[00:02:23] what's up friends my name is Aaron Ciotti everybody calls me Ciotti welcome to Monday night Q&A I was wrong way back when about 75mm tiny whoops when I said they can't do anything well and they suck and they're the worst I haven't said that in a long time but I was wrong when I said
[00:02:42] that I had a lot of fun fanking a 75mm the jungle gym Basher I haven't flown this all that oh for God's sakes hold on I haven't flown this all that much and I had a blast flying it today and so I figured I would clickbait
[00:03:00] you all into into watching I hope you're okay with that because tonight's going to be awesome and you're going to love my nuts I promise wouldn't be one of my streams if I didn't forget to turn some on so suck
[00:03:21] it this is a Mobula 7 1S elrs that has had the motor swapped the motors that it comes with are 82 20,000 to anyone that's new here sorry but welcome get used to it Motors swapped so the the ones that
[00:03:44] it comes with are 0802 20,000 20,000 KV is nowhere near enough RPM these on it right now are 0802 25,000 KVs here here's a really cool like swap to do if you get a old school Mobula 6 with the 2g4 AIO sometimes
[00:04:10] you can find them with 0802 25,000 KV Motors that's these if you're able to buy that Mobula 6 and then buy one of these mobula 7s you can take I mean you can just take those Motors and drop them onto here and it flies awesome that's what you guys are watching even
[00:04:29] better is you take the the motors that this thing comes with which have 1 and half MIM motor shafts you pop the c clips on the bottom you pull the bells off you do the same thing with these motors so you get an 0802 25,000 KV Stater made by
[00:04:47] HappyModel you take the 0802 bell with a 1 and half millim motor shaft made by HappyModel and you put them together and they work totally fine and you've got an amazing motor you've got arguably the best motor for this for this Jungle Gym Basher kind of setup
[00:05:05] it really really really flies good as you guys just saw and we're going to watch some more stuff I was flying this a bunch today because I've been meaning to do some testing of propellers and Motors and I've been putting it off for a while and I finally kind of got around to it and it just I I
[00:05:24] I just I forgot I forgot how good this thing flies I've been really deep into the WalkSnail tiny whoops lately trying to get them flying decent and I'm really glad that I dove back into this there are some new propellers that have
[00:05:45] kind of brought this thing I don't want to say back to life but more alive I guess which are the new HQ ultral lights they're basically a 1.6 inch YOLO prop HQ makes these ultra light 1.2 in Tri blades for the 65mm whoops that I
[00:06:08] affectionately call the YOLO props because they're stupidly lightweight they're also super fragile and so YOLO as in like they only really live once cuz after you start crash crashing them they get all bent up they get they crease which is the problem you can you can bend them back but once you have that crease there it's going to always
[00:06:27] crease on that more a lot more easily in the future so they're the most fragile props they're also the lightest weight props go figure with with lightweight tends to come fragility they're phenomenal though they're the lightest weight propellers and their Tri blades like
[00:06:47] these are lighter than the GemFan by blades which is absurd the GemFan by blades are brilliant as well but these are great and so that's where the YOLO name comes from and so recently HQ put out some 1.6 in or 40 mm by blades that are the same kind of design Ultra Ultra ultra
[00:07:09] thin material stupidly lightweight and they perform fantastic and they they kind of give this thing a crispness that you sort of need to really fly hard inside so tonight we are going to fly this thing inside the house mainly upstairs because down
[00:07:29] here in the basement it's a little bit too tight for it I will try and you will get to see what that's like and then we're going to fly some 65s as well so that you get kind of like a full picture and we'll talk more about sort of 65 versus 75 because that's just a
[00:07:48] constant thing that everybody always wants to know the answer to no matter how many times I've said that 65mm rigs are for inside 75mm rigs are for outside can you fly a 65mm rig outside absolutely you can fly a 65mm rig on the moon no you can't there's no air up there you can fly a 65mm rig in
[00:08:10] your butthole you'd have to be pretty you can do whatever you want but inside the house 65mm rigs are better outside the house 75mm rigs are better flying jungle gems which is one of my favorite things to do this is I literally call this rig the jungle gym
[00:08:32] Basher jungle gyms can go either way if you think about like when you're flying around the house right like you're going to go next to the couch and then under the coffee table and if you think about like the the size of the
[00:08:45] gaps that you shoot inside the house they're they're small right the the under the coffee table is like this High in between your couch and the coffee table is like this right and then the Gap in between those Gap gaps the space in between those gaps is like a foot or
[00:09:03] two right so everything is fairly SM tight SM small and tight inside the house think about a jungle gym the gaps at a jungle gym are like this big and there's like one Gap here and then there's one Gap here right so a jungle gym and jungle gym as Clarkson
[00:09:24] would say is roughly the same size it's the same thing like if you want to shred a jungle gym like sure you can take a 10-in rig and fly under the monkey bars and then go to all your friends and sayI flew a jungle gym with my tenin rig aren't I the greatest pilot ever and your friends going to be like no what I'm talking about
[00:09:54] is actually flying at a jungle gym hitting all of the gaps going in between the monkey bars Matty flipping one the end of the monkey bars up through the the beginning or the middle of the monkey bars and then diving back down the middle right like I'm talking
[00:10:07] about ripping a jungle gym and that's what you can do with 65 and 75mm tiny whoops and so when I say fly a jungle gym I don't mean fly a jungle gym with a 3-in rig or a 5 in rig you canot I don't care how good of a pilot you are you cannot properly shred a jungle gym with
[00:10:30] things bigger than like 65 or 75 and you can do it with either a 75mm rig is my current favorite because you can like power Loop the whole goddamn thing and then it also handles the wind a little bit better 65 rigs though are
[00:10:49] much more comfortable but they really get the hell beaten out of them by the winds and trying to power Loop the whole jungle gym just you just can't do it or like a lot of times where jungle gyms are there'll be like trees next to them and for something like this you can go like throw it up over the tree 65 mil rig it's just it doesn't have the
[00:11:07] weight or the power to do that kind of stuff as as good as these 75s here's the super interesting thing that I've been thinking about though and really the reason that I I clickbait you all the the question of if I could only
[00:11:28] have one one tiny whoop what should it be has come up over the last couple months more than once and previously I've said 65 I think I'm still leaning towards that but it really depends because if you're not going to fly inside all that often or if you're not going to
[00:11:54] spend the time to get good enough flying indoors and what I mean when I say that is if you're not going to fly thousands of batteries like not exaggerating you have to fly a, tiny whoop 65mm whoop batteries inside the house to really get
[00:12:17] confident doing power Loops Matty flips all the crazy that you see me doing like I'm not exaggerating that that is just how long it takes and it almost takes longer if you've been flying outside because flying outside the pacing of your inputs is going to be way slower than the pacing that you need to
[00:12:37] fly inside the house and that makes it harder if you already have your muscle memory kind of developed for flying outside but like realistically to get really good at flying inside the house you're looking at a thousand batteries if you're not willing to do that there's nothing wrong with that like
[00:12:57] there aren't many people as dumb as I am that will just do the same thing over and over and over and over and over again because they're absolutely hellbent on getting good at it and that's okay so if you're not willing to put all that time and effort
[00:13:15] in 75mm might be a better bet because yes you can fly it in the house it is more difficult but you still can fly it in the house a 65mm rig is going to be easy easier but like if you're not willing to put that time in you're not going to get good enough to really like benefit from how much better the
[00:13:38] 655mm rig is inside the house you're probably going to spend more time flying outside and a 75mm rig for sure out in front of your house in your apartment parking lot is better full stop at a
[00:13:55] jungle gym it's a split for me but you probably don't have like a gnarly jungle gym in your front yard or in your backyard if you do that's pretty cool but so I the my answer to that question has evolved a little bit for me personally I still think if I could
[00:14:15] only have one tiny whoop forever it would be a 65 because as you'll see later when we start flying you just there's just loads of stuff that you cannot do with something that's this heavy inside of the house and that's okay I mean that it's just a weight thing like the this is just heavier go figure it's bigger like the
[00:14:37] end right it's significantly bigger and so it's going to be significantly heavier and if you look at it in profile it's not that much less aerodynamic I almost wish that these 75mm rigs had taller ducts because that would slow them down and it would keep
[00:14:53] them from sliding as much and then they would be better to fly inside the house but that would cause other problems so I get it flying really hard inside the house this is the right tool for the job period no questions asked
[00:15:09] but I had I had such a blast flying this today like this and it also this made me realize how bad these WalkSnail rigs fly not bad's not the right word but what what it really made me what it reminded me of is that when you put WalkSnail on a on a tiny whoop as I've
[00:15:34] said many times before it becomes a c whoop it becomes a tiny little C whoop this is a weapon and the the WalkSnail rigs are are not yet I'm still busting my ass to develop them the the 65mm WalkSnail rig is done we bed FPV 0702 40,00
[00:16:00] the the 300 M BT 2.0 folded cell batteries either the Cockroach 65 V3 frame or maybe the light AF frame and props are your choice I I like the GemFan by blades especially the 1210 by blades especially for the 40,000 KV Motors I don't know if if that
[00:16:25] high of a KV motor you'd be able to get away with a triblade You' could certainly try but the HQ ultralight Tri blades the GemFan 1219 S's and the GemFan by blades 1210 those are the only three tiny woop props worth buying full stop like for real
[00:16:43] and so just get them all and see which ones you like best because propellers are a very individual decision and so there you go now you don't have to watch any of the rest of the live stream if you just came for the for the stream title but we are going to I have a whole bunch of footage I have footage of
[00:17:05] the 802 25000 on the GemFan 1610s the same setup on these YOLO props so we can take a look at those back toback and I can tell you about the flight experience between them I also have flight footage of the this rig with the
[00:17:24] 0802 30,000 KV Motors that I built with the geman 1610 and we can I actually have not taken a look at that flight footage one of the things that we're going to do tonight is we're going to take a look at the maximum rpm that the these 0802
[00:17:43] 25,000 are pulling in Flight versus the 30,000 and we can I feel like 25,000 might be as high as we need to go on this setup but I'm super interested to see the to see the actual RPM number in the when you in the end screen the OSD end screen so that'll be
[00:18:04] super cool also technically speaking you'll get to see I don't think there is much of a difference but you will get to see the difference between an ort micro antenna and a regular old whip antenna the first couple of batteries on the 30,000 KV Motors I had the whip antenna on and then when I switched it
[00:18:24] to the other frame it was the perfect chance to put the ort antenna on this is a perfect chance to talk about that I wanted to put the I've I've been wanting to put the ort antenna on this rig for like the last week and I didn't because every time you take something
[00:18:41] apart you fatigue it the plastic the metal the whatever and so I knew that I was going to do this testing I knew that I was going to pull this thing pull this AIO and canopy and camera out to switch frames and so I waited and so should you if you've just got like if
[00:19:00] you get an ort micro antenna and at some point a week or two from now that you're going to be pulling that canopy and aiio out to do something else wait wait don't take this thing apart twice because that's twice as much stress that you're putting on the screw holes in the frame and stuff like
[00:19:19] that that's a way to get your stuff to last a little bit longer that's a lesson I learned back in the airsoft days when I was custom building aegs and
[00:19:27] whatnot it was like I I I would have my own stuff that I would pull apart all the time and then eventually like everything started to strip out on it and I over time I realized like oh right okay so try to like batch this try to do two or three or four things at a time so that if I have to take it all
[00:19:44] apart and stress all these screws and threaded holes out instead of doing it three times I'll just do it once so try to do the same thing with this stuff it's not as big of a deal with these things because we break stuff so often but still it's a really good habit to get in right we
[00:20:03] develop good habits and then we can break them if we need to in the chat J boo 888 was first Kevin summer was next Curtis Hayes Troy prog MC mucas Kevin Sumer SOS Death Valley Ryan Jones Titan Cloud Hopper 8bit FPV valua Bob Bruce Smoking Dog kuo daaa CMYK FPV soap

[00:20:42] Adam Weston fly high fpvs in the house what's up homie 2020 my life changed nice such a specific YouTube name fbv toast Cloud hope hopefully it changed for the better Indo stria Timmons Douglas otwell safe Zone what's up everybody if you want the gangest of gangli to read your name you got to come into the chat early and say Hello if you want me to read your chat comment
[00:21:04] all you got to do is type cfpv you can also do a super chat if you'd like this is a completely crowdfunded thing that I've got going FPV has been my full-time job since the pandemic three and a half years now I got laid off of my corporate project management job I had just started live streaming
[00:21:21] because Joshua told me that I was good at it when he live streamed at my apartment in Charleston and I I we'd become friends by that point and I said to him I'm likethis is the most Reckless thing ever and I know this is the worst thing like if if you're going to pursue your your hobby as a career like the best thing to do is to
[00:21:42] be making money be making as much money at it as you are at your full-time job right and then you can get rid of your full-time job and you still have that income I wasn't making any money at it at the time and I I explained all this to Joshua I was like how dumb is this for me to do this and he said words that I'll never
[00:22:01] forget which were if not now then when and those words have been like my mantra for three and a half years and it's been a hell of a ride and I've been so lucky to bring a lot of you along with me on that head on over to cv.com if you want to support me on that or do a super chat or
[00:22:17] whatever there's a million ways that you can support me some of them require your money some of them don't some of them you just have to like replace your bookmarks with my affiliate links for example or if you just type am a into your url bar and it predicts Amazon remove that suggestion off on the right side of your url bar you can
[00:22:35] remove the the automatic suggestions and then if you hit your favorite content creators affiliate links a couple times from then on when you type AMA it'll think that you want to go to Amazon to that person's Amazon affiliate link I've got a whole bunch Amazon getfpv pyro drone race day quads newbie drone wee bed FPV cycle oh my God brain 3D hd0
[00:22:55] fly Wii Max bang good camera butter so you can replace all of your regular old links to these websites with affiliate links and that'll be a way of supporting a content creator testing stuff reviewing stuff trying to help you not buy the wrong thing and that saves you money so you can do that you can also buy some of my stuff off of
[00:23:14] etsy there's some fun over there I got some fun shirts and random things on Teespring if you want to work one-on-one with me and really learn a whole bunch of stuff fast we can do that schedule that out through Fiverr or you just message me all my contact info up here streaming schedule's here patreon definitely helps me out the most
[00:23:32] and you'll get the most bang for your buck out of it $3 a month that's 10 C a day I can almost guarantee you that at some point you'll see me trash on a product and you maybe were thinking about buying that if you don't buy that product and it was 50 bucks that's a hell of a lot of months of my patreon that you can hook a brother up and
[00:23:51] and jump on to so lots of ways that you can support me I appreciate it so much this has been crazy I'll keep doing this is as long as I can afford to eat and keep the lights on and keep food in the kids mouths so let's hang out together forever my friends on five are the things that I
[00:24:09] do the most often I mean you can just book me and then just ask me questions for an hour and a half an hour or whatever it doesn't matter but the things that I I do the most often are flight instruction we both get into the simulator so I can see your sticks and what you're doing and then we have a voice call or a Skype or a zoom call so
[00:24:26] I can give you feedback on the Fly I can help you learn how to tune and get your rigs tuned and then build planning stop buying stuff that catches on fire I've done that for you I've been in this for eight years I've bought lots of stuff that catches on fire and I would love for you not to and so the build planning session is is my one
[00:24:46] of my favorite things to do because I ask you like 10 15 minutes of questions and the answers to those questions tell me what the perfect rig for you is the best flight controller the best ESC the best frame the best prop size the best propellers the best Motors the best batteries all that good stuff and then you can build something that actually
[00:25:05] works properly for your specific uses because we all fly different we all crash different and this matters right like the only reason to custom build a rig is if you're going to pick all the individual pieces that are perfect for you if you're not going to do that or if you don't know what all those individual
[00:25:23] pieces are just buy a BNF you're going to spend less money and you're going to save like6 to 10 hours on the initial build I still think you should custom build all your stuff but what I'm saying right so there you go there's your shill for the for the live stream in the chat
[00:25:41] like I said a second ago I believe if you want to talk directly to me all you got to do is type cot FPV Kevin Sumer tagged me and said place your bets is CiottiFPV click baiting or is he actually stoked for 75mm s now little bit of column a little bit of column B Kevin summer also says shush regardless of who wins the house always makes money Cloud Hopper with a $10
[00:26:00] Super Chat thank you so much brother he says check your email I'll sent you a pick of my KV tester cloudhopper has been doing some really really cool stuff along with a couple other fellas in a Facebook group called like tiny whoop motor rewinding I think it is I
[00:26:20] was actually just talking to Jesse from tiny whoop today and we were talking about that that Facebook group and he was like hold on on what's the name of the group I think I'm I think I'm in there
[00:26:33] but I want to make sure and he was so he's actually aware of that group which is cool Cloud Hopper made a very cool little setup here this is this is just a genius little setup Drive the the motor off of the the quad and bring up your Motors Tab and then just a little piece of silicone
[00:26:53] tubing to hook this motor up to another motor if you didn't know when when you spin these motors when you physically spin these motors they create voltage and so he's physically spinning this motor on the left and then he's got the the leads going into a multimeter and
[00:27:12] then that's going to show how much voltage that this motor is is producing from being spun by this other one I'm sure there's a little bit of loss here but not too much and then you can do math and get a pretty decent estimate it's starting to sound like of the actual KV that that motor is turning
[00:27:33] one of the things that I'm questioning though is that I thought buddy I thought there was a hard limit on how high of an RPM that our ESC software can can generate and I thought that once we got up over 32,000 KV we were beyond that
[00:27:55] limit this doesn't matter once we're up in the air with a propeller on because that drastically drags these motors down so even like the 40,000 KV Motors they still noticeably make more power than like the 36,000 or the 32,000 so don't think that that like
[00:28:13] it's pointless for there to be a 40,000 KV motor that couldn't be farther from the truth they are ridiculous they make so much power it's absurd but I thought there was there was something but it doesn't look like cloud hopp is kind of seeing that so I don't know we talked about that in previous
[00:28:32] live streams the chat is is probably lighting up with the folks that had found that I want to say maybe cmk had found it somewhere on the internet maybe the guys are already talking about it in chat I'm still looking at chats from 947 so I'll get there eventually but very very cool stuff Cloud Hopper thank you again
[00:28:51] for the Super Chat thank you for doing awesome and helping us continue learning about these little tiny Motors and decrypting the the Matrix CMYK tagged me and saiddude and gangly gang Rino Rola says greetings from the land down under
[00:29:10] could you give me a basic breakdown on the HappyModel 0702 and 0802 motor variants basic history timeline Etc Pros versus cons oh boy that's a whole live stream not even kidding Rhino Rolla I I could literally talk about that for to full hours
[00:29:31] 72s are what they are there are no different versions of 72s the HappyModel 72s demolish everybody else's 72s from a power and efficiency standpoint they literally make more power and are more efficient it's ridiculous so 702 you want it to
[00:29:52] be a HappyModel there are no different versions you've got tons of different KV all the way up to 40,000 802s are much more confusing there's the ex 802 which is the lightest weight there's the RS 802 which is almost as lightweight but it has a 1 and a half millim motor shaft the ex has a 1 mil
[00:30:14] motor shaft and then there's the I forget what the other 802s are called but they they look like this t tiny whoop calls them onesies I forget what HappyModel calls them but they're the heaviest they obviously look like the heaviest
[00:30:32] and Different Strokes for different folks the lighter they go They're slightly less durable for me with 802s the most important thing is that they have a 1 and a half Millet motor shaft they are Motors that are heavy enough and are going to generate
[00:30:47] enough power that with a 1 mil motor shaft for me a person that crashes a lot and flies hard they're not going to last very long yes this rig is on one mm motor shafts right now it's because I'm just doing testing I'm not hammering the hell out of it but these 1 mil
[00:31:04] motor shafts these motors would not last very long like this if I decide that I like this setup better than the 30,000 I will take these bells off and replace them with HappyModel bells that have the 1 and a half millimeter motor shaft but so that that's the quickest kind of breakdown that I can give you they are brilliant the
[00:31:25] HappyModel Motors are are the best in terms of power and efficiency they're they're well balanced as well where they are not King is durability they are durable especially with a 1 and a half mimer motor shaft but the other motor
[00:31:45] manufacturers seem to be using slightly better material for their motor shafts so The HappyModel 1 mimer motor shafts are less durable than like RC and power or maybe BetaFPV everybody else that's that's
[00:32:07] making motors with a 1 M motor shaft so luckily with 72s it doesn't really matter because they're so lightweight the 65mm rigs that they go on are so lightweight that they're very durable eventually you will bur you will bend them but it takes a long time and it takes a ton of really hard hits so
[00:32:26] there you go that's the the best I can kind of do and without going on a rant and spending an hour Cloud Hopper says I was able to spin way over 32,000 KV I'll see what kind of Max I can hit I was not spinning anywhere close to the max when I picked an RPM to use to determine KV and
[00:32:44] then I asked Cloud Hopper how his numbers are from that little stand are comparing to the numbers that are shown in the motor tab Motors tab what I think it might be is that the RPM being reported back in the motors tab maybe that's what can't keep up maybe the ESC
[00:33:04] can drive the motors to the full KV it's just that the those numbers that get reported back into BetaFlight that can't they're not accurate but we'll see we'll we'll dive more into it as we always do I don't see that cloud Hopper rep here we go I'm hitting
[00:33:25] over 84,000 RPM based on beta shot based on BetaFlight using dshot 300 bidirectional and then my question is how that compares oh I think it was Kevin suner I think it was Kevin suner that had found somewhere on the internet that there is a hard limit as to how fast the ESC firmware can spin
[00:33:48] stuff Kevin sum says Cloud Hoppers that's the here we go Kevin summer says Cloud Hopper that's the maximum RPM on an 8bit ESC and within spec for a 30,000 KV motor on 1S so there we go we're it's already happening in chat it was already happening in chat at 10:05 fly high PV
[00:34:06] tagged me and said did you hear GemFan is giving all the castle crash volunteers I did not but this sounds pretty cool a prize pack sign up at castlec crash.org free tickets staff shirt extra fifth day of castle crash green dog TXS and there's the the link in chat I'm going to copy this link
[00:34:24] and repost it in in the chat there you guys go I will be at castle crash I cannot wait's an amazing event I was heartbroken that I missed it last year it looked like so much goddamn fun and this year is going to be even better they are looking for volunteers
[00:34:43] volunteering is one of the best things that you can do in your life you will meet other people that get it and are willing to volunteer and those will be some of some like lifelong friendships for you some of my best friends that I've met that I've kept in touch with for 20 plus years have been people that I met through volunteering they are
[00:35:02] amazing people they are people that care they are nice people they are people that are willing to give their time and effort it's a unique group of people that you want to be a part of and so do itit's also a way to go to for free if you volunteer at Rampage I don't
[00:35:21] know if it's free but they give you a massive discount if you volunteer at castle crash it's free for you and you get a whole bunch of really cool stuff so do itthere should be a waiting list of volunteers they should have too many volunteers not too few so do itwhile you're working you're
[00:35:43] going to be hanging out with other FPV Pilots come on I'm sure you'll still have plenty of time to fly especially because there's an extra fifth day and that fifth day much like Rampage you just fly like the whole day you have like the place to yourself that's better than than fighting on the flight line to fly with other
[00:36:01] people jbo 888 says I'm allowed to fly drones with without FPV in my name you are indeed J monk says what's up Kevin Sumer says 75 inch cpv's basement equals demolition derby right 75 in sorry not 75 inch my mind was in the gutter
[00:36:24] 75 in cpv's basement equals demolition Derby you guys will see it in a bit Nightwings in the chat what's up homie how the hell are you Nightwings says those props are pretty durable for my experience these I I just assumed with how infinitely thin they
[00:36:40] are and with the experience that I've had with the with the little HQ ultral light props that they wouldn't be very durable but if these are durable that's awesome because I dig these these are lighter than the amazing GemFan
[00:36:59] 1610s I think that the gem fans make a little bit more power than these but these are lighter weight and so flying this in the house with these props feels a lot better because they're lighter because the response time is is a little bit shorter
[00:37:18] my my main complaint about 75 rigs in the house is that they're just lazy and in the house everything's happening fast and you have to be on it and so any amount of laziness that the quad has or your controller link or your latency in your video system it really makes doing sick inside the
[00:37:40] house a lot more difficult and doing sick in the house is like crack cocaine and you want crack cocaine that doesn't ruin your life don't you you should Curtis hay says NASA is building a drone to fly on s's moon
[00:37:58] Titan no way not the same as Uranus but close using Uranus casually in conversation is Peak is it's just the best Curtis hay says only 3.35 billion I wonder what we were talking about at 10:13 p.m. Kevin suner says tell all the people
[00:38:24] to go to cmy kfpb for their graphic needs he's doing the paper map for castle crash friends if I find out that even one of you is having graphic design work done with not CMYK FPV you're dead say I
[00:38:43] won't he does amazing work and he's a really cool guy and he's in our community so for Christ sakes if you or anybody needs graphic design work give it to someone that's awesome cool Striker says perfect timing for this I have a meteor 65 Pro I them trying to decide whether to go 0802 25
[00:39:02] to 30 on a 75 mimer platform 6 or 65 702 blah blah blah 28 to 32 fly high says what about tiny tiny ductless for outdoor ductless 1.2 in or 1.6 in makes zero sense in my opinion they're super slow but they're super slidy so you get
[00:39:30] nothing that you really want outside if it's going to be super slow it should be super accurate if it's going to be if what I'm saying like if it's going to go really slowly at least be able to shoot every single tiny little Gap so if you have a garden with
[00:39:47] like like little gaps in it with something like this you'll be able to hammer those gaps consistently and not have to go chase your down all the time and the ducts will make so that you can actually take the damn thing back off once in a while when you take the ducts off they start sliding all over the place because there's no vertical
[00:40:06] surface to stop that right just like every other ductless rig and so when they're sliding all over the place you can't shoot those gaps consistently anymore which is annoying and then you crash and one of the propellers is just barely grazed up against a blade of grass and because these things are so
[00:40:24] godamn gutless it can't spin that propeller and you constantly have to walk out there and pick the damn thing up so the the 1.2 1.6 without the ducts it's just a nightmare like it is not fun it doesn't do anything better like th this this is what you want for that once
[00:40:43] you get up to like 2 in or 2 and 1/2 inch now we're cooking because now you've got like a toothpick style rig that is way more efficient makes way more power and you can actually start playing around with trees outside right and you can rail down the street at like 40 50 m an hour versus 8 m an hour with
[00:41:05] you know with something that's like a 1.2 or 1.6 so the the little and I've I've done it and I've tried it and I have this absolutely adorable little Bido sitting here that I flew a bunch and then never flew again because
[00:41:21] it's just excruciating and then I also have a little 1.6 in newbie drone mosquito and then I also have the 2.5 in mosquito frame which is just infinitely better and it's just it just sucks in my in my experience to fly these things outside like if if you just spent a whole bunch
[00:41:48] of money on one you're going to be like nah this guy doesn't know what the hell he's talking about well like come come talk to me again in 6 months when it hasn't come off the shelf in 5 months mons it's just once you approach those little ductless rigs without that not Placebo but whatever
[00:42:10] it's called when you've just spent money on something and your brain is like no no I love it no I love it I definitely love it I definitely love it I
[00:42:17] definitely love it oh it sucks so bad why did I waste all that goddamn money whatever that's called strier says I've always wondered though what if a 35mm prop on the meteor 65 Pros a perfect balance for front yard and more Warehouse style stuff it's not
[00:42:41] there are no good propellers available in 35mm it is and no there's just it just isn't it just isn't everything good is 1.2 in or 1.6 in the end there's the I've had this conversation 10,000 times I'm not going
[00:43:00] to have it again it that just take my word for I have no reason to lie I would love it if if that was better there's I don't not like BetaFPV I love BetaFPV I would love for it to be one quad to rule them all I have no reason to lie and I've tested it over and over and over and over again I even tested it like a couple of months ago it it's
[00:43:21] just not it's just not Striker says Striker also says thousand packs doesn't seem too hard when he think about six a day Focus up for like one summer fly 10 batteries a day you get it done before Summer's over you can get good at flying inside friends you just you got to put the time in you really do but it's so worth
[00:43:40] it and it's so worth it I was about to say but don't don't be surprised if you never fly your outdoor rigs again but I think that's just me county FPV says is there a way to set a packet rate for different models say like whoops and 5 in use for different packet without having to switch back and forth
[00:43:57] I don't think so but I'm not a big op TX EDG TX kind of guy that's a good question for Joshua next time he streams although I think I heard him at the end of his stream say that he's going to be gone for the next three weeks so I I have no idea though
[00:44:15] somebody in chat might know YouTube just did the thing and scrolled me all the goddamn way to the bottom let me scroll back up try to figure out where the hell I was also the 65 Pro frame kind of sucks
[00:44:33] too everything about the the 65 Pro makes me want to gouge my eyes out with hot poers and forks just Forks not hot pokers that would melt not gouge man do I wish that YouTube didn't just randomly scroll me to the bottom of chat
[00:44:55] there I was Zachary cell says is there going to be a whoop setup at castle crash fly high FPV is here he's probably already answered that if he hasn't now that I'm saying it he'll probably type the answer I believe so Prevail tagged me and didn't say
[00:45:24] anything ster says if not now then when that hits hard that it does Kevin Summer's dropping the C fv.com Link in the chat thank you homie Moss one says what's up Ciotti love the content my dude thank you much thank you brother thank you much brother Tongue Tied tonight for
[00:45:45] some reason Trier says wait you don't have a tiny whoop link tiny whoop does not have an affiliate program Jesse does not want people Shilling his stuff just for the sake of Shilling his stuff which unfortunately happens an awful lot so he's never setting
[00:46:03] up an affiliate program and it's the perfect reason not to I I have so much respect for him for having that approach like if you buy something from his website he want you to be buying it because you want it not because somebody else told you to buy it Jesse is one of the coolest if not the coolest
[00:46:23] guy in FPV Full Stop Christian says say still using the O the OG tiny lifters not often but every once in a while when when I need to move the when I need to put the insta 360 goto up in the air I the the tiny lifters are so much fun for that but
[00:46:44] it's I don't fly them very often they're they're hard to fly and so if if it's if I'm going to be flying somewhere that's like unrecoverable I typically don't fly F them because they're kind of hard to fly and then they're not like Freestyle
[00:47:04] rigs right they fly like little tiny lifters so they're you don't like fly them freestyle they're they're like if I was to fly like like if I was to go to the mall or something and I wanted to fly something that could get really good footage i' I'd fly them there for example but I don't do that kind
[00:47:23] of stuff too often I should do that stuff way more I I should I I need to there's no reason not to but I'm just busy man doing this fulltime is is insane running your own business is is is absolutely absurd you probably all know someone who's tried to do it and it's just nuts Morton upshot says
[00:47:42] Where's God eagley shooting says what motor did you settle on for the best on a Mobula 6 builds there is no best never will be never has been there's just like different different Mobula 6 I mean 65mm tiny whoops it's
[00:48:04] all about the look it's a HappyModel motor it's a HappyModel 702 that's as good as I can do the KV is on you if you want all the power in the world wee bed fpvs 40,000 little bit less than that tiny whoop has a 36,000 a little bit less than that wee bed and Tiny whoop have
[00:48:23] 32,000 and then there's 30s there's 29 there's 28 how much power do you want always in my opinion go a little bit too high in KV if you think you want 30,000 actually get a 32,000 and then motor limit's down as you get better you might want to motor limit it
[00:48:42] back up but like there is no one motor that I can say this one is absolutely the best for everyone it's just completely insane anybody that puts a review out talking about this is the best be super Ary that person is either not really interested in
[00:49:00] the actual facts they don't understand the full picture because they're kind of like new or they're just in it for not the best reasons right like they're in it more like as a business than as a passion than as a trying to help people out
[00:49:20] there's like an epidemic of that and it's like even you you could kind of say that there is like a best motor for like like I could say like there's a best motor for me but it's not true because if I fly like in the basement it
[00:49:39] would have to be like there's a best motor for me when I'm flying in the basement with a rig that weighs 18.1 gram what I'm saying if I move to a rig that's 16.5 gr that is no longer the best motor at all right so this whole best thing is is just it's just silly one of the
[00:50:00] one of the things that's nice about doing long form content like I do is that we can have these conversations and you can we can go down the rabbit hole and discuss the the the deeper side of this so that you have some chance of picking
[00:50:19] the the components that are going to work best specifically for you so the whole best thing is is really really difficult baby Z FPV with a $20 Super Chat dude thank you so much super generous no comment or anything
[00:50:37] just wanting to support the insanity thank you brother very very cool of you if you do have a question but it didn't go in there for some reason just tag me and we'll talk about it Sher says was looking through all your Ultimate Freestyle tiny wo streams M 6 2024 update streams plan I had was Moon traveler 32s V3 frame 1210s
[00:50:57] some plus some 129s that is basically this setup here that we're probably going to fly tonight Kevin Sumer says you are correct 84,000 RPM is the max for 8bit esc's very cool I can't believe I remembered that Kevin Su says it'll be 20 minutes from now before sees my comment
[00:51:16] on RPM he said that at 10:30 it is now 10:54 that's 20 20 22 minutes Cloud Hopper says you don't have to spin to Max to measure KV just push to a stable RPM and read the voltage to calculate the FP oh you sneaky son of a
[00:51:39] you that's true that's true because I don't know how to put it into words but that's true I'll be damned very cool very very very cool Cloud Hopper so what cloud Hopper is saying is that he can spin a motor up in his little rig to 50% he can spin it up
[00:52:02] to 20% throttle and a 40,000 KV motor let me do it this way for you guys it'll make more sense a 40,000 KV motor from zero to 100 is going to be a ramp like this a 20,000 KV motor is going to be a ramp like this from zero
[00:52:22] to full and so at 20% throttle or 30 30 or 50 or whatever there's going to be a gap between those two what I'm saying very cool no reason to spin it up to Full Throttle duh good call strier says and if I wanted to go the extra mile tiny we plastic screws Betty air canopy maybe R antenna
[00:52:43] I would stay away from the the plastic screws they break and they're a bastard to get out but some people don't care about things being a nightmare to work on I certainly do Rusty signals in the house what's up homie how are you he says what's up SE how you been Buddy I'm really good
[00:53:03] hopefully you're still here hopefully you hang around to watch us rail some tiny whoops around the house so that you can see the crack cocaine and be like dude I need one of those because the reason why I don't fly outside with you guys very often is because these things fly so goddamn good Curtis says is back EMF
[00:53:23] analogous to drag in that as RPMs in increase back EMF increases to keep the motor from spinning faster like like drag stops acceleration I am not an engineer I barely play one on TV I
[00:53:39] think the answer to that question is yes but I I am I'm nowhere near intelligent enough to dive into that enough to give you a solid answer on that somebody in chat probably is though but I I I think the answer to that is yes
[00:53:58] backing spinning fter it's a super interesting question I don't know I don't know maybe somebody does I just know that when I take my hold on hold on hold on I just know that when
[00:54:18] I take my 5 inch quad with race wires on the arms and hold this out the window when I'm driving home the the these light up and when the props spin faster they light up brighter that's all I know
[00:54:37] justo says should I say I could volunteer at castle crash even though my availab availability is up in the air do the volunteer thing I'm sure there's a notes field explain that and what they'll probably do is like push you down on the list of volunteers but
[00:54:56] still explain that to them that that's on them to figure out fly high says thank you you're most certainly welcome dude fly high thank you for organizing and your whole team for organizing castle crash it's I'm sure it is a outrageous amount of work we are all very lucky that there are people
[00:55:14] willing to do all that stuff Kevin suner um Bob noxious H I forget the rest of the main guys that are putting all the the time and thank you guys so much it's amazing you're doing something super cool ramdo says BetaFPV just posted
[00:55:34] the release of their new AO and dropped a thank you link to your channel in the blurb they did and they spelled by name Co K FPV and I don't even care to
[00:55:43] correct them because it's like uncomfortable as hell me messaging me like you spelled my name wrong you bastard it's I just it just doesn't matter my my first name is a re n and my last name is cot TTI my whole life people have butchered my first and last name I just let them do it's just
[00:56:02] whatever it's it's fine everybody knows everybody knows what it is right like nobody's GNA look at K FPV and be like who's that like it's fine and if you click it's comes to the the website so it's fine it's all
[00:56:20] good JP with an $8 Super Chat thank you very much brother he says is there is there a better good on you for saying better not best is there a better DJI you use the carrot in this direction
[00:56:40] which means more than 250 gram but I I'm going to assume that you met less than 250 Gams ducted than the G RC calog 25 V2 HD I have no idea unfortunately none of the these manufacturers really send me anything so I haven't personally tested really any of those
[00:57:02] prop guarded so so those are not ducted those are prop guarded like the calog the foxy or indestructible Fox whoop thing those are not ducted those are guarded this is ducted proper cow whoops are ducted these are ducts those are
[00:57:21] guards these are in my opinion these are safe to fly around people the guards are not not the the prop guarded rigs in my opinion are a liability around people and people have already gotten hurt and will continue to get hurt and eventually somebody will get hurt so bad that it's up for all of us but I don't know anything
[00:57:41] about those rigs because I don't know what those rigs are for they're not for flying around people and if I'm going to fly something with prop guards or prop ducts I'm going to be flying it around people if you're not going to fly it around people why are their guards at all buy something without guards it's
[00:58:00] going to fly way better the only scenario where something with like prop guards makes sense if you're not going to be flying around people is if you specifically just want something that's going to go slower and fair
[00:58:17] enough but boy is that like very specific that is a very very very specific use of a rig so it sounds like you haven't bought something yet really think hard about buying a rig most people that buy
[00:58:38] those rigs fly a bunch of times and then they end up on the shelf and they don't fly them anymore because they're not as Dynamic they're not as fast as non-ducted rigs when you start crashing them hard you break those prop guards and they're a bastard to replace a lot of times you have to replace all four of them or like best case scenario
[00:58:57] you just replace one side or the other and it's they just they they have a very narrow window of like what they make sense to use them for they're not slow enough to fly like inside homes for like home tours they're
[00:59:14] not safe enough to fly around people and so they're in this weird like they're a perfect example of the hype train in FPV right like the all of the all of the companies say oh these are the greatest things ever and then they send them to a ton of reviewers and all the reviewers say oh these are the best things ever this is the best thing I've
[00:59:33] ever flown and they're like realistically they're they're just these weird thingies I don't know and so and I don't recommend products that I haven't like personally tested and beat the living hell out of unless like I have a friend that I
[00:59:55] really do trust that has run a bunch of them and definitively says like this is the one Joshua may have reviewed some of them his reviews are always phenomenal and you can trust them so see if see if he has reviewed
[00:59:55] them I have not found and for the record I don't really watch much FPV content anymore on YouTube if I'm on YouTube watching stuff it's to get a break from FPV and so I watch like stuff in with my other interests cars Sim racing Daisy lately West Coast Swing and so
[00:59:55] but what I was about to say is that I've not really oh Nick Burns Nick Burns is the other absolute genius reviewer that you can trust I haven't really found any other reviewers in the last couple of years that at the risk of sounding like an whatever are good enough Pilots sorry
[00:59:55] but like if you're going to review products you should be a really good pilot so that you can actually understand the flight dynamics of it and be tuned in enough to like look like I don't want to watch a reviewer review the flight characteristics of a product
[00:59:55] if he's not a better pilot than me and I don't think you should either the the flip side of that is if you're not a very good pilot then and they're not a very good pilot why does it matter like you're kind of not going to notice the difference anyway but like
[00:59:55] even if you don't notice the difference the difference is still there right like if I give you like one of my custom built custom tuned Rigs and you're a shitty pilot you're going to you're going to have more fun you're going to fly better because it flies better right
[00:59:55] like the gear will flatter you and so for me I want the reviewer to be a half decent pilot and so sorry if if that makes me sound like an saying that I don't know how else to say that but it's a real thing sorry but it is and then there's just it's just so
[00:59:55] it's just so goddamn click baity and everything is the best and I don't know I don't know but I haven't found any any really really good reviewers it's hard man it's really really hard to do the re the reason that I don't do it one of the reasons I don't do it is because how hard it is and it's just not what I want to
[00:59:55] do with my little corner of YouTube so sorry brother I I I wish I had a better answer for you but the the the rig that you're talking about getting is awful specific feel free to tag me more feel free to tag me again and tell me more about like what you're
[00:59:55] looking for like what are you looking to do with this next rig that you're about to buy and then I'll be able to give you a much better answer than I think from the question that you're asking does that make sense AP FPV says if I hang my 5-in out the window will charge my battery I don't I don't think
[00:59:55] it will I I I don't think it will it'll push power all the way back into the battery but I could be wrong I'm not I'm not sure about that I have zero background in like electrical engineering I've learned everything that I know from just the FPV world and so I do not know the answer to that it's a great question though bd550 says
[00:59:55] are you using your printer yet I am not I have just not been able to find the time and I don't have anything that I've needed to print yet but it's coming I promise I won a 3D printer at rotor Riot Rampage it's a bamboo Labs A1 Mini and it's just sitting over there all sadlik but
[00:59:55] I I I just I haven't had anything that I've need to print yet there will be a live stream at some point here last person in FPV to actually get a 3D printer and I'll put it over here and plug it in and apparently just like push a couple buttons and it'll magically start working because supposedly that's the way the bamboo lab
[00:59:55] stuff goes fly zone FPV says my dude what's up homie Jess Mo says I work as a youth counselor one of my clients is really interested in FPV what would be a budget kit for him to get started whoops would be a great start I'm I I'm going to definitely recommend tiny
[00:59:55] whoops I don't really know the budget kits though kind of like the same answer I just gave JP I I don't I'm not a reviewer I I I don't get those nobody sends them to me I certainly can't afford to buy them and so I just don't know Joshua and Nick Burns though they have reviewed some of those so I would
[00:59:55] hammer on their channels to look for them as a beginner it to some extent doesn't really matter as much it's just going to be foot in the door thing to either get them shooting up the heroin that is FPV or getting frustrated and giving up so it doesn't matter as much that the first beginner setup that they get is
[00:59:55] the best one none of them are upgradeable enough that if they start doing lines of FPV that they're going to keep the damn thing so it's just has to work for a little bit and they all kind of do so you could just
[00:59:55] go to BetaFPV and just get the newest cetus probably and it would be totally fine for seeing if someone is willing to go down this road of FPV but there are reviews out there and what the the beginner
[00:59:55] kits it doesn't matter who's reviewing those it doesn't matter how good or bad of a pilot they are because as a beginner you're going to be a horrible pilot anyway so the beginner kits are perfect just look up any reviewer and you're going to get their like I took it out of the box and it worked or I took it out of the box and it
[00:59:55] caught on fire and melted to the ground or the VTX didn't work or whatever right and that's what you're looking for like for a beginner if it works that's kind of all that matters and then if it's like somewhat easy to use and the reviewers are going to any Reviewer is going to talk about that so the beginner kits are are perfect for just
[00:59:55] looking at any reviews that you possibly can and comparing them in way you go sorry I don't have a more specific answer for you on that but Zack with a $10 Super Chat thank you homie he says been flying outside a lot lately getting out regularly has been great for my mental health anyway thanks for making this hobby easier to get into you're certainly welcome and a really
[00:59:55] good point about flying outside just the process of going outside for those that are new I've lived with mental illness my whole life generalized anxiety disorder and major depressive disorder and it's kicked my ass hard over
[00:59:55] the years really hard in certain periods of time I've had I'm on my sixth or seventh talk therapist I've gone pretty deep down the rabbit hole with mental health stuff to be able to stay here on this planet with all of you guys literally and so the
[00:59:55] mental health stuff matters and for the record this whole like FPV is my therapy thing no no no no no no therapy should be your therapy talk therapy should be your therapy Psychotherapy should be your therapy if you have mental health going on okay FPV is escapism
[00:59:55] FPV is something that is so difficult to do that the dogs barking in your head stop for a minute but then as soon as you stop Flying they're going to come right back and that is why FPV is not therapy FPV is fun FPV is an escape it is great but it is in no way shape or
[00:59:55] form going to help your mental health in and of itself going outside when you would not have gone outside to fly FPV that going outside is what's going to help your mental health our our brains have this really interesting wiring where like if
[00:59:55] we go for a walk or even to some extent Drive like objects doing this actually like lights up parts of our brains that help fight mental illness and so there are a lot of things about just literally going outside that are really going to help you can look up
[00:59:55] anything about mental health and it'll be very quickly that they mention like go outsideso really really good point Zach and also really like strong work connecting those two things right so kudos brother good work good job and I need
[00:59:55] to I need to fly outside more the like I said earlier these tiny wops fly so good that I tend to kind of just fly inside lately I do fly outside when I'm working gigs and that's great but I need to fly outside for fun more because sometimes a week will go by
[00:59:55] when I don't have a gig Jake F says see you got a Vista on the bench finally some of my Vistas switched out for the 03s I had sitting and wow do Vistas look like garbage now all Minecraft blocking looking it's funny when I fly now that I've flown a bunch of walks now when I fly Vistas I'm like
[00:59:55] wow that's different but this is my this is the Rossi as I call it this is the rosinante it's my digital Full Tilt freestyle Basher builds that on yesterday's live stream I put this ESC back in and then after the stream when I finished up when I finished soldering everything up I needed to solder like
[00:59:55] a goddamn this ESC plug this ESC plug was sitting like was sitting up like this and I brought the soldering iron in to get to the positive battery pad here and I didn't notice that the soldering iron was pushed up against this and it melted the out of the side of this ESC plug here so now I need to depin this
[00:59:55] and put a new plug on which is just the most frustrating goddamn thing ever because all I needed to all I need to do on this is plug that in then I could throw the top plate on it and put it back up on the wall where it belongs but that's life sometimes welcome to FPV cmk dropping the cv.com link again thank
[00:59:55] you so much homie critis hay says drain man just reviewed a fractal 7 5 and it was terrible knowing what I know from watching cfpv there those are rough notice says you're GNA have a relapse or something loads of Tru references this evening I don't know I don't
[00:59:55] know why I I've I've never even touched any any kinds of hard drugs I have no interest whatsoever it's I don't know it's seems like an awful lot of risk for something that like I've never really heard like oh I did crack and then my leg life got so much better
[00:59:55] you know JP with a $5 Super Chat he says thanks for the great input I want something sub 250 I knew you were talking sub 250 able to fly outside or near people if possible DJI BNF or I can build thanks in advance okay all right so you want to fly
[00:59:55] outside and near people if possible by near people I'm going to make an assumption here I'm going to assume that you're not looking for something to do gig work and fly around like actors actresses musicians that kind of stuff it's it
[00:59:55] sounds a lot like you want to be able to go to a park and fly around and not have to worry about like oh my God is there somebody walking across the park that I don't want to slam a 5-in rig into their face and kill so that's the assumption that I'm going to make is
[00:59:55] that you're or you want to go whatever there's a possibility of there being like pedestrians essentially so a rig that is like 249.99 not going to be a great day they are not going to be happy with you they're probably going to call the cops you're you'll you'll be all right you're you're you're under sub 250
[00:59:55] but it's just it's not going to be a great day I think you're better off buil and again I'm making some assumptions here but I think you're going to be best off with like a toothpick kind of build cuz if you rail somebody with a toothpick it's they're going to like laugh like I guess if you
[00:59:55] hit him right in the face full steam it might be a little bit different but like that's probably not going to happen so I I think what you want to look at is what we we have been calling for a little while Vista picks like toothpick with a Vista so you get like a naked Vista and then you just
[00:59:55] stack it right on top of a 25 25 a half x 25 A2 AIO so that's what I think you're going to be best off with it's going to be nice and lightweight it's also going to be very quiet that a calog 25 a calog 20 those
[00:59:55] are noisy when you get up to 250 grams they start to make noise toothpicks are nice and quiet the big thing if you're going to be flying around people is also like are they going to get pissed off like a 250 gram rig is loud enough where you're going to get these shitty Rea shitty interactions with people of like can you stop Flying
[00:59:55] that that's bother my dogs what are you you doing you spying on me like toothpicks and Tiny whoops you don't get that reaction the reaction that you get is like because it looks like a toy because it is right and so I think
[00:59:55] you're going to be you're going to be best off looking for like a Vista pick look for like a 2 and 1 half inch or like a 3in toothpick with a naked Vista
[00:59:55] there are some BNF's you could certainly build it yourself it's not that challenging of a build I I did a build long time ago on the channel here on a live stream so if you go to anybody's Channel there's a little
[00:59:55] magnifying glass here this is Magic you can just search this person's Channel with this with this one trick you can search just this person's channel so if you search my channel for toothpick so here you go tp3 Vista toothpick year ago toothpick Tuesday well second capacitor fix I I had a really hard time
[00:59:55] with the aios that I was using those are old as AOS nowadays the aios are a lot better but you can take a look at how I did it here's another one micro Monday actually finishing the tp3 Vista toothpick toothpick Tuesday blah blah blah blah blah so there's a bunch of stuff you can watch if you want to see my builds or you can just buy bind
[00:59:55] andly I know there's a bunch of people that have bind fli with Vistas so that's what I think you're going to be best off with to be really honest but if you're looking for something the the point of like a synal is to carry a naked GoPro
[00:59:55] and the reason to carry a naked GoPro is if you're doing like commercial work right like nobody's going to want to watch your footage anyway nobody wants to watch my footage that that's not hiring me and so I force you guys to watch at the beginning the end of the
[00:59:55] streams and so your footage being in better quality why right like you're not selling it nobody wants to watch it anyway who cares if it's analog footage or if it's the the the finest GoPro footage right
[00:59:55] and so if you're flying for fun your Vista DVR is perfect Christ analog DVR is perfect it's about it's about what you're doing not the quality of the footage if I show you analog footage of me doing the sickest ever the sickest dive
[00:59:55] through the smallest Gap railing through a warehouse that's like the coolest spot you've ever seen you're not going to that the quality of the footage sucks you're going to be like oh he's doing on analog that's dope right it's about freestyle is about what you're doing it's about where you're putting the camera not how many
[00:59:55] how many megapixels the the sensor is so there you go says anyone really do where to get the files to print the Batwing I think you call them cameram mounts they are on my Discord which is there's a link over on patreon and then if you join my
[00:59:55] Discord for $ three whole dollars a month you'll get full access to the Discord they're in the toothpick and whoop text Channel over on my Discord where we at in chat here justo says I saw your tea pain comment on bardwell's stream what happened no I was
[00:59:55] just I was just it was just Dad joke Bardwell mentions somebody asked a question why doesn't betta flight have autotune and so I made the dad joke that t copyrighted autotune because T is known for using autotune little known fact Tain doesn't need it doesn't need autotune never did never will that dude
[00:59:55] has one of the best voices ever he was choir kid growing up like hey has a golden voice he started using autotune because it sounded cool and he used it as a style thing autotune was already being used in the entire music industry
[00:59:55] this whole like Tain ruined music because of autotune is the dumbest ever everybody was already using it behind the scenes and just not talking about it he decided to use it cuz it sounded the way he wanted to sound to sound and everybody that
[00:59:55] doesn't know anything lost their minds somebody told him on a some other celebrity told him on a plane said to him on a plane once that he ruined music he talked about it on on one of his live streams at one point he said it like it really hurt him it was
[00:59:55] like I don't know it's like Germaine Dupri or something it wasn't Germaine dpri but it's was like another musician and it's total that's such like a douchy thing to say I'll never forget him telling that story he was that wrecked me he had like mental
[00:59:55] health after that because of stuff and I mean like like lots of people said that but like somebody that and it was like somebody that he really respected too up man careful with your words my friends you wouldn't believe what the wrong words coming out
[00:59:55] of your mouth the impact that the wrong words coming out of your mouth to another human being can have be careful ver balance says I don't get that motor to Vault relation what size and KV for 1S and 2S the BetaFPV 22,000 KV are for 1S but I can do 2S with limit without
[00:59:55] burning when when a motor when a company says this motor is for 1S or this motor is for 2S it's all you can run a tiny wo 40,000 KV motor on 8s as long as you only use a little bit of throttle so it's all nonsense it has a little bit of value because it gives it gets you in the
[00:59:55] ballpark as to what voltage that KV is going to be near but you can almost always take any motor and run it 1 s or even 2S higher than what the manufacturer says so 22,000 KV for
[00:59:55] example you can easily run those on 2S probably all the way up to 100% I would motor limit them down to like 90% or maybe 80% but like on my 2S rig previous to this current set of Motors it had 23,500 KV Motors on it's a 1.6 in
[00:59:55] walks nail build and I ran those at like 70% motor limiting I rack I racked them up to 80 and it was too much power dropped in down to 70 ran a bunch of batteries through it was completely fine I could have probably run a thousand batteries through that I would have been completely fine with that so throw that out of your head when when
[00:59:55] you see a manufacturer say like this is a 2S motor you need to do the work yourself like if if you're going to get down and dirty here and get into the depths with us you're going to learn the the the KVs and where they should be and what makes sense so just get that out of your head you can
[00:59:55] motor limit anything down low enough but you don't want to you don't want a motor limit below like 60% because you start to lose a noticeable amount of throttle resolution so there are some limits but hopefully that answers your question metadon says I have a Vista pick it's fun to fly but working on it is just C awful it is
[00:59:55] that's why it took me so long to finish that one and then when it got finished and there were problems with the AI it's been sitting in the same spot on the same shelf since it's probably has a year and a half of dust on it they are a pain in the ass to work on but
[00:59:55] I don't know you shouldn't really have to work on it all that much other than just like changing Motors when you blow them up Mark Jimenez says the new 65mm wops have less KV and way less but still flying amazing am I correct to assume having lower weight compensates for the lower KV so so I
[00:59:55] just lower the weight if I can't find high KV you're like 80% right Mark a really lightweight rig with really high KV Motors is going to be extremely difficult to fly it's also going to give you flight performance that you can't get in any other way it's going to have a bigger power to weight ratio it's
[00:59:55] going to accelerate quicker it's going to right do all these things that you kind of can't can't do so there is still value to the high KV Motors but one of the things that I've definitely noticed lately with the Mobula 6 2024 and the BetaFPV air 65 is that
[00:59:55] if you can get the weight down below 18 gram down to like 17 gram 16 G a 28,000 29,000 KV motor 0702 flies great and it has just enough power to offset that lighter weight and by having less power it's easier to fly I actually I I
[00:59:55] actually recently got a comment on a videoseti I I dig you flying these new Ultra lightweight lower KV rigs but I really miss you flying the big Power Ultimate Freestyle tiny whoops the 36,000 KV 32,000 KV 40,000 KV builds
[00:59:55] and I was it's and I reply back I'm like I'm like dude this is super interesting like do why like just a totally curious like do why what is it do they I'm actually surprised that you guys can tell like I can obviously tell cuz I'm on the sticks but like and he replied back
[00:59:55] to that it just it's just a different look it's a different feel they they sail across the room better and I was like oh that's super
[00:59:55] cool at the moment my ultra lightweight rigs are all blown up this one has the broken frame that we were looking at yesterday and then the a65 I unfortunately put into the dog bowl and ruined so tonight you're going to get to see big Power 18 gram dry Ultimate
[00:59:55] Freestyle tiny whoops with 32,000 36,000 KV Motors and so also the the more powerful higher KV Motors they will give these things more momentum also the heavier weight rigs the heavier weight rigs will have more momentum like an 800 gram 5in rig versus a 600 gram 5in rig
[00:59:55] so if you're trying to just hurl the thing across the room inverted where you're off the throttle the whole way the heavier more powerful rigs will literally cover more ground they will have more when you come off the throttle there is more energy in that rig so it will have more momentum have
[00:59:55] more energy to keep railing across the room when you're not driving it with the throttle so it's a different it's going to give your flight footage a different look it's going to give you a different experience on the sticks but again the super lightweight 28 29,000 KV rigs are much easier to fly
[00:59:55] and much more accurate to fly and for people that aren't 10,000 Plus batteries in you're probably going to have more fun more of the time flying them that being said the 40,000 KV Motors when you go Full Throttle are
[00:59:55] fun as hell regardless of the all up weight of the rig you're going to smile but then you're going to smash into everything and then it's going to catch on fire and then you're have to rebuild it so big Power is really really fun but super lightweight realistic power is super rewarding and
[00:59:55] super fun so similar conversation with 5-in rigs right like me a power 5-in rigs like you go full throttle and it hurdles up into the clouds and it's like and then you do it 500 more times well like the 51 time it's going to be like all right well I've now hurdled
[00:59:55] this thing up into the clouds 501 times what else is there like what if I fly really low to the ground what if I start shooting smaller gaps What If I Stay really close to objects to do that you actually need motors that are less powerful the the we our our throttle throw is fairly small
[00:59:55] right what's that like an inch and so if you've got a horrendous amount of power in this one inch of travel if you go like this which you couldn't even see but I move the throttle up a tiny little bit if you have a ton of power in here me moving
[00:59:55] the throttle a tiny little bit's going to go whereas if you have a lot less power and you go it's only going to go up a little bit B and so if you want to fly close to objects you actually don't want acres and acres and Acres of power it
[00:59:55] literally makes the situation harder this is why I fly 236s they make less power they are lighter weight and with less power I can stay closer to objects and that makes really good flight footage right so the the flight characteristics of big
[00:59:55] Power less power less weight more weight are fascinating I love talking about him great question stingr a says my gyro does gyro matter on 2g4 AO mpu6000 versus ICM it does but they both work if you can find one with an mpu 6000 that's in my opinion the best gyro ever made the ICM 20
[00:59:55] 2689 it works it's not as good but it works and if you can find a 2G regardless of the AI gyro get it the 2g4 is just amazing if you can if if you have a choice choose the mpu 6000 but you won't timens is in the house what's up brother he says what is Timmons is the creator of the Batwing cameram Mount
[00:59:55] massive shout out to him for that he says what is the dry weight of your 75mm analog wi rig great question was there a big difference in weight between the different Motors you tried zero difference in weight between the different Motors they're both HappyModel 802s dry weight of the Jungle Gym Basher is
[00:59:55] 23.7 grams with the the lighter weight HQ props on it render says would you throttle limit 2400 KV on 6s then down to like 85% or more or less me personally I would I think I had them down at 70% but that doesn't matter at all the beautiful thing about motor limiting is that you get to pick the exact right amount of
[00:59:55] power for you and that is super important what you want to do in my opinion is fly with the least amount of power that you can possibly stomach because the less power the better the throttle resolution and so with motor
[00:59:55] limiting you put it at 80% fly it around okay put it to 70% fly it around okay put it to 60 % fly it around if you can still stomach flying it at 60% leave it if that's not enough power for you bump it up to 65 see if that's enough if
[00:59:55] it's still not quite enough go to 70 but leave it as low as you possibly can the less power you have the more proximity you're going to be able to have to objects the more sensitive you're going to be on the throttle the less elevation bouncing you're going to do which looks horrible when people watch your flight
[00:59:55] footage it will make you look like a better pilot to have less power up to a point if you have too little power you'll like smack into the ground at the bottom of Dives and with motor limiting if it's if you go fly at like a bigger location you just go from 70% up to 75 or up to 80 now I
[00:59:55] got more power it's great so that is a I cannot answer that question for you render that is a question that only you can answer but start I would not start any higher than 85% though at 80 or 85% a 2400 KV motor on 6s is going to make huuge power
[00:59:55] and so 80 is the max I would actually start at like 70 and then definitely drop down to 60 to see if you want it there and I'm caught up on chat look at that it only took an hour and a half okay so I I hit you guys with
[00:59:55] the 6575 tirade at the beginning of the at the beginning of the live stream now we're going to dive into some flight footage from it and I'm going to kind of talk you through it the first battery that I flew was with okay so this is the jungle gy
[00:59:55] Basher this is a Mobula 71s elrs with a motor swap it comes with 0802 20,000 KV Motors that is nowhere near enough RPM the this battery that you're about to watch is 0802 30,000 KV Motors on GemFan 1610 by blades
[00:59:55] definitely run this mobula any Mobula 7 any 75mm rig on by blades the GemFan and now these new HQ ultra light by blades don't get the old school HQ by blades they are out of balance and they suck the the GemFan 1610s are
[00:59:55] everywhere and they're brilliant these are brand new HQ ultral light by blades and some places have them but if you're in doubt because like if you buy the old HQ by blades you're so if there's any doubt in your mind just buy the GemFan 1610s they're
[00:59:55] going to be more durable they're going to make a little bit more thrust I think and they're just a great propeller but these HQ ultral light F seem to be really nice what the hell why did I save that file I did not mean to save that file this
[00:59:55] is the next one all right good good good good this is the one that I meant to save okay so this is the 30,000 KB Motors the one thing I really want to look at here really early in the battery when the battery is fully charged hopefully I hammer the throttle and let
[00:59:55] it sit oh tell me I tell me I saved the wrong file I think I saved the wrong file oh I'm the dumbest person alive oh my God I'm so dumb now the battery is sagged all the way down to 3.8 oh my God I'm going to have to do this all
[00:59:55] again oh I can't believe I did this and I deleted the files off the card like a complete oh you big dumb man you well hold on maybe I go Full Throttle long enough what I like to do is sit's Full Throttle all the way across the yard to really let the motors crank all the way
[00:59:55] up and then when you disarm it'll show you the maximum rpm and I want to compare that maximum RPM on these 30,000 KV Motors to the 25,000 KV Motors that are on it right now so all right at some point I went
[00:59:55] Full Throttle there and so we're seeing 4,766 I'm going to type that in the chat 40,000 766 30,000 KV all right so I'm just leaving myself a little reminder there all right well
[00:59:55] so that these motors probably spin up higher than that I just all right so there's another 40,000 RPM hit so that's I don't know we'll see we'll see when I fly there's another there's another B 40,000 so in theory that 40,000 good but all
[00:59:55] right so here's here's a little bit of flying with these Mega KV 802s I've I've already done some testing between 25 27 and 30,000 KV 802s on these on this exact rig I even built two of these at one point so I could do
[00:59:55] head-to-head stuff and what I found is that there is a little bit more power this is me trying to get this thing to it's doing this it's desyncing every once in a while so I'm trying to figure out when it's desyncing
[00:59:55] with those weird double rolls I did notice a little bit more power with the with the 30,000 then the 27s and the 27s then the 25s but there's a chance that 25,000 KV is
[00:59:55] really all that we need and the the higher KVs are gobbling up more battery like if you have a motor that's too high of a KV and it and it really can't push the propeller up to that full KV you'll take a hit in efficiency and
[00:59:55] that's what I'm trying to kind of prevent here all right so there's 42,000 all right good so 42533 that's the highest number I've seen 42533 30 th000 KV all right Leave Myself another note in chat so there are the 30,000 KV
[00:59:55] Motors now we're going to take a look at the 25,000 KVs on GemFan 1610s and now this I know that I save the right file so this is what I I really wanted to do fresh battery you take off and you go charging across the lawn to really let these things spin all the way up so let's watch it here
[00:59:55] and pretty quickly here we go ready this is me doing it Full Throttle nope come on where is it I mean I've already hit Full Throttle a couple times but I really like to just let it sit and just let the motors really wind up and sort of unload once the Quad starts moving really fast and
[00:59:55] you've got a bunch of incoming air there it is there's that big Full Throttle hit that I that I really wish I'd I have it I had it before I deleted the files on on the the 30,000 KB Motors but I saved the wrong files like a jackass so now at some point here when I disarm we will probably have a I'm willing to bet
[00:59:55] it's going to be a higher RPM number because when you lay into Full Throttle and let it start really picking up speed you'll get like 20 30 40 miles an hour of incoming air and that helps the motors continue to spin up it's loaded versus unloaded when you fly the rig you're flying it in an
[00:59:55] unloaded scenario when you do thrust stand tests that is a loaded thrust stand it has to take static air and accelerate it versus in these unloaded tests when you're actually flying these things there is going to be more and more incoming air the longer you're at
[00:59:55] Full Throttle and that makes the motor's job easier this is why like thrust stand data is not the end of the the story it's great and it's really good data but flying these things for real changes the situation a little bit so a motor that's too high of a KV for the size of
[00:59:55] its Stater on the thrust stand once it's up in the air it could be perfect it could be the perfectly o optimized setup because of the because of that incoming air when you actually hammer on the throttle the first like Split Second that you go Full Throttle is the same
[00:59:55] thing as a Thrust stand because it's static it's not moving but then instantly the thing starts ripping through the air and then you've got a bunch of incoming air that makes the the motor's job a lot easier as you can see these 25,000 KV
[00:59:55] 802s are awesome like I there was the between flying the 30s and the 25s I had to come into the basement take screws out unplug Motors move it over and in that gap of time I I couldn't specifically like remember if this was
[00:59:55] less power or more power than the 30,000 KV rig you really have to build two Rigs and backto back them to really fly them close enough together to like remember these subtle differences ah there we go wow did that say 39,000 that's the first time I disarmed Okay so
[00:59:55] 39,380 that's 255,000 KV so okay there's a difference so here it is on the 25,000 KV Motors 802s I did that Full Throttle rip all the way across the lawn it gave those Motors plenty of time to wind all the way up and it was on a fresh battery
[00:59:55] the the 42533 KV RPM that I saw on the 30,000 KV Motors that was on a battery that was like halfway discharged and it was not ripping all the way across the front lawn so I did all of the possible favors for the 25,000 and they only pulled 39,380 is pretty damn close to 42533 so absolutely nothing wrong with
[00:59:55] these 0802 25,000 KV Motors but I'm going to put this back onto the other frame that has the 30,000 I have the motors I might as well although what I'm going to do before that is some efficiency testing I'm going to do some runtime testing I'm
[00:59:55] going to take a couple of my most fresh 450mah batteries charge them all the way up take them right off the charger run them on this fly probably fly two of them try not to crash rip around the front yard do the same kind of moves around the same kind
[00:59:55] of trees and the same kind of houses and then I'll pull it out of this Frame and I'll put it into that other frame here it is I'll put it back into this Frame with these 30,000 KV Motors that have the one and a half millimeter shafts these are kind of
[00:59:55] Frankenstein Motors they're 30,000 KV Staters and then I took the igal a set of igal bells with the 1 and a half millimeter motor shaft and put them together and I'm going to leave the jungle gym basher in this setup I think I'm going to do the efficiency testing again with this and as long as there's
[00:59:55] not a massive difference in runtime between these I will leave it on these motors again because I have them also cuz they're 1 and a half mil motor shaft but that is a much smaller
[00:59:55] oh somebody said go back and they saw 40 43,000 oh what was that I didn't think was was there another crash where's the other crash I oh is that it there it is wow okay but again that was doing all
[00:59:55] the favors freshly charged battery whatnot I still I will do okay we're good we're good when I do the efficiency testing I will redo that I will make sure that on the 30 I will not delete the file did I maybe not empty the trash can no of course I emptied the trash can what a jerk
[00:59:55] I'll redo that test to get an RPM off the 30,000 KV Motors but these felt very similar these felt very very very similar which is good look the the motors the 802s that are available to you guys with a 1 and a
[00:59:55] half millimeter motor shaft are 25,000 K or 20,000 KV 25,000 KV 27,000 KV the 27,000 KV ones are the igal ones and they're purple and they're awesome so you should just get those 27 is in between 30 and
[00:59:55] 25 they've got the 1 and a half millim motor shaft if you don't want the full 27,000 KV motor limit them down a little bit someday maybe you'll use that extra I've been saying that for a long time now I've been telling you guys that the hot Jungle Gym Basher SL outside 75mm whoop setup is a Mobula 71 scrs with the
[00:59:55] igal motors BT 2.0 and the folded cell 450 MH batteries that's still the hot combo I just found it super interesting butterfly FPV has been taking Motors and taking them apart taking a look at how many winds are on each Stater pole
[00:59:55] micrometering the thickness of the of the winding material and these old school HappyModel 0802 25000 that lots of people love on 75mm rigs they've got big thick winding material which means that it's seems to mean that it's
[00:59:55] like a really optimized motor and it's got a lot of copper on the Stater which will make it run cooler and make more actual torque and power and so I I I really wanted to test that look it's a HappyModel motor though and HappyModel seems to Really Care About these little Motors and they seem to run the correct thickness winding material in
[00:59:55] them so I'm pretty confident that like on their 27,000 or on their 30,000 KV Staters they've they've got the right thickness of winding material so the last step in this testing is going to be efficiency I wanted to test that today but I just I just didn't
[00:59:55] get to it and in the process of doing that we will recheck the RPM on the these guys cool the last thing that I want to talk about and the the the main thing that that was just like secondary kind of stuff is these HQ ultr light
[00:59:55] propellers which is the next file so you got to see it on geman 1610s here's that exact same setup on the HQ as I shall call them YOLO 1.6 is and this is a 75mm rig railing around the house the upstairs of
[00:59:55] Maggie's big awesome house hair is admittedly big that's like a 18t ceiling or something and so sure if you've got an area in your house that's this big a 75mm rig is flyable but I will call your attention to this moment right here you
[00:59:55] guys have seen me do what I'm about to do 10 thousand times with 65mm Rigs and one of the ways that I can always tell if the the motor that I'm testing the propeller I'm testing the rig that I'm flying has not enough power
[00:59:55] or the right amount of power for me is if at the bottom of this full room power Loop if it struggles to not hit the ground this is a pretty powerful 75mm rig look at the bottom of this all right ready so we're at zero throttle we're at
[00:59:55] zero throttle hold I got to go back because I was on the wrong scene right so here's the move for anybody that doesn't watch this Channel all the time here's the move fly it up to this wall you climb up the wall and then you hammer it's stalls up at the corner and
[00:59:55] then I go Full Throttle as you can see here and I just try to skim the roof the roof is like the the ceiling in there is like this and I want to go up so I climb up up the wall and then I'm trying to go up and then trace it down and then so it's
[00:59:55] like a big Power Loop through the whole room but it's like a proximity power Loop right and so Full Throttle throw it back zero throttle and now we're all the way up top and now it just bowling balls down towards the ground now that it gets close to the ground we're still at zero throttle we go directly to 100% throttle
[00:59:55] and now is where we we it tells the tail of do it does it have too much power does it not have enough power and what I can tell you is after doing this a couple of times with this rig is that it it
[00:59:55] doesn't have enough and you can see here it just blasts into the one of the dogs toys and just that moment at the bottom of the dive the 65mm rigs just eat that up like at the bottom of this dive I've dive but whatever drop
[00:59:55] I've done this a million times the 65 mil rigs just like they just catch and they they spin the props up faster they catch themselves lower they're they're just more competent inside but this is the most flyable this thing has ever been inside the house so
[00:59:55] like if if the major like I was saying earlier in the Stream if you can only have one tiny woop and the majority of your flying is going to be what we're about to watch flying in your front yard flying in your backyard I think you want a 75mm rig
[00:59:55] because as we just saw it is flyable in the house it's nowhere near as good that's a desync right there actually it's nowhere near as good but it's still pretty good I actually I want to see what RPM so that was a big Full Throttle blast and then it desync this X12 was on its way out and it pulled 41,000 KV
[00:59:55] this is on different propellers though so we can't make a straight comparison but still that that's sort of the main thing that I wanted to kind of talk about today and that's kind of why I click baited you guys into coming over here there there is
[00:59:55] absolutely no replacement for 6 65mm rigs in the house if you think I'm wrong about that you're wrong it's just it just is what it is like you can hold on to being better in the house all the hell you want it's just not true if if you like the way that the the flight
[00:59:55] footage looks with them because it's smoother you can do stick smoothing in BetaFlight and you can fly a 65mm rig that dynamically is going to be better in the house and then you can have the best of both worlds it's not hard to do I know that a lot of people are just terrified of BetaFlight but like look just ask somebody that's not terrified of betaf
[00:59:55] flight they'll show you how to do it in 4 seconds ask me on a live stream I'll show you how to do it in 4 seconds it's called Jitter reduction in the pit tab make the number higher or it's called RC smoothing in the receiver tab make the number higher done it's so easy and look you can turn it up you can turn it
[00:59:55] down if you fly like a big fat sloppy lazy rig inside the house you can't make it sharper it's the wrong thing to do unless you can only have one tiny whoop and you fly outside more than inside then sure but 65mm rigs in the house are
[00:59:55] just unquestionably better at everything it's just the truth people that get out of like the the people that build like a high KV or a lightweight proper 65 mil rig and they actually give it a chance and
[00:59:55] really compare it inside the house doing like really accur acatic stuff they like I that's when I get the message like sorry I was talking so much I actually built a good one and actually like opened my mind and gave it a chance it's just physics man it's just physics like waight something is
[00:59:55] heavier it's going to have more momentum and it's going to be harder to fly in a scenario where you've got a million things that are going to reach out and grab you and you're going to you're going to hit right you can't argue with physics I mean you can half
[00:59:55] the country does but they're all dead ass wrong science is science it's a good thing come on to team science friends we have cookies and facts it's amazing I love this big throw up over as you can see I love that big throw over the house look at this runtime too 3
[00:59:55] minutes and 40 we're still cruising around at like 3.5 I really like these HQ ultr light props they're really sharp they're nice and light let me get you a oh no I don't have them I'm not going to take them off of here but they're they're a little bit lighter than the gem fans nothing wrong with the GemFan 610s
[00:59:55] they're genius and Brilliant and amazing but these HQ ultral lights are pretty good I'm going to run them for a while here not much this is me just I love flying around Tre like this in the branches and it's just super fun but it's not you guys don't
[00:59:55] need to see that we're going to fly a little bit but let me get caught up on chat Daytona JY 78 with a 499 Super Chat thank you brother he says how about the HappyModel ex 102 20,000 KV unfortunately 20,000 KV is too low 22,000 KV is just barely high enough so those also the 102s are
[00:59:55] significantly heavier so you've got a heavier motor that makes less power because it's too low of a KV and so you end up with something that just is it's not it's not very fun to fly you can try to put a Band-Aid on it by running Tri blades but then the propellers get heavier so your response time gets worse
[00:59:55] so the flight characteristics kind of suck and it and it prop washes and it's not the way the way is by blades with 802s 25,000 KV 27,000 KV 30,000 KV it is just amazing with analog when you add six G or five gr for hd0 or WalkSnail Everything Changes
[00:59:55] and the 802s are actually too small I've been doing loads of live streams about that stuff I I can't dive into it now we don't have the time but we've we've this whole live stream all we've been talking about is analog that's very important when we when we add digital everything changes in terms of motor
[00:59:55] sizing and KV all right where was I in chat jbo 888 says my hover point on a 17.1 gram mul 6 is around 54 that's a lot right on the bad Jello Point why is mine so much higher than yours on similar rigs I don't know dude it should not be that
[00:59:55] High I don't know anything about that rig though I don't know what what motors I don't know anything but it should definitely not be that High if you're using throttle Expo turn it off just to make sure that there's not something weird going on there but it should not be 50% it should be closer to 30%
[00:59:55] danzel the terrible says your grandpa called he wants his teal golf shorts back they're not golf shorts they're they're straight up around the house shorts and you can go to hell I don't have one now but they're my favorite shorts they're actually from
[00:59:55] Target but they're very comfortable jbo Ed look Maggie loves them so you all she thinks I look good in them and that's all that matters jbo also says I'm sure you're around 30 hover Point don't give me any of that you fly quicker than any no it if if a
[00:59:55] rig's hover point is 50% that's almost unflyable for me so there's there's something seriously wrong there but I need to know everything about the rig to even begin to help you out what I'm saying there's not like a setting in BetaFlight there's not like a switch in BetaFlight that's like make my hover Point like obnoxious ly
[00:59:55] High yes that I can tell you to turn off what I mean I need to know the the whole setup fbb toast says the first file you showed had a dash across the yard 48,000 RPM okay thank you for noticing that FPV toast that's more what I what I
[00:59:55] would expect from the from the 30,000 KV Motors I'm gonna have to retest this stuff so I'll retest it and we'll we'll we'll dig deeper thank you for noticing that FPV toast PMW vid says it was 40,000 it was 43k you missed it okay we got there we
[00:59:55] figured that out PMW says that was a quick crash Titan says why not use 300mah for the 75mm the run time isn't that much worse and it's a lot lighter right now for the testing I'm using the 40 the 450 milliamp batteries because they're heavier and because they're going to give a more
[00:59:55] consistent they're just going to be more consistent when I fly these things for real I have like when I'm done testing with these things and I'm flying them for fun oh they're put away but I have these very cool little styrofoam no it's
[00:59:55] a regular foam inserts so that I can run a 300 MH battery because as we saw with that run time getting creeping up to like 4 minutes I don't need that kind of runtime so I run these things on 300mah batteries when I'm not testing them but for testing the 450
[00:59:55] makes more sense good question brother Tim says what would cause a constant metallic sounding oscillation noise 65mm we bed 702 20 28,500 frame clearance for the c clipse one motor tough to spin up at times too I would guess it's that that one motor
[00:59:55] is the problem it's almost certainly a mechanical issue you can take your master multiplier slider and move it like way down like if it's at 1.0 move it to like 7 and make sure that that doesn't change anything if if doing that doesn't change anything it's a it's a
[00:59:55] mechanical problem for sure get it back up to 1.0 or whatever the hell it was but that's a nice way to dumping your pids way down way down is a great way of isol ating mechanical problems versus like digital problems basically beta fight
[00:59:55] problems filtering problems tuning problems stuff so drop your multi master multiplier way down if you drop it low enough it might help even if it's a mechanical problem so don't drop it to like 0. 2 or anything bring it down to like 7 and then message me on Discord we'll figure
[00:59:55] it out Moss one says what do you think about making what do you think about making the new Mobula 6 fractal what that would do is it would make it heavier so it would fly worse it would get less runtime and it would have worse power to wait the fractal frames have additional things blocking
[00:59:55] the thrust down in the bottom so that would also decrease the amount of thrust and decrease the efficiency and runtime the camera mount on the fractal stuff is it's doesn't hold the camera straight the camera can rotate so that's going to make you fly a lot worse
[00:59:55] it'll be cool that there won't be ducts in view but that's about the only Improvement that you're going to get from a fractal frame unfortunately I have been deep down the fractal frame Rabbit Hole hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of batteries through them I've wanted them to work so bad but
[00:59:55] unfortunately they just don't they solve a problem that doesn't exist which is the they solve a non-existent problem of not being able to get an aggressive enough pit tune on a tiny whoop that's a problem that doesn't exist this rig on a floppy plastic frame
[00:59:55] has the the degain slider well here I'll show you just in case you don't believe me I'll show you some of you won't believe this tune and this is this is powerful Motors these are the lightest weight props right
[00:59:55] like it's a scenario where we shouldn't necessarily be able to move the the sliders up this far but if we were in a scenario where we couldn't get our tiny whoops tuned tight enough sure a carbon fiber solid frame would help that but that is
[00:59:55] absolutely not the situation that we're in any of these PL itic frames can be tuned to the point where there is zero prop wash and so to take a new Mobula 6 and put it into a fractal frame would it would just ruin the flight performance and the it would
[00:59:55] fly significantly worse like noticeably worse initially your brain would be like nah no n it's okay because you'll have spent the money and the time to do the the the swap but especially if you had another Mobula 6 and you backto backed them it is so obvious it is like
[00:59:55] so so so obvious look at this tune right like look at these numbers this is on a terrible floppy awful plastic frame oh and not super aggressive filter settings but like these are aggressive enough filter settings that oh I want to actually turn this down to one these are aggressive enough filter settings where you have lost the
[00:59:55] majority of the the latency that you can get to push your filters any farther than this you're going to get fractions of a mill you're going to save fractions of a millisecond of latency and it's just not worth it's better to run a little bit of extra filtering so that you can run the pids up a little bit higher in terms of flight
[00:59:55] performance and getting a rig that actually performs really well so those by the way those PID settings being able to push those sliders so high and needing to run those sliders So High is an example also of how like 75mm rigs are just not
[00:59:55] as sharp as the 65mm rigs you could never push and you would never need to but you could never push the pids that high on a 65 rig because the the battery voltage motor size KV propeller combination which I call a the powertrain is so much
[00:59:55] better optimized and the response time is so much quicker that there's no need to push the pids pushing the pids up is a Band-Aid I'm actually going to look in to higher Stater volumes for this rig
[00:59:55] because I would rather be able to I I would rather have a power Trin that produces shorter quicker response time that I don't have to push those pids up so high that would really help with how lazy these things feel the 75mm rigs feel so I'm going to play around with that but the problem is we go straight from 802 up to 1002 and
[00:59:55] there are no High KV Motors motor options there I W 603 might be an option but unfortunately these prototype 603s like don't exist to anyone else and they only have a 1 mm motor shaft and technically speaking a 603 has
[00:59:55] actually less Stater volume than an 802 it's a taller Stater though so it actually kind of makes a little bit more power than an 802 but that's a 20 minute rant for another life stream Daytona Jim thank you again for the $5 Super Chat my friend Mark JZ says any downside to
[00:59:55] soldering Motors to my 65 millim if I don't mind soldering thanks for there by being so accommodating with all the questions you're certainly welcome
[00:59:55] the just the serviceability is just such a pain in the ass I've also found that direct soldered Motors break the wires more often than the plugs Break I've heard people that say the complete opposite of that though the serviceability though direct soldered Motors is just it's just such a pain in the ass I do a lot of testing so for me
[00:59:55] it really sticks out like a sore thumb but like when you start flying really hard you're going to start bending motor shafts you're going to start needing to work on the thing and what I find is that with motor plugs it's so much easier to work on it that you will fly harder and you will have more fun because you're like it I don't care
[00:59:55] it's a $10 repair for one when one motor blows up and it takes me 4 minutes to do do it versus you got really got to pull the whole thing to do it without accidentally melting the frame you got to pull it all apart and take the AIO out and pull the motors off and if it's a half an hour repair you're not
[00:59:55] going to fly as hard and that's silly with tiny whoops like they're so hard to fly you have to be willing to crash constantly and hard as hell to get really good and getting really good is so rewarding and so fun that like a part of that whole flywheel in my opinion is easy serviceability so I really don't
[00:59:55] recommend that you direct CER the motors the benefits are that you'll get a little bit more runtime you got a little bit more power but to me that is outweighed by the serviceability factor but you guys are all allowed to have
[00:59:55] your own opinions on that right I'm just I'm giving you my experience and the experience from a lot of people that I talk to that go down this Rabbit Hole to try to get really good at these things but everybody's different and there's no wrong there's no right or
[00:59:55] wrong answers when it comes to that strier H YouTube did the thing ster says streamers really open my eyes to be honest 75 might be better for me considering my front yard backyard is nice inside most of the time it's going to be church with the boys awesome
[00:59:55] soggy said soggy what that's a YouTube name right there I direct soldered my Motors and now one stutters is it just a short or did I break the ESC I have no idea you're going to have to figure that out brother to desolder that motor and resolder
[00:59:55] that motor that'll start to kind of figure it out you could have if if you desolder that motor and resolder that motor and it keeps doing it's probably the ESC it's probably the AIO what you can do that would be the first thing that I would recommend desolder that motor solder it back on if
[00:59:55] the if the behavior continues desolder that motor again desolder another motor swap them see if the problem chases the motor or see if the problem stays on that ESC Channel and now you've really figured out what's going on right because it could be the motor it's
[00:59:55] probably not but it could be the motor so do that there you go that's how you figure that out Winder says hi Striker says of course there's also the fact that I'm poor can only afford one tiny whoop specific one cannot break often verbal says I started FPV about two months ago with
[00:59:55] walks snail but I want analog extra for a 65mm whoop any suggestions for cheap good module for goggles x cheap good module for goggles X it's got to be the Speedy B module Speedy B is the best module that's cheapish so Speedy be it up my
[00:59:55] friend MC mucus says brand new build 75 mimer dialing in the tune I love what I have except the motors spin up a lot when I go inverted they do any easy adjustment for this characteristic no nope you got to back the pit tune off which sucks and you don't want to do it this thing does that and it's one of the things I really don't like about it
[00:59:55] there is really not a great solution to that unfortunately that's one of the one of the things I don't like about 75 MIM rigs in the house because when that happens inside the house it's like pulling you down and you don't have that you got to maximize like every bit of space in the house so if you're inverted and the motors spin up a little
[00:59:55] bit like you're doomed right you're trying to slam down an inch from the from the ground those Motors spin up a little bit and that your timing is is wrecked so I have that same problem it's super Annoying It's the pit Loop trying to correct something it's something is happening up there
[00:59:55] it's getting a little draft or something and it's so it's making sure that the that the rig doesn't wobble right so it's giving you a nice smooth camera angle which is why if you back the pids off it helps s but then but you can't really back the pids off on these these need loads of
[00:59:55] PID gain this is one of the reasons that I want to try to find a better power train for these things where I don't have to run those pids so aggressively but we'll see Moss one says thank you you're certainly welcome JP says is there a DJI
[00:59:55] no ducts in view people friendly please Vista units are hard to come by so might be a V3 air unit is there a DJI no ducts in view what what's that mean is there a DJI what no ducts in view like like a quad from DJI that has no ducts in view or like
[00:59:55] like what oh oh oh JP you were talking oh okay JP so this is a this is a continuation of the conversation earlier I'm going to assume so I'd recommended a toothpick and so now it sounds like you don't like the fact that the that the props are in view
[00:59:55] although you said ducts are you still looking for a ducted rig and then you said Vista units are hard to come by are they I thought they were everywhere still have they been discontinued oh oh oh right the disc is the Vista has been discontinued but you
[00:59:55] don't you don't need the Vista the the cxs and the and the RunCam link so they you can still get Vistas everywhere they're just not called a Vista anymore so you you've been searching for Vista which was discontinued a little ago a little bit
[00:59:55] ago but cadx and runcam still have the it's called the runcam link and they're they're they're all over the place they're they're in stock everywhere so you can find these things absolutely everywhere 03 air
[00:59:55] unit is significantly heavier and bigger and it's going to make what you're looking for even more difficult so I would not recommend that oh boy hold on
[00:59:55] so you basically what I think is going to be best for you is like a toothpick but with the camera pushed forward but we want to stay as light as possible a lot of times when they push the camera forward the quad gets a lot heavier
[00:59:55] oh help me out Chad I'm not good with BNF's what what ultra light toothpick is weight but with the camera pushed forward enough to not not have much prop and view setup something like this something like
[00:59:55] this is what you're looking for where so just start looking around this is what you're looking for skinny little arms 124 Motors skinny little frame but then like the camera pushed forward this is I think what you want
[00:59:55] what is this way so this is the HappyModel Crux I've actually heard good things about this don't get 3.5 get get like they have like a Crux 30 oh for Christ sakes BNF's are such a pain in the ass oh my God I'm so tired of the 3.5
[00:59:55] inch thing here you go g RC smart 25 this this is this is more like what you want weight is only 92 Gram now we're talking see if you can find this G RC makes good stuff G RC smart 25 this is probably be perfect for you but this this is what you're looking for
[00:59:55] skinny little arms like 1204 1303 kind of Motors something like this two and a half inch or 3 inch that's what you want that's what you want man where am I at here buron says sweet cheat shirt thank you dude render
[00:59:55] says I wish BetaFPV motor were reliable because those 1102 2200s fly nice me too me too the 1102 2200s are a hell of a motor but man they are fragile and they are not balanced right out of the box they are not balanced it's such a shame Sher says
[00:59:55] what's going to be more durable in the front yard and in the warehouse type situations on soft surface grass carpet 75 or 65 hell I don't know I mean it depends it depends on how you build them there's not like a hard and fast answer like a 75mm
[00:59:55] rig I mean there's different frames that are more or less durable that are heavier or lighter so it just depends there's there's not I I can't answer that question soggy says if I did break the AI what should I replace it with I would get the 5 in one that just came out from BetaFPV but they sold out immediately what what
[00:59:55] what do we I don't know what we're talking about here I I I have no idea what we're talking about here soggy I don't know what the only answer I can give you is to replace the AO with the same one that's the safest bet and if the
[00:59:55] AO was working fine there's there's nothing wrong with doing that there's like aio's flight controllers like if they work awesome like just stick with them if you're having problems with them then maybe change it but like resist the hers to just change for the sake of changing if you've
[00:59:55] got a component on the quad that's working fine and it blows up replace it with the exact same thing it's going to make the the the replacement process way easier and there was a lot of there are a good amount of components that actually don't work all that well so don't roll the dice and maybe get
[00:59:55] something that's worse what I'm saying JP with a $5 Super Chat thank you brother he says toothpick or ducted for people thanks thanks bro it depends lightweight ducted is fine around people 250 300 gram ducted is going to hurt someone toothpick is going to be
[00:59:55] super lightweight all the time so it's kind of depends P Morty says what's wrong with 3 and a half in rigs that propeller size is too big big for 250 gram it ends up being super floaty like a really lightweight toothpick and that's just not a flight characteristic that I enjoy it gets
[00:59:55] you end up flying rigs sort of like two-dimensionally you don't have any ability to like jump off the throttle and throw it up over Big Stuff 3 and 1 half inch rigs need to be like 300 gram 350 G in order to have that good balance of flight
[00:59:55] characteristics and most of them aren't so the 3 and 1 half inch thing is another example of just the hype the FPV hype train going completely apeshit and yes you can make more power with three and a half inch props but at the cost of the thing not flying all that great somebody just did a video
[00:59:55] about this with two quad Mulla rigs the 3 in and the 3 and 1/2 in and came to that EX exact same conclusion I forget who it was but I just watched it I was like thank you cuz I feel like I'm the only person talking about that and 3 and a half inch would be good for
[00:59:55] like long range stuff but for freestyle it's 3 in if you're going to be anywhere near 250 grams losing my voice strer says I mean that's a long message I'm just going to read it go three
[00:59:55] perfect awesome you guys can read Striker tagging me a ton soggy says I have no one key on my keyboard I meant five in one but you read five inch oh okay B
[00:59:55] soggy I'm still not sure what you're getting at here I I I I still don't know what the rig is or anything I need way more info to be able to help you brother sorry all right we're flying holy it's late
[00:59:55] okay I'm still going to fly but I'm not going to fly super hard upstairs because I don't want to wake the entire family up but I told you guys that that we're going to fly tonight and so we're going to fly tonight all right here we go 75 mil versus 65 inside the house hold your
[00:59:55] questions for next time friends I got to get this wrapped up it's I try to keep these streams to two hours I get people that Non-Stop about my streams being too long anyway so I try I Tred super hard not to go over two hours so come on back on whoop Wednesday at 10 o'clock and ask me
[00:59:55] any questions you've got and we'll dive on in so this is the jungle JY Basher with the HQ ultra light 1.6 in spy blades inside the house I'm going to go straight upstairs while the battery is
[00:59:55] fresh so that you can really see it blasting around up there or these HD zero goggles are just going to the bed okay what why can you work please would you mind working oh look it's a Teddy spaghetti a wild Teddy
[00:59:55] spaghetti has appeared I didn't hear him walk up watch the reaction as soon as this thing moves ready I'm just going to Twitch the rate stick [Laughter] so here you go my friends this is this
[00:59:55] is the best this thing has ever flown oh God this is the bestest thing has ever flown in terms of inside the house because these propellers are very lightweight and they've really helped with the response time which is one
[00:59:55] of the biggest issues that I've had with this thing trying to fly in the house scratch recovery thank you very much and this is a pretty powerful setup but it still really lacks the immediate power that you need if you're going to fly in like a
[00:59:55] really tight environment like this all right and so one of the things I want to want you to notice right when I come in here look how much roll I have to put in right so I fly through here and I want to just make this turn and that turn look how much I have to
[00:59:55] roll that's because this thing is heavier it's carrying a bunch more momentum in here so I have to really roll it over to keep it from sliding into the cabinets okay and that is the problem with these 75 mil rigs is they're just heavy and
[00:59:55] so you a I don't like the way that looks I I prefer to keep my and flat and coordinate my sticks and fly around like this this looks better this looks more cinematic every single movie and TV show you've ever watched has had the Horizon level because they use gimbals and tripods and it's just what they do they
[00:59:55] keep the Horizon level and so when we start flying FPV and people can't watch our footage a lot of the reason is because we keep doing this and we keep doing this and we and we roll and the and the Horizon goes crazy and people hold their eyes and go oh my God what the hell are you doing so one of the
[00:59:55] ways that I fly is where I coordinate the sticks but with a heavy rig in order for me to go into that little area and go flat I have to look all the way over at the the oven and now I'm just sliding sideways right I have to re and see I'm still hitting the outside wall and so my flight
[00:59:55] style benefits lighter weight lighter weight rigs and the 65 mil rigs are just inherently a lot lighter and so that's one of the sort of big things also I think it's harder I I I think it's significantly harder to fly when you have to put that much roll in
[00:59:55] right when you're when you're flying around this stuff and you like you just have to work a lot harder you have to kind of fly around the gear rather than the gear working for you all that being said this thing is more flyable than ever
[00:59:55] that it never has been in the house I'm going to swap this battery out and it's not bad look at that we we pulled 39,000 KV inside the house Mikel that's a great question but
[00:59:55] man I I gotta I gotta wrap this stream up brother ask me on whoop Wednesday and we'll dive into that because I have some I have lots of thoughts for you or if you really want to go down the rabbit hole schedule a half an hour session we can just go one-on-one talk
[00:59:55] about it for a while because there's a there's a lot to learn there I've learned a lot in the last almost three years of flying professionally with my 107 all right so we we flew upstairs a little bit okay now we're going to fly downstairs a little if you
[00:59:55] listen really carefully you can you you'll be able to hear the motors spinning up when I'm inverted which is what somebody had asked in the chat about there's also going to be an absurd amount of crashes down here because it's so hard to fly this
[00:59:55] thing in such a tight area yes I suck as a pilot but I'm not that bad I'm not as bad as I'm about to look ah battery just went dead on these goggles whatever I'm just going to grab my fat sharks it's fine I'm G to pull this battery out of here though to remind
[00:59:55] myself all right fat sharks for the win as always tedward Cullen back up a little bit buddy back up don't back up Teddy good good boy just stay right
[00:59:55] there oh boy so as oh Jesus as you can see we can still you a thousand times godam it's is just excruciating flying 75mm rigs in the house sometimes hope you guys appreciate this like I was saying before if you
[00:59:55] listen really carefully when I go off the throttle you'll hear it still spin up see it's happens it's h it's h it h it happens when you God I have to work so hard it
[00:59:55] happens when you chop the throttle and turn it oh Jesus Christ are you kidding me right now it happens when you come off the throttle and then like hit hit a bunch of roll and unfortunately what it'll do is push the thing sideways so I
[00:59:55] have to line stuff up all right so the the dive tunnel for example right like if I want to roll to the right into this dive tunnel with this rig with the 65s too but much less I have to line up on this here I can't send it
[00:59:55] through the middle here because it'll push itself out when I roll it over that's what somebody was talking about earlier with when they're inverted with their 75 it'll spin the motors up a little bit's just they don't go down to zero throttle as
[00:59:55] reliably as the 65s the 65s are much better in this respect so see that you see how it I ended up in the middle of that dive gate even though I lined it up all the way over here see that it crashed into the ground like dead center in there that's something that you really have
[00:59:55] to get used to with the 75s and it's still a thing with the 65s and there is a you can try to fly around it's where chopping the throttle when you do that stuff really early really helps so like I was super drastic there but you saw like you want to make sure that you're not dragging the throttle if you
[00:59:55] drag the throttle it'll really exacerbate that but I'm not like the 75 M rigs like they that's just something about them they don't they don't it's cuz they have the slower response time they can't break the motors down as quickly and so it's just a less
[00:59:55] optim much less optimized power train but we can fly it around it is flyable in the house and if you get really good you can do some stuff you got to really be on it though I'm like I'm working really
[00:59:55] hard there we go there's a couple ah there's a couple ones ah so it's mainly about the response time though the the slower response time makes flying in an environment where a lot of stuff is happening
[00:59:55] constantly extremely difficult extremely extremely extremely difficult and is it's just it's hard to fly this is very difficult to fly and quite honestly this is much less fun than flying a 65 in here I'm
[00:59:55] thinking about taking these taking this this gate here this one and this one and putting them on the sides putting it here and here so this is like a hanging Cube like a cube hanging from the ceiling Jesus Christ would that be cool
[00:59:55] or is that stupid so again we can do stuff but I'm having to work real hard real real real hard to do this stuff and a 300 MH battery would make it a little bit better but the power that that would actually make the response time worse right a smaller mAh battery
[00:59:55] is going to make the response time worse but it'll make the all up weight a little bit better so a 300 MH battery with the little foam piece in the bottom would make flying it down here a little more realistic but it's still just so difficult but flying this thing outside amazing amazing amazing
[00:59:55] amazing amazing amazing let's go to well what no I haven't I haven't flown this yet this is the 36,000 KV rig this is the rig I've been changing Motors on this is a fresh set of 36000 let me see how this is hold on these motors might not be spinning the right direction
[00:59:55] Yep they're not nope they're not hold on well actually I might need to drill this Frame out no I think I'm all right hold up I should just I I should just take the 32,000 KV rig but I'm
[00:59:55] oh I quit out of BetaFlight now it's going to take forever to load back up let's go 32,000 it'll be fine get in there you bastard come on I'm gonna do this anyway though Murs we get a murderer here
[00:59:55] okay motor Direction I understand the risks wizard start and spin what do we got motor one is correct motor two is correct motor 3 won't spin what's going on motor 3 why are you so upset hang on
[00:59:55] oh the motors are in the wrong spots what the hell what all right hold on I need to reorder the motors that's weird start right rear right front's trying to spin left rear well that was weird what the
[00:59:55] hell what mots risks motor one that's correct two that's correct three that's right what the hell that was weird okay stop motors motor Direction let me just make sure wizard star and spin great motor one correct motor 2 correct motor four correct motor three correct okay I got them stop Motors that was weird this
[00:59:55] thing was acting very strange let me go to pids and take those harmonics down real quick we're good perfect good to go 36,000 KV 18.1 Gam Ultimate Freestyle tiny whoop 2g4 AO tiny whoop 0702 36,000 by the way
[00:59:55] GemFan by blades we'll compare by blades to by blades what's up doggo what this thing is acting weird right now there we go there we go wow okay okay oh hold on whoa boy let's go upstairs real
[00:59:55] quick so this is a fresh set of 36 oh this is a fresh set of 36,000 Jesus Christ okay so the the 36,000 I've been flying that I pounded on at Rampage they're they're broken because they don't have the this is what
[00:59:55] I remember from the 36000 which is just Mega Power all right hold on let me get the throttle Expo dialed in I'm pretty sure there is none 30% throttle 33% all right so I'm going to set the midpoint to 30 this feels like it has little to no
[00:59:55] throttle Expo on it let's take a look great and then throttle Expo 20 is not enough for big power motors let's bring it all the way up to 40 and then set the midpoint at what did I say 30 I think that should be pretty
[00:59:55] good save an exit oh much better much better all right so now this is a 65mm rig wow it is really the yaw there's a lot of pit gain on yaw and so when I yaw it's really jumping up in the air look at the look at the violence
[00:59:55] on the yaw axis this actually has is a bit much I might be able to get used to it I don't need to yaw it as violently the this kind of snappiness on y'all is a sure fire sign of a Powertrain that has really
[00:59:55] low really quick fast response time which is what you want oh my God I also haven't flown one of these one of these heavier 65mm rigs in a bit oh that was a hard
[00:59:55] hit I'm used to the 16 and a half g 65mm rigs this thing is at 18 which I know doesn't sound like a lot but it is when you think about the percentages the percent change from 16.5 to 18 is massive what the is
[00:59:55] happening what are you what what the hell was that all about Teddy man this is this has some Jam man this fly is so much different than the lighter weight 65s the the mobula in the beta air damn oh my God let me go it almost
[00:59:55] let me go I mean it did let me go but I wasn't ready for it oh my God this has an awful lot of power hold on this is a bit much miscellaneous peee motor output limit let's just chill this out a little bit bring it down to
[00:59:55] 90% Jesus it still has a lot oh I was focused on the next gate that I was going at I was going towards Jesus Christ on a cracker I wanted to go here and try to throw it up into there oh this battery's done let's do one more battery 3 minutes and 25 seconds not bad
[00:59:55] for a billion KV Striker type more into each post and post less you're filling up the entire chat brother all right this battery might be hammered ass last battery of the live stream friends thanks for hanging see fv.com if you like this kind of stuff and want to
[00:59:55] see it continue I rely on you beautiful bastards it'll only cost you a couple of bucks to support me it's worth it I swear here we go if this battery is hammered ass I'll throw a different one in there all right let's get in here
[00:59:55] and just make sure that I haven't completely lost my mojo we good oh god oh crash recovery you Beautiful Bastard you woo Oh I thought I was going to pull that off how did it bounce all the way over there ah
[00:59:55] and for the record like I was saying earlier you can add a bunch of stick smoothing and fly this plenty smooth right like if I just pretend like I'm working an actual gig I can fly this thing totally
[00:59:55] smooth and I mean this is this is with a whole bunch of feed forward right like if I if I turn off the feed forward I couldn't decide if I wanted to go what I wanted to do with that gate but you can use the AIDS or just use your fies to fly the lightweight
[00:59:55] rigs perfectly smooth it's hard to do in a really busy environment like this if you want to also shoot the gaps but like I guess upstairs would be a better a better example of that right like I can I can come up here oh my God I can't believe I hit the
[00:59:55] the wire on the light I can I can fly this thing nice and in air quotes cinematic especially with the amazing power to weight ratio and it'll never prop wash it'll never do that weird at Full Throttle where it I think this thing might actually need a little bit of tuning come to think about hold on let
[00:59:55] me really quick jump into oh it's got these turned way down that'll help come on come on a lighter weight more responsive rig can be flown smoothly a response time fat rig cannot be flown crisp like this what I
[00:59:55] mean ah I got rejected twice in a row it's like back in college what you do doing little buddy hanging out with Daddy while he works why won't you chase it anymore I want you to chase me so I can fly backwards and film you you grumpy little
[00:59:55] bastard if it doesn't involve me throwing his toy he's uninterested oh we got in there those newbie drone gates are the hardest man they're like they don't look that much smaller but man they are so much harder as you can see batter's done so there you guys go
[00:59:55] 65 versus 75 I with these crazy KV Motors I could fly this outside it'd be fine but like the wind would really hammer it cuz it's so much lighter and I would have to run extra up tilt on it look the the the 75 Briggs are just better for out outdoor stuff
[00:59:55] but where where you going to fly your tiny whoop a lot if if you're going to fly more inside than outside 65 if you're going to fly more outside than inside 75 done that's it no no need for drama no need for name calling come on wow these 36,000 KV Motors make some power holy
[00:59:55] this is the rig that I just absolutely hammered the hell out of at rotor Riot Rampage and I must have hurt these motors these motors are probably like dirty and just beaten and I mean they've taken so much abuse they these motors probably have five 100 batteries through them
[00:59:55] that's a crazy difference Jesus all right people thanks for hanging out cv.com support me I'm going to leave Kevin summmer is getting the Apache smoke wounded snipers in the chat what's up homie Kevin summmer with the last comment of live stream I know I'm missing a bunch of
[00:59:55] comments but it's just it's too late guys it's Jesus it's almost 1:00 a.m. remember those box square racing frames from like 5 years ago Dione GTB 339 a lot of those box those box square frames a lot of the early box frames cine whoops you can take the inserts
[00:59:55] out of and they're they're I'm actually I've been looking at them because there's some 3inch ones that I might do for the cycle chasing stuff
[00:59:55] but unfortunately a lot of them are set up for 20 25x 25 aios which is just the worst but thanks for hanging friends I see you whoop Wednesday 10 o00 Eastern Time be good here's analog drift car chasing
[00:59:55] hold on let book too soon there it is love you bye
