it's going to have to looking it's going
[00:09:26] to have to carry me through June but I can help you with that can help you literally fly better but I mean these sessions the half hour hour sessions like whatever you want to talk
[00:09:35] about we can talk about right like I've had guys who want to start flying professionally and they just want to hammer me with questions for half an hour or an hour on how I did it and what
[00:09:44] worked and what didn't work if if I had access to somebody if I had when I was interested in doing that if I had access to anybody willing to do that that could have saved me I don't know 20 30 hours
[00:09:56] of my life what's your time worth is is saving 20 30 hours of your life worth 40 bucks or 60 bucks damn right it is so do it or just watch the live streams I dump all of the info into
[00:10:09] these live streams if you have the time or if you can leave these on in the background you can get all that knowledge for free but not totally free hook a brother up join my patreon yo
[00:10:17] three bucks a month and you're going to love being on there and you'll get access to the community and it's great it's great it's great it's great it's great do it
[00:10:27] Curtis hay says can you dive into tiny whoop AO firmware do they all run blue jay and are impacted by the bug Kevin brought up in Discord all right so aiio when you
[00:10:45] say AO firmware that could mean either BetaFlight or BL heli did you Curtis did you maybe mean ESC firmware because then you asked about ESC stuff ctis says do they all run blue jay
[00:10:59] and are impacted by the bug Kevin brought up in Discord Kevin suner and Alien over on our Discord and I were were recently having a conversation surrounding it started with alien
[00:11:14] saying asking me if I could take a 40,000 KV rig and ramp the motors up to full in the motors tab to look at the the RPM to look at what the RP m is because he saw on a
[00:11:33] forum there are still forums apparently that there's some people doubting that the 40,000 KV 0702 we're going down a rabbit hole here friends buckle up that they're not actually 40,000 KV
[00:11:50] and my reply was I was out when he sent that with no access to be able to do that for a while so and so my reply was I get it I can maybe do that when I get home but it doesn't really ma the
[00:12:07] they're it doesn't matter if they actually hit 40,000 KV or not they make more power than the 36,000 KV the next highest KV 0 72s and so who cares what's what who cares about the number of the KV that
[00:12:25] they make they are the highest KV motor they make more than the one right below it and they make more than the ones right below them and right below them well Kevin suner then went into
[00:12:37] BetaFlight and did the test ramped him up to full and he noticed something super weird which is that basically there is a maximum rpm that BL heli can deliver and 40,000 kv0 72s are
[00:12:56] beyond that limit when there's no propeller on them that's the key part all right so technically speaking those guys in the form are right but it doesn't matter that they're right because we never run
[00:13:09] we don't fly these things like this this is why I left the propellers off in the thumbnail we don't fly these things like this this is this is just a noise maker this is what we fly we put
[00:13:23] propellers on them and so super interesting what that that we've figured this out and actually kind of helpful because what this means is that previously I thought that you could get like a set of
[00:13:42] eight Motors put four of them on the quad ramp them up to full look at the RPMs and then run the other four Motors look at the RPMs and then pick a matched set pick a match set of motors with the
[00:13:55] highest RPMs right I think I even did a live stream about that but that's not the case BL heli can't spin these things unloaded all the way up to the max you could do that test I
[00:14:08] don't remember if I don't remember how I did it on the live stream hopefully on the live stream I did it with propellers on so you could do that test with propellers on and it would be a totally
[00:14:19] valid test it's wouldn't be a perfect one toone test because when you spin these motors up with the propellers on and you're holding them they're doing more work than they normally do once
[00:14:32] these things are up in the air when you go Full Throttle it starts charging forward and then it gets a bunch of incoming air and it s it's way easier for these things to do their job when
[00:14:44] they have some incoming air and the longer you hold Full Throttle the faster the incoming air is coming in right Ethan Ethan Bayer micro motor test lab he worked
[00:15:02] with I think it was Jesse from Tiny whoop on these 07 02s from a long time ago and so all of the all of the thrust stand stuff is called Static it's a static test right
[00:15:16] the the quad the motor the propeller are being held and they can't go anywhere and so they have to take all of this not moving air and do a ton of work to accelerate it into the motor so all of
[00:15:28] these static bench tests they really stress the motor out and what they found is that with 702's if you go from like 28 to 30,000 there's barely any increase in thrust and then
[00:15:43] once you go to like 32 34 36 40 it just doesn't make more thrust that's a static test so what and then like for a while it was like well why are we going to make
[00:15:56] 32,000 KV Motors if they're not making more thrust than the thrust stand well then eventually Jesse made them and then once Pilots started flying them they could feel that yes there is a
[00:16:06] difference between 28 and 30 30 and 32 and then we went nutso after that 34 3 not 34 36 now 40 and so data is great don't get me wrong love it thrust stand produces a
[00:16:21] ton of really good data but this is a case where sometimes you have to build it and fly it for real to actually be able to see the difference or I guess you could build a wind tunnel that would
[00:16:32] be the only way to really get thrust stand data that's one to one with the way that these things actually fly would be to build a wind tunnel that you put your your test rig in and it would have
[00:16:42] to be a variable speed wind tunnel and you would have to figure out what the wind speed is hitting this thing and dial in the the motor in the Wind Tunnel creating the inflow of air right who
[00:16:54] that's a whole big thing so super interesting stuff there if you're a nerd like me I don't really remember where we were going with that oh right so Kevin actually found on Blue Jay
[00:17:11] on Blue Jay's wiki page that there is a limmit I forget I think the I think the limit was like 28,000 KV maybe or 26,000 KV in the middle 2,000s of KV is Blue Jay's limit of being able to
[00:17:27] accelerate the motor fast without a propeller on it but again it doesn't matter we don't fly this thing these things without propellers on them it's just super interesting that
[00:17:39] if you want to try to find a match set of Motors don't do it with the props off and if you're trying to prove to somebody that a 40,000 KV motor actually turns 40,000 KV you kind of can't you
[00:17:49] you would need to drive it from Bei 32 I guess maybe or or just put the voltage to it right and hook up a little RPM gun meter setup with some reflective paint but that's what Curtis I
[00:18:07] believe is is referencing deep enough rabbit hole for your friends welcome to the show that's one of the things that I love doing is learning to some
[00:18:23] extent I I I don't I don't go all the way down their Rabbit Hole like like some people do I I far enough down the rabbit hole to where we get to like like look I I almost always need to answer
[00:18:37] like the the that extra why right the pit Loop is actually just error correction and so the quad is in the air the wind hits it the error correction fights the
[00:18:55] wind why and how right a lot of people are totally okay with just finding out okay the wind hits it if you increase the P gain the error correction will push against the wind sooner it's time
[00:19:09] based the pids are time based and a lot of people can then just go Okay cool so if I need that I'll push the P gain up and that's it I need like one more level of like how like I need to understand
[00:19:23] that it's time based I don't just need to understand that when you raise the P gain it fights hard harder against or pushes harder Against the Wind I need to know like how and why it does that but
[00:19:34] then I kind of stop like once I have some level of understanding of second high and or how and why I I tend to kind of stop and that's where I think we should be I I
[00:19:48] don't I think most of most people don't go that far and they and they miss out if if you get next level down you can understand it just better enough to where you don't have to use
[00:19:59] presets you can custom do stuff when you need to cust you can custom tune stuff when you need to custom tune it when it makes sense to and then you also know enough to know when it's not worth the
[00:20:08] time to do that right I I think that's the other magical part there ax 20 well hold on we can what no let's dive into the let's dive into
[00:20:26] hell 5 in hell so I talked super briefly at the beginning of the stream about how much extra work I just I forgot I forgot how much extra work flying outside
[00:20:42] is so I had that one outing with the five intrig and then I went to I fixed a whole bunch of my stuff I realized a bunch of stuff was kind of banged up from the last time I flew it
[00:20:54] and fixed a bunch of stuff right before Rampage and went to Rampage and flew a whole bunch of it where's the memory card did I just bury it down into the no it's not
[00:21:11] in there did I not run this one what's happening where's the where am I what's happening did I run the same GoPro on on all these quads I guess I must have oh no that's right that's right
[00:21:33] that's right the side load brain brain 3D has me hey questioned my only running frontload session five mounts for long enough that I said all right I'll try the the side load Mount
[00:21:46] again I'd previously had a side load Mount and I hit an arm like this and it started spinning and it threw the session five out of it this was year this is actually two years ago at
[00:21:57] Rampage or it might have been the original Rampage and it took me a while to find the session and they're like gold right and so I stopped running the side load mounts but Brian from brain
[00:22:08] convinced me to run them again and I really like them because you can get access to the goddamn door on the the session through the side you don't have to pop the the session out I don't know
[00:22:20] why I'm taking this session out right now I guess you have to take them out to charge them but I mean I could just plug the quad in no leave it dummy leave it in there
[00:22:29] put this one back in there there we go look it I mean look how nice that is just open it take the card out close the door fix the propeller so go to Rampage with a bunch of working
[00:23:01] stuff don't break much but all the crossfires are Unbound thanks TBS as always the OSD doesn't work on this rig no idea why forgot to fix it after Rampage I'm going to try to remember to fix it this time
[00:23:23] flew the Wasps they were crazy that was my flight test of the r and power 22 and2 22.6 x 6.5 186 KV wasp Majors which made hu huge power way too much way way way too much power speaking of
[00:23:46] here's here's some of the I I've begun cutting up the so Rampage s on an email they saidif you got flight footage from from Rampage we're doing an edit feel free to send it
[00:23:58] to us and maybe we'll use it in the edit and so I said challenge accepted and I I cut up 46 minutes of footage send it to them it might be a little bit less than that but I sent
[00:24:10] them a huge chunk of footage there's going to be a patreon only Cutting Room floor raw footage series of posts coming with the with some of this stuff here but for now I can just let
[00:24:28] some of play because it's I I had some moments of this will be the intro to the actual edit talking about like the true FPV experience of just nothing works
[00:24:41] there's going to be like an edit that I put up on on YouTube for everybody to see with with this stuff but the patrons are going to get as they always get not always but I try to often
[00:24:52] give them like behind the scenes stuff but this is some of the 5-in flying with these wasp major M Motors so go to Rampage fly a bunch very fun I was kind of backed off
[00:25:06] just sort of having fun nothing really to prove which was it really nice I tend to push way too hard and Destroy way too much stuff as I found out I think it's like spot
[00:25:18] dependent this this spot here you don't have to go that crazy like the the the everything is crazy here so just try not to hit's and your footage looks amazing yesterday morning I joined a bunch
[00:25:32] of the local guys at Cisco my least favorite spot in all of Atlanta and just smashed the living hell out of everything it's the the worst the the more boring the spot the more
[00:25:46] impossible I like like I try to do things and yesterday was just such a reminder of how much work 5 in is and it's just like you're always replacing a propeller you're always
[00:26:01] bending a propeller straight it's always like there's just always something going on I've become so incredibly spoiled with tiny whoops and just like for the most part them being infinitely durable
[00:26:17] you never really have to change propellers battery changes are quick and easy you're flying like alone not with other people waiting for is this guy on digital is this guy on
[00:26:27] analog it's just a whole thing man like in in terms of just getting batteries in and just enjoying flying don't get me wrong this is like a different adrenaline rush and there's
[00:26:40] like I might kill someone if I hit him in the face full speed by accident with one of these and it's you're shrinking the world around you which is super fun right like
[00:26:50] you you feel like Spider-Man slinging webs and because like how else could you cover this 50ft gap between a three story rebuilding and whatever but like
[00:27:02] what's funny about tiny whoops is that they like 5 in and it's shrinks the world tiny whoops blow up the world you become like a fruit fly or something in your house like so
[00:27:18] this makes you feel like like Superman in that like way tiny whoops make you feel like a little little Buzzy insect which is I don't know just as kind of amazing I think
[00:27:28] just in a different way but I it's struck me yesterday morning it's just it's so much work it's so much work to fly big sketchy spots like this it's so much
[00:27:39] more work to fly 5-in rigs and it totally makes sense why I just like kind of stopped flying them for for a little while here but what's interesting is I took enough time off where I'm having
[00:27:54] a blast like flying here at Rampage was was an absolute riot yesterday morning at Cisco with the guys was very fun so I'm a lucky dude expect more 5 in Flight footage
[00:28:09] in in this year next year whatever I don't want to just like Drop it like I did it's disgraceful that I just completely didn't fly 5 in for so long like that's not great so
[00:28:21] I'm not going to do that again but what is also cool is that I am way better tiny whooping six plus batteries a day every day has made me a much much much better pilot and flying
[00:28:36] the 5-in rig it feels like super in control like with with the tiny whoops and Acro inside the house like you got to be on it all the time like you you got to train your brain to work faster
[00:28:49] and then flying this it was like oh cool I can chill a little bit like things are happening a little bit slower and so I'm a noticeably better now than I was which is
[00:29:00] great even though there is a massive adjustment like when I fly 5 in that crash makes no sense at all that's just me not being adjusted to the to this rig to this size this
[00:29:12] weight this amount of Slidin and momentum carrying speaking of momentum carrying this is an FPV cycle Glide frame with the ax 255 a half Motors that make just enough power for me we've been talking
[00:29:37] about this I keep going smaller and smaller and smaller with motor sizes and lighter with motors because I don't like a ton of power on my 5-in rigs like I'm happy with like 8 to1 power to
[00:29:50] weight ratio 9 to1 power to weight ratio it gives you better throttle resolution and I just don't need the extra power like there's never a situation where I hit the ground because I didn't have
[00:29:59] enough power I hit the ground because I didn't get on the throttle a 16th of a second early enough and so these motors are really lightweight and I never weighed this thing on stream
[00:30:12] before it is 423 gram dry and then the batteries that I run are tattoo rline version one 6s 10 50s and I can get 5 minutes up in the air with these cuz the rig is light and with
[00:30:33] the battery and this is on also 4.9 in propellers 4930 4934s gem fans with the battery 5938 gram so 594 gram 5 in rig in 224 How You Like Me Now although I have a lot of
[00:30:58] components from 2022 2021 2020 mainly the the session five but you don't have to the 5 in freestyle does not have to be 700 plus grams there's kind of no reason to be
[00:31:15] that heavy unless you like the throw unless you need the extra throw come on come on now plenty of throw 600 gram off throttle if you give it a nice throttle blast
[00:31:38] beforehand has plenty of throw come on now come on build lighter my friends build lighter and so I flew this yesterday and the memory card is in the computer one of the things I wanted to
[00:31:54] do was show you the footage while I talked about that but instead I let the wasp major footage run because I wasn't paying attention so that should be this
[00:32:10] right so that should be this this is the this is the first time I flew those 255 and a half Motors and I have them at 100% they are 1860 KV 1960 KV got I can't read
[00:32:30] it 1950 KV 1950 KV 2305 and a half 24 gram Motors unbelievably lightweight just understand that I run very low feed forward so that I get like a really smooth kind of attack but every once in
[00:32:51] a while it'll it'll really rotate and you'll be able to see it's just with with the the motor so light it just like stops there's so little momentum on the the pitch and roll axis and the all axis
[00:33:05] too it just gives it this incredible feel it just it it's a way of reducing latency right like the less weight on the ends of the arms the the less work the motor is going to have to
[00:33:18] do to move the damn thing and so you can run more powerful Motors to try and reduce that latency or that delay by sort of a brute force method or in my case I I I
[00:33:35] don't want to run heavier Motors and then not use all the power that those Motors make so I've chosen to go the other way and lighten it up as much as possible and find the smallest motor I
[00:33:45] can that will be as light as possible on the ends of the arms cuz there's other benefits to having the arms be light and the quad be light right crash is better
[00:33:56] I mean you guys know Ju Just weight on the ends of the arms has to do the most possible work because every single thing that you do pitch roll y'all moves that weight right so why
[00:34:10] carry around extra weight on the ends of the arms if you don't need to the answer to that is response time you I I I don't know that if you what I can say is if you put these motors on a Thrust
[00:34:25] stand these will not have as good of a response time as like a 2207 for example but what the thrust stand doesn't show like what we were talking about earlier is what's going to
[00:34:40] actually happen in the air and I actually don't know I don't know the answer to the question of would 227s lightweight 227s like the 533 would
[00:34:53] they land me with a platform here that now I would have to throttle limit them down because I don't want all the power that a 2207 makes would those would the response time in the air be better I
[00:35:08] guess we could we we we could test this now that now that RPM data is coming through in in the blackbox files we could actually test that at some point I don't have a rig on
[00:35:25] 227s and I probably won't build a rig on 227s maybe I will you never know but at some point I guess I'll have to do that take this 255 rig log it and then take a 2207 rig same frame
[00:35:45] same everything log that and then we'll we will be able to look at the response time difference between the two there's a chance that the rigon 227s will have a quicker response response
[00:35:57] time there is a chance that more power beats less weight and Endor 2207 is just the perfectly optimized motor size but I like how this flies I I I I wouldn't necessarily want to add
[00:36:18] weight to this rig it wouldn't be that much weight but I don't know anybody still follow me I'm pretty deep in the weeds again we're we're we're going all the way in there today
[00:36:30] if you don't understand this watch this again in a month or two or just watch it again in a week each time you you listen to this you'll pick up a little bit more of it and and
[00:36:45] eventually you'll be able to follow me through that hole down that rabbit hole that we just went I really like the motors I really like having a motor that I can run at
[00:36:59] 100% it just it's been B the the F40 Pro 4S are still my favorite motor I think they're the the best maybe the best middle ground unfortunately they're discontinued everywhere other than
[00:37:12] t-motor website but they're they're a 29 28 mid to high 28 gram 2306 they're like the lightest weight 2306 that doesn't cost $30 but they're hard to get now you have you can
[00:37:31] only get them from team's website which is annoying and I don't even know I I have a funny feeling that if you try to order them from te- motor's website it'll show out of stock I'm not
[00:37:41] really sure about that but so it's nice what one of the reasons why I really wanted to try these motors see that see that see how it just slid into the wall there that's what
[00:37:55] that's me having a hard time adjusting to 5 in that momentum the tiny whoops have spoiled me on a lack of momentum when you change directions I wanted to have a motor that
[00:38:12] that I could recommend to you guys that's not discontinued right so if you guys want are are looking to build a 5-in rig this is the formula in my opinion FPV fpv cycle Glide one
[00:38:24] the old school one 20 2305 and a halfs from Ax 6s whatever stack you want and Away you go session five they're finally coming down in price on
[00:38:41] eBay tattoo rline version one 6cs 1050s free lojo droing the cv.com link thank you dude rockcrawler says I'm way behind on chat here we go that's not what he said that's what I'm saying he
[00:38:54] just said uh hockey RS thanks again for the $2 Super Chat Denzel the terrible says Google translate from German the one noodle nice Denzel also says what is that big Ciotti red and white pill sign on
[00:39:06] the top shelf that was sent to me by brain 3D they are doing laser lasers they're doing lasers friends they're doing laser cutting and Brian sent me that and it's
[00:39:25] awesome for some reason it's like weird in Shade last live stream it was it was like lit up nice and bright where's this shade coming from oh it's coming from this lamp down
[00:39:39] here well what the hell hold on it looks terrible that'll help that'll help that'll help that should be a little bit better no still kind of there I got to get the oh that
[00:40:01] definitely helped that definitely helped I don't know if that's where it's going to stay it's probably not where it's going to stay especially with it maybe although maybe I can just bump it
[00:40:11] up maybe maybe I put it here right that'll get it out of the that'll get it out of the Shadows but I hate to put a hole in this in this red wall so maybe I put it there right that
[00:40:26] gets it out of those Shadows doesn't it not quite almost I don't know I'll figure it out but massive thank you to brain 3D for sending that it's so cool move this back a little bit that'll
[00:40:40] not help at all okay he also sent me this which is just insane it's a piece of artwork that somebody made of me many many years ago that he burned on wood look at thatso
[00:41:01] cool cool stuff man affiliate link to bra tons of affiliate links over on my website cv.com use them before you order stuff replace your bookmarks with my affiliate links then you don't have
[00:41:12] to worry about it's free moneyI have an affiliate link on to brain 3D over on my website click it or else I'll die Captain Calgary says fly lens 85 has 103 Motors would 123s be too much for
[00:41:32] the props and AIO I can't possibly imagine it we are running five amp tiny whoop aios on 33,000 KV 802s with 1.6 in props 102s esc's nowadays are criminally over FedEd and so if it catches on
[00:42:01] fire it's not because of the amp rating it's because it's just we're buying stuff from the lowest bids and we demand our stuff to be cheap because we smash it so often so
[00:42:14] you can you can safely do that almost guaranteed minnos 133 says what size whoop can best handle the WalkSnail system I mean the the real answer to that is is as big like the
[00:42:28] bigger the better but the the more nuanced answer to that is that if you want to fly walks it's the same as analog if you want to fly inside 65 if you want to fly outside with a little
[00:42:42] tiny bit of inside 75 but mainly outside and then if you want to fly outside but go really fast 85 or toothpick is is a better option at that point 2 inch or 2 and a half inch toothpick style
[00:42:58] quad no ducts if you want to go fast that's about it 85 doesn't get a lot of love because like at that point you kind of might as well get the prop guards off and just do a a
[00:43:12] toothpick build but there are you can do an 885mm tiny whooop build for a little bit more speed than 75 but 75 is cool because like in a pinch or in a big indoor space you can use it I still don't like
[00:43:29] it as much as 65 even in big indoor spaces but there you go my name means the one and only noodle in German don't ask me why nice Curtis Hayes says yes tiny whoop esc's which are usually AO Okay cool so
[00:43:46] I answered that question properly eion with a 4 pound I want to say Super Chat thank you so much he says cfpv question there we go make sure you spell for for the record when you spell
[00:44:01] it cot TTY y it doesn't light up an orange because that's not the right spelling so make make sure you in the future it's just C IO TTI and then it will light up on orange but
[00:44:11] since you did a Super Chat because you're awesome I saw it because it's right next to it 1404 6000 KV but 2S rated that's okay can I use them on 4S absolutely and motor limit them down on
[00:44:23] a 2.5 inch you don't even have to motor limit them down is the voltage or the RPM the limit there it is you got there great sequence of events that you walked that chat comment down
[00:44:42] when they 2S rate a motor or 3s rate a motor or 4S a lot of times that's pretty much always that's just them saying if you want this kind of RPM you probably want it on 2S because most
[00:45:01] people use these motors on XY or z a 1404 is like a toothpick SL School Bus style 3-in rig motor and 6,000 KV I would more say that that's 3s rated but like the motor spins that's it the there
[00:45:21] like there's no reason that you can't run that 1404 6000 on 4S I would still motor limit's down a little bit 2.5 in by blades you'd probably be fine but motor limit's down
[00:45:40] just to make sure that it's not completely insane and then you can creep it up so motor limit's to like 70% fly it and then you can open up to 80 or 90 I don't know if I would
[00:45:51] necessarily go beyond 90 the them making those ratings is also surrounding like how H the motor is going to get but that's completely dependent upon the propeller that you're going to run so
[00:46:02] like I would love a set of 144s that are like 5,000 KV but 4600 is close enough to t- Motors if you run that 1404 6000 KV on 4S on like a 2 and a half inch byblade that propeller is like
[00:46:19] very wispy and it's not going to load that motor up very much to make much heat and so you can have like a great big motor and then a really lightweight prop and get crazy response
[00:46:31] time but then also get a good amount of power I wish all Motors were like 500 to 1,000 KV higher and then we could motor limit them all down so there's the the full answer that
[00:46:43] question Kevin T says my next test is to do it with t-motor 13 amp AO which has bl32 which can in theory go over 83,000 RPM that's the number that's right thank you for the reminder BL heli
[00:46:56] s/l J 83,000 RPM is the limit of the software and 40,000 KV Motors on 1 S turn significantly more than 83,000 RPM so in an unloaded State that's why the motors RPM tab is is
[00:47:18] useless for these motors but again we don't fly them without props on Curtis Hayes says Chris rosters tests KV by driving a motor with 10vt and multiplying out he puts a he
[00:47:30] physically he physically tests the RPM he puts a mark on the motor and then he has a little RPM meter that gives the actual RPM rather than just reading it back from the ESC Walter says
[00:47:43] everybody has his specialism has their specialism and we are a team we are indeed we are the collective godamn it kazzy's in the house what's up homie I'm looking forward to watching the
[00:47:55] video that you put up yesterday I think it was I saw the thumbnail and clicked on it to get it into my previously watched I'm going to check it out tonight when I
[00:48:05] have a little bit of time I'm excited Curtis Hayes says the the the the the tank video Curtis hay says your outdoor rip at Rampage was awesome wall riding Etc thank you dude there's all kinds of
[00:48:15] stuff on that wall so it's just so much fun to just like surfboard up on that wall not surfboard skateboard up on that wall and then it's just like a giant halfpipe there and I just get
[00:48:25] such a kick out of riding that P Richard Scott's in the house as well what's up homie Zero taste FV says I'm late to the stream watching the non-live part on two 2 x speed I was the guy who
[00:48:36] asked you about the Forum stuff there we go very cool Zero taste Zero taste you have a completely different name over on Discord don't you P Scott says about to get this fund paid
[00:48:47] off C PayPal oh P Richard Scott with a $65 PayPal holy hell he says motor fund completion rad dude thank you they're great look at that you finish up the fund and you
[00:49:03] get feedback on them that's how it works I wouldn't have told you guys about these motors if I didn't know that Patrick was going to do that there it is thank you brother I
[00:49:17] hope I did that math right I'm just assuming thank you so much homie next fund is what what are we testing next friends let me know is it the 533 Motors is that the logical next
[00:49:31] test man that would be kind of nice so this is the lightest weight 2207 that there is I've got the lightest weight Motors on here with these aax 2305 a half 1950s I've got the lightest motor in
[00:49:48] here that I can stand and then I've got another rig with the 236s so we can test 2305 and a half versus 2306 versus 2207 I will motor limit the motors down to the point where I like them like
[00:50:08] roughly the same power between all three builds and then I can log all three of them and we can look at the actual response time and we can see in the air not on the thrust stand
[00:50:23] where do you get the best response time the lightest possible motor that you can run at 100% somewhere in the middle with the F40 Pro 4S 236s or Mega powerful motor that's heavier
[00:50:39] than the other three but still this is me testing like the lightest weight Motors in each one of these like Steps up in each one of these motor sizes which is what makes the the
[00:50:49] thought of this test like pretty exciting in my pants I'm very aroused I'm channeling my my best Anchor Man that I can with that one is that what you guys want light the
[00:51:09] chat up if if the next fund needs to be the 533 2207 1960 KV murders and we can also test it both ways we can test it with all of the rigs at 100% but I'm really interested to
[00:51:27] test it with the bigger Motors limited down because I don't want that extra power like what I'm curious I'm pretty sure that with all three of these motors at 100% the 2207 is a win
[00:51:42] but I wouldn't do that right this is like the ideal setup at 100% as I go bigger on the motors I need to pull them down to get them under control but technically I could stop doing that
[00:52:00] with motor limiting and start doing it with a it would be more it would make more sense to do it with the throttle limit what would probably make the most sense is the
[00:52:09] 227s motor limited to 100% give the pit Loop all access to all the power and then I throttle limit's down either in the rates tab or on the transmitter to the amount of power that I want or with
[00:52:23] my knob I can do it with the knob on the on the controller I have that set up that would probably make the most sense but lighter does give a specific feel and I like the feel of this with the
[00:52:37] lighter Motors I I I it's we're going to do that test though because I'm very curious to the feel could totally be Placebo it could absolutely be that I don't
[00:52:52] think it is but let's find out that's what you guys want that's what we'll change the gear fun too oh that's exactly what you want okay great we'll change the gear fund thanks
[00:53:05] guys 533 2207 what's the KV 1960 oh well there it is I'm going to assume that these are roughly 125 as well Patrick thank you so much brother Mega supporter as always cannot
[00:53:32] wait to get back over to your house once you're totally Corona virus free and blast around those trees again that was the other 5-in rip that I had I knew I was missing one I flew the 5-
[00:53:46] in rigs at Patrick's house which was a total blast and I cannot wait to go back and just absolutely rail the coolest yard ever ever all right there we go YouTube's the thing
[00:54:09] scrolling up BL BL says whoops are like Angry mosquitoes they are indeed they are indeed the angriest mosquitoes legs a Jimbo says feel free to ignore if it's going off topic if you can only
[00:54:23] choose one quad to fly for the rest of your life what would you choose 65mm tiny whoop I think because you can fly inside and there's probably going to be a point where flying drones outside is
[00:54:35] not allowed I hate to be the bear of bad news but like can you not see the writing on the wall it's super sad but it has to be a 65 mil tiny whoop it just does it
[00:54:49] is the most versatile flying aircraft that we've ever had an FPV I know that sounds wild but in terms of like us flying a 65 mil whoop is is going to give you the chance to fly more straight
[00:55:07] up it's raining outside oh I can still rail it's fully illegal to fly drones outside y I'm fine you could make an argument for 75 in that it's a little bit more competent outside but it's
[00:55:21] nowhere near as competent inside and that's the problem like a 75 rig is better outside and at a jungle gym in some ways not all the ways a 65 is better inside in all the
[00:55:39] ways so it's skewed there but it would be a 65 mil rig for sure YouTube just did the thing again God damn you Elias says I'm off too scared to Turtle because I don't
[00:55:58] know if the motors can safely spin without burning a motor ESC at which point do you start walking do you get your quet G great question great questn great question
[00:56:10] Elias just don't bang the sticks bro the turtle mode has a Hu Turtle mode has a huge Dead Zone I don't have a transmitter I'm going to need a transmitter because we're flying today
[00:56:28] so I might as well grab it Turtle mode has a gigantic Dead Zone I wish it didn't but like with Turtle mode you can move this thumb stick much and it doesn't do anything but then about
[00:56:41] half the way the on on the way out of the travel it starts at 1% and so what you want to do is use your ears and just your intuition and just very gently go in each corner cuz you
[00:56:56] only want to fire up one motor at a time and you really only need one motor to Turtle M it over so just nice and gentle you'll hit the point where it's 1% 2% 3% and sometimes you can see the propellers
[00:57:09] and you'll see if they're spinning or if they're if they're blocked on something you can also hear it right so use your ears and also use the fact that it's moving a little bit like even if you
[00:57:20] just spin it up a little bit you should get a little bit of movement in the quad if they're not blocked and you got four of them so try each one of them maybe push a little bit harder into it if it's
[00:57:29] still not obvious and then you'll know you'll know if it's Turtle modable if you need to start walking but there's no reason with Turtle mode unless you're in a hurry which is
[00:57:38] usually why I do it like this but there's no reason to always just bang the sticks and give it 100% that's when when problems can happen although you I mean you can you can do that and as
[00:57:51] long as you're quick as long as you go to 100% really quickly it doesn't really hurt it typically there's there's a big potential for it to hurt it because when the motors are
[00:58:01] blocked they that's when they eat up the most amps and get really hot so it's better to ease into it a little bit but couple different ways to kind of look at
[00:58:16] that cool great question man great great great great great question Zero taste says 2305 not 255 for some reason I keep saying 255 A2 they're not 2552 they're 2305 A2 they're 23 gram Motors
[00:58:32] they're not 33 gram 255s would be they'd be about 30 grams 33 grams rather Brent Anderson says exposing my NB noobness how are Motors soldered three wire order pad locations hot and ground
[00:58:49] they're not the the motors are do this wacky phase and it doesn't matter you can put any of the three wires on any of the three pads by it's does change the way the direction
[00:59:02] that the motor rotates but you're going to fix that in BetaFlight or blh so doesn't matter the the three motor wires you can put them on any three of the ESC pads or race wire pads
[00:59:14] or whatever you can braid them you can run them straight whatever you want I I recommend running them straight but that's just me Kevin Su says 3M command strip hooks for the pill sign that's how I
[00:59:25] would do it's if if I were to put it up there I would certainly do it with maybe not I don't have a I don't have a I put two holes in it for for this thing I would be putting a whole
[00:59:38] absolutely dead center which I'm kind of okay with just one single Brad nail hole it just feels weird because it's just such a bright ketchup red color but it having like one hold one
[00:59:51] small Brad nail hole dead center would not be the end of the world I don't the that 3M command stuff scares me I've seen that rip paint right off the wall before so I think I would actually
[01:00:01] rather put a small hole than than do that I I I have a feeling that's what I'll end up doing I'll have a feeling I'm GNA end up putting it up here because it looked pretty good
[01:00:09] there CIS says what's up gang watching the stream at the lake while flying chasing boat tubing doesn't get much better chasing over water is awesome it really is chasing boats and tubers
[01:00:20] and stuff is incredibly fun super super nerve-wracking but very very very fun don't take a rig out over the water that that hasn't like had at least 10 batteries or 20 batteries in a row
[01:00:31] where it hasn't fallen out of the sky for no reason Alexander Los Hugh says I run 6,000 KV 1404 RC and Power on 3-in GemFan byblade 1.8 pitch no motor or throttle limit there you go friends
[01:00:42] 6,000 k404s even though they'll say like 2S or 3s only they really aren't you can create lots of lots of RPM with these motors crom says just flew my new 50 gram 2S 75 WalkSnail build today
[01:01:00] it's super powerful more Punchy Than A M 6 for sure can't wait to see that fly you fly that spec I've got a 2S WalkSnail 75mm rig in a bag waiting to go we got to do it one of
[01:01:14] these days it's got to be a whoop Wednesday though so maybe this week no promises but maybe this week ch3 says do a poll for the next fund too late it's already there
[01:01:29] Zero taste FV says my Discord name is Zero taste guy here at Zero taste FV no worries though okay gotcha I a lot of you guys have two names and sometimes I can I can guess if if you've
[01:01:39] got multiple names I was wrong on this one Eugen says thanks I would like to use the 144s on the Proto 25 with three blade props I noticed you're saying 4600 KV is not enough 144s Super Chat and
[01:01:51] Euros oh Euros right thank you dude you'll be good for that is that what you're looking at there is a perfect example right 2.5 and then you can run three blade PL props on
[01:02:04] really high KV 404s that's why I want higher than 4600 KV 404s for the same reason although now that the sub 250 gram limit has kind of sort of been raised to 400 Gams I don't
[01:02:20] necessarily need the higher kv1 404s yet I will be running bigger Motors on my 3-in live streaming rigs in the future on 3-in props so we'll see Walter says with those High KV you can
[01:02:36] maybe use thermal camera sometimes I think it could help it definitely would help it would be very cool to Thermal camer some of this stuff tuck says got my meteor 75 Pro what should be my
[01:02:45] next quad usually fly about 10 batteries a day or more and I've been getting pretty good any suggestions I have no idea what what you have what what else you have is if if the meteor 75 Pro
[01:03:00] is your only rig my suggestion would be a really lightweight 65 mil rig for flying inside the house if you already have one of those I don't know I I would need to know your whole Fleet
[01:03:12] set up bl550 with a $10 Super Chat to start off the 533 motor fund thank you dude there It Is We're Off to the Races goddamn it thank you brother very generous of you legs of Jimbo says
[01:03:28] cheers I do agree 65mm is is incredibly inoffensive love too toothpicks but even they can draw in kons tough choice to probably go 75 to give some extra guts for hddvr it's tough it's tough between
[01:03:41] the two but I I I stand by 65 mainly because I have yet to see the light with 2S on 75s I hope that I do see the light but I I at the moment I I just don't know and being able to fly hard
[01:03:59] inside is is pretty rad rocket Tech with a $10 Super Chat for the 533 fund the possible future illegality of flying outside I agree my whoop goggle Choice seems very important have DJI and
[01:04:11] looking at skyone 04 Pro should I consider fat shark hd0 I have a really rocket Tech thank you for the support I have a really hard time recommending analog goggles that are
[01:04:23] not used you can get used fat shark HD3 or hdos or HD o2s for an awful lot less money than these new goggles and the resale value will be pretty much the same right you buy a used set of fat
[01:04:38] sharks today you sell it two years from now for when when an analog goggle comes out that actually is like a lot better you can sell these fat sharks for pretty much exactly what you've bought them for
[01:04:49] versus you buy a brand new set of skyone 04 pros and when you go to sell them you're going to get a lot less money than when you paid for them new right so I have a really hard time like I said
[01:05:01] recommending anything other than used fat sharks some of the some the Sky Zones are great goggles don't get me wrong and they're probably going to have slightly better DVR
[01:05:12] but I don't know it's really tough the HD zero goggles have the the best DVR but they seem to not have the best signal strength with rapid fire which is kind of weird and I still do need to
[01:05:27] test I don't know there's some there there's some gray area in there but what's not a gray area is that you can buy a used set of fat sharks today and then sell them in a year or two for what
[01:05:41] they paid for them at some point the ultimate goggle will come out that like for you like a WalkSnail goggle that you can also run analog on if you're a WalkSnail fan we already have an HD
[01:05:53] zero goggle that you can run analog on on so if you're an hd0 person you already have the the perfect goggle but at some point the perfect goggle for you will come out and if
[01:06:05] you've spent $400 on a set of skyone analog goggles you're going to be pissed whereas if you spent 200 bucks on a set of fast start HD3 you can Hawk them use that money to go right in and you
[01:06:17] basically rented a set of goggles for a little while that's the way I look at it Elias says you said you'd choose the 65mm class this is on analog then right is there an indoor Ripper with walk
[01:06:33] snail because I think it's too heavy for 65 millim what a wonderful segue into today's live stream I spent an awful lot of time building WalkSnail tiny whoops over the
[01:06:49] last 6 months let's say and I've learned a lot there's been ups there's been Downs everything that I've been doing has been focused on 1S and so the last little bit of testing is going to be on
[01:07:06] 2s and we're going to get there but here's what I can tell you if you want to stay 1S it's 65 1S on on 75 MIM rigs by the time you get enough power and runtime and lightweight with walk
[01:07:31] snail you're going to be at a minute and 50 seconds maybe 2 minutes if you're lucky of runtime on a 655mm rig you can get that exact run time maybe less if if I can get my hands on some more of
[01:07:47] these newbie drone light AF frames in white which is proving to be way more durable than black and if this continu to be durable we are going to fly it today in a little bit
[01:07:59] then I can make this thing even lighter to potentially get us to the two-minute Mark typically I I get like a minute and 50 a minute and 55 out of this and then I also have this one which I
[01:08:12] chased the little RC drift cars with and I meant to one of the things I wanted to do is pull the footage off this so for the rest of the live stream we're going to mainly be
[01:08:21] talking about WalkSnail on 65mm rigs how cool it is what to do with it what not to do with it and so ready go hold on let me get this gangly fan plugged in there will be another gangly fan on
[01:08:42] the giveaways tomorrow night which will be very cool look at that look how fancy that looks and I just use a 3s goggle battery and it just blows my tit's literally literally blows my tits off cuz it's
[01:08:58] it's blowing down the desk onto my boobies I chased the RC drift cars with this the other day and I haven't had a chance to pull the footage off of it I don't think maybe I did wait a
[01:09:10] second I think I actually might have gangly man loses mind live on stream let's see pop up right here come on get in there there it is are there files on here there are files on here
[01:09:33] all right hold on hold on I got to make a I G make another folder 2024 I know here it is oh oh oh These are from the goggles these are from the goggles okay so we got these oh man I
[01:09:49] forgot to hit stop on two of these files that sucks all right so we'll pull those off of there and then the other thing I need to do is get the motor Direction set on this
[01:10:01] one this is the this was the second 75mm WalkSnail rig that I've been using for testing I'm done with the 1S testing of WalkSnail on 75 and I don't need two of them set up I'd rather
[01:10:18] have a 65 as well so this guy this is a working AIO in VTX dropped it into this 60 65mm frame with 40,000 KV 0702 so WalkSnail on 65mm rigs with 1S a lot of it is about saving weight
[01:10:42] the WalkSnail system is heavy you need to save weight everywhere and anywhere you possibly can to make up for how heavy it is luckily we've got extremely high KV extremely efficient 0
[01:10:57] 72s and they just kick ass the problem is Browning the VTX out running 36,000 KV 40,000 KV 0702 if you go full throttle and leave it there for like three4 to a full
[01:11:17] second it will Brown out the VTX and you will lose video your rig will still be in the air it'll still be flying but you will lose video in the goggles it is horrifying put horizon or angle mode
[01:11:29] on a switch and then when that happens you flip that you add a little bit of throttle and you just hover somewhere that that's what happened to me and it was fine the the digital came back on
[01:11:40] after I don't know 15 seconds and there was the rig just hovering it was pretty high but it was still hanging out waiting for me all right hold on it's getting it's getting real
[01:11:52] hot so let me come in here and where's the where's the where is it here it is come in here and delete these real quick and okay all right those are deleted yep good get this out of here pull the
[01:12:14] battery and we can turn off the gangest of all the fans there we go cool RC drift's car racing rig is emptied out this guy right here let's really quickly set the motor Direction so this this this and
[01:12:35] that and then we've got motor one is props out what do I have this set up for props out I'm going to start moving these things to props in so I don't think you need to do this in this order
[01:12:46] but I'm just going to do that and then this and then I'm going to start running a lot of tiny whoops props in to see if I'm going to get used to props in and then I'm going to go back to props out
[01:13:00] and see if I can notice a difference but in theory props in on C whoops props in helps with diving quite a bit so now on these on these rigs where I've figured out the the
[01:13:18] paint markings on the motors I'm going to have to reverse all the motors for until I switch them let me also check check the health of these motors motor number two is fine how I do that
[01:13:29] is when the motors are spinning I just put my fingernail against the side of the motor shaft and if it's bent you'll feel it and if it's true you won't and so motor number two feels great motor
[01:13:39] number one feels great motor number three is not great at all it's not that bad I don't think but motor number three is is bent for sure it's not bent that bad but I don't know we'll see one of
[01:13:57] the problems with all of these smaller rigs with WalkSnail is jello and so if this thing has Jello we might need to screw around with that but this is the freestyle build which is going to get
[01:14:09] the hell beaten out of it so maybe it's tough man like you want to have fun and fly but then you got to be careful of jello ruining your footage so if you've got a
[01:14:24] cinematic rig not to crash it hard because you'll bend the the motor shafts so for me WalkSnail makes a lot of sense on 65 because you're going to get that same minute and 5sec run time so why not
[01:14:40] get that same runtime with a rig that you can fly in in in the house which is super super super fun oh man I don't have much footage that that one file that I just had on was like a 1 second
[01:14:54] flight f file but so this is the little RC drift car chasing WalkSnail 75mm rig and it flies awesome I mean the the analog rigs are six full grams lighter which makes a huge difference
[01:15:10] but the footage out of this is just insane and it's in 60 frames per second because this is the footage off the camera off the off the DVR off the VTX and so you can slow this down to
[01:15:21] half speed and not lose 30 frames a second which is just insane this is 1080 60 frame per second footage from a video system that weighs six grams and transmits that signal to the
[01:15:39] Moon so technological insanity but all right what so these are 10,000 KV Motors so I'm certainly going to be putting Tri blades I'm sorry Jesus by blades
[01:15:57] on where's the thing with the things here's the thing with the things what you cannot expect from a WalkSnail 65mm rig is Full Tilt pants on fire raging boner freestyle hardcore freestyle inside the
[01:16:22] house it's just too heavy we're going to do that in a minute and you're going to get to see I've I've spent a decent amount of time trying to figure out how to fly this heavy of a
[01:16:36] rig freestyle inside the house the the the the other issue is the latency I can absolutely tell a difference in latency between analog and walk
[01:16:52] snail I I think that has a lot to do with how just quickly things happen when you're flying inside the house like your pacing has to really speed up and so much like how Racers are really
[01:17:05] good at being able to tell latency but freestyle Pilots are not flying tiny whoop freestyle inside the house is kind of like racing in that things are happening really really really fast and
[01:17:17] and just constantly so in terms of like nailing big gnarly tricks and having like the the best possible freestyle experience inside the house wsil is never going to give you
[01:17:33] that analog always is analog is always going to be light years Beyond it just from a weight perspective right like you guys got to see in the last live stream I went from a
[01:17:46] 17.1 17.4 gram tiny whoop to 16.4 and all of a sudden like I could do no wrong wrong I was hitting every Gap I was like freaking the out it was crazy like I've never I've never flown as good as I
[01:18:01] did and this has happened a couple times now each time that we've gone from 19 to 18 grams 18 to 17 now 17 to 16 the I I start missing less stuff and I start doing gnarlier so
[01:18:16] lightweight is not everything but damn near it's really just staggering so in that vein the the lightest weight WalkSnail that you can get is going to be 65 right
[01:18:35] like this is the other reason why like I I would rather have a freestyle rig that I can like Hammer here than have one that's outside like what the the whole 75 thing I think it needs to be 2S for
[01:18:46] the extra power we'll see but I'm not super impressed with 75mm 1S WalkSnail it's more like a cop and I I can do that with this basically so I don't know I don't
[01:19:01] know I I might actually pull I I left one of the WalkSnail 1S 75mm rigs put together I might actually end up pulling it apart because I have a feeling I'm just not going to fly it and I don't
[01:19:12] keep rigs together that I'm not going to fly so there's that which feels weird because man that I try a lot of different Motors but at the moment it is still set up it is on the VCI 080
[01:19:26] 2.6s and they're they're pretty decent I got to spend some more time with it I'm going to fly it outside the out front and out back and really give it a proper chance to impress me
[01:19:41] but I don't know I've already spent a bunch of time with it why am I just sitting on the ground oh I was in the OSD I was doing something in the OSD these propellers are not fitting
[01:19:53] all that well so I'm taking making my least favorite sharp tipped tweezers putting the sharp tip into the propeller holes at a 45° angle and scraping up the inside of the plastic which raises some
[01:20:08] of the plastic and then the propeller grips on the motor shaft a little bit better just enough you don't want these propellers to fit tight on the motor shafts because you'll end up bending the
[01:20:17] motor shaft but you also don't want them to fit too Loosely usually these gem fin 1210 by blades are just about perfect that one that I just put on is perfect but sometimes I think it's
[01:20:31] what it is is if you put them on and take them off of a motor once or twice the the the inner diameter opens up a little bit and I put Motors back into into the bags after I've taken them off
[01:20:43] if they're not all chewed up so I think these ones that I pull out of here that are not quite tight enough for propellers that have been on and off Motors a couple of
[01:20:52] times but that's pretty nerdy thing to talk about tiny props are expensive for for like the amount of plastic the the plastic to dollar ratio is all wrong with tiny wo
[01:21:07] propellers and so I have a hard time just trashing every single one that I take off which is what I should do it's what we all should do propellers are pretty cheap but they're not nothing
[01:21:18] you know props in props in props in props in I chose to put this on a on the walks SN no on the Mobula 6 2024 frame because it's I think that it's going to be a more durable frame and this
[01:21:45] thing is heavy I don't know I don't know if that was the right call but I'm curious about how this Frame will do compared to my typical Cho First Choice in 65mm
[01:21:58] frame which is the the Cockroach V3 but what I'm really looking forward to doing is putting this into a light AF frame but I don't have an extra light AF frame at the moment so I'm going to have
[01:22:14] to wait for that but that's okay it's worth waiting for all right so this thing is good to go we we should fly it on this stream I I should do the six batteries on these WalkSnail
[01:22:29] rigs it would kind of be insane not to so let me plug in the hd60s plus that's going to make my computer start randomly freezing for no reason which is kind of annoying but whatever I'm actually
[01:22:42] going to stop I'm going to start leaving the damn thing out here so that I know to unplug it when I'm done flying so that the computer stops stuttering last time I forgot that this is the thing it causes
[01:22:54] the computer to stutter and for the next like four or five live streams I'm like the computer's stuttering again I thought I figured this out so all right here we go what
[01:23:10] questions do you guys have on on WalkSnail and Tiny whoops that's I I I that's about all I have think I have to say Arc UK arcs UK says WalkSnail support told me they're releasing an
[01:23:23] analog module for the goggles X I contacted them as Speedy B wouldn't work very cool that's see that's what I mean could be the god goggle for for you if you're if you're on
[01:23:32] walks snail with all the rest of your stuff rocket Tech says I was looking for v2 stumbled on a deal basically knew goggles 2 couldn't pass it up I wish I'd pass it up oh wait no that's I'm not
[01:23:42] tagged on that Elias says what about 2S 75 mimer testing soon maybe this week ebod says thoughts on the RC power 29,000 KV Motors I haven't tested them so so I have no idea but I don't
[01:23:57] think I'm going to test them it's I've tested a lot of 0702 29000 and none of them have come even remotely close to the happy models and I'm kind of tired of just testing more and
[01:24:16] more and more of these damn things for them to get stomped by the by the happy models and I I might be putting my put down and saying no more but I'm sure that'll look there
[01:24:31] the the M my main problem with them is they're not a high enough KV if they were 31,000 or 30,000 even or 32,000 I'd be all over it and I would totally test them but at 29,000 KV I'm not
[01:24:46] sure I'll say this though if you just wait like a couple of weeks I'll I'm sure that I will break down and test them at some point just being
[01:24:56] honest all right so I'm still chasing drift cars with the little Chase rig I'm going to power up this not a Chase rig this is the freestyle build and we'll see how it flies everything is set
[01:25:11] up from the 75 so I mean it should be fine but it might not be I don't know I might not like the pids that I have on there the pids are probably super aggressive that I have on there I
[01:25:23] might actually want to back them off right away but I probably won't I probably won't because why do smart things when you can do dumb things all right
[01:25:40] so hold up getting wired in here for you friends all right let's pause this and then we're going to go to OBS and we're going to go here and I think that was the sound of Els connect thing I hope
[01:25:55] it was look at that and this little guy is going to fly and it did not just go screaming into hell there we go choose a channel oh man I have this thing on 50 megabits look at me
[01:26:24] I also keep accidentally hitting record why do I not have bing bong that's why what the hell come on now give me the game capture you jerk it's got storm
[01:26:50] outside what wny no why not oh I have the HDMI plugged into the out that'll do it every time that's going to work a lot better now I might need
[01:27:11] hey okay let's hurry up and get this up in the air whoa it's 135 Celsius that's not going well oh okay hold on I think it got too hot and shut itself off there we go we're
[01:27:34] good okay here we go oh God stop it so that is being caused by the this cable between the WalkSnail goggles and the the thing wow we're going to look at the pids in a second I think the
[01:27:50] pids are really aggressive I managed to kill this whole battery though this is also the battery that I was using on the when I was spinning up the motors and whatnot but just give this a second
[01:28:02] bring it all the way down one of the ways that I I can tell to come home is you do a Quick Throttle blip and you see if it Browns out a little bit so Quick Throttle blip oh see
[01:28:11] we're fine oh God oh God why oh wow no we're fine you'll see what I mean in a minute I think the voltage scaling might be wrong on this because because usually I start to get brown
[01:28:27] outs by now okay I don't sure let's see how low the voltage will go before I start getting garbage in the video feed so I'm taking it super easy right now just cuz like this battery is done
[01:28:42] anyway what is happening why am I able to run this battery down so low all of a sudden usually I don't know it let's keep going I think the voltage scaling is off hold on there it is there it is okay
[01:29:06] so that's it look at the little the little skull icon in the bottom left corner that's pretty cool it should come back on there we go and it's gone again
[01:29:24] oh that battery is sitting at 3.3 though okay maybe the voltage scaling is not wrong I'll tell you what this the the WalkSnail VTX that's in this one appears to not brown out as early as the
[01:29:39] one in the in the little Chase rig so this is the freestyle rig that we're flying at some point here I'm going to put a battery through the chase rig but hold on let me hook this up to the
[01:29:50] battery tester and we'll see how okay it's all right rest in peace we bed FPV 1S wow I'm you'll see I'll show you right now I think this is the first gen walks the V1 WalkSnail
[01:30:11] light VTX I think this is the V2 or V3 or what one of the newer ones in here here check the difference out so this is what I chased the little RC drift cars with
[01:30:25] this is not a rig that gets crashed hard freestyled so I'm going to fly this very lightly it's also at zero up tilt so it's kind of hard to Freestyle it's fun though it is fun to
[01:30:41] fly around at zero up tilt with no ducts in view with a tiny the freestyle rig just now is on 0702 4000s the rig you're about to see here is on
[01:30:54] 0702 36,000 KV Motors you can see how little uptilt there is right it's literally zero uptilt are you kidding me this thing the the the two of these use different modules God damn it so this
[01:31:09] one the aiio is on build specs are it's just a tiny whoop standard one of my standard builds but with a BetaFPV cross style AIO since it doesn't have the VTX built in but other than that
[01:31:29] it's super straightforward so this is the little RC drift casaste rig you'll see what I mean with the voltage but let's just flly around a little bit
[01:31:48] here still great power the 36,000 KV Motors are probably a bit much for like a more cinematic rig but I'm interested in not just like chasing the the little RC cars but like trying to
[01:32:03] dance with them a little bit and the higher KV Motors if if you stay off if you stay out of Full Throttle you don't use that extra KV but it's there if you need
[01:32:16] it and when you use a bunch of throttle Expo you can get you can get really good throttle resolution but then still have a ton of power at Full Throttle there when you
[01:32:32] need it all right so now look where the battery's at right 3.57 you'll start to see you'll start to see some brown out soon this thing is so flat it just goes like under stuff that's exactly what I
[01:32:53] didn't want want to do is like center punch just one motor oh well my God it is so difficult to get under that all right ready watch 3.48 start to see you start to see those
[01:33:15] like lines there's just some like dirty lines in the video you'll see it more in a second let's let it come down a little bit farther oh boy 3.4 although it's used to do
[01:33:36] that when I was running those older batteries and those have all gone away the maybe it's just not as bad on these much I'm sure it's not as bad on these fresh batteries but still I don't
[01:33:48] realize it would be this bad that was one of my main complaints about walks sale on 6 51s is that you had to be really careful of Browning the how is this possible Browning the there's nothing
[01:34:07] there that would be holding it down like this what is happening there's no reason for this there it is there's the garbage there's it browning out and then you lose it so for science
[01:34:24] that's how you've over discharged a battery on walks in it's starts to Brown out and what's cool is if you do throttle blips when you're around 3.5 volts you'll start
[01:34:34] to see that and that's get home like get it back fly it back right away cool all right I don't need to fly the the chase rig anymore we're going to go back to the freestyle rig and really just pound on
[01:34:52] it that bad battery for anybody wondering is at 3.4 volts per cell WalkSnail pulls the batteries down pretty good it sags the batteries pretty good oh God I was flying this thing with a
[01:35:09] screw all the way out of it that's horrifying or the screw might have pulled out of the frame let's see nope I just didn't I have a hard time believing that I didn't tighten that screw
[01:35:24] down I mean maybe but yikes no I guess I didn't tighten it down bad me from the past this front one's not really tight either hold on all right so back to the freestyle
[01:35:49] rig all right cool freestyle rig again is Mobula 6 canopy WalkSnail light system with the heat shield removed BetaFPV cross style AO with no VTX built in BT 2.0 whichever frame you
[01:36:10] want I'm currently playing around with the with the HappyModel Mobula 6 2024 frame which is pretty lightweight and seems to resist vibrations pretty well and that's it folded cell 1S BT 2.0
[01:36:31] batteries and a away you go oh 40,000 KV 0702 Motors with GemFan 1210 by blades it is 25.36 gram dry with one of the Weeble batteries 33.9 to call it 34 so 34 grams all up
[01:36:52] 25.3 let's call it 25 and a half 25 and a half grams dry I could make it a little bit lighter but it would sacrifice durability hopefully I'll be able to make it half a gram lighter
[01:37:07] with these newbie drone light AF frames but we'll see this is going to be a hell of a test for that frame I'll tell you that if if it can survive if that frame can survive the the extra
[01:37:19] weight of this that'll be incredibly impressive let's fly another battery and we're going to start to ramp it up and do Dumber how's that sound how's that sound
[01:37:38] friendos rocketech says RC chase rig is WalkSnail I have four R I have four Chase rigs at the moment three are analog one is WalkSnail man I'm going to have to replace
[01:37:51] this cable God damn it this is the third cable that I've tried and they all have the same godamn problem where the USB doesn't fit tight enough you see how much more up tilt there is why is it
[01:38:03] also not sitting flat is that a motor plug problem the motor wire is making it not sit flat okay cool that's fine it should be sitting flat now no the camera's not crooked is
[01:38:21] it whoa the whole stack is crooked okay I've got the right screw tightened way more than the left screw for the record if your camera is tilted or yawed at all it will wreck
[01:38:40] your ability to fly properly don't play that game oh I got to power cycle this because it is the elrs is in Wi-Fi mode all right let's switch
[01:38:58] this okay plug it back in and away we shall go but damn I I didn't I I really overtightened the one screw on the one side that's one of my main complaints of the fractal stuff is that the camera
[01:39:16] mount is just brutal and I'm not like the best pilot in the world so when the camera is not perfectly level I fly significantly worse so you might be okay if
[01:39:31] you're the best pilot in the world but I ain't so I make my gear work properly I run gear that works properly I should say let's give it a second to just cool
[01:39:46] off so we've now gone from 30 actually hold on let me get into the OS real quick and I just want to take a quick look we got way too much pit gain we do not need this much pit
[01:40:01] gain okay there we go that's much more realistic cool all right so 0702 40,000 KV Motors let's just give the VTX another little breather here we'll fly like a C whoop for a moment
[01:40:25] I'm so used to these Ultra lightweight 65s that this thing feels massive but it's really cool to have a 1080p 60 frame per second infinitely lightweight cop to fly around the
[01:40:42] house but that you can also do some freestyle stuff with btx is calmed down unfortunat cooled down rather unfortunately the battery is pretty much dead but we'll push it a little
[01:41:04] bit o v h I'm very used to the lightweight analog rigs if I was going to really make like a good freestyle WalkSnail 65 ated I would need to spend a bunch of time
[01:41:24] flying this run time is at a minute and 30 that's a little low let's run another battery where we're not leaving it idle WalkSnail if you just let the thing sit on the ground WalkSnail will
[01:41:36] gobble up a decent amount of the battery it's not as bad as you would think but it's also not great here's a dog comom battery actually let's see let's see if we can get to the
[01:41:50] 2-minute range with that I doubt it but let's see high KV does not oh always remember High KV does not eat batteries unless you use Full Throttle all right always keep that in
[01:42:15] mind that's something that's like super misunderstood come on goddamn cable all right here we go oh whoa okay so this BetaFPV AIO is not loving life at the moment 40,000 KV might be a bit
[01:42:49] much let's try adding a little bit of TPA perhaps because it's only happening at Full Throttle where the hell is the TPA is it in miscellaneous think it might be or we might not be able to add TPA in
[01:43:08] here the tune is still I just saw it the tune is still good okay TPA rate 65 so let's bring it up to let's bring it all the way up to 80 we'll leave the break point alone and
[01:43:25] then I'm going to back the pids off a little bit more because we don't need this much pit gain these are 40,000 KV Motors let's do that feed forward should be fine everything else should be
[01:43:40] fine see if that has any effect nope nope let's do this let's motor limit them down well the VTX is awful hot right now interesting I've not run these Mega KV Motors on this BetaFPV cross style
[01:44:05] AO looks like it might be a bit much we'll jump into ESC configurator in a minute and make sure that I have .16 on here but we'll see it is not happy with these
[01:44:30] motors at at Full Throttle but let's just run the rest of this battery down no no no no no don't you go back behind there we're leave it there I'm going to turn these goggles off
[01:44:50] for a minute and we're going to check some stuff just to make absolutely sure that we've got the version of Blue Jay that I get the best results with and make sure that we're on 48k and some
[01:45:01] other stuff because that is that is the behavior of I find more often than not an ESC that just kind of can't keep up so let's see ant BBC has only been using High K Motors and lacrosses the
[01:45:22] it's the 30 6000s are totally fine on this one but maybe I I suspect that I have something not optimized on this thing so let's take a quick look plug in here let me get ready
[01:45:43] because it's going to overheat with the quickness where is there it is all right so we're going to come here and I'm going to fire up ESC configurator that's the first thing that I want to
[01:45:59] check and I'm just going to plug in this same battery because I don't I don't think I ran it down all that low so connect and we want to read settings and what do we got yep just oh
[01:46:15] okay so it's on Blue j18 48k ax5 I believe is a version of the the firmware that we can't get blue j64 let's take a look though ax ah
[01:46:34] al yep no ax damn it so w VL U TS q o m k j i g f there are no AXS it's a newer it's a newer whatever than blue j16 so let's try this let's flash them to 19.2 0.1 n.2 maybe that'll help I
[01:47:10] doubt it but you never know blue J ax51 19.2 48k flash 96k will really hammer the braking performance the motor breaking performance and it I just don't like it I don't think it flies good 48
[01:47:30] or 24 for Life gangly fan is sitting right next to me as I blow on this thing like a lunatic all right so let's just give that a second to flash I don't think that'll change anything
[01:47:54] but we're going to jump into BetaFlight and take a look at some other stuff Sam says BetaFPV AO has had the same problem with 33,000 KV Motors is there an a is there an a that can handle it
[01:48:07] these aios can handle it but the quality control on all of this stuff sucks balls so a lot of you just have to replace it's super annoying but I've had the least
[01:48:22] least problems with HappyModel 2 G4S which are now gone I'm having some of these problems on the Mobula 6 2024 so those are all of the aios that are even remotely usable for
[01:48:38] us some of them work some of them don't when you get one that doesn't work it sucks but you just sometimes have to replace it you can try to switch to one of the other ones but like
[01:48:49] I'm telling you that you have just as much of a chance of that happening on these other ones so it's we we are really pushing the limits of what's possible on these things and so
[01:49:00] you know this is this is what happens when you start going all the way cool 0.19 is on there let me leave it plugged in just check a couple things break on stop PW dealing startup
[01:49:13] power that looks fine dmag low medium high timing I wonder if we need to start back in the back in the timing off higher timing is less prone to
[01:49:29] desyncs let's push the timing up because these are ridiculously high KV Motors I don't think it's going to do much if anything ramp up limits how much power can be fast
[01:49:44] motor spinning lower values will avoid power spikes will decrease acceleration I don't really know let's just make that one little change and we'll see if maybe it's
[01:49:55] better probably not admittedly all right disconnect from here pull battery power now we can power down the gangly fan and just hop into BetaFlight and take a look at a couple things there's a
[01:50:06] chance that this could be caused by the pits being too aggressive or not having enough filtering so we will add a little bit of filtering we will back the pids off a little bit more
[01:50:17] maybe and see if that helps but again we we're we're we are out in no man's land with with some of this stuff it's really wild that we're able to do any of this to be
[01:50:36] honest so all right the pit gains are already the pit gains are already about where I think that they should be I'm going to leave the the P and DS alone the dmax I'll bring that down a little
[01:50:55] bit I'll bring the D-Max down to one it's happening constantly at Full Throttle which is not a dmax thing so this won't help but just I probably don't need that extra dmax I gain it has
[01:51:06] nothing to do with that star Stripes jacket says why do you use breake on stop I thought that was just for planes I don't know it doesn't hurt anything it's just when you
[01:51:16] disarm it's stops the propellers a little bit quicker if I get it stuck in my own hair or somebody else's hair I want it to not tangle up as much of their hair as possible so that's
[01:51:26] why I use that I have the TPA pretty aggressive I mean I can start to lower the break point but I mean it that that's no I I shouldn't need well what I can do though
[01:51:41] I can run it on the P and D gain TPA mode let's try that TPA mode is now going to not just pull the D gains down it's also going to pull the P gains down so maybe that'll help that's new in
[01:51:56] 4.4 I believe Jitter reduction iter relax anti-gravity this all looks fine Dynamic damping that looks fine I do want to turn I I do want to start turning on vbat sag compensation on all of these
[01:52:13] rigs because of the throttle Expo this will help the throttle Expo be more consistent the amount of conversation can be varied between zero and 100 full compensation 100% is recommended okay
[01:52:25] cool so it defaults to 100 that's great thrust linear sometimes I run it sometimes I don't I don't like the 20% value I like it down at 10 whatever this won't help with the problem but it's
[01:52:37] just something that I'm noticing that I want to change the throttle midpoint I do need to spend I I forgot that is set for the 75 Millet rig so I need to dial that in I'll do that in a minute
[01:52:50] but first I want to try to get it clean we have a good amount of filtering on here well all right so let's do this I had the gyro RPM filter set to two harmonics let's set it to three
[01:53:02] harmonics you never know maybe that'll help oh Crum good call good call I haven't adjusted TPA in a while I reduced the the strength of the TPA the number is the the the lower number is going to
[01:53:20] decrease it down more there's not a tool tip here for the TPA that's interesting I feel like there used to be so I went up I need to go down I'm going to go down to I'll go aggressive I'll go
[01:53:31] all the way down to 50% so now with the TPA rate at 50% at Full Throttle the P and D gains will be at 50% of their normal values versus I thought it was
[01:53:50] reducing it by 80% but that's way too high at 100% the TPA would do nothing exactly as crom says good catch thank you dude thank you dude I can maybe not run the TPA mode in PD now I could I
[01:54:05] should maybe just run it in D but it let's let's try it in PD and if it fixes the problem great gyro harmonics I've turned up Q factor is already I mean we can add a little bit
[01:54:19] of filtering here I'm not adding much though Max frequency let's go all the way up to a th just in case they were spinning fast enough that it wasn't in the dynamic Notch range but I don't
[01:54:31] think that'll help I'm going to leave it here it's a pretty clean build I'm going to leave it there and let's see if any of that stuff helped we just made a bunch of
[01:54:47] changes you want to try to only make like one change maybe two changes at a time but on a live stream I want to get to the bottom of the problem as quick as
[01:54:57] possible so I tend to make a bunch of changes at once which is sometimes a little bit more confusing but let's just get it donethen we can figure out what fixed it
[01:55:14] afterwards kind of hit's with a big hammer first and then sort of go backwards to figure out what what it was that made the biggest difference all right come
[01:55:30] on here we go and Els you GNA be cool or are you going to be a dick oh no that's user error all right here we go nope not yet come on come on you can do it
[01:55:54] the quad and Wi-Fi mode what the hell's going on why is the ls not binding there it goes all right let's see if it's any better nope zero
[01:56:07] Improvement let's just fly a battery man it's pretty nasty huh Teddy spaghetti in high definition come on you little bastard where are you chase
[01:56:37] me Chase me Teddy chase me come on please yeah come on come on I'm ready to fly backwards come here small dog why you got to be such a spoil sport look at him is he going to come
[01:56:58] down the stairs can I chase him down the stairs yes yes yes go go doggy go go doggy go doggy go there he goes there he goes hello little boy I don't know why I did that just
[01:57:18] like as if the gate was going to move out of my way I guess well I was hoping to get well above a minute and 30 but man I have not been able to get Beyond a minute and 30 with this
[01:57:40] thing well look at this now that the battery is sagged down it's not delivering enough voltage to make it freak out which is kind of interesting this is fun this is fun I don't know
[01:57:56] I got to get to the bottom of why it's well I totally forgot this rig has blackbox so I'm going to do a quick log and then beg Brandon's baked beans to take a look at it and maybe he'll see
[01:58:13] something that I don't see in the in the data as to why it's doing that weird shaking at Full Throttle with a fully charged battery so let's do it if you're going to do a blackbox log here's
[01:58:28] what you want to do put it on a switch and leave that switch off when it's on the ground so you want to you want to turn on your logging when you're in the air so I have it on this mode switch
[01:58:52] all right come on back come on back there we go all right Teddy heads up buddy so we're not logging now we are logging so we turned it on while we were in the air and so
[01:59:06] now you're going to do snap moves so you're going to go roll to one side roll to the other side you're going to do front and back flip and you want the end of the moves
[01:59:22] to be zero stick although I just let the I let the stick bounce on that one and the quad mirrored it and then you're going to yaw yaw ya ya ya try not to hit the ground you don't want any any spikes
[01:59:34] in the in the gyro signal and then if you're trying to troubleshoot a specific behavior make it do the thing right so let's come up here and just hammer it and so now the log has like a Full
[01:59:54] Throttle rip of it wobbling back and forth and now we can stop logging and so now that's a really good log it had a little bit of just like medium throttle flying it had the sharp
[02:00:08] snap moves and then it had the bad behavior I'm trying to turn down the volume on my transmitter but I do need to that is my transmitter battery dying so there we go what
[02:00:27] it actually could be a frame problem the the other WalkSnail 65 rig is on the newbie drone cockroach V3 this is the first time I've had this is the first time I've used I
[02:00:47] did not expect him to be there I've used this Frame this being the Mobula 6 2024 frame so that needs to be a part of my troubleshoot here is swapping this to a different frame but I'm curious if
[02:01:06] Brandon will see anything in the file here's what I do know is that the BetaFPV cross style AO has the ability to not do this weird on 0702 36,000 Motors when loaded down with WalkSnail
[02:01:28] and on an analog rig it was fine with these 40,000 KV no I haven't run it on somebody in the chat has been running 40,000 KV Motors on this AO and not having problems so either my
[02:01:46] AIO the fats are dying or there could be something else at here my next troubleshoot is going to be to swap the frame which we're not going to do here because it's already 5:00 but I
[02:02:03] think we've flown our six I think that was six batteries I now have a log that I can send to Brandon what'll be cool I'll send this log to Brandon there he is and I'll
[02:02:17] switch the frame and I'll do another log we'll be able to see the difference but we'll also be able to compare the the the Mobula 6 2024 frame with the well Brandon's in the chat
[02:02:36] I'm gonna try to send it to him right now to see if maybe he's motivated enough to look at it real quick that would be ridiculously cool but I'm going to point the finger at the
[02:02:51] the moment at the frame I think maybe this Frame is the problem but we'll see again we are in Uncharted Territory friends God only knows what could be happening here Brandon offers his blackbox
[02:03:14] tuning services for the incredibly Fair rate of a dollar a minute if you want somebody to dive into your blackbox and make some suggestions for your rig to fly better you are not going to find
[02:03:25] a better deal than that all praise the Brandon crom says ramdo says no escaping Zero taste says produced if you can find a super BF4 light those seem to be bulletproof in all ways
[02:03:42] otherwise maybe newbie J hummingbird V2 or the super xhd but there's way more I feel like there was a message before this that YouTube deleted for some strange reason oh it's because I'm
[02:03:56] On Top chat instead of live chat son of a if you've been messaging me and I haven't been reading your message I apologize I forgot to click one of the 82 buttons that I have to click in order
[02:04:06] for anything to ever work oh I'm an idiot it was in it was in I already hit the thing hold on I got to do it again Black Box activate mass storage mode there we go now it'll pop
[02:04:24] up okay there it is and why are there so many it should be this last one let's see copy you bastard 2.7 Megs that's the one so we're GNA do this and then we're going to unlock
[02:04:46] it and then I'm gonna send it to Brandon I wasn't saying send it as to try to be a cool guy I just happened to pause at the exact wrong time take it easy I'm not that cool all right there
[02:05:07] it is thank you Brandon you're the best as always no rush Brandon is also checking on a really weird y'all behavior I'm getting on the AOS
[02:05:19] 3.5 that even him stumped which is hard to do it's hard to stump the Brandon I might just need to reinstall BetaFlight but it might be something else if I reinstall BetaFlight and it
[02:05:36] fixes it's super weird because like that'd be one of those situations where like you didn't do anything wrong you installed it but something magically just randomly happened which is pretty
[02:05:46] uncommon Electronics really aren't supposed to be sometimes they are Zero taste says the BetaFPV cross aiio are effing I've broken five in less than four months with 25,000 KV on
[02:05:59] 75 millimeter NH hd0 Sadler there really isn't another option we don't have many options on a lot of this stuff it's maddening if you can find a superb F4 light
[02:06:18] superb F4 light huh man I haven't seen one of that forever there is that newbie drone I wouldn't do the hummingbird but there is a newbie drone Acro B HD but it's
[02:06:33] $100 and then there's the HappyModel one but I don't know the racers use this BetaFPV cross and they're pretty rough on gear so I I would think that this one is it has some potential
[02:06:50] but I don't know it's super hard to tell man super super super difficult to tell so all right Sam says my B has the same problem I read that one I think I'm caught up on chat it's about
[02:07:07] time to end this so I'm going to stall for a minute to see if maybe Brandon is looking at that file right now if not it's totally cool Brandon don't no pressure whatsoever we're
[02:07:16] going to continue this troubleshoot in the future and we'll get it figured out out it might just be that this aiio is on its way out it has been cranking 75mm Big Boy propellers and big boy
[02:07:33] Motors so I could very well have HT it during that process but I don't know it's interesting was it did I just crotch the camera is that like all crotch when I do that n it's not too much crotch IR is in
[02:07:52] the house with a $20 Super Chat he says what's this button do it supports cool people on YouTube brother thank you so much homie very very cool I'm going to start to pull this thing
[02:08:08] out of this Frame right now real quick as just a reminder that I need to do this and I'm going to leave the motors connected I'm going to leave the motors connected Kevin Su says
[02:08:27] you coming to hang out in mad's chat after the stream probably not today because I have a million things going on but I'll I'll try to get in there I I really had a blast last week hanging out
[02:08:40] in there speaking of let's let's all head over to mad's text stream I don't want to I don't want to put Brandon on the spot and be likelook at this file now or else so it's it's
[02:08:51] totally cool let's all head over to mad chat's live stream mad Tech's live stream and that's all let's just hang out over there here's the rest of the of the
[02:09:07] did we do all the things did did we do the things that we said 65mm whoops with WalkSnail are incredible they are indeed six batteries Q&A we did it all my friends we talked about some some 5
[02:09:18] in stuff even what a what a to be alive rotor Riot Rampage micro Mayhem footage coming at you soon now that I got it all chopped up maybe in rotor Riot's edit definitely in a couple my
[02:09:29] own edits there will be some patreon only stuff some like full all the footage all the flying with like an alternate song and then I'll put out proper edits on the channel for the
[02:09:41] first time I don't think I've ever put out a single actual Rampage edit which is ridiculous because I've got footage from every single one but love you guys bye I'll see you tomorrow
[02:09:53] night at 10:00 for giveaways if you're on the $5 tier on my patreon and up you'll be entered into either one or if you're on a high enough tier all three giveaways and then there will of
[02:10:05] course be the Super Chat giveaway so tomorrow night 10 o'clock Eastern time C fv.com has a link to patreon and all the other stuff click all the buttons help me out and we'll keep building better
