[00:01:55] heyyy hey heyy hey happy New Year happy New Year friends welcome to 2025 oh my God that's what I did today what did you do I've been awake since 5:00 a.m. I got
[00:03:28] 1 hour of sleep uh um there you go yeah so that was the part the day two of this so the these guys are filming the pilot for a show about imploding buildings and
[00:03:59] they got themselves a good old old school experienced FPV pilot to get it right that was hard that that was a little difficult to get whole bunch of wind as you could
[00:04:18] probably notice I had to fend off the the urge to dive the damn thing I really wanted to I really wanted wanted to dive it but after watching rotor Riot has filmed two
[00:04:36] demolitions one of those two Drew Dove the building and he got like one second of cool like stuff flying past the 5- in rig and then once he was at the bottom like he can't fly into the
[00:04:54] destroyed building and so he's just kind of flying away and the only shot is just like a little bit of dust cloud on the right side and then a little bit on the left side and I I was not going
[00:05:07] to have that happen and so I played it safe and I put two batteries into so I talk to the I got a whole bunch of other b-roll but I talked to the like the main guy that does the destruction
[00:05:24] destruction great that does the Demolition and I'm like tell me as much as you possibly can about the timing of this cuz this is this is tough and he's like okay there's
[00:05:36] going to be a siren that sounds like this so there's no there's no countdown whatsoever for where we were standing we were like half a mile away so they have this massive exclusion Zone and
[00:05:48] so I was basically about a half a mile away and he said 2 minutes there's going to be a siren that sounds like this and he's like at one minute there's going to be a siren that
[00:05:57] sounds like this and he's there's going to be a big series of bangs and then there's an 8sec Gap and then there's a huge series of bangs and that that second series is
[00:06:11] what actually knocks everything and then he and then the buildings are going to come down in like roughly 12 or so seconds or so so like 20 seconds total 8C Gap where not a lot
[00:06:21] happens D and so got a bunch of b-roll and then and then what is this glitter no it's tinsel and then spent two full batteries just charting the amount of time that it took me to launch and to
[00:06:43] get to a spot where by this point I'd already kind of decided to not dive it I was like nope like because of the way the wind because of the wind and because like we were flying the front of
[00:06:55] the building where like so my one idea the only way that I could see diving it right was to come down the front rotate into it pitch back and then let it get real low and then Full Throttle
[00:07:13] out and back up does that make sense so like if this is the building right start to dive normal and then but then rotate through it which I hate you guys
[00:07:30] know that and then pitch back like this to capture it wait until I got really low this is the problem I would have to get really low right to frame the whole thing and then Hammer the
[00:07:43] throttle and then right but I was again like far and there's buildings and we were on the front side of the building if we were if if i' flying the back side of the building where there was a big
[00:08:01] parking lot and not a lot of power lines and stuff that might have been an option but I wasn't I was in the front and then there were these like buildings in the way and just like realistically that
[00:08:11] would have been a recipe for fail safing or just not catching it or whatever and so I didn't do that I I just I I said what I've got a perfectly clean shot just running
[00:08:26] straight up to the building and see I spent two batteries figuring out how long it takes me to get from where I was launching to the spot that I wanted to start uh the path from timed
[00:08:41] that out and then I timed out the path I found like landmarks like there was this perfect little two like scraggly ass trees that were like the perfect starting point and just timed it out
[00:08:52] and and then like paid attention to the field of view because I knew that dust cloud was going to I figured if I'm going to do the safe path I better damn well catch that dust cloud right not
[00:09:03] just the building dumping down and so I and I just kept doing it I just spent those two batteries just keep timing it out keep timing it out eight seconds right like eight seconds I've
[00:09:13] got before this thing starts coming down and the dust cloud moves out and that I mean I maybe I wish I could have been a little tiny bit closer to it but the wind was like the wind was
[00:09:28] gusting up and down and it's started to gust really as soon as the the first set of charges went off the wind started to really gust I'm like ah [@$#%] but I already had the nose down so I
[00:09:39] can't just bury the nose even more so I mean I was in it put the nose down and it's we're just in it and I got close enough and caught that whole dust cloud the cine whoop
[00:09:52] came back disgusting the the go the GoPro is still all dirty I I wiped everything down a little bit but like there's still all this everything is just
[00:10:06] disgusting and Def filters are all gross but yeah ABS everybody everybody loved it all the all the the static camera operators were like man come on they're not going to use any of our
[00:10:23] footage and so that was wild here's the funniest thing so when I was flying those two test batteries I re like At first I was just counting in my head I'm like 10 or what the first thing
[00:10:41] I started counting was how long does it take me to get from where I was launching to near the building so I'm sitting there like one two 3 4 and then I looked down in the in the bottom right
[00:10:51] corner of the DJI OSD and I'm like oh of course jackass there's a there's a timer right there the the the timer that counts up for your flight time well the the so I'm like cool I don't have to
[00:11:05] count I just use the timer and then so the first siren goes off and I'm like all right cool and I'm just and I'm ready I'm waiting for that second timer because like 1 minute was plenty it took
[00:11:17] me about 40 seconds to get into position and I didn't want to be hovering there too long right like that's wasted that's there's nothing going on and so the second one goes
[00:11:28] off I'm like awesome plug the quad in on the ground goggles on anybody that's rushed a battery on DJI old school DJI knows that it says disarmed and you don't really get your OSD until like
[00:11:44] there's like I don't know 15 seconds or 14 seconds I I'm usually pretty good about from from so I got really good at that timing the the timing of plugging the quad in and then it giving you the
[00:11:56] proper OSD from the cycle the the live broadcast uh Criterium cup and all the cycling series because on those I'm doing like 40 50 60 Battery swaps a day and so it's h that is happening
[00:12:11] constantly right so I have like a pacing for that in my head but the adrenaline was going and I just I armed it probably like one second too early and took off and I'm like son of a [@$#%] and disarmed
[00:12:27] 000000 the time I'm like well all right one two 3 but I I was able to just count the the 8 seconds out and it was totally fine but it was just it was so fun it was such a perfect example of like you
[00:12:39] know adrenaline accelerates time and stress kind of accelerates time so that I was I was staring at disarmed in the in the the goggles I had the regular OSD but the DJI baked in OSD was
[00:12:54] stuck on on zero seconds and disarmed so that was super funny and then and as you saw like I I still got there early I was still like sitting there waiting for that first set of charges go
[00:13:09] off so I I could have very easily waited another couple seconds and had proper OSD but it didn't matter anyway I put the nose down at the right time and came out perfect the not perfect
[00:13:22] close to perfect everybody that play I played it for was like freaking out bunch of like the like the engineering team they were like oh they were picking out like real specific
[00:13:33] things like oh you can see the waves in the windows and all this stuff and so yeah it went super super well the the guys that are doing this show they're blown away they're the the
[00:13:45] main guy is like dude I'm flying you around the world with me so I mean we'll see I it's not a super high they're shooting for Netflix flow state was was supposed to
[00:14:02] be on Netflix too right Netflix is hard so we'll see if if they manage to get the pilot through and get the show on the Netflix sure they'll probably have enough budget but I'm
[00:14:15] I'm not I'm not going to hold my breath it's was a fairly small kind of crew we'll see you never know you never know when when certain stuff does and doesn't make it having a $100,000
[00:14:28] budget versus a $110,000 budget for camera crew and editing and that that kind of stuff there's no guarantees a $10,000 crew with a really good edit and a really good idea can get on to
[00:14:43] Netflix before 100 Grand with something that's not as whatever click bitable basically so we'll see but I'm completely exhausted I got one hour of sleep last
[00:15:00] night and then when I got home I got maybe maybe like two hours of sleep before Teddy went completely insane and woke me up and I haven't been able to get back to
[00:15:12] sleep although it kind of got I I couldn't go right back to sleep and then I was like I just got to Iron Man this [@$#%] and then I'll be able to get some sleep
[00:15:21] tonight so that was my day what did you guys do today happy New Year you slimy sons of [@$#%] Frank Nicholas is first LOL the kson Curtis Hayes FPV toast Cole powers choni and Johnny V MC Shakey FPV CB FPV

[00:18:04] stuff down here that you might laugh at we are going to be continuing with the camera testing today tonight Kevin Sumer made this awesome little Mount and we're going to use
[00:18:22] it oh I gotta get the right connect oh balls I might have to do a little bit of soldering so we did camera testing before but there were a couple of cameras on here
[00:18:35] that not many people are going to really run and so we're going to revisit's and I'm going to swap a couple of cameras in with the more sort of like realistic cameras that we would that we
[00:18:49] would use on Tiny whoops and then we should have like a definitive sample of all different cameras and what they look like if Teddy doesn't quiet down soon I'm going to attack him
[00:19:03] with the Vengeance of a thousand Sons he peed on the wall earlier he threw up on the stairs he's being a total dick one of his Alia's friends he's just decided he hates and it's not cool it's not
[00:19:18] cool he's a bad dog Maggie got us a bad dog what's this one over here what's this camera over here oh that's the pinch cam isn't it yeah pinch this is that foxier Bing Bong so
[00:19:40] there there's slots for two more cameras here we've got newbie drone bi cadx ant CO3 BetaFPV CO3 which was sort of like the unofficial winner last time runcam Nano
[00:19:56] 3 this is the foxier razor and then this is the the pinch the tiny pinch and so we've got two spots left and I've got a bunch of I got a bunch of cameras floating around so I'm sure there
[00:20:13] are two more two more bing bongsI'm tired bro I'm so [@$#%] tired I can't even explain to you how [@$#%] tired I am oh boy I've not been sleeping right lately I I have had a really hard time sleeping
[00:20:38] so this is a foxier razor and so we already have one of those all right so the foxy eraser is good to go I could do I do have a tiny whoop Ultra wide
[00:20:54] pinch here's the thing though like if you want if look this is a meme camera I'm not really going to test this because it's super interesting and it's they're not that expensive so like
[00:21:09] if you love super wide angle cameras by all means get this but like this is a meme camera even Jesse like hey understands it's just for funsies so we're not going to test that one
[00:21:22] we're we're going to leave that one out this is a bag of newbie drone bi already got one of those on there so we're good there I thought that I had a camera in this box here that we
[00:21:40] would test I was wrong oh look at this this is the this is the driver that the tiny whoop destroyed just so that it's not that big just so if you Hammer a tiny whoop into a speaker cone
[00:22:02] it's can break it for sure it can break it this is absolutely tiny whoop damage here and there's a crack from the surround all the way into the voice coil I'm having a hard time finding this
[00:22:16] exact driver I could so my my this is from my Paradigm Center channel which is a V4 I I I wasn't paying enough attention on eBay and I just typed in the name of the center channel and there was a
[00:22:33] driver and I got it and it has it's got a different cone design and the outer diameter is a little bit different too it's from a version two so that I'm not going to put that into the
[00:22:45] enclosure the version three there's one up there for 40 bucks it's got the same cone design so I assume that the outer diameter is the same but I'm a little bit worried and so I've got an
[00:22:58] eBay alert for a version 4 driver and in the interim I actually just took E6000 and I ran a bead of E6000 on the top and bottom of the crack I'm super interested to see if it
[00:23:11] holds up I I I don't think that it will but it'll certainly be better than having just the raw crack there when you so the the center channel has two of these drivers apparently they've got
[00:23:24] them wired in I don't know parallel or series or something because when I pulled this driver out the other driver shut off so the center channel is just a dome Tweeter right now which sounds
[00:23:34] horrible and so yeah I'll be reinstalling this it's got to be a speaker nerd or two out there I'll let how it goes I'm super interested to see I doubt that it'll hold up speaker
[00:23:53] the the amount of GeForce that gets pulled inside of speaker cones is outrageous it's like up in the higher frequencies they move the speaker cone hard front and back and so I was
[00:24:07] going to super glue it cuz I thought like oh a hard connection would be better there but then I couldn't get the two pieces of the plastic to they kept doing this and then they would do
[00:24:18] this and this and I could get some of the plastic to line up perfectly but then the front part would get get off a little bit so I said what E6000 is going to be the best and I just
[00:24:29] basically like if this is the crack I like ran a bead down the down the crack and then I just pushed it back and forth so it's and then I got it on the top and the bottom so it's we'll see
[00:24:42] I'm very curious I'm going to let it cure for like two full days and then cranky to [@$#%] and we'll see what we'll see what's what what the hell what what
[00:25:00] what other camera oh the FX the fxt camera oh I got to pull it off the I got to pull it out of a rig the the mobul 6 2024 fxt camera which I really like it is in a build right
[00:25:17] now it is in a RC drift car chasing build that's kind of annoying but I'm going to do it I meant that's right I meant to order another one of those here it is another one of these
[00:25:36] fxt cameras oh it's direct soldered oh [@$#%] I'm just going to hold the I'm just going to hold the whoop up I'm just going to hold the whoop up it'll be
[00:26:11] fine it'll be fine what other camera what what other camera is there I I mean there is the old school BetaFPV camera the M3 uh but I tested that not too long ago and it wasn't great we should
[00:26:32] probably put it in the test though that's on the wrong connector though balls what other camera is there what what camera am I am I missing looking around real quick
[00:26:59] what is this oh no that's a that's an HD zero cam we don't care about that it's not that we don't care but what I'm saying there's a CO3 there um [@$#%] I I I I'm oh here we go here we
[00:27:21] go here we go I I got some cameras in here let's take a look I swear to God what wasn't there there was another camera I swear last time somebody was likewhy don't you have such and such camera in there
[00:27:40] when I was like oh I have one of those why isn't it in here let's see what we got so this is the this is the 199c we had this in there last time and it did horrible so no reason to put it
[00:28:00] back in there what do we got here what's this little fella what are you this is it's got the holes in the corner is this another fxt please be another fxt that would be
[00:28:26] wonderful FX o 2 What where did this come from FX2 that's the one I think that's the mobula 6 2024 camera it is oh my god dude look at me go okay so I can put this quad away
[00:28:46] oh right they sent me the they sent me the version one and the version two mobula 6 2024 bro Perfect all right so the fxt camera is getting in on the testing this is a
[00:29:03] cadx ant we've already got one of those on there it's going to get his ass kicked just like last time is it what's this little guy here a tiny little camera I wrote I made
[00:29:18] a red X on the back I don't know what this is is that what is that I don't know but it's got direct solder leads so it can go to hell this is a newbie Dr
[00:29:43] bi this is a foxier razor isn't there another foxy erazor floating around here there is indeed okay we've already got a foxy eraser in the test on the on the little thingy
[00:30:06] in the place the the thing thing in the place and these are KX ants as well why did wny do I remember us needing to do a second round of this camera testing have have I completely lost my
[00:30:27] marbles mobles I mean I guess we'll just put the fxt camera in and then I've got the the M the mo what's the BetaFPV camera mo3 is that it or is it
[00:30:44] mo2 m mo3 or mo2 you guys decide what sucks is it's the wrong connector it's the wrong connector don't screenshot that well hell I don't know yeah that that's it I mean the the these both of
[00:31:32] these cameras are going to outperform the cameras that I removed from this thing so I guess that's the deal I guess that's the deal this is less this is less of a part two and more of a what
[00:31:48] the part one should have been and in order to do this testing I just figured out what we're going to do this is the Matrix boarded rig it's got red Motors on
[00:32:03] it I want a I had a red and white build for a little while that I just thought was adorable because those are the colors in my logo and I've been
[00:32:16] missing having another having a red and white build and so we're going to convert this over we're going to convert this over into a red and white build and what's cool about that is the m o let me
[00:32:27] get the actual number M2 BetaFPV thanks so much for not putting the name of the camera on the camera that's super helpful hold on we'll find it beta
[00:32:49] FPV tiny whoop camera let's just see what that comes up with so the CO3 we've already got on there oh is it CO2 it might be CO2 CO2 that's so
[00:33:06] stupid I think it is the CO2 man it's Square it's not tall let's see it's got that little that little bump where the leads are hooked up to what no this one's
[00:33:29] this one's perfectly Square I swear to God this is like mo3 or mo2 what is this CO2 what is this nonsense I thought it was CO3 what are you sure would be nice if they wrote
[00:33:52] what the camera was on it let's search their site for camera and see what we find CO3 let's open them all up CO3 CO2 I don't have any co2's look at that stupid connector on the back that's
[00:34:16] ridiculous it's definitely not the cus camera it's definitely not the fetus camera oh good they don't have I swear it's m can you can can someone in chat know this please what's the old BetaFPV
[00:34:36] camera it's m I swear to God it's m M3 BetaFPV m o M3 I told you no that's the VTX oh hell what is their old camera called it's square is this not a BetaFPV
[00:35:13] camera that's what it's starting to look like dead stiff what the hell camera is this oh boy well I mean what's weird is it has the plug for it's got the BetaFPV plug on
[00:35:37] it I'm pretty sure this is a BetaFPV camera let let me do this let me let me take a look at the CO2 well here just in case anybody recognizes it here's what it looks
[00:35:55] like here's what it looks like this is what I'm trying to figure out so this is the little BetaFPV plug it's one of these stupid little plugs that that newbie drone also uses on their
[00:36:06] aios but I'm pretty sure this is not a newbie drone camera this is what the back looks like right and it's a small it's a small board it's one of these small boarded
[00:36:26] cameras and so the Mystery Begins and there's zero silk screening on it what about co1 that is going to be a loopy live stream oh it's the co1 look at your boy look at the big brain on Brad I'm Brad
[00:36:58] that's the one I knew it was a BetaFPV cam yeah yeah yeah it came with this canopy right right right right right right okay cool so we're two generations old it sucks I
[00:37:10] mean it's not a great camera look 2019 Albert Kim is is this is the co1 camera is that what he sounds like I don't I don't remember I haven't watched one of his videos in [@$#%]
[00:37:23] eons a this is if you want like a good solid factual live stream tonight ain't the night I'm just too tired man I'm just completely exhausted look I stream 10 hours a week there there there are there
[00:37:54] are many other hours of live streams where I have a functioning human brain tonight's not going to be one of them I I I'm not going to apologize either I was about to say I'm sorry but
[00:38:05] I'm not sorry I do many hours of really solid live streams and support me over on patreon or else I don't know man I don't know is this this is this is
[00:38:27] ridiculous 2025 we are a quarter of the way to 21 to year 2100 thankfully I won't see that year I will I will be but a distant memory by that time thank
[00:38:52] God I don't know I'm not convinced we're going to make it out of this year but that's just me what do I know H prepare for the oligarchy friends it's gonna
[00:39:09] suck all right here we go let's let's can you guys calm down please God damn of loud mouths screaming and yelling this is the fxt camera I'm going to stick it to the I'm going to stick it to the man
[00:39:30] ois who knows where that's from I'll give you a cookie if what that's from I'll be very impressed Stick it to the Man yosis it's from a movie it's all I'm giving you if you hit vhp with a little bit of
[00:39:50] heat it's becomes more sticky again it becomes it R stickies it becomes reified it's true Cole I I'm super behind on chat because I'm brain dead today I'm in like fullblown sleep depth
[00:40:17] mode for the record it's been a bunch of I mean on Saturday I had to wake up at 6 6: a.m. to go shoot a ton of b-roll for them when that when that 16 that was a 16
[00:40:31] story building by the way when that 16 story building was still standing up and so crazy couple of days and then the 12h hour live stream that kept me up till 2:
[00:40:48] a.m. it's been crazy and then and my hand hurts my hand hurts in here I don't know why tomorrow night I'm filming the the Christmas light show like I did last year you guys remember that who
[00:41:04] remembers that it's Six Flags it's one of those Christmas light things that you drive through it you pay like $25 and then you drive through a bunch of Christmas lights and you're like what
[00:41:16] the [@$#%] did I just do that for I could just drive around a neighborhood for free that was not that much better what am I doing with my life but there's like thousands of people that do it aren't we
[00:41:27] some gullible shits bring the whole family give us some money we promise it'll be a beautiful family bonding experience that was pretty harsh i g to be honest some families some families
[00:41:48] probably have an okay time none that I'm friends with okay so in the chat you can type c FPV and then my name will light up an orange you can do
[00:42:18] this you can do this with each other and if you want to get CB fpvs attention in your chat message type CB space FPV and for him his name will light up in Orange if you want to see
[00:42:31] what that looks like cuz it's just thrilling just type your own name and then you'll see it looks like this but instead of C FPV it'll say your name here and if the person didn't put an a
[00:42:58] there won't be an at the more every day with Bruno tag me and said wow that's pretty amazing CiottiFPV dude it was nuts this more I I'm a train wreck right now but it was worth
[00:43:23] it's was completely worth it Moss one says happy New Year they came for the FPV they stayed for the snotrag Pope I haven't started using this very much so there's only like two boogers on
[00:43:58] it I think they're on this side Ray FPV says happy New Year bro I'm a few minutes late mossan says happy New Year happy New Year cratons Cole pow says so much of that maneuver is blind
[00:44:12] and the chances of just kening into the ground is crazy I'll tell you what I'm glad I did it with a cine whoop doing a building implosion dive with a 5 in rig is a terrible idea it's just too
[00:44:25] fast you need something slow it's a slow thing that happens there are there's not much that 5-in rigs do well cine whoops are the answer for cinematic work it's almost like they thought about when
[00:44:39] they named the the the damn things Cole Powers also says if you spend a lot of time racing you'd have a real good sense of how long 8 seconds is mossan says we need Teddy 3D prints
[00:44:52] you'll get them I promise Moss one says careful with the print filament I'm sure that's not pet friendly I'm not going to feed it to him I swear leis says do you see my dog
[00:45:05] submission for the spute competition I did I did Lewis has a big dog I didn't know big dogs folded their back legs out that's pretty pretty hysterical Co power says clipping
[00:45:18] leads is faster than resoldering that is true that is true M Shakey FPV says what's the best way to cut off bolts that stick up too far in your
[00:45:31] frame Flush Cutters I'm going to go with Flush Cutters Co power says newbie drone should not name the camera the be hole cam hearing bi always makes me think the letters b i the letter the letter B the
[00:45:48] letter I dead stiff says the CO2 is the old camera and the CO3 is their current camera MO is their VTX good call Brother Aly cat says I'm new to FPV but learning with my P all right hold on
[00:46:01] let me not be a complete those of you that know me can handle this but for new people they're going to be like what the hell is this guy on lack of sleep that's what it's not usually this insane but
[00:46:16] look I do this for 10 hours a week every week I've been doing that for like three plus years sometimes it's going to be crazy new to FPV learning with a Pavo 20 Pro I know it's not a tiny whoop but do
[00:46:31] you have any thoughts on it as a beginner drone here's my main thought the first rig that you buy it's doesn't really matter you just you just buy something you you you
[00:46:45] buy something you fly the hell out of it hopefully and you learn a ton so don't overthink it is is my main advice like just just fly the hell out of it at some point you're either going to lose
[00:46:59] it or you're going to destroy it so bad that it's not worth fixing it's all good there's not a single person in FPV that's still flying their first rig so that that's actually a pretty decent
[00:47:12] first rig I mean you did well already picking that little bit annoying that it uses this super weird like 2.3 inch prop that's not on you that's the BetaFPV that's them
[00:47:27] I don't know I it's I it is annoying to me to do that because it locks you into one propeller and sure you can technically run a 2-in prop but it's just no
[00:47:43] and so that's on BetaFPV they should not have done that they should have made it either a 2 in or a 2 and a half inch but you did well Fly
[00:47:57] just keep flying it and keep flying it and keep flying it your first year in FPV is just stick time spend absolutely as much time as you possibly can in the simulator veloc drone is my
[00:48:07] favorite the physics are about as good as As Good As It Gets and then for real world flying just get as much in as you possibly can in the Sim there's no anxiety there's no
[00:48:24] risk of like losing any money or anything or hurting someone or something and so the Sim you're going to really learn quick when you fly for real the main thing that you're learning
[00:48:36] is how to deal with that anxiety and nervousness and it's real that that's like a real real real real real thing I've seen people who absolutely shred in the simulator and then when
[00:48:51] they fly for real they're a mess and they get real frustrated about it and it's like well like you got something on the line and it's and it's real and that's a good thing
[00:49:02] like I actually get freaked out when people are are not nervous flying for real those tend to be the people that hit someone in the face and give all of FPV a bad name and so it's
[00:49:17] all it's all totally natural it's all part of the deal welcome to the game be as stubborn as you possibly can try to make a an FPV friend that will hold you accountable and prevent you
[00:49:28] from quitting because there will be a point where you have repaired the same thing 14 times in a row and it's still not working and you go what this ain't worth it I quit if you have a
[00:49:37] close FPV friend hopefully they won't be in that period of I'm so tired of this I just want to quit and so they can be like no no no no you're not quitting if if I'm not quitting you're not quitting
[00:49:49] and then like a couple months later they'll have they'll be fixing a thing for the 13th time and they'll be like I'm so tired of this I'm putting everything on EB I quit and then you can
[00:49:58] be like no no no no no no no you're not hanging me out to dry you can't quit if I can't quit and then if you get through the first year then it's becomes a lot easier but it's tough
[00:50:09] that's how it used to be there was a startling lack of information eight years ago when I started in this it's probably a lot less obnoxious now but I'm sure it's still plenty obnoxious
[00:50:20] look my first 3D print MC buus says but they make ant cameras for the mulus modulus mobula I'm assuming seven that you can't buy from a reseller with the right plug on it way
[00:50:36] to go way to go fellas YouTube did the thing scrolling back up I don't think this is going to be a full two hour live stream for the record just just letting you
[00:50:53] know just letting any questions you guys have there though I will get them answered before the stream ends mainly because my stomach is a hot mess because I dared to drink like a half a
[00:51:04] glass of alcohol last night and so it's been a insert disgusting diarrhea joke here Cole PO says you might not live to 2100 oh we got that oh I didn't say it out loud though does doesn't
[00:51:26] mean Elon musk's AI won't download an enslave a copy of your Consciousness for all time I'm certain that there is enough Aaron Ciotti live stream content on YouTube that if machine
[00:51:40] learning at some point wanted to make a digital copy of me they could which is fine M shaki says AKA what is that rup rich rup wck rup AKA rup wck Co power says oh look it's the
[00:52:05] handkerchief oh it's the handkerchief James Thomas says so roster says 96k on the ESC he does but he doesn't really fly and so what does he know you use 46 do you NOP nobody uses
[00:52:23] 46 48 what do you think of this 96k will perform better on the thrust stand which is what Chris does right he does thrust stand testing every once in a while in his videos he'll fly in that little
[00:52:42] field I guess behind his place but he's this is going to sound mean but I don't mean any offense at all I I love that Chris is is in our world we're super lucky to have him but
[00:53:01] like he's not okay in in FPV there's all these things right that you got to learn social media had to test stuff had to review stuff had to how to whatever how to fly
[00:53:17] different people order those things in a different order personally getting good at flying and just flying in general has always been really high in my list of priorities and I've spent
[00:53:31] tens of thousands of hours doing that and I've gotten pretty decent Chris Rosser has pushed to the top of the list testing being an amazing engineer YouTube editing right down a lot
[00:53:48] farther on his list is flying and getting good at as a pilot and so of course there's not an infinite amount of time he's not going to really like notice the in the the subtle inflight differences
[00:54:04] of 48k versus 96k up top here is thrust bench testing and on the thrust bench 96 absolutely is going to perform better than 48 although he has shown time and time again well maybe not time and time
[00:54:20] again I guess he only really did that one ESC testing video he does show in there that 48k has better motor breing and then 24K has even better motor breaking but because he's not spending
[00:54:34] tens of thousands of hours flying he probably doesn't realize the importance of that motor breaking and so if you talk to any Pilots that like f that fly accurate like cinematic stuff or
[00:54:52] freestyle not many of them will be on 96 because of the lack of motor breing the reason to go up to 96k is that you want more power and more efficiency and you're willing to
[00:55:07] sacrifice flight performance if you want the best mix of all of those things it's 48k if you want better motor breaking but not necessarily better flight performance 24K there are situations where the
[00:55:26] additional motor breaking of 24K is really nice like if for whatever reason this is I if I thought enough about this I could probably come up come up with more reasons but as an example when you
[00:55:39] do a roll if you're doing a left roll these two Motors accelerate and these two Motors break down on 96k your rolls look like this because is these motors make a lot of power and these motors have not much
[00:56:01] braking on 48k your rolls look like this on 24K your rolls look like this it depends on how fast you do the roll the the faster you do the roll the more this it becomes because there's
[00:56:23] only so much breaking that the motors can only break a little bit but there's lots of thrust that these motors can make and so for example if if you've got like a gap into a dive right so like
[00:56:41] like these cubes right like these cubes that I have hanging from the ceiling there's there's basically a gate on the front and then there's a dive so I have to go through the front and then
[00:56:50] straight down if if I'm on 96 if I'm on 96k and the gate is here I have to shoot all the way over here because it's going to roll because there's [@$#%] motor breaking and
[00:57:06] that's really hard to do accurately it's much better to have 48 or even better would be 24 where I could shoot straight at the damn thing and then it would turn on its own axis and then I can drop down
[00:57:18] it so free style Pilots or cinematic Pilots that are doing things that require accuracy prefer 48 or not much 24 anymore pretty much everybody is on 48
[00:57:35] and so there you go that's the difference between 2448 and 96 this is a perfect example of why bench testing only tells a little part of the story and if you just do everything
[00:57:52] based upon bench testing and graphs and spread sheets you're not going to have a rig that flies as good as it should you're potentially not going to have a rig that flies as good as it should you're going
[00:58:05] to have a rig that has the most possible power and the most possible runtime and the best possible efficiency but that's like long range and that's it that that benefits long range
[00:58:20] and nothing else right like Freestyle cinematics racing h i mean racing okay so that that's going to benefit long range the most I guess racing the second most and then like everything
[00:58:37] else in FPV is you see what I'm saying so careful careful with basing your decisions off of raw data because there's much more that that than meets the eye than that it's
[00:58:56] there there then there then there then then there then there Co power says ABS can be nasty petg and TPU should be fine I'm pretty much only going to print TPU to be honest Jason
[00:59:15] Krab Jason Krab says see my question above would the Fiverr would the Fiverr design AB build be a good option for your help squeaking out a 75mm rig along with what would be a good battery setup for
[00:59:33] that and a mobul 6 so the gigs that I have on Fiverr they're just to get your mind going they're all 40 bucks for a half an hour 60 bucks for an hour you're just
[00:59:47] buying a chunk of time you could talk about the The Life and Times of James O'Neal for a half an hour for all I care it's your it's your time
[01:00:01] it's just the the flight instruction build planning tuning those are three of the things that have the most value and there are three things that I'm really really really good at
[01:00:18] there's lots of other things that I'm really good at and if you have a whole bunch of questions that you want answered from someone that has a lot of really good information rather than
[01:00:26] getting terrible information on Reddit and Facebook groups I'm your guy man and so I could absolutely help you out with that absolutely aliat says thank you so much and your channel is complete
[01:00:42] Insanity it's not usually this bad I swear usually it's much more dialed in but boy I am my eyes do not usually look like this they usually look more like human being eyes
[01:00:57] Nick Hayes is going on a rampage in the chat Jesus what there's an essay in here he hasn't tagged me at all though so I'm not going to read any of it I don't really read your guys comments
[01:01:08] unless you tag me in them because basically there's enough stuff in chat where the entire live stream would be would be just me reading the chat and that's not necessarily what I
[01:01:19] want to do in this live stream so plus I respect your guys' privacy you're allowed to hang out with with people and not want me to butt in maybe you're talking [@$#%] about me make
[01:01:29] sure you don't spell my name right or I'll see you talking [@$#%] about me you rats Moss one says sorry missed the chat topic but man I'm liking 802 over 702 for indoors interesting I've heard
[01:01:42] that from a couple people it's a more grunty motor and it's a heavier motor some people like heavier builds I think that's crazy but it really does depend like if if you're trying to do
[01:01:54] really tight technical stuff like what I do shedding weight is super super super super important if you're not trying to go upside down and backwards through a gate that's this
[01:02:05] big it's not as big of a deal and 802s have a certain feel to them and so there's no wrong answers this is why every single time somebody asks like oh what's the best this that
[01:02:18] or the other I say it's there is no such thing as best there's just different and everybody has to figure out what their perfect setup is I try my best to help with that but be super careful
[01:02:31] of reviewers and just people in general that say like oh so and so is the best that's somebody that typically doesn't know what they're talking about there are situations where there will be
[01:02:43] things that actually are the best usually when all of the like for a long time all of the tiny woop props were trash and then the GemFan came out with the 12 GemFan came out with the the
[01:02:55] 1210 byblade and it was the best full [@$#%] stop like the everything else was trash and that was a really good propeller and so every once in a while there will be a situation where
[01:03:09] it's this is the best but 99% of the time there is not that is not the situation so be wary of that Nick hay says I'm just excited to have some company brother just just
[01:03:22] talking to the chat cool that's all good goam dude it's doesn't doesn't hurt me any I just I just all of a sudden I scrolled down I was like
[01:03:33] whoa it's is all good my friend as look you could type as much as you want in the chat as long as you're not tagging me over and over and over and over again because that's going to like
[01:03:41] monopolize the whole thing you go ham glad to have you brother Porky chop FV says 802 or 1102 for 75mm rig I'm using ex 802 and I'm loving them but I could always use more power but
[01:03:54] not sure how much weight will affect this thanks so much Happy New Year I mean more power more weight versus a little bit less power less weight that that I can't make that decision for you
[01:04:09] um I at the moment I'm on the analog 75mm 2S rigs I'm a much bigger fan of the 802s because they have just tons of power I don't need more power than what the 80 2S will give me the 102 1102
[01:04:31] 75 mm 2S rigs for me are for if they're heavier or well if they're heavier like a digital like digital uh oh boy digital rigs the six extra grams of WalkSnail the five extra grams of old
[01:04:50] school hd0 right now you want to be 102 1102 and so here's what I will say I would if if on my 802 2S rig it's at a motor limit of 80 85% I would not change Motors until I
[01:05:11] was all the way up to 100% so if you're at 100% and it's still not enough power you could look for a higher KV motor like but if you're already at 18 or 19 or 20,000 KV and you're at
[01:05:31] 100% why the hell do you want so much power no you do you we are approaching the limits there's a point where continuing to go higher and higher and look 20,000 KV on 2S is 40,000 KV on 1S s that is a
[01:05:58] ton of RPM I would not go higher than that because you get to a point of diminishing returns where the motor just saturates with heat and then you lose efficiency and you have a motor that is
[01:06:14] very that's not why do I always forget the word for this I am 43 years old and my brain is turning to Mush I always forget this word I always want to say the word
[01:06:38] controllable it's not the word at all consistent consistent you lose consistency when a motor overheats it makes less power but then it cools down so you go Full Throttle the motor
[01:06:53] overheats you chop the throttle you go Full Throttle again that second time that you've gone Full Throttle you're not going to get full power and the amount of time in
[01:07:05] between those throttle bursts is going to be how it's going to cool down a certain amount right so you have a motor a Powertrain that's not consistent and that sucks that that you do not fly
[01:07:17] well when you have an inconsistent power Trin because basically like every time you go Full Throttle you don't know how much power you're actually G to get so you're coming down the bottom of a dive
[01:07:27] and you want to like play chicken with the ground and just pull out of the the dive like an inch off the concrete you better have a consistent motor if you come down there if if you've done
[01:07:38] that a thousand times and the exact right throttle blip but you've got this powertrain where the motor is a little bit too small of a heat sink and on the way down there was a little bit
[01:07:50] of wind and that made the pit Loop kick the motors back and forth up to 100% And you get to the bottom and your Motors are a little bit overheated and you do that throttle blip guess what you're
[01:08:01] smacking into the concrete right and so kind of thing becomes more important once you're a couple thousand hours into flying right which like some people never even get to that point
[01:08:17] which is fine but it's certainly not going to make you a better pilot having a motor having a power Trin that is inconsistent right and so I never recommend that that that is a
[01:08:33] you also lose efficiency when the motors get too hot the magnets get really hot and they literally become less magnetic for that period of time that they're too hot and so not only do
[01:08:44] you lose power but you lose efficiency and that's just eaten into your run time and harder on the batteries and blah blah BL so yeah there you go hopefully that helps quad 66 is in
[01:08:56] the house what's up homie if you guys are not subscribed to quad 66 get your asses over there he's got some excellent content great blackbox tuner great reviewer just an allaround nice guy
[01:09:06] go go check out his channel one of the very few micro oriented Channels with like really really really good quality content get get over there all right let's
[01:09:25] let's swap this build over to the white frame and the white Bing Bong so we can test the co1 camera and we'll knock out this camera testing does anybody care about the camera
[01:09:44] testing I'm so tired I put it in the thumbnail I guess we have to do it MC Shakey FPV says you could watch dirty rotten SC it's a great movie I haven't seen that in a long time and then why
[01:10:00] I'm comparing you to R wck how it's pronounced ah okay I have not watched that movie since like in my 20s which are quite a ways away no we'll do it we'll do the we'll do the hard things we
[01:10:17] can do hard things who's who's struggling who's struggling right now in FPV and life anybody it's hard man this is a hard time of year it's not just you it's okay I promise it's going to be all right
[01:10:37] we're going to figure this [@$#%] out together my friends Cole power says I didn't care right now but I do think it will be excellent knowledge for future Generations cool
[01:10:48] seriously though if you're struggling I I promise you it's not just you I also promise you that we're going to figure this out we are GNA figure this [@$#%] out it's going to be all right my
[01:11:08] friends over on Facebook I've got a I've got a group that's linked on cpb.com called FPV therapy I also have a text channel on my Discord FPV therapy this is not a spot to brag
[01:11:28] about how you went and flew and it and it was your therapy this is a spot to like actually talk about real struggles I've suffered with crippling anxiety and depression for
[01:11:45] pretty much my whole life and so I have a bit of a unique window into it but it's not a contest and it's a real thing I unfortunately lost a friend of mine and my
[01:12:06] my coup's dance instructor Wilder a few weeks ago he took his own life and it was it was two weeks after the election and it was just all too much for him and unfortunately I've been
[01:12:26] there and I know how miserable that misery is I was lucky enough to make it out but a lot of people don't and the the suicide rates in men are horrifying and so look it's not just
[01:12:49] you mental illness depression anxiety they do a really good job of convincing you that you're all alone and that it's just you and nobody could possibly understand you and
[01:13:02] that's [@$#%] but it's hard and so there's a whole bunch of us that are here and we will continue to be here the hardest thing is is reaching out so look if you've got people in
[01:13:20] your life that struggle or you think they might struggle or look just [@$#%] reach out to people just just we live in this weird world of like reply everything is a reply right like
[01:13:33] we don't we don't take the initiative to reach out to people nearly enough myself included I'm just as guilty of this probably more guilty because doing what I do for a living a lot of
[01:13:47] you guys will reach out to me and with questions with comments with whatever and so a lot of my life is spent just replying and you get you get that becomes habitual right that's human
[01:14:03] nature and so reach out to your friends I I will forever regret that I didn't reach out to Wilder Moore and that and that that I didn't go to his
[01:14:21] last two dance classes and that sucks and if I if I had reached reached out to him more and if I had to gone if I had gone to that class it's probably wouldn't
[01:14:36] have been any different but I would like to have seen him twice more I would like to have talked to him a little bit more and it's over now there's there's no going back
[01:14:56] and so do it reach out to some people especially especially especially if if that someone in your life struggles with mental illness stuff seriously check in with them put put
[01:15:16] a put something on your phone that pops up like once a week once every other week just says call Jim or text Jim or something it'll take no time at all really right because
[01:15:35] like a lot of times you'll reach out to them and you won't and you won't hear back but it makes a huge difference that that you've reached out to them here's another like like look here's something
[01:15:46] even better though if if you have someone in your life friend family whatever enemy whatever that has straight up depression this is something pretty specific about
[01:15:58] depression when you have depression you realize that when you're in a depressive episode or eventually you just think this about yourself top to
[01:16:14] bottom nobody wants to be around you they they especially don't want to be around you when you're when you're in a bad place right and so when you're in a bad place when you need someone to reach out to
[01:16:28] you the most if somebody reaches out and says like how's it going you're just GNA say like oh I'm fine so big big big big big red flag is the word fine all right if if if somebody
[01:16:44] with depression says that they're fine they're probably not they they might be but they're probably not for the record I never was and so there's a red flag for you but even better than like having
[01:16:57] to read the red flags is do not give them an do not reach out to them and say like man you want to hang out no you're going to reach out to them and sayman we're hanging
[01:17:14] out we are doing something you're you're coming into a Discord chat room with me you're you're jumping on to Day Z with me whatever something we're we're going and getting a cup of coffee we're
[01:17:28] we're going and getting a bite to eat just I'm telling you I'm telling you just don't give them an option just likewe're doing this if you give them an option they're going to come up with an
[01:17:39] excuse as someone who's had depression for 40 plus years I have so many excuses ready to [@$#%] go in the holster ready to just whip out without even thinking about it and what really
[01:17:55] sucks is like you get so used to doing that that you do it without even thinking about it again it becomes habitual someone asks you to do something and you just immediately
[01:18:05] basically say no and when when you start to get a handle on it like you you start to realize that you're doing it and it and it's it's insane like when you when you really start to
[01:18:20] see that you're like wow that is that is scary I don't even think about it and I just do it and after you've said no there's kind of no going back I mean there obviously is but in your mind
[01:18:32] there's not it's like well I just said no so I can't like I'll look like an idiot if I say no and then like oh what but here's what's super funny right if you do that likebro let's go hang
[01:18:42] out n man I I got I got something going on oh that sucks if you realize it you can absolutely go I don't know why I just said that that was weird I would love to hang out and what your
[01:18:54] friend's going to say oh dude amazing I wanted to hang out with you because they just asked you to hang out they wouldn't have asked you to hang out if they didn't want to I know I'm telling you to
[01:19:05] just do it and so maybe you don't totally want to but like you want to because they're your friends right it's an un it is just the most evil spiral of utter
[01:19:20] Insanity and so one of the amazing ways around it that's so simple so so so simple is to just saywe are hanging out I know I know that sounds like [@$#%] but do it to someone with
[01:19:39] depression and then ask him about it later and they'll be like that's not [@$#%] at all I was feeling like [@$#%] I really didn't want to go out but you said that we were going out and so I just said
[01:19:52] okay right like they're in a bad place they're they're kind of like beaten down already and you're just likewe're going out and they're just like okay and that that that's exactly what they need
[01:20:03] I mean that's not the end of it you can't do that one time and then they won't have depression anymore but still like yeah depression is is a the the term mental illness gets thrown around a
[01:20:21] lot but it's really important that like the second word there is is really important which is illness like it is an illness like other illnesses it unfortunately does not go away you can
[01:20:33] do things to put it into remission but you're kind of stuck with it for the most part there's some really interesting stuff with psychedelics and ketamine and and
[01:20:46] things but of the folks that I've talked to that have been through that stuff it's provided some relief but it's not it there's not a [@$#%] pill I mean there are pills that
[01:20:57] you can take but they have some pretty nasty side effects there's not a pill with no side effects that you can take that just makes depression go away you're in it probably forever again
[01:21:14] there's lots of stuff that you can do to manage it I am living proof of that literally living proof of that and but it's hard man it's [@$#%] exhausting it is exhausting and and
[01:21:31] there are not many people that are willing to continue to show up for you because it's hard it's very hard people in your life like end up taking on this caretaker
[01:21:48] role and being a caretaker is very difficult and so I'm serious if if there's somebody in your life that you really love and you want to show up for them put a
[01:22:08] reminder in your phone and when you reach out to them be intentional about it it's if if you don't have that in you if you don't have the time sending a text that's likeman how
[01:22:19] you holding up that's great that's way better than nothing way better than nothing that's for sure sure so that's totally fine but if you have a little bit more in you plan something
[01:22:32] out and just be likewe're hanging out when is it is it right now we going out right now are we are we jumping on such and such game right now suicidal
[01:22:45] ideations that's a fancy way of saying when someone is in the mindset of actually taking their own life they typically only last for 5 to 10 minutes and so if you send that text
[01:23:04] when they're in that place and you stall them from doing it for five minutes or 10 minutes you could literally be the reason that they stay on this Earth and that there like what what
[01:23:23] better gift is there for yourself too right even if you're a selfish bastard you don't want to deal with the grief of that person leaving this earth right and so
[01:23:36] [@$#%] be selfish bro Whatever Whatever It Takes it's looking like things are going to get pretty nasty this year and so let's let's be in this together what do you say
[01:23:57] We Are Men we must be men and being a man and this is a big part of being a man in 2024 masculinity is is finally maturing a little bit away from just alpha male go to gym treat women poorly be horrible
[01:24:19] and smash things right like masculinity is drastically changing thank God and this is going to be a big part of it and so you want to be a proper big strong man well guess what you got to
[01:24:35] handle your emotions and you got to work with other guys to manage their emotions and this is something that we can do together a lot better than we can do alone so let's do it what do you say how
[01:24:47] about we go into 2025 with that energy that's what I'm going for this is a newbie drone cockroach light AF frame it is my favorite ultra light frame I think I I I think I like the V3
[01:25:05] the Cockroach V3 frame better it's not that much heavier and it's a little bit stiffer which allows me to get a little bit of a better pit tune on it not the biggest deal in the world you
[01:25:21] could make a really strong argument for either one I I have Builds on both basically what I do is if I have a build with really powerful Motors like the 40,000 KV 72s or the 36,000 KV 72s or
[01:25:35] the RC and power motors I'll put those onto the 03 V3 frame and then if I have a build on like 30s or 32s the lower power motors I'll put it under the light AF frame I bought a bunch of
[01:25:50] the light AF frames not too long ago and so I've been using them on a bunch of builds here so that's kind of out the window I mean this build for example I think is 40 thou this build's on
[01:25:59] 40,000 KV Motors and I'm putting it on the light AF frame so it's not like a hard and fast rule but like if you're really struggling between those two frames that's a way that you can
[01:26:10] make your mind up it's one of those it doesn't really matter if you're using one of those two frames you're you're using arguably the best frame that's out there
[01:26:25] and so don't overthink it build it fly it break it repeat I'm going to get caught up on chat in a second here but let me just keep my head down and knock this out for a minute to get a chunk of this
[01:26:40] work done and then we can fire these cameras up and we are going to fly a couple of batteries as well I think I put # six batteries in the in the Stream title if you're somewhat new
[01:26:54] new here # six batteries is fly six batteries a day every single day if you do that you will become a much better pilot and you will have a lot of fun go figure six
[01:27:11] batteries a day is a really nice round number that anybody can do absolutely anybody can do that with a tiny whoop inside the house that'll take you like 20 minutes 25 minutes that is a totally
[01:27:29] realistic amount of time to dedicate to FPV every day if you do nothing else it's a great thing to do every single day and if you do it every single day I promise you you will be an like a way
[01:27:43] better pilot a couple of weeks from now the consistency of flying 15 to 30 minutes a day is unbelievable flying after PV is super hard with super hard things consistency and repetition are
[01:28:00] massively important I've instructed a lot of stuff over the years and if there's one like when I have a student that goes home and practices I can tell within like the
[01:28:17] first 30 seconds the next time that I see them or or work with them it is absolutely staggeringly obvious and that's it like period the end you want to get better at
[01:28:32] something do it over and over and over again it's is like yes being intentional about it helps not just ripping balls every single time you fly and sometimes being like all right for
[01:28:45] this whole battery I'm just going to do power Loops that is super helpful but if you just rip balls and just have fun but you do it consistently you're going to get really good and getting good at at FPV
[01:29:02] is a special kind of magic because when you get properly good at it you no longer have to think about what you're doing you enter the Flow State and you are flying for three or two or 4 minutes
[01:29:19] at a time and there is nothing more magical than that but it takes time and it takes it mainly takes time it takes a little bit of effort but it mainly just takes time and so # six batteries is fly
[01:29:33] six batteries a day if it's raining out if it's cold out if it's too hot out fly six tiny batteries a day it will make you an outrageously better pilot I promise you you will be blown away at
[01:29:50] how much better you get at flying FPV regardless if that's C whooping or 5 in or long range or whatever putting 20 to 30 minutes of stick time in every single day will completely change the game for
[01:30:05] how good of a pilot you are and I am a massive example of that when I fly cops or 5 in rigs I am a beast now and it's come from Tiny whooping yes 6 years ago 7 years
[01:30:22] ago 5 years ago four years ago I flew tons of 5 in and tons of 3 in and tons of that stuff and I got really good but over the past like two years where I've been super lazy and I've basically just
[01:30:34] been flying tiny whoop stuff I have gotten I've gotten well so so here's the other thing what I was about to say is I've gotten better in this time than than I have
[01:30:50] before but that's not true but it's not true because the the longer you do this the smaller the gains are it's and it's with everything right the
[01:31:05] better you get like when you're new at something if you spend a few hours you get a lot better right and so it's go it goes like this but then over time right it's like one of the analogies we
[01:31:20] used to use in the sales world was like lwh hanging fruit when you're knew at something you're grabbing all that low hanging fruit's super easy to get it's right there you don't have to like
[01:31:29] get up on a ladder you just grab it and miraculously you're a lot better after a couple of years that tree is bare down low and you got to get that ladder out and you got to climb up
[01:31:44] higher and it becomes a lot harder to get better that happened to me after four or so years of FPV I really noticed it was getting a lot harder to improve and it was really
[01:32:03] frustrating especially because when you fly outside you break a lot of stuff and in order to like one of the ways to get better fast is to break a lot of stuff because when you break a
[01:32:17] lot of stuff you're pushing yourself to the Limit and beyond the limit a lot of times and so you it's rough it's really really rough you're you're spending a lot of money on
[01:32:31] repairs you're spending a lot of time on repairs and you've already been doing that for a number of years and it gets frustrating as [@$#%] and Tiny whooping has been a
[01:32:48] incredible refreshing like magical thing for me because they're so durable you don't have to drive a half an hour to the spot it doesn't matter if it's raining or too hot or too cold or if you
[01:33:01] had a bad day or whatever you just whip it out and Wang it around the room and so man fly something fly the simulator for 20 minutes anything stick time for 15 to 30 minutes 20 to 30 minutes a day
[01:33:24] it'll get you it'll accelerate your path to being a good enough pilot that you don't have to think about what you're doing anymore and you can just enjoy the [@$#%] Majesty of
[01:33:37] flight and it really is incredible and as you get better and better and better and better it's just as incredible it's almost more incredible like like when you get like
[01:33:50] really really good you would think like I don't know some stuff in the world like it doesn't I don't know it Plateau is a lot easier the the the skill ceiling is so high with FPV
[01:34:03] there's so much that you can do there's so many crazy tricks there's so many gaps that are just small or in like an awkward position that like man it's the possibilities are just
[01:34:18] endless and it's very unique in that way and it's my pleasure to share that with you fellow crazy people and just we've got a red and white build this is a pretty extreme red and
[01:34:40] white build too I'm going to end up pulling this camera out but for right now I just wanted to have a build with this camera plugged in for the camera testing but we will I mean I might as
[01:34:54] well fly the six batteries for this live stream on this build I might I don't always fly six batteries but I've been doing this a long time you should fly six sixes is the right number after
[01:35:06] we do this camera testing not on this live stream I am going to replace this camera with the CO3 because as you're about to see in this camera testing the CO3 is a great camera
[01:35:20] arguably the best so here we go camera testing shall now again here's the setup wow Logitech you are just killing it man look at how great you can focus on things boy what a
[01:35:41] terrific webcam everybody should run right out and buy a Logitech webcam they work super well here's the setup I'm putting this little guy right here and then it's going to look up at
[01:35:54] the toolbox the toolbox has a whole bunch of very detailed stickers on it and then you're also going to be able to compare the field of view all of these cameras are roughly pointed up at
[01:36:07] the same angle not exactly but pretty close close enough that what you want to look for for the field of view is the very left side of the screen right it's going to catch like some of the mic here
[01:36:20] it's going to catch some of the monitor actually these cameras are pretty wide angle so the left field of view is going to be over here it's going to catch most of my monitor here let me
[01:36:31] let's do this so there's more stuff on the monitor to kind of reference off of and so the left side field of view you're going to be looking like over here to see much how much of the
[01:36:42] monitor sometimes it'll even pick up the second monitor a little bit right so that's what you're going to pay attention to on the left side of the screen on the right side of the screen
[01:36:50] you're going to notice the red and purple light and you're going to notice the door over here and they're going to like pick up some of the door so that's how you're going to compare the field of
[01:36:59] view the the up and down field of view it's super easy it's going to be like the desk surface and then like the top of the toolbox they're going to be a little bit wider and so you're going to
[01:37:10] start to get these studio lights up here so there's plenty to reference off of with these cameras in terms of field of view field of view is very important there
[01:37:23] there will be like an amount of field of view that you like and that you fly best with and that's okay don't run what somebody else thinks is the right field to view that doesn't make any sense
[01:37:38] you want to run whatever works best for you I forgot to charge batteries you donkey cranking the vifly up to 0.9 and throwing a few batteries on the charger one of these oh these are
[01:37:58] at 3.9 they'll get enough charge in them I got to grab a an AO to oh I'm so tired I got to grab an AO to plug these cameras into so give me one second while these batteries are
[01:38:16] charging I'll get caught up on chat how about that I've got an AO right here boy perfect this is an X12 from HappyModel great AIO this is me unplugging the antenna and then replugging the
[01:38:51] antenna because you never want to run a VTX without an antenna on it's will explode never forget that oh shnikies I'm gonna put this I'm gonna I don't want you guys looking at
[01:39:20] me I don't want you guys looking at me I'm hideous where we at here Porky chop says 80 no we talked about that Co power says struggle is real I'm planning to leave don't you dare aliat
[01:39:51] says struggling with the anxiety of flying it's you'll get through it you got to fly a lot teleport at says I was in a tough spot a year ago picked up flying again and making healthy mental and physical
[01:40:03] choices has aimed things in a better Direction getting outside was a major help there's there's so much that you can do but they're a lot of them are very difficult to do going
[01:40:14] outside is a is a game changer for sure taking like a half an hour walk a day will change your life I know that sounds like total [@$#%] but there's there's a bunch of people in chat that have done
[01:40:25] that and live that and they'll back me up on it Moss one says also that lonely feeling passes in just a moment keep busy and sometimes we want to stay there but we get up and move and get our
[01:40:35] mind off [@$#%] it's true aliat says love the trademark quote sticker oh Timmons made that for me that's in reference to so the the the quote is this was a
[01:40:48] working rig FPV rigs have this thing where where they work and then you go to sleep and then you wake up and they don't work anymore and it's happened to me a whole bunch of times from one live stream to
[01:41:07] the next and i' I'd said that quote enough times where yeah Tim's made that cool little thing for me Cole power says I know exactly what you mean an acquaintance I knew via worksh shot
[01:41:17] himself like three weeks ago saw him twice a week often chatted had no idea okay so super quick that's another thing that folks with depression are really good at which is hiding it
[01:41:29] again because they know that nobody really wants to hang out with someone that's super sad they get really good at hiding that sadness and so I'm someone who again has lived with
[01:41:41] depression for 40 plus years I had no idea that Wilder had depression and At first I was like oh I'm going to regret that that I regret that and then I very quickly went no no no no no nope
[01:41:57] no no no no no no no because I am an example of that and so I I do not regret that at all he just like I was incredibly good at hiding it and that's not on me it's not my job to to
[01:42:14] decrypt the [@$#%] Matrix that is everyone's ability to hide their depression and so but just know that there are I think it's like one in 10 but I think it's actually
[01:42:28] more than that if more than 10 people someone with clinical depression and they're just hiding it really well it is staggering how many people that that have
[01:42:41] depression that you don't know that they have depression it is ridiculous so Cole power says depression will probably be less of a thing if we didn't live in a meat grinder
[01:42:55] that's for sure but it is one of the the Hallmarks of clinical depression is a uh is a chemical imbalance in your brain and that it doesn't matter if look at all
[01:43:14] the celebrities Robin Williams right people with unlimited money Fame they've got it all and right Michael Phelps when he won like the third or fourth time or whatever he woke up the
[01:43:30] next morning was Full Tilt suicidal right it's crazy aliat says depression is a challenging battle is a challenging battle it can overwhelm you in an instant or slowly slowly pull you
[01:43:47] under if you're not mindful yep fil I think that is says I can relate to excuses I deal with depression for 20 plus years I wonder why no one wants to hang out with me they realize they've
[01:43:59] asked me repeatedly to hang out and I turned them down that that's yep that's another beautiful example of it right like and we've all done that we've all had a friend here's another big red
[01:44:09] flag we've all had a friend that we've asked to hang out a bunch of times and they say no well after the sixth or seventh time that they say no guess what I'm not going to ask them to hang out
[01:44:19] anymore either they don't they really don't want to hang out with me because I'm not cool enough or whatever or they've got something going on and it's like I I can't find out they won't talk
[01:44:29] to me to tell me that and so yeah one of the best ways that I've found is what I mentioned before you just you don't ask them to hang out you tell them that that you're hanging out go to them
[01:44:44] drive to them right pick a spot that's near them don't expect them to drive 45 minutes to you don't like man you're driving all the way up here that might work if you've got like a cool place you
[01:44:54] know with a Sim rig with psvr2 that that might work but put in the work I promise you putting in the work is a lot a lot less heartbreaking than than losing someone I I've not I haven't lost
[01:45:18] someone I haven't had someone in my life die in in a very long time and I I I just I totally forgot how how deep that misery is another human being going away forever and so
[01:45:42] check in with your friends and if you find out that you have a friend that that struggles with any mental illness put something on your phone that every couple of weeks
[01:45:56] you reach out to them and reach out to them intentionally cool bmud Skipper says hello I know you don't fly DJI 03 but I'm curious if you plan to grab the new 04 light and put it on a 75mm
[01:46:08] rope absolutely one of the main reasons why I don't fly 03 is that it the the low light performance was basically like as an FPV camera system having incredible low I'm very
[01:46:29] spoiled by incredible low light performance my analog rigs my big analog rigs run these foxier toothless Nano Starlight cameras that totally spoiled me like I can I can go into the darkest
[01:46:44] building and still see where I'm going I can fly like deep Beyond golden hour into blue hour into damn near pitch black the old school Vista system really really really good in light in
[01:46:57] low light the 03 system not not very good in low light and so I like held the line I I've I've wanted desperately to go in on the 03 system because the quality is fantastic the range is
[01:47:14] fantastic but I've been just holding the line and the 04 system has drastically improved that and so I am like all [@$#%] in on the on the 04 system so when the when the 04 light
[01:47:34] comes out it's onit is on that I am going to have a 2S 75mm rig that I can use for cinematic stuff like I will be able to use that at live flying gigs at at live broadcast gigs
[01:47:54] I'll be able to in theory it'll be 4K like the the Ava 2 video quality is better just barely but it is better than this GoPro Hero 12 which is absolutely insane but it's is it because it's
[01:48:12] better at it's has slightly better low light performance and the the normal performance is totally like acceptable um in comparison to this nerk has a great video looking at the avat 2's
[01:48:29] video performance versus a hero 12 and in the end he's like the avat 2 is better and the avat 2 is just the 04 system also there's a couple actual YouTubers who really
[01:48:46] know what good cameras and good footage looks have tested the new DJI action five against the hero 13 and the hero 12 and at the end of it they go yep the
[01:49:00] action 5 is better it's got significantly better low light performance and with a little bit of color grading the the footage looks just as good in regular light and so the
[01:49:13] 04 system I am extremely excited about one of the one of the other thing one of the things I'm most excited about is that I can take these cops and drop 130 grams from them and that's going to
[01:49:30] make them fly better for longer safer right so the the 04 system is I am wildly excited about it unfortunately a lot the the camera is going to be so big that the our existing frames are not
[01:49:51] going to work we're going to have to have a whole new crop of frames or extensions on the front of these frames for this giant camera but who cares not having to drag around a big fat hero 12
[01:50:02] that's amazing having in your goggles something that flashes in red when you're recording and doesn't Flash in red when you're not recording come on now that's amazing
[01:50:16] having the footage that you're recording being recorded on the goggles that are attached to your head not in not hurdling towards a 16 story building that's dumping down into the
[01:50:29] ground that's right there are so many advantages of the 04 system dog just freaked out upstairs dog peed on the wall today that was frustrating what are we doing here camera testing
[01:50:51] camera testing then I'm going to sleep I do it through the through the vrx here that's connected to OBS so that you can see exactly what it looks like through the video transmitter that's
[01:51:05] my excuse anyway it does kind of matter all right are we ready we doing this thing I'm caught up on chat I've got a battery that's pretty much ready to go Curtis hay says
[01:51:25] I have an A 2 and night performance isn't as good as the Vista or HD zero Lux it's not it's not but what I actually I I almost prefer that the Avada 2 low light performance is okay so a quick
[01:51:47] story when I when I got flown down to Los Cabos to fly a engagementwedding SL whatever it was an interesting story I flew fireworks and then the couple was sitting on the beach
[01:52:04] watching the fireworks the the company doing the fireworks took too long I was all ready to go I had the exposure nailed on this and then there was like a 10minute delay in that 10-minute delay the the
[01:52:22] light level dropped enough that the GoPro was no longer properly exposed in the goggles I couldn't tell because I was on an old school DJI system and it looked great in the
[01:52:37] goggles and when we reviewed the footage it was the fireworks looked great but the couple was just gone not really my fault I I had this thing opened up as much as I possibly
[01:52:51] could and I was ready to fly and we were waiting for the we were waiting for the fireworks guys so there wasn't necessarily anything I could have done but that's a perfect scenario like
[01:53:03] it's you can argue it either way you can argue it's safer to have your FPV camera system have staggeringly good low light performance but then it opens the
[01:53:17] door to some sort of issues so I will still carry this with me and will still carry GoPro mounts if there's a scenario that right this makes more sense because you can set the O you'll be able
[01:53:33] to set the 04 system to I'm not going to dive deep into that but yeah the the the 04 system is good enough the 03 system was is is not good enough in my opinion as an
[01:53:50] FPV camera in terms of low light performance the 04 system is just barely good enough and it's really nice that what you see is what you're going to get and so I won't tear apart I
[01:54:06] don't know what I'll do I don't know if I'll keep so I have two two completely separate gear setups that I bring with me digital over here cop 5 in analog over here cop 5 in and so one of
[01:54:22] them will get when when I go all in on 04 one of these will get torn down I don't know which one it'll be but I will have a system that I can bring with me that has phenomenal low light
[01:54:34] performance if the situation arises where that's what I need and then you strap a GoPro on top and Away you go right all you need is this silly little thing an extra battery and a and a TPU
[01:54:47] Mount right super easy to carry in your go bag but I'll tell you what that's pretty rare I've done a lot of gigs over the last four years and there are not many situations I can probably
[01:55:04] only count on one hand how many situations there are where that would have made a difference so okay here we go let me tape this thing down I'm going to tape the
[01:55:23] the camera mount thing down so that we get roughly the same field to view every time but again the the field of view you're looking Left Right top and bottom and so if there's more door on the
[01:55:39] right but there's less monitor on the left you'll you should know you should know what's up you're smart you you're all smart all right let me just get this
[01:55:57] VHB going here all right and so I'm just going to Rapid Fire these can somebody Vol I'll take the screenshots be fine it's G to make one of you do it but I'll do
[01:56:15] it cuz the screenshots will be better I don't want the the Youtube compression on the on the screenshot shots I can do it my hair is getting big I need to [@$#%] haircut himo crashed and now the
[01:56:33] receiver on beta FP Matrix doesn't work I keep fail saving doesn't connect after a minute try swapping out the antenna but it sounds like it blew up sucks but try swapping out the antenna
[01:56:47] for sure all right I'm making the OBS window really big so I could take these screenshots all right OBS window is gigantic and okay here we go so first up is going to be the
[01:57:11] co1 old school BetaFPV camera co1 you didn't even know that existed and I'm just going to it's going to be a slight different field of view I'm just going to like hold it on top of the
[01:57:25] mount here I'm just going to hold it like this but it looks like [@$#%] anyway so it's fine you'll see what I mean BetaFPV co1 camera okay a this going be hard to take a
[01:57:49] screenshot of though no it's not it's just balance there perfectly oh it looks so bad oh boy oh you don't want the co1 the co one's not the camera for you but I have it in this Mount and
[01:58:03] so we'll just do it get in there stay there can't you just cooperate oh there we go there we go okay co1 screenshotting and Fantastic look how bad that looks all right next up
[01:58:43] is something else hold on I got to name the file C o1 all right now we're going to the X12 and this is the bi first the Newbie drone bi here it
[01:59:12] comes get in there my God these jst plugs are so fiddly oh they're so fiddly it helps if you plug it in in the right direction can confirm there we go newb drone bi oh
[01:59:36] nope don't want that in there newb drone bi here we go we're going to Rapid Fire these where's the cursor there it is bi coming up all right that's the bi here comes
[01:59:57] the cadx ant prepare to be disappointed the ant is like one of my least favorite cameras I'm always blown away all right naming that previous file here's the cadx ant taking a screenshot
[02:00:24] good to go all right next up is the what is that oh it's CO3 CO3 the the previous sort of champion all right there's the CO3 give a second here name the previous
[02:00:53] file screenshot there we go got it there's the CO3 and let me just take a quick break that was the first four let me just give this flight controller a second to cool off
[02:01:13] here all right so that was the CO3 I'm going to plug the next one in and just let this thing hang massive shout out to Kevin suner for Designing this Mount buying a bunch of
[02:01:28] these cameras and then most importantly switching the the connectors over on a bunch of these cameras he's the real hero here okay so that last one was CO3 we're going to
[02:01:49] review all of these screenshots afterwards so hok says the antenna is the soldered Wire I know put it like swap it out you're [@$#%] himo like I'm trying to give you a little bit of Hope
[02:02:07] but you're it's broken but you might as well swap the antenna out it's could be that it's not but it could be next up is what is this what is this
[02:02:25] camera oh this is the fxt camera the fxt camera that comes in the that comes in the oh fart in the mob 6 2024 balls hold on restick it all
[02:03:02] right Ah hell I might need to redo this testing I I got to check the the lenses on these things hold on hold on I got to make sure the lenses are clean I screwed this up last
[02:03:17] time but I did clean these lenses on these things so should be okay let me just let me check hold up hold up that one's good that one's good no no no we're okay we're okay
[02:03:32] the f I I just noticed because I put my thumb on the fxt lens nice and clean nice and clean no I cleaned them from last time all right beautiful woo thank
[02:03:57] god oh I I wish I hadn't just moved the moved this overhead light that was kind of dumb of me but ah hold on I'll get it into the I'll get it this is actually important let
[02:04:14] me okay so the overhead light was out of the shot so it was roughly here all right what's that the CO3 I'm going to replug the CO3 in and I'm going to make sure that the the overhead light is
[02:04:30] in the correct position cuz that does matter because we're going to be looking at like the lighting and the where like the little arm is so let me just real quick
[02:04:48] reset our little test setup all right so that's coming up so I'm just comparing on my screen oh I'm good it's I pretty much always put this this lamp in like the same spot that's
[02:05:07] hysterical it's in the it's in the same spot we're good okay so we already did the CO3 now we're going to go to the fxt now that it's rotated in the correct direction that
[02:05:28] is okay get in there all right fxt one of my favorites shift open Apple four screenshot all right got it that's the fxt fxt okay great and up next is the Run cam Nano
[02:06:02] 3 my personal kind of favorite mainly because it's Ultra lightweight but also I find that it's got better detail because which is kind of because it's zoomed in a little bit but
[02:06:19] still screenshotting got it next up is the foxier razor AIO is getting hot hurry hurry hurry here we go you can do this AIO don't blow up don't blow up don't blow up don't blow
[02:06:49] up okay got it here screenshotted and then the last one is the tiny whoop pinch the regular pinch which I believe is an fxt board with a specific slight wider angle lens oh my God it's upside
[02:07:23] down how is it upside down was it not on there from the last test oh balls so what do I need the things to exit out the top okay things need to exit out the
[02:07:40] top don't melt X12 I'm so sorry make sure I didn't get a fingerprint on it nope it's good and there we go and screenshotting okay beautiful there it is all right let's take a look at those
[02:08:11] screenshots talk about it and then we'll fly a battery I wrap this on up oh my God it's 1212 make a wish what a weird person you guys have chosen a strange person to hang out with night
[02:08:38] after night I like him though big teeth kind of gangly it's a quote from Liar Liar what was that last one uh pinch pinch I want to fly hold on let's fly real quick let's fly while I have
[02:09:00] the vrx on let's let's fly I I really want to fly this rig that I just built with this crappy co1 camera on it getting out my old fat shark HD3 is get this Crossfire nonsense out of
[02:09:31] here put in my fancy new Nomad look at that what about that bordo I wish I had a little screen on it there we go turn this on all
[02:09:49] right uh let's got this antenna in here the build that I'm about to be flying is newbie drone light AF frame wee bed 0702 40,000 KV Motors HQ 1.2 by 1.2x two ultral light by blades
[02:10:13] brand new BetaFPV Matrix AIO BetaFPV banana hammock canopy co1 camera which by the next stream hopefully will be a CO3 camera and ultra light little antenna
[02:10:41] whip antenna with the ground plane removed this was a working build let's see if it's still working this is the battery that's somewhat discharged to be fair from all that
[02:10:56] testing just now we've got video it's going to fly I can feel it nope yep we good oh wow this battery got eaten all right co1 camera is not that bad fully charged battery this time what
[02:11:30] do you say man that I did not I didn't think I had that battery plugged in that long [@$#%] that got annihilated during that testing hold on these battery cables are being
[02:11:47] unruly all right charged battery this time what do you think at that I don't have any of the gates in the right spots but whatever we'll just fly what's all this
[02:11:59] flashing oh boy we got some we got an angry pit Loop situation let's take a look at oh man okay pit tun's not all that aggressive oh God oh
[02:12:24] God oh God all right hold on let's just let this thing cool down for a second and I'm going to try to figure out what's going on with the soon not totally sure why it's being so
[02:12:58] weird but now that the battery has has chilled out a little bit's now that the battery voltage is come down it's all right my right the right screen and my right eye
[02:13:17] is all fogged up hold on let me turn the fan on and I had to turn the fan on in these fat shark goggles in Forever is this camera sitting level hold on let me
[02:13:34] see nope see how not level that beam is and yet I'm hovering perfectly in place I knew this I I can man I'm really good at being able to tell when cameras are not perfectly flat it's
[02:13:57] one of the things I don't like about these banana hammock canopies is that there's well I shouldn't say what I was about to say is there's no way to positively like locate the camera to make sure it's
[02:14:10] rotated properly but in the in the HappyModel one there actually is but only when you use the cameras with the screw holes in the corners so I don't know it's
[02:14:21] I don't like this style of I really I don't like this style of canopy I get that it's super lightweight and that's great and all but like the camera needs to be flat the camera needs to be
[02:14:37] rotated so that the Horizon is completely flat that's really important um and this does not do that oh also the camera is kind of coming out of the canopy a little
[02:14:53] bit what is going on here hold on let me let me try to work this out real quick I'm easily able to rotate the camera which is a very bad thing but it'll actually allow me to get the
[02:15:10] camera flattened out real quick here so if we look at that we put this build flat on the desk use the bottom of the monitor as a gauge that looks pretty good that should be a
[02:15:33] lot better and now I'm going to crank this screw a little bit more in the front of this canopy to hold this camera in a lot better problem is when you when you tighten this screw up in the front it
[02:15:51] twists the camera that still looks pretty good hopefully it's okay let's check it up here much better see how much more level the beam is now oh God so these motor these 40,000
[02:16:23] KV Motors any really powerful tiny whoop motors for that matter oh my God I just wanted to give you an example of how powerful they were any really powerful tiny whoop Motors will not
[02:16:39] require a super aggressive tune and this is a perfect example of that right no prop wash no prop wash even though the tune is damn near stock right the p&i gain slider is lower than stock oh
[02:16:57] boy one of the things that I always need to get I always need to adjust to with these banana hammock canopies is extra uptilt I'm very used to the old school mobula 6 canopies which will
[02:17:16] let you run really low up tilt the easy way to tell is to look at the bottom of the frame and if there are no ducts in view that's a lot of uptilt I usually fly with a bunch
[02:17:32] of come out of there please a bunch of duct in view In fairness the the BetaFPV canopies do lift the camera up which gets some of the duct out of
[02:17:45] view but still this is much more uptilt than than I would like but I have this canopy on its lowest uptilt setting so it just kind of is what it
[02:18:04] is if I fly a bunch of batteries in a row I will get used to it but oh my God easy easy so that the the extra up tilt is making me fly really fast that's what like more up tilt tends to do
[02:18:27] especially when you're used to low up tilt and my timing is a mess right now because I'm just flying so fast around here those are my those are my excuses as to why I'm flying like a
[02:18:47] buffoon the run time is really low which it probably has partly to do with the tune being a little bit aggressive I'll take a minute to after the stream to kind of look at this thing and see what
[02:19:03] the hell's going on there could be a bent prop could be a bent motor shaft could be something weird going on but it's should it should be getting at least 230 ideally I like it I can usually get
[02:19:17] these clean builds up to like 3 minutes of runtime but it's depends with with this extra up tilt and me charging across the room that really eats the battery up so that that's not
[02:19:30] helping the situation any last battery for the night we'll fly more on Friday I'll be recovered on Friday here we go who's that Maggie what's she doing up so late oh my
[02:20:01] god oh boy this uptilt though oh there's a little bit of wobbled there oh I missed it oh that was a hard hit oh boy that was a hard hit this camera sucks does it not
[02:20:23] oh God that got something weird happened there that got really weird oh it's there's a there's something going on battery might have popped out the bottom something ain't right
[02:20:41] though did the camera rotate n camera's okay something ain't right though let's see let's see looks okay I break the frame no frame's fine weird it's acting it was acting really
[02:21:05] oh I did break the frame I'll be damned yep that'll do it all right well I'll fly the rest of the battery just to have it get down damn this Frame did not last long
[02:21:21] there you go I mean this is not a brand new light AF frame it's one that I'd crashed the living [@$#%] out of and that was an unbelievably hard crash a minute ago but if you run a super lightweight
[02:21:39] frame you're going to sacrifice some durability that's why I like the V3 frame the most my God bro oh man the broken frame is making this thing
[02:22:13] angry one more try it the giant power loop I got it who that can do that power Loop damn I can't believe I just built this and the frame broke that quick jeez I mean again this is not a brand
[02:22:33] new frame and this was a frame that I'd been using on another build with these 40,000 KV Motors and these motors are they make a lot of power I've never seen one of these frames what's
[02:22:49] interesting about the light AF frames is that they keep breaking in different spots and I actually really if a frame breaks in the same spot so the the air 65 Frame it
[02:23:06] always breaks right here even the air 75 frame look ready check this out the air 75 frame has the same problem it always breaks in the exact same spot
[02:23:21] right back here where I've patched it on both sides now so this Frame and the air the air 65 and the air 75 frames they always break here what that means is there is a problem with this Frame
[02:23:34] design and it that's a weak point like a very specific weak point and if before they made this Frame they'd been able to figure that out they could have solved that right and so this is a
[02:23:47] very specific weak point if they had strengthened it here then it would be significantly more durable right because it's breaking in the exact same spot every time the the
[02:23:58] light AF frames I've broken three of them now I think and they keep breaking in different spots one of them broke down one of them broke right here it was on one of the front
[02:24:14] ducts it was on one of the front ducts it broke right here where my fingernail is I had another one that broke inside here and now this one is breaking here I really that
[02:24:27] means that there's not a specific weak point and it's and means that the whole frame is strong what I mean does that make sense so that's kind of cool I'm annoyed that I
[02:24:41] just put this thing together in a new frame and it broke but that's the game sometimes so there we go we flew let's take a look at the camera testing and why is there an extra
[02:25:04] screenshot no no no no no no no what is this why is there an extra screenshot no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no co1 and then bi
[02:25:21] ant CO3 fxt nano3 okay okay I see what happened I see what happened this one is not the pinch this one is the razor got it razor and then pinch let me
[02:25:54] just yeah that looks like the razor that absolutely looks like the pinch okay cool now we're good okay so let me just get this ever so slightly organized Jackalope with a $10 Super
[02:26:13] Chat he says Happy New Year my guy thank you brother thank you very much that is super cool of you all right I'm going to put these in here and awesome all right we're good so
[02:26:32] let's take a look these are now in alphabetical order which is fine and let's go full screen here so when I go full screen it doesn't show me the this is fine this is fine
[02:26:50] these images will be available to patrons it's $3 a month which is only 10 cents a day I do 10 hours of live streaming a week hopefully I've earned your $3 a month jump onto the
[02:27:01] patreon for only five bucks a month you can get in on giveaways this coming Monday will be a giveaway Stream So if you're on the $3 tier and you go to the $5 tier you might win
[02:27:14] 50 plus dollars of tiny whoop stuff this coming Monday so it's a great time to jump from $3 to $5 there's a $10 month tier if you want a chance to win 3in or C whooop Parts there's even a $20
[02:27:26] month tier for 5 inch Parts get on to my patreon my friends cfp.net on over these images will be in a patreon post maybe not tonight probably tomorrow available to all
[02:27:45] patrons on the actual patreon itself so we've got the ant Cam and then we've got the bi so let's compare these two all right they are at drastically different
[02:28:00] angles so the the vertical field of view is hard to kind of nail down but look at the right side here where the door is Right ant bi the door is basically in the same spot see it and now look on the
[02:28:17] left side here at the edge of my monitor ant bi ant bi so they're basically the same field to view the the toolbox moves drastically which makes it a little bit harder but the ant like just look at
[02:28:37] it so the next thing that I always look at is the like the coexist across the middle here and with the ant it's a big old blurry mess it's also a big old blurry mess with the bi draw your own
[02:28:50] conclusions these two cameras look totally different I really don't like the way that the ants look it's so dark the bi brings uh the brights back in you could say that the bi is a
[02:29:03] little bit too bright actually different people like different looks I don't love either one of those cameras bi versus co1 bi co1 bi co1 pretty similar we've got a little
[02:29:24] bit more detail on the coexist here in the middle it's also zoomed in a little bit more right look at the size of the stickers on here and then we' got the CO3 look at the size there
[02:29:41] right so there's those two CO3 is kind of oh wait what happened now co1 no okay no no I'm sorry sorry sorry sorry B1 B co1 co1 actually looks a little bit
[02:30:04] better to me feel the view is about the same but now look at this look at the CO3 man look at the co1 versus the CO3 now we've got some like actual detail in here the CO3
[02:30:18] is very obvious viously the best of these cams that we've looked at so far right good color not like super super bright not super dark right the exposure is is really looking good and we've got
[02:30:34] some strong detail in the actual toolbox here fxt versus CO3 fxt is obviously way less saturated and it's way brighter CO3 just looks a lot
[02:30:55] better still not a lot of detail CO3 looks a lot better my God the CO3 looks good oh nano3 fxt nano3 fxt biggest thing about the nano3 is the field of view look at the left and the
[02:31:18] right see how much wider the fxt is and now we're going to go up to the CO3 it's basically the same field to view a little bit tighter co1 same field of view newbie drone bi same field of
[02:31:35] view cadx ant roughly the same field of view most of these have the same field of view the Nano 3 definitely is zoomed in a little bit because of the fact that it's zoomed in we've got more Det detail
[02:31:50] in the stickers right the coexist sticker you can actually start to see like the black on the inside there this is the nano3 up to the fxt up to the CO3 right look at the
[02:32:02] right in the middle here the the the X in coexist there's almost no detail almost no detail actual detail little bit not a lot but actual detail pinch cam the field of view is
[02:32:20] the same if you look at the left side of the frame and the right side of the frame the field of view is the same as most of the other cameras but look how much farther away the toolbox
[02:32:32] looks nano3 well nano3 is a bad comparison fxt is is the good comparison all right so hold on let me pull this over here because I got to click in between these two so well CO3 we we'll
[02:32:45] compare it to the CO3 right look at the size of the toolbox and now watch what happened happens with the with the pinch look how much smaller the toolbox is the pinch camera has a very interesting lens
[02:32:56] on it that kind of like fishbowls a little bit and it makes things in the middle of the frame look a little bit farther away I know a lot of racers that love the pinch I I personally don't I
[02:33:11] I don't like things in the middle of the frame to look farther away like this that's a personal prefer thing though but other than that the pinch looks actually really nice I think the pinch
[02:33:26] so remember what I said earlier I think that the pinch is an fxt chip with a different lens on it this is the pinch this is the fxt pinch fxt they look very similar but
[02:33:42] just with a different lens on the pinch last but not least is the foxier razor yuck yuck yucky yuck it looks as bad as the ant so it's the CO3 man the CO3 looks great unfortunately there's no holes
[02:34:07] in the corners of the CO3 to mount it in the mobul 6 canopy Timmons did make a little adapter piece for the CO3 I believe let me check it right now actually I
[02:34:22] haven't dropped one of these in here to really look yet but okay well maybe he didn't make it for the CO3 I forget what camera he made this for but I'm sure that we can get the the CO3 mounted
[02:34:38] in the in the mobula 6 canopy without a lot of work but it's going to be heavy all of these cameras other than the runam Nano 3 have these big lenses on them and they're significantly heavier
[02:34:56] one of my favorite things about the Run cam Nano 3 is how light it is and I like I said before I personally it's zoomed in a little bit and so between it being really light and
[02:35:12] the fact that it's zoomed in the Nano 3 is still my favorite we tested the 199c on the last on the the last camera testing shanken whoop and it was one of the worst if not the worst
[02:35:25] it's just awful you can well actually here I have it right here here's the 199c and I'll compare it to the CO3 for you hold on in the previous well no hold on
[02:35:42] so 199 C and then CO3 it's just awful it's like super zoomed out if you want something that's super wide angle I guess but it just looks brutal so do not recommend the
[02:36:04] 199c yeah I mean for me it's still the nano3 or the CO3 I I can't believe this fxt looks so bad when I when I fly the fxt I really like it but it does not look great
[02:36:25] CO3 co1 the co1 is a mess good God it's the BetaFPV CO3 man I guess the ant's okay I don't know the the my biggest problem with the ant is its low light performance like if you look over
[02:36:43] here it just it's just mud and then like look at this I guess the CO3 is just is dark I don't know every time I fly the ant camera I I I just don't like it the thing the other thing the
[02:36:56] ant does is it's adjusts to Bright and dark really slowly I that camera can go to hell razor foxier Razer looks terrible as always there's the pinch looks totally fine the pinch looks
[02:37:09] better than the fxt which is interesting if if you're okay with this Fishbowl effect the pinch is great fxt CO3 co1 bi the bi is good too bi is a good camera teleport FV says you could
[02:37:31] make what you need need with your printer now man hell I just got to figure out how to use the slicer or whatever Co power says it me or you Jank the camera 5 degrees I noticed it
[02:37:41] after you bounce off the ceiling probably all right people Co power says don't blow up did somebody say gangly fan gangly fan steps in keep flapping his own
[02:37:52] Breeze all right cool we're good I'm going to get some goddamn sleep I love you guys bye I'm not ready here's some more here's after the building came down me flying around the rubble oh wait
[02:38:06] no this is me recording the outro for the pilot be good friends love you bye see you Friday at 7:00 hold on a he n a
