[00:02:15] friends I forgot that there was a crash towards the end of that my name is Aaron Ciotti everybody calls me Ciotti welcome to the show you were just watching the 2S WalkSnail
[00:02:26] rig on 0802 19,000 KV Motors the old school HappyModel red and black 802s that have been coming on the old school Mobula 6es with the 2g4 boards probably even the FR Sky boards
[00:02:48] forever man these motors are so old school but you run them and 19,000 KV for an 802 is awful low I have sold sold a couple sets of these motors to folks
[00:03:02] doing is it race gal no no no it's not race gal it's underground whoop League the the spec underground whoop league setup it's a it's a heavy 75 MIM build but it's a spec racing series
[00:03:16] which is amazing and I I've I've always kind of said that these motors are worthless I'm so sorry but now all of a sudden they've got value sort of sort of the the 1 mimer motor
[00:03:36] shaft is not going to last super long I don't think which kind of doesn't matter because the frame broke already this is a beta BetaFPV 75x 2s
[00:03:51] frame with the big battery Bay in here there it is and I flew two batteries on this setup and the frame has already broken it broke one of the one of the standoffs in here that
[00:04:06] holds the top of the battery which is I'm pretty sure that's going to be the weak point of all these frames for this 2S rig because the battery is kind of big and fat and
[00:04:18] heavy so I will get another one of these frames and give it one more try but not encouraging that it broke within two batteries what is really cool about the 0802 19,000 KV Motors on this two 2s
[00:04:39] setup is that they bring the weight on this thing down all the way to what the 1S build weighs with the big old 1102 Motors so the the 2S WalkSnail rig has gained I'm sorry has lost quite a
[00:04:56] bit of weight on these motors that's all the pluses and as you can see it flies really well I also just did a quick Instagram edit which is up on a reel cfp.net
[00:05:28] some more hold on oh no no no these are the 102s well for the sake of argument here here's what it flies like on the next set of Motors I'm going to talk to you about which are the 102 Motors
[00:05:46] great because it's lightweight runtime was completely fine so the motors weren't getting too hot which is wild because on One S these motors could not handle it but the extra 2s
[00:05:56] voltage is is keeping them nice and cool over three minutes of runtime pretty much the same runtime as the next motor the one that you're watching right now so if you've got an old
[00:06:07] school set of 08021 19000s don't throw them away hang on to them because they do work on this build and if you want an ultra light 2S WalkSnail setup they work
[00:06:19] completely fine or if you were going to do like a 2S analog setup I don't know why you do that but if you were going to do that these motors are would work for that again the 1 millimeter
[00:06:31] shaft is not going to last super long but get get a little bit of use out of them what you're watching right now is the previous Motors that we've been talking about that were on this rig
[00:06:43] these those are t-motor 102 versus these 802s 18,000 KV versus these 19,000 KVs kind of a brilliant example of the relationship between between KV and motor size happened on this rig
[00:07:05] between those two Motors so we talk a lot about how the stator size the the size of the motor the amount of power that the motor has the amount of torque that the motor
[00:07:17] has will allow it to push a propeller to a certain RPM if you raise and lower the the KV of the motor as the KV of the motor goes up it will push the propeller a little bit harder the motor gets
[00:07:33] efficient more efficient believe it or not that's how it achieves the higher KV less windings but there is a point where you can't just keep raising the KV because the motor will not be big enough
[00:07:47] to push the actual propeller to that higher KV KV is measured with no prop on so you can wind the smallest motor to turn 110 billion C but once you put a prop on it's it's
[00:08:03] not going to work and so a great example of that is this rig here on 2S when I had it on the 102 18,000 KV Motors at 80% motor limiting I left the motor limiting the same between these
[00:08:20] two setups 102 18,000 KV was turning 50,000 RPM in the OSD after the flight props on on flying around with the 802 19,000 KVs 1,000 extra KV it's only turning
[00:08:40] 48,000 RPM because the 802 motor is significantly smaller than the 102 motor and it doesn't have the size the torque the power the grunt to spin even this like wispy little 1610 GemFan byblade
[00:08:59] up to the highest possible KV all that being said if I had a 20,000 KV 802 versus these 19000s it would turn a little bit more RPM but you're losing efficiency when you do that it's always
[00:09:17] more efficient it's not always more look when you get to the point where a lower KV motor that's a bigger stator is a when we're when we're in this scenario we're seeing the limits of the 802 I
[00:09:35] have pushed this 802 sort of Beyond its limits and if I push it higher and higher and higher if I go up to 85% motor limiting 90% motor limiting I'm going to start to lose efficiency and
[00:09:47] that's one of the ways that you can tell that if you've got two motors with different Stater sizes but roughly the same KV and you're seeing that happen you're seeing the bigger Stater motor
[00:09:58] with a lower KV actually turning more RPMs once it's loaded with a propeller and in the air that's a scenario where you're starting to see the limits and that's a good place to be right that's what
[00:10:11] we're trying to do we're trying to find the limits of these damn things and optimize the the motor sizing so basically like with an 802 if you want to do this 2S build with the weight of
[00:10:23] the WalkSnail on there you would like the optimal motor KV for 100% motor limiting would actually be like my guess would be like 16,000 KV you really wouldn't want to go much
[00:10:37] beyond that because again you're going to start to lose efficiency it'll keep making a little bit more a little bit more a little bit more RPM but you'll be sending that motor a bunch of
[00:10:48] extra you'll be sending that motor more power than it's able to produce thrust and it's going to turn that extra power into heat and that's bad you want the motors to warm up a little bit
[00:11:03] you don't want a setup where the KV is so low and the motor size is so big that it stays comp like totally ice cold the whole time you want to push the limits but you you can't you don't want to push
[00:11:17] the limits too far and it's interesting to kind of see that so there you go friends just going deep down the rabbit hole immediately today is going to be a lot of deep
[00:11:32] dives into Super nerdy tiny whoop stuff we're also going to do a h t-shirt giveawaywe're going to give away this very cool shirt that was a old school shirt that was made for me from
[00:11:46] bman but it's gigantic this shirt is huge so all of you old school folks will recognize that saying and so this is a large shirt if you're a large large then stick around
[00:12:02] and you'll have a chance to enter a giveaway and win a shirt when I feel like the the YouTube chat used to it used to scroll me to the bottom a lot more often than it does now and
[00:12:21] when it used to do that I would I would scroll back up and I would go and I would say scrolling scrolling scrolling and apparently I said that a lot because one day I got a t-shirt that
[00:12:32] said scrolling scrolling scrolling on it and then that that kind of made me stop saying that I think because I try not to say like the same things over and over and over and over again I
[00:12:46] live stream for 10 hours a week so I try to mix it up as much as I can for you guys so there's that nothing wrong with that I appreciate you guys calling me on stuff it's helps I
[00:12:59] don't like when I watch another streamer and they say the same thing 7,000 times which is why I don't watch streamers that say let's go which is why I don't watch many streamers because all anyone
[00:13:10] says over and over and over again is let's go and locked in and I swear to God if I hear one more person say either one of those things I'm not going to do anything but it's going to make me angry
[00:13:29] don't be that person don't say those things in the chat bad was first Bob Bruce was next notice Northern Tier Cloud Hopper Tom Johnson coal Powers crom not applicable Douglas otwell
[00:13:43] hockey rounds vpro we bed FPV Frank Nicholas Caleb Apache smoke Troy prelog yusen Yus husen I wonder how that's pronounced Striker Dave S what's up everybody if you want the gangly man to
[00:14:00] say your name come to the chat early and say hi you can also type c FPV into your chat message if you do it and you spell it right it'll light up an orange for me and I'll read your message you
[00:14:09] can also do a super chat but maybe save if if you're a large t-shirt maybe save your super chats for the for the giveaway to see if you can win an old school SE FPV
[00:14:21] shirt webl FPV tagged me in the chat and said hello gang gang happy Sunday what's up Zotac how are you homie a smoke says Yosi FPV and gangang how you doing today European crew is in the
[00:14:34] house strier says this is basically exactly what I want to do front yard with 75mm 1S so what you were watching on the intro was 2S not one boy do I have a rabbit hole to go down
[00:14:48] with you on the One S rig Brandon's baked beans has very kindly been helping me out over on Discord I sent him a blackbox log because the 1S rig is flying horrible right now and he
[00:15:04] thinks it's some weirdness with BMI gyros in BetaFlight on 4.4.3 yada yada yada we'll get to the bottom of it and see if I can get the 1S rig flying a little bit better
[00:15:19] because there's something going on right now and it's potentially like wrecking my ability to kind of evaluate the 1S rig versus the 2S rig and so maybe we'll get some more jam out of the
[00:15:33] 1s rig but we'll talk about that in a little bit Striker also says what are your thoughts on the RC RC and power 702's 27,29 can't really speak to them I haven't personally tested them so I
[00:15:47] don't really know what I've heard about them is that they just mangle your battery which is most of these other non HappyModel Motors pretty much every sing Le other than HappyModel
[00:16:00] motor either doesn't make enough power and has normal runtime or makes enough power and doesn't have [@$#%] for runtime and so it's happy
[00:16:13] model I think that HappyModel has really optimized the amount of copper that they're packing into the Stater for each individual KV that's just my personal opinion I that's not based
[00:16:31] on a whole lot but I think we're starting to see that with some of the motors that butterfly FPV is unwinding and measuring and it's also kind of the only thing that makes sense I guess
[00:16:44] you could also argue that like maybe they have a tighter air gap there's a couple of different things that can cause Motors to have more power and more efficiency
[00:16:56] but personally I think it's that they've they've really figured out how to get the most possible copper onto the Stater but I I I think in the next few months we'll really get to the bottom
[00:17:10] of that with some of the testing that a couple of folks in this hand wound hand winding tiny whoop Motors Facebook group are kind of figuring out rock roller says Hi We bed says we just
[00:17:22] dropped 802 21,500 KV that's low I guess that's for the racers WX style what's WX with Nur shafts and working on 1 and a half millimeter shafts also they're called Borg Slayers very cool
[00:17:36] what's WX style is that Weeble ex as in the light the the one piece lightweight Bell that would be my guess parkour guy says when do you think the 3D print streams will come found a really cool
[00:17:53] open source project called gratify has over 2,000 projects of different modular bins and holders for anything I still don't have anything that needs 3D printing so it's still just sitting over
[00:18:04] there I've got so much going on don't don't hold your breath for it I I've there's just a ton of stuff going on right now I am in a half decent place mentally that I can that I've been able to
[00:18:24] start getting caught up on stuff which is great but no unfortunately no time soon there's just so many really interesting whoop products go projects going on that I'm trying to that
[00:18:39] I'm trying to keep the momentum sort of going with and it's summertime and so I also do want to start flying outside a little bit more so basically to be
[00:18:52] honest until there's something that I want or need to 3D print I think it's just going to kind of hang out over there but I I also every once in a while do get like weird bursts of
[00:19:06] inspiration so it could very well be tomorrow that I do it so stay tuned Brad Mond says I found you a new drift car Chaser I PMD it in Discord oh my God that's the biggest link
[00:19:20] I've ever seen ah so these tiny Hoovers were were a thing a few years back that would be super interesting the problem with this would be is that you would have to like this
[00:19:33] thing drifts the the way that it Corners cuz it's using air so you would like go into the corner with these guys and then you would look inside of the corner and you wouldn't be able to see them but
[00:19:44] the tiny Hoovers are man these were all the rage for a little while because you just have to cut up a tiny whoop frame and then you just like stick the the aiio in there somewhere super
[00:19:56] cool stuff I I always thought this was just hysterical but then you got to have like a really smooth floor to run them on and so a whole bunch of people got all excited about them and
[00:20:06] a couple a bunch of people built them and then here it really what what it really is is that RC like like groundbased RC cars they're super fun for like 10
[00:20:21] minutes and then and then they're not as fun like unless like the the little RC drift car I totally get it because it's really challenging but like regular just groundbased RC cars unless there's some
[00:20:35] kind of a challenge there like I feel like you just drive it around a little bit and you're like well that was cool with with the little FPV camera on it I will say it's got to be way more fun but
[00:20:46] look you're you're you're you're bound to northsouth East West right it's like a two-dimensional experience you can't go up and down and so there's only so much that you can kind of do with it
[00:20:59] I think again unless you've got like unless like you're drifting and you're trying to do Tandem and stuff but the tiny Hoover was was one of the coolest thing that was such like
[00:21:09] a cool little moment of like f weird backwards FPV inspiration into into regular RC cars parkour guy says also are there any hidden specs like certain glass and stuff that makes some ND
[00:21:24] filters better than others sort of I mean certain ND filters will be more durable the main thing with ND filters though is that they are so ND stands for neutral density neutral as in
[00:21:42] it doesn't impart any any tint or hue any other colors it's perfect neutral gray and that's hard to do so there are like cheaper ND filters will tend to like a purple tint to them and like
[00:22:01] sure you can get most of that out in post but sometimes you actually can't sometimes like having purple in there it'll it'll just throw the colors off enough that it's either a
[00:22:14] total pain in the ass or it just if you get your white balance wrong enough you can't fix it's important to get the the white balance like in the ballpark so and it's it's
[00:22:28] like there are ND filters out there that are not that don't have a purple or green Hue to them and they are actually neutral and they're probably only a dollar more so it makes sense to
[00:22:41] get if you get an ND filter that's got a weird like purple tint to it in my opinion I mean best case fly it hard and break it right and then you have to replace it but ND filters are not
[00:22:54] expensive enough to like not replace one that's so that's the main thing about ND filters King dingling says sorry mate last stream I was talking about the air 65
[00:23:06] canopy plastic will you take a look at the canopy to see if it's softer now uh yes yes what a what a segue what a segue that was I've got a box got two boxes
[00:23:40] actually let me do this other box first this is a box from rder Riot I I I for whatever reason did not get my volunteer t-shirt this year while I was at Rampage and so I'd messaged
[00:23:56] Stacy and said like were there so I have every single Rampage volunteer t-shirt from every single Rampage I have like a collection of shirts I have the orange I have two orange ones from the
[00:24:11] very first Rampage the next Rampage there were three different ones there was like a teal a yellow and a purple there was like one for volunteer one for staff one for something else I have all
[00:24:24] three of those and then last year I think it was a black shirt and so I have a collection and now the collection is complete again so that's pretty awesome shout out to shout out to rri for
[00:24:41] hooking me up with this even if they even if they have unfortunately joined all of the other companies that are supplying drones to the military I don't like it but not a whole hell of a lot I
[00:24:54] can do with it and do about it rather and everybody else is doing it I don't I I I don't know what to say about that whole situation I I wish that they weren't I wish that they
[00:25:12] weren't but can't say I blame him for doing it because everybody else is I don't like it I definitely don't like it they sent me a couple stickers can't put the toothpaste back
[00:25:28] in the tube as Joshua said rightly so I got they had a bunch of these dog com batteries for like a dollar each so I snagged a bunch wait no this is the rotor Riot box I'm sorry in in the other box there's a
[00:25:44] bunch of battery straps Rite sent me this dogc com battery strap that's cool of them getting all mixed up they sent me a couple of sets of 65mm triblade props I think these are the thing I I I
[00:26:00] have a feeling that I didn't get a they have bags for volunteers with like different stuff from the bags that you get as just somebody that goes to the thing and I feel like I didn't get
[00:26:18] that goes to Rampage and I feel like I didn't get the volunteer bag that had the t-shirt and this other stuff so I think that's what they're they're hooking a brother up with so
[00:26:27] these are great these are actually really really nice 63 mm is 2 and 1/2 in 63 mm yep 2.48 in so these are going to be good on those ultra light like naked GoPro carrying rigs
[00:26:49] I don't I I would say that I'll run these on the C the the cyclist chasing rigs but now that the FAA is giving us up to 400 grams while flying over people I don't think
[00:27:07] those rigs are going to stay together I think those rigs are going to get pulled apart and dropped into 3in box frames I'm just waiting for some 3-in box frames to get built
[00:27:21] maybe even 3 and 1/2 in box frames from 250 gram to 400 gram is a lot extra 150 is is quite a bit so we'll stay tuned there I'm just going to hoard these like a like a proper hoarder couple of
[00:27:36] sets of GemFan long range 51 26s I don't even think I knew these existed these would be for like an ultra lightweight 5-in rig 5126 interesting size set of hqr
[00:28:00] r36 R is in racing I think I think this is a racing prop 3.6 pitch racing prop interesting and then a set of the HQ which are these I forgot are these the J I think these are the J 37s hold
[00:28:20] on let me see come on no no no no R6 these are R six BetaFlight branding look at that that's kind of cool is that what this is R six did I just say that R
[00:28:39] six r36 HQ needs to work on their on their naming conventions in my opinion I don't know what an R six is chat is probably already saying what R six is I'm going to hang on to these
[00:28:59] though because it's BetaFlight branded that's kind of cool isn't it r36 I'm assuming that's a 3.6 pitch racing prop I wonder what makes these different to like the minchan Kim
[00:29:14] oh those are gem fin that's what it is racing props these are going to go in a giveaway these are going to go [@$#%] I just knocked things everywhere these are going to go
[00:29:28] with the with the T-shirt we're going to do a little contest for the t-shirt in a little bit I just I I have a lot of props that I've been that are like on Deck to test
[00:29:44] and I don't want another one so t-shirt and a set of racing props I'm sure you can use them for freestyle they're fine big thick HQ battery strap this is actually this
[00:29:57] is really nice it's also going to be really heavy but this is a really nice material main problem being there's actually a big nasty split in the in the metal buckle here but it'll probably be
[00:30:12] fine because it's a big thick metal buckle but this is a crazy material that this this is made of that's nice it's kind of the material that the Newbie drone battery straps are made of you've
[00:30:25] got a battery strap effici andado in your hand here my friends I have I have so many different battery straps I I I just I find them to be fascinating and
[00:30:38] I don't know if fascinating is the right word but I find them to be something and a set of the 1.6 in by blades oh with the 1 and 1 12 mm wow this is really cool these are
[00:30:56] actually weirdly rare these are the 1610 by blades in gray with a 1.5 mm hole in the middle race day quads used to have these in stock but now they're gone all of the
[00:31:14] one all of the 1610s with the 1 and 1 12 mm hole are blue now how the hell does rotor Riot have these very cool this is actually a score right here CU sometimes the blues don't
[00:31:32] look good on your builds thank you RoR Riot for sending this over very very cool this is where this is why I did mailbag right now this is the box from newbie drone
[00:31:49] newbie drone yep that I've been waiting for and in this box are a bunch of light a frames in addition to the one that's here on this build that I'm going to be screwing together once this box is
[00:32:06] off the desk so I've got I ordered three of the clear plastic frames that we haven't seen before and two of the opaque whites I don't know why I ordered the opaque
[00:32:24] whites I kind of wish that I hadn't the the opaque white doesn't match the the Mobula 6 canopy so I I don't know what the deal is with these maybe I'll do giveaways with these but I
[00:32:38] wish I just ordered a whole bunch of these clear milky plastic ones because plastic is clear so the farther away from clear that you go the more additive that is not plastic and that is not as
[00:32:54] strong as plastic right plastic which is clear is strong additives that change things colors aren't strong they don't really have any strength to them they're they're not
[00:33:04] meant to be strong they're meant to change colors right so the farther away you go from clear the less strong plastic is and with these light AF frames they are light and we want
[00:33:17] them to be as strong as possible so the the although this opaque white one lasted a whole hell of a lot of abuse but it did fail in the end so I'm I don't know I wish I hadn't ordered these
[00:33:32] white ones but it is what it is I'll give them another shot we'll we'll we'll try the the white ones again I'm going to have to drill all of these out and I'll show you how I do
[00:33:41] that I picked up a meteor 75 frame in the transparent color I don't know why I did that I got to start for these 75mm frames I should be buying them in Black because when you buy them in transparent
[00:33:56] and then you fly them outside they immediately turned green and look just godamn awful this is the 1S version of the meteor 75 frame here's something that you should not do I had I had another one of
[00:34:17] these where the hell is it I put it somewhere to remind myself to show you guys what not to do ah [@$#%] where did I put it first I put it over here I remember putting it
[00:34:32] over here and then I was like no no no no no don't put it there you won't remember to show the people put it somewhere that you'll remember to there it is there it is put
[00:34:44] it somewhere that you'll remember to show the people let me make sure this is the same frame yep all right so I had one I actually I forgot is a happy ass accident I forgot that I had one of
[00:34:59] these in black and I I I ordered this one I'm really lucky that I ordered this one because last night I took a look at this Frame all right so here it is well I can show you here I show you here hold
[00:35:14] on so look at that battery Bay there right you see the the dividers on the top here so on the 2S build I've got that AIO in there we got to talk about that too I've got that AIO in
[00:35:32] there that doesn't have a USB port on the bottom so I can put batteries up really high in these frames so I took a look at the black one the other day and I was what I bet you I bet
[00:35:42] you these little 2S 300mah batteries will fit in here if I cut this top set of supports out so I did that I cut that top set of supports out see it but it's too
[00:35:58] small it's not it's not quite big enough and so I wrote fail on it because this Frame is now completely worthless there's there's absolutely nothing I can do with this
[00:36:11] Frame because there are no there are no batteries that are that are this size the the the the 2S 300mah batteries are like the thinnest that we've got this is now too tall for the 451 s's but too
[00:36:27] narrow for the 300mah 2S batteries so don't be a dummy like me this was a fail what was not a fail though is the Mobula 7 V4 frame which I did that exact same
[00:36:52] thing too I cut that exact same part out of which is this and you can even see it's a taller right you can see how much taller this is in here so this is a this is a 1s
[00:37:07] mobula 7 V4 frame with those supports removed and this is going to be cool this is going to be used in the 2S WalkSnail rig testing but I need to get another aiio first because another pad
[00:37:21] broke off and I bolted on I found in my box of stuff a set of BetaFPV 1102 18,000 KV Motors that we're going to test on 2S so the 2S rig thus far has had the t-motor 102 18,000 which were
[00:37:42] awesome in the Mobula 7 V3 frame which was okay I am going to take these motors off and put those little BetaFPV risers so that this Frame isn't such a pain in the ass anymore but
[00:37:55] we'll talk more about that once I get a new AIO because the 2S rig is done right now and then I ran it on the 0802 19,000 it was surprisingly good really lightweight but it's going to go back I
[00:38:13] I prefer the 102s if I'm honest and then we're going to try these 1102s as well so similar with the 1S we're going to try 802 10:2 and 1102 I have a feeling that the 102
[00:38:29] t-motor 18000s are the way to go I've tried these BetaFPV 1102 18000s in the past on the tiny lifters and they were not very well balanced out of the box and they put a lot of vibrations into
[00:38:44] the build which caus Jello which is an issue that we have on all these HD small little guys so again super glad that I just happened to order one of these meteor 75 five frames
[00:38:58] because I want to try this on the on the jungle gy Basher and on the 1S WalkSnail build so this is super nice to have I'm just going to try it on the jungle gy Basher I think come to think
[00:39:22] well it kind of depends it's going to depend on whether or not a 2g4 will fit in the damn thing I don't know if it will I'm looking at the spot where the 2g4 hits
[00:39:37] on the air oh no we'll be okay the airframe has a big crazy support here for the battery tray and the 2g4 hits on it the regular meteor 75 frame does not have that so that's kind
[00:39:50] of cool the I really like the the meteor 75 air frames on these WalkSnail builds cuz I use the BetaFPV cross Style aiio on them but and then on the
[00:40:08] on the analog jungle gy Basher I'm stuck running the Mobula 7 1S AIO sorry the Mobula 7 V4 frame this is now another option for that which is pretty cool so
[00:40:25] that'll be I'm going to put this right there Jungle Jim Basher is over on the table and I am going to build another jungle JY Basher because I have some some new Motors to test I want to try
[00:40:45] the tiny whoop 603 3000s again I have a set sitting right over here and I also want to try the VCI 803 27000 that were really good on the WalkSnail build but they the efficiency
[00:41:03] kind of sucked so I'm curious to see him on the Jungle Jim Basher could be really good so some very cool 75mm analog ripping is is on the way that'll be
[00:41:23] fun so meteor 75 frame will enter the mix of testing this is a true RC Blaze they they had a crazy clearance deal on these this is a antenna with an LED in it a green LED on it and I'm going
[00:41:46] to be doing a Joshua Bardwell 5-in build with a ton of green and purple LEDs and so I thought what the hell this could be really cool for that fart I missed I got it because it was
[00:42:01] hysterically cheap a couple of sets of HQ 3x3x3 old school propellers but they're apparently like the the best balanced 3-in props that any of the thrust stand folks have
[00:42:17] tested H I have a bunch of these but again these were in the clearance section and I was like well let me snag a few more sets and then next time I fly 3 in I will throw these on and see
[00:42:32] if they really are what I don't like about these is they're kind of weak they fold and break between the blade and the Hub but if they're really well balanced that's kind
[00:42:44] of nice that's a nice comparison Point some fresh bt2.0 300mah batteries these are the ones branded by tattoo I'm pretty sure that tattoo makes all of these for all the different companies
[00:43:01] I could be wrong but I don't think I am I've had a bunch of my 300 M BT 2.0 batteries really start performing like ass lately and I think I'm getting to the bottom of what's going on there I I
[00:43:21] think it's these I think it's these two minute runtime builds as we talked about two days ago and so I've actually been doing some battery testing over the past few
[00:43:37] days I I I want to take a look at I want to try to figure out how to test the longevity of these tiny whoop batteries and I think I might have figured out a way how to do it I I think I there's
[00:43:53] also a chance that it's won't really work but we'll talk let me get through the rest of this and then we'll actually dive into that they had dollar per hack RC little battery straps
[00:44:06] so I snagged a couple because it's hard to find these short thin micro battery straps so whenever I see them I grab a couple these are again from their clearance section this was like a
[00:44:20] dollar oh no this is actually a free this is a freebie when you spend a certain amount you get to get a free product this is SMA to mmcx actually kind of nice to have this I don't
[00:44:33] think I have any of these adapters so if I run a fullsize air unit for example for some strange reason on a build I could use these to go from the mmcx to SMA if I did like a like a
[00:44:45] lifter or something I could use these and then Mount big tall SMA antennas just nice to have nice to have and it was literally free and then the last thing in here
[00:44:57] is a set of Motors Believe It or Not for the longest time I've been looking for I the 404s are really decent but I think that 1405 or 1504 or 1505 is like the god motor size it's
[00:45:23] just that nobody's been making those motors have been made before brother hobby made a set of 1504 halfs but they didn't make them in quite High Enough of a KV and they were supera they
[00:45:37] weren't super fragile but they were fragile they were really cool Motors though they actually had titanium motor shafts which I don't think anybody else has done so that was kind of cool
[00:45:48] but Zing made a 1504 they didn't make it in quite a high enough KV and then they discontinued the damn thing these are odity RC OD itrc 1405 4800 KV finally a motor with a high
[00:46:14] enough KV this could be the perfect 3-in freestyle motor for like 250 gram 260 g all the way up to like like 280 maybe even up to 300 this would probably also work with a 3 and 1/2 in
[00:46:34] prop but you wouldn't really need this much RPM for a 3 and 1 half inch prop so these are really like if you're going to do a siren F3 build this might be the perfect motor unfortunately
[00:46:48] newbie drone only had two of these in stock now they have zero of them in stock what I will say is that they are incredibly notchy but I think that our the between RPM filtering and all
[00:47:05] the advancements in BetaFlight I think that the the NACI Motors are actually maybe okay I'm still super skeptical because we have such a hard time with
[00:47:21] Jello but I if I can find two more of them I am going to try them probably on a siren F3 build now that apparently they're back in stock but I need to find two more of the damn
[00:47:35] things a RC's website has them they're they're on their website so I might just need to do that but I'm assuming that that's going to ship from overseas and take forever to get to me
[00:47:47] but kind of cool aity RC 15 I'm sorry 1405 4800 KV these go right here because I want to remember to use them find two more and then use them whoever wins the shirt
[00:48:09] today is going to get this newbie drone sticker huzzah all right it's in there and any fun notes from the fellas and or ladies no that's okay I know newbie drone packs and ships a ton of orders I don't expect
[00:48:37] a shop that big to write little old m a note it's not like Kelvin my my contact over there is Kelvin and it's not like he's packing orders I'll also throw a
[00:48:47] mango gummy candy in here so but the the reason I did the Newbie drone order was for these guys when you guys get new fresh tiny whoop batteries stack them all up like
[00:49:06] this get them nice and even and then take a colored marker that you hopefully haven't used before Jesus and markh them so these are going to be my Gold Tattoo batteries
[00:49:26] markh them up here because anywhere else you're going to rub your fingers and rub off the the marker so come up on top here next to the BT 2.0 and just mark them and that'll just
[00:49:40] kind of help you keep track of your old batteries versus your new batteries it's also a way to if you want to dive down the rabbit hole of like maybe the tattoo branded
[00:49:53] batteries are better than the wee bed batteries it's just a way to se identify him a little bit better so start doing that it's a good
[00:50:03] little practice to kind of get into these are going to go here because they need to get charged let me show you guys how to prep your newbie drone cockroach V3 and or light AF that's the end of
[00:50:22] mailbag thank you for the reminder the question that made me do mailbag was is the new was it the light AF last stream I was talking about the air 65 canopy plastic will you take a
[00:50:42] look at that canopy see if it's softer now pretty please I did I did that on the last stream I misread your comment on the last stream I did exactly that might as well do it with this is
[00:50:58] the the first generation of opaque white light AF that they sent me this is the current one in not white this one might be a little bit softer which is a good
[00:51:12] thing so hard to tell I think it is I think this the the clear plastic ones are a little bit a little bit softer which is good okay I couldn't tell a difference with the
[00:51:27] air 65 frames as a spoiler for you if you're going to buy a newbie drone cockroach V3 cockroach 65 V3 or a light AF frame and you plan on running HappyModel Motors or to be
[00:51:47] honest you might just want to do this regardless when you get these frames get yourself a 9 64s 9 64s drill bit and prep the frame which is to just drill out the motor holes the the C clip holes down
[00:52:15] here hold the hold the motor base from the inside if you do this wrong and the drill bit catches it'll twist the motor base right off so be a little bit careful here's
[00:52:26] what you do you don't even really need a drill you just need the drill bit you can do this by hand but the drill makes it a lot easier you're going to hand jam it in there you have a coworker at DIS
[00:52:36] makers that would say hand Jam all the time and I for whatever reason I remembered it hand jam it in there and just rotate it around a little bit to get it started that's going to make sure
[00:52:46] that it doesn't grab and twist the motor base off and then just fired up and that's it then you've taken a tiny little bit of plastic off and that's it but hand jam it first friends just
[00:53:00] like Friday nights always hand Jam first and that's it it'll take you all of like couple of minutes to prep a bunch of these frames to make sure that you don't have the C clip rubbing
[00:53:17] on the inside of the thingy issue the V3 frames are not as bad the light AF frames are you have have to do this on the light AF frames and drill it from the bottom like this so that you're
[00:53:32] pulling the material outwards don't do it like this because then you're going to have that extra material potentially rubbing on the C clip itself pull the pull the plastic out in this this
[00:53:46] direction cool and that's it that's all you need to do well worth it because the they're the the two best frames in my experience and opinion the light f is super
[00:54:00] interesting it's got you got to have it on a light build I saw somebody on our Discord though the other day broke a light AF frame after like just a few batteries so that's a little
[00:54:14] bit concerning I don't love that but I've had pretty decent luck with my white one and I don't know what his build weighed I'm going to say for sure if you're going to do a light AF frame
[00:54:27] make sure your build is like less than 18 gram mine is 16 12 gram and I think that's a part of the reason why it's survived is because it's nice and light I fire the drill up all the way so
[00:54:41] that it wobbles a little bit and takes off a little bit of extra plastic is the sound of the drill absolutely horrifying good just Kidd there you go there's the two clear
[00:55:02] plastic frames which are the ones that I'm going to use first I don't know what I'm going to do with these white light AF frames but I'll just put them on the ground for the time being
[00:55:14] so I'm GNA I'm actually going to move a bunch of builds into these frames I'm glad I got those clear Mobula 6 canopies I'm about to have a whole bunch of clear on clear on clear
[00:55:26] builds the 32,000 KV rig is going to get moved into one of these namely I'm excited for that this will be cool I'm super interested to see what an Ultimate Freestyle tiny whoop like the
[00:55:45] heavier setup is like in a light AF frame I think it'll get it'll come down to like 17 and a half grams so what is it like to be under 18 grams but still have like 32,000 KV maybe even 36,000 KV
[00:56:01] although I don't know about that I I think I might keep the 36,000 KV build in the heavier V3 the heavier and more durable V3 frame just kind of makes sense what I mean but we'll
[00:56:13] see maybe I lose my mind and move that over okay there little bits of plastic absolutely everywhere let me keep working through chat by the way I I very subtly mentioned it before but C
[00:56:32] fpv.one ways that you can support me so that I can keep testing this stuff to give you guys all the good info so that you buy the right thing streaming schedule on YouTube link is here patreon
[00:56:43] as it says definitely does help me the most for $3 a month which is only 10 cents a day you can jump onto the patreon you're going to get email notifications of all the live streams
[00:56:52] and all the extra stuff over there there's a bunch of technical articles on that website there's a private private YouTube playlist you're going to get with 80 some videos sketchy flying
[00:57:01] half edits patreon only live streams that we've done lots of good stuff you'll get access to the Facebook groups you'll get full Discord access and we're going to be doing more cool stuff
[00:57:13] on like the Discord groups that are patreon only there's like toothpick and whoop patreon only Discord text Channel that's like got really cool stuff in it and me screaming and yelling
[00:57:25] about breaking the the the AIO on the 2S walk steel buil and then a whole bunch of Etsy where you can buy some fun stickers and random Hardware Teespring where you can get some cool
[00:57:38] shirts Fiverr where where you can work one-on-one with me to really get good fast or just message me and we'll plan it out schedule it out and then a whole bunch of affiliate links use
[00:57:48] affiliate links my friends change your bookmarks change your URL bar Auto suggestions to affiliate links and then you don't even have to think about it's free money for Content creators and
[00:57:58] then they can do a better job and help you not buy garbage it's a self-sustaining ecosystem my friends there's a there's a quote from a movie that starts with self-sustaining but
[00:58:10] then it's more sords it's like four sords in a row self- sustaining back to the chat notice says what would be a better frame than the BetaFPV 75x for that build that was at 3:15
[00:58:24] it's now 45 minutes later later I'm not sure which build you're talking about notice but if you're talking about the 2S build I don't know yet I haven't tested the frames
[00:58:36] thoroughly enough the Mobula 75 V3 has been durable but the the 2mm tall Motors sit really low in the frame so you kind of have to run these risers which I'm going to I haven't tried yet
[00:58:53] so we'll see how that goes I'm going to need longer screws for those risers I don't know how that's going to work but and then the Mobula 7 V4 frame I haven't even tested yet so I I really
[00:59:04] don't have the answer at the moment the Mobula 7 V3 frame is is the one to have for some other reasons that we'll talk about in a bit when I get caught up here crom says got spikes in the gyro axis
[00:59:22] is causing the whoop to Twitch super xhd happens even on USB I think the gyro is bad DOA but maybe the magic fix swapped for a 2 ons one and it's good I saw you working with brain's B beans
[00:59:34] on the Discord I don't know a single thing that he doesn't know so it sounds like Brandon is maybe telling you that it's because the WalkSnail AIO is on top I don't know
[00:59:50] I'm not going to have any kind of a magic fix that Brandon's not he's looking at the actual data I I try a lot of different combinations of Parts but I've I unfortunately I I don't know
[01:00:01] I I I can't help if anybody can help though it's gonna be Brandon bad says need a t-shirt that says YouTube did the thing I know right fly zone FPV saysparkour guy says oh God not gonna say
[01:00:16] it Kevin summer says YouTube does it less but now you say YouTube did the thing again it's true I don't know what else to say YouTube scrolled me to the back of chat to the bottom of
[01:00:26] chat it's too many syllables F lojo putting the C fv.com Link in the chat thank you brother prot prot to goes in the house he says the f word I love rabbit holes I'm trying it's not
[01:00:38] working but I'm trying to not curse as much by the way I I I on the last live stream I I confused proton to go with somebody else and said like hey doesn't like me I was I was
[01:00:52] being stupid but I confused him with with somebody else and I I shouldn't have said that it was stupid of me I apologized to him he reached out to me I was likeno I'm cool
[01:01:03] with you and so I apologize to him but I I apologize again there was I don't know sometimes I I think everybody hates me sometimes I'm right about it too but I I've I've there's a community
[01:01:19] of people that I've gotten a ton of hate from over the last year and I've I've gotten some of those people confused in my head and that sucks and I should just not say anything
[01:01:31] about it but I'm a loudmouth [@$#%] and I talk for 10 hours a week so I got to say something godamn it so I apologize brother thanks for hanging out though
[01:01:43] I I am way behind on chat so for like three minutes I'm going to go fast through the chat and then I'm going to get to a good question and just lose my mind ready noce with a $5 Super Chat
[01:01:57] thank you brother he says yoink is the opposite of Yeet I.E the the Lord yeth and the Jesus the Lord yeth and the Lord yth away I didn't know that I didn't know that y was the opposite of Yeet
[01:02:11] I'll I'll ask our 14-year-old aelia that and I'm sure she'll sigh Brandon Bean says just to be clear I don't know if I'm helping anything at all I just want to make it easy to tune and then
[01:02:24] move and then move on tune it you'll see Brandon I'm sure that you're making it better man you you are incredibly knowledgeable with tuning it's always blows me away I've gotten
[01:02:35] really good at tuning by ear and by sight but there are situations where you have to use blackbox and maybe someday I'll my engineering brain will be strong enough to
[01:02:52] actually understand blackbox tuning but Brandon thank you brother we bed says yes I wonder what I was talking about at 321 parkour guy says lift off micr drone Sim has a tiny Hooter Hoover just
[01:03:09] to try for fun that's awesome good for liftoff that's super cool Striker says if you boycott roor Riot why aren't you boycotting get FPV and race day quads that's all it is in my opinion
[01:03:21] it's true at this point pretty much all of the resellers and or the manufacturers are either willingly I'm sorry either knowingly or unknowingly sending big orders of BNF's to places in
[01:03:42] the world that I mean just right there somebody orders 10 or 20 or 100 binding flies are you really going to ask questions are you really going to send a follow-up email to the and say
[01:03:56] you're not using these for bad things are you and then are they really going to reply back with well yes we are indeed we are using them for terrible things they're going to either not
[01:04:09] respond at all first the first of all the email is not going to go out it's just not you're not going to send out an email in response to a $10,000 order and say I'm not sure if I want
[01:04:21] to take your money right I wish that that resellers did that but that's a pretty unrealistic thing it's just it's just one big [@$#%] show the the the toothpaste is out
[01:04:40] of the tube and we we can't get it back in and so are we really going to like get that upset about the last company to kind of do it on one hand it's kind of like well kud to them for waiting
[01:04:56] this long for holding out this long as I said weeks ago when all this [@$#%] went down like I wish they'd hit's better that's all I can like realistically that's all I can say is that I wish
[01:05:10] they'd hit's better I I I wish that it wasn't so incredibly obvious with that press release that it was like roor Riot's going to be building drones to use in military [@$#%] I hate that I
[01:05:21] absolutely hate the whole thing but it you kind of can't boycott rotor Riot without boycotting the rest of the FPV industry on the other hand I I get the other side of it where rotor Riot is in
[01:05:38] theory supposed to be in a position where like they are they're bringing new people into the hobby so are the other companies though that the new people are buying their
[01:05:50] stuff from somewhere like Rite has a little bit more of a like like they're the big YouTube personality which is why I wish they'd hit it
[01:06:01] better I don't know man the whole thing sucks but look at this I accidentally bought these BT 3.0 to balance lead adapters and then when once they arrived this is a couple weeks ago once
[01:06:20] they arrived I was like [@$#%] what am I going to even do with these I I don't have anything that I can do with these the other day when I opened up the emac rig it had this little USB charger that
[01:06:31] has 2S balance lead ports on it I can now charge three bt30 batteries at a time happy [@$#%] days everything is meant to work out in your face I can't believe i i i
[01:06:57] i sometimes things just fall into place my friends sometimes it all just works out this will save me from buying a vifly tooth ster charger for I don't know 25 bucks or whatever so this is
[01:07:12] great yay oh and it's got fancy flashing green lights more flashing LEDs at this at this desk that's the real winner here all right cmk dropping the cv.com
[01:07:33] link thank you homie Striker says what do you think about a good type of quad for front door micro duckus that flies well and is quiet kind of like a 3-in toothpick but 2.5 in sounds like
[01:07:50] 2.5 in toothpick I don't have quite enough to go but it sounds like maybe you you answered your own question with two with 3 in kind of like a 3-in toothpick but two 2.5 so 2.5 in toothpick I think
[01:08:04] maybe that's it and Yoki says r36 props are amazing well that's cool somebody's going to get a set of them along with a large size t-shirt Brandon M Bean says how quickly
[01:08:16] does FAA Grant a waiver for over 250 operations over people they're saying that they're going to Grant the waivers within I think they said two three days I haven't put one in yet but
[01:08:29] they the they said look we we've we've looked at all of the operations over people you guys haven't heard anyone yet they also said we looked at the we looked at the waivers that you guys have
[01:08:43] submitted and we only approve and we we shot 97% of them down but they basically said like look we we relook at the rules we we looked at what you guys are doing you're doing a great
[01:08:55] great job you're not hitting people we're going to up it from 250 to 400 as long as you're willing to put a waiver in and the waiver is now way more of a pain in the ass but it's they're not
[01:09:07] that bad and they've specifically said we are going to approve the waivers and we're going to approve them quick they used to say well we're going to approve them in 90 days and so most
[01:09:17] people myself included just wouldn't bother putting a waiver in because [@$#%] nobody gives you 90 days notice to when an event is going to be and so really interesting stuff from
[01:09:27] the FAA a few weeks ago three four weeks ago I think the Flight Academy put out a video on it and that's the one that I watched with the info that I'm going off
[01:09:39] of Walter says the smallest tie wraps I use for battery me too cmk says pyro drone is still 100% Community zero warmongering are they really good for them I have always ordered from pyrro drone quite a bit
[01:10:00] and I'm glad for that they've always had a really great selection of Parts they ship fast they don't have an affiliate program they kind of have an affiliate program now but like kind it's
[01:10:10] it's a weird one and so that's really good to know cmk thank you for that brother so if you don't if you don't want to support warmongering nonsense there you go there is still
[01:10:24] somewhere that you can go that being said the manufacturers that manufacture the parts that pyro sells sell direct so your hands are still dirty but at least you're not supporting a manufacturer and
[01:10:40] a reseller I guess I don't know man it's a nightmare Sher says the beta cross AO will fit the Mobula 7 V4 yep the the BetaFPV cross style aiio will fit any frame Juju says
[01:10:56] what would be the best motor and frame for a 3-in WalkSnail build I have no idea I haven't done one yet and there is no such thing as best there's just different there are
[01:11:08] bigger Motors that'll be heavier but more grunty there are lighter Motors that'll have potentially a better power to weight ratio but be more floaty so no such thing as best just
[01:11:18] different a really good choice in sort of like a middle of the road motor for a three build is going to be the t-motor 1404 4500 maybe 4600 KV that is a great motor but it's not the heaviest
[01:11:36] most grunty motor it's not the lightest motor and maybe you want the heaviest motor maybe you want the lightest motor I I have no idea I have nothing to go off of from what would be the
[01:11:45] best motor and frame frame at the moment I think it's the quad mola siren F3 the reason why there maybe is the best frame is because there kind of aren't any 3-in freestyle frames
[01:12:01] and so we're in a weird scenario where there might actually be a best 3-in freestyle frame so quad mola F3 Kevin T says same with fly high FPV even though Dave stock is somewhat
[01:12:19] limited there you go there are shops there are shops cmk says best way to secure mmcx from backing out on hard hits don't use mmcx that is why I don't use MC mmcx
[01:12:34] because I've never been able to figure out a way to keep it from from falling out although as I say that now I bet you running a big bead of E6000 around it would get the job done but I
[01:12:49] just don't use it I use UFL because it doesn't pop off on hard hits and then I'll just I'll do like a UFL and then a piece of shrink wrap over it or on the tiny whoops I do a little blob
[01:13:02] E6000 but I bet you mmcx with a full bead you're going to have to run the E6000 all the way around on the UFL you can just put a blob of E6000 on one side and that's totally sufficient but
[01:13:13] on the mmcx you're going to have to run an entire bead all the way around 360 cuz those mmcx love to just pop out zuga says hi he also says where in Europe can I buy prop Hopper I
[01:13:30] don't know brother I apologize I'm in America eating cheeseburgers and hot dogs and just punishing people that don't deserve to be punished I don't I don't know
[01:13:43] where to buy anything in Europe really can I get a channel says what's up I do have on my Discord though there's a check text Channel called called it's in the patreon section so
[01:13:57] you're going to have to give me 10 cents a day to get access to it all FPV retailers is the text channel in the patreon only section of my Discord and that is a gigantic list of resellers
[01:14:12] so maybe there's a couple new resellers and then you search for the for the item that you're looking for and maybe you can find it Brent Anderson says canopy not
[01:14:23] frame oh oh oh oh oh in reference to the air 65 I don't have the canopies I I don't like the canopies so I have no idea I don't like those g string style canopies they can go to
[01:14:43] hell sorry brother Walter says let it run the other way that was at 356 I don't know what that's in reference to notice says the little piece of foam in the Cockroach V3 frame
[01:14:56] that's supposed to go under the motors no under the frame on the very bottom of the frame but I don't like it because it can it can touch the the motor shaft so
[01:15:08] don't use it in my opinion it's supposed to go under the frame so that if you land on something like fragile you don't scratch it but no you're you're
[01:15:22] fine king dingling with a $5 Super Chat he says thanks I'll have to check looks like I missed it finally a g string CH canopy that might last sorry King dingling I don't I don't use those
[01:15:32] those g string canopies I am anti-g string as as you should be as well in both FPV and the beach cmk dropping the cpv my mouth thank you brother notice says thank you you're certainly welcome
[01:15:50] Walter Walter says F them ORF BTW says I'm ordering on AliExpress and there isn't the Cockroach and light AF for 65mm what other frames would you recommend for Mobula 6 2024 I would
[01:16:08] recommend the Mobula 6 2024 frame it's one of the best so stick with that frame and it's okay it's not as good as the the the Cockroach frames but it's okay and it's and it's one of
[01:16:21] the best for sure so just stick with the frame that it has maybe maybe pick up an extra I don't even know if you'll need an extra though because it's a really durable
[01:16:31] frame bent FPV says just curious are you completely giving up on 65 WalkSnail not at all no the the 65mm WalkSnail RC car chasing rig will stay together
[01:16:47] forever and then this sitting right here next to me cuz I wanted to talk about it is the 65mm WalkSnail freestyle frame I've spent hours and hours and hours and hours over the last couple of days
[01:17:06] taking my 300 MH 1S BT 2.0 batteries and running them through my big boy charger to take a look at the internal resistances to try to figure
[01:17:30] out all right so this is on Friday's live stream I talked about an experience that I had way long ago where early days of FPV for me I pushed 2S Beyond its limit and I
[01:17:51] had these toothpicks that would eat the batteries that I was running in 2 minutes and I would notice that the batteries would come off really hot and the batteries would not last very
[01:18:04] long 2 minutes runtime and basically what I realized is that two minutes run time is so short and you are hammering on that lipo so hard thus it getting really hot that it damages the Lipo
[01:18:22] and you end up just killing those lipos in 10 or 15 Cycles not killing them but the internal resistances get so high that they start to perform like ass they'll keep going but they perform like
[01:18:36] [@$#%] and I've been noticing lately that my 300mah BT 2.0 batteries have been fallen off the cliff and have really been suffering performance- wise after 10 15 20 Cycles
[01:18:57] this walks now freestyle rig with 40,000 KV Motors each batteries in 2 minutes the drift car chasing rig is not eating batteries in 2 minutes it's getting to like 2 minutes and
[01:19:16] 30ish so I'm gonna leave it alone I I might go a little bit lower on the KV for the motors or maybe not because 99% of the battery I'm just cruising it around which is why I'm getting that extra
[01:19:30] runtime out of it so this rig I might I might tear down because I don't want to I don't want to keep killing batteries I'm going to fly this though I I I I want to
[01:19:53] take another look at the runtime on this and I want to see if I limp this thing around the house if I fly this like a little cop is it still going to demolish
[01:20:06] batteries here's the thing having a 65mm build with a canopy like this and then flying it like a cop doesn't necessarily make sense it would kind of make sense to turn this into
[01:20:21] another drift car chasing rig so there's no ducts in view the problem with that is it's zero uptilt as a cop like this it's a it's I've got the up tilt I've got a little bit of duct in view
[01:20:35] which annoys the hell out of me but I can actually run a little bit of up tilt the problem is as I run more up tilt I cruise faster and faster and faster and now it's going to start to have two-
[01:20:48] minute run times and Gobble up batteries I have a weird feeling that the only way to have have a 65mm WalkSnail build that doesn't demolish batteries is for the damn thing to be
[01:21:01] zero up tilt because zero up tilt you can only put the nose down a the the hooks for that are on the back here which is where the Batwing camera mount runs so ignore the canopy if this is a
[01:21:12] Batwing Mount zero up tilt if I put a little bit of nose down to start going forward with zero uptilt it's looking at the carpet and I'm not going to do one of these right with a bunch of uptilt
[01:21:24] here I can fly this thing like this and that's going to annihilate batteries I think so little bit more little bit more testing is needed here but I've got
[01:21:41] like I've got this set of Wee bed batteries with the blue marker on them that are like I've only cycled maybe like 10 15 times and they don't fly right anymore I've got
[01:21:55] this set of tattoo batteries that I didn't marker up these don't fly right anymore I've got these dog comom batteries these don't fly right anymore and I bought all of these at roughly the
[01:22:09] same time and it was right around the time that I was doing all of the 65mm WalkSnail testing so correlation does not equal causation I think is the saying I might
[01:22:21] be backwards on that but I'm starting to see a Trend and so this just might not be a good setup this might be a setup that just annihilates batteries and I'm not willing to have
[01:22:39] batteries that after 10 or 15 Cycles [@$#%] the bed and start performing really bad that's a bit much so I might tear this down and just leave it Al and I'll either convert it to another RC
[01:22:54] drift car chasing rig or tear it all the way down and do something else with it put it in a 75mm frame I also unfortunately noticed on this the other day yesterday that one of the myy cables
[01:23:08] so I I've I've been sketched out with the way that I've been building these but it's kind of the only way I don't know how else to do it you might be able to see there there's one
[01:23:20] myy cable off on the left there that is now broken I think I think the damn thing still works though so I and I've always wondered why the hell are there so many so I think that that's an
[01:23:32] unused little ribbon cable but that's not a great sign that's a sign that running this cable up and over is not great and I kind of have to do that because of the cable length but
[01:23:53] food for thought I don't know I'm going to keep an eye on it on the other ones I don't but I'm glad I noticed it so we'll see this needs to get flown a little bit more I need to check
[01:24:07] how hot the batteries are when they come off of it and there's a pretty decent chance that I might tear it down I keep forgetting I want to put this Ultra Ultra Ultra lightweight rig back
[01:24:18] together so that we can actually fly in a little bit what time is it 4:27 Jesus it's getting late all right let's keep going Striker says I wish they would bring back the BetaFPV HX 115 LR frame 2
[01:24:40] and a half inch props flew a friends and loved it there are not many if any it's hard to find 2 and a half inch propeller toothpick frames you can just use a 3-in toothpick frame and just put
[01:24:53] 2 and2 in props on it but it makes more sense to have the 2 and a half inch frame it's going to be a little bit lighter A Little Bit Stronger Brandon Bean says the Ava 2 is sub
[01:25:04] 400 just weighed mine 391.41 or DJI found out about the the potential for a 400 it's just awful convenient that the avat 2 is 391 gram what I mean so I I thought
[01:25:29] that was super interesting when that first came out the Vada one is not the iada one is over 400 gram which I'm sure has some people Furious but welcome to FPV zuga says did you
[01:25:46] consider 85 millimet WalkSnail build sorry would you kind of sort of I have a bunch of 885mm frames in the tiny whoop box over there I'm kind of curious the problem is that 85mm frames
[01:26:04] are even bigger even heavier there's going to be more props in view going to have to run even bigger Motors an even bigger battery and previously apparently until the
[01:26:20] hglrc 85mm frame for a plastic frame to deal with that amount of extra weight bigger Motors bigger props bigger battery bigger frame they became super fragile
[01:26:38] apparently the hdlc frame which is even heavier than all of the others go figure with extra weight tends to come extra durability as long as you put that extra plastic in the right places
[01:26:51] obviously right but I'm sort of curious I'm not very curious though one of the biggest issues for me is that the 85mm fra I already have a hard time with 75 millim frames trying
[01:27:11] to keep the ducts out of view I don't like the way the ducts look in the bottom of the camera feed or footage 85 is going to be even worse so you're going to have to run even more
[01:27:23] uptilt just to have the same amount of duct in View and you're getting to the point where you're going so fast with a tiny whoop that it's one of the points of having ducts is to go slow not
[01:27:37] to go fast if you want to go fast build a toothpick where there's no massive aerodynamically draggy ducts in the way right so the 885mm tiny whoop thing it's kind of like well at that point build a
[01:27:50] toothpick and you'll get a bunch of other benefits but potentially what is nice about the whoops is that they they track a straighter line which makes hitting gaps easier and so I am going to try it at
[01:28:10] some point but it is super low priority because I've flown 85mm whoops before and it's just I don't know they're awful heavy so so at some point I will do an 85 mil build because I do have a
[01:28:28] bunch of the frames but it's pretty low priority also because it has to be 2S sure you could build one with 1S but even analog it's going to be so it's going to be the same weight if not
[01:28:45] heavier than my 75mm WalkSnail build that I've not had great luck with on 1S right so a lot of the problems that we're having on the 1S WalkSnail build we're also going to have on an 85mm
[01:28:58] analog build so then it's like well all right for 85mm let's go WalkSnail well now it's snowballing out of control and I I'm probably going to try
[01:29:13] it because I am curious but I don't know it's an awful big pla it's awful big for a plastic frame and there 's going to be an awful lot of duct in View
[01:29:27] and I don't know but we will see I shall test it the HD if the HD lrc frame is durable enough and if we can find big enough Motors that are a high enough KV it could be interesting
[01:29:44] but I'm not holding my breath because there's going to be loads of duct in View and that just drives me mad there we go go we're back together I'm tempted to put these ghostly white
[01:29:59] beta FPV 129s propellers on for like a full ghosty kind of setup right but instead I I had changed my mind I I I decided to do this but then I changed my mind cuz I realized that these motors
[01:30:19] have a little bit of red on them these Mobula 6 2024 V1 motors have a little red lining there and I'm an ultra nerd and I realized at some point that Weeble has these 1219 s's in Weeble red
[01:30:40] they they must have had GemFan do a run in custom red for them that's the props that this thing did have on it I pulled those propellers off because I was like o I'm going to treat this thing
[01:30:49] I'm treating it to a new white ort antenna I'm also going to treat it to a fresh set of props because good God a fresh set of tiny woop props is a magical thing and so I've
[01:31:01] changed my mind back and we're going to go with the red props I need another right side High I still have .99 mm drill bits my friends and it's kind of important to drill these
[01:31:17] little props out just a slight little tiny amount to make sure that you don't wreck your 0702 Motors I don't have any more of the pin VI but I do you don't really technically need these it
[01:31:31] it does make it easier to do this but you can just use a pair of pliers and take a .99 mm drill bit of which I have a bunch for sale pass it down the the center hole of the propeller just to
[01:31:44] make sure that it's going to slide onto and off of your motor shafts without ruining your Motors and so if you need a .99 mm drill bit let me know I'll sell it to you for the price of
[01:31:58] shipping but do me a favor get get something else get like go to my Etsy store and get find a couple of stickers that you like or find some random Hardware that I have on there that
[01:32:09] you need and buy a sticker and a and a .99 mm drill bit I I I sell pretty much all my stuff for like five bucks five bucks is is each thing so that five bucks covers
[01:32:29] shipping so if you just want the the drill bit's going to be five bucks in shipping but hook a brother up find like a sticker and send me 10 bucks because when you buy a 0.99
[01:32:42] millimeter drill bit from me for five bucks I pay $4 and something for shipping so help me make something I'm more than willing to if if it's the only thing you need it's fine
[01:32:59] um but if you want to help me keep doing this fulltime and keep buying stuff that's helpful and testing and all that good [@$#%] grab something else if you don't mind this one is fitting a
[01:33:14] little bit too loose so I'm going to take my least favorite pair of sharp tipped tweezers I'm going to put them into the mount hole of the propeller and I'm just going to scrape it around in there this is
[01:33:29] going to ra this is going to scrape some plastic up so that the propeller fits a lot better on the motor shaft if you have a propeller that is flying off the motor shaft and you don't want to get
[01:33:42] rid of it this is a way to bring it back to life it works shockingly well the worst part is when you accidentally stab yourself but you'll be all right you'll get the hang of
[01:33:56] it got to put a little bit of pressure on it which is why you end up stabbing yourself every so often and now it fits on there perfectly these 129s propellers the propeller
[01:34:13] base is a little bit skinnier and so when you put it down on these HappyModel Motors that have long motor shafts you kind of stab yourself a little bit which is why I keep going ouch but it's
[01:34:24] important to get the propeller all the way down in the motor shaft so it's worth the pain my friends keep telling yourself that as you go ouch there it is it's back it is going to be a little
[01:34:34] bit heavier with the ort antenna so this is the the super lightweight rig this was 16.4 gram on a horrible antenna now it's going to be a little bit more I'm thinking it's going to be
[01:34:47] 16.6 that it is 16.6 gram still hilariously lightweight it's a Mobula 6 2024 version one with the direct soldered motors which is why it's so light it's been swapped over into a
[01:35:01] newbie drone light AF frame the 180° BT 2.0 which is actually a little bit heavier but it's easier to grab ort micro V antenna RunCam nano3 camera with the old school Mobula 6 canopy
[01:35:16] that's where it saves weight as well this is maybe my favorite build at the moment let's do it t-shirt giveaway godamn it before everybody runs away large T-shirt with some other fun stuff man my
[01:35:34] allergies are about to go nuts I can feel them large T-shirt with an old school scrolling scrolling scrolling thing that I used to say all the time bman made this for me it's just a little
[01:35:45] too big for me that's the logo on the back if you're an OG fan of the channel or you just want to look like an OG fan of the channel this is how you get that done hopefully you're a size
[01:35:58] large and so you can buy a ticket we'll get some super chats going you can buy a ticket to win this for three bucks three bucks per ticket super chat or PayPal ready go I'll
[01:36:17] give you a couple of minutes it's also going to come with a set of these 5136 HQ r36 teal propellers newbie drone sticker candy size large if you're an extra large this will still fit you this is a
[01:36:38] big large some some large t-shirts I do fit into most I don't I mean I fit into all of them but I swim in them large SL extra large anybody want it sounds like somebody wants it Juju
[01:36:58] says is your xnova 1804 still viable for 3in frame for sure it is xnova 1804s are great Motors those are some of the bigger heavier more grunty 3-in Motors if you get those Motors in the
[01:37:12] M5 version you can run the t-motor 3140 propellers on it that's my favorite little combo there strer says I remember you saying that the v505 four and a halfs had something
[01:37:24] wrong with them I hope they're fine really good motor size they're just fragile that's what's wrong with them Mac FPV says something he says long time since I've been able to watch his stream good
[01:37:36] to have you back brother Andrew Taylor says what's your approximate time frame for the 5-in Joshua Bard build I'm thinking of getting that as my first 5-inch quad no time soon but Joshua
[01:37:48] has a build series follow along with that it's all good the frame is fine nothing wrong with it no reason not to just dive into that build Joshua does a much better job with build tutorials
[01:38:00] than I do so follow along with his and do that build whenever Cloud Hopper says doesn't the backwing cameram mount let you do at least a little up tilt sort of but then when you crash
[01:38:10] it'll it'll kind of settle and you really end up with like zero up tilt I got to dive back into that project with Timmons he was working on mounts with a little bit of uptilt and then
[01:38:22] I got super busy with the WalkSnail stuff but I got to dive back into that one of these days strer says the hx15 LR was a 3-inch frame but his buddy ran it on two and a half inch props
[01:38:35] gotcha two and a half is cool Minos 133 says have you noticed any differences with props in slout testing I've noticed no negatives to props in which is awesome potentially there is
[01:38:51] the positive I have I think I've noticed that when I go up really high chop throttle and Let It Drop straight down with props in just like with cow whoops it just pummels straight down I I think
[01:39:04] that these tiny whoops do just like with cow whoops dive zero throttle better props in which is cool the big thing though is that there's no negatives from going props
[01:39:18] out to props in that I've noticed so there's a potential benefit props in so I'm putting all my tiny whoops on props in at this point dead stiff says put some E6000 on the mippy for strain
[01:39:30] relief that's a really good idea that's a really really good idea that would keep it from rubbing on the on the PCB Bob Bruce says would you be interested in selling your custom 33,000
[01:39:44] KB Motors I love them on my 75mm WalkSnail builds and seems like you don't I have them on a 65mm frame with the GemFan 1608 Tri blades that have a one they're drilled for 1 mm molded
[01:40:00] for 1 and a half millim shaft and I think they're going to stay there because that's a fun at some point I'm going to take one of these free I think it's going to be this hammered ass
[01:40:12] 36,000 KB build I think I'm going to pull the camera canopy AIO out of this and put it into that frame because I flew a few batteries with those on that setup and it was like shockingly good
[01:40:24] it's like a big Power heavyweight frame which is kind of cool for 65 so I'm going to run them for a little bit if I Bob stick around if you see me fall out of love with them message me
[01:40:39] again and I I might be willing to sell them but for right now I do want to try them again on that setup but there's a chance that I will decide that I don't want them
[01:40:48] anymore don't hold your breath though because those blue blue ow bells that I have on them are like the old school ones that you can't get anymore and I have like this weird attachment to them
[01:41:01] so I'll probably end up keeping those to be totally honest on the 75mm builds I I think 33,000 KV is a little bit too much 30,000 seems to be really the max 27,000 seems to be The
[01:41:14] Sweet Spot so and they got awful hot if if you're doing a 75mm WalkSnail build 802s get kind of hot on 1S bad said CMYK dropping the cv.com link in the chat thank you for that bad
[01:41:32] says I tried a 0.95 mm drill bit and the props are now too loose measured the motor shaft on with bet FPV Motors and they were 085 millimeter different different manufacturers Speck out
[01:41:45] their motor shaft slightly different so you got to be careful the HappyModel Motors though they seem to be true 1 Mill mm motor shafts James Rey says have any of us gotten but bad you
[01:41:59] should be able to fix those props with the with the sharp tips tweezers trick James Rey says have any of us gotten so into FPV that they that they learn to speak Chinese was thinking about it I
[01:42:09] don't know of anybody that has but man that' be a good idea just MO is in the house he says just finished building my light AF frame never used by blades but wanted to go for it for more flight time
[01:42:18] you might like the by blades they're a different flight feel for sure here's what I'm going to say the by blades are going to be harder on the frame if that light AF frame breaks really quickly I'm going to
[01:42:35] blame it on the by blades the by blades are going to when when you crash the by blade is going to move out of the way and the duct is going to have to really Bend a tri blade it's never going to
[01:42:46] fully be able to push the propeller out of the way because there's going to be another blade there so Tri blades help frame last longer so food for thought there cool a couple people
[01:43:00] are interested in in the T-shirt let's do it thanks for the support my friends let me go to the raffle here and I'm going to open up a fresh tab cool clad Hopper with a $9 Super
[01:43:15] Chat he says three tickets Please he wants to look like an OG I don't think cloud Hopper has been around long enough to have heard me say scrolling scrolling scrolling B
[01:43:26] with a 9B Super Chat he says ticket me up I think I think that's three correct me if I'm wrong one two three I'm not up on the current conversion rate but I think it's damn near one to one at this point thank
[01:43:42] you brother CIS left PV with a $12 he says I want to look like an OG fan LOL thank you brother it's all good you you guys can I mean you can always just go back and watch some of the old live
[01:43:54] streams they're pretty good I was much angrier back then admittedly Nimbus with a $3 Super Chat he want in I think these are four people that have never heard me say it before so you guys are all if if
[01:44:09] you especially if you win it you have to go back you're you're contractually I'll I'll send a contract with the shirt you have to sign it and send it back that says you will go back
[01:44:20] and watch some old streams until you find where I say scrolling scrolling scrolling and here's the real kick in the dick none of those streams are time I don't think any of them were
[01:44:32] timestamped so that's the requirement that I didn't tell you about now now you're stuck now you're stuck CIS FPV says Cloud Hopper there's one with 10 degrees uptilt I got it from the
[01:44:44] Discord that's right Timmons did make batwing mounts with a little bit uptilt I don't have any of them though Bob Bruce says you got it dude bar Bru also says I know I sent them
[01:44:55] to you I know I sent them to you I would like them back H all right well if you send them to me chances are I will send them back Bob do me a favor because I like
[01:45:13] I I do want to play around with them with a 65mm build but realistically I'm not going to keep like a big heavy 65mm build together if you're legitimately going to use them do
[01:45:25] me a favor shoot me a message on like Discord or somewhere and say and I'm pretty sure that they have the bells specifically the bells that you sent me but there are two versions
[01:45:40] get this there are two versions of first run blue ow Bells and it's the it's the in the I think the ones that you sent me are the ones that I used and it's just like it I think they're damn
[01:45:55] near the prototypes it's just like i g o it's like a super simple font so if those are specifically the ones that you sent me I will almost certainly get them back to you but I I
[01:46:11] definitely want to test the 65 mil setup one more time so message me as a reminder Andor just stay tuned Cisco says I've went back and seen you in the closet sized office
[01:46:23] have you seen me have you seen me did I say it in any of those Cisco and I I shorted you I need to put you on here one more time all right here you are Sis's going on here four
[01:46:34] times all right let's see who wins the T-shirt here it goes friends thanks for buying some tickets people very cool of you this is how we keep this thing going man getting
[01:46:49] creative doing things super chats paypals all the good stuff Cisco one look at that perfect Cisco shoot me your hold on I might have it s i s ke L let me take a quick
[01:47:09] look let me see if I have your address in patreon s i ke L and yep I got your address as long as your patreon address is up to date you're good to go so I'm just going
[01:47:22] to write your name down s i s k e l awesome FP you got it brother very cool if but like I said if if you haven't heard me say scrolling scrolling scrolling you must watch more old
[01:47:44] streams until you hear me say it's won't take you that long sweet thanks fellas very cool of you let's do a little bit of flying here I'm all caught up it's
[01:47:57] time it's time let me put that there I'm going to put this here as a reminder and now my desk is a little bit more cleared off since I just put this back together let's put this up in the air I
[01:48:12] have a whole bunch of 300 MH batteries that need to get discharged so let's get that rolling ah hold on hold on come on computer you can do it's just a website it's just
[01:48:32] a website you can handle this I know you can do this little tiny computer you got this stamps.com are you kidding me right now there we go all right cool even better I just printed the
[01:48:54] goddamn label that way it's sitting over on the printer huzzah all right cool I think that's everything that oh [@$#%] oh [@$#%] I had a hard drive sitting on the printer oh God that jammed up so
[01:49:21] hard yikes well I think it's actually okay though I think it's okay wo know it's good it's all crumpled up but it's gonna be all right come
[01:49:38] on I know I know I know you're upset I know you're very upset printer come on now you're fine I had a my my two Drive hard drive inro enclosure has failed I need to find
[01:49:55] another white or silver two Drive enclosure I like the ones that are like little toasters that you just drop the hard drives down into like the naked hard drives just most
[01:50:08] says are you doing the Tyrant per roer thing I'm not no I I just I I can't do the I can't I can't do the like every week thing I it's just I I got I just there's weeks that I can't do
[01:50:23] anything and so you guys should do it though it's a it's a super cool thing run by a super cool dude let's compare lightweight low power to I say heavyweight but much heavier
[01:50:39] weight big Power how's that sound see if we can get the bottom of this whole people not liking me flying the lighter weight low power stuff deal I think I've I've actually started to
[01:50:55] notice it more all right I'm G to use the HD zero goggles because I'm making a concerted effort to put more [@$#%] up on Instagram and what I've realized I cannot believe that I didn't realize
[01:51:14] this but the WalkSnail files and the hd0 files I can actually drag and drop directly into Dropbox and then export that from the Dropbox app into my phone and Instagram will understand
[01:51:31] those those video files which is very cool and so there's going to be more like half ass edits on Instagram where I'm just using Instagram's editor the Instagram has
[01:51:50] updated their editor and it's actually lot better now so you guys will get to see more of my flying over on the Hipster gam let's do 300mah batteries on both of these to kind of even the
[01:52:06] playing field although I really do like no no no we're going to do the 260mah batteries on the lightweight rig we're going to make the lightweight rig as light as possible because it actually
[01:52:18] the lower KV Motors are a good match for the 200 60mah batteries these big hungry Motors kind of need the 300mah batteries you can technically run either battery on either but it makes
[01:52:32] sense this is the right combination here and we want these light AF frames to last so let's run a lighter weight battery it's all fine and dandy like doing things because you can but even
[01:52:48] better is to do things that make sense and work work together well the motors are spinning in the right direction actually what I meant to say is I put the props on
[01:53:01] right here we go Mobula 6 2024 V1 16.6 gram ort micro antenna wow oh my God just it changes direct I so I've been flying the 18 gram more powerful rigs quite a bit I
[01:53:21] cannot believe that just happened and I haven't flown one of these lightweight rigs in like an entire week and there's a there's a really big difference like this
[01:53:40] feels so lightweight everything about this is lightweight the feel the the the power to weight ratio with these lesser power motors than than what's on everything else you it's really
[01:54:06] noticeable whoa okay I really dig oh that would have been a big hit if that had hit the hardwood oh [@$#%] I'm not going to be able to get out of there am I
[01:54:20] no no oh oh no I hear footsteps I think they're just Teddy's footsteps though are those people footsteps those are people footsteps yay thank you oh there he is there's that little
[01:54:38] boy where do you think you're going where do you think you're going I ain't going in there whoa heit I can't I just caught that like the corrections and oh my God
[01:54:57] moments with these lightweight rigs who turned a little too much there it's way easier to make Corrections and catch yourself and not crash with
[01:55:14] these hysterically lightweight rigs you you wouldn't think that between 16.6 and 18 gram there would be this this much of a difference but man there is you're just going to have to take my
[01:55:25] word for it I have no reason to lie hopefully you could see the the the little bit of Jello-O in there it was just doing it I I was oh okay I was just at whatever the little
[01:55:43] throttle range is that that happens these 13 GemFan 1319 props are must for these lower KV Motors these are either 28 or 29,000 KV 07 02s man I'm flying like a bag of smashed
[01:56:03] [@$#%] right now woo ah I guess I'm having to adjust to the lighter weight rig that would be my guess whoa I mean that that was just that wasn't an adjustment issue that was just
[01:56:29] me flying like an idiot as was that Jesus come on I might also be getting used to the WalkSnail rigs with the higher latency and there's a chance that a part of this adjustment is me
[01:56:49] getting used to the lower latency now like I'm doing stuff early too early basically what I'm saying hard to tell very very very hard to
[01:57:02] tell let's do another 260 and then we're going to move over to big Power big KV right here we go why is it oh I guess plugging the battery in helps I guess I'll do it I guess I'll plug the
[01:57:27] battery in Jesus kind of a peon kind of Mickey Mouse [@$#%] is this oh man this tune is at the limit [@$#%] oh got away with murder on that one oh that was a hell of a little run
[01:57:58] there ah oh no uhoh no no no get out of there come on get out of there no come on no come on what oh [@$#%] oh come on get careful easy yay ah okay we are cooking now I thought it
[01:58:38] would maybe go into that Cube but not quite ah rejected ohI made so many Corrections on that I cannot believe that worked a oh no no no easy no no
[01:59:07] no oh God no [@$#%] J Gates Get me every time man I have to be so fast on this rig like I have to do everything very quickly all my inputs what that was just luck I'm not
[01:59:31] even going to lie I I was just holding on for dear life on that oh God oh my God what's happening I got really lucky and now not wow okay
[01:59:54] nope oh god oh that's unrecoverable it's back in the in the depths all right let me get my arm back into the depths see if I can grab it should be over here somewhere oh boy
[02:00:10] it's like reaching under the rug where are you you little [@$#%] where is it where are you there it is okay all right here we go a little bit more look how good
[02:00:31] this look how good this analog camera looks this is the new oh no I'm sorry this is the RunCam Nano 3 this is the emac Nano Hawk version though of the RunCam Nano 3 it's a direct
[02:00:49] solder runcam Nano 3 that get FPV cells it's very bright different RunCam Nano 3s look drastically different oh I just missed it that would have been cool woo fall in there ah nope wasn't
[02:01:17] going all the gaps not all the gaps some of the gaps all the gaps oh right in the face no don't you f you bastard okay another the run time with these 260 MH batteriescome
[02:01:53] on do not need a 300 for a super lightweight rig like this oh it just nipped the Newbie drone gate trying not to discharge these batteries down this
[02:02:11] slow I love when it spins around and then it ends up looking right at me it's such a such a nice little bonus let me see what running these batteries down that low let me see what
[02:02:25] they bounce back up to because I want to set the the low voltage warnings perfect perfect so once it cools down it's bouncing back up to 3.7 that's ideal for me that way
[02:02:40] you don't have to like storage charge the batteries you just run them when it tells you to land you come in and land and that's that right so that's the the the low battery warning in my
[02:02:52] opinion are perfect on this rig tells you to land you land bounces back up to 3.7 great you could make the argument that setting the the warnings 0.1 of an amp earlier of a volt earlier you would
[02:03:10] then have the batteries recover back up to 3.8 I would argue that you're not discharging that battery all the way down having a battery bounce back up to 3.7 that there are people that only want
[02:03:21] them to bounce [@$#%] up the 3.5 I'm trying to be a little bit nicer to these batteries though so man does this thing fly good frames fine no
[02:03:34] huge huge crashes but look how good that looks too man come on a handsome rig right there that is a handsome tiny whoop look at that fresh propellers these are actually fresh
[02:03:49] Motors too white ort micro antenna look at this look at this fancy [@$#%] I got the elrs antenna up as vertical as I can up next to the camera inside the the canopy there coming right off the build board
[02:04:11] rather handsome all right now we're going to go ass opposite to a there we go to a which one's not Beat to Death this one's not Beat to Death somewhat fresh Ultimate
[02:04:40] Freestyle tiny whoop with a 2g4 build micro or micro same camera canopy although this is the plug version of the runam Nano 3 so you'll notice it's a lot less contrasty which I kind of like
[02:04:53] V3 cockroach frame so not the light AF 36,000 KV 07 02s mega mega mega mega mega KV murders on this guy this one's going to come apart these motors are beat this is the other one
[02:05:12] that I pounded the snot out of at rampage this needs to be refreshed so I have a set of PCI 0702 29,000 KV motors for sale 1 mm motor shaft nothing wrong with these
[02:05:29] motors I just like the HappyModel Motors better if you're running a BetaFPV air 65 meteor 65 Mobula 6 2024 or Weeble FPV Crown frame these are taller Motors that'll make the that'll
[02:05:45] work really well in those frames these are Motors that are as tall as the BetaFPV Motors these also have very similar performance they might be the same motor as the BetaFPV 0702
[02:05:57] 29,000 so VCI 0702 29,000 is for sale message me if you're interested big Power big KV time let's experience the difference together my friends Brad Bond says I just oh Jesus I just
[02:06:20] got dumped while watching the Stream two years down the tram I have no family knowwhere to go Brad a that sucks a big bag of dicks but two years two years is not a lot to have
[02:06:33] lost and I say that as someone who lost 15 and so where you need to drive your brain right now is thank God I didn't lose two years in a day thank God I didn't lose three
[02:06:49] years and you didn't lose anything you learned a lot you had a lot of good memories well those memories are not tarnished but you had a got a lot of good times in those moments so you
[02:06:59] didn't lose anything you just get to bang somebody else you you you get to have new experiences with a new person and what I've definitely found is that every new person you you learn what you like
[02:07:20] and what you don't like and with each new person you choose more wisely and so this is a good thing it certainly doesn't feel like a good thing in the moment but if the
[02:07:34] other person wasn't H regardless of how happy you were if the other person wasn't happy it wasn't going to work anyway so the search continues enjoy the the single life and no rules
[02:07:50] and total freedom and some extra time while you have it and then you're going to pick somebody better I hate to be such an optimist cuz at the moment that you're at right now you're not
[02:08:01] looking for optimism but that's the [@$#%] truth what I just gave you is the truth feel free to mourn for as long as you need to that's important but it will get better from
[02:08:17] here again I know you don't want to hear that but that's the [@$#%] truth I went through this a little over about three and a half years ago so it's that feeling is still somewhat fresh
[02:08:33] and it sucks a big old bag of dicks but in the end it's going to be awesome I promise sorry brother just Mo says looking to buy fresh 300H 1S batteries got any
[02:08:52] recommendations if you're placing an order somewhere just get whatever they have they're all the same I've run all of them and none of them are are any different from one another
[02:09:04] big KV time 0702 36,000 wow okay way different hold on I think there's a little bit more up tilt on this which is really making it that much more insane a little too much
[02:09:24] uptilt you can tell by how much duct is in view you want a little bit more duct in view than than what you're seeing right now me tighten up the screws on the camera now they're pretty
[02:09:39] tight this one up okay that'll be a little bit better all right let's try this again big power mega KV wow are you [@$#%] kidding me right now how does that
[02:10:07] work I mean lower up tilt is a good thing and all but Jesus hell just Mo says how are you how are you able to stream your FPV feed there's these little boxes for like 25 bucks on Amazon search Amazon
[02:10:21] for FPV USB VTX you'll find them it's not actually a VTX it's a vrx but the descriptions all have VT all say VTX Jesus what an adjustment there is a crispness to these higher KV
[02:10:47] Motors that you don't get from the lower KV Motors but this rig is heavier Teddy spaghetti is at the front door I wonder why Maggie is sweeping I don't know why Teddy oh [@$#%] I forgot the Papasan
[02:11:08] is there come on Teddy Chase it Chase it Chase it more Chase it better good boy more buddy more more chasing hey doesn't he doesn't like to chase it when it's going slowly he
[02:11:33] likes to chase it when it's going 8,000 miles an hour you'll see oh [@$#%] I I I really like the lightweight builds I really like this build as well though oh look at this
[02:11:52] handsome little devil who that fan blade looked long as [@$#%] we were just rode all the way down it that was crazy come on come on get can't what what
[02:12:16] how what oh Teddy oh my God he's quartered me he looking totally quartered me that's like his dream he's like oh I got it right where I want it
[02:12:33] finally doggy he's so good he just knows to like not actually eat it like he just I don't know he wants to like taste it first or something it's hysterical woo big old
[02:12:54] weird like wobble there at the end that was strange oh God oh God oh no help me out Teddy I See Your Shadow I see Teddy can't you do something valuable and help it get unstuck
[02:13:14] not just like sniff it I'm asking for a lot here I'm asking him not to bite it but then I'm asking him to go bite it when it's stuck I'm asking a dog to understand when a tiny whoop is stuck
[02:13:25] and when it's not here we go there he is there he is all here comes the game get it get it beardy boy get it beardy boy the anticipation oh I almost hit him in the face oh
[02:13:56] [@$#%] ah where is he I don't want to hit him I'm always afraid when I come balling around here that he's going to be under here where did he go you ran
[02:14:18] away who easy where is it there it is man what a difference I mean the difference is exactly what would you what you would think more weight more hurl more momentum but bigger power from the
[02:14:35] higher KV still great run times 300 MH battery gets me over three minutes always kind of has even at 36,000 KV upstairs it's a it's an absolute Riot the the power to
[02:14:53] weight ratio is better on this rig than the lightweight rig but the lightweightness there's no substitute for the light for the lightweightness of the other
[02:15:06] rig here we go oh don't you dare get out of there easy okay relax relax me just just just take it easy with the big Power rigs it's like so tempting to just Hammer the [@$#%] out
[02:15:33] of them it's so much fun God look at that oh [@$#%] A I wish I could have locked into that orbit a little bit better there uhoh woh what's she
[02:16:09] doing ah I tried to get a big full room wall ride going one two 3 4 down the stairs almost remember that night we were dir durability testing the mbula 6 2024 and I did that well I tried to do
[02:16:26] that 10,000 times that was fun oh my God so much power it just hits the ceiling ah I'm flying like a donkey tonight today rather I tried to do like a lower like like a big Power Loop and then a
[02:16:49] smaller a smaller one just around the Cube I totally screwed it up I'm getting a little bit of jello here as well could be bent props hopefully it's not bent up
[02:17:02] motor shafts already these are fair this is a fairly new set of 0702 36,000 [@$#%]nope wow really not I'm being very strange about the excuse
[02:17:34] me thank you I don't remember what I was saying I'm being really lazy about the initiation into that dive I think I'm just doing it really early I need to just wait and then okay
[02:17:53] I don't know I feel like it looks it looks weird when I go H all right whatever like it looks weird when I go okay it looks weird when I go like slowly into
[02:18:14] that stopthat was close H I would love to be able to get that Matty flip down into down into the lit cube move a little bit more oh my God I got lucky on that one a
[02:18:43] little bit more dialed a little bit more consistent you'll also notice that the heavier more powerful rigs I crash a lot more you could almost say that I crash
[02:19:02] constantly it's just so hard to tame this amount of power it's very fun for me but I don't think it's as fun for you guys so I don't know 36,000 is an awful lot I I I think the the 2g4
[02:19:20] build I've been saying this for a long time I think that the 2g4 like 18 gram dry builds are best off at 32,000 KV 36 is fun 40 is absurd absolutely outrageous I think 32,000 is the
[02:19:40] is kind of The Sweet Spot for 18 grams and then like for 17 GS maybe 30,000 16 gram I really like these 28 29,000 gab Reg Walter says I have a lot of fun with liftoff micr drones I race spot grinder
[02:19:57] get your name also in there I don't I tried liftoff forever ago and I I did not like it I'm a veloc drone guy but I don't really spend any time in the Sim anymore justo says I have HD zero as well hd0
[02:20:15] would be easier to get into the streams you could just hook an HDMI cable up to it and then you just need a Capt card so that'd be super easy I'm going to do that at some point
[02:20:27] flying carrots says just met the Drone hanger crew super cruel guys they really are they really really really are Bobby Miller says Teddy came out of nowhere he did indeed man I I I am I
[02:20:40] it's wild how different these two are also the big Power rig is on bblades I'm starting to think that as much as I like the way that the bad blades fly I I really I feel like I fly
[02:20:55] better on tries which makes sense the the by blades are going to be more slippery and they're and that's dealing with that slipperiness is what's causing a lot of the
[02:21:06] crashes but I like the way that that slipperiness looks in the flight footage it's looks it's a bigger heavier rig that that sails through the air a lot more
[02:21:21] as if it has a lot more mass than it does on a 36,000 KV motor though you're going to run a byblade you I I would not recommend a tri blade on this high of a KV of motor from like a save your
[02:21:36] batteries lives standpoint but also from a now you're making too much power kind of standpoint so I mean you do you but still if you're trying to have something that like you can hit tricks
[02:21:52] and like learn and it's not just like holding on for dear life trying not to smash the walls constantly you got to match up propellers with motors with KV with all that
[02:22:07] jazz man these things pick up a lot of hair you don't I mean the the hair wraps itself around the Stater which is pretty safe you don't really have to do this but there is a chance that the hair could
[02:22:21] get in there just wrong get in between the Stater and the bell and cause some problems mainly I just don't like the way it looks when it's all hairy and if you're not going to fly
[02:22:32] good like I was tonight you better look good there we go let me just throw these hairs I just pulled out of here directly on the ground so I can pick them right back up next time I launch
[02:22:52] all right notice digs the wall ride over the kitchen sink that's one of my favorites too I like to try to get it like really inverted too kind of like like when a I approach those wall rides
[02:23:05] and a lot of this stuff kind of like Motocross Riders when they do the whip like when they whip the rear end of the bike out like the better Riders can like really whip the
[02:23:15] tail end of the bike out that that's kind of what I think about the the Cool Whip too that I do like sometimes I I'll do it with like a shitload of roll to like really rotate into it and really
[02:23:26] invert and it just it has like a different look I dig that that's the part of FPV that I actually really really really like is like the subtle stuff the flying stuff the the
[02:23:39] flavor that each pilot kind of puts into their into their own sort of flying and also I I I really like Pilots that can kind of do it all and cuz like some like I think that just
[02:23:54] comes with a lot of time like I'm lucky I've been flying for a long time so I've done every single move with every single different bit of flavor that you possibly can and now I can kind
[02:24:04] of pick my favorites I think with like younger newer fresher Pilots they'll just like have a style and there's nothing wrong with that but I think over time you develop the ability
[02:24:16] to kind of be a chameleon and change your style up a little bit which which is really really cool it's one of the things about FPV that's so intoxicating is that like it just has
[02:24:26] this infinite learning curve and you're never going to be the best you're just going to keep getting better and better and better and I love I I always gravitate towards stuff you
[02:24:39] know I like one of the reasons that I love Day Z so much is that it's excruciatingly difficult and it takes a long time to even learn how to survive let alone
[02:24:51] be able to like play the game and build a base and start hoarding gear gr07 right like a lot of people don't game because of how hard it is I specifically love it because of
[02:25:04] how difficult it is see I always tend to kind of grav gravitate towards impossible stuff I think that about does it for today did we do all the things mailbag six batteries we did four how deep does
[02:25:19] the rabbit hole go pretty deep I might have missed something though I might have missed something so oh [@$#%] one of the things I wanted to do today we're gonna have to do this on another stream
[02:25:32] but I've got check this out I've got a couple of so the last time I went and chased the RC drift cars I flew all three rigs all three of which have different cameras on them
[02:25:51] and so I want to do a little quick camera comparison but I want your guys help I want you guys to tell me which one looks better so for example right this is the
[02:26:03] 199c analog camera so I flew around a little bit with this camera I chase these little bastards around so I want to play some flight footage from this and
[02:26:16] then and so this is actually the rig that I'm holding in my hands right now that I'm going to be taken apart I don't need three of these analog RC drift car chasing rigs I only did this so that I
[02:26:26] could get some flight footage and then compare the cameras and I wanted to get it all on the same day with the same lighting yada y y so this this guy is actually going to come apart and
[02:26:37] what's super oh this is the no no no this is a 2g4 this is actually going to go back into a 75 MIM frame this is the AI with the extra long battery wires that I I originally put in a 75mm frame I'm
[02:26:52] going to put it back into a 75 mil frame a jungle gy Basher frame because I want to check out some of these other Motors so this is going to be the little test bed rig that I try the I'm
[02:27:07] going to retest the 0802 30,000 versus 27,000 even vers 25,000 thing and then I'm going to test 0603 3000s and I'm going to test the VCI 0 62.8 27,000 so some analog 75mm testing coming via
[02:27:28] this little setup here but this is the the rig that I'm chasing now so this is the 199c camera right so you guys got to see that a little bit we can kind of do this right now so there's
[02:27:40] that one and then look this is same rig same Motors but bi camera so this should be a little bit more of a wide angle camera but this is the Newbie drone bi
[02:27:57] camera and so these two guys are in a little build bag here I I got to screw these motors in but I'm going to put this to my left to remind myself that this goes with these
[02:28:13] guys right yep put that in there this meteor 7 25 frame we will test at some point I'm going to put that right there so those need to get bolded down and put in with this so
[02:28:30] this is the bi camera maybe a little bit wider angle maybe not the 199 ccam is pretty wide angle I feel like the 199 ccam looks a little bit better than this maybe I'm okay with this
[02:28:42] having less contrast that could help me when I'm in Premiere but I don't know and then this is the fxt camera which is the camera that comes with the Mobula 6es this is actually my mobula
[02:28:59] 6 V2 that I transplanted into one of these little bastards I really like the 199 ccam I'm really happy with that but at the same time they kind of all look the
[02:29:19] same what I mean Jason black says have you tried using different lenses no because the different lens the most of these analog cameras the lenses are glued in and to try to get the
[02:29:34] existing lens out is kind of a nightmare and so it's just it's a bit much to do that and then you got to try to get it refocused and it puts a bunch of stress on the camera itself
[02:29:47] like it's really easy for the plastic lens part to separate from from the PCB so it's I would rather just pick a camera that looks decent they all look pretty similar anyway and just
[02:30:00] stick with that Martin tany says can you explain the difference in detail of what limiting throttle does compared to Motors do you use one both when is a good time to use one over the other
[02:30:12] cheers if your Motors are the easy button is to use motor limiting in the PID tab it limits the pids and your throttle and so that is a super easy button if you want to chase the dragon
[02:30:25] and maybe get a tiny little bit of extra performance out of the pit Loop you can leave the motor limiting at 100% And then use throttle limiting which will only limit your throttle it'll give the
[02:30:36] pit Loop access to more power it kind of doesn't matter though because if you do if if you if you use motor limiting and you let the pids limit down you're going to be able to push the p gains higher
[02:30:50] which accomplishes sort of the same thing so it's not that big of a deal the easy button is to use motor limiting that's what I use it's totally fine I think I maybe like this fxt
[02:31:03] camera the least but they all they're all analog so I don't know the the the 199c is definitely brighter but that doesn't mean that it's better brighter is not better our brain tells us that
[02:31:17] brighter is better in the same way that our brain tells us that louder is better if you're auditioning two different sets of speakers and one of them plays louder than the other your brain is going to
[02:31:27] trick you into thinking that those are the better speakers they might not be they might be it's 50/50 you're testing two of them but like see the 199c is definitely brighter but it might not
[02:31:39] have as much detail I kind of maybe think that it doesn't have as good detail but boy is it hard to tell cuz analog just looks like hell all the time maybe what I'll do is a little
[02:31:55] three-way split screen I spent like half of this battery trying to tune the goddamn get the pit Loop fixed it was all out of sorts but we'll do that in the future I named the files in a way that
[02:32:14] I know what was what Andrew Taylor says have you played The Long Dark also super hard on survivor mode I haven't I try to stay away from video games as much as
[02:32:27] possible just because they're such goddamn time vampires and I have other things in my life that like like I enjoy spending time with the family right so the as as little video
[02:32:39] game as I can play the the better is sort of my Approach which sometimes works sometimes doesn't but sometimes I need it sometimes I really do just need to enter a completely separate
[02:32:52] Universe grer 7 and Day Z absolutely do that and my problem is I try to play less not more 1S 75 MIM WalkSnail rig I'm going to have to work with Brandon's bake beans on because
[02:33:07] there's something going on so stay tuned for that I'll have more info on that next week VCI 0702 is for sale this guy I need to figure out what to do with this is the absolute warhorse
[02:33:19] that's had to help beaten out of it I think these motors might need to get retired this Frame definitely needs to get retired it's still in one piece but boy has it been demolished
[02:33:29] and this canopy is also pretty beat up but man it is it is hanging in there I think these motors are jacked though because this rig does not make as much power as the other 60 36,000 KV rig
[02:33:41] but this is the one that I pounded on way too much at at Rampage so it deserves to be refreshed and then I've got a whole as I mentioned earlier I've been doing some battery
[02:33:54] testing to try to figure out how much damage it really does to discharge these batteries in 2 minutes the problem that I'm having is that it doesn't seem like the internal resistance readings
[02:34:11] on on these on our chargers are all that repeatable I noticed that like I had a I had six B batteries on there and I charged them up and the internal resistances were up in the hundreds I
[02:34:24] discharged them down to like 3.8 and then I charged them back up and now the internal resistances were in the 50s so I got to keep playing around a little bit more with that to kind of figure out
[02:34:35] what's going on there but jungle gy Basher I think for the time being is going to stay on these 0802 25000 to get the testing started with this other rig there's about to be two Jungle Gym
[02:34:50] Bashers again and so some stuff coming with that as well I think that's about all I got for you I also have this set of emac em 2.0 connectors male and female if you want them they're yours for shipping
[02:35:08] emac sent them to me I'm not going to use them Kevin Sumer says you need to take the internal resistance right at the end of the charge cycle yep that is important it changes with the amount
[02:35:18] of charge in the pack yep and I am I I'm taking it at the very end and it's not it's not being very repeatable it's being very strange so I just need to
[02:35:31] keep keep flying these batteries all the way down charging them up I I think what's happening what seems to be happening is that when I fly these batteries all the way down they sit at
[02:35:42] 3.7 3.75 3.8 I charge them all the way up for whatever reason the internal resistances are really high when I do that when I then tell the charger to put them down to storage voltage it brings
[02:35:53] them down to 3.8 and then I charge them back up the internal resistances are now I believe correct there seems to be something weird about when you fully charge them from below
[02:36:06] storage and or maybe it's when you fly them maybe there's something weird about when you fly them and you hit the [@$#%] out of them and you discharge them all the way down in 3 minutes or two and a
[02:36:17] half minutes maybe there's something about that that makes the chemistry act funny and when you charge it all the way back up the chemistry is still in some kind of a weird place maybe you then
[02:36:29] need to I don't know man I'm just going to keep messing around and as I as I experiment with different things and do it with tons of them I'll start to kind of figure it out so stay tuned
[02:36:40] for that showed you guys how to drill the motors out I've got some newbie drone stuff coming I've got a couple of newbie drone builds H I'm not going to show you there'll be a newbie drone
[02:36:55] specific live stream where I'm going to build a 2 and a half inch mosquito and then I'm going to put together I don't have a newbie drone tiny whoop put together right now and I do have an
[02:37:07] extra ACR b aiio or two so there's going to be some newbies ruin stuff coming soon so if you're if you're a fan of the acrob I don't have any hummingbirds left but I do have a couple
[02:37:18] of Acres left that are are just kind of sitting around no reason to not have a newbie drone tiny [@$#%] just kind of built ready to go flying carrot with the last comment of the live stream he says
[02:37:28] swapping meteor 65 Pro guts onto a Mobula 6 frame keeping 19,000 KV Motors but swapping from BetaFPV to HappyModel Motors will I need to change the tune probably not but maybe if you do just
[02:37:41] grab the multi master multiplier and push it up or down you push it up to the point where it starts to act funny and fly away and then you back it off a little bit if it's already doing that
[02:37:49] you back it off nice and simple 19,000 Mo KV Motors you should put them onto a 75 frame their 19,000 KV is really low for 65 millim they're going to be much happier in a 75
[02:38:07] millimeter frame so so think about that for the future those Motors on like the 1610 1.6 in 10 pitch by blades are going to make a hell of a lot power than more power than any of the 1.2inch
[02:38:28] props even the tri blades so think about that or do a 2S build they'll really rail on a 2S build but then that's a whole different kind of thing so you can spend four
[02:38:44] bucks on a on a the depends on the AIO if it's a BetaFPV cross style AIO you can get the meteor 65 airframe and a set of the 1610 propellers and that'll be pretty cool
[02:39:03] if it's a 2g4 or like a regularly shaped AO Mobula 7 V4 frame and then same deal GemFan 1610s or the the HQ ultralight 1.6 in by blades are also really good that'll be a good combo
[02:39:20] for like $8 total next time you do an order snag a couple of those things and you can experiment a little bit see where I think you'll like it better as a 75 outside my name is Aaron seti
[02:39:30] everybody calls me Ciotti head on over to the website click all the buttons join my patreon do all the things fly carrot says it's a cross style AO thanks dude cross style AO man build yourself a
[02:39:40] build yourself a little beta 60 beta 75 air get the the the air 75 frame drop it in there with some of the 1.6 in bblades you'll dig that that'll be a great outdoor you you'll
[02:39:56] have a jungle gy Basher almost that'll be a really good combo for seven bucks eight bucks love you guys bye I'm not ready here comes some 2S at the beginning of the stream I
[02:40:10] showed you the 0802 2S WalkSnail 75 rig here comes that same rig on 102s we already watched this let me give you something else no I only played one of those here's
[02:40:26] the other here's the other file t-motor 102 is 80% 1800 KV now this was the one that I played for you guys this file was done it's not the 75 Pro it's the 75 air Dave S the 75 Pro is stupidly
[02:40:55] heavy I have not figured out how to make that work yet 75 air big difference big difference here's the 0802 the 0802 battery 0802 19,000 1 mil motor shaft by blades 2S WalkSnail carrying walks
[02:41:13] nail love you bye see you guys tomorrow night a n n a
