[00:04:26]   entire battery and the the motors are really efficient when you you do that if you tried to do that same thing on an 802 27,000 25,000 whatever you're going to get much less runtime because

[00:04:39]   the 0802 motor is not as wide it's not going to stay as cool running it at 50 60 70% throttle for 5 10 seconds at a time is not what that motor is going to do really well so and it's

[00:48:37]   that to the desktop this is a really important step click on that file click on that backup file that just got saved and look at it and make sure there's text in it this just happened

[00:48:52]   to me the yesterday or the day before where I did that and then I opened up this file and there was nothing in it I don't know why the hell it does that sometimes but that's happened to me four

[00:49:02]   or five times now so always check that backup file to make sure there's stuff in it's almost safer at this point to not even use that button and just to go into the CLI and type diff

[00:49:18]   dff and now this is all that file is doing it's just creating a diff and then what you can do is is just highlight all of this copy it into the clipboard make a little document file

[00:49:29]   and drop it into that document file technically in a way that's safer but it's easy to just quickly open this up and just take a look at it so either or whichever way you want to do

[00:49:41]   it's fine doing it in the CLI is like sort of the OG way but fair warning this save backup button is buggy it does not work all the time and it makes no sense it seems to be

[00:49:58]   totally random so be careful be careful with that so now we have all of the settings on in BetaFlight 4.3.1 saved in that text file now we're just going to update this is the only way to update elrs on aios

[00:50:18]   is to update it to a more current version of BetaFlight in this case 4.5.1 and so I hit autod detect that fi that figures out that it's a crazy B F4 sx280 we're going to hit load

[00:50:33]   firmware online give it a second flash firmware and now it's going to ask you have you created a backup we already did you could technically just wait until this and then hit the create

[00:50:44]   backup button it'll do the exact same thing but God forbid there's a bug and it doesn't give you that warning at this point it's erasing everything and so without that

[00:50:59]   backup you got to start from scratch which is super annoying thrash says new fear unlock checking the diff file every time now LOL it's very annoying thrash says HQ is the only

[00:51:13]   prop company I've I've gotten unbalanced props from I cannot say that I've gotten unbalanced props from pretty much everyone the least common has been GemFan but their 45mm props are full-blown not

[00:51:31]   balanced which is a shame okay so now this is completely wiped out but we've got that backup file so we can go into presets and right next to the save backup button there's a

[00:51:44]   button that says load backup here's what you want to remember though we were just on BetaFlight 4.3 that this backup is for BetaFlight 4.3 between 4.3 4.4 now 4.5 they have

[00:51:59]   changed the names of some of the things behind the scenes and so you got to be kind of careful here so you're going to hit load backup you're going to point it towards that file on the

[00:52:13]   desktop and now it's going to apply the configuration please wait if there are any things that have changed name names it's going to throw up a warning and what you're looking for is red text

[00:52:26]   so you're going to scroll through everything's fine bang There we go so they have changed the name of OSD uncore Stat uncore timecore one timore

[00:52:42]   one and so BetaFlight has caught this and it's put this red text here that says error in set invalid name right so that's telling us that this from BetaFlight 4.3 is an invalid name and

[00:52:58]   they've change so basically they've changed the name of whatever the hell this OSD stat time one it has to do with like the the postflight stats for the timer number one so what has happened

[00:53:11]   here is the new version of BetaFlight it doesn't know what this means so it has not made this change right like this file is a bunch of changes and it can't make this change cuz it this is no

[00:53:25]   longer named this this is not like an essential thing though but you just got to read through these this is not an essential thing this just has to do with the postflight

[00:53:35]   stats whatever it hasn't turned this timer one on I can do it myself in my and now we've got timer two off so that's now still on I can change that myself OSD stat Max Speed OSD stat end

[00:53:49]   battery these are all postflight statistics that BetaFlight has changed the name of and that's okay but you need to read through these so that what hasn't carried over OSD stat

[00:54:06]   OSD stat OSD stat OSD stat so we're okay I'm going to have to go in there and change some of the post-flight statistic things manually but that's totally fine what what you want to be careful of is

[00:54:18]   if it says like VTX band set to five invalid name that's a more serious thing so just pay attention to it here's another one set name Ciotti error in set invalid name so it's

[00:54:32]   not going to have changed the name in the configuration tab to Ciotti who cares that's fine I do it myself right here's another one this one's more important anti-gravity gain this is me changing

[00:54:43]   the anti-gravity gain in 4.3 air in invalid value so what you want to remember again is that it's okay all this means is that it's not making the change and it's going to leave it

[00:54:57]   default so my anti-gravity gain is set at the default which is totally fine that the default for the anti-gravity grain works great in 4.5 so we're totally cool but again you just you need to read through

[00:55:10]   these rate profile four doesn't even exist anymore rate profile 5 doesn't even exist anymore that's fine and there and that's the end save so we're good just read through that red text it

[00:55:23]   some of them are going to be like super confusing if they're confusing enough it might not matter but just make a mental note of it maybe write it down and dig around in BetaFlight to try to

[00:55:34]   look it up to my knowledge they've not I I've not gotten that red text for anything that's like super important where the hell is my OSD the OSD switch is is off that's

[00:55:53]   super weird you could see craft name is not pre-populated that was one of the warnings that it gave us when you're doing this update you should be kind of spot checking this stuff anyway so I had

[01:28:02]   off the gyro slider here that's going to allow you to custom put a value in here and that value is super low it's 135 but then you're going to go to a pt2 filter save that now you got to go into

[01:28:16]   the CLI and I'm going to drop into the chat the CLI command but it's basically the hardware filter if you want to look this up on the own you you could you would on your own

[01:28:30]   you would type get gyro and then the one that you're looking for is the gyro Hardware low pass filter right here gyro Hardware LPF so since I've typed get we're going to take a look at what the current value

[01:28:48]   is and then we're going to change it but for right now just type that in hit enter and now going to tell us what the current value is for the gyro Hardware low pass filter which is normal we don't

[01:29:01]   want that we want to change it to option two all right and to do that instead of get you're going to type set and I'm just going to copy and paste it in but the the full line that you're going to type

[01:29:18]   in here is set gyroor hardware LPF space equals space option two and this is going to change the gyro Hardware low pass filter to option two which is a very it's doesn't filter very much

[01:29:48]   pt2 gyro filter that we set and that's it that's the magical bmi2 70 filter scheme that has worked brilliantly for me and for Brandon and for many of other many other folks I
