[00:02:23] hey friends my name is Aaron Ciotti everybody calls me Ciotti welcome to Sunday Q&A but a very special Sunday Q&A we are going to be building the Ultimate hd0 ao5 Freestyle rig huge
[00:02:41] shout out to Kevin Sumer for ordering this setup while I was sleeping before it sold out very very cool we did a little bit of prep on Friday's live stream and I did a little bit
[00:02:57] more work yesterday and we're ready to go should be able to piece it the rest of the way together I didn't fully put it together because I wanted this live stream to be like a build live
[00:03:10] stream but I did a bunch of the tedious stuff namely I used a file to open up the Mobula 6 canopy a little bit so that the bigger the Mobula 6 canopy is designed for runcam Nano 3 which has a tiny
[00:03:27] little lens on it so you got to use a file to open this up a little bit to accept a camera with the bigger lenses I'm absolutely thrilled that this RunCam hd0 which camera is it this is
[00:03:42] the Eco camera has the holes in the corners that work with this canopy this is my favorite canopy it's very strong it's very lightweight and I seriously think that this canopy
[00:03:56] makes the frames a little bit more durable it connects to all four I can't flip this upside down cuz the screws are in it I can't flip this right side up because the screws are in it and the'll
[00:04:04] Fallout but when you mount this canopy on a tiny whoop frame it boxes the frame in and it prevents it from being as wobbly as it as it sort of could be I think it also protects the
[00:04:18] AO the camera sits up high enough where it never hits the AO so I've found this old school Mobula 6 canopy to really be the best in terms of mixing durability with lightweight and so
[00:04:32] that's what we're going to be using I don't think I'm going to be under 20 gram because of that canopy the builds that I've seen that are 19.8 19.9 gram are using hysterically lightweight canopies
[00:04:47] that in my opinion don't really provide enough protection for the way that I fly and for the durability that I want to get out of these rigs I don't like fixing these things so I would rather
[00:04:58] sacrifice a few a few ten of a gram to get more more durability out of them by the way the flying at the beginning of the live stream was this kind of thrown together rig this is basically an old
[00:05:11] school BetaFPV meteor 75 canopy camera VTX dropped on the newer air 75 frame and then it's got the the old school meteor 75 Cross style AIO the AIO that all the racers
[00:05:29] are using for analog again just kind of a thrown together rig oh most importantly HappyModel 0802 25,000 KV Motors and then the HQ ultr light 1.6 in by blades wild what you can
[00:05:48] the performance that we can get out of like kind of a thrown together rig right these motors are years old the these are the old school two-piece Bell 802 25s that used to come on Mobula 6es they are
[00:06:02] awesome on 75mm rigs with by blades either these HQ bblades or the GemFan 1610s they they they really come alive on the on the bigger props and this fre flies great almost 3
[00:06:18] minutes of runtime great power crappy little antenna to keep the weight down at some point in there I bumped it up to 200 Ms and that helped out quite a bit but if if if I keep this together
[00:06:31] the first change I'm going to make is putting a proper antenna on here because th this is a regular old school whip antenna that you've got 15 of floating around your house and then you pull
[00:06:42] the the shrink wrap off of it you use a soldering iron on the tip of the big silver metal ground plane thing and you can remove that ground plane and you end up with a 2 gram antenna which is
[00:06:56] awesome for like around the house but when you start flying it outside as you saw all it's not great but super super super lightweight and free so there you go really impressive
[00:07:07] little rig built with just like stuff that was basically lying around in the chat if you want to talk directly to me all you got to do is type CiottiFPV if you want to support
[00:07:19] the channel head on over to se fv.com and start clicking stuff my friends there's the streaming schedule I need to fix Monday night on there patreon as it says helps me the most you can jump
[00:07:29] on for as little as 10 cents a day youo that's only three bucks a month we do have a first Monday of the month coming up in a week and a day and the first Monday of every month I do a whole bunch
[00:07:42] of giveaways you can get in on the giveaways by jumping from the three to the $5 tier so now's a great time to do that before you forget $5 a month tier will enter you to win tiny whoop
[00:07:52] and toothpick Parts anywhere from $50 to $80 worth of stuff and then it goes up from there $10 a month tier is for 3-in micro blush list and cine whooop Parts $20 month tier is for 5 in Parts
[00:08:05] and then the $30 month dollar a day tier you'll get entered into all three of those giveaways when you win a giveaway you're usually getting between $50 and $100 worth of stuff and that
[00:08:15] kind of pays for your patreon subscription for a whole bunch of months depending on which tier you're on so help me keep doing this fulltime maybe win yourself some stuff hop on to to
[00:08:25] a tier the energy the giveaways you'll have a good time I promise Etsy has some fun stickers and hardware and lots lots more now I have added tons of stuff to the Etsy Channel lately and I'm
[00:08:37] adding all kinds of like lots more every couple of days so there's some full-blown builds that I've tune that I've like upgraded and tuned on here there's some random stuff that
[00:08:49] you might need there's some really fun stickers and then some like parts that might help you during builds a bunch of Hardware a bunch of random like hard to find kind of standoff screw
[00:09:00] packs all kinds of fun stuff in here support the people that make the content that you like to watch on YouTube and they'll keep making it and they'll do a better job making it because they'll
[00:09:09] have a couple extra bucks to buy more stuff to test that's how I do it at least over on Fiverr you can work one-on-one with me I've been flying for over eight years this has been my
[00:09:18] full-time gig for a little over three and a half years and I would love to share all that info with you in a one-on-one session I put all the info that I've got out here on the live
[00:09:29] streams but it takes an awful long time to sort through all of these search around watch hours and hours and hours to get all the good info in the ferr sessions half an hour or hour
[00:09:41] you Hammer Hammer me with all the questions that you've ever had and or I can walk you through some stuff I can walk you through how to fly better we jump in the simulator together this way
[00:09:51] I can spectate your sticks and give you live feedback and then you can spectate me if I need to show you something I can help you tune your rig better and explain
[00:10:00] the process of tuning as I'm doing it literally like we we work with one of your builds and get it tuned and during that tuning process I explain what all of this stuff is and I get you on like a
[00:10:11] little bit of a road map to how you tune this thing in the future tuning is not a oneandone kind of setup it is if you want to be aggressive with your tune I should say if you leave your tune
[00:10:23] stock you can pretty much just beat the hell out of it and eventually you'll need to replace Motors and props and whatnot but if you want to push the tune it becomes almost like a living thing
[00:10:34] you got to understand how to move that tune up and down as the props get beat up as the motors get beat up as the frame gets beats up beat up as you try different propellers as you try
[00:10:43] different Motors try different voltages stuff so it's I I equip you with an ability to adjust That Tune during that session so that ideally we do one or two tuning
[00:10:59] sessions and then I never hear from you again which is bad for business but good for you guys I I I love it when people actually understand how to tune because it's really not that hard
[00:11:11] nowadays and it's really nice to be able to shift that tune around and get it dialed in to like 90% perfect so that you've got a little bit of Headroom in case you smash it up on a in a spot
[00:11:23] that's like far away that maybe you can't get to and or if you really smash it up you could actually jump into the OSD and change the tune to get the thing home so lots of cool stuff
[00:11:34] going on there also build planning I've bought an awful lot of parts that are garbage and I try to talk about them as much as I can on the live streams but I don't want to just blast every single
[00:11:46] manufacturer every single live stream that would be a bit much so when we do a build planning session I talk to you a lot about like your goals and how you want to fly what you're doing with
[00:11:56] the footage I got all these questions that I ask you the answer to those questions dial me in on the exact right frame motor propeller voltage Mah all the good stuff so that you build a rig
[00:12:09] that specifically does what you want it to do that's why you're building a custom rig right like the only reason to build a custom rig is that it's going to perform better than the bind and flies
[00:12:22] and all of us are different we all have different wants and needs and so the chances that a BNF is going to be perfect for you are pretty slim which is why again A lot of
[00:12:33] people do custom builds but it's hard to learn that stuff it's hard to figure out which frame is perfect for you until you've tried a dozen different frames same goes for Motors and props
[00:12:46] and and all the good stuff so that process takes many years usually to get a rig that is perfectly built for you a bunch of us have been through that Insanity and we can help you get an
[00:12:59] awful lot closer on the first shot so that you're you're on like the second best frame for you rather than just like the frame that looked cool in the pictures or is by your favorite FPV
[00:13:13] pilot which may or may not be a good fit for you so lots of cool stuff going on in Fiverr you don't have to go through Fiverr their messenger kind of sucks if I'm honest you can just message
[00:13:24] me up on the top of the website I've got like my Instagram and email here here and there's probably a Facebook link somewhere you can just message me somewhere and be likeI want to do
[00:13:35] build planning or flight instruction or tuning or whatever it may be when can we schedule it and we'll just get it scheduled and you can PayPal me there's actually a button right here that'll
[00:13:46] drive you directly to PayPal with my info like pre-populated you can also do this if you want to do a super chat to support me but you don't want YouTube to take 30% of it you can use the PayPal
[00:13:56] button here do me a favor though in the chat if you do that in the chat tag me typee cfpv no spaces and then sayI just sent you a PayPal because you deserve a shout out if you support me
[00:14:08] I want you to I I want you to get a little shout out here in the Stream because it means an awful lot to me that that you guys have allowed me to do this fulltime and continue to Teespring
[00:14:17] has some fun shirts and other random apparel and then look at all these juicy beautiful affiliate links my friends affiliate links don't affect you in any way you can still get free shipping
[00:14:28] discounts whatever they just give us that create content that have driven you to that website a little bit of a thank you a little bit of a kickback so try to use an affiliate link every time you do
[00:14:39] an order on the internet most websites have affiliate programs try to find someone's affiliate link before you check out easiest thing to do to be really honest is to just change your
[00:14:49] bookmark links over to someone's affiliate links and that way when you click your bookmark you don't even have to think about it's automatically puts that person's affiliate code in your
[00:14:58] shopping cart and Away you go Amazon get FPV pyro drone race day quads newbie drone wee bed FPV BetaFPV fpv cycle oh my God brain 3D hd0 flywoo emac bang good and Camera butter also
[00:15:13] AliExpress those are the websites that I have affiliate links to if you don't use bookmarks and you just like start typing things into the URL bar here when you start typing like AMA
[00:15:23] for Amazon it'll suggest a link that you've clicked a bunch of times you can remove that suggestion there there like either right click it or there'll be a little X on the right side remove all of
[00:15:34] the current suggestions when you go to each one of these websites and then just hit my affiliate link or somebody's affiliate links a couple of times and that'll tell your browser when I
[00:15:43] type G I actually want to go to this affiliate link when I type pyr I actually want to go to this affiliate link when I type R A CE I actually want to go to this rate quads affiliate link
[00:15:53] that is the quickest and easiest way that you can support creators that are making stuff here on YouTube that you can watch for free you can also click thumbs up subscribe click the Bell thing
[00:16:04] bunch of different stuff or just hang out it all helps and it's all free for you to do to help those of us that are creating content I realized a couple of days ago I'm about to hit 10,000
[00:16:14] subscribers I don't really give much if any weight to subscriber counts I'll take I'll take 10 awesome subscribers that are super cool people that are answered certain
[00:16:29] questions in the chat being helpful being just awesome human beings over a thousand ship bags any day so I I don't really pay much attention if any to subscriber counts but
[00:16:42] apparently I'm supposed to and I'm supposed to say tell your friends to subscribe to my [@$#%] so I can get to 10,000 and have a bigger e dick so if you want to do that do whatever
[00:16:52] you want but what I care about is that we have an awesome Community hanging out in the live chat hanging out over my on my Discord Channel just pushing FPV in a positive direction
[00:17:05] figuring out the best motor prop combo for X Y or Z all up weight all that good stuff you guys that have been around a while know that so there you go my friend Zoe 101 that's
[00:17:16] how you support me Zoe 101 dog with the blog was first in chat FPV toast was next Troy pre-log Cloud Hopper Frank Nicholas Apache smoke wounded sniper Spaceman spiff bad Titan Alex two
[00:17:29] different people Alexander Lewis Hughes fre lojo ORF FPV rock crawler Adam Weston crom yamur steady Eddie Willie FPV who else is here rockworth Douglas 6 paully shortcuts Chuck P paully
[00:17:45] shortcuts with a $2 Super Chat thank you brother he says what's up buddy hanging out with my friends that's what's up paully shortcuts 16 bit FPV minty FPV crom rock crawler limits
[00:17:58] you YouTube just did the thing I'm not going to scroll back up I'm just going to call out the people that are on the bottom of the chat here Striker Robert Rosser and to my FPV Brandon's baked
[00:18:09] beans Paulie shortcuts zuga I got everybody other than the people that YouTube screwed by not H not having a chat that works properly Kev Brads with a 5 pound Super Chat thank
[00:18:26] you brother he says best analog tiny for he asks best tiny [@$#%] analog tiny whoop for beginners have everything else apart from whoop also could you recommend batteries for it to EU based
[00:18:37] I don't know anything I'm in Atlanta Georgia here in cheeseburger land I don't know anything in I don't know any retailers or what is and isn't available in the EU unfortunately but in my
[00:18:53] opinion first and foremost best is just doesn't work what's best for one person is is the worst for another person so best analog tiny wo for beginners doesn't really exist there's no best
[00:19:04] there's just different my suggestion for beginners though would be either I mean it kind of depends like if you're a total beginner like never touched FPV
[00:19:18] before you might want to go with like one of these kits that comes with like a little transmitter and a little cheap set of goggles just to kind of get you in the door I mean also like
[00:19:28] budget I have no idea do you want to spend a 100 bucks do you want to spend a th000 bucks it's super super super hard but if you want to just dip your toe into FPV there's a bunch of kits that
[00:19:40] you can get that are very inexpensive that will get you started if you have more money to spend you can get like a set of fat shark goggles used what's really cool about that is when you're
[00:19:54] done with them you'll probably be able to sell them for exactly what you paid for them transmitter I I would maybe suggest the same thing try to find a used transmitter Facebook Marketplace or eBay
[00:20:06] or something and then same kind of deal you're not going to take nearly as much of a hit if if you decide to bail or just move to a different transmitter transmitters are
[00:20:17] tough because like the specs don't matter pretty much all transmitters do the exact same thing there are very small differences but you won't notice those differences until you've been in
[00:20:26] the hobby for at least a year so with transmitters the the thing that really matters is how they fit your hands everybody's got different size hands different length Fingers and that's
[00:20:40] really the biggest thing for a transmitter I use an old old old school FR Sky qx7 because of the shape like I I have pretty long fingers and the shape of this transmitter is like wide enough and
[00:20:55] and big enough that it fits my hands perfectly and I can get the sticks into all four corners and it's comfy and I fly better with this you can't figure that out over the internet right like
[00:21:06] you got to best case scenario if you can find a group of FPV Pilots around you just show up and be likeI'm getting into it can I like fondle a bunch of your guys transmitters to see
[00:21:17] which ones fit my hands best and probably don't use the word fondle but if you don't use the word fondal they'll probably let you they might still if you use the word f depending on you know
[00:21:31] what kind of people they are but that's the biggest thing is to find one that's comfortable in your hands and that you can actually get your fingers to the four corners of
[00:21:42] and again that's really hard to tell on the internet and then in terms of the tiny whoop itself the BetaFPV air 65 I think is is my current top choice for if you don't want to upgrade if you
[00:21:57] want to just buy and fly it as it is this thing is brilliant if you want to upgrade down the road I like the Mobula 6 2024 better it's got motor plugs it's just just there's a bunch of
[00:22:13] things about it that make it a better design for if you plan on swapping Motors and maybe cameras and canopies and stuff in the future so those are two of the
[00:22:25] newest tiny whoops they both fly awesome out of the box the air 65 flies a little bit better out of the box but it has a little bit less runtime the Mobula 6 2024 is super easy to up to upgrade
[00:22:39] the motors like pull four plugs and then remove 12 screws and you can swap on a set of Motors that will outperform the air 65 the HappyModel Motors make more power and they're more
[00:22:53] efficient than the BetaFPV Motors unfortunately the motor that the Mobula 6 2024 comes with are lower have less power than the motors that the a65 comes with they are significantly more
[00:23:10] efficient but they don't make more power if you upgrade the the Mobula 6 2024 to like the tiny whoop 0702 32,000 KV Motors or even the 36,000 KV Motors those will be Motors that are more
[00:23:26] efficient and make more power than the air 65 and it's like a $40 investment in those Motors as long as Tiny whoop will ship to the EU I don't know if they will or won't tiny whoop is the only
[00:23:39] place that tiny whoop and Weeble Weeble has 32,500 KV 07 02s tiny whoop has 32,000 and 36,000 if one of those two will ship to the EU that is a very easy upgrade to the mbulo 6 2024 all that being
[00:23:58] said the amount of power that both of them have out of the box for a beginner is plenty but if you really fall in love with FPV and you start putting hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of
[00:24:10] batteries in you can get good enough flying inside to the point where more power does allow you to do more stuff and so for me I I'm a huge fan of the myo 6 2024 but man the air 65
[00:24:24] flies great right out of the box you just sacrifice a little bit of runtime the batteries are pretty cheap for these so sacrificing runtime is not the end of the world but there
[00:24:34] you go there's the full sort of picture of some of the best stuff and really how to get started in in FPV thank you for the support my man I appreciate the the Super Chat very
[00:24:45] much paully shortcuts thank you again for the Super Chat as well all right let me get caught up on chat here and then we're going to dive into this hd0 ao5 build
[00:24:59] I'm going to kind of rip through chat because I got a lot of work to do over here I've got to solder up the the battery lead get all the motors screwed in actually I'm going to start
[00:25:10] screwing the motors down while I work through the the chat comments well I'm going to screw a couple of screws in and then I'm going to get all obsessed with answering a question with my hands
[00:25:22] and then I'm going to remember that I was supposed to be doing this and then I will slow more than likely slow slowly be able to get this done but we'll get it done man I'm hoping to get the
[00:25:34] build all the way done bind hd0 up get it into BetaFlight dial a couple things in and then fly a bunch of batteries so we got I got my work cut out for me this live stream might go a
[00:25:46] little bit long but that's okay I have until I have two and a half hours until I like absolutely have to end the stream because Sunday night Maggie and I go to a coup's dance class at a
[00:26:02] local Brewery here speaking of the guy that runs those dance classes has parties every month that he invites all of the the dance class attendees to that like House Parties that
[00:26:19] Maggie and I haven't gone to yet and last night we decided to go to it and lot of pretty young crowd and I was pretty quickly we both were pretty Qui quickly reminded as to
[00:26:36] why we don't go to House parties it was I I mean as in in terms of House Parties it was a totally fine house party with cool people but I don't know it's just look I'm 43 Maggie's 46
[00:26:51] it's just not necessarily our scene for me it kind of never was I don't know I I I don't do the small talk thing I I'm a big talk kind of person and most of the folks that you meet that parties
[00:27:07] like that are not willing to do big talk and they just want to talk about safe things and I don't know that just kind of bores me but it was all right I I
[00:27:21] I got a St I have a stomach ache and the runs so Saturday night success but we saw a couple people but the other thing is it was a house party in downtown Atlanta and
[00:27:38] the a bunch of the other dance classes are there in that area so there weren't many people that like we really knew and neither Maggie or I or I are big like let's go meet 40 new people and
[00:27:53] make 40 new friends that like like I would rather have one or two really good friends than 40 vapid douche Rags that are just trying to use you and to further their real
[00:28:08] estate business or whatever and so just sort of not my scene but Maggie and I stayed out a couple of 40-year-olds stayed out past midnight on a Saturday night what do you think of
[00:28:21] that who's cool now I'm the cool guy Christ I think we were out past 1:00 cuz we stopped in an unbelievable Act of recklessness we stopped well first we stopped at a at a waffle house but
[00:28:37] luckily the employee we walked in the door and the employees looked at us like we were aliens and we're like can you guys please order take out we we're we're trying to clean up I was like I I
[00:28:51] thought you guys were all open 24 hours and then the they were just being weird and then I love Maggie so much she says to me like in in a little bit louder of a voice than is necessary to make sure
[00:29:05] that they heard it doesn't look like they want us here let's just go and I was like good call I love I love her so much it was just like it was just one of those moments where I'm like God damn you're
[00:29:20] the [@$#%] best so we we left Waffle House thank God because man my my stomach would be a thousand times worse if we'd eaten there but we still made a terrible decision you'll
[00:29:34] be happy to know and went to IHOP and I got chicken and waffles and Maggie got hash browns and English muffins like a like an actual adult and then I we went home and I laid
[00:29:48] down way too soon and woke up after a few hours with a horrible stomach ache and burning esophagus from all that disgusting Chicken and Waffles not settling in my
[00:29:59] stomach so that was my Saturday night how was yours look at me I got the motor screwed downthere's really nothing else I can do while I'm answering questions so let
[00:30:14] me rip through the chat if you've got a question that's burning a hole in your brain by all means ask it if you want to see this A5 build get done hold your question until tomorrow night or whoop
[00:30:26] Wednesday or something and we'll talk about it then tomorrow if as long as I can get this all done tonight tomorrow I'm going to have this BetaFPV 5 in one
[00:30:42] build this is basically the ultimate air 65 and we're going to compare it to a regular old air 65 this has 40,000 KV Motors and is under 17 G
[00:31:00] I don't know what's going to happen I I I'm AF I'm a little bit afraid that it's going to tear a wormhole through the Galaxy and it's going to which is then going to consume the Earth and
[00:31:14] everything on it but if that happens we had a good run it like all your troubles will disappear we'll get spaghettified and we'll all get spaghettified together and
[00:31:27] that's pretty good if I'm going to go I'm cool going through a black hole with with all my friends that that's we had just remember we had a
[00:31:40] good run all right Apache smoke wounded sniper tagged me and said what's up SE and all you beautiful gangly gang how are you all doing this fine Sunday shout out to
[00:31:50] Apache smoke wounded sniper for continuing to do the awesome job that he does with the time stamps in the the comments of all these live streams Rock nope limit says do you think
[00:32:03] this board could change your mind about hd0 no the issue for you is mainly weight right yes I mean maybe this build is going to be right at 20 grams 20 grams is pretty good but 20 gram is I know this
[00:32:25] sounds nuts but it is significantly heavier than 18 or 17 gram builds especially 16 gram builds and so this this board is awesome and lots of people will love this board
[00:32:42] and it's I I'm still absolutely blown away that it exists I I have no clue how they took two 25x 25 boards and put them on to one that's insane and are only charging $99 for it like the whole thing
[00:32:57] is is is outrageous to me but I know what 20 gram tiny whoops fly like and it's noticeably harder to fly and harder to nail tricks Rel like consistently versus 16 17 18 gram rigs
[00:33:20] and the the the analog rigs that we can build at 16 17 18 grams when you're flying them around the house the video quality looks pretty decent like there's minimal breakup the video
[00:33:36] quality looks fine for like look the the the the right amount of video quality is ba is heavily based on where you're flying if we were building these tiny whoops to go out and public and fly a
[00:33:53] 100 miles an hour better video quality would be really important so that we could see farther ahead and line up gaps earlier because we're going 100 Mil hour tiny whoops go about 15
[00:34:08] miles an hour so the analog video doesn't really matter as much because like the the actual benefit to you as a pilot from the better video is sort of Lost in the environment that we fly
[00:34:24] these tiny whoops the other kind of thing I mean if if you already have HD zero goggles and you don't have the module adapter and an analog module sure this aiio is going to
[00:34:38] be awesome For You In fairness the the module adapter is not that expensive and you can find a pretty cheap used receiver Facebook Marketplace and eBay and you can get your HD zero goggles to
[00:34:52] have analog for not a ton of money or you can buy a set of used fat sharks right like getting yourself into a set of a goggle setup that will work with analog is not that expensive and then
[00:35:07] the benefit is that you get to build and fly these 16 17 18 gram rigs I already have plenty of goggles that are analog I already have tons of analog stuff so for me personally hd0
[00:35:22] is a little bit better video quality but like do I really need that I mean maybe by the end of this live stream my mind will be changed and I'll be blown away hd0 is I believe a tiny little bit
[00:35:36] lower latency than analog although that does depend different analog cameras have different analog latencies so that that's a tough thing to kind of say it's a bit of a moving Target but
[00:35:48] here's the other thing the HD in my opinion not in my opinion it's just sort of the fact The Walk nail light setup the video quality is phenomenal I I just put up a
[00:36:03] drift edit from a couple of days ago where I cut back and forth at the beginning not back and forth I just I cut from a couple of shots with this DSLR actually I I have a second one of
[00:36:16] these Canon EOS Rebels this one is a T6 the other one that I have is a I forget what it is XS XSI it's right here all I have to do is look at it SL1 sorry SL1 they are very very
[00:36:33] similar these two dslrs proper DSLR big lens right you're looking at me right now it looks awesome you'd never know this is like a 10 plus year old digital SLR but I cut from a couple of
[00:36:45] shots that I got from a proper DSLR with a big old sensor to the WalkSnail light and it does not look much different at all I I actually had a somebody commented like how like did you
[00:36:59] change lenses how did you do like the first couple of shots to the to the Flying shots like they thought it was the same camera between the actual flying and the opening shots right
[00:37:09] the quality of WalkSnail is hysterically good and HD zero can't touch that and so if you're going for good quality video yes the WalkSnail setup is significantly heavier but there's no
[00:37:26] there's no comparison there there's no comparison between HD the quality of the video in these two systems and so again hd0 lands in this like Middle Ground which is not a bad thing it's
[00:37:39] just me personally I would rather either have really really really good quality video or be very very very lightweight for a lot of people though I think that middle ground is actually a a
[00:37:53] better fit right like most people aren't doing RC drift car edits and don't need that really high quality video with all that extra weight most people aren't flying quite as hard as I am and
[00:38:04] crashing quite as hard as I am to benefit from the the 16 17 18 gam builds with analog so I think for a lot of people that hd0 middle ground is where it's at and the the other super exciting
[00:38:20] thing is that maybe I think this board is going to allow people to actually settle on one video system a little bit more now with hd0 right hd0 works really well as your only video system
[00:38:38] they've got a great VTX with good output power for bigger builds they've got they can do crazy long range and then and now there's a build that is the most that is the lightest weight
[00:38:53] possible tiny whoop digital HD whatever you want to call call it setup so this board is phenomenal it's just I'm a weirdo I I I have very specific like all the way hot all the way cold kind of you
[00:39:12] know wants and needs and whatnot so the I will say though this build is going to stay together I am thrilled that I'm going to have a tiny whoop that works with these HD zero goggles to to
[00:39:27] actually use hd0 but I don't see myself doing really any other hd0 builds for a lot of the reasons that we just kind of talked about but we'll see I don't know it's might be
[00:39:41] cool at some point to snag one of their 20 X20 vtx's and throw it into a 5in rig and see what that's like maybe I'll wait for like the V2 of that 20 X20 brick that they sell
[00:39:56] or something but my my opinion of hd0 is sort of unchanged I I this is amazing that this board exists but I have as as a as a live streamer and a a
[00:40:15] professional pilot I have a very weird set of requirements that not many other people do so the fact that it might not be for me should not affect you in any way it's more than unlikely a
[00:40:29] great fit for you if you're watching this because you're probably not a live streaming professional FPV pilot and so there you go Walter says the drift video was
[00:40:42] really cool thank you brother I that edit was not super timec consuming but I have I had a good amount of time in that edit the the footage was good enough where I was willing to go down the
[00:40:53] rabbit hole and put 15 20 hours maybe into that edit and it turned out really good paully shortcut says you mess around with that 82mm cockroach by Newbie drone not yet I upgraded my
[00:41:07] hd75 and 1103 is so much better very cool I have some 2in tiny whoop stuff cooking give me a few weeks and we're going to dive down that rabbit hole limit says oh wait no we got that bad
[00:41:25] says that whoop setup is exactly the same as my daily driver though I have a micro V on mine perfect for playground ripping hell man very cool Willie FPV says first and most important
[00:41:36] question how are you I'm doing good man how about you Titan says which do you suggest Mobula 6 2024 or air 65 we talked about that a little bit ago Striker says wouldn't believe the difference
[00:41:49] between wouldn't believe the difference between the white Air 75 and the black Air 75s Ciotti no joke the air 75 white has been more durable than the Mobula 7 V4 and the air 75 black cracked ducts
[00:42:02] first battery air 75 interesting that I've not run into it with the air 75 frame but I did run into it with the light AF frame the Newbie drone black light AF frames
[00:42:22] two of them in a row broke on like the first or second batteries and then I switched to the White and the clear light AF frames and I haven't broken one yet so
[00:42:34] something I mean look plastic is clear and then if you want to change its color you have to add something to it pigment or Dye or something I don't know what they add to it that stuff that they add
[00:42:46] to it isn't as strong as plastic right so the the more color the weaker the frame is going to be black is the darkest color so in theory it's got the most pigment or Dy or whatever and so
[00:43:01] it kind of makes sense it's been something that that that's been talked about for many many years and now we're just starting to kind of see it's been talked about with propellers
[00:43:12] but like I don't know it's never quite pan I've never seen like an obvious enough example to with propellers to say it's true but in these tiny whoop frames
[00:43:24] we're we're getting to see it I think because these tiny whoop frames are getting so light that they're getting to the limit of like how fragile they can be and so little changes like the
[00:43:36] like like the the color Can potentially we can start to notice right ORF FPV says I live somewhere where I can't order drone parts what parts would you recommend I stock up on and how many
[00:43:49] before I go back home oh my god or if we could do an entire live stream on just that I I don't know how to I don't know how to answer that in less than two hours I also have no I
[00:44:05] me I mean one of the biggest problems with that question is we would have to talk about tiny whoop Parts 2 inch Parts 3 inch Parts three and a half inch parts 5 inch Parts
[00:44:15] 8 inch Parts 10 inch like that's such an open-ended question it's sorry brother I that's just that's too big of a discussion I mean I guess what you could do is is
[00:44:29] go to my channel and just start bouncing around live streams and just like look at my setups I talk about the parts that are in my setups quite a lot and look at some of the flight
[00:44:41] footage and just decide like I like the way that flies what parts and then fast forward to rewind and I'll talk about what parts are on it and you can get kind of a feel but
[00:44:51] that's a that's a gigantic question ster says so far the white one has has been completely fine over 30 batteries and the black is over 10 cracks in the first dozen batteries only
[00:45:05] E6000 holding it together it's unbelievable how well E6000 does holding tiny frames together Kev thanks again for the 5 pound Super Chat Walter says if I start at your link and I go to surf on
[00:45:20] AliExpress is it still for you yep when you click an affiliate link it puts that person's code in your shop shopping cart I if I I think that after a couple days the shopping carts wipe I know that
[00:45:34] most shopping carts WIP the wipe the products out after a couple days I would assume that it wipes the the affiliate links the creators code out as well I don't know but if you just
[00:45:46] replace your bookmark to a website you click that bookmark you add a bunch of stuff to your cart it'll still be in there zuga says man good luck with what you doing thank you brother
[00:45:56] f Luke says C FPV in chat YouTube just did the thing again scrolling back up there we go cisal FPV who I very awesomely got to meet at castle crash says I got the air five in one and so
[00:46:14] far so good it has reset when crashed but has come back and if it holds up it'll be great very cool I'm looking forward to Flying a sub 17 gram rig with 40,000 KV Motors tomorrow night we
[00:46:27] will see Striker says Tyrant has bashed his air air five and one pretty good I have high hopes for it I I've I've heard positives and negatives we'll see Striker says motor shaft issue
[00:46:45] because carbon fiber frame isn't really a problem on 1 and a half millimeter shafts that's true that's true a carbon fiber tiny whoop frame with motors that have one and a half mm
[00:46:57] shafts you would be able to get around the the the issues that that that that one issue that the carbon fiber frame causes right like extremely low durability from your
[00:47:12] motor shafts with the more popular carbon fiber frame there are still a whole host of other problems with it so I I still don't recommend it but get it for yourself
[00:47:25] you'll very quickly find all those s and come back to plastic frames bad says he's adding Kevin Brad's both tiny whoop and Weeble Shi to the UK but postage means you want to get a good
[00:47:40] order together first thank you bad for that I wasn't sure about that but there you go legs of Jimbo says perfectly timed shout on the affiliate links I'm taking the $900 plunge on
[00:47:51] HD zero tomorrow don't suppose you have any discount codes discount discount codes in FP TV don't really exist unfortunately the the margins are there there a number of years ago there was a
[00:48:05] an unbelievable race to the bottom between the the retailers in the FPV world that we've never really recovered from and so when these guys have affiliate programs they don't have that second
[00:48:22] layer setup where there's also a discount code for 10% off or whatever so I don't have any and I don't think I've ever really seen anyone with them every once in a while I'll see
[00:48:33] somebody I'll see like a content creator with like a DJI coupon code but I mean that's DJI right and that's ordering direct from their website I don't know of any real FPV discount
[00:48:45] codes other than around holidays you can combine though if you wait for the next holiday I don't know what that would be but and there is a discount code you can click someone's
[00:48:58] affiliate link and then use a discount code they are two totally separate things but thank you for that legs of Jimbo very cool I have a an HD zero discount code and then I also
[00:49:11] have like a get FPV they should also have the goggles I have a newbie drone affiliate code I would I would guess that they have the goggles as well I also have race day quads so between
[00:49:20] those four one of those guys should have the the goggles in stock I appreciate that man that's very cool of you Nightwing what's up homie he says you're the coolest thank you brother
[00:49:31] you're pretty cool as well you and you and custom FPV you're night get this get this friends Nightwing FPV and custom FPV are roommates is that not amazing I can't imagine having a roommate that's
[00:49:44] like also into FPV that must be [@$#%] scandalous and Nightwing FPV Works for tiny woop which is why his sort of one of his claims to fame U they're both super cool guys custom
[00:50:01] FPV makes the the really cool whoop cases that I've been using a lot that are just absolutely awesome some of the best print quality I've ever seen and if you message him on
[00:50:17] Instagram he'll even make you a custom one with your logo on it or like custom colors or whatever which is super awesome shout out to them too if you buy something from Tiny whoop and they ship
[00:50:34] you the wrong thing where it breaks you'll get to talk to Nightwing he handles the majority they're like customer service I think he I know he packages a bunch of stuff up
[00:50:44] too and I think I think on the most recent tiny whoop order I think I might have seen a sticker on it that said packaged by custom FPV so I I get the feeling that custom might be helping out
[00:50:54] around the the tiny whoop shop as well tiny whoop. which and I mean tiny whoop.com top to bottom just like sorry to everyone else but like just the coolest FPV
[00:51:09] shop that there's ever been Jesse is just like such a cool dude and then he's attracting other cool people to work with them and just the whole thing it's just awesome we bed
[00:51:25] FPV is also amazing zot is great but like tiny whoop.com is just this like super old school like got the whole tiny whoop thing started right like it started with Jesse Perkins and then
[00:51:38] he's just had this shop open forever and Jesse just has such a cool personality and he's just like a super funny guy that like the the whole website is just hysterical and there's
[00:51:49] like Easter eggs all over it and it's just the coolest thing man so massive shout out to Tiny whoop.com I think they've always been and probably will always be like my
[00:51:59] favorite of the FPV shops there's just like so much character and love poured into that website and the products that they sell are are are just awesome and there's crazy
[00:52:10] Innovation there's like so much whacky stuff on there it's just it's just so cool and then like Jesse does tons for the community puts on like tons of events he's an announcer all the time
[00:52:21] getting just hit in the face over and over again while he's trying to announce by by dirty Racers doing face punches it's just wild Kevin Jay with a $10 Super Chat thank you so much brother he
[00:52:35] says tip for using Glitch Mob song in your drift video they help me through through some hard times big time very cool Kevin Glitch Mob is Awesome music for FPV edits it's got
[00:52:49] like that it's still musical it's not like so electronic that it's just it's like actual music but then it's got electronic that fits with the fact that we're flying you know
[00:53:06] robots so I've been a fan of Glitch Mob for a while very cool Kevin thank you again Freel loer says did you hear about the swarm of black holes moving through the Milky Way I did
[00:53:18] not but if one of them swallows us up tonight it's been nice knowing you guys it's been my honor to help you build better tiny whoops and have some fun foa Panda says is it worth
[00:53:32] hey Fufu panda is be honest tag me and be honest does it do you laugh or do you cringe when I call you foa panda it's totally okay if you cringe I I I really want to know it if if it makes
[00:53:50] you cringe at all I'm going to stop it's all good but if it makes you laugh forever I will call you foa p and please tell me if if it makes you cringe it I don't care if everyone finds
[00:54:02] it funny if one person cringes and it's you it's unacceptable he says is it worth it getting oh a1's for a radio Master pocket with broken gimbals or should I save up for a box or Crush dude I am
[00:54:20] like the worst person to ask about transmitters this transmitter that I've used for the last eight not this exact one but I've used qx7s for the entire time that I've been into FPV I've
[00:54:31] tried loads of other transmitters none of them fit my hands right this is like a 15-year-old transmitter if not older than that and I've used this pretty much since day one no I have
[00:54:44] used it no no I guess the the first rig I had came with a terrible little transmitter but and so because none of the transmitters really fit my hands right I don't spend any
[00:54:55] actual time with them like if if I go out and fly and there's other people flying and there's a transmitter that I haven't groped before I'll be likecan I grab your
[00:55:05] sticks and fondle them for a little bit and usually they'll slowly kind of move away for me and I'll be like what you can't take a joke and then they'll be
[00:55:19] like it's not a joke so I've I've like held and grown roped and manhandled most of the transmitters and none of them fit my hands so I just don't pay attention
[00:55:34] to like like when there's a new review of a new transmitter I just don't watch it because I just I know it's not going to fit my hands and so I'm the worst person to ask Joshua Bardwell
[00:55:47] does a phenomenal job reviewing transmitters so hopefully he has a review on whatever the boxer is but I would just check YouTube for a bunch of reviews and you
[00:56:02] should be able to find them and hopefully you can get the the answer that that you're looking for or maybe somebody in the chat knows or or over on my Discord has some experience with
[00:56:09] it Max L YouTube just did the thing again we've got a bunch of work to do on the ao5 build I would love to get it done tuned flown today so if you can hold off until tomorrow night at 10
[00:56:24] PM's live stream or Wednesday I'm sorry tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. or Wednesday night at 10: p.m. live stream to ask your questions if it's if you have to ask it now it's totally fine I always do
[00:56:34] the Q&A first because that's the most value that I can give to all of you but I would love to get this build done here today Max L says thank you for airing at this time finally I can catch it
[00:56:49] question what is the highest 1 as 300 MH lipo resistance when you suggest to throw it away great question Max it's unfortunately it's a question that doesn't have an answer the
[00:57:03] internal resistance reporting on your charger is all over the place I've I've had four maybe five different Chargers over the last eight years and I've noticed this on every single one you you
[00:57:22] put a battery on there you charge it up you look at the internal resistance es when it's fully charged that's important because they change throughout the the charge cycle of the battery you look
[00:57:32] at the internal resistances when it's fully charged you write them down you discharge that battery or fly that battery you charge it back up the internal resistances are totally
[00:57:42] different sometimes they're close sometimes they're not close at all you run the battery down you do it again they're totally different you run the battery down you do it again they're
[00:57:51] totally different it is just all over the place I have tried to like slowly discharge the batteries I've tried running them down on quads I've tried every possible thing
[00:58:04] that I can do to get some consistency out of the the res the the resistance the internal resistance numbers on my Chargers over the years and it just never works my very first charger the
[00:58:21] the ELO B6 AC blue one that only reported internal resistances to like the whole number and that one wasn't that all over the place but every charger that I have I've
[00:58:38] had since then which have basically been toolkit RC and isdt they are wildly all over the place in the internal resistances and so they're just is no answer to that
[00:58:51] question here's how here's my actual answer to that question if you fully charge a battery you put it into a tiny whoop and you all right so do this next time you get a brand new battery or
[00:59:05] if you have some like really new batteries charge them all the way up put it right on the quad look plug it in put your goggles on look at the voltage take it off and hover it look at
[00:59:18] the voltage fly it around while you're flying it around look at the voltage remember that remember so you're going to charge it up to 4.35 you're going to plug it in on the ground you're going to
[00:59:31] look at the voltage it's not going to be 4.35 it's going to Sag down to 4.2 usually or 4.1 or 4.25 or whatever you're going to hover it's going to Sag even
[00:59:43] more that's your fresh battery fly it notice how it flies then take your beat up battery or just the rest of your batteries so so now you have your control now you have like best
[00:59:56] case scenario where those voltages are as your batteries get more beat up and the internal resistances get worse and worse and worse those voltages are going to be lower and it's about you like how how
[01:00:11] bad performance are you willing to suffer with basically is is the real question eventually these batteries will get to the point where like you take it off and hover it and even though
[01:00:23] it's fully charged it's going to Sag down to like 3.8 3.7 3.6 you start flying it even though the battery is fully charged it's going to Sag down to like 3.3
[01:00:34] 3.4 that's a battery that performs like [@$#%] and at that point I'll usually throw them away maybe hang on to it because that's now like kind of a long range battery right like it's
[01:00:46] going to Sag but if you just use a low throttle for the entire B like the the milliamps are in there it's just unable to deliver them fast enough for like Full Throttle blasts but like if
[01:00:59] you ever wanted to do like a long range tiny whoop Mission you could use those High internal resistance batteries you're not going to get quite the same long range run out of them as a
[01:01:09] fresh battery but they still have like some value right again like the milliamps are still going in there they just they won't they'll come out more slowly kind of like the batteries
[01:01:20] that long range guys fly right the the lithium ion batteries so there you you go that that that's the way to do it and it's all about when you get a fresh set of batteries pay
[01:01:32] attention to those voltages and pay attention to how they fly and then you get to decide for yourself like how bad is too bad eventually you'll put a battery onto a quad and you'll be like H
[01:01:46] this battery is going in the garbage like you'll notice it pretty quick like you'll Hammer the throttle and you'll get drastically less power than you expect you'll see like a low battery
[01:01:54] warning and you'll be like a [@$#%] this batter is just wrecked what I'll usually do is discharge it all the way down and then recharge it all the way back up just to make sure nothing weird happens
[01:02:04] but it's doesn't like that's that batter is it's time to go but give it a second try or maybe even a third great question dude death pilot that's a that's a YouTube name
[01:02:18] right there death pilot says what screws do you use on the WalkSnail builds for the VTX and where do you get them from I got a bag of a hundred of them from eBay at some point sooner than
[01:02:29] later they will be available over on my Etsy store they are M 1.2x 12 it is just long enough but not too long and they work perfect for it like I said they will be available on my Etsy store within the
[01:02:46] next week or so so bookmark CiottiFPV and check my Etsy store they'll be up there or just keep coming to the live streams and asking me that's totally fine the more you ask me like it won't
[01:02:58] piss me off if you come and ask me likedude you put those screws up on your Etsy store yet cuz it's doesn't take me that long to take the picture and type the whole thing out and
[01:03:08] sometimes I need a little bit of a kick in the ass I've got like 50 more things to put on the Etsy store on that coffee table those screws are towards the they should be towards the front of the
[01:03:21] pile let me let me just make sure sure though hold on but I mean if you go on Amazon you can get yourself a bag of 100 if if you want a whole bunch of them it's not expensive it's like five bucks
[01:03:39] but hang on let me just make absolutely sure there's a chance that the screws on the table over there are the M12 by by 10 which are not quite long enough hold on one more second
[01:03:59] okay now they should be over there they should be good I got a big pile of stuff so I can't really look over there right now but like I said though if they're not
[01:04:15] up there within the next like 3 4 days feel free to come on back and just bug me live stream schedule is down here or message me somewhere whatever matter of fact if you want to buy the
[01:04:27] screws death pilot just message me on Instagram or Discord or somewhere and just sayhow much for those screws do me a favor though jump over to my Etsy store and see if there's anything
[01:04:37] else that you want like a sticker or two or something help me keep doing this fulltime and get like a sticker and those screws and that would be awesome but message me
[01:04:50] somewhere and we'll just you can just PayPal me and then I'll just ship it out sh ship the screws out to you that way I don't God forbid it takes me a week to get them on the Etsy store this
[01:04:59] way I'll get them in your hands a little bit quicker FPV Luke says the way the affiliate links works is that it Alters your session cookie in the web browser this gets refreshed periodically but
[01:05:08] your archive session uses the same cookie for all browsing awesome cool FPV Luke how so if it if it wipes when these websites wipe the shopping card out it sounds like they won't wipe the
[01:05:23] the affiliate code out do you happen to know the answer to that I what I'm basically wondering is can I tell everyone to click all the affiliate links now and then that affiliate code
[01:05:34] is in that shopping cart forever until they check out basically I would assume no but I I don't know how computer things work I'm not a computer guy Walter says I never buy through
[01:05:48] shopping list Direct by never list Striker says any idea when Jesse is going to have 802s back in stock no clue whatsoever I don't get any any any inside info that I get that I can share with
[01:06:02] you guys I I share right away because otherwise I'll forget it typically I don't get any insight info especially on stock status that is super rare and if and if I get told
[01:06:16] that I can't share that with you I can't tell you anyway so but in this case I I I truly don't know Billa says what's up friends did you fly the hd0 AIO yet there's your
[01:06:29] answer legs of Jimbo says thanks for that best port best part is by ordering tomorrow it'll probably all Jesus it will probably arrive with me just before a crazy Black Friday deal or the launch
[01:06:43] of a V2 goggle agreed Nightwing says thank you so much bro you're certainly welcome dude well deserved strer says ever heard of an artist called Haley I'm incredible music for FPV I have not
[01:06:55] fua Panda says now you're good spat out my Sprite when I first heard that thank you for having a great sense of humor my friends if it ever does bother you don't feel bad about telling me to stop it's
[01:07:12] all good but it's just too good it's just too [@$#%] good it's so close it's so close to being oh why am I such a goddamn child L Never Grow Up friends never well I mean grow
[01:07:31] up in in certain ways but never grow all the way up I don't care how many gray hairies you've got take advantage of male privilege and be a child in in ways that are harmless
[01:07:48] lster says you're amazing I love your streams man the best I learned so much from you thanks for everything why can't I Super Chat is that my settings or did you remove it I thank you for
[01:07:58] the kind words that's amazing I have no idea I did not turn it off but YouTube is super weird sometimes maybe that's a good thing though if you have PayPal go over to C
[01:08:19] fpv.one to donate PayPal is a better option anyway but if you're dying to do a super chat a Google search or two why can't I Super Chat I'm sure there's a solution somewhere on the
[01:08:30] internet thanks again for the kind words man that's very very cool it is my pleasure Elias says any thoughts on the BetaFPV meteor 75 Pro HD WalkSnail I didn't even realize
[01:08:44] that they make that I do they really you're gonna wait here you're going to get a kick out of this so wow okay it's almost identical this is a fully custombuilt
[01:09:19] ons WalkSnail tiny whoop unbelievable all right so let's let's take a look at the meteor 75 Pro HD hold on where's the parts list I guess they don't give you an actual parts list I'll
[01:09:38] just okay so here you go so here here's a basic parts list F4 I this is not on purpose F4 1S 5 amp flight controller oh this one has hd0 but whatever Pretend This is the WalkSnail
[01:09:58] light WalkSnail light VTX and Camera meteor 75 Pro frame bt2.0 I don't run this battery but BT 2.0 550 MH battery I actually run the I run the the 450s because they're significantly
[01:10:33] lighter and then they don't have them here but 1102 BetaFPV 1102 22,000 KV Motors I have I have managed to this is the second time that I've done this I've managed to back into a bind and flow
[01:10:58] that pretty much already exists this rig is okay it's not good as a regular old 75mm non-pro WalkSnail rig basically the 75 Pro frame is way heavier than the regular 75mm frames
[01:11:20] so this build has a big extra chunk of weight added by this Frame and then a big extra chunk of weight added by the WalkSnail system and that is this has ended up being too heavy for 1S it
[01:11:35] cruises around totally fine the runtime is okay I guess but I have had this build so this tiny whoop builds are a central stack and then a frame with motors and props and so what I do to
[01:11:53] make testing Motors and props and Frames a lot easier is I buy a bunch of extra frames cuz they're cheap and I put Motors and props on them and then all I have to do is remove the the central
[01:12:07] stack and I can drop it in to different frames with different Motors and whatnot and that's what I did recently with this this this Central stack with WalkSnail has been in a
[01:12:21] bunch of 75mm frames and I was happier with its performance in those frames mainly because of weight the the for 1S we've really like reach the limits of what that low ass voltage
[01:12:37] can handle and essentially you're got you got to pick either have the extra weight of the WalkSnail system or have the extra weight of the 75 Pro frame if you do both of those you've gone too
[01:12:52] heavy if you do one or the other it actually f is awesome I've got a it's in the case back there but I've got a this frame motor propeller combo is going to get removed from here and put
[01:13:09] onto an analog Central stack and it's going to fly awesome that is the regular meteor 75 Pro and it flies great it flies shockingly good actually on these super lightweight HQ by blades but
[01:13:24] it saves six G because it's not WalkSnail this WalkSnail stack is going to go into a regular 75mm frame and it's going to fly better because it's going to save a bunch of weight from this 75
[01:13:36] Pro frame so that's what I think about it's fine for a cruiser but there's a real benefit in saving some weight the the WalkSnail system is awful heavy and 1 s we've pushed
[01:13:50] to its bitter limits even on BT 2.0 it's fun it's super funny that you that you ask that maybe they don't have a WalkSnail one maybe I'll just to make myself feel better I'll just assume that BetaFPV
[01:14:06] only makes an HD oh son of a [@$#%] it says it right here we'll just we'll pretend like this doesn't here there we go now I feel better see they only make it an HD zero I I didn't
[01:14:27] actually back into my build is a little bit different I have a lighter canopy I have the the the better propellers but that's it really my God is that
[01:14:44] annoying it sucks a big bag of dicks oh well Willie FPV says can you please tell them not to ask questions so you finish your build I've told them twice already for example here in the U EU it's
[01:15:01] 10:11 p.m. all the best to you I'm trying man I'm trying bad says each site has different length on how long an affiliate code cookie lasts interesting it'll normally say terms of service
[01:15:14] of the program Amazon is is it really only 24 hours those bastards Amazon is 24 hours but I've seen some sites do seven days okay cool thank you dude just Mo says how you doing
[01:15:26] brother do having motor plugs in a 65mm build affect flight characteristics dramatically I don't think so I've I've had builds that are with plugs and then I've removed the plugs and I
[01:15:42] don't I've never been able to tell the difference admittedly though I've not done it on like a 40,000 KV build but here's the thing I've done a bunch of 40,000 KV builds with motor plugs the
[01:15:55] runtime is fine the amount of power is absolutely outrageous I don't need more power I don't need more runtime on these WalkSnail builds it becomes a lot more realistic to do that
[01:16:11] because I do want more runtime on the WalkSnail builds but it's just such a pain in the ass to direct solder this stuff for me because I I change Motors so often so I really
[01:16:26] should grab a couple of these builds that I'm totally happy with and direct solder the motors for a little bit of extra efficiency a little bit more power but I
[01:16:40] haven't and I'm okay so I it's dramatically no but there is a difference the the plugs absolutely add resistance especially when they get older but using the plugs even older
[01:16:58] plugs even older Motors that I've plugged in a bunch of times older aios that have been plugged and unplugged during testing right like what you guys don't see when I'm not streaming is like
[01:17:09] lots and lots and lots of taking that Central stack out and dropping it into a different frame plugging in Motors flying it around unplugging Motors popping into a different frame plugging
[01:17:21] Motors unplugging Motors different frame plugging Motors unplugging Motors recently I've I've been lucky enough to have a couple folks donate some aios and some canopies and cameras
[01:17:34] which has allowed me to not do that quite as much and have do it if I have two I can do it half as often right but still I have Motors and aios that have been plugged and
[01:17:48] unplugged Way Beyond like the recommended service interval and they still fly totally fine if I then direct soldered those sure I would get a little bit more runtime and
[01:17:59] a little bit more power but it's not drastic to me the racers are all about it because they're racing they're they're seeing tenths of a second difference and that's for racing
[01:18:12] awesome for freestyle for fun it's not going to make or break anything and the plugs are so nice FV Luke says not forever no it's however long the site cookie is set to live for could be
[01:18:23] a day could be a week if they click link and order in a day or two they should be fine very cool Titan says is an 802 big enough for a 45 mm prop not really 802 is just barely big enough
[01:18:37] for the 1.6 in 40mm propellers I mean these the the the 45mm HQ ultral light is very light so it would be okay but you're you're a little bit over the limit there
[01:18:59] I'll say this most people probably wouldn't notice though so lster says PayPal just to say thanks thank you brother lster with a 321 I love it PayPal thank you brother he says
[01:19:13] thanks man much appreciated dude what email what did you just do don't delete that ah there we go oh y you ordered something that's only $5 on my Etsy store and it looks like you're in
[01:19:36] Germany the postage to Germany is going to be like between 20 and $30 a loan Etsy does not allow me to they don't have a good setup for overseas shipping so if you want to spend that
[01:19:52] much money on shipping we're going to have to do it through PayPal assuming that you're watching this live stream because you put well maybe not you put that order through before the live
[01:19:59] stream started if you're watching this live stream I'm going to be messaging you to try to figure it out I'll probably just end up canceling the order because shipping outside
[01:20:08] of shipping outside the US from inside the US used to be not that bad in the past couple of years it's gotten absolutely insane and so I'm very tempted to just completely turn off
[01:20:19] international shipping but sometimes people really need the thing that they're trying to order and they're willing to spend that money so I haven't yet but if
[01:20:29] you're watching this Ur I'll I'll be mess you messaging you on Etsy I appreciate you wanting to support me though and get that little adapter thing Titans no we got that left Elias
[01:20:44] says what would you say about the moite 7 WalkSnail compared to the meteor 75 Pro I'm going to assume I'm going I'm going to look it up I'm not going to assume hang on Mite 7 walks
[01:21:01] snail what AIO does it use if it uses the diamond AO then no it uses the superb I don't know much about the superb AO but if you can find some people saying that this the the
[01:21:16] that the superb AO that that BNF uses is durable and reliable then I would say go for it but I just I don't know anything about that AIO I I think I might have had one of
[01:21:31] those AOS at one point and it did not hold up all that well but look look for people that know that aiio I unfortunately do not Walter says by the way you got me into Lego also
[01:21:45] and I think I think the Lego we had like Tech Lego was was more nice this puzzles adult spoil everything Lego is fun man I'm caught up on chat all right here we go
[01:21:59] ao5 hd0 build I got enough time to get this build done no guarantees on tuning flying all that fun stuff but we're going to get this build done today for sure and then I will have
[01:22:17] some time tomorrow during the day to fly it almost certainly but let's get to work work damn it I've got to solder a couple of things and then we will be all set tiny whoop.com has these hold on I gotta
[01:22:34] get I gotta move a window real quick on my desktop here we go all right tiny whoop.com has these awesome little pcbs here that allow you to make a 180 degree BT
[01:22:51] 2.0 with these cool little LEDs on the back and I'm going to use one of those I have already soldered the BT 2.0 to the to the to the little PCB all I got to do is solder the wires on they
[01:23:06] give you the wires which is pretty awesome I have to take a quick look though at what color I want to do this in red this is going to be an all red build and hang on one
[01:23:20] second I got to just take a super quick little look here at one of the builds that I already did it on okay so the orange LEDs are pink and then the clear LEDs are red
[01:23:34] okay so this is pink and then this is red so this is the one that I want to use here here's basically what it does so as soon as you plug a battery in it gives you two nice bright LEDs that are going
[01:23:46] to be on the back of the rig there super cool one of the things I run into with these tiny whoops is they're so small that like when you you crash them they're really hard to find and having
[01:23:57] an LED that's bright on the back of them makes that quite a bit easier they're also very lightweight check this out well I'll just tell you this is the 180° bt2.0 that they give you
[01:24:15] with the ao5 stack this weighs 1.0 gram these wires and this little guy weigh 0.9 of a gram I think these wires are a little bit shorter just barely just barely shorter that's probably the difference in weight
[01:24:33] is the length of these wires but still that basically means that you're not there's no extra weight what I really like about this though and the reason that I'm going to use it instead of
[01:24:44] this which will actually save me time is that this PCB is easier to grip with your fies this little bit of shrink wrap here it will pop off eventually and then you've got like the
[01:24:59] bare leads and it's just annoying and having this like this it is hard sometimes to unplug this from the battery at the end of your battery when the battery is crying to be unplugged
[01:25:09] right so this little thing is just as much like form as it is function right form because it's got the cool bright LEDs but function because it literally makes it easier to unplug this
[01:25:24] from your batteries and I said sometimes these get really stuck onto onto the battery and just having this PCB be a little bit thicker than the BT 2.0 it just allows you to like dig your
[01:25:36] dig your fingers in really easily there and just pop it right out even when it's when it's super tight so I'm going to be buying a whole bunch of these and putting them on everything
[01:25:47] this is absolutely my new favorite BT 2.0 so let's get it going here we are going to and I'm going to be doing some stuff sort of like the quick way to try to get this done I
[01:26:07] do prefer stripping wires with just my fingernails but leaving a little indentation with flush cut pliers saves me a little bit of time so I in a rush and I will be doing that here
[01:26:25] today so this is not going to be the best soldering tutorial for you to watch on normal live streams when I'm not like in a hurry I will give you guys a lot more feedback and tips and
[01:26:37] tricks on soldering but for today I'm just going to kind of Blaze through a couple of things here and I did not get quite enough of this silicone off here
[01:26:54] come on is that enough yet nope come on now really what you doing Mickey Mouse [@$#%] are you running here that's a fairly thin PCB yep nope that's fine all right
[01:27:16] so just making sure that the the wires are all tight together cuz this does use through hole I'm just going to hang these off the edge of the desk here to Tin them real
[01:27:30] quick you're not going to be able to see it but again I'm cutting Corners to do stuff fast Ricardo asking about open IPC I don't know a thing about it I have not watched any content on open IPC so
[01:27:44] I'm about the worst guy to ask about it not too long ago Joshua did answer somebody's question about it and he basically said that it's like really early days for it and he's not
[01:27:59] willing to willing to like really dive into it quite yet that was a couple of months ago though basically like in the in the world of FPV like we see a lot of stuff pop up a lot of great ideas
[01:28:14] and then the enormity of the task sets in and whoever's doing it will just kind of like disappear that that's happened so many times over the year over the years and that's kind
[01:28:29] of what Joshua said it's too early I'm sick of learning a whole bunch of stuff about something and then getting all excited and then it disappears
[01:28:42] round is ground on BT 2.0 let me give you guys a little bit of a better view here there you go so round is ground easy way to remember which one is which let me actually do this and you
[01:28:57] guys might be able to see it if this doesn't Focus blame blame Logitech it's also because I've got stickers on the workbench but the stickers look cool man so screw
[01:29:18] you there was just a bird outside that sounded just like some of the blast in one of the Star Wars movies all right well this is not going to focus and that is not surprising round is
[01:29:35] ground I'm doing the not round one first here and I've got a little bit too much solder on here for that to go all the way through the through hole which is not the end of the world
[01:29:51] that solder will melt when I I put heat into the other side of this through hole so let me get this set like this and I just want to maintain some pressure on that so that when I put heat
[01:30:08] onto the other side of the through hole it will just go through basically all right hold on let me put the nerd goggles on for all this 30 gauge stuff I have to wear these it
[01:30:23] just being able to see what you're doing go figure you do much better quality work and I've had like better than 2020 Vision my entire life I don't think I do anymore the past bunch of
[01:30:41] years I've I've definitely noticed my vision getting a little bit worse but I had a good run and Maggie says I look good in glasses so someday I'll
[01:30:54] I'll go down that route but not yet so there you go as soon as I put heat on there it melted right through the solder is trying to come with the tip of the soldering iron which
[01:31:14] is basically telling you that you've burned all the flux off so we're going to add a little bit of flux I love these flux syringes they have like a paste style flux in them which stays where you
[01:31:26] put it highly highly highly recommend it so all I'm going to do here now is come in and do what's called reworking this I'm just going to reheat it there's a bunch of flux on there that's going to
[01:31:38] help with the heat transfer and that's going to prevent the the solder making that Hershey Kiss shape by chasing the tip of the soldering iron now that joint is damn
[01:31:49] near perfect nice and shiny nice and round [@$#%] you Logitech next up is our ground wire and I think this one has a little bit less solder on it yep so that one goes all
[01:32:06] the way through the through hole without needing to bring the heat in which is just going to make this job a little bit easier I'm going to preemptively add a little bit of flux
[01:32:17] here and then I've got my little reel of solder here sitting on the side what I do is I bring the tip of the soldering iron down onto this just to pick up a little bit of solder on the tip of the
[01:32:29] iron and then we will add that to the joint and away we shall go okay so tip of the soldering iron down onto the solder that's where the smoke is coming from and now we come in and
[01:32:50] just touch it to the wire being super careful care f smoke is the flux get off the pad and there we go since we still had that smoke we still had flux on the pad and so the joint
[01:33:06] that we got is nice and shiny nice and round that is now good to go there it is that's what you want your solder joints to look like the the big if they're not shiny it's not the end of
[01:33:19] the world you really want them to be smooth though solder joints that are not smooth that have like craters in them and just generally look like an 8-year-old did them that's not good
[01:33:31] that's potentially a cold solder joint which is essentially a weak solder joint which you do not want the the shininess is just a sign essentially that the joint is clean
[01:33:46] and that's not nearly as important as the joint being smooth you also don't want the joint to have like a big ball of so on it that's actually not as strong as you want it to be convex not
[01:33:59] concave if possible you can have a little bit of extra solder so it's just kind of straight but you don't want this massive ball of solder up on top sometimes what that means is that the
[01:34:09] solder did not seep down into the through holes and that's not a good thing so the next thing I'm going to attempt to do is put a little hit of shrimp wrap on here
[01:34:24] it's actually it's a we we've we've Americanized it we americanize a lot of things right we bastardize a lot of a lot of things from other countries and it's it's
[01:34:36] actually not it's our bastardization is to call it shrink wrap it's believe it or not it's actually it originated in Japan and it's actually called shrimp wrap
[01:34:49] and the the reason is that it was it was originally and the really good stuff is still made from the exoskeletons of shrimp like actual little shrimpies and that's where it came
[01:35:03] from and that's how you break it's a little known fact we we Americanized it we we couldn't call it shrimp wrap because cuz pea got on our asses actually and pea made a
[01:35:17] a big stink out of us using live shrimp to create our electrical [Laughter] insulation and they they they ra they this is a big big problem it was a big problem in the in the 80s actually it
[01:35:45] happened and a whole bunch of us in in in the early 80s we we got together and we we formed form Med the anti- shrimp shrimp wrap Alliance the a the the Assa wait no we were fighting for shrimp
[01:36:05] rap that doesn't work I got pretty far on that one I got pretty far that time next time I I'll get even farther with that farce oh Christ I cannot [@$#%] wait for the
[01:36:27] day that I get a comment like this dude doesn't know what the [@$#%] he's talking about trying to tell people that shrimp and shrimp rap like I can't wait for the person that has
[01:36:40] so little of a sense of humor Andor is just so angry at me that they so what what I was just do I I this is insane I I should be telling you what I'm doing cuz this is actually a
[01:36:58] really cool thing that like nobody knows about that this this shrimp wrap it's not big enough to go over here I don't have any bigger shrink wrap but sometimes you've got a situation where
[01:37:12] you need to shrink wrap something that's really thick next to something that's really thin and what you can can do is stretch shrink wrap out right now like I said I just I don't have a thicker piece
[01:37:30] of shrimp shrink wrap shrimp wrap to do this with so I'm just doing this out of necessity but yes sometimes it's really handy like so for example like the head of an antenna if you're trying
[01:37:41] to get shrimp wrap around the head of an antenna but you also want it to shrink down around the wire this would be a really good that's a really good use for this stretching shrink wrap out as
[01:37:53] you saw on the first piece that I tried to do it's very easy to tear it but you can usually stretch this they sell shrimp wrap in they rate shrimp wrap by how much it shrinks two to one and then
[01:38:08] there's also some stuff that's 3 to one by doing this I can make this like 4 to one sometimes even like five to one so it'll really shrink down I'm super super super pushing the limits here this
[01:38:22] is probably going to rip and a second but like I said I just I don't have any thicker stuff if you're going to do this make sure you cut the shrink wrap shrimp wrap sorry a little bit longer
[01:38:36] because when you stretch it like this it shortens what I mean like you're you're and then it doesn't really seem to lengthen back up after you shrink it back down and when
[01:38:47] so the other thing is when you do this when you apply heat to it's will shrink all the way [@$#%] it'll shrink all the way back down as if you've you've never done
[01:39:00] this balls this shrink wrap I'm doing this with like is really thin do I have I need to order ah here we go this stuff is so thick though I I thin stuff let me try it one more time one
[01:39:19] more time just one more try I've gotten this on I've done two of these so far so I know this can be done I just have to get it just right and let me show you the the extra little trick to doing
[01:39:36] it which is which you saw me doing it's to like rotate it around don't just so use thin is because the the shrimp wrap that that is on the the the metal it's not going to
[01:39:52] stretch just the part that's in between is going to stretch so what you want to do is stretch it a little bit and then turn it and then stretch it a little bit and
[01:40:03] then turn it and then you're also going to flip it because it's stretching it more on one side than the other so take it out and flip it and turn it stretch it and
[01:40:18] you'll see you'll see it Getting Thinner so you'll know where you need need to rotate it and whatnot and you'll get it you'll rip a bunch but you'd be all
[01:40:34] right this is so handy when you've got one situation where you've got something really big and then just wires next to it and you want to get the the shrimp down onto those
[01:40:51] wires I do this a lot with like I said the heads of antennas where I want to try to beef up the the connection point between the the head of the antenna and the wire in hopes that
[01:41:06] the you don't rip the head of the antenna off the wire basically I swear to God if somebody asks the question why not apply heat when you're stretching it
[01:41:22] out I'm going to end the stream and never live stream again if you're about to ask that just just think about it just think for one second there we go I got
[01:41:37] it also be quick it's like it tries to go back to its original shape pretty quickly so pull it off the pliers and get it right onto the thing that you're trying to
[01:41:51] do what I mean it tries to like return to home basically return to its home thickness oh [@$#%] what I have to do I forgot about this the the corners of these p these pcbs are
[01:42:10] really sharp if I don't do this real quick it will just rip through the shrink wrap I learned that yesterday just the tiniest little bit you just have to knock the the super
[01:42:22] sharp edges off just like this real quick forgot about that I learned that yesterday or the day before there we go that's all no big deal have I had something in my teeth
[01:42:40] this entire live stream all right so it's been sitting here and it's returned to its original size so I just got to pull it one more time real quick
[01:42:55] and now's when it'll rip all right let's try it y all right we good so there we have it and there we have it right there we go all right cool I still use a lighter because I'm
[01:43:28] Barbarian also because lighters are nice and small and they fit in the toolbox big old heat gun is just don't use it enough like if I was using if if I needed to do this a lot I would
[01:43:39] probably have a heat gun set up I have a heat gun out in the garage but it's like I don't do this often enough to Warrant a big old heat gun in here and there we have it nice little shrimp
[01:43:59] wrapped LED Bing Bong you can just plug a battery in real quick make sure you keep these leads apart to try it out and there it is we got our red
[01:44:11] LEDs now we're going to solder this up to the board this is a thick boy board so I'm going to need to limits 20 says get get some bigger shrimps from the
[01:44:28] fridge all right so let's figure out where the hell the power and ground solder up to there are there's a set of pads that are bigger and they're silk screened V and G that's
[01:44:42] almost certainly where voltage and ground are going to hook up to these are these really nice Edge pads which I really like I I can't think of the technical name for them at the moment I
[01:44:55] will in a minute and I'm just taking a look at how thick the board is because I only want to trim that much silicone off and then what they've got the what they do that
[01:45:15] for so th this USB port is going to be in the rear but then their voltage and ground pads are all the way over here on the side wait a second what but then they've got the that's awkward all right hold
[01:45:38] on I got to I got to see how I'm going to orient this so what I always like to do is put the USB port in the rear but I don't know if I'm going to do that on this one because
[01:45:53] in doing that nope I'm certainly not going to do that in doing that the motor plugs are going to be in the way of the battery so we can't put the USB port in the rear with this we've
[01:46:07] got to rotate it and have the USB port on the side this way the motor plugs are out here out of the way of the battery and so now the the placement of the power and voltage pack ads makes a lot
[01:46:24] more sense they're they're here so this is what we're going to put in the rear so we're going to run this the battery wires are the thickest wires in the build and wire is
[01:46:39] heavy so you always want your battery lead runs to be as short as possible the next thing that I'm thinking about is what this canopy is gonna possibly conflict with and it's going to be this
[01:46:57] plug header over here so I might need to I'm almost certainly going to need to clearance this canopy a little bit just on the side here which is super simple let's just come in here with
[01:47:10] Flush Cutters and just trim that little side part of the support no big deal it's still got plenty of plastic on the other side that should be hopefully enough let's take a quick
[01:47:31] look that's looking pretty good that should be just enough I might I'll take a little bit more off just who boy through the pliers I'm just going to take a little tiny bit more off
[01:47:46] here and there we go okay that should be all I need let me take a closer look at it though all right that should be good cool all right so that should be good to go there's going to be the power
[01:48:15] in the ground I am going to cut this down these leads are going to be too long short battery leads are a great way to save a little bit of weight it also prevents the battery leads from
[01:48:32] getting all janky and getting up into the props and [@$#%] so running your battery leads nice and short is is a real thing and here's how I do that I will test fit even better yet put the
[01:48:45] put the rubber grommets into the in the AO because they're going to give it an extra little bit of height and so throw the grommets in if you can if if it's one of the aios that it's
[01:48:59] hard to put the grommets in just cut the wires a little bit long but this is not one of those this is an easy one so five voltage and ground are here all right so this is the re now let me do it
[01:49:12] right the hooks in this case are going to be the rear of this in the rear of this Frame because I'm not using the the Batwing Mount that uses the hook this is going to be a freestyle build
[01:49:26] this is not a cinematic build I don't the the hd0 footage and mainly the way that hd0 breaks up just really doesn't work for like a cinematic type setting so this is a this is a freestyle
[01:49:40] rig right like the the benefits of hd0 are crazy low fixed latency not super high quality image and so it makes much more sense to use this as a freestyle build than some kind of a
[01:49:58] cinematic build this AIO is Big with these grommets on I'm having a hard time getting this thing into this onto the posts in this cockroach 65 V3 frame let me keep trying
[01:50:24] there we go I think I got it I got it there we go okay cool I mean speaking of let me just check the clearance on the outside of the frame now we're good we're good it
[01:50:36] clears the frame totally fine we are right okay cool so here's how you do it here's how you get your wire runs the perfect length take a battery throw a battery in
[01:50:49] there I know some of this stuff might seem kind of Pam antic and I'm a complete lunatic well I am a complete lunatic but this is how you do this perfectly if you want the best
[01:51:01] possible performing tiny whoop this is how you do that and it does make a difference especially if you're going to fly these things hard and crash them hard so voltage in the rear so we're
[01:51:12] going to run these up in the exact way that that we want them to run and we're just going to like do a dry test fit basically right so run the battery leads up and just leave the battery lead and
[01:51:25] then take your battery and put it in I want to take a look at what directionality so the flat part of the battery is towards me so put your battery in
[01:51:36] here push it all the way forward and then pull these leads up until the battery lead now here's the thing you don't want to pull them up until it's plugged in you got to
[01:51:51] remember that you have to be able to unplug this battery so that's where I pretty much want it because I I then need to plug it in if I keep pulling these things and I cut them so short
[01:52:02] it'll have to stay plugged in and you'll only be able to one run one battery so don't do that make sure that when you size when you shorten up these wires you have enough room also remember that the
[01:52:16] the plug needs to get out of the way right you you you need it to go so that the battery can slide out of out of there so that right about now is kind of the perfect
[01:52:29] amount and so now you've got these guys sticking up just take a look make sure power is where power needs to be and ground is where ground needs to be and you still do want to give yourself a
[01:52:40] little bit of extra slack but you got these sticking up now ground and voltage good and now you can just chop them down and I said give yourself a little bit extra
[01:52:52] and now your battery leads are pretty much the exact shortest that they can be and again that does make a difference these are the thickest wires in the build and so cutting them as short as
[01:53:05] possible is actually kind of important to getting the best performance out of these things also keep in mind that one of these pads is usually farther forward that wire does need to be a
[01:53:19] little bit longer in this case it's the ground pad that's farther away so the ground wire needs to be a little bit longer it is the tiniest little bit longer but I'm actually going to make
[01:53:34] that a tiny bit more drastic by just cutting a little bit more off of the the power lead here all right so there we go this looks really short there's a chance I cut this too short for for the
[01:53:52] record now you want to take your AO out because it's a nightmare to solder while it's still in the frame and you are going to end up melting the frame and needing to replace the frame so
[01:54:03] don't do that take it on out get your I'm actually going to use the Mass adhesive putty this time where are those two pads there they are all right so
[01:54:23] just push this aiio on into the putty here and all right we're good let's get these guys stripped tinned and we'll zap them on down I don't recommend that you pull the the silicone off with the the pliers
[01:54:53] like that but I'm being I'm really trying to hurry this along I have a funny feeling we're only going to get the build done here today but I'm going to try my best to
[01:55:06] get it bound up and in the air the tuning will be pretty quick the 40,000 KV 72s basically don't need tuning the motors oh excuse me the motors have so much power that the
[01:55:21] stock tune is almost perfect so we won't need to do a lot with tuning we'll take a look and see what gyro this AIO has and that'll tell us what we need to do about the
[01:55:36] filtering and then we'll be pretty good limits 20 says why didn't you solder Motors to the board you could have gained some weight with shorter motor wires and no plugs because I do
[01:55:50] a lot of testing and with direct soldered Motors life sucks also when I have a rig that's got direct soldered Motors I don't fly that rig hard because it's a total pain in the ass to pull the
[01:56:03] entire thing apart every single time you need to replace a motor this thing is going to be kind of heavier and so it is going to eat Motors and I plan on flying this hard
[01:56:19] because I want to see how durable this this AIO really is where those motor plugs go where's the silk screening oh it's on that the back side okay so voltage and ground are towards me I forgot to Tin
[01:56:34] these pads let me just take care of that real quick try to give you guys a little bit of a view of me tinning the pads or I'll just give you a big view of the workbench of Doom or the the
[01:56:49] machinist's toolbox of Doom right so to Tin the pads we're going to add solder on the outside here and then once we get enough heat that solder will flow to the entire PAD
[01:57:06] as it just did that was voltage Here Comes ground this ground pad is absorbing a lot of heat which makes sense we've run out of flux which is why that solder came out and chased the soldering
[01:57:27] iron so we are going to add a little bit of flux here I'll put some on both and then just super quick because I don't want too much solder on this joint I'm just going to hit
[01:57:42] this to remove that big extra chunk and there we go those pads are ready and so now we're just going to bring this guy on in and what do we got voltage on top ground on the
[01:57:57] bottom I should add a little bit more flux but in theory it didn't all just burn off we're going to do we're actually going to do the short wire first which is the voltage so let's get
[01:58:10] the ground wire out of the way I'm going to clean the tip of the soldering iron because I don't want to add any additional solder here can I get a channel says do these high K
[01:58:24] Motors even matter very much so they make significantly more power and for these heavy builds they really allow you to do like proper freestyle stuff they are brilliant and if you don't want the
[01:58:38] extra power you just motor limit them down a little bit all right here we go make sure that your wire is perfectly placed before you bring the heat in push the silicone up
[01:58:50] against the AO and stay nice and still when it's drying cooling whatever you want to say there's the voltage looks pretty good I'll I'll take a look with the 5x Loop in a second here
[01:59:05] which has better magnification just get this pushed down into the putty so that we can do the ground lead I might need to do this with tweezers but let me at least try to do it
[01:59:21] barehanded by creating that angle it's going to give me a little bit more space to work with here there we go I'm G to burn the [@$#%] out of my fingers on this
[01:59:40] but let's just do it it'll be fine a little bit of pain is worth the the glory getting that perfect solder joint all right so this is not this is not stable enough in the in the
[01:59:55] putty at the moment so let me fix that I'm going to dig a little channel in the in the putty here that I can push that into and then I can kind of pull the putty up
[02:00:09] next to it all right so there and then just push the putty to really hold this thing nice and solid there we go now it's nice and in there all right the so the the ground
[02:00:29] pad is going to be more difficult it always is and so let's get some extra flux on there and I'm just I'm paying more attention here and and
[02:00:46] really I'm going to make sure that this wire is perfectly placed before I bring the heat in that's the biggest trick to soldering is to one of the biggest I should say is to not try to use the tip
[02:00:57] of the soldering iron to move the wire around your left your off hand is what you want to use to move the wire around using tweezers here is going to not burn my
[02:01:13] fingers but with tweezers you're going to shake a little bit more so it's a little bit of a trade-off there but let's give this a shot I want this wire to be little bit down there we go all right
[02:01:30] so let's give this a shot here try to get it on the first go one of the reasons you don't want too much solder oh that is ugly as hell so I was a little bit slow on there I'm going to
[02:01:49] give this a second to cool off and then we're going to come back and rework it I forget what I was about to say I also want to create a little bit of a backwards Bend here because that's the
[02:02:01] direction that these wires are going so early on here I want to make that little backwards Bend that's actually kind of fine but there's an awful lot of solder on there the more solder you
[02:02:16] have on the joint the better chance it's going to Bridge with the joint right next to it and so I'm actually going to come back in the the placement of the wire is fine
[02:02:30] but there's too much solder on there so I'm just going to come in hold the wire exactly where it is hit's with some heat that's the tip of the soldering iron I'll pick up a bunch of
[02:02:40] this solder and then it should be just about right and actually I did not have the wire perfectly placed as I pushed down on that I felt that wire dropped down into the into the pad and you can see
[02:02:54] the tip of the iron picked up a nice blob of solder that was not there a second ago and now that is pretty much perfect there's a little tiny lip on the top here but everything is nice and
[02:03:12] smooth and so I'm going to leave that that is that is a strong solder joint I could hit's one more time and make it a little bit better looking of a solder joint but the more heat you put
[02:03:25] into these things the more other components can try to escape and do weird things so it's good to put as little heat as possible into these components that is a nice strong joint
[02:03:39] that's going to perform totally fine we will leave it there we going to be all right okay the other thing that we need to solder is the camera I'll go back to the Omni fixo for that I'm just trying to
[02:03:54] show you these are the two best best component holding things that I've got so I try to use them use one then the other then one then the other talk about the benefits of One Versus the other
[02:04:09] so on this we've got pads that are labeled C potentially that's camera P what the hell is p G for ground 5V 5V G for ground over on this side we've got s which might be signal T which is
[02:04:27] probably TX R which is probably RX the camera has 5V ground video probably V and then it's got this white wire which on the camera says menu
[02:04:48] so H what's P C for camera P for menu I got to look up the wiring diagram the the silk screening is not is not obvious enough and I'm not going to screw this thing up is there a QR
[02:05:10] code in the packaging here for the wiring diagram it's on the back there it is I see it okay I'm just going to do this on my phone super quick and I'll just tell you guys what the deal
[02:05:26] is come on Focus there we go hd.com and then come on on come on come on on accept great product ao5 okay come on product ao5 I hit's hit the button please VTX firmware don't care about
[02:05:51] that utilities reference design transmitter the website lets you hit these buttons but then nothing happens not great A5 okay there's apparently no wiring diagram there let's just try
[02:06:14] Google hd0 ao5 wiring images is that it nope that's not it let's come through here see if it's y that okay that's fine there better be a wiring diagram here we go okay great
[02:06:53] what do we got okay C is for video yellow P is for control white and then ground and 5vt great video why Y P P is for control which on the camera is menu why not M or oh I
[02:07:14] guess you couldn't do c for control cuz that's video very strange very strange naming that they've chosen but just out of curiosity oh s s is for LED strip and then T and R for the ur2 okay that makes
[02:07:28] sense okay so these are the four camera pads that makes sense yellow white black red okay cool all right here we go camera these wires I don't know if they're pre-end or
[02:07:52] not we're just going to Tin them real quick just to be sure okay don't do this over the AIO pull a little bit of solder out here and the idea behind tinning is that you
[02:08:10] put the tip of the soldering iron on one side of the wire and then you push the solder in from the other side of the wire what you're trying to do is push the solder into in between the
[02:08:22] strands of wire you're going to end up with a blob of solder on the tip of the soldering iron which is kind of nice and it's quick you're just trying to transfer a little bit of
[02:08:41] solder onto the tip of the wire sometimes they'll come from the factory with some like kind of dull ass solder that is leadfree solder in that case do do exactly what I just did and you'll
[02:08:53] mix some of the leaded solder that we buy with the lead free solder boy these pads are small okay so I'm going to tin these pads first so we got CP ground and 5 volt
[02:09:13] so to do that we shall bring the soldering iron at an angle and then we're going to push the solder up into the pads like this the Logitech camera might eventually
[02:09:29] Focus if not I apologize but there's not much I can do about it all right so we'll pick up a little bit of solder on the tip of the iron here and then put it on the pad and
[02:09:48] we're going to push the solder in from the outside and then pull off of there while there's still some smoke coming Bard let's just keep going have to rework that
[02:10:07] one I should have put flux on these pads solder has flux in its core in the core of the solder and sometimes that's enough sometimes it's not in this case it wasn't usually it's actually not quite
[02:10:26] enough but come in here add a little bit of flux there and then just really quickly hit each one of these pads with just the tip of the iron I'll clean that right
[02:10:42] up two three four so it's still kind of doing it on that one but now we're good to go go all right and so the camera is going to be on top so we're going to we're going to
[02:10:54] send the wires out the top which means that we want to put the work in a little bit of a different sort of position here what's up aelia what are you up to how's your day
[02:11:06] going little boo I can actually see that the solder didn't penetrate this one pad so let's just add a little bit more actually a time thing I'm it's the ground pad of course so the ground
[02:11:24] pad is sucking up a ton of the Heat and now we just got it all right now we're going to come in with the camera and separate the wires you don't want to get these wires
[02:11:34] all crossed over one another it looks terrible separate the wires out and so now what do we got we're going to have to cross some of the wires because the way the pads are
[02:11:44] laid out that's funny all right so we've got C for camera so that's the yellow so we're going to go bottom to top see for camera first here we
[02:11:56] go get it exactly where you want it and then just use the soldering iron to bring heat in push the silicone up against the pad and get out of there next we've got P which is the white for some weird reason
[02:12:14] and so now we have to start Crossing things over to do that with the tweezers pick it up with the tweezers and then push the wire down so that you can get it flat on the pad make
[02:12:28] a little angle in the wire and see I didn't grab it with the tip of the tweezers so I'm hitting the other wire right get that wire in the perfect position then come in with the heat
[02:12:53] silicone right up against the PCB onto the next grab with the tip of the tweezers make a little angle Teddy's running around like a maniac now this one's going to take
[02:13:15] longer because it's the ground pad so you got to be patient all right that's kind of ugly but it's tacked on there and now I'm going to add a little blob of solder and come back in
[02:13:31] and rework that the ground pads just be sometimes all right little bit of flux there and now here's a little trick since the we since we kind of tacked the wire on what we can do is just come up
[02:13:47] in here and grab all three of these that'll hold all the wire is perfectly still and then we can come in and now we can actually use the tip of the soldering iron to push this wire into
[02:13:58] the little Crescent on the outside here and there we go now it's perfect last one's going to be the voltage grab it with the tip of the tweezers bend the wire over so you can
[02:14:16] get it perfectly in the little slot and bring in the heat only once the wire is perfectly placed push the silicone up against the PCB there we
[02:14:40] go hopefully okay it was off the top of the screen the whole time well maybe you guys could see a little bit of that I tried my best to talk you through it now I'm going to put a little bit of an
[02:14:51] angle on these pads just push them down so that they're kind of flat against the AIO don't push them hard just a little bit there and now we're good to go all right so we've got the camera
[02:15:03] lined up we are going to take this elrs antenna and we're going to stand it up antennas don't work well when they're flat against big panels of copper so we're going to stand that up and we're
[02:15:17] going to run it up through the the canopy but first we need to figure out which direction everything's going in I'm actually going to spin this a little bit here hold on let me give you guys
[02:15:28] the overhead and so these these wires are probably a little bit too long which is fine we'll put a couple quick turns in them and then I'm going to send this elrs antenna
[02:15:44] up the front of the camera like this and that'll have it totally protected inside the canopy we're going to have to put a little bit of an angle on it that's
[02:15:59] okay just kind of rounding it off a little bit here so we can send it up and then tuck it over the top of the actual camera there come on come on little buddy get up in
[02:16:18] there there it is come on dog is breathing heavy in the background ah come on get up in there one of the other really nice things about this old school Mulo 6 canopy is you can tuck antennas up
[02:16:41] into it and it keeps them nice and protected take a little bit of angle out of this not for a while little boo why you you want to go somewhere
[02:16:58] where where oh man I told you we were going to go to Hmart this weekend didn't I we might need to go tomorrow little boo when you get home from school how's that sound deal all right
[02:17:18] cool right that's looking pretty damn good yep that's up in there let me show you guys So the antenna goes up and then it goes kind of there you can see it and then I just had to put a little angle on
[02:17:36] the top of it see that so it clears the top so that antenna is now vertical so it's going to work really well but it's protected inside the canopy cool oh I forgot all about the the video
[02:17:48] antenna all right so we'll do that next video antenna here this is a fulllength whip antenna that I took the ground Plane off of to make it nice and lightweight it's full length so it's
[02:17:58] going to work a little bit better than the one that they give you which is a little bit shorter the active element length is the most important part but the total length of the
[02:18:09] antenna actually does matter and so this one is going to perform a little bit better because this is the the correct total antenna length so what I'm going to do is I'm going to run this up
[02:18:21] up and out the top of the canopy here and want get in there all right run it out I like using that middle hole there and then let's see if we can get this snapped down I might have to pull
[02:18:42] this canopy back off to get this to get the angle on this thing I might be able to get it sometimes I can just kind of sneak it in there all right let's
[02:18:56] see I don't see a button on this aiio how the hell am I going to bind this to the goggles oh I guess you don't bind it you just set the channel that's right I'm gonna have to have a VTX table aren't I
[02:19:10] oh no it's going to have it on there it should be set there we go all right cool damn that LS antenna ended up falling out okay so hold on let's get that back in there
[02:19:25] okay good good good good got it all right so there's our stack with the USB very weirdly on the side I don't love that but it's fine okay so where' those grommets go oh
[02:19:41] they stuck in the frame okay all right here we go let's get these grommets out of the frame into AO these are the ones that it came with I'm actually going to change
[02:19:58] these grommets the the slot in these grommets is a little bit too thin this is a really thick aiio BetaFPV has a grommet set with three different colored grommets clear black and blue
[02:20:12] they all have a different thickness slot in the for the for the thickness of the PC and I'm going to use ones that have the thicker slot which is these clear ones yep that fits much better on
[02:20:39] there cool now I have less of a problem with these grommets popping out when I take this AO in and out of the frame there could maybe be a little bit better performance with the grommets that fit
[02:20:56] better I mean technically it could perform worse this way I doubt it but I don't know if we if if I was a blackbox guy I would go down the rabbit hole testing a bunch of these different
[02:21:12] grommets to see if they make a difference because they're probably making these out of different rubbers they're they're different thick NES they're different the the slots are
[02:21:23] different in them luckily I'm not a blackbox guy so I won't do that insane level of Insanity all right see if I can get this down on the frame in the first shot well I've
[02:21:44] already knocked one of the grommets off we're not to a great start I've already knocked two of the grommets off okay All Is Lost canopy popped out I'm GNA have to R route that antenna
[02:21:55] again all right oh I got to get the rest of these out this is the stuff this is the stuff in builds that can like take forever that you don't think about here we go
[02:22:13] though okay those two are on of course oh great oh my God can you can't okay oh my God okay hold on all right here we go with that let's try to get two of the I I always find
[02:22:46] it's easier to get two of them started and then the other two all right so we got those two on you can kind of use two fingers to hold those on and then God damn it come on get this in
[02:23:02] here okay and then you you can kind of use your other two your other index and middle finger on your other hand to kind of push down on one then the other and should be able to get it
[02:23:21] come on get in there go go go go no no no no no no no no godamn it all right hold on a now one of these popped oh come on get get on get on there stay no stay can't you
[02:23:43] just get well you can't please just go get go down go on there please ail can you watch that up oh no never mind never mind you're fine you're fine just keep that you're good you're
[02:24:02] good little boo what are you playing last of us look at you go this this AO is it seems it's ever so slightly bigger than the regular ones it'll it'll go in here but
[02:24:18] it puts up a little bit more a fight than the regular aios do kind of unsurprising they they they had to use it's just ridiculous how much they squeezed onto this one AO something is actually
[02:24:37] hitting at the moment this is not I know it'll fit because I I I dry fit's but something is is physically hitting it looks it's the USB port why did I not run into
[02:25:02] this this is interesting let me try to this I'm going to I'm going to take it all the way off and then I'm going to put the USB port down first which will create like an angle for it and then
[02:25:15] we're going to see I I might actually need to remove some material from over over here we'll see all right so I'm going to put the USB port grommet down first and then and then these two on the
[02:25:33] other side will be the second ones to drop down let's try that now something else is hitting now it's this motor plug that's hitting but that's just because of the angle that this is at there I think it I
[02:25:49] think that's it I think that's it yeah but I need to take a look at this USB port to make sure it's not banging into this part of the
[02:26:00] frame and I think that it is oh it is for sure okay so I need to C that this might just be on this particular cockroach V3 frame but that I just need to take a little bit of
[02:26:17] plastic off of this the the the outside of this post right here this is where the USB is sitting and see how the that that round plastic there I need to make that flat on the
[02:26:33] outside and hopefully I can get in there with Flush Cutters I really don't want to have to file that down that's kind of insane but no the Flush Cutters won't get in there so
[02:26:45] let's file it as quickly as I can here and so I don't need to take much off and I mean it would probably work without doing this it's just you don't want you want the AIO to be able to
[02:27:04] float you don't want it to have any physical points of contact with the frame because the frame has the motors and the propellers connected to it and those vibrate like crazy hold on I'm
[02:27:16] just going to do this on my lap to get it done quick don't mind aelia cursing it The Last of Us in the background you guys probably can't hear it all right hold
[02:27:33] on if I do this in my crotch I can push a little bit harder with the file all right I think we're right about there I'll do a little bit more and you're just putting a flat spot
[02:27:56] in it that's all no big deal I assume that whatever frame this comes with as a BNF you don't have to do this but you never know it would probably fly fine with
[02:28:22] it pushing up against it just not quite as good as if it's not sort of hard mounted basically this is some soft ass plastic it is it is tough to file
[02:28:51] uh man hold on I'm gonna actually try to use the Flush Cutters to just make sure that there's enough off here bring him in at an angle there we
[02:29:13] go hit's on the one side and then hit's on the other side and I quote from the other side of the room die [@$#%] die all right I think that's enough no it's not it's not I gotta get
[02:29:40] in here and take a little bit more off there we go welcome to the wonderful world of custom build my friends okay hopefully that's enough all somebody in the chat just
[02:30:01] said that the blue the blue BetaFPV ramets are the best I'm going to try that because these these clear ones just keep popping off this board is thick my
[02:30:15] god great here the blue ones the blue one has a massive slot in it great all right one two three oh that's not it that's a different blue
[02:30:40] romet that's the one third and fourth one is all all right okay cool here we go oh the blue ones fit perfect the blue one's the move good call ketonian good call see
[02:31:10] that that just stays on there a lot better because it's not being like squished okay okay much better all right so I'm still going to put the the USB in first let me get some of these motor
[02:31:29] wires out of the way okay so USB side first and that goes against this one here so and all right so this guy and this guy down first it's already working it's already fitting
[02:31:53] much better and then that oh much better much much much much better and then if I look at the USB port there is a tiny little gap between it and the plastic so we are good to go now perfect that's
[02:32:09] the kind of thing that if you're doing a custom build do it like if if you're just buying it buying a BNF you're they're not going to do custom stuff hopefully they
[02:32:20] choose parts that don't need to be that don't need that done but sometimes it does sometimes like you'll get a binly and there'll be something going on it's like what the
[02:32:31] hell is this it's this is like the top levels of building this stuff if you want it to be really really good this is the kind of thing that you've got to pay attention
[02:32:43] to and again as we talked about earlier this is why we do custom builds we want that extra little bit of performance and it's the the devils in the details as they say
[02:32:59] right all right so here we go this and check that antenna yep that antenna is looking great this guy's sticking up these wires are a little bit of a mess I am going to fix that that's going to
[02:33:22] drive me insane I'm going to put one more turn on these wires real quick here I don't know if this is going to if if hd0 would suffer from the same like electrical noise issues that analog
[02:33:38] does with video but twisting up wires can help with that so it's kind of worth it to do it plus it looks better and it keeps them from getting like pulled out of the C cany
[02:33:50] and like potentially into the props which is a total nightmare so again you're doing a custom build take the time get it perfect you're going to fly it a lot and the better the build the easier
[02:34:09] it's going to be to kind of like service and maintenance and all that good stuff and I'm still not happy with with these wires there is there is a lot L of extra wire in here hold
[02:34:22] on the the it go it's like a straight shot between the the camera and the and the board and so the wires are just getting all bundled up and they're what you don't want is for the on analog builds
[02:34:39] specifically is for the video wire to make any like circles or Loops and so you got to make sure that if you're going to twist the wires up that you twist them up enough so that the
[02:34:54] video wire doesn't do any weird little like circles there's a name for it I forget what it is though for when that happens that can cause its own video noise basically and I forgot to put the
[02:35:08] video antenna back in that's maddening okay this is a little bit fiddly but what's nice about this is like once you have all this done it's kind of fine like this is
[02:35:27] fiddly the first time but these wires will all like kind of conform to the way that you're setting them up and then in the future it'll it'll be easy to work on and there we go all right
[02:35:39] that is perfect the Mobula 6 canopies come with these little screws that are specifically for them they are just long enough come on get in there okay oopsie one single board with a
[02:36:09] digital btx on it who would have ever thought this would be a thing I certainly didn't I still don't believe it I think I'm going to put power to it and it's going to explode in
[02:36:26] Flames why on Earth would I say that out loud okay last one up front and I do have to kind of once this one is driven down I need to check the clearance on the front of the canopy with this
[02:36:51] big old plug header for hd0 here and I'm GNA show you guys that are you kidding me right now this is this is not a brand new frame and apparently this is a frame where the front screw hle is stripped
[02:37:12] out that is maddening I'm just going to ignore that for right now and in the future when I get another one of these black V3 flame frames I'm going to swap swap it out
[02:37:21] but right now we're just going to pretend that that didn't just happen we'll tighten up the other ones it won't affect the way it flies it'll affect the way it crashes just a
[02:37:34] little bit wow the rear one stripped out too this is this is kind of a beat up frame now that I look at it there's a lot of scuffing on the inside here well all right and then the
[02:37:46] clearance up here is looking pretty good actually let me show you we got a little tiny bit of a conflict here hold on let me give you guys let me put the 5x loop on the
[02:38:01] on this camera see it there you can see where I chopped that little bit of plastic out it looks like I chopped just enough out you still got the entire other side for strength so it'll be totally fine
[02:38:14] but if you're going to use this Mobula 6 canopy you're going to have to clearance the the front mounting post there cool no big deal so you're going to have to clearance that front
[02:38:24] mounting post there and you're going to have to clearance the lens opening here for this big old lens to stick out of but again no big deal custom builds my friends there it is that is all put
[02:38:36] together let's see what it weighs it is 545 maybe if I can rip through BetaFlight we can get a couple batteries on it let's see all right and oh whoa that is way heavier than I
[02:38:58] thought that says 20.9 Jesus that's almost 21 Grams yikes 20.84% okay well I'm guessing that the BNF has direct soldered motors which will save a little bit of weight I
[02:39:30] know that it has a much less substantial canopy so that would save some weight the antenna is the tiniest little bit lighter that they give you with it but I think the main weight savings is
[02:39:47] going to be the the direct soldered Motors I might th this is this is a heavier build and with a heavier build the 0802 40,000 KV motors from Weeble are just going to be the motors that I
[02:40:03] choose and so at some point I may very well take these motor plugs off and direct solder the motors to this thing or or maybe not I I don't know I I have a weird feeling I'm not going
[02:40:19] to fly this thing a ton you never know though we we we'll see we'll see man 21 21 Grams I was hoping it would be a closer to 20 but that's life sometimes all right let's get these motors plugged
[02:40:43] in and wow so that BNF is like Ultra Ultra ultra light like they've they've really gone in hard to get the weight down on that thing that's that's
[02:41:02] wild all right well here's a big moment this is the moment where I find out if I cut these motor wires just long these battery wires just long enough or not quite long
[02:41:17] enough and it would have here that I've cut them to be not quite long enough unfortunately but let's see maybe maybe I can still make it work so n we're fine we're fine we're good we're good
[02:41:30] well let's see yep we're okay we're okay cool first plugin maybe it doesn't blow up yay we got beeps we got a nice bright red LED these are actually absolutely perfect I I could not have
[02:41:43] cut those motor wires any shorter the reason why I thought they were too short is that it's not quite getting out of the way enough of the battery but what's cool is it can go to
[02:41:57] the side and the battery can slide out slide in and out next to it so we're actually good I I got kind of Lucky though if I'd cut these battery wires 1 millimeter shorter it would
[02:42:11] be we would not be flying this today we still might not be but let's let's see let's keep going Fallen Apex says M 6 2024 by blades or Tri blades by blades for a little
[02:42:24] bit more runtime and a little bit more of like a loose kind of flight experience as if it's a it's a bigger quad right like a 5 in for example triy blades if you want it to be a
[02:42:36] little bit more accurate you'll sacrifice a little tiny bit of runtime but it's not that bad all right plug in this thing into BetaFlight and let's rip through a setup as quick as we
[02:42:49] possibly can this is kind of nice the USB port being on the side I didn't have to pull the battery out to plug the USB in that's pretty slick I'm sure that I missed a ton of
[02:43:02] questions in this live stream I apologize for that but I really wanted to get this build done come on back tomorrow night at 10: East 8 Eastern I'm going to be flying a 16 something gram 40,000 KV rig
[02:43:18] which should be hysteric it's basically the ultimate air 65 and I'll get caught up on any questions that I missed also whoop Wednesday at 10 o'clock pm. Eastern time
[02:43:32] come on betta flight you can do this just open the most recent versions of BetaFlight take forever to open I have no idea why anybody else is anybody else's take forever to open all of a
[02:43:53] sudden hatrick says you have to go straight out the back away from the board you can't rout the UFL back across the board really well my UFL is on the side and it's goes up so it's in theory it'll be
[02:44:12] fine we'll find out what happens if you route it across the board is it an electrical noise problem all right we've got to work gyro nose down no okay so it doesn't know that it's turned
[02:44:23] sideways so that's the first thing we need to fix configuration look at this weird board and sensor alignment they've got going on 135 degrees on y'all what is that
[02:44:34] about what they must have the gyro chip on here very strange we're going to change rooll no we need to change y'all interesting 13 35 wow I can't do this in my
[02:44:54] head 135 minus 90 equal 45 let's try that 45 save and reboot and connect all right nose down there we go nose up roll left roll right yaw left ya'all right and
[02:45:15] now let's get it calibrated put as flat on the desk as I can click and wait and there we go so now we're calibrated ports tab we shouldn't have to screw with art one is
[02:45:31] looking like that's where they've got the that's interesting they don't have is it an SPI I guess it's an SPI elrs interesting 3.2 khz here on the gyro update frequency means that it's a
[02:45:45] BMI 270 craft name of course is c FPV as it always is air mode is permanently on OSD is on great dshot Beacon is on that's awesome all right save and reboot because we changed the
[02:46:03] name and just take a quick look at Power and Battery minimum sell 3.1 warning sell 3.2 I'm GNA move the warning to 3.3 capacity meh might as well put it 300 that helps with the OSD
[02:46:21] everything else we'll leave alone fail safe since it's a tiny Whoop I'm going to go up to three full seconds because who's a tiny whoop Gonna Hurt an ant presets so I'm going to do the is
[02:46:36] this on BetaFlight oh wow this is on BetaFlight 4.4.2 I am going to leave the filtering alone let's go to the pids tab and it's got custom pids in here it's got the dynamic damping zeroed out I
[02:46:54] don't I'm going to move it up to 1.2 wow very interesting custom pits I'm just going to make these the way I want them wow why do they have the pitch damping
[02:47:07] turned down that's not great I'm going to move it back up there's more weight on the pitch axis because that's where the battery runs the battery runs
[02:47:19] front and back and they've also got the tracking turned up to 1.2 and the damping down at 105 I I'm going to set this up the way that I want it and the way that I like these things I'm not
[02:47:29] making major changes but iter relax 10 you were just hearing some sheer and utter Terror from aelia on the game what The Last of Us listen to it I'm G to move the motor output limit
[02:47:47] down to 90% just to kind of get us started so whatever 40,000 KV times 0.9 is probably closer to like 36,000 KV we're going to leave it there Dynamic idle is zeroed out that's cool vbat sag
[02:47:59] compensation I am going to turn on thrust linearization I'm also going to turn on I'm going to turn it down to 10 though instead of 20 and save
[02:48:08] it rate profile oh my God it's on BetaFlight rates what in the hell let's get it onto actual rates change it oh this thing's getting hot drop my rates in here real
[02:48:31] quick all right and then Expo 7 I am going to need throttle mid I'm going to take a guess that it's around 40% and then the I'm sorry I'm going to need throttle exper and then the amount
[02:48:49] of Expo I'm going to run is going to be4 that's a good amount of Expo these 40,000 KV Motors just need it filters I'm going to move the gyro filter up and then I'm just going to
[02:49:07] kind of leave it RPM filter down to one harmonic Max frequency up to 800 because these are a million KV Motors wow three Dynamic notches what the hell gyro RPM filtering and three Dynamic
[02:49:25] notches that's that makes me feel like there's a lot of electrical noise going on this build might not work you might not be able to do motors that are this high of a KV we'll see in a
[02:49:40] minute oh look at that it's on teer from the factory that is the first time stick low 1010 stick High 1990 little bit of deadband they have some dead band in there that's kind of
[02:49:57] nice RC smoothing Auto factor is really low I'm going to move that up to 100 that adds a little bit of stick smoothing modes aux one is correct let's turn off angle
[02:50:10] mode Horizon mode is already on aux 2 that's great I just want it in the up switch position beeper aux three all the way down flip over after crash move it to Ox 3 put it in the
[02:50:32] middle launch control for the funsies aux two in the middle adjustments I might as well turn this on for different OSD settings OSD profile selection o to full
[02:50:52] range Motors look good 12 poles dshot 300 B directionals turned on let's get the motor Direction set though I do have a battery in here let's plug it in all right I understand the risks
[02:51:07] Wizards start and spin there's a motor that's hitting something let's stop the motors it's probably a motor wire let's push those down and out of the way all right let's see now should
[02:51:18] be good yep now we're good although two of the motors don't want to spin and they're still hitting something what the hell's going on here let's get them hold on motor 3 does not want to
[02:51:34] start let's come in here oh the motors are in the wrong spots interesting stop Motors reorder Motors start that is the right front that is the left front right rear left
[02:51:52] rear left rear motor will not spin right now let's see what's going on with that don't pass out from hyperventilating yet right so it's motor 3 that's having a hard time there it
[02:52:12] goes oh motor 3 is not happy with life let's let's spin all four up the one motor needs to clearance itself anyway all right it has self clearance now let's get them spinning the right
[02:52:35] direction maybe motor 3 will cooperate now well I can at least see which direction it's spinning which is the wrong direction one is wrong they're actually all wrong they all need to be
[02:52:47] reversed so that's fine okay they are all now reversed let's stop and we're going to go into ESC configurator and push up the startup power connect read
[02:53:03] settings hopefully the startup power is not M Teddy Teddy I'm going to turn these beacons up a little bit to make the Beeper a little bit louder turn the delay down to 2 minutes
[02:53:18] turn break on stop on and write the settings this is not telling me what the pwm frequency is so maybe it's 96k can you guys hear Teddy all right so let's let's flash
[02:53:44] all the esc's to the newer version of Blue J 21.0 on 48k to make sure it's on 48 and that'll allow us to move the startup power around a little bit's weird that it doesn't say what
[02:54:11] kilohertz it's on out of the box on 0. one n that's odd chonan says mine wouldn't spin on 48 I had to do 96 I hope that's not the case because I hate the way 96
[02:54:36] flies wo this board gets hot oh we're done all right cool so I'm going to take a guess on the startup power and I'm going to move it up to like 1080 and 1,200 and I'm going to write
[02:54:58] settings all right cool that's all good we're on a newer version of Blue J let's see if it'll spin that motor up now a little bit better I'm just going to try it in here
[02:55:09] I'm going to take the master slider and move it up a little bit man motor 3 is having a hard time the rest of the motors are fine but ESC channel number three or motor
[02:55:21] number three no it's not motor number three I had these motors on another builds what is hitting what the hell is hittingwell let's just see I think I have enough stuff set up the OSD might
[02:55:36] be a mess let me get this unplugged for a second well I can unplug the battery for sure cuz I'm done spinning the motors up come on come on come on all right let me we get this oh this is considered an
[02:55:52] HD OSD so that's fine I've got my WalkSnail OSD right here let me copy it's down below the picture of me where I'm at right now all right so that's copied into the clipboard I'm
[02:56:09] going to plug this in again and I'll dump that into the CL and then we're just going to try to fly it is 6 o' I absolutely have to wrap this up so connect CLI come on come on come on
[02:56:22] paste no red text great type save and now that's saved my specific OSD let's reconnect and I want to make sure that it's set up properly on OSD profiles one and two Yep looks good
[02:56:38] core temperature constant on I do not need that's interesting that they have that turned on from the factory though that they seem to know that this thing gets hot
[02:56:48] I have it in the warnings so there is a core temperature warning it'll start flashing let's save that I guess it uses VTX tables I'm going to turn on low power until
[02:57:06] first arm 25 mws is fine I might as well Crank It Up To Race band eight and let's save that all right we're good let's try to flly hold on I have to bind it to oh that was weird that disconnected
[02:57:25] in a weird way bind receiver let's turn the transmitter on come on come on come come on I'm going to assume that it's on elrs 3 all right here we go into bind mode please
[02:57:44] bind please bind there it is terrific let's check everything fine fine Ox one great should be okay see if it flies friends well I mean hold on I've never used HD zero goggles
[02:58:05] with act these HD zero goggles with actual hd0 in theory I guess it'll just work is that how it goes they've gone into analog mode how do I get a out of analog mode do I have to take the analog
[02:58:28] receiver off I I don't I'll figure out how I actually need to do it in the future for right now I'm just going to take this off get back in
[02:58:44] there get back in there Sergio come on back tomorrow night at 800m and ask me that question or on whoop Wednesday i h i I have to get this going how do I change the hd0 channel
[02:59:10] is that a thing I got this rotary dial here it doesn't seem to be doing anything I pushed the button that didn't do anything I'm in the menu scan now
[02:59:34] scan found it on R8 there we go we've got video all right let me see if I can get you guys video is the next question I've got this all hooked up here let's see what
[02:59:48] happens when I just hook this up to HDMI in please just pass video it should I was passing video to the monitors at the RC drift car place come on little buddy
[03:00:00] work otherwise I'll do a quick Stevie Wonder and then we'll look at the DVR it's showing the hd60 Plus hd60s plus but it's not picking up the the
[03:00:27] video let me go into the menu and see if there's some weird HDMI out setting that's not turned on but see I've use these goggles at the drift car place and they work totally fine
[03:00:38] there so I have a feeling that the hd60s plus just doesn't isn't digging it oh wait do I have it plugged into HDMI in rather than I do I do I do I do I do user error now it's plugged into HDMI
[03:00:58] out come on oh there it goes come on come on come on come on is it too hot how do I get out of the goggle menu back hold the button maybe why is it giving me a prog progess
[03:01:18] bar progress bar to get out of the menu is that now working please just work please work [@$#%] come on man well oh my God this battery is all the way dead battery is showing 3.3 volts
[03:01:47] maybe that's why let's swap batteries dude it ate this whole battery are you kidding me maybe that was the deal I don't know that that I wouldn't think so though because I still had image in the
[03:01:59] goggles we might just do a quick DVR battery I have video you guys do not that sucks Source HDMI no image settings no nothing in there power nothing in there fans
[03:02:20] nothing in there record options that wouldn't make any sense auto scan no connections maybe nope head tracker no playback no firware no Focus chart no
[03:02:50] taking one more look nope nothing in here makes any sense the wi the HDMI out should just work and it has worked in the past so this is a problem with the with the the
[03:03:22] hd60s plus it just doesn't work that's a super shame all the motors are spinning in the wrong direction what the hell is that about so this is going to be a DVR battery I will point this camera
[03:03:46] into the room and you guys will be disappointed but as long as I can get the DVR to work I can at least give you something do I have a memory card in there I do have a memory card in there I'm just
[03:04:03] going to unplug the the HDMI can't use fat sharks this is hd0 fat sharks are analog only Motors are all spinning the wrong direction I don't understand why I set them up properly what's that
[03:04:26] about oh man is this is this going to be a situation where the motors won't spin well first of all I had this set wrong so it wouldn't have flown anyway so let's fix
[03:04:36] that but that doesn't change the the motor Direction let's go through here again now the right front motor won't spin okay so all the motors are spinning the wrong
[03:04:53] direction this is one of those boards where the motor Direction here does not work that's super annoying but not the end of the world we can just do it in blue
[03:05:05] J come over here connect read settings reading all four come on come on come on and we're going to go from normal to reversed that is very annoying that this brand new AI will not allow
[03:05:20] you to reverse the motor Direction in BetaFlight maybe if I flash BetaFlight 0.5 to this it'll fix that but for right now that will have fixed it let's connect one more time make sure
[03:05:34] this is good to go now none of the motors will spin okay let's power cycle it both with USB and battery power no let's just plug it in it should be totally fine Gotta Go Gotta Go Gotta Go Gotta Go
[03:05:56] come on come on come on come on all right let's see Teddy back up please Teddy it will not bind now what is happening maybe it's too high oh there it is now wow it took a
[03:06:23] while to bind all right so one of these props is still hitting it's the right front now it's good though okay let's see we've got a flying hd0 tiny whoop my friends
[03:06:49] ah I wish I could play the live feed for you but for whatever reason Teddy you just slobbered all over this thing for whatever reason my capture card doesn't doesn't like the the feed
[03:07:03] from this so I'm going to DVR this and no R8 how do I DVR what it doesn't like the memory card why is that happening why is this thing beeping why is it
[03:07:34] beeping okay it is acting very weird maybe the battery went did it's been plugged in a while let's throw another battery at it's does doesn't seem to like the
[03:07:48] memory card is that's in here which is odd let me just yank this memory card from the computer and throw it in here and hopefully that will solve that all right let's try this
[03:08:02] again with another battery these digital video systems do pull pretty hard on the batteries so it's not totally surprising that it might have just killed that entire battery Just Me
[03:08:12] farting around with it getting it set up let's try another one here here Teddy spaghetti calm down please I I I I will admit I do wish that I'd cut these battery leads a
[03:08:29] little tiny bit longer just like ah millimeter longer all right let's see all right you'll get to see the LED for sure it's recording all right there we go wow there's a lot of I
[03:08:46] have the camera angle set a little bit too low right now you'll see in the DVR let's just give it a little bit more there we go that's my normal up tilt all right so the right front is
[03:09:00] still hitting on something the colors are super saturated I've got a little bit of kind of jitteriness but that has sort of gone away man it the reds are very red let's just
[03:09:21] go oh buddy okay so HD with low latency this really instantly has made me realize how much latency WalkSnail has and it flies pretty goddamn good with these 40,000 KV Motors runtime
[03:09:39] we'll see man Reds are really red though you'll you'll see what I mean in a minute they're almost like pink wow look at that I can't wait for you guys to see this in the DVR that is
[03:09:54] crazy okay this thing rips 40,000 G motors come on now we're going upstairs test a little oh wow okay it's getting a well the the breakup with hd0 is is in my opinion a lot uglier
[03:10:10] than analog breakup oh so the white balance just adjusted upstairs and the colors look a lot better I think that the the Reds being all wacky could be a white balance thing
[03:10:23] in the basement here but I'll keep going I am at where's my timer where's my OSD actually I don't do I not have OS I do have OSD but I don't have a timer battery is down at 3.4 let's
[03:10:40] come in and land and hopefully I get a timer oh yikes a minute and 47 okay that's rough battery is bouncing back it's at 3.6 already but it's not going any farther than that so I actually ran
[03:10:56] this battery down quite a bit that's a pretty short runtime let's throw another battery at it though because this is a little bit older of a battery I think this should
[03:11:08] be a fairly new battery this will be a much better test it flies awesome though it flies closer to the way that the analog tiny whoops fly than the WalkSnail tiny whoop for sure like
[03:11:27] from a flight characteristics perspective also from a latency perspective I mean obviously like latencies are latency is just a fact it's not like a Magical Mystery
[03:11:43] thing 40,000 KV motors have plent plenty of power for a 21 gram build the problem with this build is going to be runtime the the problem with these God damn it the problem with this
[03:12:04] well hold on grab this first what I was about to say is that the problem with these high power motors and this heavy of a build is going to be runtime but even a lower powered motor a
[03:12:29] lower K KV motor is going to have to drag around 21 Grams and so this this build this is just going to struggle with runtime when the rigs get heavier this is just what
[03:12:46] happens so this is no different than any other 21 gram build in terms of runtime this is the same problem I have on the WalkSnail builds I just got a great big white flash in the HD zero
[03:12:59] that's that was a little ugly but whatever oh no no no don't go back behind the thing again come on come on come on should get a little bit better runtime it feels like I'm getting better runtime
[03:13:25] already ah went for a big old Matty flip and blew it flyes great with these motors I kind of can't believe that it's 21 gram this camera has a little bit of a different fisheye
[03:13:43] than I'm used to with the with the RunCam Nano 3 it's not bad it's just different it might just be a wider field of view oh got in and out of that dive by the skin of my
[03:14:07] teeth woo all right this is better run time oh we're down to 3.4 so I'm not getting any I'm not getting any warnings maybe I'm not dragging the battery down low enough 2 minutes right on
[03:14:26] the nose of runtime battery is bouncing back to 3.61 let's get this battery unplugged we'll give it a second to bounce back a little bit farther I usually run batteries down to
[03:14:37] 3.5 and then they bounce back up to 3.8 which is really nice cuz then you don't have to storage charge them they're like ready to go all right hd0 stops recording when it loses
[03:14:50] signal which is really really nice let's I mean I got to see it but I'll give you guys a chance to see it here all right here we go damn dude so for a freestyle tiny
[03:15:12] whoop this is way more realistic than WalkSnail walks now as a freestyle tiny whoop it's just too heavy it's just too heavy the runtime is brutal it hammers the hell out of your
[03:15:25] batteries this is a fairly new battery and I just ate it in in two minutes admittedly I was ripping it around the room pretty good but 2 minutes
[03:15:37] is is tough here here's that second battery that I just flew and you can be the judge for yourself of how hard I'm railing it around the room in terms of the battery from
[03:15:55] flight it gives it's puts audio in there laty perspective I mean obviously like that's awesome that it that it puts the audio in there so here you guys go man the ultimate hd0 ao5 build wee bed FPV
[03:16:14] 0702 40,000 KV Motors at the moment it's on geman 1210 by blades I will certainly try this out with the the GemFan 1219 s's as well as the HQ ultra light Tri
[03:16:31] blades newbie drone cockroach V3 frame come on let's get back to the Flying bro there we go old school mob six canopy for strength super lightweight antenna very similar to the antenna
[03:16:53] that's included with the A5 300mah folded cell BT 2.0 batteries tiny whoop very cool little LED 180 degree bt2.0 gym Jam what else is different about this I think that's about it this is the
[03:17:15] which camera is this this is the Eco camera 150 okay so it's interesting it does it is more of a fisheye lens because it's 150 degrees diagonal fov although you
[03:17:31] know what never mind the apparently the fod ratings that these sorry fov rather field of view ratings that these camera companies do are just like wrong so never mind about the field
[03:17:43] of view 720p 56 60 frames per second rather that's the build man that's it one board with flight controller ESC Express lrs and HD zero on it that's outrageous in and of itself
[03:18:09] and then it flies like this for 2 minutes which is not bad at all looks like my antenna routing is totally fine there's really I mean I did have that one white Flash and on that very first
[03:18:21] battery there was a strange little bit of jitteriness but that it didn't do it again so it could just have been that right front propeller kind of self- clearancing there we go that was the
[03:18:36] second battery there's the rainbow here was the first battery where you can see that the the crazy Reds flies really good man I I'm blown away that this is 21 gram these wee bed
[03:18:54] 702 40,000 they have enough power to make a 21 gr all up weight sorry 21 gram see that little jitteriness there that went away but these 40,000 KV motors have enough power to
[03:19:12] make this thing feel fine in the air like there's no getting around that mass and so in corner like when cornering and whatnot it's going to have that extra mass but the pit tune
[03:19:25] feels decent even though it's pretty much stock the response time is great that yaw is nice and snappy I'm flying like a complete buffoon Kev I have to end this live
[03:19:42] stream the second that we're done here come on back tomorrow tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. Eastern or Wednesday at 10 p.m. and I'll answer any and all questions you've got look at that
[03:19:54] look at it struggling with the Reds woo that is nasty but who cares and I might be able to drop the saturation down a little bit's does look it's I was about to say it looks
[03:20:05] oversaturated but maybe not here you'll get to see the white balance change it could be a white balance thing watch at some it just did it the white balance just changed upstairs there's a whole
[03:20:15] bunch of actual daylight it's a little bit cool the the Sun is going down so right now upstairs is a little bit more of a blue light higher in the Kelvin scale down here in the basement I have
[03:20:29] the the the main lights behind the TV and that retro lamp behind us on the camera right now set to daylight to what what these LEDs can produce which is not quite right and that
[03:20:44] that could be the problem so I'll play around with I'll play around with the the white balance settings to see if I can get that red see you can see it here cam red is the hardest color for
[03:20:57] image sensors to reproduce so if if the Reds go to hell and all the other cam all the other colors are fine that's sort of just how cameras work there you go my friends I I I wish that I
[03:21:09] could fly this live for you but there's something about the Elgato hd60 s+ that it's this happened to me before it's for some reason incompatible with the HDMI out signal
[03:21:27] from these HD zero goggles which is a super shame because I have used these goggles to Output to televisions at the RC drift car place with no problems so this strikes me as an Elgato problem
[03:21:44] maybe I'll get one of those super cheap little USB capture cards that just have the HDMI in the back and maybe that'll work I'll look that up on Amazon
[03:21:55] but this is pretty impressive at 21 Grams I'm blown away that these motors are able to control it as as well as they do I'm also blown away that this AIO works with 40,000 KV Motors there
[03:22:12] there have been a couple of aios over the years that have too much electrical noise for these motors like the diamond and there was one more I can't remember it might have been the Super X
[03:22:23] but the fact that this AI does work with these crazy powerful Motors means that there's not a nasty electrical noise issue on this AI I was a little bit worried about that when I
[03:22:37] saw where the pids were and where the filters were but no that that did not have any any issues I might push the pit tune up a little bit although there was no sign of prop wash there and that's on an old
[03:22:55] beat up frame once I get a more fresh frame on this it'll be a little bit stiffer the the old school Mobula 6 canopy as I mentioned earlier is doing a good job keeping this thing a little bit
[03:23:05] more rigid than it would normally be with a super super super lightweight frame so this canopy is here to stay I will do a micro V antenna at some point when I have another one I
[03:23:17] I I sent the money to ort for them to make me a set of slightly shorter ones and so this will be getting one of those for sure I'll play around with different propellers I'm definitely
[03:23:31] going to mess around with the filtering I will probably move this to BetaFlight the newest version of BetaFlight and then I will use Brandon's baked beans Brand's baked beans's awesome BMI 270
[03:23:44] filter setup on this and that might give me a little bit more ability to push the the the the pids a little farther although I don't really know if I need to I'm tempted to just
[03:23:59] leave it the hell alone and just fly it a bunch before I go down the rabbit hole changing more and more and more and more stuff pretty impressive the the the runtime is is the main is is really kind
[03:24:14] of the bummer here if I'm completely honest at 21 gram we're not going to get much more than 2 minutes of runtime if we're flying it hard I will certainly do a battery
[03:24:27] where I chill out a little bit more and see if I can get 2 minutes and 30 I don't imagine I'll be able to get 3 minutes at this weight if I wanted to get more runtime I would need to
[03:24:38] sacrifice this canopy sacrifice a little bit of durability I would also any where and everywhere that you could save weight would would be the way to get more runtime out of
[03:24:50] this right now and so but as a freestyle rig this kicks the [@$#%] out of the WalkSnail buildt I've got a almost identically built WalkSnail freestyle 65mm rig
[03:25:13] and this will not get 2 minutes of runtime flying it the way that I was just flying it because it's significantly heavier matter of fact let's let's look at the weight
[03:25:24] difference this this build is almost identical same frame same canopy this does have a true RC Singularity antenna which is like8 of a gram heavier I think than this terrible little
[03:25:39] antenna so that's a significant extra chunk of weight but but same Motors same props obviously different AIO because it's not a built-in this guy is
[03:25:55] 25.3 G so 25.3 for WalkSnail but you do get 10860 which is kind of insane versus 20.8 9 call it 20.9 gram so massive weight difference this as a freestyle rig because of that
[03:26:15] massive weight difference is going to just perform way better also this is significantly lower latency oh I did good call Titan I did motor limit this down this is
[03:26:28] 90% motor limiting man this thing is doing great for that so these motors are not true 40,000 KV right now they are 36,000 KV Motors on here so this is BAS think of this right now as having
[03:26:43] those green Firefly tiny whoop 0702 36,000 KV Motors I don't really need more power though one of the great things about the Weeble 40,000 KV Motors is that you can do exactly this you put them on you've
[03:26:57] got the highest KV motor available and then you motor limit's down to exactly where you want it 90% is going to be 36,000 KV 80% is going to be probably 32,000 KV and so you don't have
[03:27:10] to worry like am I buying Motors that are not quite enough or too much just buy the ones that are too much and then limit them down technically I could get a little bit more
[03:27:22] runtime by instead of motor limiting these down running the Firefly Motors at 100% but and I'll I'll test that I will test that but I'm going to say it right now because I've done this test many
[03:27:37] many times I'm going to get like one more second of runtime or two more seconds of runtime it's not going to be a significant amount but technically speaking yes running a lower KV motor at
[03:27:50] 100% versus a higher KV motor limited down gives you a tiny tiny tiny little bit of extra efficiency but it's not a significant amount so there you go my friends look at this
[03:28:07] I've got a 65mm case with a WalkSnail rig and now I got to put these in the other way an HD zero rig is that not the most satisfying [@$#%] you've ever seen a digital custom FPV
[03:28:24] case with both contenders for digital 65mm tiny whoops that's pretty cool I'm gonna take the HD zero whoop right back out because I'm Gonna Fly the [@$#%] out of
[03:28:36] it thanks for hanging out friends my name is Aaron Ciotti everybody calls me Ciotti head on over to Ciotti fv.com and support me and I'll do more live streams like this forever
[03:28:46] how's that soundtomorrow night at 8:00 pm eastern time I will be flying well I can't fly it live so tomorrow night I will give you more DVR of this guy and we will fly
[03:29:02] this live this is a 16.4 I think it is gram 40,000 KV build on Tri blades at 100% motor limiting so this should be interesting on the the air this is an ultimate air 65 this is on the 5
[03:29:22] in one which is a little bit lighter than the 4 in one with the external receiver so this on a light AF frame so this kind of represents Peak Insanity the lightest within reason build
[03:29:38] with the most powerful Motors and tri blades I'll be honest I put these Tri blades on because they're red and I wanted this to be red and white like like my logo I will probably take these
[03:29:48] Tri blades off and put the the the 1210 bades on here because it's just such a such a high KV rock crawler says Bardwell said he's gonna be streaming tomorrow at 8 will you change
[03:29:59] to 10 I yes tomorrow night's live stream will be at 10: I will not ever overlap with Joshua he started live streaming first he did a live stream at my apartment when I lived in Charleston
[03:30:10] and saidyou're really good at this you should do this more I did when I got laid off at the beginning of the pandemic and said to him like how dumb would it be for me to try to do FPV
[03:30:21] full-time he's the one that said if not now than when which is the manra that I've been living with ever since then so I will never ever ever stream on top of him that is like not cool I
[03:30:32] have Joshua has been extremely generous to me over the years and a and an amazing friend and so not not cool so tomorrow night 10 p.m eastern time live stream
[03:30:46] I'll see you guys then that gives me another two hours to fly a little bit more very cool love you guys C fpv.one for that person and some fun shirts on the Etsy store this is not one
[03:31:11] of them this is a blip shift shirt with all four generations of CH all four four chassis codes of Miata n n b and c and d and the weights this is what they weighed this is the first year they were
[03:31:23] made this is the weight of each generation and that's the the code love you guys byebye I'm going to play the the second file the second HD zero file to play us out of the live
[03:31:42] stream byebye a n a n
