[00:02:49] hey friends my name is Aaron Ciotti everybody calls me Ciotti some of the lights aren't on hold on yes low power mode phone no not Discord there we go and got it what's up friends welcome to whoop Wednesday castle crash prep Edition look at this look at this
[00:03:09] utter nonsense over here I'm bringing mad whoops to castle crash just for funsies and so why not take this opportunity to go through the majority of the fleet and check them out I guess I should bring a tiny lifter
[00:03:28] huh the tiny lifters are cool we'll bring a tiny lifter too and so that's pretty much the plan for tonight is to work our way through the whoop Fleet there's a couple rigs that I'm going to be switching over I think I'm done with the
[00:03:49] VCI 0703 23,500 I think I'm going to move over to I think I'm going to move that a and canopy over to the frame with the 802 IGA one and a half millimeter motor shaft are these are my custom 30,000 aren't they these are my custom like 30,000 jib Jabs nothing absolutely
[00:04:15] nothing wrong with the VCI 70325 23,500 they're actually really good they're really light the response time is great the KV is just not quite high enough for my insane wants and so we will swap it off of here
[00:04:35] oh I'm gonna Swap this camera and can I'm not going to swap it onto this I'm going to swap it onto the the frame with the 070 2.8 27,000 that's what I'm going to do and then eventually I'm going to move it over to this Frame but not yet not yet this Frame can hang out
[00:04:56] unless what I could do is move one of the so the what you were watching there in the intro was the medor 75 Pro regular slash it's actually it's the same camera canopy AIO as BetaFPV puts in the meteor 75 Pro regular meteor 75 meteor
[00:05:24] 65 Pro probably the meteor 65 as well just with a motor swap so it's a meteor 75 with a motor swap it's on the flywoo 102 23,500 and it after castle crash it might be for sale I don't know if I'm going to keep it one of them is going to be for sale what you'll see here
[00:05:51] what you can see here is three of the damn things one two 3 and I believe two two of these are going to be up for sale and I just kind of have to figure out which one this is going to be kind of cool I'm going to compare the meteor 75 Pro pretty much stock with
[00:06:11] just a propeller swap these are these are the 45mm HQ ultr light by blades this is the the one I was just talking about regular 75 with the flywoo 102 23,500 this one is a combination of these two it's the same frame and
[00:06:38] propellers as this guy over here but it's the motors from here so it's the 102 sorry 1102 BetaFPV 22,000 KV motors which is the same for these two but then it's the propellers that are on this guy on the end the the geman 1610s so this will be pretty
[00:06:57] cool I I'm looking forward to flying all three of these lightweight middle weight heavyweight 3 gram heavier because of the frame like a half a gram heavier because of the motors versus 1102 versus 102 so that'll be kind of fun
[00:07:19] this also has the TR RC Singularity Ultra short but I I think that this Ultra short is pretty much the same weight as these whip antennas it might be like 0.1 or2 of a grams heavier of a gram heavier but these propellers are really lightweight so the the weight that it gains from this it probably
[00:07:37] makes up from these guys so that'll be super fun I'm actually really looking forward to comparing all three of those not I don't really I mean we can maybe do that for like a minute tonight but the majority of
[00:07:55] that I'm going to do sort of like on my time it's really hard to compare stuffff during the live stream it's really hard to focus enough on what I'm doing to kind of like catch the subtleties because sometimes it is really subtle sometimes the difference between these things is super subtle
[00:08:13] I also need to fly a few batteries on each to get a really to get like an average of the runtime and so I don't like on the stream I don't want to fly like three four batteries on each one of those we'll be flying all damn night and so so I do want to try
[00:08:32] to put a whole bunch of stuff up in the air tonight but we'll see we'll see if we have time to fly those three guys back to back and talk a little bit a little bit about them maybe I'll just do like a minute on each what I mean maybe not run an entire battery I emailed get FPV about the hglrc
[00:08:50] Spectre failing and they they said we watched the live stream and you're right it's bad send it back to us and we'll send it back to hglrc and we'll shoot you at a replacement so
[00:09:06] I guess I'm gonna give it another I guess I'm gonna give hglrc another shot apologies for being quite so insane at the end of at the end of Monday night's live stream it's just I I I just I I don't I don't have a
[00:09:30] lot of time to waste and hglrc keeps keeps wasting my time and so I don't know I had like so much stuff to get done just to try to get ready for castle crash and that this aiio just its pants right out of the box was through a monkey wrench into the works as old people
[00:10:01] say so there's that what's up chat Curtis Hayes was first cmk was next Troy pre log Andrew Taylor free lojo Spaceman spiff Striker Northern Tier Matthew Rose hockey rounds Frank Nicholas soap Legend Walter vanen or danzel the terrible Curtis Hayes
[00:10:20] Anonymous doubles FPV Douglas 6 Cactus Scotty Scott skull 901 Oops I meant to grab the scroll bar there we go sleepy CBR parkour guy Dave S Bobby H Bren Anderson Jam 2.1 Mr Blue Sky tiny shark Shelby V is in the house what's up homie he says I just
[00:10:45] saw it come on r four all packed ready to head out in the oh you're going tomorrow I'm not going till Friday I only got the hotel room for Friday night Saturday night Sunday night I we'll be there on Monday though so that'll be fun witch cat DAV S I
[00:11:05] think I got everybody Captain Calgary I did not flying carrot Mo FPV what's up brother Mo FPV says what is castle crash Google it's a it's a it's a FPV event that is this weekend in South Carolina in middle of goddamn nowhere South Carolina as apparently
[00:11:27] like just like Rampage in the middle of goddamn nowhere South Carolina Ginger F pvrc says hello is the wizard worth New Motors did they still sell the wizard oh my god really
[00:11:47] I I'm stunned what oh my God hold on no way oh my God how is that PO oh wow that's kind of expensive Jesus how is that possible how do they still sell this thing wow okay is the wizard worth New
[00:12:22] Motors I never I never went down the the wizard Rabbit Hole so I have no idea whether or not the flight controller ESC camera VTX are worth a the the frame is probably not great but also probably what it is worth Motors because if
[00:12:46] you put Motors on this thing someday you're going to you're going to either continue to upgrade it or you're going to build something from scratch and you can take the motors off of this and put it onto something else so yes it's worth it to change Motors Motors make a huge difference what what motors are on it though you might not get a great
[00:13:07] you might not get a big Improvement in Flight characteristics where's are there no specs at all on it what the hell what really there's no specs at all on it is this real life oh here we go here we go here we go
[00:13:34] oh my God why where there we go oh boy 2206 2300 KV Motors well so it's set up for 4S I'm going to assume that it won't take 6s let's see flate controller ES see input voltage 2 to 6s no
[00:14:05] boy what I maybe not trusted on 6s though but it can it claims to have a 60 amp ESC I'm kind of tempted to recommend that you not spend any money on it and you could and you just leave it just leave it alone look here here's here's what could potentially happen here's what
[00:14:32] happened to me I bought a babyhawk a white emac babyhawk eight years ago for my first FPV rig plastic frame terrible Motors that were meant for like a c photography drone just a heap of right and then want piece by
[00:14:52] piece by piece by piece by piece I upgraded it I changed the frame I changed the camera I changed the propellers I changed the Motors and then I had the entire original rig all torn apart in pieces and now what now what do you
[00:15:11] do you put that back together so just leave this thing together and custom build a rig save your money or buy Motors but like if you buy Motors you can put the motors onto it and you can take the motors off of it but it's just kind of wasting time look you're not you're not going to keep this Frame you're probably not going to keep
[00:15:37] this the the the Wizard is built to be absolutely as cheap as possible maybe the flight controller is okay maybe the ESC is okay but like the camera probably sucks the VTX probably sucks right the frame is is nowhere
[00:15:57] near as good as any of the current Fram so I would leave it leave it alone play with propellers try different propellers they make a big difference in Flight characteristics and just so focus on that focus on finding the perfect set of propellers for The Wizard
[00:16:17] and while you're doing that buy a set of Motors buy a flight controller buy an ESC buy a frame do it little by little if you have to or save your money and do it all at once and then build your first custom rig the wizard stays together you find the perfect set of props for it you put that up on the wall and it is
[00:16:35] it's the first 5-in rig you ever built and that's awesome that's what this is for me I never fly it but this is the C the first custom 5-in build that I ever did it's awesome that it's there I love that it sits there and hangs out like once every other year witch cat just be patient once every other year I'll
[00:16:54] fly it and it's awesome because it makes me appreciate every sing other rig that I've ever built and so that's going to be my recommendation because if you change the motors then you're going to at some point change the camera and then at some point you're going to
[00:17:10] change the antenna and then at some point you're going to change the VT and you're going to go down this God damn path of changing everything on the rig and then having a pile of the the whole thing ripped apart so there you go that's my recommendation and that comes from a place of having done
[00:17:30] that custom FPV is in the chat what's up brother how are you look at look look wait no not the right one look it this is what happens when you when you send stickers or cool 3D printed things along with packages that come to
[00:17:48] me if you guys don't know custom FPV is who makes these really really cool tiny whoop cases that are over on Tiny whoops website but if you ask him nicely and I just messaged him on Instagram and ask them there he will do custom ones for you which is really really cool these
[00:18:14] are the double cases which I really dig these double cases are perfect for me for bringing like two and two here's the other one that he made for me when you go out to actually fly like the these are the ones that go out
[00:18:31] to fly and then these big four bastards are good for like kind of storage on your shelf what I really to be really honest though the the doubles what I really like about them are these little pockets here to put your batteries in this is this is just perfect so
[00:18:50] it's very very cool he makes them in two or four both 65 and 75 and the the the quality is just unbelievable I i' I've never seen layer lines this tight like this this is 3D printing good enough that it's looks like an actual product right like
[00:19:13] a lot of times 3D printing is like kind of janky and it's like some guy made this like you can't imagine it being like being for sale right like sitting on a store shelf these are nice enough that like I can see them sitting on the store shelf they're that good it's really cool I I
[00:19:32] learned a 3D printing thing speaking of 3D printing to that's good enough to sit on stor shelves I I'm starting to get I'm starting to get served 3D printing stuff on on YouTube because I'm watching things here here and there and the algorithm is
[00:19:53] like kind of figuring it out and I came across something cool it's a it's apparently it's just a setting that you can turn on but it looks really slick and of course now I forget what the hell it's called but it's a it's a setting
[00:20:11] that when the 3D printer gets to like a flat surface like this it'll jiggle the print head a little bit and what it ends up doing is making like this so this is the print bed surface this is the textured print bed what it ends up doing is making the sides look same surface so a lot of the Air Lines go away and it just gets like a little
[00:20:30] bit of a texture to it who knows who knows what that's called the only thing I I wonder if the the lid would fit as tight and I thought that was kind of cool and now I'm like I'm kind of more more jazzed up to fuzzy skin that's it fuzzy fuzzy fuzzy yep fuzzy I think
[00:20:49] hold on let me check if I go to history and then I search watch history for fuzzy here's my question yep my this is this is the video I watched here Jake Grim why here's my question why don't more people do the do the fuzzy thing witch cat you got to be patient brother you got to be patient there's a lot of people in the chat
[00:21:15] this is not just if you want to do a one-on-one session with me I do that over on C fpv.one on-one session with me in the live stream you're with a whole bunch of other people you got to chill cool how come more people don't do the don't do the fuzzy thing what's the is is there like a downside to it's looks
[00:21:34] really oh look stop stop oh no no th this is totally clickbait this guy's talking about using like like leather textures like other weird textures he's saying like he said like fuzzy skin is just too simple and you can do like all kinds of other crazy textures just as easily but why don't more people
[00:21:53] use fuzzy is it is it is there like a downside to it you guys are the 3D printing people not me I thought it looked super cool the the the guy was trying to make a product to sell and he wasn't happy with the layer lines and he did a bunch of research
[00:22:12] and found the fuzzy thing and he started making his products with the fuzzy thing and he was like I I thought it looked a lot cooler so that's my
[00:22:18] question to you guys in the chat if you want to talk directly to me all you got to do is type c FPV in your message you can put it at in front of it but you don't have to when you do that it lights up an orange the other way to get my attention is to do a super
[00:22:31] chat and you're also going to be supporting the very difficult job that is being a full-time FPV content creator so head on over to Ciotti fv.com is kind of the other this is a horribly worded string of thoughts if you go over to
[00:22:51] C if you go over to cpb.com there's a million other ways that you can support me patreon definitely helps me out the most Etsy you can speaking of etsy I put a whole bunch of new stuff up on Etsy today and there's lots more coming I've got the coffee table all loaded up with stuff all the new stickers the
[00:23:11] the Apple o OG Apple rainbow holographic CiottiFPV sticker All These Guys these are all up here this is a glow-in-the-dark SEI FPV GoPro sticker and then some super random stuff set of BetaFPV 802 23000 I actually have a couple of
[00:23:28] sets of these VCI 0702 29000 these what I've been noticing a lot of the racers are running these motors which I don't I didn't think these were as as efficient as HappyModel Motors but here's the thing after I ran these I realized that the that these are they're
[00:23:47] not actually 29,000 KV they're they perform like 32,000 KV 33,000 KV so that might kind of explain why I was looking for efficiency on par with other 702 29,000 right and so these are these are a higher KV than they actually
[00:24:06] say on the box but I've actually got three sets of these some Tango two Springs all kinds of weird stuff I have no idea what this weirdo thing is but I think these are Servo plugs right those black plugs those are Servo plugs whatever so keep your eye on the Etsy store lots of cool new stuff coming Fiverr like I said a minute ago you
[00:24:25] can schedule a one-on-one session with me half an hour or an hour I can get you to fly better with the simulator I spectate you and I can see your stick your stick overlay and I can help you fly like me or whoever else you want to fly like I can help you learn how to tune I can help you plan a buildout so that you don't buy an $80 ESC that blows
[00:24:45] up as soon as you put power to it I've done that I've wasted thousands of dollars figuring out what stuff sucks and what stuff is good I would love to help you build the perfect rig for you I asked you a ton of questions to really get dialed in and then I suggest top to bottom the perfect frame for your needs the perfect Motors the perfect
[00:25:04] props bang bang bang bang bang bang bang and then you actually custom build something that is dialed in rather than you try a set of Motors you buy another set of Motors see if you like them you buy another set of Motors see if you like them and you just go you know
[00:25:19] thousands and thousands of dollars in the hole trying to figure out what the perfect rig for yourself is I've done a lot of that work I understand this stuff top to bottom I can help you get like 99% of the way there teesprings got some fun shirts and other random weird stuff and then loads of affiliate links these are free my friends change
[00:25:38] your bookmarks to my or somebody's affiliate links there's no reason to not use an affiliate link every time you do an order on the internet pretty much every website has an affiliate program and you've got a content creator that you watch that you can give them some pre money to support them to let them keep doing what they're doing or do a
[00:25:56] better job with it by just replacing your bookmarks with their affiliate links or like I don't use bookmarks right when I want to go to Amazon I just type AMA in here if you do that off on the right side of the suggestions there's always like a little button or maybe you can right click it's depends on the browser and you can remove the
[00:26:14] current suggestions when you type AMA for Amazon or ra Ace for race day quads and then all you got to do is come in here and just like hit these affiliate links a couple times and then your browser will think that when you type in RC you want to go to my affiliate link so couple different ways for you
[00:26:32] to use affiliate links without having to remember because it's impossible to remember because you're so excited to waste your money on FPV stuff that's
[00:26:41] how you support me friends I really appreciate you guys do a great job with it I'm finally breaking down and getting a an office mat because the carpet is starting to get up over here what I've noticed is these rollerblade Wheels when they when they turn on the carpet they're ripping out little things of the carpet so I I think
[00:26:59] I made a bad decision switching the wheels on this desk chair but that's okay I'm trying to figure out this is kind of cool but it's also kind of I don't know it's might be like a little bit childish it's also it's 47 round whereas this guy is 36x
[00:27:21] 48 I think this is just going to like fit this spot a little bit better and I don't know I think it looks pretty cool right it's a little something going on rather than like just the boring plastic sheet so I don't know I started looking there's all kinds of weird on Amazon so that's my life
[00:27:43] what did you do today all right what's up chat danzel the terrible says stream on me God curtisy says how did I love the basement I have two rooms in my basement just for me nice I I com it in chat hello basement dwellers which is a
[00:28:02] Jimmy Broadbent used to call his his fans basement dwellers and I'm just going to steal it brand Anderson says howdy ho he yay and man cheers parkour guy says I only get my f I only get my first three sets of beeps and the
[00:28:18] flight controller doesn't show Power but on USB it powers and connects fine and Powers up is the flight controller likely Dead likely yes so if so get your multimeter out and check the leads coming out of the ESC that go into the flight controller
[00:28:39] make sure that there's voltage there there probably will be that's going to that's going to tell you if it's your flight controller or if it's your ESC if there is power getting up to the flight controller then the ESC is fine it's still outputting vbat or however the hell you have it hooked up and in that CA this is is probably what's going
[00:28:59] on in that case the 5V and or the 3.3 volt back becc on the flight controller have died when you plug the flight controller into USB your computer gives it 5 volts and that fires the flight controller up more than likely when the
[00:29:21] ESC is sending that power up the becc is blown up so it's not powering it technically what you can do is take the some esc's will have a 5volt out if they don't you can buy a little 5volt Beck and put that in line run it the the the existing output from the ESC is probably
[00:29:44] vbat you can run that into this 5vt backck and then it will send 5 volts to any pad on the flight controller and all of the 5volt pads are connected so whichever pad you hook that incoming source of 5 volts up to it will it will
[00:30:02] spread that 5 volts out and it'll power most things on that flight controller what it won't power is like if the flight controller has an 8vt output that won't get power because that's a separate 8vt backck or 9 or 10vt backck
[00:30:20] that's being powered off of the vat right the other thing that won't work if you do that little trick the other thing if if your ES has a 5vt out you can just take that 5vt out and just hook it up to a 5volt pad on the flight controller and it'll do the same thing right what you will lose is voltage in your OSD the
[00:30:41] voltage in your OSD comes from a I think it's a shunt resistor that's on the flight controller that's basically hooked up to that 5vt backck that relies on that vbat coming in no it's not it has nothing to do with the 5 volt back it's there's just a
[00:30:59] shunt resistor on the flight controller that's fed from vbat and that's where it reads the voltage for you so you will lose that by doing this little runaround but other than that it'll it it'll work fine so there are your options that's a fairly common failure
[00:31:19] parkour guy if you stay in this hobby long enough this won't be the last time that happens can I get a channel Tagg me but didn't give me a little pie sign Mr Blue Sky says renaissance man what's that in reference to testing many things Dan zeld terrible says
[00:31:37] see witch cat question three above question three I guess it's this would the air 65 race be the same as the air 65 freestyle if you turn the KV down and braid a fight and change the pl props to the freestyle ones pretty much there's going to be a tiny tiny tiny decrease in efficiency but it's not
[00:32:02] something that you'll notice I I I've tested it's doesn't show up in actual run times and it so you're you're better off getting the higher KV version and to be honest you won't motor limit's down you'll leave it at the full power because it flies great at the full power but if that is
[00:32:22] too much yes you can then motor limit's down but the the lower KV one is too low of a KV you you don't want to get that one you want to get the higher the higher KV one Morton upshot says fuzzy skin yep that's it did did anybody say there we go
[00:32:43] Ginger FPV says fuzzies fuzzy messes the fit up sometimes in slicing time oh the time he did say that he did say that the print times like damn near double when you use fuzzy skin I'm going to try it I'm kind of excited to try it out AZ Lone Wolf 81 says Speedy bf45 mini
[00:33:02] stack 35 MSC is that high high enough to run 6S for a quad mola F3 that is actually enough to run a full-blown 5S rig well it's hold on speed no absolutely lots of people run that Speedy B stack on 5-inch
[00:33:21] rigs Ryan harell who created mini quad test bench and has done more ESC and motor testing than anyone else in FPV Ryan Harold still runs 25 amp esc's on his 5 amp 5S RI 5 in rigs Jesus which are on 6s making big ass
[00:33:41] power on like high KV 227s and it's completely fine the fact that there are all these esc's targeted to 5 in quads that are like 55 amps 65 amps is just crackhead like those are esc's that should be targeted for like lifters
[00:34:00] you know like there is no 5 in powertrain battery or Motors that is going to pull 200 plus amps which is what a 50 amp ESC gives you right so now you blow that up to 55 amp esc's 65 amp esc's it's just insane I I think May the
[00:34:22] majority of the reason why they're doing it is because bigger numbers sell better and it's not it's probably hardly any extra money for them to buy the 55 amp fets versus a 45 amp fet versus a 35 amp fet yada yada y and so it is
[00:34:41] completely shifted everybody's understanding of how many amps an actual 5in rig really pulls putting that stack onto a 3-in rig it's going to last forever in terms of the the fets the only only thing that'll kill that rig is like shock damage and shock damage is what kills
[00:35:04] most of our electronic components so what's what's super interesting is they come out with these 65 amps sc's and they die in the same amount of time as a 25 ampc because they're the majority of them are dying
[00:35:20] from being battered into metal poles at 80 mil an hour right so if if you're like trying to decide between two esc's for your 5 in rig and one of them is 55 amps and the other one is 65 amps and the 65 amp is one penny more don't spend that extra Penny it's not going to help you at all unless I guess someday
[00:35:41] maybe you switch that ESC to a lifter but you're not going to do that are you really going to fly a $33,000 camera just for funsies don't do that that's silly so there you go Mo FPV says something but YouTube did the thing John Coyle with
[00:36:01] a $10 Super Chat thank you so much brother he says asked you about the 33,000 KV 802s on Mobula 6 hd0 Eco the other day you said too much motor for 65 millim and sure enough wipes 300mah in a minute and 45 seconds yikes way better on 75mm with a 45
[00:36:23] 450 or 550 mhh thanks you're certainly welcome dude the the the 35 the 33,000 KV 802s are a super interesting motor and I love that they exist but and they fly better than they should on a 65mm rig but man they they
[00:36:45] be eating some batteries and they make the rig heavy and so it like really crashes hard the long and short of it is for anybody that didn't watch that live stream is is that on a 655mm rig 702 Motors are The Sweet Spot they're
[00:37:04] the exact right amount of Power weight response time everything and so going up to an 802 you're just carrying around extra weight a 702 motor is available in all the way up to 40,000 KV 32,000 32,5 36,000 40,000
[00:37:26] KV a 40 ,000 KV 0702 will make plenty of power it'll make more power than you need and it'll give you better runtime and better durability than the 802 33000 so on a 65mm rig that that motor just it's just not the right
[00:37:45] one on a 75mm rig that's a hell of a motor unfortunately it's only a 1 mm motor shaft so you might run into durability problems with it but like if you if you don't crash into concrete you'll probably get away with it like if you crash it into grass it'll be totally fine and it'll just rail like it it's
[00:38:07] actually probably a little too high of a KV for a 75 mil rig but you can just motor limit's down to like 90 90% 85% and you'll be good to go so really really cool motor but over kill for a for a 65 in my experience what did Mo FPV says how
[00:38:30] many whoops are you g to break at the castle I I don't think there's much hard stuff to run into there I I think it's going to be like dirt and grass and crashing into leaves so maybe none I didn't no I broke I only broke two at
[00:38:50] rampage this year and that flight line might as well be a literal blender that you just throw your into and then hit pulse a bunch of times it's horrifying it's just metal everywhere and the ground is like the like metal great which are like sharp thin pieces it's awful
[00:39:11] these tiny whoops man are just unbelievably durable at this point so they it's crazy I bet you I don't break any I bet you don't break any but it's depends it depends where what there is I haven't been to castle crash before so I I I'm going in kind of blind so it depends if if there's hard things to crash into I'll at least break
[00:39:36] one I I I typically don't stop backto backing batteries until something's broken although the other thing that kind of confuses me about castle crash is that it seems it's kind of flat so I don't know how many people are going to be able to be up in the air at once like I don't think
[00:39:56] it's going to be a sit sitation like Rampage where Mike or Mayhem is inside of a room that is literally encased in one foot thick concrete and so I get the feeling that it's going to be like two to four Pilots up in the
[00:40:14] air at a time on like the whole the whole site but there's also a lot less people that go to castle crash than than Rampage right Rampage has hundreds of people so I don't know I don't know how much actual flight time I'll get at at Rampage in in Miker Mayhem I will
[00:40:34] backto back batteries for like an hour and I'll fly like 40 30 batteries maybe 50 batteries there I have a funny feeling that I won't fly nearly that much a castle crash but I could be totally wrong I'm not like asking questions I'm just going to go and see how it is because
[00:40:53] that's the magic of a new thing so maybe none maybe one or two parkour guy says I'm new to using a multimeter what do I actually touch to check voltage coming to the flight controller it depends on the flight controller if if the flight controller
[00:41:10] has a set of pads on it that say vbat you can just check it there you can also you can dein the the cable coming into the flight controller deep in the red and the black and then you can touch the multi the the red multimeter to the red wire the black to the block you could do that
[00:41:40] on the back so on the flight controller there's going to be a big plug header where that that ESC to flight controller plug comes into on the back of that plug header there are little metal bastards coming off of it you could figure out which ones are plus and minus and you could touch those just you got to be really careful doing that
[00:42:00] because if you bridge them it's not good right so easiest thing to do is hopefully your flight controller has a set of pads on it that say vbat plus and minus you don't have actually just a vbat A vbat plus pad or just vbat and
[00:42:22] then a ground pad red on the vbat pad black on the ground pad if if you're not getting voltage on the multimeter there then flight controller's blown up wait no if you're not getting voltage there sorry either the flight controller is not passing voltage from
[00:42:43] the plug header to that vbat pad that's probably not the case or the ESC could be blown up realistically I'll put it this way I've never had an ESC blow up in a way that it doesn't pass voltage up through that plug header I I I really I it is possible
[00:43:13] anything's possible but I really doubt that that's the case I I I can almost guarantee you that the flight controller 5vt and 3.3 volt backs have died but technically ESC takes full Voltage through the battery pads it sends it
[00:43:32] across the board to the to the plug header it sends it out of the plug header Through the Wire up to the flight controller so just Trace that path just sit there and stare at it and Trace that path if you have a little 5x Loop use that if you don't have a 5x Loop for Christ's sakes go by one from
[00:43:51] Amazon this is one of the most useful tools you have to have one of these to work on FPV and there you go danzel the terrible says couldn't the cables between the flight controller and ESC on porc stack be poorly seated is it the stack or the AO absolutely
[00:44:10] that's why I want them to check at the flight controller that that's really ideal is that because if you check for vbat at the flight controller you're checking the ESC and then and the the cables that go between the ESC and
[00:44:27] the flight controller as you start checking closer to the ESC you're you're you might not catch the actual problem John C thank you again for the Super Chat Shane and Mindy Hil says think we're gonna have to close to holy
[00:44:46] hell close to 200 people at castle crash okay so if there's going to be 200 people there unless they've got some way of keeping the unless there's some way of having flight lines in different locations with like Earth in between them to block the RF I doubt
[00:45:11] that I'll get that many batteries but whatever it's fine I'm going to hang out and meet people and talk to people I'm not going there to fly I have done plenty of flying in the last eight years events for me are Hangouts and just talking to like-minded lunatics Jonathan Allen says vbat
[00:45:33] isn't exactly the same as the input from the ESC that's true but it's the safest way to start testing this because again the the little things coming off the back of the plug header are close enough together that you can very easily slip with the multimeter and bridge
[00:45:51] that positive and negative and that could potentially blow the ESC up so it's the safest way and it's where I would start to do where I would start the troubleshoot Walter says CIA Bellow I'm going to crash Bayer I think that means Walter's going
[00:46:08] to sleep thanks for hanging brother Jonathan Allen also says I blew out the vbat circuit on a flight controller yesterday and it was still receiving full Voltage there are usually filtering C circuits and those can blow I blew the blew out the vbat circuit on a flight controller yesterday was still still receiving full Voltage sure because you
[00:46:28] didn't blow the ESC up right and the ESC is still sending voltage up through the through the wires yep that makes sense all right we're caught up cool let's start farting around with stuff I don't really need to fly the tiny lifter you guys have seen me fly it before it doesn't really make sense it is specifically a tool to carry an insta
[00:46:48] 360 go-to without an in like there's just no reason to fly this around the house this cockroach 75 frame is also kind of fragile so I I really try not to fly this unless I'm carrying the insta 360 go right because why break the frame and need to replace it for getting analog footage from it so
[00:47:08] tiny tiny lifter will just come for funsies maybe I'll put the what I haven't I haven't put the insta 360 go up in the air in a while I will I will fly it on the tiny lifter that'll be fun it's such a cool little setup like the
[00:47:29] the the tiny lifter with the insta 360 go is like I've I've brought it my favorite thing to do with it is I've brought it to a couple of gigs with me and when I'm like when I have time when it's not just like a one hour like show
[00:47:47] up fly get the hell out of there when it's like a couple hours I'll just put this up and just kind of fart around and it keeps me busy it warms me up but it also gives me an idea of what the RF situation is like right this is on a
[00:48:04] tiny little built-in VTX not putting out much power with a tiny little antenna right and so if I can go like where I can go with this I can easily go with the cine whoops and then I get some cool insta 360 go footage from it which is fun for using for these live streams
[00:48:23] maybe making my own edit in like 15 years when I actually get caught up on the multiple terabytes of flight footage sitting on this hard drive so I I need to I need to fly this thing more it's great why I don't fly it a lot though is because it's fragile and because when I crash it
[00:48:42] hard it breaks the frame and when it breaks the frame it's like an hour of work taking all the motors off pulling everything out swapping it over so it doesn't get flown much because of that but that's silly I should fly it more it's a it's a very cool little rig and I spent a lot of time trying different things to get this
[00:49:02] flying right it's kind of insane that I don't fly it more so it'll be coming with me let's let's let me swap let me Swap this over to the frame with the the mega power 82.8 because it'll be nice to
[00:49:33] have like the most powerful analog 75mm build that you can really do on 1S because this is like a big spot right with like lots of trees and so this will be like the ideal analog I mean to be honest with with how durable these motors have been so far I
[00:49:55] think that these VC Motors are the best motors for an analog 75mm rig or 1S analog 75mm rig or if you're desperate for a WalkSnail 1S build and you just want as much power as you can get to hell with runtime these are definitely the motors for that
[00:50:20] these are basically the most powerful 1S 75mm rig Motors so if that's what you're looking for regardless of the camera system that's what these will do for you fair warning though if you load them down with an extra six grams from a WalkSnail setup you're not even going to get two-minute run
[00:50:43] times you're going to get like minute and 45 minute and 50c run times it's going to be an awesome minute and 45 seconds because it makes the most power out of any of these 1S Motors but still it's believe it or not they actually make more power than the
[00:51:01] 802 33000 mainly because the 802 3300s are asking too much RPM and they don't have enough Stater volume to back that up these are 0 82.8 and that point8 makes a huge difference think of it this way that is a
[00:51:27] that is like a 45ish per increase in Stater height and the Stater height is the main thing that does the work so it's not 45% more power but the the stator height does the majority of the work and it's 45% is
[00:51:45] more stator height well actually what here I'll show you I will show you that it makes more power because this is the point this is of the the ideas behind this testing that we did so you've got 802 33,000 and
[00:52:07] then you've got 82.8 27,000 and if you go over here to the 1610 1.6 in byblade you can see the the 802 33000 turned 52,000 RPM the VCI is turned 56,000 RPM that's a big difference and that is a loaded test
[00:52:29] where I'm holding the tiny whoop once it's in the air moving forward creating some incoming err to ease the burden on the motors those VCI Motors are going to spin up even ah what in open air it might actually
[00:52:46] benefit the 33,000 KV Motors more but still I've flown them both I've backto backed WalkSnail rigs on the VCI and walks no rigs on the 802 33000 and no questions asked the VCI Motors make more power it's just the stator size
[00:53:06] the the the additional height on the stator makes a really really big difference now that I say all that the 33,000 KV Motors they're not better for the WalkSnail rig but they might they might match these VCI Motors on an analog rig because it's lighter what what really kills the 802
[00:53:37] 33000 on the WalkSnail build is that it's got that extra six gram so it's really heavy it has to carry that weight all the time the 802 motor is significantly smaller so it's a smaller heat sink so it's got to carry all this extra weight and that's going to dump
[00:53:54] more heat into the motor and magnets when they get hot they don't work as well and so the 802s really seem to kind of saturate with heat on the WalkSnail builds the analog builds being Six GS lighter I bet you those 33,000 KV Motors
[00:54:11] don't overheat and they could give these VC a run for their money which which sort of makes me want to take the 33,000 off of this 65 rig that I built just for fun and put them onto here but I still want I want to
[00:54:30] continue to durability test these so the VCI Motors are only a 1 mm motor shaft the the HappyModel 0802 33000 if you're a lunatic you can buy a second set of tiny whoop or HappyModel Motors that have 1 and a half millim
[00:54:48] motor shafts and take the bells off and put the bells onto the 33,000 KV stator bases which is what I've done here and you can have an 0802 33,000 KV motor with a 1 half mm motor shaft these motors should be more
[00:55:05] durable than these VC but I've crashed these VC a bunch and these 1 mm motor shafts are not bending so and I've heard people say that the the the metal that HappyModel uses for their HappyModel motors with a 1 mm motor shaft I
[00:55:24] bend them but people have said that the metal that HappyModel uses is not as strong as some of these other companies once you go to a 1 and half mm motor shaft it kind of doesn't matter the how good or bad the metal is the motor shaft is so thick that it's fine and
[00:55:41] so I'm going to put these on this rig because I want to keep beating these to death to see when they death know what I'm saying so I think that these 0703 VCI 23,500 KV Motors are now for
[00:56:06] sale these are the motors that you want if you want a lightweight 75mm build with awesome response time a taller narrower motor has better response time because the magnets are pulled in it's the 2207 versus 2306 situ situation 2207 makes
[00:56:28] more power and has better response time because the magnets are in closer so that's it's like if you're if you're spinning around in your chair with your arms out you'll go slow but then when you pull your arms in you go faster right centrifugal for it's either centrifugal or cental I I forget
[00:56:44] which but you guys know that effect and so if you want to do like an analog lightweight 75 by blades these are great great you guys have seen me fly these a bunch I'm totally happy with them but I've got too many
[00:57:03] different setups and I need to pair things down so these are for sale message me if if you want them and they could be yours I've tested them a bunch and the motor shafts won't Bend I I although the the 703s I've made it a point not to crash a
[00:57:21] ton because I like they didn't like completely blow me away and I was like well there are other Motors that are that like have 1 and a 12 mm motor Shaft or are a higher KV that I know I'll I'll have builds with and so I was a
[00:57:39] little bit more gentle on them than the 802s the 802s I know that I've I'm going to keep so I've been pounding the out of them but I still like I haven't flown them that much I've probably only put like maybe 50 batteries through these 0802 point
[00:57:57] which I mean like that's a bunch but it's not that many and I've mainly been flying it in the front yard so the only crashes that are really hard are when I bang it into the driveway or the street or the roof or the side of the house and I've I've I've done that a bunch but
[00:58:18] like not not like taking it to Rampage and bouncing it off of metal over and over and over again in micro Mayhem like that's a whole different kind of test and that's what I want these things to be able to do I I I want to be
[00:58:36] able to just absolutely obliterate them and not think about it breaking why won't it's because it's in a meteor 75 frame you bastard I have to take these motors out of this Frame they won't fit in this Frame this this AI won't fit in this Frame God damn it I'll put it into this Frame over here
[00:59:05] I'll take these these These 703s are absolutely for sale because I'm about to take them off of this Frame so let me know if you want them I I was really happy with these motors and it was really cool to test a such a different stator size at 23,500 KV it really kind of to pull this
[00:59:29] sheet back up it really kind of clued us into where are they here they are so here's the 703 23,500 right so check this out if I compare these to the flywoo 102 23,500 look at
[00:59:51] this this is a 102 down here 49,000 RPM this is the 0703 49,500 the the 0703 is significantly lighter than the the 102 and it's making more actual RPM so that right there is like a really cool little piece of
[00:59:51] data comparing the the width versus height sort of argument and it's kind of showing us that the the the 102s need a higher KV they're they're wasted down at 23,500 KV because like if you look at the stator volumes of those two I'm
[00:59:51] pretty sure the 102 is going to be much bigger Stater volume oops look at the difference in Stater volume 102 is 157 millimet cubed the 0703 is only 115 millim cubed so the the 102 is a way bigger motor but it's just not a high enough KV the 0703 at 23,500 KV that's
[00:59:51] like a really good KV for that smaller motor and the motor is significantly lighter so these these VCI 703 23,500 kick the out of these flyws in the air because they're lighter the response time is better and they make a little bit more power actually is there a oh this is cool hold on
[00:59:51] let's compare him to an 802 this will be neat I don't think I have really looked at this oh my God look at them holy they really outperformed these BetaFPV 802s the the 802 only turned 46,000 RPM the 703s turned 49,500 that's a big difference
[00:59:51] so 073 is a really good motor it's just I want a little bit more power than what than than what they sort of produce but I'm a lunatic and some of you guys aren't so a bunch of people I'm sure would love them all right cool oh I got to watch
[00:59:51] this coilover video somebody put eight different brands of eBay coilovers on a shock dyo and I'm dying to see how bad some of them are Jonathan Allen said and we got that parkour guy says it does have vball vbat which is nice also
[00:59:51] I get perfect motor beeps and power there and my LED race wires light up that's all driven by the ESC no power to the VTX or receiver yep because those are being those rely on the 5volt back on the flight controller and this is after a shock hit I'm pretty sure
[00:59:51] it's the flight controller it certainly sounds like it I would say like 99 and a half% sure that the the 5volt back on the flight controller the bed so you can kind of bodge it and keep flying it without voltage in your OSD or you can just replace the damn thing SOS Death Valley says so what's a good setup for for WalkSnail build a
[00:59:51] lot of us do HD man I've talked about that an awful lot over the last like six months really it's 2S 2s is is really where a 75mm WalkSnail build shines I've not been all that happy with any of the 1S setups neither has
[00:59:51] gruss Tyler from rotor Riot and he's had like t-motor make them custom KVs of 102s and he's not been able to find a 1S setup that gets half decent runtime but also has enough power for like Freestyle basically if
[00:59:51] you build a 1S WalkSnail rig it is a little tiny cop and there's nothing wrong with that it's actually fun to fly if that's what your mindset is if your mindset is I want a freestyle Ripper that flies like my analog tiny whoops it's not that but it's got
[00:59:51] like this amazing WalkSnail video quality so it's fun to fly around as a cine whoop take it to the mall take it to Target take it to Walmart whatever and you can rip around the store and nobody's going to care cuz it's a little kids toy and you can get 1080 60 off of the the built-in DVR so
[00:59:51] basically the three best Motors are going to be the VCI 82.8 they're going to give you the most power but the least runtime the RC and Power 102 22000 are going to give you the most runtime but the least power and then somewhere in between is the BetaFPV 1102 22000
[00:59:51] those are the three best Motors the less power the more runtime and I did all that testing on 450mah batteries to try to keep the weight down because it's extra six grams of WalkSnail kind of sucks what am I doing I need to be working
[00:59:51] on this while I talk that was the whole point oh wait no I got to get these props off that's what I was screwing around with so there you go steady Eddie says castle crash almost complete hitting the the road at Jesus 5:30 a.m. that is rad you are
[00:59:51] a much earlier Riser than I am I'll be just going to sleep by that time I have I have apple of whoops on my bench getting the final touches right now as well I'm trying to think of what the spelling correction was a lot maybe did
[00:59:51] it correct a lot to Apple that's weird Curtis hay says can a quad wall ride better with air mode and anti-gravity turned off no wall rides are zero throttle so if you turn air mode off it will get it'll just move all over the
[00:59:51] damn place and so the footage will look terrible and it'll like it'll it'll just no you can't do it anti-gravity is is only going to do no you don't turn anti-gravity off it's has nothing to do with with anything anti-gravity keeps
[00:59:51] it from bobbling when you chop off the throttle so if you turn any gravity off when you go to do the when you go to do the wall ride it'll Bobble and so the footage will look stupid and it just it won't nothing good will come from that if you're having problems wall riding it's a it's a piloting thing
[00:59:51] it's hard to do you have to give you have to give the quad enough momentum towards the wall that when you so when you snap it on its side the right side or the left side depending on which direction you go but the the side that goes up is going to create a burst of thrust and that's going to push it a
[00:59:51] little bit in that direction yes the other side Motors are going to break down but they can't break as hard as the the motors spin up so when you snap it sideways it's going to create a little bit of thrust so you're going towards the wall if you don't go towards the wall with enough momentum you're just if you're just barely going towards the
[00:59:51] wall you're going to snap it up and it's never going to get to the wall you're never going to get to wall ride you're going to like wall a foot off of it
[00:59:51] so you got to send it towards the wall and then you're going to snap it like this and you want it once you snap it up like this you want it to still be going towards the wall so that you can use the throttle to very gently keep it perfect so you very gently ease into the throttle to get it nice and close to the wall and that and then you leave it
[00:59:51] there and then you chop the throttle and you leave it there and it'll it'll ride all the way down wall rides are like 99% pilot they might be 100% pilot I can't think of anything about a quad that would make it wall ride better than another it's hard to do but
[00:59:51] those are the keys to a good solid wall ride tiny shark FPV says flywoo 102 with the Mobula 7 V3 frame on 2S WalkSnail even with the BetaFPV spacers the 1608 props still graze the frame that sucks waiting from waiting for 1610 props to arrive 1608 oh the tri blades oh interesting
[00:59:51] I've never run mine with those with those Tri blades I guess they sit even lower maybe that I'm looking forward to I'm not going to have my 2S walks s build done well maybe I can get it back up in the air tomorrow where did that build go here it is I forgot all about that build
[00:59:51] maybe man I have a lot of work to do I got to I got to prioritize some stuff here to see what's what I will probably not have that at castle crash because I have I only have one working 5 in rig and it's more of like a 5 in kind
[00:59:51] of spot to fly it doesn't strike me as like a big 2S WalkSnail rig spot to fly so I don't know if I'll be able to get everything done tomorrow we'll see although I don't really have anything else to do tomorrow so I don't know maybe I'll get
[00:59:51] it done but I've never tried the oh what I was about to say is I'm really excited to get the 2S WalkSnail build onto the modified Mobula 7 V3 frame I'm sorry V4 frame
[00:59:51] I hope that it will be durable I've not had the best luck with these Mobula 7 V4 frames like they're okay but like like they're not overly durable but here's the thing the the part of the frame that I break is
[00:59:51] the part of the frame that you remove to put the 2S battery in there so it might actually be great but I've heard of people breaking the the the actual guards on this Frame and so I assume with the little bit of extra 2S weight
[00:59:51] and the extreme amount of additional 2S power and speed that I'll start breaking these things out here so we'll see I have High Hopes also the the mobo 7 V4 frame is lighter than the V3 frame so that'll be really cool that'll make up for some of the extra
[00:59:51] weight that that thing has picked up with the 2S setup so I'm really excited for that the the the Mobula 7 V3 frame it was okay but there's some things about it that really suck namely the the the the motor mount base
[00:59:51] is too deep which is what tiny shark is talking about doubles FPV just put 802 27,000 KV RC in power motors on a Mobula 7 and now the core temperature is running hotter indoors then I can generate air flow for default pids is there something I should be looking at either your AIO is on its way out or
[00:59:51] those Motors are just asking for too much basically like with 1.6 in props on those really high KV Motors it could just be asking for more than the the fets and the the ESC can kind of handle I'm gonna assume that
[00:59:51] you're on a an AIO that only has five amp fets although you did say Mobula 7 so maybe you're on an X12 I need to know that tag me again and tell mewhat's up Happy how are you dude tag me again and let me know what the AO is if you're on an
[00:59:51] X12 that's weird but I've heard that those Motors make a ton of power and so let's see an X12 has 12 amp fets they they should be able to handle that put fresh try putting fresh props on it maybe when you were taking the props on or putting them off you bent them up a little bit and you got
[00:59:51] some vibrations going on could be that that's interesting parkour guy got his xn Motors in today and says damn they're beautiful looking haven't been able to test because that's the rig that has the broken flight controller o FPV why are you so evil to all of us so much of the
[00:59:51] time type castle crash into the chat if you're going I don't think there's many of you guys going I think it's just a couple people right all right let's get these 82.8 swapped over to this Mobula 7v4 Frame Jesus it's 1120 already my
[00:59:51] god maybe I should table this and start flying RS actually no this won't take long the the hard part is done it's not Happy's goingon to be there steady EDD is going to be there CMYK I know Kevin su's he better be there one of the event organizers Shane
[00:59:51] and Mindy Hil gonna be there a bunch of people gonna be there awesome make sure that oh what am I saying no CMYK is not going to be there he's on the other side of the country make sure you guys all come see me I'm bringing stickers and stuff and you're welcome to grab a couple if
[00:59:51] you if you hang out in the chat here you're deserving of some free so come see me and mention it me mention like you said on the on the live stream that that we get free schwag because otherwise I'll
[00:59:51] forget because I'll just be like excitedly talking to you about what crack cocaine FPV is and what you're building and what you're flying and because that's what I do at these events I just ask people what they're building and what
[00:59:51] what they're working on and I subtly try to steal information from them about other things that break and don't break and plus I mean it's just it's just awesome to hear what people are are are building and get feedback from them and like it opens the door to like conversations where like oh I
[00:59:51] had a similar setup and it did this really well like I switched it over to something or other and it made the runtime better all right meteor 75 a frame being put aside mobula 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
[00:59:51] frame going on we're going props in so wait no here we go props in there it is 1B 674 says get in there that's not what he says he says what would be your ideal new stack for the grind arino I have a really hard time not just
[00:59:51] suggesting the Speedy be stack especially for micros because it's cheap it to in in for me it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to put like a hundred plus dollars worth of stack into a 3-in rig it's just like one of the one of the great things about micros is that they're less expensive than 5in rigs so
[00:59:51] like forever I've been trying to find the the cheapest possible half decent electronics for 3in rigs for a long time and to this day I toy with the idea of starting another Channel called budget FPV and I and frankly I can't believe that it doesn't exist and if one
[00:59:51] of you do it before me I'm going to kind of be pissed but that's one of the things for me and that Speedy B stack is just so cheap and it works people use it on 5-in Rigs and it doesn't blow up and that's insane and that means it'll be super reliable on a 3-in rig like you'll never
[00:59:51] have to worry about the ESC blowing up from asking too much or feeding it too much Power unless like you plug a 8s battery in or something stupid right so it's I I I not to mention that like I don't really know any of the other
[00:59:51] electronics because these companies keep discontinuing them after a couple of months and that's not enough time for me to like buy one and run a bunch of batteries through it so I've I've kind of given up on doing that I don't like run out and buy the I also kind of can't afford it but I don't like run
[00:59:51] out and buy the newest stack every single time they come out and quick put them in a rig and start battering the out of it's just not financially it just doesn't kind of work but man that Speedy B stack is is impressive and it's got Bluetooth
[00:59:51] built in you can like use Speedy be for free on your phone with it like that's insane that is really really cool that will that will come in handy for sure at some point and saving you one time
[00:59:51] like that's awesome so I don't know man that that stack is just so so cheap and I've I've kind of only really heard people say that it's great I don't think I've ever heard somebody say that it sucks and it blew up 14 times in the first five minutes that they tried it teleport FPV says I borrowed your
[00:59:51] mantra for the comments section here the other day that don't be a dick it works wonders thanks for the cool teleport is are are you saying that you were you were going to be a dick in the comments and then but then you decided not to and you just didn't leave a comment or you my favorite thing is to
[00:59:51] type a comment out and then delete it I've gotten pretty good at before I post anything just kind of thinking to myself like am I being a dick and if I am I just delete it and that's that because like occasionally I'll watch
[00:59:51] something on YouTube and for whatever reason like the person will piss me off and I'll start like just writing something mean for no reason and I've gotten to the point where I will oh I I I cannot remember the last time that I actually posted anything mean
[00:59:51] it's just there's just no reason for it's just like let that person live and you live and it's okay nothing good comes from you on someone they're not going to like just nothing good nothing good comes from it leave positive comments or
[00:59:51] leave no comments at all didn't your mama ever teach you if you didn't have anything nice to say don't say nothing at all that's the Mantra right there baby although I like will Wheaton's version of don't be a dick because don't be a dick you can apply to all parts of life
[00:59:51] which is also very important in all aspects of life just don't be a dick it's just it's there's just no reason for it like even when someone deserves it's not going to help you're not going to be a dick to the person that deserves it and they're going to be like
[00:59:51] you know what you're right I'm going to change myself and whatever and be better no they're going to get defensive and they're going to tell you to off and it's and a lot of times it's G to like backfire because they're going to be like no now I'm gonna be twice as mean to twice as many people so
[00:59:51] resist the urge boy is the urge strong sometimes though oh my God is it strong people be tripping these be tripping be tripping I'm tempted to put longer screws in this but it'll be fine I'm the other way that I've broken one of
[00:59:51] these Mobula 7 V4 frames is by ripping out one of the posts that the the canopy screws into but I was running a old school newbie drone canopy which only mounts to the front and the sides and so every time you you
[00:59:51] collide with something with the camera it rips it just puts all the weight into that front post so it that front post had every right in the world to rip off of that frame I've never run that canopy again and I've never run into that issue again and I don't think I ever will so there's
[00:59:51] that that's something that actually kind now that I think about it that's something that kind of worries me about this lightweight Mobula 6 canopy with
[00:59:51] the ass cut off because it's could have that same problem but I digress do I do I really digress parkour guy says broke the USB port off my big Speedy be stack the app makes it still usable oh my God that's true I've only broken One USB port off but like when that happens it's game over you're done unless it has
[00:59:51] Speedy be on board my God that is true dude that is awesome that that must have been a funny like wait I'm good kind of moment because I think you can do pretty much everything through the app you might not be able to update can you update the firmware through the app I bet you you can't if if you if you can update BetaFlight through there I
[00:59:51] bet you you can't update blue jay through there maybe though you never know all right here we go this guy is ready ready for bashings although what I now have these these motors on 5 amp fets and as we found out a little bit ago
[00:59:51] 5 amp fets aren't quite enough for these 82.8 so this thing is going to be a little bit down on power this will kind of be cool though because we'll be able to compare I'll fly this around a bunch on these on on this 2g4 with the
[00:59:51] 5 amp fets we'll take a look at like what the Max RPM at pulls in the air is and then when the new Spectre 10 amp AIO comes I'll swap it over and we'll see if we get a higher RPM so this will I mean we've we've we've already
[00:59:51] tested that but I you guys know I absolutely love retesting stuff so that'll be kind of cool to basically confirm that suspicion dendel says can't BetaFlight connect through Bluetooth it should if it doesn't I don't know I don't know how that works can can can you can
[00:59:51] you connect can you connect to the Speedy be flight controller from your desktop I assumed you could only connect to it through your phone because there's a speedy be app on the phone but I I don't know I I've not spent much time with Speedy be I've I've had a little
[00:59:51] Speedy I don't know what to call it dongle it's USB on one side and 4S on the other side because you got to give it power and so you plug it into the USB port on your flight controller and then you plug voltage into the Speedy be dongle thing and you launch the app on your phone and there it is I've only
[00:59:51] used it once i' I was I was on a gig actually it was actually in Los Cabos I think it might have been when I was in Mexico on that gig it was it was because it's when I I was troubleshooting this rig actually the high speed rig
[00:59:51] because the gyro was acting up and it came in super super super handy all right there it be the motors are probably spinning the wrong direction so let's get that fixed and then I'm going to fly a battery on this in the house
[00:59:51] which is just an awful idea but we're going to do it anyway because what's the Worst That Could Happen what a dumb thing to say out loud it's for the content though man it's for the content I'm I do it for the
[00:59:51] content God I hate YouTube motor 1 is correct motor 2 is correct motor 4 is correct motor 3 is also correct Happy Days Are Here at last I'll bet you the pit the the pit tune is absolutely railed on this because of the
[00:59:51] lower KV Motors so we're just going to back this off a touch I don't need this to be quite as high and we'll leave everything else alone that'll be fine all right let's give it a shot see how it be parkour guy says you can
[00:59:51] update BetaFlight but only BetaFlight man that's really impressive that you can upate BetaFlight I'm that that's wild good for them man Speedy be making movesoh come on come on get in
[00:59:51] there we're going to fly one of the newer 450s since this is a power Hungry Hippo okay I got to get other things ready to fly right that's how it works isn't it batteries
[00:59:51] off and there we go all right that and that you get out of the way LEDs you get over there okay cool I'm gonna run my OG fat sharks because I love them so much here we go friends mob this is just a I mean what this really is is an old
[00:59:51] school Mobula 6 moved over into a mobula 7 so this is an OG Mobula 6 moved over into a mobula 7 V4 frame with 82.8 mega chaos Motors Peak chaos Motors and it is on Els 3.0 switch modules with the new HQ 1.6 in ultral
[00:59:51] light by blades which these motors don't really need I I should maybe move this over to GemFan 1610s my god oh boy oh no I'm bringing the I'm bringing the Balsa plane with me to chase it there I'm bringing the Balsa plane oh no
[00:59:51] oh boy I forgot this was the problem with these motors on the 2g4 okay that was a total waste of time so this is what happens with 5 amp fets when you put Motors that ask for tons of power they just overheat this is the this is what somebody was
[00:59:51] talking about with the RC and power motors this is what they're doing the core temperature is just sitting up here and you'll see the core temperature go down when I relax and don't fly hard but then as soon as I start pushing hard you're going to see it go back up
[00:59:51] there's there's quite a bit of a delay on it keep that in mind although now it's coming down nice that's weird my God this thing see know now it's going back up now that I was actually flying hard so that's kind of how you can tell like if if you start flying hard and the temperature goes up and then you're using a
[00:59:51] bunch of Full Throttle and then you stop using Full Throttle a lot and it comes back down it's like well you're you're when you use Full Throttle you're asking for too much so this is kind of a sketchy setup right now because this is stressing this 2g4 to its absolute
[00:59:51] limits and a little bit beyond and so damn it I forgot about this I really don't want to blow up a 2g4 I mean they are sort of they're not totally unavailable but they're not like super
[00:59:51] available if that makes any sense so I'm gonna leave it there I I tough life Teddy you've got a tough life over there my man you got to like lay there and lay there and lay there some
[00:59:51] more and you got to like have your favorite toy there just sitting while you lay look at this dog look at this fuzzy bastard teleport says that whoop is a power monster you have no idea dude it's ridiculous cmk says I'll say that Speedy B has fantastic documentation too do they really that's awesome that's such like a little bonus it's so rare
[00:59:51] but man it's so nice when that just kind of happens for us man I forgot all about the the overheating thing I'm gonna take it out of here oh God is that annoying
[00:59:51] what happened to my ex12 why did the X12 have to die God damn it no I'm going to take it out of here I'm going to put this into another 75mm frame maybe the one with the 802 30,000 that's what I'll do those still make good power but not like
[00:59:51] world-ending power and so I'm G to leave these motors here for the time being and I'm just G to pull this canopy and camera and just drop it into another frame that takes like very little time what's really annoying is when that new when the the replacement hglrc Spectre comes I kind
[00:59:51] of want to take these motors back off of this frame and put them back onto the meteor 75 airf frame because it's a gram lighter but maybe I won't I won't do that yet I also had to modifi I modified that I forgot to show you guys this I
[00:59:51] modified that frame a bunch to get that Spectre AO to fit in the in the meteor 75 airframe I spent some time with a Dremel and that's so when that Spectre comes back I'll just run it on this Frame this Frame being the the since
[00:59:51] you can't see me since it's all about the dog right now the Mobula 7 V4 frame I'll just run it in there to make sure that it's good and then at some point I'll swap over tiny shark says how much do you motor limit down your 102 19,000 KV Motors on your 2S walks s builds I think
[00:59:51] I'm at like 80% but you should do like 70% first and just see how you like it that's probably G to be enough power I I was I was making a lot of power on mine why do I have oh no there we go that's why I was gonna say why do I have one just one
[00:59:51] extra rubber grommet it's CU it fell off of this and the other extra one is right here there it is all right hold on let me let me grab one of those other frames it's just sitting right back here
[00:59:51] [Laughter] that was for you guys hang on I've got a couple of frames stacked up here with what are you doing doggy what are you doing let me see if there's a more interesting frame that I can put that in
[00:59:51] this has 603 30,000 which are actually very interesting Motors this has 802 25s oh 603 30,000 these motors are super cool but the problem is they're prototype Motors and so you guys can't get
[00:59:51] them I'm going to put it on the the 802 30,000 that's the deal that's the deal yeah and that's this Frame here sorry sorry to take some time away from Teddy but there you go it's this Frame right here these are the look at this dog
[00:59:51] man have you ever seen a better looking dog than this if you say yes to that you're a monster and you're lying and you're lying you're a lying monster oh you're not a lying monster I mean maybe you are I I don't
[00:59:51] know it's up to you to decide come on get in there there we go all right cool so th this will be great these are 802 30,000 it's an old these these Staters are old dude I think these Staters are like two years old a long time ago tiny whoop did a 30,000 KV 802
[00:59:51] in red in their like onesie design and they were really good but they were a little heavy they made great power but they were a little heavy and I stopped using them for a long time but then
[00:59:51] recently I took a set and they only had 1 mm motor shaft so for a 75mm build they would bend and then a few months ago I took the bells off and then I took a fresh is set of purple igal bells and I put those on to the Stater
[00:59:51] so it's actually really cool because the Stater base is red and then the Bell is purple so it's like this Old School CiottiFPV logo motor and they're great they're really really good I I was really hoping that they would be better on the WalkSnail
[00:59:51] setups but 802s are just too small of a motor which makes a lot of sense like we've we've really done a good job optimizing motor sizes on Tiny whoops and what it's kind of boiling down to is that 65mm rigs are the lightest and they pair perfectly with
[00:59:51] 72s 1.6 in 75mm motoro motor analog rigs are like middle weight and they pair really well with 802s WalkSnail and HD zero builds are fat bastards and we're still trying to figure the motors out 102s work really well 803s kind of work but the Run time's a little low it's a little bit more of
[00:59:51] a struggle for the the digital rigs but we're we're getting it dialed in little by little so it really makes sense which Motors pair best with these rigs like from a from like a testing standpoint but also from like a logical standpoint of like the size of the motor
[00:59:51] right the the hiccup for the longest time has and it still is KV like we still don't have a 102 that's a high enough KV I I kind of think that maybe a 27,000 KV 102 could make the the 1S walks
[00:59:51] snail formula sort of work I I don't know maybe not Tyler gross from rori has tested that and hey wasn't happy with it but that's one motor manufacture maybe if HappyModel were to do it the motors would be more efficient and we could get the
[00:59:51] runtime back so I don't know it's interesting here's the nail in the coffin though of 1S 75 mil motor to motor WalkSnail rigs is that the 2S setup which is going to demolish inter terms of efficiency cuz you're doubling
[00:59:51] the voltage is only like 3 gram heavier and that's what makes the 550mah 1S batteries make no sense because they are actually heavier you end up with a 1S setup that's heavier than the 2S setup and so 2S is
[00:59:51] is really really really really the way to go for a 1.6 in propped digital build in my experience only with the beta sorry tiny whoop 2S 300 M battery though that's the only battery that's light enough tiny shark fpb with 500 a super chat with 500 I have absolutely no
[00:59:51] idea what that what that logo is I need to know though I'm dropping it into Google what is that that is a Philippine peso thank you brother he says thank you for answering our questions you're certainly welcome my friend thank you for asking good questions that deserve to be
[00:59:51] answered all right here we go with this guy so I'm gonna I I I figure I'm going to show you I'm also going to test to make sure that this AI is not on its way out motor 1 is correct motor 2 is correct motor 3 is
[00:59:51] correct motor 4 is correct man I so a while ago I figured out that HappyModel motors have a little I've always known this but I I realize which direction the Little Red Dot makes the motors spin and I've been putting on all of my frames recently the Red Dot
[00:59:51] the the motors with the the Red Dot on the connector on Motors 1 and four and what's really cool is now when I swap these can I don't have to change the prop Direction so I can hot swap a little bit quicker it doesn't save a lot of time right but it saves a little bit of time and when I'm testing this stuff I
[00:59:51] really try to reduce the amount of time between flying one setup and then flying the the second setup that I'm testing it really does matter and so that's pretty awesome that that is kind of worked out okay so this is the exact same
[00:59:51] rig but now on 80 to 30,000 KV Motors and I'll bet you that I no longer get that core temperature warning and what's really interesting about that is that this is a higher KV motor right this is a 30,000 KV motor it just had a 28 or 27,000
[00:59:51] KV motor what the hell is it's just had a 27,000 KV motor on it but the 27,000 KV motor is a much bigger stator and the much bigger stator will ask and receive more power and that was too much so let's see
[00:59:51] let's see if we get a core temperature warning with this we shouldn't significantly less power even even though these are 30,000 KV significantly significantly less power here yep see no ESC temperature warning Isn't that
[00:59:51] cool oh god wow how the hell did I save that jeez I can't believe I Center punched the that tiny little rod on the oh a lot less power also this is why I keep recommending the ow 80227 th000 KV Motors those
[00:59:51] 083s make way more power and they're only 27,000 KV so this this 30,000 I mean hand building this 30,000 KV 802 is ridiculous out of two sets of motors right anyway but still if it's for an
[00:59:51] 802 you don't really need you don't get much if anything by going Beyond 27,000 KV do you get a little bit yes you do get a tiny little bit more power going up to 30,000 and then you get a little tiny bit more up at 33,000 but
[00:59:51] man it is not much it is not much at all so now these smaller Motors need more pit gain to eat all the prop wash because it's a it's a smaller motor it's a motor that has less torque and less power so it can't oh boy so it can't change the the speed of the the
[00:59:51] propeller as quickly it can't spin the propeller up and break the propeller down as quickly hello little dog what would you like to tell me you look like you have something to say oh no go away core temperature warning why are you there it stayed away the entire
[00:59:51] battery it's gone again there we go so it's still we're still pushing the limits of a 5 amp fet but we're not pushing it what I'll bet so again this is another reason that those 27 27,000 KV 802s that
[00:59:51] was cool I didn't even really mean to do that I I went through the middle one and then back in and out the top one I o buddy the 20 the 802 27,000 wouldn't okay so the
[00:59:51] these 30,000 this custom built 30,000 is is not making quite enough extra power all right this is kind of a big discussion but if I can I'm going to try to break this down as simply as possible if you put a motor on that
[00:59:51] has too much extra KV yes you get a little bit more power but you don't the the basically this 802 doesn't have the Stater volume to spin these propellers high enough to get into like where like this sort of efficiency
[00:59:51] window and so essentially the the there's extra power going to these motors that's just getting turned into heat and the the so the 27,000 KV Motors wouldn't ask for that extra power and wouldn't convert that extra
[00:59:51] energy into heat this is where this is one of the one of the reasons that lower KV Motors are more efficient mainly they're more efficient because they make less less power but also because they're they're able to get closer to their like maximum rpm
[00:59:51] basically right it's like trying to Pedal your Hill your your bike up the hill in Top Gear it's really difficult you're putting all this effort in and you're like and you might not even make it right it's not a perfect one toone analogy but that's a that's a pretty good way of
[00:59:51] kind of thinking about it cool another one of these lavas thr these on here all right so there you go so this thing is good to go ready for ready for abuse endless endless ESS
[00:59:51] abuse this In fairness this is an old 2g4 that which is probably one of the reasons that it's because I've run 2 G4S with those Motors before and it's not popped the the ESC temperature warning next up is this funny little indestructible 65mm rig that has the Frankenstein
[00:59:51] one and a half millimeter shaft igal Bells but then the 0802 33,000 KV sters on them this thing should be totally fine this is also on a 2g4 you'll notice that this will not trigger the the core temperature warning it is on propellers that are a lot less
[00:59:51] draggy so these Motors are going to be able to really crank all the way up and get and they won't have that inefficiency of not being able to wind themselves all the way up teleport FPV says what you what what the whoops you usually you run
[00:59:51] usually on your streams are they all 1S yes other than the one 2S WalkSnail rig God damn it transmitter batter is just gone dead hold on parkour guy says I get a motor desync flag staying on my Mobula 6 OSD and one remoor refuses to spin what do I
[00:59:51] even begin to do to troubleshoot take that motor and another motor and swap them and see if that problem follows the motor or if it stays on the same ESC channel that is the very first thing that you want to do with any troubleshoot and that'll that'll cut the that'll cut the problem in half
[00:59:51] cuz now you're either dealing with a motor problem or an ESC problem if it's an ESC problem you probably have to replace that AIO unfortunately what did I come over here to get transmitter battery transm
[00:59:51] battery let's throw this one in that's awesome tiny shark whoop is the waywhoop is the way so I got my my favorite battery for this transmitter is like a little bit too big for the battery Bay and it is a to get the the bay door
[00:59:51] off when this battery is in here there we go it's a but it's the highest mAh battery that there is it's a genz 3800 all right putting in a 3500 gnb High volt there we go these are all qx7 specific batteries so
[00:59:51] doesn't really matter to probably anyone is anybody still using a qx7 or is it just me am I the only one in all of chat I know Tommy still runs one it's all that matters okay 8.6 volts that's much
[00:59:51] better here we go Ah that's not the right thing look at that dog look at him would you just look at him here we go 802 33,000 on GemFan 1208 Tri blades there he
[00:59:51] is oh God Horizon mode was on that was awkward wow oh that was that was brutal easy so this weighs almost what a 75 millim rig weighs but it's only a 65 and man that makes it feel heavy it's feels like a little bowling ball
[00:59:51] compared to the the 702 rigs it's still very flyable but this is heavy for a 65 although it's what's really funny is like this weighs what 6 all the 65s used to weigh oh God so it's actually not that
[00:59:51] heavy but these an 802 like this is not really needed on a 65 and you'll notice that it just massacres this battery I'll probably get less than two H I might get two minutes of R time with this battery W oh he we're back oh it
[00:59:51] reset the it reset the board oh no come back to life friend oh don't make me walk up there really you can't be a pal oh you jerk so that might be a battery cable problem Tedy get it for me
[00:59:51] I mean it did In fairness it did slap down pretty hard but still I mean if it's not a if it's not a battery plug problem then the AIO is on its way out so what I'll do when that starts happening is just give a little tug on
[00:59:51] the battery leads and also kind of take a look at them you could be in a situation where like the battery leads just have one single strand of wire still connected it's kind of hard to see but sometimes
[00:59:51] you'll be able to see it I can't tell but when I pull on the battery leads they look fine I don't know if it keeps happening what I'll do is desolder the power Le and either put a new one on or just resolder it down when you desolder the power lead you'll get to see if there's a bunch of the little inner strands of wire that are broken for now I'm just
[00:59:51] going to leave it I'm just going to leave it alone we flow it we discharge this battery down a little bit's totally fine skull 901 says
[00:59:51] power Loop Teddy I want to so bad how is this battery still at what okay now I plug the battery in it said 4.35 volts I'm like no that ain't right there we go the vifly was being a
[00:59:51] little weird actually oh it's the battery it's the battery look at that so I I moved the battery on the charger and it disconnected the the the BT 2.0 contacts on the battery must not be oh look at
[00:59:51] that that's totally it okay cool I'm going to throw this battery in the dumpster this battery can go to hell I'm going to put a big red x on it because that is that's just stupid there's just no reason to deal
[00:59:51] with that red X's that's just silly x x x x x there we go all right cool I will dispose of that properly tiny whoop has 1S dischargers they come with ph pH 2.0 but it's pretty easy to swap it over to BT 2.0 get yourself one
[00:59:51] one no reason not to have one I have two it thinks that this battery is already discharged or it's not making connection hold on let me see either it thinks that this battery is already discharged or the leads are
[00:59:51] the the connectors are really bad and they're not making contact but all right I take care of that tiny shark says not sure if you answered this already but if we have to motor limit down that far wouldn't RC
[00:59:51] and Power 102 14,000 or even flywoo 102 15,500 would be the ideal motors for two US walks now no because it's nice to have the the the ability to crank the motors up and the I'm limiting them down to like
[00:59:51] six 16,000 RPM the flyo 102 23,500 they only really perform like a 21,000 so I'm afraid that their 102 15,500 are only going to perform like a 14,000 or 13,000 and that's not quite enough KV so for me it's like 18,000 19,000 KV Motors and then just limit them down a little bit and then
[00:59:51] if if you need a little bit more power you can crank them up right whereas with a 14,000 or 15 ,500 you're going to be at 100% and that's it's going to be pretty good but for me I would rather have the 18 or the 19s and have that adjustability brand Anderson says super cool observation common problem
[00:59:51] with rigs during crashes I never thought it could be the battery I don't know if I've seen that either and what's funny is I almost said it out loud I almost said or it could be the battery but then I was it's not going to be the battery but then when I put it on the charger and I saw it drop I was like wait
[00:59:51] what it's when I like like it was plugged into the charger and I grabbed the base of the battery and just kind of did that and it and it just disconnected I'm like whoa hold on it was it was plugged all the way in so this little fella is going in
[00:59:51] the case just as like a this is more like a meme rig right at some point I'll pull those Motors off of there and or maybe not I don't know that thing is super interesting it's a super interesting build where it's like a
[00:59:51] heavyweight 65 and so it's good for it's good to like reset your expectations for the the weight to like size or whatever ratio I don't know it's fun to fly I'll leave it at that 702 36,000 KV Ultimate Freestyle tiny
[00:59:51] woop with the ort just wangled dangling out the top should be fine though this is a little bit of an older tattoo folded cell 1S 300 all right there we go Teddy spaghetti what
[00:59:51] in the world all right let's see here is this elrs 2.5 is every single rig going to bounce back and forth between 2.5 and 3.0 tonight the answer is no look at him he's just waiting for those props to spin he didn't do that when the props started spinning I had to touch the the roll a little
[00:59:51] bit whoa oh easy buddy all right buddy let me take off back up he says oh my God this thing th this is arguably my favorite rig okay all the KV all the power not much of the weight this thing is [Laughter]
[00:59:51] first try that is why this is my favorite rig man when I fly this when I fly this thing and I try big dumb stuff like a lot of times I'll just hit's oh I almost I almost did the the that's like the hardest move in this whole house at this point oh there
[00:59:51] it goes great this this AO might be on its way oh uhoh oh well all right hold on yay I was going to say I don't want to chop this plant all up so I was very gentle with Turtle mode Jesus oh God oh
[00:59:51] God we are flirting with we are in the vi of the dog bowl but we all right oh my god look how close it just just has so much power these 36,000 KV Motors are my favorites in terms of like they're they're sane but they're still kind of insane like the 40,000 are like certifiable they're just
[00:59:51] nuts you should have a set they're hysterical and you can just motor a limit them down but like these 36,000 you can run them at 100% And they're absolutely nutty and it's like kind of just right I'm going to see if I can get a
[00:59:51] little bit more there was a little hit of prop wash there let's see if we can push the tune a little bit farther it might these are awful powerful Motors it might not it might not but we'll give it a try nope this AIO is a little upset oh we're good
[00:59:51] cool whoa o that is a hard power Loop for the record it's a very tall power Loop oh come on now that was there oh God I tried to like really cheat that oh
[00:59:51] Teddy oh Teddy he's over there snorting and snarling oh god oh I almost got stuck in my hair oh man I am not used to Flying 65s I have flown so much 75 lately I've become like very I'm doing like everything very early like I'm adapting
[00:59:51] to how much slower the response time is on the 75mm rigs so I'm being like more aggressive and earlier on the sticks and on the 65s you just don't need to do that you can do everything at like the last second and since they don't weigh
[00:59:51] they're they're super Snappy and super reactive than all right cool so this guy's good to go it's there is a bit of a motor twitch issue but I mean that's just the aiio go and this is some of my 2 G4S are getting are getting a little old and there it is I was just doing it there
[00:59:51] let me see if I can get it to do it let me see if I can get it to figure out which motor it is it looks it's the right rear oh no it's the right front
[00:59:51] there it goes so every once in a while looks like every one and four not too bad yet but it'll get worse and worse and worse and then eventually it'll need to be retired teleport says I also do anal just what I it's the only way on to do proper freestyle with with tiny
[00:59:51] whoops the digital systems are just too heavy it's looking like at some point here we might get a an AIO with hd0 built in that but still apparently the the those rigs are are going to be like 20 gr dry which
[00:59:51] is significantly more than these analog rigs so still won't be the same it'll be way better though way way way better but not the same all right cool this guy is good to go and is now in the case next up I might actually sell this I'm
[00:59:51] thinking about selling this this is a bito with the t-motor 1S AO and then we bed FPV 072 32,500 with the GemFan 1219 s's this is an outdoor rig but just for the sake of argument put it up in the air I I'm going to bring it with me
[00:59:51] if if somebody offers me money there for it I will probably not come home with it because it's a working rig it's been sitting on my shelf as like a funny little basically Conversation Piece which is dumb like I I nobody comes over
[00:59:51] here anyway buddy this is not the one that you want to tangle with here go chase your toy I just I'm just not going to fly it I'm not going to fly this what's up off axis how the hell are you my friend but here you go babito
[00:59:51] inside the house what a terrible idea oh God so I'm like nervous to do anything with this so oh God so oh god oh Teddy back off Teddy Teddy spaghetti not the rig to tangle with my friend I I love you oh God this is hard to fly inside the
[00:59:51] house good God great example of the impact that the look at the battery the battery shifted forward a little bit the impact that the guards make in terms of Slidin right like the reason why do you notice how
[00:59:51] much more roll I have to put into this rig see that look how much roll I have to put to get this thing stopped it doesn't have that vertical surface of the duct to slow it down so it just slides all over the place it's also a lot heavier than
[00:59:51] the than the plastic the plastic tiny whoop builds oh god oh no oh my God the one thing that I shouldn't be doing with it oh now it's all noing oh God must have bang the props out of out of adjustment out of out of balance or
[00:59:51] something but if you want this thing offer me monies for it and it can be your it could be yours don't fly it inside the house it's not for that let me see if I bent these propellers all up they're not too bad it's a rattly little bastard in the carbon fiber frame too that's
[00:59:51] enough there's there's no reason to break something in here or Scuff the walls all up with this thing outdoor 1.2 inch rig it'll be it'll be significantly faster outside than a plastic whoop
[00:59:51] right because there's there's for the same reasons that it's not as good inside it's better outside so there you go I mean look at how adorable it is though look at look at this thing it's the cutest quad of all time and it's red and blue and white
[00:59:51] I don't know I don't like it but maybe you will 0702 32,000 KV rig on the the GemFan I'm sorry the HQ YOLO props the Tri blades ultr light Tri blades I'm going to run that same battery that we just had on that we'll run this battery the rest of the way down it's sitting at four volts
[00:59:51] all right here we go so this is taking a look at those tribades trib blades everything everything I've flown other than when he sits down I could die oh God this is now looking at a tiny whoop with tri blades
[00:59:51] instead of B blades all the other whoops I've flown were on by blades and you might notice that the the tri blades are a little bit more grippy they fly great I I'm like these props the GemFan 1219
[00:59:51] S's and the GemFan 1210 by blades like they're all so good and they have and they're all a little bit different and it's like really cool it's really really cool to have three super super high performance
[00:59:51] propeller options just knock everywhere so there you go this guy's good to go as well it's with the extra grip from these propellers it's easier to hit Gates Right like the shaneon mindale wants the Bido done make make me an offer at castle crash and it's all yours I'll bring it I was
[00:59:51] going to bring it anyway but making an offer it's whatever it's t-motor f411 AO we bed 0702 32,500 and then the Bido frame a super simple little whip antenna and then a BT 2.0 the all the racers run Tri
[00:59:51] blades for that reason so the it's this is almost like a cheater rig it's makes me fly sort of better than I am around here which is really cool but I still think I kind of like the by blades better because when
[00:59:51] you chop the throttle the by blades just sail when you jump off the throttle on this you don't get as much throw and so the by blades more closely mimic like a 5 in rig right which is what I'm trying to do with these things is is is get them to fly as closely to a 5 in as
[00:59:51] possible and so mainly for that reason I still keep going back to the to the by blades it's harder but it when the rig is harder to fly it makes you work harder as a pilot and last but not least this is the Mobula 6 2024 super duper ultra
[00:59:51] light this is the version one with no motor plugs and I've got it on the light AF frame this thing is 16.6 gram just stupidly lightweight and it's on since it's on the lower KV Motors this is the lowest KV rig that I'm going to fly here they're only 29,000 KV I have it on the most powerful propellers which are the
[00:59:51] GemFan 1219 S's and so make sure this guy's okay real quick what's up Apache smoke how are you dude and this has one of the emac Nano Hawk RunCam nano3 cameras which is why it's so bright and so contrasty there are like four different
[00:59:51] versions of the runcam Nano 3 it's kind of annoying but whatever we're all discontinued now anyway so back up buddy boy come on buddy back up just a little bit just back up a little bit oh boy he's close back up more you if you can see the fluff blowing in the in the wind and he's close
[00:59:51] buddy give me give me three feet Teddy Teddy back [Laughter] up he made this little snarl noise with this rig you can see this weird little bit of like jello that I don't understand I don't the the mulus I've I've heard other people with mobul
[00:59:51] 6 202 24s talk about this little bit of jello this one has it the one that I've moved to the Batwing camera mount does not I don't know why but it's not that bad the the Jell-O is not that bad on this
[00:59:51] rig and it's only at the middle point of the throttle so it never happens when you're just cruising so I just kind of ignore it I don't even know if you guys can see it in the in the Stream the the overwhelming part of
[00:59:51] this flight experience is how incredibly lightweight this is as I stack it into the door ah come on now get it out of there Teddy what if I could train the dog to gently pick these things up and bring them back to me can you imagine buddy what does he think like what does
[00:59:51] he think it is what I mean like what's going through that peanut Siz dog brain of his do you guys know that dog's brains are as big as a peanut well as small as a peanut I
[00:59:51] guess it this is just so so so lightweight I don't know if you guys can see it but boy oh boy can you feel it I tapped that gate and crash prevention finished that finished that roll for me that was kind of
[00:59:51] cool with these GemFan 129s propellers on these 802 29,000 or 28,000 make really good power uhoh oh no oh no this this shag rug is is lava for for 65mm rigs God damn
[00:59:51] it 75mm rigs just barely can take back off oh boy is that annoying come on buddy for come on Bo come on come on Jesus Christ I almost fell on the stairs oh boy it was all tangled up in that carpet
[00:59:51] yo jeez okay so I might need to pull the propellers off and get some fuzz out of this I'm not going to fly the rest of that battery there is an incredible amount of hair between the props and the motors man nothing was worse than brushed tiny whoops though the the hair would pick
[00:59:51] would collect between the motor shaft and the can and it would like slow the motor down immediately you had to like you would sometimes have to like clean hair out in the middle of a battery these these brushless motors they
[00:59:51] they the the hair accumulates down in the bottom and it doesn't really matter and then there's more hair that accumulates between the prop and the
[00:59:51] Bell but the Bell spins with the prop so it doesn't really matter until you get like a really big a really big Clump in there 3.88 it's close enough to being discharged cool good to go I think I got enough of that scum out
[00:59:51] so this this little four whoop case is good to go these are the this is the analog 65 mimet Fleet I probably don't need to bring this one so if there's one rig that stays it'll be this me bowling ball rig I'm going to call this one the bowling ball it's black
[00:59:51] like a bowling ball too so this is this is senior bowling ball from now on if you guys want me to fly it you have to ask for you have to ask for an appearance from senior bowling ball I don't know man your guys is as good as mine
[00:59:51] huzzah one case ready to go one case of whoops ready to go all right this is an interesting little one this is an iflight AIO that I have not plugged into BetaFlight yet Now's the Time let's see if it's set up let's see what's going on with it it'll certainly need to be bound that might be a pain
[00:59:51] but let's take a quick look this is a wacky iflight AO that has a daughter board up top pin which is the VTX that I've never used before so let's see here first off oh maybe I did bind it hold
[00:59:51] on maybe I did bind it let's let's take a quick look did I set this thing up there's I mean maybe maybe I set it up I see some of my numbers in here it's on T all right so that's on 3.0 let's try
[00:59:51] 2.5 maybe this is the one that I was struggling to bind oh my God it's 12:30 Jesus okay we're going to leave it there we're going to leave it there these 75mm rigs are outdoor builds this thing is not bound so I got some work to do I'll work on this tomorrow
[00:59:51] that's the major that's the indoor whoop Fleet there's also if I had enough time I was going to flash these two these are on slightly older versions of WalkSnail so I need to update these these are the WalkSnail 65s it's a pain in the ass to fly
[00:59:51] these on the stream because I got to hook up the the thing in the place and it's just a pain but I will be bringing these just for fun I might not fly them but whatever bring them for funsies if somebody wants to check out a WalkSnail 65 you'll be able to check them out let me get on let me get caught up on
[00:59:51] chat here and then we'll shut this down I didn't realize it was quite that late I knew it was after 12 but I didn't think it was a half an hour after 12
[00:59:51] that's a bit much okay we got some stuff done you guys got to see some of the some of the fleet hopefully this is a enjoyable live stream for you beautiful bastards if not go yourself
[00:59:51] parkour guy says what does the first number in the set of lq numbers mean I don't know the exact answer to that but the higher the better as that first number goes down it's there's less packets getting through basically so that F like when you first take off you want to look at that number and then
[00:59:51] as you fly around you're going to see that number go down don't let it go down too far I don't have a great understanding of lq other than the numbers go down and eventually it feel saves Co power says is that 4X tiny whoop holder a 3D print it is and
[00:59:51] it's made by custom FPV hey custom made me a set of them recently but you can get them with the tiny whoop branding from Tiny whoops website there's four different ones two of them for 65s this is the double there's a quad that I just showed you and then there's the same thing for 75s they are amazing
[00:59:51] quality and the the the print is really welld designed and custom custom FPV is just a really cool dude so if you have a logo that you want if you have like a simple one color maybe two-color logo that you want him to put on you can message him on Instagram custom FPV and he'll do it for you it cost a little bit more but as
[00:59:51] well it should because he spending a bunch of his time doing it for you or you can just go on Tiny whoop on order I highly recommend them they're really welld designed I love these doubles because this little slot here is perfect for save for putting some batteries in it the quad one has like a middle empty area that you could like dump batteries
[00:59:51] in but then they're going to be bouncing all over the place this is really cool cuz it'll keep the batteries in here so I really dig these things they're they're really well made custom FPV is his name really cool guy and I think I saw I forgot to give him a shout out
[00:59:51] he didn't tag me but Nightwing I think I saw Nightwing say that custom fpvs is roommate that's so cool Nightwing if you're still in here sorry for I I meant to give you a shout out but I I was doing something
[00:59:51] last comment of the live stream is is nope second to last comment of the live stream is Titan he says what camera do you recommend right now since the RunCam 3 doesn't seem available anymore I guess like the tiny whoop pinch although everybody kind of likes a different camera the the Newbie drone bi
[00:59:51] is really nice and it's really lightweight so I would say for Ultra lightweight newbie drone bi also that's a wide angle if you like wide angles it's not too wide but it's a little bit wider angle than other ones or the tiny woop pinch is also great I like the two of those
[00:59:51] parkour guy with the last comment of the live stream he says doesn't the VTX get in the way of the canopy if that's the blitz I couldn't figure out how to mount it but where there's a will there's a way my friend and the will is a pair of Flush Cutters away just cut the ass off your
[00:59:51] canopy and it pokes right through there and this is actually a somewhat interesting way to reduce the weight of the Mobula 6 canopy there's nothing wrong with doing this I don't think it might be hard on the front post of the frame but I bet you it's totally
[00:59:51] fine sorry it's out of focus but Logitech sucks a big bag of dicks so it totally gets in the way but I was meaning to I've been meeting to try one of these Mobula 6 canopies with the ass cut off for a while it saves about2 G which is not nothing but it's not that much
[00:59:51] this thing weighs I have I've have not weighed this yet this is on the HappyModel frame which will absolutely break but it was the motors that AO they were all in this Frame and I said what it's been a long time since I ran the HappyModel frame let's see how quickly it does break 18.5 gram not bad 18.5 gram and I guarant
[00:59:51] guarantee you this AIO VTX setup is heavier than the 2g4 the the HappyModel frame is light it's fragile but it's light at least so I'll get this figured out tomorrow I think thanks for hanging friends Apache smokes thanks thanks for coming by thanks for continuing to do amazing work with all the time stamps
[00:59:51] you're the man no stream Friday no stream Sunday I'll see you guys Monday night at 10 o'clock is that a giveaway stream it is giveaway stream Monday night at 10 o'clock make sure you're a patron make sure you're on the $5 or higher tier and you'll be
[00:59:51] entered to win the one of the four giveaways and then the last giveaway is Super Chat PayPal based so if you're a patron on the $5 up tier you could enter to win two different giveaways the giveaways are all between $50 and $100 worth of stuff so it's totally worth it
[00:59:51] I know it's a holiday Monday but I I work all holidays so it's all good thanks for hanging friends I'll see you Monday I'll see some of you at castle crash which will be super awesome make sure you come say hi and ask me for stickers you deserve it for putting up with me for two hours a night or
[00:59:51] tonight two hours and 40 minutes a night be good friends bye I'm not ready here's flying around the dog park again because it makes me laugh come on computer you got this here's other dogs being harassed with a tiny whoop love you bye
