[00:02:08] hey friends the song did not line up at all with that fly through my name's Aaron Ciotti everybody calls me Ciotti I'm putting socks on because it is cold as [@$#%] in this basement can somebody turn
[00:02:20] the goddamn can we continue to just demolish this planet so that it's a little bit warmer out is that a thing oh it doesn't work oh it makes the Winter's colder and The Summer's
[00:02:31] hotter oh why didn't anybody tell us these goddamn scientists what are they doing they should have told us like a whole bunch of years ago oh they did oh well why didn't we listen how dumb
[00:02:49] are we welcome to Monday Night Raw that was a I don't like doing real estate stuff but but boy has it been slow this year and when it gets slow you take any gig that you
[00:03:06] can that was actually a while ago that was flown with a sinore I don't know which one probably the digital one but full weight cisor it was fun
[00:03:23] it's was it was fun because the cuz the the owner of the house was a super cool dude and flying is fun and it's also outrageously challenging to fly home to
[00:03:45] do the home flythroughs it doesn't really make sense to do them and I told them that I told them just hire hire a photographer that's got a gimbal
[00:04:00] and they'll do just as good of a job but he but he was like nah man we met at so and so I I I really love the idea of this I want it to be different than everything else and I was like well
[00:04:12] you know I'm not the only person doing these but it is pretty rare and so I went and flew drones and made some money and that's I'm very lucky to be able to do that and so
[00:04:29] there's that that was how long ago was that that was four or five months ago wasn't it that was back in oh God that was June that was back in June in the chat Curtis Hayes was
[00:04:42] first Zoe 101 dog with the blog was next every day with Bruno kyotic Frank Nicholas hold on I'll get it Vin I think I got that pretty close render CJ Douglas 6 MC mucus skull
[00:05:03] 901 vulin how close did I get what scale of 1 to 10 how close did I get Justin Müller notice Scotty Scott David 4f Ox 38 doubles FPV JMP FPV denilla terrible 661 JP spin Polly shortcuts notice voger
[00:05:20] thanks for subscribing friend you're going to love it here as long as you like cursing and both dick dad jokes Denzel the terrible Gerard Bosch paully shortcuts Nabil Justin Müller danilla
[00:05:41] terrible skull render Green Thumb poly shortcuts what's up everybody thanks for coming stay a while and listen first person that knows what that's from gets
[00:05:55] nothing if you want to talk directly to me in the chat all you got to do is type c FPV if you do that it'll light up an orange for me you can do it with each other if you want to get notice's
[00:06:03] attention just type the word notice in your in your chat comment notice do you ever have do do you ever does does that ever happen when somebody just types notice into their message a whole bunch
[00:06:16] of people figure out how to use the word notice in in something that you're saying tonight and it'll drive notice insane because every time you type notice it'll light up on orange for
[00:06:26] him and he'll think you're talking to you but then he'll he'll he'll get excited if he's anything like me he'll see the orange and he'll get excited like oh someone someone loves me and
[00:06:37] then he'll look and he'll go I somebody said harri Cube there it is Fiona Fiona says oh ah a harri cube the the Horadric hamburger it's a Diablo quote only only nerds are allowed here
[00:06:57] only only true true unbelievable nerds speaking of notice he's the first one to tag me he said evening gangly man I'm working on an hd75 mm RC and Power 102 22,000 KV aren't in stock should I
[00:07:11] go 18,000 or weight maybe consider 1102 it depends if you're doing 1 s or 2S if you're doing 2S 18,000 KV is perfect you actually don't want 22,000 KV if you're doing 1 s
[00:07:25] what the [@$#%] why don't do that go 2S seriously though go to us tell me more notice notice says what closet is this pilot standing in I was actually in the bathroom I'll show you exactly where
[00:07:46] I was one of the fun one of the most fun things for us nobody else when you're certain gigs where where you have to hide it's very fun to try to figure out where to hide
[00:08:03] because you have to be invisible but you also have to have signal for the whole area that you want to fly in and it's just like a really weirdly cool little challenge I'm right
[00:08:15] in there I'm right in here let's see if you can catch any of me as I fly by nope you won't be able to not even a shadow godamn it that's how professional I am there's not even a shadow on the fing
[00:08:29] door put your head down on the desk put your big head down on the desk I've that is a quote that's a quote from a standup routine hold on I think it's Lewis Black put your head down on the desk put
[00:08:52] your big head down on the desk I use that quote a lot it's weird lwis black I might be in here it might be in here if I recognize this if it weren't for my
[00:09:21] horse it might be in here copy link address I'm putting that into the chat somebody do me a favor and watch that clip and see if he see if he says
[00:09:33] it what was that oh man Lewis Black is the best he is the goddamn best he's hysterical on Instagram oh there it is there it is amazing I mainly just wanted to make sure that I had the quote right if if
[00:10:02] I'm super honest here what else is happening in chat danzel the terrible says how many times are you gonna say my name see FPV twice maybe three times Striker says what are some
[00:10:15] of your favorite analog 19mm cameras God I don't think I have any man I haven't run a 19mm can camera in like a millennium why are you running a 19mm camera run a 14 millimeter Nano camera with an
[00:10:34] adapter the the Nano cameras are are no different in terms of image quality and sensor size and stuff and they're lighter and then you can just run an adapter and then someday when you get
[00:10:49] rid of the frame that uses giant 19mm cameras you'll have a 14mm camera so I'm going to suggest that you don't buy a 19mm camera but here's what I will say in the
[00:11:04] world of not tiny whoop analog cameras I tried loads and loads and loads of them and then I ended up settling on the foxier toothless Nano Starlight super low latency and it's not
[00:11:21] a true Starlight camera but godamn is it close and so that gives you the range to and it also Works totally fine during the daytime so you have this massive range that you can fly you can fly all
[00:11:34] day long and then you can fly deep into golden and blue hour the the fireworks the the firework edit which is one of my favorites that I've ever done and it's also the hands
[00:11:49] down the easiest edit that that I've ever made was flown with that camera and I guess in the edit I I don't really I I don't really show myself coming back to where I was flying from
[00:12:07] but oh for come on now there it is yeah this edit I was able to pretty easily there's a link in chat pretty easily navigate home and it was dark it was like fireworks dark
[00:12:29] I don't really show coming home in the edit but it was when when they do fireworks displays it's dark right and I was able to fly home using like Street lamps and
[00:12:42] [@$#%] I did not land like right in front of myself I spotted a culdesac that was right next to where we were and I just threw it onto somebody's lawn there but like I was able to fly in
[00:12:58] at night time full-blown nighttime a proper like black and white no infrared filter night camera like a Full Tilt night camera will be better than the Starlight but at that point
[00:13:15] like it won't work in the daytime and this whole like oh I'll have a Starlight camera that I can swap into my rig you ain't swapping [@$#%] in bro you're leaving that thing alone and just
[00:13:29] Ling it swapping cameras back and forth is is is no that's outrageous you're just not going to do it it's just it's exactly annoying enough that you won't
[00:13:41] actually do it I have had a the DJI polar camera sitting on a shelf that I would swap in when I had a gig that was going to be late into the into the the afternoon and I just never did
[00:14:03] the main reason that I never did it though to be honest is that if you're flying that deep into the dark no HD camera is going to collect a single Pixel of light and so and and
[00:14:20] like I almost exclusively fly for money at this point when I'm flying outside and so but swapping out cameras is is annoying and you just won't do it maybe you will you won't I mean you might you
[00:14:39] won't but you might Fiona oh got it Roger camber most one says I'm switching my acur 75 blv 5 to props out do I need to pit tune as well nope and you shouldn't switch it to props out you will get
[00:14:59] worse performance when you're dropping elevation props out is only needed on Tiny whoops if you have a Powertrain that is weak and doesn't make enough power that when you are yawing
[00:15:14] and and when you are coordinating your sticks so that you're yawing at the same time that you're rolling in like a really banked turn the outside motor doesn't have enough power and it drops
[00:15:25] out nowadays and especially with that blv 5 pretty much all of the tiny whoop power trains have plenty of power to not have that happen that's an old school problem from like many many many many
[00:15:39] many years ago and it's just not an issue anymore also with the other reason to run props out is that you're crashing through scraggle and you want to push that scraggle out of the way
[00:15:54] well tiny whoops have guards on the ducts and the guards are going to do that so if you run props in you're going to be able to do Dives and drop elevation much better and so do that
[00:16:07] props out is for open propeller rigs only and even on open propeller rigs if you want a cleaner dive and or to drop elevation better props in is the way to go I'm not I'm not totally
[00:16:25] convinced that our even on like a 5in trig they make enough power if their props out to push scraggle out of the way I I I I kind of don't buy that maybe but I'm not really I I'm not
[00:16:43] sure a more compelling reason to run props out on an open propped rig is that you don't want to fling mud into the camera if you fly really low to the ground which I do a lot and it's like
[00:16:58] Dusty or muddy or there's gravel or something with props in you can fling that [@$#%] into the camera lens and beat the hell out of the camera lens alternatively though as soon as you flip
[00:17:11] as soon as you crash excuse me as soon as soon as you crash and you're upside down and you Turtle mode it's going to spin the motors the opposite direction so if you're running props out normally
[00:17:23] when you Turtle mode which is usually in the dirt right you you're going to potentially do all that same damage to the camera I don't know there's pluses and minuses to each I still run all of my
[00:17:39] open propped rigs props out because five maybe six years ago when the first couple people started to experiment with props out I was like oh it's the answer it's going
[00:17:55] to make me fly better everything's going to be better around that same time I was running runcam Micro Eagle cameras with this giant RC 25g lens I cannot believe I remember the model number of
[00:18:10] that lens which gave me like 170 degre field of view and I would I would ruin those lenses fairly often from flying really low to the ground and flinging rocks up into
[00:18:26] the up into the lens and the lens would get so chipped up from rocks and stones and [@$#%] that eventually like it would it would just be beaten when I would turn towards the sun it would just
[00:18:35] look like ass and so that that was another reason that I thought props out would be God's gift to FPV but the the I'll put it this way the BetaFlight devs originally chose props
[00:18:52] in back then and that was the default back then we had power trains that didn't have a lot of power which is kind of interesting to me obviously they they didn't notice the the roll and
[00:19:07] yaw coordinated sticks deal where it would drop a motor out but I don't know there's pluses and minuses either and I just hit you with most of them so make the decision based on
[00:19:21] those differences not based on some schmuck on Facebook that said props out better G D I switched to props out and now I'm a better person don't believe anything you read
[00:19:38] on Facebook or Reddit more than 50% of the FPV info on both of those websites is dead ass wrong I'm not kidding more than 50% Striker says ever notice how notice notice what did that look like notice
[00:19:55] take a take a screenshot of that and put it on when it was in different tenses I I I think it's probably a mess but take a screenshot and put it in general nonsense on my Discord I want to
[00:20:06] see if your name was in Orange 18 times danilla says taking a dump while flying a job what a life oh man I should have I should have sat on the toilet in
[00:20:21] there Striker says 2S 75 motor recommendation my current favorite is the RCN power 1002 either 18 or 19,000 I forget which it is but yeah RCN power makes a 102 that's either 18 or 19 and
[00:20:39] it's awesome the t-motor 102 18 or 19,000 KV motor is also really good I think the RC power is a little bit better the BetaFPV 1102 18,000 is a monster if you want more power than
[00:20:55] what the RC and Power 102 is going to give you the the BetaFPV 112 is the way to go the RC and power motor has gobs of power though like your your motor limiting it down to like 75% 80% and it
[00:21:10] rails there and so if you wanted more power you could go to 85 or 90% so not a whole lot of reason to go with the BetaFPV 1102 but if you have a set if if you have a set of the beta
[00:21:24] 1102s just use them for sure but if you're buying a motor I think I would by the RC and power motor it's a little bit lighter yeah scrolling back up because YouTube did
[00:21:38] the thing as it does 7,000 times per live stream render says did you see Chris roster's motor motor comparison videos charts recently I did we've been talking about them over the last
[00:21:49] couple of live streams I actually what that actually reminds me though I watched it on my phone and I couldn't see the entire the entirety of the
[00:22:04] chart and I wanted to rewatch it but I haven't had a chance to and so well what screw it let's let's actually take a look let's take a look cuz it I I do this a good amount
[00:22:19] with Chris's videos take a look at the at the charts and kind of discuss them so we're looking at the actual KV here the the the measured KV versus the rated KV and I'm actually I'm surprised I'm
[00:22:39] surprised that these are so close in the in the much less scientific testing that I've done the KVs have been way the hell off and there are definitely some that are way the hell
[00:22:54] off oh boy let's see if we can pick the worst offenders I bet you the worst offender is HappyModel so this one's pretty bad here this is t-motor oh t-motor has been really bad in the past
[00:23:11] another this this next really bad one is t-motor again um what's this one oh this one's newbie drone here's here's a newbie drone that's way off the t- motors are always rated much High higher than
[00:23:28] they actually than they actually perform we got one that's rated in the opposite another newbie drone that's way off but in the opposite direction this time the actual KV is
[00:23:39] much higher than the rated KV all the way up on the top we've got the Weeble 40 40,000 KV that one's way off and then what's this third one down it's third one down is another HappyModel
[00:23:54] motor what is it oh the 36,000 KV so that's kind of interesting I didn't notice that when I watched it before the two really high KV HappyModel Motors the weebl 0702 40,000 and the
[00:24:09] tiny whoop 36,000 they both measure out much lower than their rating but here's the thing all the way up at the top is the wee bed 40,000 KV motor so the highest rated KV motor is the highest KV motor
[00:24:29] out of all of these the the the BetaFPV 0702 30,000 KV motor which is what comes on the air 65 Champion which I've been saying for the last couple of weeks has mega power and
[00:24:45] there's absolutely no way in hell is actually 30,000 KV is the second one on the list so that's kind of cool because that totally validates the the flight performance that I've been
[00:24:56] talking about and then the third one down is the tiny whoop Firefly 0702 36000 which is another HappyModel motor and so for the most part the higher the the higher the KV on
[00:25:11] stamped on the Bell the higher the KV you're going to get it's not exact but still if you want the highest KV motor that there is it's the one with 40,000 KV stamped on the Bell if it were
[00:25:23] actually turning 40,000 KV it would probably catch on fire and burn burn your house down and kill your children so it's maybe a good thing that they overrated it
[00:25:34] we've talked about this quite a bit in the past it and some folks in the industry have confirmed for me that different companies are using different methodology method not
[00:25:47] methodologies they're just using different voltages to check the to rate the KV and since there's like little to no standardization in FPV in general we can't like Point our
[00:26:04] finger and be like HappyModel are wrong like there I don't know there probably is a right way to do it but I bet you nobody's doing it the right way and so different companies are
[00:26:16] measuring KV differently and so we get different results this is what happens when nobody gets together and gets all of the and it does a zoom call or a Skype with all of the motor
[00:26:29] manufacturers and says idiots let's measure KV this way the end so within the HappyModel Motors the higher the KV number stamped on the Bell the higher Mo the the more
[00:26:49] RPM the motor is going to turn within the BetaFPV Motors I'm looking hold on I'm looking to make sure it looks like within the BetaFPV Motors the higher the number stamped on the Bell the more RPM
[00:27:04] you're going to get from the motor yeah so and now here's the other thing yes KV is a great indicator of how much power the motor is going to make arguably it's the
[00:27:18] best indication of all the different things that make Motors make Power how high of a KV is the best indicator of how much power that motor is going to produce but there are a dozen other
[00:27:34] things that impact that Stater size is hands down the second most important thing if I had to guess the third most important thing would be I would say the strength of the
[00:27:55] magnets but that that is a that is a Vietnam that we can't really get into because like apparently nobody everybody lies about the the magnets that they're putting into these motors anytime you
[00:28:10] see oh n52 magnets they're they're it's [@$#%] n48 magnets it's [@$#%] it's nonsense so I think realistically the thickness of the magnets might be the next most important
[00:28:22] thing and we don't ever get any specs on that air gap would probably be the third or fourth most important thing never any specs on that thickness of the the laminations in the Stater poles
[00:28:34] super important never get any specs on that right so there's all there's a million things that affect it but KV is the most important and it is admittedly super annoying that
[00:28:51] between one brand and another the KV is all over the place but each motor brand does all of those other things different so even if all of the KVs were perfect and they were and the everybody
[00:29:07] got together and they got some standardization going this would still happen once we put a propeller on it that this chart would look awesome but who gives a [@$#%] what this chart says right like it
[00:29:21] doesn't matter the actual RPM that the motor turns all that matters is how much power it produces and the efficiency and that's what we're going to look at next but let me just take one more quick
[00:29:32] look RC and P so I'm just going to go top down because I only really care about the more powerful Motors HappyModel 0702 4000s BetaFPV 072 30,000 tiny whoop Firefly another
[00:29:48] HappyModel motor 072 36,000 RC and power 0702 29,000 I have a set of this com a set of these coming I ordered them as soon as I got done watching this video actually because you'll see in
[00:30:02] the next couple of charts they are the most powerful Motors we bed screamers which are actually only 32,500 KV and then the moon Travelers just below them which are 32,000
[00:30:18] KV RC and power 0703 oh 0703 27,000 that's too heavy of a motor for a 65 mil rig though DCI spark 0702 29,000 I have tested them on live streams here they performed really decent and then
[00:30:35] we've got the set of tiny HappyModel 8023 oh the the the the 802 33000 that's cool then we've got a couple of newbie drone Motors 0702 29,000 I've run those here they they
[00:30:50] make big Power 0802 27,000 they're too heavy you don't want them RC and power 802s again too heavier for mm rig newbie drone 802 is who cares tiny whoop bottle rocket 802 is who cares not
[00:31:03] 65 mil Motors tiny whoop red rocket 0603 26,000 cranking some serious KV cranking out more KV than they're rated actually that's pretty cool again a little bit too heavy of a motor though
[00:31:16] and now we're down into the world where none of these motors really make enough power to Warrant being run you might as well run these more powerful higher KV Motors and then motor limit
[00:31:25] them down if you want if you you don't want all that power so super interesting stuff there what do we got here this is response time testing and the higher the better but the problem
[00:31:41] is the problem is that why the hell did it automatically choose are you [@$#%] kidding me wny is why is Chris only uploading in 1080 why is he not uploading in 4k what in the
[00:32:02] world the problem with this these charts that Chris does is I can't make hideen or hair of all these different colors there there's too many colors on here I can't tell which orange this is
[00:32:16] right so I I can't get any meaningful data from this unfortunately the these types of charts are the only ones that Chris puts up that I can actually get any of the info out of
[00:32:30] but that's okay motor weight we all know what the motors weigh the bigger the Stater the heavier the motor so all the way off on the left are all the 72s the Newbie drone hummingbird
[00:32:42] race 72s with the crazy single strand wire are the lightest but I don't know that that's kind of outrageous most of these other 0 72s are roughly the same weight yeah I I I I really think
[00:32:57] it doesn't I don't think you should buy an 0702 motor based on it being a little bit lighter or a little bit heavier because the the difference in weight is so small that it's kind of
[00:33:10] negligible what else do we have here here we go so now we got some thrust testing thrust this is on the old school HQ ultra light Tri blades which is awesome that is a
[00:33:26] 1.2x 1.1 1x3 propeller one of the best propellers available right now so this is great I'm so glad that he used a good propeller for this thrust testing all the way up on the top we've got
[00:33:43] an 0703 and an 0802 those Motors are too heavy for a 65mm rig the slight amount of extra thrust will not make up for how much heavier the quad is going to be so ignore those
[00:33:58] up on the top of the 02s is the RC and power 29,000 KV by quite a bit the this outperformed a lot of the other all of the other 07 02s the problem with this motor
[00:34:12] apparently though is that it's just eats the [@$#%] out of the batteries so I'll let as long as I can get more than two and a half minutes of runtime on a 300 MH battery I'll be okay
[00:34:23] with them but if I can't get 2 and a half minutes I will probably end up selling them on on the Etsy store speaking of SE fv.com has a million ways that you can support me join my patreon
[00:34:34] click the thumbs up button here click the Subscribe click the Bell do all that nonsense that YouTube seems to like Fiverr you can work one-on-one with me take advantage of over eight years of
[00:34:45] knowledge actual good knowledge not the trash you'll find on Facebook and Reddit there's an Etsy store with all kinds of fun stuff that you can buy what else uh you'll see go over to
[00:34:59] cv.com I've got a ton of affiliate links affiliate links are free money make sure that you're using them if not mine someone else's it's hard to do YouTube full-time and we really
[00:35:11] do rely on the the affiliate stuff so change your bookmarks over to someone's affiliate links if you don't use bookmarks change your your browser's automatic suggestions when you start
[00:35:24] typing in a URL to someone's affiliate links just delete your current suggestions and hit someone's affiliate link a few times in a row and then your browser will think that when you type
[00:35:33] AMA for Amazon you actually want to go to somebody's affiliate link do that and those of us that are making content that you can watch here on YouTube for free will keep making content and then
[00:35:41] you can keep watching it and keep learning so the RC and power 0702 29,000 just [@$#%] stomped everything else although I mean not really let's see they're making
[00:35:55] roughly it looks like they're making about 41 grams of thrust that's pretty impressive actually 41 Gams of thrust Time 4 is 164 what's the what 164 what do these things weigh
[00:36:18] nowadays with the battery I don't even know I'm going to weigh the air 65 Champion it's not the lightest rig it's also certainly not the heaviest with one of these batteries so 25 half grams
[00:36:33] call it 25 grams to make the math simple so 25 50 75 100 125 150 so roughly 6 and 1 12 to one power to weight ratio that's not bad I actually would have thought that it would have been it would
[00:36:53] be a little bit higher than that but 6 and a half to one interesting where the hell did where the hell did that window go what where is it
[00:37:16] buer got it I found it I found it all right so that's the RC and power 0702 29,000 802 802 703 802 the next 70 wow the next 702 down is the RC and power 0702 27,000 KV and if I go up
[00:37:35] here it looks motor is making about 38 grams of thrust not a big difference but you could you can probably feel that difference I I think a lot of the racers are running
[00:37:46] this RC and power 0702 27,000 another 802 another 802 now we got another 702 and it's the wee bed 40,000 so the wee bed 40,000 is about the same we got a whole bunch of Motors in a row here that are
[00:38:03] about the same which is kind of not surprising but a little bit surprising because I'm pretty sure that I can feel the difference between the we the the HappyModel 072
[00:38:19] 4000s and oh this is a whole bunch of 802s next here new hum where's the next where's the next HappyModel motor Dr hummingbird B rocket 802 there's the moon traveler so the the moon traveler
[00:38:37] which is a HappyModel 072 32000 KV is making okay I that's why I can tell the difference it's making looks like about 34 grams of thrust so we're talking about 34 gram of
[00:38:51] thrust versus 37 or so I'm actually kind of surprised I can feel that difference times four huh I'll be damned that'd be a good blind test that would be a really good blind
[00:39:10] test where are the rest of the 72s there's the moon traveler oh that's super weird the the 32,000 KV Moon traveler made a little bit more thrust than the 36,000 KV tiny
[00:39:23] whoop Firefly I wonder I don't think I don't think Chris tested more than one motor of each of these I don't blame him because there's 5 10 15 20 25 30 it looks like damn near 30 Motors
[00:39:43] here any of you that have gotten a fresh set of Motors put them onto a quad onto a tiny whoop and spun each one of the motors up individually in the motors tab will know that of those four
[00:39:56] Motors there's always one that's low and one that's high and so I'll bet you that the the the moon traveler 32,000 KV motor that he picked out of the box was a hot one and then the the 36,000 KV
[00:40:15] Firefly was either one of the one of the two normal ones or one of the low ones um because I'm pretty damn sure that I've been able to tell the difference between the the Firefly 36,000 and the and
[00:40:30] the moon traveler 32,000 so that's kind of interesting 803 here's the Weeble screamers the 32,500 a whole bunch more 802s 803 603 and now we're down into the realm of Motors that don't make enough power
[00:40:46] to really matter so that's interesting I I'm shocked that there's not a bigger variance in the amount of thrust that these things make but I don't know maybe I'm actually
[00:40:57] just more sensitive to the amount of power that these motors make than I thought what is this looking at RPM at 4 volts and 1 amp this is a I'm guessing that this
[00:41:12] is an efficiency test tiny whoop semi oh it's totally an efficiency test because it's all these low KV Motors are up top I don't really care that much about efficiency if if I'm super honest
[00:41:29] this is a good one motor responsiveness so th this is a super important test so purple is how quickly it accelerates the the the bell and propeller the gray is how quickly it
[00:41:45] decelerates and there's a big old variance in the deceleration which is wild the the higher the the higher the the better on here because it's RPM per second so for example let's
[00:42:02] look at the worst performing deceleration Motors and see if we can find what the hell's going on there so this one's really bad here it's a t-motor 802
[00:42:14] 25,000 is it the Heavy Bells that are the worst because they're heavy no cuz this is an 0702 here that's not doing all that well but here's another 702 that's not doing all that well happy
[00:42:26] Model 28 so that's weird and then the low KV Motors are all all done at the bottom huh I wonder what it is that makes a motor not decelerate all that well what's this one
[00:42:40] here t-motor 803 22000 huh super strange all right the motors that are doing well RC and power SE both RC and power 703s did really really well but again that motor's a
[00:42:54] little too heavy and then here's the r and power 702 is just kicking ass again where are the rest of the 72s here's the Newbie during hummingbird RS here's the 40,000 KV Happy
[00:43:13] model motor here damn man those RC in power 72s are something else okay Moon Travelers right next to it very similar very very similar results between a lot of these Mo a lot of these
[00:43:30] high KV motors which is kind of good to see and then and then this is Chris just picking out a bunch of his favorites his favorite Motors are are almost all my favorite Motors the
[00:43:44] moon Travelers the BetaFPV 0702 30,000 that come on the Champion Edition the RC and powers that I have coming so that was cool to see if you haven't watched this watch it he did a
[00:44:04] really good job and he finally tested a whole bunch of like the current really good Motors that everybody is running maybe don't spend your time watching his previous tiny whoop motor tests
[00:44:19] because almost all of the motors that he tested are really old and or really low KV and nobody's really running those anymore so this is the one to watch 40 plus tiny whoop Motors there
[00:44:36] you go thank you Chris I love you dude thank you for testing the current Motors and thank you to everybody that mailed Chris Motors shout out to Kevin Sumner Kevin was so upset with the previous
[00:44:50] motor tests that he sent he mailed Chris a whole bunch of Motors to test so did Jesse from Tiny whoop so did zotech from wee bed but those guys sell the motors right Chris bought Chris I'm
[00:45:05] sorry not Kevin bought Motors just to sends to Chris Rosser and I was really hoping that that Chris would give him a shout out in the video but unfortunately he didn't but it is
[00:45:18] what it is maybe he did in the description I didn't read the description so there there you go I didn't actually I haven't really I didn't dive into that like I just did
[00:45:28] and I've kind of been meaning to so thanks for reminding me of that render because I've been wanting to dive into it and might as well do it and with all you guys hanging out
[00:45:36] Justin Müller says props inprs out is a great discussion it is it is and it's frustrates me to no end that there is no discussion anywhere other than right here like every single other spot
[00:45:51] I've ever heard anyone talking about props in and props out is it's one person coming in and saying prop out is better and then somebody else comes in and says prop is better and then
[00:46:02] somebody else comes in and says prop out is better cuz I change to pops out and my R pie is better like no information nothing just like this is better do this this is better do this no this is better
[00:46:13] do that like nobody ever has any information on either one and it's just maddening Joshua is the only other person that has ever given any actual information on why props in versus props
[00:46:26] out or the other way around is is better and so for the love of God if you see someone asking about props in props out give some actual info so that maybe people will learn a
[00:46:41] thing and stop just mindlessly saying that props out is better or props in is better because there are very specific things about one or the other that are pluses and
[00:46:54] minuses and there is not a one-size fits all thing other than like C whoops C whoops props in is night and day better like it is shocking how much better fully ducted fat ass underpowered cine
[00:47:09] whoops fly props in everything else is is you're going to decide what do you want better Dives or better turning whatever we already talked about it thrash fpb says with shooting
[00:47:29] fireworks was it hard to tell what was up or down since it's so dark with everything else with the Starlight camera no because the Starlight camera is sensitive enough the foxier toothless
[00:47:43] Nano Starlite where on the horizon you can see the light pollution and so there was always a line for the Horizon and then below the Horizon there are Street lights and there are other things and
[00:47:58] also the fireworks are traveling they're always spiraling upwards so if if if I was ever even remotely confused I could catch the the horizon line and or any street lights on the ground
[00:48:12] even out in the distance and or the fireworks traveling upwards the fireworks never spiral up and then fall down and then blow up they always spiral up and then blow up at the at the peak
[00:48:24] and so it was shockingly easy to fly that flying fireworks is the hardest part is the anxiety of it a getting hit by one of the damn things right because one of those little
[00:48:41] burning bastards lodges on the inside of the quad and just roasts the [@$#%] out of a wire and you're done and how the hell am I going to get home like you're you're not going to set
[00:48:54] up right next to a fireworks display you're going to be a half a mile away and so navigating home is constantly on your mind because when you're inside there you're just flipping and flopping
[00:49:05] all over the goddamn place and you immediately lose your sense of northsouth east west and so you have to find in in this case what I did was well what I did is have other people
[00:49:22] in the goggles and then they helped me navigate Patrick and what he did was he realized that from it was above a baseball diamond he realized that home plate to Third Base was a straight
[00:49:38] line home and so I didn't really have to think much about it he it took him it took him a little bit to realize that CU I'm flipping and flopping all over the place and it was I was starting to kind
[00:49:53] of think about it think about like all right Patrick hasn't totally lock this down yet I might need to start like looking down a little bit to try to start to figure this out right around
[00:50:04] that time like he confidently figured it out and I was like cool I can just keep flying the firework flying the subject rather than trying to figure out how to get home and that was
[00:50:15] amazing but if he weren't in the goggles it's just a matter of on your way out keep looking down to and end or back to find those landmarks on the way out where I was flying from
[00:50:31] luckily there was a big long line of trees and then there was a big gap and then there was the the the baseball stadium not a stadium just a baseball thing in the in the middle of the field
[00:50:42] that was not a big fireworks display that was like a whatever whatever little town fireworks display it wasn't a small fireworks display but it wasn't like a you know
[00:50:53] Mercedes-Benz Stadium or anything it was was just a whatever town in the middle of Georgia fireworks display that was one of the most fun things maybe the most fun thing I've
[00:51:06] ever flown because of the three-dimensionality I never I'd never thought about the fact that like obviously I knew this but it's never really registered that fireworks blow up
[00:51:21] in a in a ball cuz whenever you see them they blow up up down left and right right and it and it's they feel two-dimensional when one goes off 50 ft in front of you and the the things
[00:51:36] are whizzing by up down left and right and you fly inside of them and you look around and you're inside of this sphere that's pretty [@$#%] cool you got to get inside of the
[00:51:49] explosions though that's the sketchy part and that's that was the part where it was like [@$#%] it let's just do it like below where where the fireworks are are being
[00:52:01] launched from there's nobody right it's super unsafe to be down there by the mortar tubes so it was it's weirdly safe safer to be right on top of the damn things because right below you
[00:52:17] is safe if you're at a distance there's a chance that you're o that you're over people and that's way more sketchy because if you fail safe you're going to fall into the people and
[00:52:28] that's nasty so it's weird it's weird like if I had gotten hit by one of them and fallen out of the sky it would have been totally fine it would have sucked because I I might not have been
[00:52:37] able to get the rig back but yeah if you ever have a chance to fly a fireworks display do it's wild demo FPV says with ride only selling division 40 on 1S is it possible to
[00:52:55] switch it to us if so how maybe it depends on what AIO it comes with let's see it comes with t-motor f411 1S flight controller so no you would have to swap the flight controller out and don't
[00:53:25] do that that's silly you're also not going to be able to use these motors so that is a total noggo do not buy this and try to put it on the 2S you will spend you will spend an entire
[00:53:36] extra quad's worth of money doing that at which point just build one from scratch it's a simple build demo F no we got that mton says Racers run props out because it's better
[00:53:49] if you clip a gate open prop Racers yes tiny whoop racers it doesn't make a difference because there's a there's a guard around the propeller you could maybe make the argument that you
[00:54:05] could make the stick coordinate I didn't really explain it when you yaw let's say to the left and when you roll to the left let's start with roll when you roll to the left the right Motors fire up and
[00:54:23] do more work when you yaw to the left the right rear motor fires up the right rear and the left front but we're we're really worried about the right rear and so when your nose down and when
[00:54:37] you pitch forward and your nose down the rear Motors are doing more work so when you are props that's when your props in so when you're props in when you're flying fast the right rear motor is
[00:54:50] doing a lot of work when you roll left the right rear motor is doing a lot of work when you yaw left the right rear Motors doing a lot of work and on the old powertrains there would not be enough
[00:55:02] power from that right rear motor motor one and you could potentially have it drop you could make an argument that with racing because they're going for efficiency with tiny whoop racing you
[00:55:15] want to spread that load out to the left rear motor and so when you go to props out the yaw left yaw spins up the left rear motor motor 3 and the right front motor and so it shares some of that work
[00:55:34] that's being done with that left rear motor not with roll not with pitch but just with yaw so when you are in that like funnel turn which Racers do a lot potentially you're going to get a
[00:55:48] little bit more efficiency from that left rear motor all of our powert trins have enough power that they don't fall out of the air anymore so it's not really much of an issue unless you
[00:55:56] really care about that extra half a percent maybe of efficiency I couldn't care less I would rather have a rig that dives better and that's what props in does better and so for
[00:56:09] freestyle as far as I'm concerned it's a no-brainer it's props in for racing you could make the argument that it's props out until you race a course that has a big dive and then maybe props
[00:56:21] in would be better because it Dives flatter and it's just more predictable and the and the motor don't ramp up as much which is the last thing that you want when you're doing a dive trying to
[00:56:30] hit a gate so pluses and minuses but as far as I'm concerned on on cine whoops props in no questions asked and then on everything else on on Tiny whoops I I think it's pretty easy for
[00:56:46] freestyle props in for racing maybe props out maybe make up the decision course specific maybe just run props out whatever for open propeller rigs you got to choose is your rig having a
[00:57:01] problem where when you do Dives the motors wind up and start to push you forward then go props in some rigs don't do that when they props out mine for example and so I still have props out on
[00:57:14] all of them someday I'll experiment with props in though on them Justin Müller says maybe you can show and also for the record I really wonder really really really do wonder I
[00:57:28] would say that hitting Gates is an even less likely scenario that props out is actually going to help there's so much Placebo that I would not be surprised if that is it's just all Placebo there just
[00:57:41] I went props out and it did better when I hit Gates I don't know about that man like you're hitting the gate so hard that like are we really think first of all when when you hit the gate
[00:57:56] look at this I have a ra I even have a race rig look at look at this [@$#%] this this is a rig that I'll I'll never finish Racers fly like this when you when you hit something like this props
[00:58:07] in and props out don't matter at all so I really don't know about that but if you come in flat and you're hitting a hard ass gate right a lot of those gates are made of like PVC and [@$#%] I have a
[00:58:20] really hard time believing that these little ass motors have enough power behind a what a race rig's weigh 450 grams 500 grams maybe at at 60 70 80 miles an hour I don't think so bro I I
[00:58:35] don't think it makes a difference that's just me though I could totally be wrong but like see what I'm saying here that's a that's a bit of a stretch if you ask me I I I think with scraggle
[00:58:48] with little thin scraggly branches maybe but I I'm not so convinced there either but I I could totally be wrong I hope I'm wrong wrong cuz all my open prop rigs are props out so
[00:59:01] Justin Müller says maybe you can show the video I've sent you the difference it wasn't my video with the difference being showed what are we talking about Justin I don't know what
[00:59:11] we're talking about Moss one says perfect thanks man you're certainly welcome yeah tag me again tell me what we're talking about I I I have zero context I also don't know where you
[00:59:25] sent the video so let me know both of those things oh my God I'm very I'm very behind on chat by the way we are I forgot to say this we are gonna if if I have time Jesus it's 11 o'clock already
[00:59:39] well fa let's talk about it now then because I might not do any of the actual work but like you guys have seen me solder a million times and so I'm going to build an ultra light
[00:59:54] 75mm 2 s analog rig and the parts that I'm going to use are mobula 7 V4 frame tiny whoop where are they hex the light ones the ex 802 19,000 KV motors with the 1 and half MIM
[01:00:17] shaft mobul 6 canopy run cam Nano 3 TBS Pro 32 Nano admittedly this is just an excuse to do this build this is the this is the BetaFPV 12 amp version 3 AIO that I use for
[01:00:38] the WalkSnail builds but the the WalkSnail the third WalkSnail VTX has now cooked on this build so I don't have a VTX for this AIO and so I figure what the hell quick
[01:00:54] solder up a pro 32 this V4 mobul 7 frame is lighter weight than the V3 frames that I've been using and that I really like this is the lighter one here right so we've got a slightly
[01:01:17] lighter frame this AIO probably weighs exactly the same as the X12 I'm going to be at maybe adding a little bit extra weight with this Pro 32 but come on Canon you
[01:01:34] [@$#%] hold on man they need to fix this please fix your software Canon oh my God this is a disgrace you are a disgrace to the Camera World which is super sad cuz I've Loved
[01:01:55] Canon can cameras for like 20 plus years now there we go all right God fix your software man so we're using a slightly lighter frame we're using lighter Motors 802s versus 102s or
[01:02:08] 803s that's where the lightweightness ends let's actually see how much lighter it's going to be I'm not totally convinced that these 802s are going to be up to the up up to the job that that and and
[01:02:23] are going to give the amount of power that I want but I'll just crank the [@$#%] RPM up and see what happens on them so the lightest 2S analog 75 that I've got is this one on the sub 250
[01:02:35] 803 Motors and it is 26.2 G I am missing oh man I'm missing a bunch of stuff here well frame motors canopy VTX camera I need to put some sort of an antenna in here this is a a
[01:02:55] really lightweight antenna I'll run a lightweight ant antenna on it I'm forgetting a little piece of plastic motor screws are there I'm forgetting the canopy screws this is
[01:03:08] 23.1 gram though so this this my guess is going to be that it's going to end up at like 24 G or so so 24 G versus 26 it'll be lighter I don't think that's enough of a
[01:03:27] difference to really for me to really notice especially flying outside where the gaps that you're going to shootter a lot better A lot bigger inside the house two grams is a massive
[01:03:38] deal going from 20 a 20 G rig to an 18 G rig it's night and day outside it probably won't be that much of a difference but I'm super curious about an 802 motor at the right KV
[01:03:53] 19,000 on to so realistically this build that I was going to do tonight but I will probably just work through chat for the next hour this build is is kind of an excuse to see if the 19,000 KV Motors
[01:04:11] sorry the 802 19,000 KV Motors work well on a on a 2S analog setup compared to 102s or 803s so there you go now I don't feel bad about the fact that we're probably going to just talk
[01:04:29] through chat for the next 50 minutes and then I'm going to let you all go to sleep I hope that's cool you've seen me solder before pick any stream with any build and you'll see me solder and I give you
[01:04:41] guys a lot of the same tips if you have soldering questions put them in the chat and I'll give you a proper answer rather than you just watching me screw things together and fart
[01:04:51] around more importantly if there was like a professional splooting competition this dog this dog would be the goddamn Grand Champion there is I've never seen a dog that so
[01:05:11] consistently stretches out his rear hip flexors look at it look at him look at him look at this dog he's getting all scraggly again I love it oh I love when he gets when he's
[01:05:29] just an absolute mess there he is oh you little monster you little devil you this is what we do man this is my life and for the record I'm very careful to not like pull outwards on his rear
[01:05:51] legs I know you don't want to do that I always like I always like push it like you'll notice whenever I get him like I I grab his his his rear legs and I like push in like whenever I flip him over I
[01:06:01] push in and then I flip his little little ass over oh God here he is here he is I I we'll play tonight buddy we play all night long this all
[01:06:15] right there you guys go here's your dog attack moment of the of the live stream maybe we'll fly a couple batteries I'm not sure we'll fly a couple batteries because I
[01:06:26] can talk through chat questions and I did put six batteries in the in the live stream title and I do want to continue to fly these HQ HQ ultr light by
[01:06:43] blades so I haven't totally lied about the title of the live stream where was I in the chat here 661 fpb says it was PV Skittles that started team props out when he was sponsored and
[01:06:59] testing for BetaFPV when the 75x came out Jesus that's forever ago 2S 75mm and going props out Made It Fly better at that time yep back then the the power trains were so
[01:07:13] underpowered myself included props out made a massive difference I had all kinds of problems four five six seven years ago with tiny whoops that were drops in dropping out of the air when
[01:07:28] you would roll and yaw with the nose down the the right rear or left rear motor would run out of steam and it would and it would fall out of the air and props out was a full-blown
[01:07:38] solution to that but nowadays we've got power trains that are so much more powerful that it's not it's not a big deal and the better elevation the better performance
[01:07:52] while dropping elevation and doing Dives with props in is amazing and I have not seen any negatives from going props out to props in on everything I had everything on props out and I've
[01:08:07] slowly but surely gone to props in and I've never seen a single rig fly any worse and admittedly I've not seen them fly any better tiny whoops I've not seen any of the tiny whoops fly better props
[01:08:20] in but when I was still props out and I was on a couple of gigs this is going like two this is going back about 2 years I was on a couple of gigs and I was staying in hotels that I was flying
[01:08:36] and doing massive Dives like hotels with like Big 5 10 15 story like Central areas that are just a dream to fly with rigs that were props out because all my [@$#%] still was props out back
[01:08:50] then the the tiny whoop diving performance sucked as as soon as you get it into a dive the motors start to wind up and it just pushes itself forwards and then you can't do a proper dive
[01:09:01] anymore you got to do stupid barrel rolls in the way down or like whatever and that's just dumb and so uh it should be better now I I've I've not had the opportunity to do
[01:09:15] a bunch of big Dives with tiny whoops since I've gone to prop zonea and everything but I will at some point it's only a matter of time but I was solid Le on team props
[01:09:26] out with everything for many many many years it wasn't until maybe like last year at some point that Mark spatz UAV Tech put a video out about how much of an improvement there is with
[01:09:39] cine whoops when you go from props out to props in when you're trying to drop elevation and then I took that my theory is that it has to do with the prop guards
[01:09:52] and I started going props in on the tiny whoop and the performance didn't change at all and that was that 1B 674 built a 2g4 with 40,000 KV Motors and he's having trouble when off
[01:10:07] throttle free free fall I can still hear the motors spinning any suggestions I mean that's they should be spinning are you saying that that they're they're spinning too much if the motors
[01:10:22] didn't spin when you're free falling and you're off throttle it would just flop all over the place like the motors have to spin that's air mode doing its thing if the motors are spinning too
[01:10:36] much then try backing the the pids off or adding additional filtering and that might help but it's hard for me to troubleshoot this when the answer to your question is that they need to be
[01:10:50] spinning right like I don't have enough to go off of here I'm just kind of making guesses but an an easy way to check this is to grab the master multiplier and move it down a little bit
[01:11:01] and see if the behavior changes that's a really good troubleshooting point for a lot of issues that happen in Flight either grabbing the M Master multiplier and going up or down and just
[01:11:13] see if that has an effect it's probably not going to fix the problem but it's going to tell you something and so see if that has an effect and then you've got a little bit more data to kind of
[01:11:22] try to figure it out and if you're going to ask somebody to help you troubleshoot it's going to help them a ton so that that's a really good first step for you Denzel the turble says noticeable
[01:11:32] difference between RC and Power 102 and 1003 notice is wondering I'm sure if the KV is the same the RC and power 103s in my experience and everybody I've ever talked to about them just
[01:11:45] demolish your batteries and the 102s have plenty of power so there's really not a lot of point to going up to the 10 3 on a tiny whoop unless you're doing like a 2in build or an open prop 2 and
[01:12:01] 1/2 inch build or something but I've not run them there so I can't really speak to that but on a on a 75mm tiny whoop there's no need for any more motor than the 102s they make all
[01:12:11] the power in the world and they're nice and light and Curtis hay says I have a 2g4 that used to work fine but recently tried to fly it and the VTX can't lock with my Speedy B vrx on my HD
[01:12:24] zero goggles it's slid sideways never locks other vtx's are fine I mean if other vtx's are fine that aiio is just blown up and unless you you screwed around with the
[01:12:38] VTX table and screwed that up I mean you might as well try to put the VTX to find the VTX table and put it on there but it's certainly sounds aiio is shot tiny
[01:12:56] whoop AIO even though the 2g4 is the most reliable tiny whoop AIO that I think we've ever found it's still a tiny [@$#%] AIO and garbage because they all are so it sounds AIO is
[01:13:12] shot but you might as well reinstall BetaFlight and or grab the VTX table and dump it into the CLI and see if that helps but it's sounds VTX AIO is has
[01:13:27] died of death demo FPV says have you seen the Nimble 65 from sub 250 any interest in it will you get one I can't really afford to buy any of these ready to flies and none of these
[01:13:39] companies send them to me so will I get one almost certainly not any interest in it you never know see if I can find it there it is oh god what the hell the deal with this canopy so the canopy
[01:13:57] looks unbelievably heavy which is is an immediate turnoff it's got 702 27,000 KV Motors on there that's a little bit light oh God it's 21 Grams no I'm not interested in it 21 grams is just way
[01:14:22] too heavy it's because of that canopy that canopy is super cool looking so people will probably buy this but for anybody that wants something that flies good this canopy is a terrible idea like
[01:14:33] something that looks good is always almost always going to be like outrageously heavy wait 720p what hold on okay that that's frustrating that's just
[01:14:49] a lie uh zero interest in it nor should you I I have a real problem so maybe that camera is 720p but you're not getting 720p because it's analog and I have a really big
[01:15:06] problem with that that is a super shitty thing to do I get why they do it and that's just good marketing but no that that's shitty to say the camera is 720p you're going to get
[01:15:20] Crystal Clear video and then you put it through a VTX that absolutely does not support 720p because analog does not support 720p it's what is it 480 or 540 or and I I
[01:15:33] consider that to be like just a shitty thing to do so I'm not giving them any more a time I'm not interested at all it's too heavy and they won't they won't send it to me for free and I
[01:15:46] I just can't afford to buy all these BNF's you shouldn't get it either though that that's too heavy 21 gam is too heavy you can build something that outperforms the [@$#%] out of that
[01:15:58] Moss one says I also switched acrob 75 blv 5 to the mobula V3 mobul 7 V3 frame and whoa saved four oh right right right right saved four grams because of the carbon fiber brace the
[01:16:13] the blv 5 frame is super heavy that's a good switch that's a good switch to make on the on the acrob b75 blv 5 nice it must fly a lot better with that decrease in weight I
[01:16:26] couldn't believe how heavy that thing was when I got it but man did it Fly decent for for how heavy it was Justin Müller says now we need a long-term durability test for 0702 072
[01:16:39] SE SE Motors oh it's hard man the the the durability I I I am not a big enough sample size for that which is why I I I typically don't really do it all that much
[01:16:55] I I've I had high hopes that these BetaFPV 0702 the the 1 millimeter motor shafts would be like infinitely strong lots and lots of people on Facebook and Reddit say that if you buy an 0702
[01:17:11] from anyone other than HappyModel the motor shafts are way stronger I've never found that to be true I've run plenty of other Motors I was hoping that magically these beta fpv7 twos
[01:17:25] would prove that to be right and they absolutely do not this right front motor is already starting to get banged up and I think the left rear is starting to get banged up as well so
[01:17:35] as I've said for many many many years 1 mm motor shafts are not bit are not thick enough for hard bashing on these tiny whoops they're not that bad but down below the motor Bell the motor
[01:17:51] shaft on all of these 72s is 1 and 12 mm and then they they neck it down at the Bell to 1 mm what the hell the one if they just left the whole motor shaft 1 and a half
[01:18:08] millimet we wouldn't have any of these problems as evidenced by the Weeble motor 0702 bells that they individually sell or when you buy their new screamers they come with a 1 and half mm motor
[01:18:22] shaft up here which will just never bend on a 65mm rig on a on the 75mm rigs that are heavier and more powerful you can bend these one and a half mil shafts it's not as it's not that bad though you
[01:18:35] got to really Hammer the hell out of them to bend that one and a half mil shaft 1 mm to 1 and a half that's 50% more thickness right that is massive that is a huge difference in strength
[01:18:51] and so none of the 72s with 1 mm motor shafts are going to be quite durable enough for me for how hard and often I crash it might be for you it's not that bad and these little Motors are
[01:19:10] pretty inexpensive so it's not the end of the world but it's a super bummer that they didn't choose 1 and a half millimeter maybe enough of us will buy the the Weeble 1 and a 12 mm
[01:19:24] stuff you can just buy the bells so if you have HappyModel 72s you can go on Weeble and buy these motor Bells with 1 and half millim motor shafts and put them onto all your HappyModel
[01:19:37] Motors at the moment the only propellers that are available are the geman 1210s it's a totally decent propeller I really hope that the HQ ultra light props start to show up with
[01:19:52] 1 and 12 mm holes in them the 1.2 in ones that is but hopefully 6 months from now all tiny whoop boers have one and a half mil shafts all the propellers are available and then God
[01:20:08] knows what'll be the next weakest link in these but hands down the weakest link on Tiny whoops are the motor sha the 1 millimeter motor shafts and so I think if if we remove that weakest link
[01:20:23] they will get significantly more durable I have a feeling that the canopies might be the next weakest link mobul 6 old school canopies are outrageously strong so I don't
[01:20:37] know Morton upshot says my seven board may have died what is the best board of 2024 that will replace it believe it or not it's still the X12 in my opinion the the that same X12 board that that
[01:20:53] thing has for a 75mm rig that's my go-to especially because it seems to handle 2S one of these 2S builds is on the X12 board forget which one it is and I've put a bunch of batteries
[01:21:08] through it and crashed the [@$#%] out of it and it is still hanging in there so the the X12 is ultra magic because if you decide to go 2S you can you don't have to buy a
[01:21:22] different AIO and it also works 1S and I still think it's maybe the best 1S board you could put a you could make a pretty good argument that the the air 65 5 in one
[01:21:35] board is better for a 1S 75mm rig that's the board that they put on the the 75 air the air 75 my big problem with these current gen of BetaFPV boards is that when you unplug your video
[01:21:53] antenna it has a tance to rip the UF off the board and so I have a really hard time recommending the the the new lightweight BetaFPV boards because of that and I have not heard or seen
[01:22:06] anywhere that they are doing anything to fix that I don't think that they can do anything to fix that I think that they've made the PCB so thin to save weight that it's just made the the top
[01:22:20] couple layers of the board a lot weaker um and I mean that would make sense right like they haven't said anything about it nobody has said nobody else has said anything
[01:22:32] about it so it's like you want lightweight you're going to sacrifice some durability and for me durability is super important super super super important Morton upshot
[01:22:47] says oh we got that Justin Müller says to make you happy props out helps with prop wash and ya'all wash out maybe on a on a on a low powerered build maybe I don't have any low
[01:23:03] powerered builds anymore and you shouldn't either there's no reason to have these low powered builds anymore it's just silly you're you're just leaving a lot of performance on the
[01:23:10] table holy [@$#%] Justin Müller tagged me 7,000 times in a row all right here we go we're reading an essay Justin Müller says with props in if you're making a oh this is
[01:23:25] it looks like he's just going over everything that I that that I already went over he probably 1051 maybe that's before I uh I went through all of this
[01:23:42] so he just typed out the whole thing that that that I already covered and he says are you happy now he was he probably typed that out like one minute before I I went over
[01:23:54] over it before I went over all that YouTube just did the thing scrolling back up to try to find my place and there we go Justin also eventually says props out will also
[01:24:08] cool the poor 5amp AIO out and out in and in maybe I mean any advant like props out is going to pull more air in on the sides like this but props in is going to pull more air in the front and the rear
[01:24:40] so I I would think that it's six in one half a dozen in the other the fets are out here though okay maybe maybe the fets do sit out here so pulling more air in the side
[01:24:54] could potentially keep the fets a little bit cooler maybe I don't the I don't mine don't get too hot I I don't I I build them and tune them in the way that I don't have the the overheating
[01:25:07] problems although I have had overheating problems in the past that's interesting I never thought about that video title was beta 75x procs out for the win yep I remember that video
[01:25:18] from years and years and years and years ago eil 4 myg says when you have the idle speed too low on a drone what effects does it have when flying and flipping doing freestyle it can
[01:25:30] potentially cause the motors to stall out so when you do a really hard flipper roll in the middle of it when you're zero throttle a motor can basically stop spinning and that'll cause the
[01:25:46] thing to just fall like go completely off set point and almost fall out of the air it'll usually recover it's super obvious because you'll you'll be flying it or if you're if you just like Hammer
[01:25:58] the throttle and then go zero throttle and it starts falling through its own wake that can put enough air up through the propeller to stop it and then it'll it'll kind of fall it's again
[01:26:09] it's super obvious you'll be flying it and all of a sudden it'll ah and then it'll kind of recover and so if if you're flying a rig and it's like randomly like starting to fall out of
[01:26:20] the air and then catching itself raise the idle speed and see if that helps the problem chonan says please try the 1.5mm 40 mm HQ bblades do I have those wait I are those
[01:26:43] new I thought they only had 45s hold on these are all my 40s these are all one mil are those new I don't think I have any of those that's not
[01:27:12] allowed is I I'm personally offended when I don't have every single propeller that exists because retail therapy is a thing and props are cheap I don't have any of
[01:27:23] those I don't think I knew that they were making those I I've been wanting those forever I'm absolutely thrilled to seemingly be hearing right now that they're making those
[01:27:37] who has them tiny whoop wee bed see if I can find them I can find them I'll order them I would love to I I love the one millimeter HQ ultr light 40s don't do it again Canon don't
[01:27:52] you do it again that's not how you spell tiny let's try 40 mimer I just type in 400 millimeter I did indeed I'll be damned oh no it's three bade you1 V2 what
[01:28:28] I don't think I knew that those existed either not that I would run them but where are they holy hell there they are how did I not know that this exists what world do I living
[01:28:49] in it doesn't even look like they're new what all right I'm leaving this I'm leaving this tab opened I gotta I just did a tiny [@$#%] order too I gotta I'll find a reason to do another tiny
[01:29:04] [@$#%] order to get some 1.6 hell love that awesome wait do I have those on a build did I maybe I just got one set did I just get one set of them no I don't have any
[01:29:25] how did I miss that I'll be damned okay no I'm getting nose as soon as I can monkey dluffy says I kept breaking oh that's one thing that was missing from the weight when I
[01:29:43] weighed the build I was supposed to do tonight propellers monkey dluffy is in the house he says I kept breaking the plastic posts on the underside of the the frame between the
[01:29:54] battery and the AIO any ideas how to prevent it that's actually my build absolutely I've had the same problem and I have almost completely I've ever since I've done this I have not had the
[01:30:11] problem again so I really not have a single mobio 7 V2 frame floating around here just E6000 it's just E6000 is the solution just put a little bead of it around the around those
[01:30:32] supports here you go you're going to have to pull the build apart to really get onto the top of it but just run a bead of E6000 all the way around the top and bottom of
[01:30:49] those supports the other thing it does is it makes the batteries fit a little bit better which is like a I didn't expect that but that'll almost completely fix the problem I've not had
[01:30:59] a single one break and I I I went through three or four of them breaking in that exact same spot don't throw those frames away save those frames cut the other upper battery
[01:31:14] support off and then you can put two s batteries in it if you ever end up doing a 2S 75 build that setup no top supports if you run the BetaFPV 12 amp AIO which
[01:31:29] doesn't have a USB port on the bottom the tiny whoop 300 Mah BT 3.0 battery fits perfect in here and this Frame is one full gram lighter than the V3 also you don't have to run the motor risers
[01:31:47] on this Frame this Frame is designed for 2 millimeter tall Motors so save those mobu 7 V4 frames that you've broken the the the top battery supports on you'll you'll use
[01:31:59] them someday look at this fancy little tiny whoop case that custom FPV made for me he sells these on Tiny whoop.com But I messaged him on Instagram I saidcan you make me one of those cases with
[01:32:13] my logo and he said hell I would love to maybe this one too and he just seems like a genuinely nice guy on top of everything else my lips are a [@$#%] mess from the cold Curtis hay
[01:32:42] says he uses the free software do if the paid software fixes your software issues try before you buy the paid version of the Canon software the only thing it opens up is 1080
[01:32:57] support and it already performs so bad at 720 that I'm not really willing to give them any money not to mention that like that's extortion I don't know I I I
[01:33:13] I'm not going to give him money if if like on one hand I would absolutely be willing to pay the money if it would work but that's pretty shitty if the regular software that's pretty shitty if you
[01:33:32] have to pay them to get stable software they have always had that upgrade available and their software but but their software was always reliable their software became completely
[01:33:47] unreliable when and it's is a little bit of a dick thing for me to totally blame Canon on it but it is Canon's responsibility their software became completely
[01:33:58] unstable when Mac Sequoia 15.0 came out but it's your responsibility as one of if not the biggest camera company on the planet to make software for all of the people live streaming with your gear
[01:34:19] to use and so I'm not going to blame Apple for that it's your deal you've designed your your cameras and your whatever system to force you to run your goddamn software right like Sony
[01:34:37] I think Fuji you plug the camera in OBS sees it all is right with the world which also makes your computer run better because you have one less piece of software running right and so if
[01:34:48] you're going to force me to run your dumbass software you got to make that software work you jerks so there you go and I I'm not giving them money if somebody specifically said that doing
[01:35:04] paying for the thing paying for the upgrade the premium version of the software did make it reliable I would think about it but from what I've seen on the internet this is it doesn't
[01:35:16] matter what free version paid version it's all super unstable on seoa right now there's loads of people having this problem JMP FPV says maybe if you don't swear at the camera every time it
[01:35:30] lags it will quit doing it nope nope I've tried it poly shortcut says could that TS 2S 75 work as a tiny lifter it pretty much is a tiny lifter the the the tiny lifters have the exact same
[01:35:45] Motors and a heavier frame and so yes absolutely and there will be oh oh okay so I'm gonna do this build just to kind no I'm not that would have been the build that I was going to
[01:36:04] do but instead what I'm actually going to do is I'm just going to pull apart one of it's going to be this one I'm going to pull this not tonight but I'm going to do this at some point I'm going to pull
[01:36:17] apart this 75mm analog 2S build which is on the motors that I like less the the sub 250 803 Motors the other one is on the 102 Motors that outperform these so I'm going to pull this part I'm going
[01:36:30] to pull the center off like I usually do take it out of this Frame and I'm going to put it into this Frame and that's how I'm going to see if these 802s are any good I'm going to take I am
[01:36:43] then going to put I'm going to probably sell these sub 250 803 Motors on the Etsy store and I'm going to replace them with these beta PV 11021 18000s that are sitting here in this
[01:36:57] Frame I'm going to take the mobu 6 canopy off and I'm going to replace it with this canopy this I think was created by Angry Dawn it's available over on thingiverse and it's for an
[01:37:06] insta 360 goto and this is for a run cam Nano and I'm going to make a non newbie drone tiny lifter with this setup after I test the 802s 802s test them first I could maybe do it with this beta
[01:37:27] FPV 12 amp board but eventually this is going to get linked back up with a WalkSnail VTX so maybe I'll just let this thing hang but yeah there will be another this is going to be a well
[01:37:42] maybe this might be an ultra light tiny lifter it depends this this is pretty heavy the the insta 360 go mount on the other tiny lifters is extr extremely lightweight but I have it in the new
[01:37:56] drone frame which is a little bit heavier so it might actually not end up being an ultra light tiny lifter but it'll be a different tiny lifter and it'll be a tiny lifter that uses the
[01:38:05] regular OSD chip so I'll actually be able to see where I'm going the one of the reasons that I don't fly the tiny lifters very much is that they're they use newbie drone aios and it's hard to see where
[01:38:19] you're going because they're OSD is makes the video feed kind of Muddy so the tiny lifters are hard to fly it's hard to see where I'm going so I've been kind of excited I I've
[01:38:33] I've had this for like years and I've just never had the right build for it and so I've had this sitting out on my desk to R remind me matter of fact I'm going to make a little build bag to
[01:38:47] really remind myself that I want to use these BetaFPV 1102s for or something I've already kind of tested them on the analog rig they're great but they're they're a bit much perfect for a tiny
[01:38:59] lifter though so this little build bag is an upand cominging tiny lifter that'll be cool I'm excited for that also I'm super interested to see what this Mount is like having the having
[01:39:14] the insta 360 go upside down with the lens nice and low on one hand it might get a bunch of duct in view but if you look this is got a lot of uptilt I have a funny feeling it might
[01:39:28] have too much uptilt like the tiny lifter is cool because you can fly it really slow and when you fly really slow you want as little up tilt as possible so that's another reason I haven't like
[01:39:39] gone crazy to do a build with this because I I have a funny feeling that it's too much uptilt and or it's going to have a bunch of duct in view because of how low the lens is on the on the
[01:39:50] regular on the tiny lifters the the camera mount the insta 360 go2 Mount is all the way up here right if you compare them if you compare where the lenses which is all that really
[01:40:03] matters are going to sit on the on the insta 360 go with this Mount the lens is all the way down here with this Mount the lens is is up here I know that doesn't look like a big difference but it really does
[01:40:18] matter with just sort of the geometry of this um what I am noticing though is that this is pushing the lens a little bit farther forward and that really does help not get ducts
[01:40:31] in view so this I I have high hopes for this still have high hopes for this I don't love that the bottom of the camera is going to be sticking up so much but I don't know maybe you can still get
[01:40:49] insta 360 go-tos maybe nope that's the three oh you can you can still get them look at that oh that's fantastic boy is that a lot of money though Jesus I do have Geek Squad protection on
[01:41:14] mine God knows if it's already run out though I've already had to use it once I don't know more tiny lifters to come Justin Müller says Teddy is running props in or props out Teddy is
[01:41:36] props in for sure he drops like a stone when I hold him at the top of the stairs and let him go I don't do that he's still alive isn't he level one drone says solder
[01:41:46] question which is better place a bit of solder on the tip before soldering with flux or just flux it or or just flux it and have the hot iron no extra solder both level one great question
[01:41:59] paste paste flux in a syringe is the the Chad of all Chads this is amazing use this on every single joint that's not already completely loaded up with with flux residue so do like put
[01:42:18] a little bit of this on every single joint you do and your life will be so much easier and your solder joints will be so much better and then putting a tin it's called tinning the tip of the
[01:42:31] iron is another great way to have a little bit of extra flux but the big thing that tinning the tip of the iron does is that you've got like you've got a big round ball of flux and then
[01:42:45] you've got a flat soldering iron tip so when you touch the soldering iron tip you get like the smallest little contact Pat there right whereas if you tin the tip of the iron you get a little blob of
[01:42:58] solder and when you drop that down it's going to make a nice big it's going to kind of go right it's going to make a nice big contact patch so good clean safe soldering is about
[01:43:10] transferring heat as quickly as possible so that you can then get the heat off of there as quickly as possible and so if you can get a nice big contact patch right away it's going to dump heat into
[01:43:22] that that joint quick you can get done and get the hell out of there if you have a dry soldering iron and you're sitting here waiting it's just dumping heat into this one little tiny point and
[01:43:34] it's actually going to put more heat into the pad and the work and everything cumulatively and it's just annoying for you because you're just sitting there waiting and you're going to start
[01:43:43] to push on it and it's just it's all bad so yeah do them both especially if you haven't been soldering forever the newer you are at soldering the more of these little tips
[01:43:57] and tricks you want to Stack Up on top of each other and if you like if you do all of the little tips and tricks soldering will become so much easier that even though you're not super
[01:44:09] experienced it won't matter because it's become so easy and it's about stacking those things right flux paste on the joint tin the tip of the soldering iron get your get this part of your palm flat
[01:44:22] on the deck so that you have bone support right stack all of these little tips on top of each other and soldering becomes not easy but like a whole hell of a lot easier that's for sure good
[01:44:34] question level one Justin Müller says I didn't was able I didn't was able to bend a shaft on beta fpd 072 or 072 SE in instead the Bell is bent oh my god I've not done
[01:44:57] that I've Not Bent a bell on a tiny whoop motor how the hell did you do that geez YouTube did the thing again scrolling back up choni with a $10 Super Chat he says wee bed here by some thank you dude
[01:45:12] very cool of you what are you saying though wee bed here by some oh weeed has them what the hell everybody has them the the props the 40 mm how did I miss
[01:45:34] that so those are the oh one and 1.5 I'll be damned Green 1.5 gray 1.5 how did I miss this all I'm leaving both of these tabs open I'll see which which website no which website I I can find some other
[01:45:51] stuff to order from to get to the well I guess tiny whoop doesn't have a free shipping amount thank you dude render says BetaFPV put out a revision for the G4 antenna issue did
[01:46:10] they really how can you tell how can you tell which ones are fixed and which ones aren't any idea Moss one says preach thank you dude Justin Müller says it helps cooling the UFL especially
[01:46:21] so the solder pad state together interesting not bulletproof though he says a pat smoke gooded snipers in the house what's up homie Denzel the terrible says uh start a new
[01:46:35] streaming camera fund no no the cameras are too expensive and we're coming into my like no gig season and so yeah the the funds are have to be like money that I can spend
[01:46:53] on food and El electricity and stuff so we got to hold off on the it would be nice to have funds until until gig season is is back I was actually I'm super bummed out man
[01:47:10] I I was supposed to have a really really really big paying gig next weekend flying for another cycling event but but the company that that was going to hire me for that fly
[01:47:26] fish Productions that has hired me for a lot of the cycling gigs they actually didn't get the gig and so that was I not going to say I was relying that on that gig but
[01:47:39] it would have been like multiple days and I charge them a ton of money because it's the live flying setup and because frankly they have the money and so that's a super super super
[01:47:49] bummer so I I have to be really careful go going into the to the cold season here witch cat says any good recommendations for a decent rpsm antenna for my BetaFPV V3 with one
[01:48:01] port stock antenna is definitely not the best TR RC makes the best antennas but for tiny whoops is that what that is BetaFPV V3 what the hell is that BetaFPV VR oh come on YouTube Jesus Christ
[01:48:17] with your chat nonsense V3 what is that fpb V oh goggles yeah TR RC buy true RC antennas you can't go wrong get a little stubby Wich cat says on Amazon TR RC is is what you want
[01:48:41] God damn it YouTube again stop scrolling me to the bottom just Miller says I don't know by Oh by removing prop or by crashing that's wild James Thomas says says so all the solder talk what
[01:48:54] brand of solder do you use mg chemicals I think yep mg chemicals it's good stuff Joshua bardwell's uh page FPV know it all has a link to mg chemicals solder just use that because there's a million
[01:49:13] different kinds it's confusing just use the the link that he's got witch cat says sorry so many questions the stream what's the best 4S battery charger that that can do storage charge no such
[01:49:24] thing as best there's only ever just different same act same answer actually go to FPV knowt all Joshua has a bunch of uh he has a whole charger and Battery section just
[01:49:36] just go by his descriptions of the Chargers he does a great job cool I'm caught up let's fly some batteries and it's probably almost midnight yep nine minutes left let's do a little bit of flying
[01:49:50] feel free to ask any last minute questions that you may have and then I'll see you guys on whoop Wednesday maybe we'll do that wacky tiny lifter build on on whoop
[01:50:07] Wednesday all right this is the air 65 Champion Edition with a slightly lighter weight antenna and HQ 1.2 by 1 Point two right yep 1.2 by 1.2x two by blades these are arguably the best
[01:50:32] 1.2 in 65mm motor to motor tiny woop propellers that exist if you don't have these yet see if you can find them I don't actually know if they're out yet but when they come out get some
[01:50:45] these props are phenomenal really really really I'm super impressed by these propell they make great power and they are hysterically lightweight oh God off to a good
[01:51:09] start all you got to do is turn the other way all is right with the world oh God oh my God the power is Maggie still working no way she's using bed by now okay I
[01:51:33] know Maggie goes to sleep early bro she's going to sleep at like 9:30 some nights I'm like y I'm just like literally my brain is just starting to wake up
[01:51:45] now man this room looks different when when I do that full room power Loop in this direction I always do it in this Direction all right let's not make these are kind of loud props I will say that
[01:51:59] let's not make a ton of noise up there oh God I [@$#%] love these propellers man this this rig too this thing is really impressive these mootor I mean it's basically just these
[01:52:13] motors but still props were props are props where props are due BetaFPV has made a BNF with with mega power to weight ratio uh-oh he
[01:52:33] rejected this room is weird without all the gates hanging from the ceiling oh god oh I don't know if I'm gonna be able to get out of here I'm in my flight bag luckily I'm
[01:52:44] just right over here though wasn't going to get out of that one witch cat tagged me but didn't say anything he might have dropped a link you can't use links brother metad
[01:53:01] dskin says when we do the Christmas stream how big of a Super Chat to Bonsai into the tree I'll do it right now no I won't to give you some idea for how not a lot of money it'll take to do that I
[01:53:15] will I will do that I will almost do that right now oh my god dude look that throw look at that [@$#%] throwI I will I will absolutely do that stop
[01:53:35] it let's do it again oh boy that was ugly my god oh bro I cannot believe it went through there that was wild I am I'll be honest man I am enjoying flying around here without so
[01:54:07] many gates it's a whole different thing I don't I don't like it as much but I like the change oh I'm hungrymy stomach just went bananas
[01:54:24] it what it does it's lets me fly bigger it lets me really like use the space the the room feels a lot bigger so I can just hurl this thing across the room and really charge around
[01:54:42] which is very fun once the gates are all up it's much more Technical and it's way more challenging but I can't there there's like there's specific like Pathways oh my God
[01:54:58] Canon wny there's specific paths where I can like fire it across the room when the when the gates are up right now I can just Hammer Full Throttle and just shoot it anywhere and there's a
[01:55:19] there's plenty of space come on work there we go it's a menace patch antenna on here on these goggles oo hey and there's still gaps you
[01:55:45] can any any room ever there are tons of gaps you just got to find you just got to find them it's a gap in here ready Gap through here hey Gap under here gaps in
[01:56:13] here whoa gaps through here rejected what it like and so being able to just hurl this thing across the room I get to like lay it out a lot more often right I get to just
[01:56:38] like and just let it do that I and I love that I I love generating a whole bunch of momentum and then going zero throttle and just seeing what happens and just like go super slow
[01:56:53] with a stick input and just let it sail is one of the most satisfying parts of FPV I that's one of the things that one of the reasons that everybody loves 5-in rig so much right because
[01:57:04] like it's makes you feel like a complete like act oh I Stevie wondered it son of a [@$#%] that was a good that was the best battery I ever flew too oh I steved it I steved it I did it
[01:57:22] I it's been a while I haven't Stevie wondered in a while oh people are still [@$#%] with notice I like to see it you love to see it new CiottiFPV live stream rule use use
[01:57:39] the word notice as often as you can that's mean don't do that that's mean un unless unless notice gets a kick out of it oh God also this gives us an excuse to do some Cube
[01:57:55] work I don't I don't like focus on the cube enough you can with just one little whoop Cube come on you dirty bastard stop ping ponging around the room with one Cube you can do a lot great for
[01:58:12] the stop it that's crash recovery screwing me over actually great power Loop in through one side and then in through both both man crash recovery is is actually really screwing me over a
[01:58:26] lot right now it's does not like hitting the ground when you hit the ground hard enough crash recovery activates and it gets really confused and it'll I can actually like
[01:58:41] hit the ground flat and then crash recovery will take me off axis in some weird Direction and then I have to wait for crash recovery to shut off before I can then try to save it oh man
[01:58:55] YouTube just bombed too now it's not just Canon that that is [@$#%] over live streamers it's YouTube as well we go we're back we're back all right come on stop that get out of here
[01:59:22] there we go still is putting Stevie Wonder lyrics in the chat what's up midnight Jesus popped in late what's the 2S 75 build I have a couple different ones the easiest one is
[01:59:35] just to do an X12 basically buy a buy a mobula 71s elrs and then buy BT 3.0 tiny whoop bt3 3.0 300 Mah 2S batteries and you can do the build like really cheap the motors that come with
[02:00:00] the that come with the mobula 7 1S are not the best Motors but they're pretty decent and they're about the right KV you're going to need to motor motorum down a little bit do like 80%
[02:00:18] but that's like the super easy button for a really decent 2S analog 75 mil woo it'll let you fly like this outside it'll give you like the the power and response and all the good
[02:00:43] things to fly like this in the front and back of your house oh God I'm starting to really dig that drop down low here and then throw it to the other side of the coffee
[02:01:01] table oh but I also I'm really happy to have this this Gap back this is one of my favorites but boy is it difficult oh come on you fartbag bastard this one back under here man is it
[02:01:26] difficult to get this thing settled down I will say this it could just be because it has so much power but this air 65 Champion is harder to fly accurately elevation wise than the rigs
[02:01:42] that I've got on the HappyModel Motors I think that the HappyModel Motors put power down in a more linear way a little bit more linearly around like 30 to
[02:01:57] 40% oh boy we've gone we've gone analog rainbow that's rare oh boy I I have a lot harder time flying low to the ground with this rig than my custom builds
[02:02:22] it'll be fine once I power cycle it see the BetaFPV boards do that sometimes when you hit them really hard it's annoying oh god oh here he comes there he is oh what is this [@$#%]
[02:02:45] shaking what is this shaking oh did I break this did I break another one of these canopies no why is it why is it shaking what are you doing why are you doing that tiny whoop I've only got one
[02:03:03] battery left but hold on let's see if we can figure this out real quick I'm going to Stevie Wonder it watch me watch me what's happening with you little guy did the camera slip in the mount
[02:03:19] sure did oh boy oh oh we've got a problem here oh wait no okay no no no the camera just slid slid forward out of the mount I hate these g string mounts man I really I I I really really really don't
[02:03:37] like them this is the best of them I think this this BetaFPV one but I I just I I just do not like this style of cameram Mount I'm very spoiled though the the
[02:03:57] mobula 6 canopy is just magic off axis says what camera angle do you use on your indoor whoops it's like 10 to 15 or so degrees yeah not tons cuz when you run tons of uptilt
[02:04:14] it's hard to slow down but not like zero zero up tilt just feels super weird to me um so the camera basically just slid forward and you can't have that in this Mount because of the way
[02:04:28] the mount like tightens on the front part of the camera and so I just had to unscrew the little screw in the front push the camera back and now retighten the the little
[02:04:44] screw in the front here and all was right with the world last battery thanks for hanging friends SE fpv.one this way when I review stuff you don't have to think is he being nice
[02:05:05] about this because he wants that company to send him more stuff the answer is no nobody sends me anything anyway couple companies do send me stuff which is shocking I mean it to me it means that
[02:05:15] they've got a lot of confidence in their stuff but for the most part I don't get hardly any stuff to review which is fine you guys support me and that's what's important and I'm not
[02:05:29] really all that interested in in reviewing stock rigs I like custom builds let's just let's just spend a second appreciating the fluffiness of Teddy spaghetti's legs
[02:06:03] I can do this all day oh oh let's just do this the whole battery oh [@$#%] he's baring his teeth now look at him oh I love this dog so much oh you going to eat
[02:06:45] me you get that little mosquito buddy oh get it go ahead get it big tough boy he'll get it now oh no wow usually he gets all excited it's we'll just we'll leave it on the
[02:07:05] ground for a second so he thinks it's wounded he's not into it at all oh God hey easy fella easy careful oh boy oh no it's fine relax oh I don't usually fly back behind the
[02:07:35] TV for obvious reasons but sometimes you just got to go for it oh no oh we got it a we're back we're back there we we in it oh god oh that's a nice
[02:08:06] throw nice throw over the table Teddy are you into it you going to come eat it what's up I'm not Stevie wondering I was prettyy sure I was going to Stevie Wonder it oh is he interested again
[02:08:28] nope little bit interested whoa easy easy let me try to get this let me try to get this little Gap here again ah settle settle got it there is the there's the easier
[02:08:50] version of that g Gap where I just rip through up okay okay okay or just go through up here but that's no fun why do why do something easy that's kind of fun when you can do something
[02:09:10] damn near impossible that's only fractionally more fun is this camera rotated in the mountain or something I I just had a weird moment of like confusion no good oh no yep it was a
[02:09:24] little bit rotated in the mount that's all I got free midnight Jesus says I thought the last hole in the beta FTV canopy is 25 degrees do you drill a little hole
[02:09:38] modify it for 15 nope I run it in the last hole that might be 25 I I with this rig I noticed that there's no duct in view so this is definitely higher uptilt than I usually run on
[02:09:55] all my other builds with the mobula 6 canopy where there is a little bit of duct in view so th this thing I've been flying this a lot recently but previous to them sending this to me a
[02:10:07] few weeks ago I fly my rigs with the the different Mount and less up tilt way way way way way more often but you're probably right that that does look like a lot of uptilt and just
[02:10:20] whenever there's no duck in view that's a good amount of uptilt that's no ducts in view means like I would say like 20 degrees or more up till it does depend on how high the camera is sitting
[02:10:32] and how far forward the camera is sitting so this is not a one- siiz fits-all kind of thing but if there's no duct in view it's going to be at the least 15 degrees uptil
[02:10:44] probably 2025 or to the Moon right there's a massive clump of hair on this on motor number three that's a big one and then the last comment of the live stream is
[02:11:02] from ml re says thoughts on flywoo 102 25,000 now that you did those tests too heavy for 1S and too much overkill for 2S right just rewrote the message with your name sorry mod no worries
[02:11:14] pretty much yep that's pretty much it not necessarily too heavy for 1S just not powerful enough for 1S I R those flywoo 102 23,500 is forever and they're okay the RC and
[02:11:30] Power 102 2200s are just as good if not better and so if given the choice I would do the RC and power 2200s for a 1S build but boy are you leaving a lot of performance on the table with a 1S 75mm
[02:11:52] build 2S is the way you might have to buy some new batteries but just trust me it is so good it is so so so so so good you owe it to yourself to do the the 2S build on
[02:12:12] a 75mm rig that you're going to fly outside the house it is Magic you could run those on 2S with like a 60 % throttle limit's probably worth 40 bucks to buy a proper set of 102 18,000
[02:12:29] 19,000 KB Motors whatever the hell the RC and powers are you're still going to motor limit them you're going to do like an 80% motor limit 22,000 23,500 that's just too high of a KV to motor
[02:12:40] limit all the way down for 2S it'll work but you'll lose a little bit of throttle resolution you'll lose a little a little bit of efficiency if you already have the motors just do it and then when
[02:12:49] you break one of them replace them with 18,000 19,000 KV 102 RCM Powers cool thanks for hanging friends SE fv.com click all the buttons love you bye I'm not ready see you guys on
[02:13:07] Wednesday here's some flying the cine whoop at Atlanta Auto around an actual helicopter love you bye see you friends n a
