[00:01:12] hey friends my name is Aaron Ciotti everybody calls me Ciotti welcome to show it's Sim Sunday and we're going to be helping viewers nail tricks if you jump into the veloc drone room today you're going to get spectated at
[00:01:34] some point and if I see you doing something because I'll be able to look at your stick overlay that I think that I can help you with I'm just going to use you an example as an example so fair warning if you jump into the veloc Drone room today
[00:01:55] you're going to get some unsolicited advice but this is me letting that you're going to get that this is me letting that you're going to be solicited I guess Michael kajas was first in the chat Curtis Hayes Spaceman spiff FPV toast Andrew Taylor neron rockcrawler
[00:02:15] Jay monk dougas 6 Uriel random videos daily Northern Tier Troy P Lo bad rock crawler Kevin Jay Frank Nicholas and e to anybody that hung around on Friday stream and helped out in the chat and made sure
[00:02:40] people weren't being stupid thank you for anybody that didn't watch Friday's stream Maggie and I lost a friend to Suicide this week and he was our Sunday night dance instructor we're both feeling a lot better but I
[00:03:04] mean we're both still completely heartbroken from it tonight's going to be really really hard tonight we are going because even though he had people that worked with him at his company reframed they can't get into his website because the cops
[00:03:30] still have his phone and two Factor authentication and so his website right now will still take you can still go on his website and book tonight and so a dance class for tonight and so we're going to go
[00:03:54] and we're sure that there that there are people that just haven't found out they're not connected via Facebook or his Discord group and so we're going to let those people know and for anybody new we're
[00:04:13] going to kind of play it by ear we are willing to teach them to the best of our ability they drove all the way out they paid to learn how to Coupes dance the the first 20 to 30 minutes of every one of his
[00:04:33] classes were the basics it was a it was a beginner class at heart which was awesome and Maggie and I got to watch him go over those Basics with people pretty much every Sunday all year from the first one that we went to in January all the way through until
[00:05:01] 3 4 weeks ago that's not going to be what's hard about tonight that that's easy there there's a bunch of super basic stuff with with couples
[00:05:14] dance that you can learn in literally 20 to 30 minutes that will make you the best couples dancer at most weddings that you go to there's a bunch of super basic stuff that's really cool to learn because it's not difficult and it's really fun to
[00:05:33] learn that with your partner and the the hard part about tonight is going to be the people that haven't found out that are expecting to just go and have a good time and we're going to bring a little speaker and see if people want to dance Wilder had this one song that he loved and he would play
[00:06:03] it almost every Sunday and if if people are feeling up to it I I I don't I don't I'm Maggie and I are are in the middle in terms of that we're not if if if other people want to cool because that would be a neat way to remember him if nobody wants to
[00:06:31] that's fine too but we're going to bring little Bluetooth speaker I don't even know if it's going to be loud enough but we'll see and yeah maybe we'll have like a little Last Dance For A Wilder or whatever but we also want to tell people to come back next Sunday and
[00:06:56] next Sunday I don't know maybe maybe reframe reframed is trying to find other instructors and so maybe the the class will be back on next Sunday if it's not if they're not able to find an instructor I'm going
[00:07:16] to be talking to the brewery about what it would cost to let us continue to use that space hopefully they say in honor of Wilder like don't even think about that like you're good use it for as long as you want cuz I mean it's doesn't Sunday nights at this Brewery
[00:07:34] are not busy like we're not taking up space that there aren't people coming to that Brewery to drink that are being turned away so it's doesn't cost them anything in that respect and then some of us are are buying alcohol so it's actually making them money
[00:07:53] to have us there and so hopefully they say like yeah you guys can totally use the back of the and we don't use like their whole place we use like the back third of their indoor space and so uh if they're cool with it Maggie and I are down to just go
[00:08:13] every Sunday and turn it into like a dance club or Meetup or whatever doesn't matter what it is a group of people that learn how to dance and want to practice together one of the ways that you get good with dance is like
[00:08:36] like in high school volleyball rotate you dance with all different leads and follows and you all kind of learn together even just like like not from like an instructional standpoint just the fact of like dancing with a different lead you'll pick up different
[00:08:57] little subtleties that they do and they'll they'll turn a specific way and you'll be like oh that's interesting and so that's our sort of current plan worst case scenario we if if they want x amount of money for that space we will all chip in and figure that out
[00:09:21] but we don't want it we don't we don't think that letting it just disappear is is the right move and we are all used to showing up there on Sunday right like we've all worked it into our schedules and so why not keep that going
[00:09:41] right this is as far as I'm concerned This Is Us showing up and yeah keeping this thing going so but tonight's going to be tough I know that there are going to be people that show up that have not heard and a lot of these people have been coming for months and months and months and months and we've formed
[00:10:09] this little it's super interesting we we we've formed like this little Community but like we don't talk to each other outside of Sunday nights kind I think sort of because we were just we were there every Sunday night like and that's seeing somebody talking to somebody
[00:10:25] once a week that's enough is enough the right word that's more than that's more than I get from most of my relationships with with people and yeah I think everybody kind of took that for granted I I feel like we all took the friendships that
[00:10:54] we've made on Sunday nights a little bit for granted and we didn't really check in on each other we just assumed that we would see each other on the following Sunday so life lessons all over the
[00:11:09] place in the last few days this is a Q&A live stream we're going to be in the simulator and I'm going to fly I'm actually going to fly some real batteries I I haven't really had it in me since since I I put the the low pitch HQ
[00:11:33] ultralight Tri blades on to fly them and so we're going to get back into that these two rigs both have very high KV Motors 366,000 KV here and these are the the this is the BetaFPV Champion air 65 Champion which has
[00:11:55] 30,000 KV Motors they actually perform much they perform like HappyModel 34,000 maybe 35 maybe even 36,000 KV Motors so these are both very powerful rigs usually on a really powerful rig like this I don't want to put the the higher pitch
[00:12:22] propellers on because it ends up being too much power and so these HQ low pitch ultral light props 1.2x 0.9 by 3s seem to match up really really well with these high KV motors which is cool because what it basically means is
[00:12:41] that if you're on a lower KV rig like let's say I think like 30,000 KV is is a really good Middle Point 30,000 KV is like the point where anything above 30,000 become 30,000 and above let's say is like really high KV and if you put the pitchy tri blades the GemFan
[00:13:11] 1219 s's or the old school like regular HQ ultral light Tri blades you get really good power 29,000 KV 28,000 even down to like 27 25,000 you'll still get really decent power with with those more aggressive more pitchy propellers but up above at 30,000
[00:13:34] KV and above the GemFan 1210 by blades feel really good and that's really kind of been it there wasn't no there was no other option now there is and that's super cool so you've got a byblade option or you've got this triblade option so almost regardless of where your KV is
[00:13:58] at on a Time whoop there are a couple of different propeller options it would be interesting to have a low pitch byblade option but to be honest the the geman 1210 byblade it totally works and it makes really good power on those
[00:14:17] lower KV Motors as well and so that propeller kind of blurs the lines and it works anywhere so that's the plan for today my friend if you want to talk directly to me in
[00:14:35] the chat all you got to do is type cfpv J monk did that and he said what's up bad said that bad said SEF before I forget those extra tall grommets are from the mobula 6 HD tiny whoop has them I saw somebody leave a comment on the
[00:14:55] two live streams ago about that which is awesome thank you than you for reminding me if I go to Tiny whoop and search for grommet there we go mob 6 HD good find friends these screws are also nice to have but for five bucks th this
[00:15:18] set of grommets is really kind of a necessity for for certain builds but regardless you want to have either bookmark this so that you can buy these when you do need them or find an excuse to do a tiny whoop order and just have a set of these in your toolbox cuz at
[00:15:38] some point you're going to need them either on a build where you're trying to lift the where you're trying to this is them as well where you're trying to lift the AI up because your USB port is hitting the battery or if you're doing like a double stack build with walks
[00:15:57] snail or something this is them too this set of screws is also really nice to have so and look this is only $2.50 so get get this for sure these longer screws are really nice to run on your
[00:16:15] heavier single stack 75mm builds so this is this is awesome get get these for sure it's half as much money and these screws are you're going to use these screws before you're going to use these screws
[00:16:32] here so that's awesome what's this M8 7 here you go again these are the these are the same grommets here and now we're down to $2 if you're doing a tiny woop order get
[00:16:46] one quantity of all three of these you'll get a bunch of these sets which you'll use at some point and then you'll get a bunch of different screws I can't really tell all right so it says down here four m1.2 by4 screws so that's what these are m1.2 by4 that those screws are not all that
[00:17:04] useful if I'm completely honest with you does Jesse have the measurement of these screws nah no measurement for these screws but my guess is that these are like m1.2 by 6 or so and then does he have a measurement on these no but this is probably m1.2 by S
[00:17:24] or so with a smaller head on them like I said get get one quantity of each it'll cost you less than 10 bucks if my math is somewhat right which it probably is not but you'll get a bunch of these tall grommets which are really really nice to have and there will be a build at some point that you need them
[00:17:41] on so tiny whoop to the rescue as always good call bad thank you for that J monk says sorry to about that brother this time of year is anniversary anniversary of my troops that had passed a long time ago go I normally do not
[00:18:01] like holidays turkey Christmas season uh the holidays are just brutal for so many people as I talked about on Friday's stream now is the time to reach out right now not like oh I will this week like right now like actually right now you can leave me on in the
[00:18:26] background uh but right this minute is a really good time to shoot somebody that either struggles with mental illness stuff for sure absolutely send that text right at this very moment or just somebody that you
[00:18:45] haven't talked to in a while the the rates of mental illness are staggeringly high if if more than 10 people probably at least two people that have it and so somebody that you haven't heard
[00:19:05] for one a while you got a 10 to 20% chance of being someone that maybe pulls that person out of a spot that is is really dark and scary right now so do it right help the help your
[00:19:23] friends and family and loved ones make it through because it is unprecedent unprecedent I don't know if that's a word but I know unprecedented is a word but I don't know if unprecedentedly is a word probably not bad time right now in so many ways so
[00:19:45] send a text message to someone right now invite yourself over to someone's house invite someone over to your house uh if that you have some someone in your life that struggles with mental illness invite yourself over to that
[00:20:03] person's house invite them over to your house send them a message that sayswe are hanging out don't give them an out we are hanging out is it at my place is it at your place is it tonight just that is the coolest thing that you can say to somebody whose brain tells
[00:20:25] them every single day that everybody hates them and that the world is better off without them the world is better off without me is the rally Cry of depression and it's insane it's insane when Wilder's brain told that
[00:20:49] to him he knew intellectually that that's not true a small part of them knew intellectually that that's not true lots of people rely on him for the dance classes and for friendship and all that stuff right it's so obvious that that's that that's a stupid thought
[00:21:16] but mental illness is so powerful that it overrides all of that sanity and it somehow convinces you that that's the truth and you sit and just repeat that over and over and over again and you just go deeper and deeper and deeper the world is better off without me the
[00:21:35] world is better off without me the world and that is that is such a powerful thing to think and it is so hard to fight against and so make someone feel
[00:21:52] like the world is not better off without them and in my opinion the best way of doing that is just we're hanging out now I care so much about you the world is better off with you I want to be in your presence now I
[00:22:15] will be in your presence now we are hanging out cool that's one way to break through for sure and even if even if somebody doesn't have mental health shit' be a nice text message to get right wouldn't you like to get that would a friend that that that you
[00:22:44] haven't spoken with in a little bit wouldn't it be cool to get a text or an email from that person right now likeman been thinking about you let's hang out right now the the the the let's hang out right now thing that's
[00:23:01] because there's a there's a self there's a lack of self-worth component typically to depression and when people say like do you want to hang out or something like lighter than that something lighter than like we are hanging out you have a tendency to say no oh they're just they're
[00:23:24] they're just pitying me or there's a million ridiculous things that that the brain will say or just I'm busy and people are but like so when you when when you bash through that and say like we are hanging out it's just like oh okay cool well like I am busy but then
[00:23:44] I'm free from like 8 to 10 I mean since we're hanging out I guess that's the only option right and it's it's not obnoxious at all it's love like you're showing that person that that you're not wishy-washy about this you're not just like pity being
[00:24:04] like like we should hang out there there's such like an easy out there whereas we're chilling we're getting drinks right now is a it's a completely different thing and there there's there's so much more of a component of like this person really really really
[00:24:24] cares about me and this is what's happening and there's also a little bit of like passiveness to anxiety to depression and so if somebody is just like we're hanging out a lot of times you'll just be like oh okay cool you struggle to make
[00:24:45] decisions you struggle to like yeah figure stuff out and so when somebody else makes that decision for you it's like okay and then all you have to do is figure out like where and whatnot but that's one of the best things that you can do I'm telling
[00:25:02] you yeah so do it right now for seriously like seriously send someone a text or an email now saying whatever even if it's even if it's your best friend even if it's your best friend that that you just talk to just be likewe're hanging
[00:25:26] out that's it we're watching a movie together I've been meaning to watch this show aelia and I if if you need an idea if if you're not watching anything right now aelia and I Maggie watched a bunch of episodes with us too we are watching Arcane on Netflix and it is
[00:25:46] gorgeous oh my God if you're not watching Arcane you probably should be it's really really really well done they just did a second season and we're we're still in the first season which is really really good so use that
[00:26:04] yo I'm watching Arcane it's super cool you got to check this out with me what are you doing tonight what are you doing tomorrow one episode you don't you only have you only have 45 minutes that's cool that's how long the episodes are we're hanging out
[00:26:19] we're watching an episode I got to introduce you to the show it's awesome done done hardest holiday season insane political climate done save somebody's life with that and I know that sounds like super dramatic but it's true right
[00:26:44] now all right do it do it for me do it for yourself do it for whatever just do it be be the light that you want from this world all right I have this set of airpods these the airpods with the long things I forget what's wrong
[00:27:10] with these they don't connect they they connect and then they disconnect and then they connect and they disconnect does anybody want them I I I feel terrible throwing them in the trash but apparently the cost to repair these
[00:27:26] things is more than what it costs to buy a new set so this these this will go in the garbage does anybody just like want the the the charging case thing it's better than this just ending up in a landfill so if you want these this let me
[00:27:45] know play a joke on somebody for Christmas wrap this up give it to your kids oh oh my God airpods and then they don't work don't do that thanks for sticking with me through this guys I appreciate
[00:28:11] it last last three weeks have been a nightmare in so many ways I appreciate you guys bearing with me Uriel says you can do it make fun he would like it I think I agree J monk says I tend to stay away
[00:28:37] from people I go to the mountains that's okay careful with that you can find good people I I I know a lot of people suck believe me do I know but there are many amazing people out there out there the trick is finding them
[00:28:56] locally but it's to doable find something that you that's one of the that's one of the things that's come from dance for me is the fact that I can't do it over the Internet I have to meet people face to face and that's been
[00:29:14] one of the amazing things because it's made me sort of remember that there are people nearby that that share my my values as a human being and that are really really good people the internet can be very the internet can make us feel like
[00:29:39] that people near us are all horrible and the only good people are a thousand miles away it's not true you just you got to work a little bit harder to find those people locally and internet has made us
[00:29:57] lazy it's great in a lot of ways but we got to we got to be careful of that Michael blade says Uriel says no brother limit says hey good to see you Justin Müller says do you have more bushings go wrong or more bearings on 65mm whoops with 0702
[00:30:25] motors I've not had either but but there's really nothing to go wrong with the bushings they're pressed into the stator and then the motor shaft fits on there ever so slightly loose so the bushing is just the the only thing that
[00:30:45] could go wrong with a bushing is if it breaks free of the stator and it starts rotating on in the stator rather than the motor shaft rotating in the center of the bushing I've never had that happen in thousands and thousands and thousands of batteries the bearings I have also not had let go but
[00:31:11] I haven't run many motors with the bearings and the way that bearings are made there's infinitely more likely of a chance of a bearing Letting Go you've got an outer race you've got a whole bunch of balls you've got an inner race you've got a guard around around them usually plastic to keep the
[00:31:30] balls a little bit kind of separated you've got a dust cover you've got a C clip lots of stuff that can fail quad 66 flew a whole bunch of tiny whoop batteries backto back on bearing Motors versus bushing Motors and what he found was super interesting which is that the bearing Motors get
[00:31:52] noisier the bushing Motors don't I mean they are a little bit more noisy all the time but the bearing Motors start off quiet and then they start to get more noisy and that's not a good sign I have also heard that the bearings
[00:32:14] that are used in these motors are not rated there are not bearings that are inexpensive enough that are rated for the RPM that we're turning which is not a good thing and so as far as I'm concerned the bushings are are going to
[00:32:31] be more durable full stop and it doesn't seem like there's any significant difference in efficiency a lot of the bearing a lot of the bearing Motors are actually less efficient and so I'm sure that's I'm sure that's not down to the bearings I'm sure that is the construction of the motor but if bearings were
[00:33:00] significantly more efficient those Motors would at least be the same efficiency what I'm saying so I don't really see a point in the in the bearings there's no positives that come from them there's either no negatives or
[00:33:20] there could be some negatives of them getting a little bit louder but for me it if a motor has bearings okay if a motor has bushings okay it's there's there's it doesn't matter the the other the size of the motor the KV of the motor how efficient the motor is
[00:33:41] those are much more important things to choose your motors from so don't even let bearings versus bushings be on your radar as far as I'm concerned can I get a channel says Brain 3 makes a canopy for the mobul
[00:34:00] does brain 3D make a canopy for the mobul 6 canopies Brian does not no he doesn't really have any tiny whoop stuff I don't think where can I get a really good one when you say mob six cameras what what camera are you talking about tag me again and tell and say
[00:34:20] I've got such and such camera what's the best canopy for it tag me real quick tell me what camera you're talking about though will FPV says what are your thoughts about leaks with the DJI 04 light VTX I'm an hd0 guy but recently I bought DJI goggles 3 and my first 03 a unit for my
[00:34:39] four and my mind is blown of how good the quality is with the the DGI O3 air unit uh it's super exciting the the 04 light as long as DJI doesn't do some dumb with the mounting or the size of it or I don't
[00:35:00] know as long as they don't do something that prevents us from using it basically it looks insane being able to build a tiny whoop with 4K is kind of ridiculous it the the spec that I saw on it said that it was going to be 10 gram if that's just the weight of the
[00:35:24] VTX and then the camera is another few grams that's pushing the limits that because now we're talking like 12 13 grams total That's Heavy that's a heavy payload for a tiny whoop that'll probably make 65 mimet rigs a total no-go which is a bummer
[00:35:47] but not the end of the world we'll still try it for sure but that might make 75mm rigs the smallest size that you can really pick that thing up if if the whole thing thing though is 10 G if the the VTX and the camera are 10 G yeah away we go I I I will
[00:36:06] I'll I'll go all the way in and there'll be a drift car chasing rig with it there'll be a freestyle 65mm rig with it for 75 I will go directly to 2S by the speaking of the flight footage at the beginning of the live stream was the 75mm WalkSnail rig I think I
[00:36:26] might sell this if if you're desperate for a 1S WalkSnail rig and you don't mind paying for it because I'm not going to sell this cheap this is going to be like at least 250 bucks probably like 300 and I don't even know if I'm going to sell this or not
[00:36:47] but yeah if you're desperate for this build you might be able to talk me into selling it mobio 6 canopy that I've modified for light camera setup BetaFPV cross style F4 5 aamp AIO these are the best Motors that I've found boy
[00:37:06] oh boy did I did I test a lot of different Motors on this rig these are the BetaFPV 1102 2200s it'll come with a bunch of props the air air 75 frame the lightest frame available let me know but that's what you
[00:37:24] were watching at the beginning of the live stream so fingers fingers crossed for the DJI 04 light VTX that would be insane if we could build tiny whoops with that Wilco says Joe Preston nerd goggles for the win seatt PV wav him
[00:37:52] around where's Joe Joe Presto is it Joe presto no I don't Joe Presto ah there we go Joe Presto says anyone here with have a recommendation for magnification I need the solder whoop Mo whoop motor wires and I'm struggling
[00:38:15] dude big time Big Time big time Big Time so couple different things this guy is great it's not just magnification magnification is important but light is just as important this guy is ABS something like this is absolutely essential I don't use the
[00:38:43] magnification of this I just use this as a light and it's amazing as a light you you I I've known people to use the magnification here I don't personally like it but you might and if you don't have a good light that you can
[00:39:03] move around and put in the exact right position get one of these for sure they're they're not that expensive I think they're like 30 maybe 40 bucks so get one of these for sure and now you can put light in the exact right spot which is half of the battle maybe
[00:39:21] you'll like the magnification and now you got two for one out of it so that's half of it is is the light the other half of it is twofold these are absolutely essential these are called These are made by yako soon
[00:39:44] it doesn't matter there's 800 different companies that stamp their names on this exact set of what I refer to as nerd goggles they come with a whole bunch of different magnifying front pieces with different amounts of magnification you're going to want to run the the thickest ones that those offer the most
[00:40:02] magnification it's going to be about 2.5x they have a little LED on them and you can put batteries in here aaa's they get kind of heavy when you put the batteries in there and they become kind of uncomfortable for me so I run them without the batteries and use a light
[00:40:21] like this and it is the perfect combination 2.5x and being completely hands free with them right when they're on your head is absolutely amazing but 2.5x is not where you want to stop you also want something that's either 5x or 10x
[00:40:39] this is called a loop a Jeweler's Loop l u p get at the very least a 5x Jeweler's Loop there are a bunch of kits that I've seen on Amazon that have 5x 10x 15x 20x that's awesome too but at the very least you want
[00:41:01] 2.5x handsfree and then 5x to check your work so you do the work with these on your head and then you take them off and then you use this you hold this in your eye and then you get even closer and you check your work to make sure that the pads aren't bridged and that is how you do good quality work on small
[00:41:25] stuff you will start to use these on everything 5in rigs 3-in rigs tiny whoops having this 2 and 1 half X magnification makes a gigantic difference oh my God it's really it's incredible so
[00:41:46] there you go there should be links down in the description to the loop it might be a broken link though I think I might have to fix it that the nerd goggles might be on there as well but if if you just go to Amazon and you type in like I don't
[00:42:04] know magnifying goggles oh my god it works go magn look oh my god there it is there's the one yako soon holy you can get the exact same one that I've got and you can see here they come with a bunch of different
[00:42:21] magnifications but it's going to be it's like 1X 1.25 1 .5 1.75 so just grab the the the one with the most magnification it's going to be just about right do it oh it looks like why is there a USB port oh you can charge the
[00:42:41] batteries mine doesn't have that does it nah mine doesn't have that that's okay I really don't like it with the batteries in it's really heavy and uncomfortable makes a big difference though I promise you you're GNA love my nuts look at that guy Yak
[00:43:03] toon yeah these work too but I don't know yako soon without the batteries is very comfortable I can wear it for long periods of time Willie FPV says FPV is my therapy I'm not saying that I have a that I have depression but it helps me to be
[00:43:30] it helps me to stand straight with purpose to be happy in this In This Very hobby F FPV can be a little bit therapeutic but if you've got mental health going on therapy is therapy and therapy is what you should be looking at because
[00:43:50] it'll change your life and you'll live a much happier life and you'll learn about why your brain is doing the strange things and telling you the strange things that it's telling you so be careful don't let if you're struggling or if you just want to live a
[00:44:06] better life live live a happier life where you understand yourself even better and you treat people around you even better Talk therapy is the way to go for sure it's look I'll put it this way I've I've never talked to someone never that
[00:44:25] has gone to talk therapy and come out worse it's just it's just not the these people have studied human behavior and they've devoted their lives to helping other people live happier healthier
[00:44:43] lives and that's what they do and how would learning about how your brain works make your life worse just doesn't work so careful with that there are some things about FPV that can
[00:45:00] be therapeutic mainly that it pulls you into the present moment just imagine how cool it would be to be able to pull yourself into the present moment in the same way that FPV does whenever you want that's the work that you do
[00:45:19] in therapy also with meditation yeah wouldn't that be cool the the the the feeling of being like in the moment right now and just like everything else going away all the voices being silenced the work that you do in therapy is being able to do
[00:45:39] that at any time especially in bad times that's really the the that's the like Ultra magic about talk therapy is that you learn how to quiet your mind when you're in times of extreme stress and that's how people can perform Under
[00:46:02] Pressure so Kevin the alien says buddy love you wish you were here wish I was here more often it's all good brother we appreciate you when you're here Rock caller says coming from coming from one with autism anxiety depression and more I truly appreciate your heart thank you dude thank you dude keep
[00:46:23] fighting Uriel says preach bro thank you man double he says after what you said Wednesday night I checked it on my boy Ry and found out his dad is going through some bad Health stuff and he's been keeping it to himself we definitely got to look out for each
[00:46:36] other there you go that's it we hide we don't want to burden each other with stuff even though friendships are exactly that right like a big part of friendships are showing up for that other person when they need it but the culture that we live in and mental illness one of the things that it does really well is
[00:47:01] make you feel like you should not burden other people especially your friends right that's the shittiest thing ever it's like no don't burden your friends you love them you don't want them to have to deal with your pain as well but it's not that they want to deal with
[00:47:19] your pain they want to help you in the same way that you do right if if you had a friend call you and be likeI'm struggling so bad right now I just need somebody to talk to how good would that feel how good would that feel for someone to reach out to you because they trust you and they know that you will
[00:47:40] make them feel better holy right how how how amazing is that give that to someone else why is it so hard to do it to be the person that reaches out to the other person why is that so
[00:48:00] hard brutal brutal you have to but you have to you got to figure out a way to do it make a habit of it right every week twice a week three times a week put a alarm on your phone Wednesday night at 7 o'clock Friday night at 4:00 Friday at 5:00 whatever put alarms on
[00:48:25] your phone Reach Out out to someone reach out to John reach out to Jim he struggling if if we build a habit of it or if we have something that pops up on a regular schedule to remind us that's a good way to get into the habit of doing it if you're not doing it I'm not I'm
[00:48:46] not I'm not in the habit of doing that I reach out to people when they get back to me though I I I my version of making sure that I reach out to people is that I try to always be like the the the last comment right like when Patrick and I text back and forth I'm I I I try
[00:49:10] to be the last one to say something and then when he reads it sometimes a couple days later he then gets back to me I'll sometimes then read it a couple days later and then I'll get back to him right and but that can very easily fall apart right one one person says something that doesn't necessarily need
[00:49:28] a reply and then you they get buried they get buried in your text messages or or wherever and so I think there's something to building a habit out of this and having a reminder once a week twice a week every night how how how awful would it be every
[00:49:49] single night to have your phone sayreach out to anyone and then it gets it's been doing that for 3 weeks and you're like well man I've reached out to everybody who am I going to reach out to now oh my God my cousin
[00:50:03] Andrea I haven't talked to her in three months and you reach out to your cousin Andrea and she's like oh my God I was just thinking about you the other day wouldn't that be awesome how are you doing I just bought a Miata the same one that that I I had when I was 17 that you drove and changed
[00:50:22] your whole car trajectory now I know that right this is how we offset how solitary the world is becoming unbelievable that the internet has made us the internet the thing that that connects us so well right has also disconnected us so much
[00:50:58] insane insane but instead of bitching about it instead of making excuses and let's find ways to fix it doubles FPV says Nope we got that limit says please give me a trick for the Cockroach frame and the goddamn c clips that keep the motor stuck I'm sure you probably had the issue drill
[00:51:25] them out 9 64s is the drill bit that you want I'm going to type it into chat 9 64s or bigger if you don't have 9 64s go up to whatever one size bigger than that is but 9 64s is just barely big enough to get the c clips to stop rubbing you can sit there with a file and just f
[00:51:56] them all out but don't do that to yourself get a 964th drill bit or one size up from that and just drill it out real quick be really careful hey what's up Ian how are you brother thanks for coming be really careful the the supports on the Cockroach frame are
[00:52:17] super lightweight and super fragile you want to hold don't obviously you're not going to do it with the motors in here but get get a couple of fingers in here so that you can keep this from rotating if you if you hold the frame like this and you just send that drill bit through it's going to it's going to just rotate
[00:52:42] that mount motor base right off and just ruin it so make sure that you're you're in here kind of pinching on that so that and be careful don't just run the drill bit through full stank put the drill bit in a little bit just by hand you I mean you you really don't even need a drill you can actually do
[00:53:01] it completely by hand you can get enough grip on this drill bit like this to put this is the 964th drill bit to put it in there and just with your fingers rotate it around because it's not removing a lot of plastic it's removing some but be careful I've I've
[00:53:16] the first one that I did I ruined the frame by doing it that way but 960 force is enough run it in there I'll run it straight through and then I'll put a little bit of an angle on it and kind of work it around like this just to kind of get some of the knock some of the chips off on the top and the bottom and then sometimes you can
[00:53:35] then go in there with a file just to clean it up a little bit more but 964 that's what you want Andrew Taylor says I've been watching The Wonder Years since you mentioned it and it's so good I stopped watching it I I've what's what's it on is it on Prime or is it Netflix I forget
[00:54:01] Jesus Christ I watched The Wonder Years growing up and I didn't even realize that that I I knew that I'd watched it but I didn't remember anything about the show for whatever reason I bet it was on Hulu and I I cancelled Hulu I think it's on Hulu isn't it
[00:54:19] uh I was canceling Hulu so I was kind of looking around for like what else do I want to watch real quick before this ends and Wonder Years was on there and I was like oh my God I remember this show it's probably terrible and I put a couple
[00:54:38] episodes on with Maggie and I was blown away at how at how Progressive it was at how good it was at the there are some things that are very like 80s about it like the the father being sort of like bordering on abusive but like they kind of deal with that here
[00:55:03] and there I don't know if they deal with it more later in the show I only watched the first few of the first season but I I was absolutely blown away at how at how many things held up in the show and so if you're looking for something to watch check it out and if you grew up with that show you'll there'll be a special kind of
[00:55:23] Magic to it for you ler says just came back from a walk in the woods with good friends that that are mentally having a down that's mentally having a down right now and you're right we talked about it and he says 100% this day helped him more than any therapy session
[00:55:50] man human relationships are so valuable and we take them for granted we take them for granted Uriel says you talked about emotional ups and downs and lows and highs there's a window to go deeper the story of eart toy he spiraled up in in the window when he was
[00:56:10] up in a motion and found the window to up yeah eart toi is unbelievable super helpful if if you're going to go towards that like kind of transformative place of really trying to improve your life and
[00:56:28] understanding your brain lots of good resources there I I I don't know if I would start with tole maybe start with like healthy gamer GG but Ard is has some some
[00:56:47] phenomenal stuff you'll you'll run into a lot of eart tole stuff on with with like Instagram memes and whatnot if if you start to look into this stuff you'll very quickly find lots of sound bites and chunks of good info from him Preston roach says what's up
[00:57:08] homie I don't get to make your live streams very often mostly catch them in the morning glad you're doing better homie thank you man the wadler says man what's up brother blue sky FPV with a 10 Californian Canadian dollar Super Chat thank you homie he says thank for being here always fun and helpful
[00:57:27] question how can I tell if the VTX on the beta air BetaFPV air is going bad I get lots of Flicker and breakup in the video could that be the UFL or a bad VTX it could be either you can't fix either one of them all you can really do is change to a different antenna to see if that makes it better there is no
[00:57:51] repairing these things unfortunately so swap the antenna out it's sounds like the VTX is on its way out at which point like you might as well you might rip the UFL off when you swap the antenna out but it's already on its way out anyway so I mean on one hand
[00:58:08] maybe wait until it gets so bad that you can't fly through it because as we've talked about the the UFL ports on a lot of these lightweight new aios will rip right off the board when you try to unplug the antenna for the first time or the second time so I would wait until it's really
[00:58:30] really bad at that point all you can do is swap the antenna out there's no repairing these there's no there's nothing you can drop into the CLI that says like set uncore working VTX so it kind of doesn't matter what the problem is it just sort of
[00:58:52] is can I get a channel says thank you again blue sky for the generous Super Chat can I get a channel says and it's the hd0 mobula 6 BNF free style HD any good durable canopy will suffice suffice I bash a stuff
[00:59:15] hd0 mobula 6 BNF free style HD can I get a channel is this a continuation of the previous question where you said what's a good canopy hd0 mobula 6 I I think it is hold on all right hd0 mulus 6 comes
[00:59:50] with what camera is this what you have is this it what camera are you okay so it's the camera with the it looks it's the camera with the holes in the
[00:59:50] corners I think so if you have the camera with the holes in the corners my recommendation is going to be to use the the old school mobula 6 canopy which you might only be able to get from nope there you go so this is
[00:59:50] this is going to be my recommendation it's going to come with this little backing piece that you screw to the camera with two of these screws you I
[00:59:50] you're probably going to have to use a file to open up the front of this canopy a little bit you can just cram the camera through there but it's going to it's going to touch against this and it's not great so sit there for 10 minutes with a file and just open up
[00:59:50] this this front opening for that camera th this canopy was designed for the Run cam Nano 3 so the front opening is very narrow cuz that camera had a tiny little lens with a little bit of work you can make that canopy work totally fine
[00:59:50] with the bigger lensed cameras you can kind of see right there that I've there's some like boogers and whatnot that's just from filing it up you see on the bottom there see how I kind of filed it to be a little bit bigger super easy to do
[00:59:50] doesn't affect its durability at all and this is the most durable canopy that I have found so that's going to be my recommendation you can also get this canopy from Tiny woop.com I believe Weeble as well yes Weeble also has it they have it in the Smoke crotch gray color here they also have it in the
[00:59:50] clear color and so that's going to be my recommendation up tilt is adjustable which is kind of nice with the little screws on the outside great canopy it's my favorite canopy J monk says I'm interested and paying for the rig that you used for RC drift cars walk
[00:59:50] snail I have one WalkSnail I have two analog ones ah man you're like a Day Too Late I think yet just yesterday I had one of them for sale on my Etsy store I I built one with an iflight Blitz AO and I had it up for sale on my Etsy
[00:59:50] store and it is now gone you're that that's insane you're like one day too late I don't have another one to sell you I I typically don't I don't build rigs to sell them because it's just not a good way to make
[00:59:50] money the the BNF's that exist are cheaper than than what you can buy the parts for and so then for someone to spend an hour or two building a rig if they want to get any money for their time they're going to have to
[00:59:50] charge significantly more than what a BNF will charge so that's why like you don't see people doing that really and the people that do it they have to charge a lot of money you got to charge three four $500 for a tiny whoop and that's just most people aren't
[00:59:50] willing to pay that this camera is gonna not this camera this Canon software is going to freeze in a second I can see it starting to struggle so
[00:59:50] man sorry I I don't have one for sale at the moment and I said I I I I don't usually build stuff to sell it if you were like desperate for me to build you build you one of those just to get you in the ballpark like an
[00:59:50] analog one would I would basically have to charge you like $300 for it I and then for like a WalkSnail one it would be like 350 minimum maybe even like closer to four so it's expensive the the builds are not all that difficult though you're
[00:59:50] you're cutting wires to length to the exact right length to go between the AO and the VTX on the WalkSnail one on an analog setup there's not really any soldering you're going to plug Motors into the 2g4 you're going to plug a camera into the 2g4 you're going to
[00:59:50] print one of the Batwing mounts you're going to need to solder up a different battery lead with BT 2.0 but that's about it so not a super not a super difficult build but I don't have any at the moment unfortunately sorry brother Joe
[00:59:50] Presto with a 249 pound Super Chat he says thanks for the magnification explanation you're certainly welcome Uriel says at Wednesday I stay up drinking till 5: am to join your podcast I appreciate it brother I I appreciate your
[00:59:50] sacrifice Uriel also says people think they're Anonymous on the internet and can be keyboard Warriors boy is that the truth limit says something YouTube scrolled me to the bottom for no reason trying to find my place there we go limit says thanks mate I broke a frame trying to
[00:59:50] file them it's you got to be careful fre lojo says 1918s would be the next setup from The Next Step Up from 964th thank you dude skull 901 says how you feeling today heartbroken but not uncontrollably sobbing every five seconds so that's good but tonight
[00:59:50] is going to be super difficult because we're going to go to slow po at at the same time that we've gone to slow po every single Sunday all year and Wilder's not going to be there and a bunch of people are going
[00:59:50] to show up that don't know and we're going to tell them and we're going to have a discussion with the group about how we best keep this thing going and how we we all can continue to show up on Sundays and celebrate
[00:59:50] Wilder and not let the community that he brought together here fall apart so tonight's going to be excruciating but I I would not miss this for the world I I I don't care how hard it is I'm going to do it and I'm going to continue to figure out how to keep
[00:59:50] this thing going on Sunday nights if if I have to be the instructor I'm whatever like that's that is like horrifying to me because I'm not that good I'm not nearly good enough to be like a proper instructor but the flip side of that is that I know that I could teach
[00:59:50] someone that is just showing up for their first or second time a bunch of really cool stuff that and I and I know they that they would have fun I know that I could accomplish that I'll I'll never be even
[00:59:50] half the instructor that Wilder was but I know that I have things to share with the world and I and I'm sure that he would be proud of me for that so um we can do hard
[00:59:50] things we can do hard things and as a beginner you don't need a super super super super super high level instructor all the having the the better the instructor is the the more value they can give in like the really subtle
[00:59:50] stuff as a new person you're not going to touch the subtle stuff for a long time right and so if that's what it has to be that's what it'll be to keep this thing going so that'll be interesting I'll be nerve-wracking as hell but
[00:59:50] I can do it we could do hard things there it is did I call it or did I call it hang on way to go Canon thanks for making software that sucks ass coming back come on come on on EOS webcam utility stop
[00:59:50] being a giant steaming pile of thank you Blue Sky says thanks tried new antenna still bad he says what no setor VTX uncore work please SAQ says Brian Hedges says in all
[00:59:50] capitals we want a show what do you mean by that Brian do you are you saying that you don't think this is a show if so you can go nothing's keeping you here this is what this live stream is the majority of this live stream is questions and answers you guys have
[00:59:50] questions I have answers if somebody asks a question 10 other people have that same question and so the most value that I can possibly give to the FPV community is Q&A sessions if that's not what you're looking for there's lots of stuff to watch on YouTube and there goes speaking of
[00:59:50] YouTube YouTube just crashed let's relaunch that all right coming back hold on about chat there we go all right I probably just lost a bunch of the chat I sure did that sucks YouTube needs to get their together I lost a chunk of the chat
[00:59:50] so if I oh wait no there we go Blue Sky okay we're good we're good I'm caught up enough where I didn't miss anything SAQ says would you advise to stick with the native canopy for the air 65 or go for some third party canopy I've experienced that the camera angle seems a bit high on it the air 65 and air
[00:59:50] 75 canopies seem to be pretty durable I have heard of people breaking them but they seem pretty durable the the camera the camera angle is a little bit high but I don't necessarily think that it's too high as long as you have it on the farthest forward setting
[00:59:50] right like these different holes back here are for different up tilts so you want to make sure that you're using the the rear most the rear most hole in the canopy that'll give you the lowest uptilt if this is still too much uptilt for you what you can do is like make
[00:59:50] more of an angle here like just push push the the lens into less uptilt and it and you can put some like memory or whatever into the plastic so you can make a little bit lower up tilt for it if you want less uptilt you're going to be looking for a BetaFPV
[00:59:50] CO3 camera mount that's what this camera is CO3 and on thingiverse there are lots and lots and lots of different camera mount options the a known way is the the hell is it called I can't think of it's of what it's called the MC
[00:59:50] stinky where's it at this is sort of a little bit of an older school camera mount but it's proven to be a good one and it's called the MC stinky dropping a link into the chat right now there you guys go
[00:59:50] there's a link to it in the in the summary section here it breaks down the different versions of the mix stinky the regular one is for cameras with a 10 mm lens 12mm body big MC stiny is for larger cameras yada y yada so the MC stinky is a good one there are
[00:59:50] lighter weight options now I just searched for tiny whoop camera mount oh God that's not a good search these are all old ass ones yeah the MC stinky is a is is a really good one so check that one out hold on what if I search for
[00:59:50] c03 a look at that so there you go if you search for c03 there's a whole bunch of BetaFPV CO3 specific oh there's even a MC stinky specifically for the CO3 I'll be damned so search thing of verse for CO3 and you'll find a
[00:59:50] whole bunch of them in all different up tilts good question brother can I get a channel says excellent thanks so much you're certainly welcome PTO 801 says just for statistics recently recently I managed to rip a UFL off of a 2g4 while flying damn I have not done that
[00:59:50] yet boy does it suck to rip the ufls off of these aios can I get a channel says yep excellent sweet I'll get it from Zoe thanks for showing the example you're certainly welcome level one drone says I bought an ort antenna from rdq they are an amazing upgrade but a
[00:59:50] bit long so I bought two from your Etsy page is there a way to shorten longer ort antennas technically yes but man is that going to be a pain in the ass to shorten them you're going to have to deal with you're going to have to deal with cutting this wire shorter and
[00:59:50] then redoing what you're seeing here what this is is that they've Stripped Away the outer black plastic sheathing and then there's a braid that goes around that a shielding you have to solder that shielding down to a part on the PCB here and then you have to cut that shielding for this Center area here
[00:59:50] which is a clear plastic covering around the inner core and then the inner core is that last little ball of solder there it is absolutely doable but is a but is a total pain in the ass so you've got and you have to do it in the
[00:59:50] right order you have to cut it down and then you have to strip a little bit off to get the inner active element and then you have to leave a little section of the clear plastic and then you have to go around with like a it sucks the
[00:59:50] the micro vs are cheap enough where it's going to take you like an hour to do it and the the the micro vs are not expensive enough to like warrant that but it's totally doable if you if you YouTube
[00:59:50] search for like UFL antenna DIY maybe here you go spoon FPV is probably going to go through it oh sorry I searched for u.fl space antennas space DIY I can almost guarantee you that spoon FPV here is going to walk you through it's looks like he's got an overhead camera
[00:59:50] so he's going to hopefully show it yeah with a little bit of searching you'll you'll figure out how these antennas work but the the basics behind this are the antenna is four things it's an outer black black or clear sheathing
[00:59:50] like to make sure that it's not conductive and then it's an inner braid that is the ground and then it's another inner piece of plastic to Shield it to not to Shield it to well kind of to Shield it and then there's an inner set of wires which are the actual active element and so
[00:59:50] that's how an antenna works you got to solder the ground uh braid to ground you got to solder the active element to the active element that's how it works but YouTube's got your
[00:59:50] back Uriel says mention Alan Watts and SED Guru they're good teachers as well I've heard of Alan Watts I haven't heard of SED Guru lots of good stuff out there lot lots of lots of ways to get a handle on your brain
[00:59:50] yuriel says just do it that's again what you think Justin Müller says there came a new hd0 release candidate version yesterday that's pretty cool Justin Müller says for the goggles oh nice love that YouTube just did the thing again scrolling back up to find my place BMF
[00:59:50] Spade says I'm waiting for my 1S 450 MH batteries to come in so I ran a 1S 300 MH battery my meteor 75 Pro flew pretty good and for 3 minutes just wondering if you ever tried running a 300 MH emac made fatter 300 Mah 1s
[00:59:50] batteries that fit in the 75 frames really well that I messed around with for a while on low power setups they were okay but I moved away from those low power 75 setups a while ago and then those batteries just
[00:59:50] became not enough the 450s are actually like just barely enough for most of my 1S 75 millim rigs but if you're going to cruise or if you have a lower powered set of motors on your 75 a 3009 battery will work Justin Müller says you did the antenna mod I tried myself with a spare antenna and the video performance was horrific
[00:59:50] switched back and fine what are we talking about here Justin did did the a mod on what SAQ says great advice thanks a bunch what would you print the minky in you have to print it in TPU anything other than TPU and you won't be able to get the camera into it so all of these camera mounts you got to print them in TPU level one drone says
[00:59:50] shortening the antenna sounds like a real plan I'll just get them from your page and play with another time hang on to the full length ones there'll be a rig at some point that that's the exact right length for and you'll be golden Justin Muller says it seems to have much improvements but I don't trust
[00:59:50] this firmware since it's one day out I don't blame you all right I'm caught up on chat Let's Jaden s says I've been watching a lot of these streams and this is definitely the most boring one yet then leave I ain't keeping you here go I'm not in the mood for this today all right nothing keeping you
[00:59:50] here I don't come to your work and tell you how to do your job right not in the mood sorry to be a dick but not in the mood Justin Miller says with the ground plane sticked on what do you mean did you remove the ground plane from a whip antenna and now you're noticing
[00:59:50] that that it's you crossed the line with that one Jaden see you later hope you didn't want to ever Post in this post a comment or in my live streams ever again because you're not going to be able to all right oh no we got to turn it on first
[00:59:50] firing up veloc drone hopefully there's no updates no updates all right Brian HED just says I think he's having a breakdown if you're talking about me oh you have not seen me had a breakdown my friend stick around you will at some
[00:59:50] point it's true I'm not usually this angry but when people act like I get angry go figure all right let's Dive In let's go to let's see what construction is about I don't remember this one what the hell is construction let's take a look the name of the room is seiti FPV and it's in the US region
[00:59:50] again as I mentioned earlier in the Stream I'm going to be oh boy Brian HED just says if people can't give criticism then it's just a dictatorship okay I'm fine with this being a dictatorship this is my live stream this is not this is not a democracy the there this is not
[00:59:50] democracy FPV this is CiottiFPV if you don't like this get the out if you like this stay but if you don't like it go away I don't need the look there there's a rule in life that you that you need to understand and it's very simple
[00:59:50] it's four words don't be a dick that's it don't be a dick in your whole life if you just don't be a dick the people that you interact with will not react like this just don't be a dick if you're about to
[00:59:50] say something that might come off as you being a dick don't say it nothing good comes from you saying it nobody wants to hear it just don't be a dick in your entire life and people won't behind your back be guy's kind of a dick I
[00:59:50] don't guy he's a dick I'm only acting like a dick because people in the chat were acting like dicks so don't be a dick and then other people won't act like a dick get it not super difficult should have learned this by
[00:59:50] now I'm glad to be the one that's telling you this if you haven't learned this by now because it's really important oh man lots of people want to get banned here we go this is easy this is easy I don't want people in the chat that are dicks
[00:59:50] hold on let me get caught up on chat Justin Müller says I'd removed the ground PL here we go all right so we're getting to the bottom of it I had removed the ground plane on the air 65 25 M in my living room and without the ground plane I had Total video loss
[00:59:50] really in the process of removing the ground plane I wonder if I whoever just bought something on Etsy thank you I wonder if you could have I wouldn't think that you would have been able to burn through the
[00:59:50] burn through to the active element that's weird dude the only thing that I can think of is that if you put too much heat into it you blew through now you would know it dude that's weird I has
[00:59:50] anybody else modified one of the antennas and had that happen I have not if somebody else has had that happen has removed the ground plane from one of these whip antennas and the and it up the antenna type it in chat because that's
[00:59:50] that's odd that's odd wish I could help Danny says I think maybe don't stream today you're obviously not in a good head space and you're abusing a lot of long-term Subs what long-term Subs am I abusing
[00:59:50] the only people that are getting pissed are names that I've never seen before so J monk says it's your show Uriel says don't act on it cut them out the BG says you do know we all love you throw the out I do know
[00:59:50] that I do know that mdnf PV says you're the best bro thank you dude Yuri says who here thinks SE FV is is the one who's wrong here if so say SE is is wrong you why you guys are really going after me today interesting
[00:59:50] YouTube did the thing again trying to find my place dronen says I fear stream is being trolled I've never seen so many in here before okay so it's not just me yeah I've I've never seen these names before yeah I'm tempted to
[00:59:50] this is interesting so huh there's a whole bunch of people saying Ciotti is wrong I don't recognize any of those names I try not to be a complete I'm very tempted to just kick all those people but I'm trying to follow my
[00:59:50] own rule of not being a dick what a conundrum what a conundrum I'm going to let you guys stay I'm going to air in favor of peace but I I think you're right drones in Mr batch says true
[00:59:50] words H I'll let you guys stay for now SAQ says you advised me in an earlier stream to continue work working with Acro since I practice with 25 batteries a day I've been really working with it and have been having a f fantastic time I love that brother I
[00:59:50] love that let me let me work through the rest of chat with while I'm flying around a little bit psych says I've reached a point where I can fly comfortably and accurate well this is interesting trying to fly while reading the chat I can kind of see
[00:59:50] the trees in the in my peripheral vision but how do I move on from flying stable to be able to do some tricks I feel the nerves when flying o man lots of lots of flight time the the nerves are real and you have to figure out how
[00:59:50] to get through them one of the only ways is to just pound stick time oh my God I can't believe it made it over the roof speaking of so the there is there are some things that you can you can kind of
[00:59:50] just there are some things that you can learn from watching me or from working with me on Fiverr in a flight instruction session there are other things that you just have to brute force and so there's nothing wrong with just
[00:59:50] brute forcing a lot of this stuff because you're going to have to at some point anyway that was interesting I just drove it into the ground and so put the time in you're going to have to at some point I think I just got mid AED
[00:59:50] come to the Flying Acro here's another so I'm gonna give you that but I'm also going to give you when you watch other people copy them basically when when every single so there's only four there's only four axises right pitch roll yaw and throttle
[00:59:50] so every single FPV video on YouTube you can watch it and everybody is just using a combination of four of those four things when you watch that stuff and you see do somebody do something that looks cool rewind it watch it 15 times times in a row and you will figure out exactly what they did they pitched forward they
[00:59:50] rolled over they yawed they rolled back over you just have to kind of sit there and dissect it and then you go and you try it and the simulator is the perfect spot to try that stuff and so those are the two quick simple things that I'll give you that you have to put a ton of time into anyway so go
[00:59:50] forth and put the time in Justin Muller says VTX is fine I've put it right back on and it's fine way more performance with wow just wa I mean it does removing the ground plane does absolutely absolutely affect the performance in
[00:59:50] a negative Direction usually though it's flying around in your house you're okay and the the reduction performance is not that bad houses are constructed out of different materials though and so I don't know a brick house it might be more of a problem than whatever the hell this house that I'm in is constructed
[00:59:50] out of so to each his or her own luckily those whip antennas are all over the damn place and so you can get lots of them we are watching quad Goblin for now while I get caught back up on chat he's doing some proximity stuff inside the house flying up some
[00:59:50] stairs the right Wells says cfpv has I don't know I don't know what that means mad Tech says I try to be a complete jonesen says I watch almost every stream I've never seen these names either can I get a channel says don't destroy your
[00:59:50] analytics whatever I don't care about the analytics I care about getting good information out there and building an awesome community of awesome people the the people that know me know EX exactly who I am the people that don't know me it's
[00:59:50] whatever watch a couple of my live streams you'll see exactly who I am if that's the kind of person that you want to watch on YouTube great if it's not
[00:59:50] that's fine too no skin off my ass Justin Müller says I think they're Bots don't let them no they can't be Bots if if if they replied to that one person to say they think I'm wrong yeah they're not Bots but I mean whatever J monk says they're
[00:59:50] just trying to troll you we love you brother the right Wells says as you have both what would be the best option for either WalkSnail and hd0 wait what as you have both what would be the best option for either WalkSnail and hd0 being your only goggles WalkSnail goggles x with hd0 vrx or HD zero
[00:59:50] goggles with WalkSnail vrx Let me let me put it this way R Wells first of all I don't know much about the goggles X they had such a bad launch we are now watching Pito they had such a bad launch that I
[00:59:50] lost interest and I have not seen like major improvements that it felt like they've needed so I'm not the guy in terms of goggles X but here's what I'll tell you the old school WalkSnail goggles are super comfortable super lightweight
[00:59:50] and they're just a fantastic set of goggles the HD zero goggles are much less comfortable but you can put an actual analog receiver on the side and then the DVR is amazing so if
[00:59:50] you want the best possible analog DVR HD zero goggles are a great choice the Sky Zone goggles this is dead chicken FPV we're watching now the Sky Zone goggles also have the good DVR so there are Skyzone analog goggles where you can get just good just as good
[00:59:50] of a DVR and then maybe hook up a WalkSnail vrx I hate to give you more options but yeah sometimes I have to do that so hopefully I made the decision a little bit easier hopefully I didn't just confuse things more P Cano free H says do your thing King thank you dude Ken I get a channel says use the trolls to your advantage
[00:59:50] there's no advantage to trolls Morton upshot says just ignore them let your mod screen the mountain fly buddy mad Tech says I feel sick watching The Sim on the stream LOL every every damn time Mr batch says true words from you I meant your stream your rules
[00:59:50] don't like it leave that's true don't dick around uh Justin mller says I totally must say though I live in a high RF environment with eight different Wi-Fi routers there it is there there's your problem okay so that's what's going on and Yoki says Ciotti you're genuinely a
[00:59:50] good ass dude and love the community if anyone hangs in here with the gangang just for a couple streams and it isn't immediately impair thanks guys all faxes retracted a message I was just about to read it that's okay all right rock crawler says should we be seeing the video he's referencing yes sorry guys I didn't realize I was on the wrong
[00:59:50] scene uh these people got me all red up you're watching dead chicken FPV right now okay so let let me just fly for a minute to kind of hit the reset button madtech here hopefully this hopefully this will make you less this will make you less dizzy I I try to fly as smooth as I can it's something I've been working
[00:59:50] on for a long time in hopes that normies can watch me fly and not get sick what was that I hit that little bit of scaffolding there you go M de maybe that's less nausea inducing for
[00:59:50] you as I do something that's a little bit nausea inducing trying to get through that scaffolding one of the so I mean in in case anybody's interested in like how how you can fly in a way that not just FPV Pilots can can kind of watch you fly
[00:59:50] and not have that like ious sort of reaction it has a lot to do with the horizon line like everything that that people have watched on TV and movies has pretty much the Horizon leveled out and so it's going to be a lot of it's
[00:59:50] going to be a lot of stick coordination if you look down at my sticks in the bottom here in order to keep the Horizon level I have to coordinate my sticks As I push left roll I push left yaw and when you do them in the same ratio the The Horizon stays nice and
[00:59:50] flat and so that's one of the big things is to keep the Horizon flat so you do a lot of stick coordination and you fly around kind of like a almost like a tiny whoop almost like an RC car where like you're just sort of driving it around you try to keep the Horizon flat for as long as you
[00:59:50] can and as as much as you possibly can that in my opinion is the one big thing as soon as you start doing a lot of roll stuff you lose people I mean that the pitch stuff is less so because like people have seen front flips it's still a lot but when you start to lose
[00:59:50] the Horizon and do a lot of roll stuff that's when you get into like a lot of this stick bang kind of insanity and that's what gets really dizzying in my opinion it's really hard to fly around without roll but because like even if you just want to do a 90° turn
[00:59:50] like if I just want to do a 90° turn around this building if I'm only using the y axis see I have to turn in I have to turn in to kind of dig in or you do like a wide line and then you create a bunch of distance there so if if you start playing around with coordinating your y your roll and your
[00:59:50] yaw it's a very different flying style and it's really difficult but it's super super super fun and it's like a Gateway into cinematic flying and that's kind of one of the ways you can get away with a bunch of a bunch of pitch right is not that doesn't really make you dizzy
[00:59:50] there and it and it shows a really interesting perspective that you can't get from photography drones and so there you go the the other thing though is just how quickly you roll you can actually add some roll in
[00:59:50] and have it not be dizzying but it has to be slow you have to really slow it down and in order to slow your roll down in order to slow your roll you've got to start connecting stuff if you're if if you're going to roll fast you can
[00:59:50] make lots of quick Corrections and you can fly like really really in air quotes technically because by Rolling this much you give yourself a million little miniature opportunities to make Corrections in order to fly with really
[00:59:50] low roll rates or just only rotate slowly like I have pretty good rates right this is 700 degrees a second but I I try to not use that 700° a second unless I absolutely have to or unless I'm doing it for a purpose like to add drama right pop of
[00:59:50] 700° there is super interesting but then you get out of it and then you start to roll a lot slower and when you roll a lot slower like this you're going to have to like sort of minmax everything you're going to have to minmax like your elevation so I'm really low big throttle burst and
[00:59:50] just let it hang let it hang let it hang let it hang let it hang and then I'm really low again and that's what I'm going to catch it that's when that's when I'm going to pick up the throttle again again right next to the ground because I took this whole time to let it roll as slowly as I possibly can and
[00:59:50] then and so you kind of have to if if you're going to really slow your roll you're going to have to min max your your elevation in a lot of cases but man does that look cool right like I I absolutely love the way it looks it also comes off as like it looks like you kind
[00:59:50] of planned that out and you really planned to jump the entire building the other thing that's going to happen that you'll just notice happened is you're going to crash a lot when you when you commit to this very slow amount of roll and pitch in order for it to not come off as a
[00:59:50] mistake you're going to just hit stuff so you're going to start crashing a lot more when you start flying like this but it's worth it in the simulator who cares right the the other way to think about this and the way that I teach this in the Fiverr sessions is is two words and the words are leave it and so
[00:59:50] well let me use myself for an example if if I was instructing myself in in how to build on this I would say like all right I'm going to tell you I'm going to say the words leave it and then you can't you can't move your sticks the only stick that you can move is the throttle and so I would say leave it right now
[00:59:50] leave it leave it leave it leave it and so now all I'm allowed to do is fly with the throttle I can't move the roll I can't move the pitch I can only fly with the throttle and I'm going to I I I don't think I can do it because of the stream delay but I'm going to I'm going to try to do it in a minute and
[00:59:50] so another example would be leave it leave it leave the sticks leave the sticks I'm allowed to fly with the throttle but I have to leave the sticks where they are how long can I go well there's your answer that's as longer as long as I could go before making a correction and when I teach
[00:59:50] people in in the one-on-one sessions I will literally make them crash I'll tell them to leave it leave it leave it leave it leave it leave it they're flying with the throttle they almost got into the building they crashed who cares you crashed it's a simulator it's all good
[00:59:50] this is this is a drill to practice in the simulator not in real life because you're going to crash over and over and over again and again the the main point is put your sticks in a position leave them there and fly with the throttle and see how long you can fly with just the throttle
[00:59:50] and you're going to crash a lot and it's going to look terrible but you're forcing yourself to sort of get used to Min maxing this I still kind of haven't changed where the sticks are at I'm still kind of flying with the throttle H it's going to cause a lot of crashes especially in tight areas like this but hopefully you guys kind of get are are
[00:59:50] picking up what I'm putting down this is we're watching quad Goblin so he the stream delay is going to prevent him from being able to really do this but I'm going to give you guys an ex well he's already actually doing it see look his right stick is frozen and he's just flying with the throttle let me try to catch somebody
[00:59:50] that's actually not doing it this is pito so if I was instructing Pito in a Fiverr session I would like wait I would wait I would wait I would wait for him to put a stick input in I'm still kind of waiting hey is kind of doing this let me keep going dead chicken all right so yeah so he's moving the sticks around so I would I would wait
[00:59:50] wait wait wait and I would be like all right dead chicken he's kind of doing it too I can tell that he was dead chicken just fly normal just fly normal let's see what the stream delay is like just fly normal here he goes all right so now he's flying normal right so I would wait I would wait I would wait and I would be
[00:59:50] like okay ready and I'm gonna wait for him to like do something with both roll and pitch so this is all fine we're just navigating we're just navigating that's okay that's okay I'm going to wait leave it right there bang leave that and so he
[00:59:50] had that big roll rotation and I would force him to leave that stick input and only fly with the throttle that that's what we're trying to do and it and it's like I said you're going to crash a lot but it is going to force you to work the throttle the reason why this
[00:59:50] works shooker we're going to watch you in a second I forgot to hit on this the the reason that this works is that we have this tendency to like do a move and then finish the move and they like all right cool where's the next move there's the next move all right cool I finished that move all right I want to play around with this tree all right
[00:59:50] next move orbit we're going to do an orbit okay and I'm done doing the orbit all right now I'm gonna come over here and I'm gonna I'm gonna do this all right cool now I did that move now I'm gonna come over here and I'm gonna do this and I'm gonna I'm gonna be very drastic about this right and so it's like all right I'm gonna come over here
[00:59:50] and then okay I'm going to do this all right I want to interact with this thing cool I went through there all right I'm going to move over here all right I'm not lined up right I'm going to move over here see all the wiggling if you've ever caught yourself doing this wiggling this is what we're trying to break you out of th this
[00:59:50] whole like leave the sticks where they are is one of the best ways to get you out of that and it's connecting everything all we're really doing is teaching you how to connect all of this stuff it's accomplishes a couple things at once which is really slick but one of the things it really does is connect all
[00:59:50] of these movements so that you can't do this you can't do this wiggle where you're like wait no I'm not right oh I'm not lined up right all right hold on I want to go through that window I want to go through that window I want to go
[00:59:50] correction correction correction all I made it through the window in the process of making it through the window it looked like you were the most like
[00:59:50] insecure unsteady flyer ever right because you're like correction correction correction and so this whole approach of like putting the sticks somewhere and leaving them it's going to force you to so if you're trying to line up that window Gap right if if I'm practicing this and I try to line up this window Gap but I don't get it right
[00:59:50] that's okay we go to the left of the building and then we go to around this tree we hit this tree but then we line something else up and it what it ends up doing is it creates these opportunities I didn't know that it was going to wrap around the building but I just left the sticks where they were and then it just magically happened
[00:59:50] here's the other piece though when you move the roll stick it is immediately obvious even when you move it a little bit right you can see that super easily I'm only moving the roll stick a little bit but you can see the changes it's making pitch same deal even if you move it a little bit you can see the massive change y same deal
[00:59:50] massive change throttle what the hell how come how come I can move the throttle so much and you can barely tell I'm moving the throttle all the way up all the way down as fast as I can but everything still looks nice and smooth
[00:59:50] it's because the throttle has to move the entire 600 G of 5in rig that I'm flying right now the roll only has to move the weight of the motors same thing with the pitch same thing with the yard all so those axises are super
[00:59:50] reactive and with that super reactivity comes the ability for the viewer to see every single little thing that you're doing every single little mistake that you make oh let me correct let me correct becomes super obvious on all of the axises other than throttle so with
[00:59:50] the throttle so let's maximize that and let's fly in a way that looks as smooth as possible well what does that mean that means that you can use a lot of throttle but you can only use a little bit of roll and so when you're practicing that's what you want to
[00:59:50] practice use as little roll and pitch and yaw as you possibly can but use all the throttle look at my stick inputs look at how much I'm moving the throttle but you well now you can tell but I'm going to I'm going to hold on this I'm going to hold the pitch and the yaw
[00:59:50] where they're at and I'm going to just fly with throttle look how much you can do the yaw is going to move a little bit because when you move the throttle up and down naturally that just happens but look at how much you can do just flying with the throttle but you have to be
[00:59:50] drastic with it you have to be willing to move the throttle a lot because as soon as the quad is pointed into a Direction ction where you've got some open air you've got to hammer the throttle and then when it's not you've got to zero the throttle so I'm going to hammer it when I'm pointing in between
[00:59:50] these buildings but I'm going to come off of it when I'm outside of the buildings because I don't want to go rocketing into the trees I want to stay
[00:59:50] in here in these buildings so I'm going to put an input in I'm going to wait hammer it wait hammer it wait and it's going to get you really good at maximizing the thrust Vector to get Ultra nerdy and it's going to really
[00:59:50] teach you that when when you're flying really smooth like this if the quad is pointing in a direction where there's a gap there's an area that you can go hammer the throttle because as it slowly rotates you might lose that opportunity and once that opportunity is gone the
[00:59:50] ground is going to come up fast and try to eat you so I just hit you with a whole bunch there actually now I'm going to do what I said I'm going to do which is to spectate for we don't have much time left madtech starts in four minutes go check him out for
[00:59:50] sure I'm about to be on his time slot but I I I want to try to give you guys a couple quick Corrections quad Goblin is doing power Loops this is a perfect opportunity for this he's actually doing a really good job at it let's take a look at his stick inputs though the reason why he's nailing these is because he's doing the right thing
[00:59:50] with the throttle power Loops are mainly about throttle application and what you can see down here is that quad Goblin is gently increasing the throttle and then getting to Full Throttle when he's looking up only at the sky by the so I'm going to clap quad Goblin keep doing it brother thank you I'm going to clap when he hits Full Throttle and
[00:59:50] you're going to notice that he's looking up at all Sky so here we go and so Full Throttle I don't have to clap it I can just say it and Full Throttle right every time he hits Full Throttle Full Throttle he's looking up
[00:59:50] at the clouds the reason why that works is the up tilt if you hold your quad that has 20 or 30 degrees of uptilt and you point the camera straight up where you're looking at all sky you'll notice that the quad is sitting like this and
[00:59:50] when you're doing a power Loop once you get to this point this is where you want to be full throttle because it's going to be sending you up and back you come into the power loop with a bunch of forward momentum you have to kill that forward momentum going Full Throttle when the
[00:59:50] quad is like this is going to kill that forward momentum when you do a Power Loop you need to go up you need to get up over the object so when you come into it and you're here and you go Full Throttle you've got a bunch of up that you're creating so when you get to this point J monk this is the construction
[00:59:50] map this is the perfect point to go Full Throttle when you're doing a power Loop and that's exactly what quad Goblin was just doing he was rolling into the throttle so as you come into the move and you flatten out he's slowly rolling into the throttle so you flatten out now
[00:59:50] you get a little bit of upward as you get to Full Throttle you're at 45 deges basically and that's going to give you the rest of the up and just as much back as you need if you are let me see if I can catch somebody everybody do power Loops let let me try to catch somebody making some mistakes on power Loops we're
[00:59:50] watching Pito right now I'm G to actually hold on we've watched Pito we've watched dead chicken we're going to watch sker for a second here scoer is doing some power Loops all right here we go great example thank you for that scooer that did you guys notice that power Loop went up really high but
[00:59:50] it didn't travel backwards very far this is the biggest mistake there's another one this is the biggest mistake people make with power Loops scoer thank you so much for making this mistake because it's going to help a shitload of people he just fixed the mistake he just did a power Loop where he traveled backwards far enough and now he's fixing the
[00:59:50] mistake again the problem is you give too much throttle to too early this area right here that sker is in is the perfect spot to practice this there's nothing to hit but the buildings on your sides are going to show you how far back you're pushing yourself and he is fixing
[00:59:50] this issue as as I'm talking through this oh sorry God damn it thank you guys for letting me know all right so you guys missed the the mistake that all right so I'm going to I'm going to show you the mistake the only way for me is to do this quickly is for me to show you the mistake
[00:59:50] hang on uh so the mistake that most people make with power loops and what I was saying in here this is the perfect spot to practice this especially if you're just getting started with power Loops the mistake that most people make is this they get no backwards throw so if
[00:59:50] if I'm trying to like this is what I'm trying to do I'm trying to power Loop this whole area we're we're pretending that there's like a walking bridge in between these two buildings so what I want to do is this I want to this is what a power Loop looks like right you go into it low you go up you go back you
[00:59:50] come back down and then you go back through the object right so this is a perfect area to practice this in you can see right now I didn't get the same amount of backwards throw but most folks that are having having problems with power Loops this is what they do they come into it they Hammer the throttle they jump off the throttle and they
[00:59:50] either continue traveling forward or they just stop and they go straight up and then they come straight down I'm being super drastic with it and the problem is they're not rolling into the throttle they are just going full throttle and then they're chopping the throttle and they're not giving themselves any backwards throw if you
[00:59:50] look down at my stick overlay they're going full throttle and then off they're not rolling into it watch the difference I'm going to roll slowly into the throttle on this one ready slowly slowly slowly slowly and then Full Throttle see that you give yourself time as you're rolling into the throttle slowly you're going to go upwards but then you have to
[00:59:50] kill all that forward momentum you have no downward momentum right you fly into a power Loop flat so there's no downward momentum that you have to fight so you don't really need to send yourself up that much there is a bunch of forward momentum how do we beat forward momentum
[00:59:50] we look straight up and we throttle right and so with a power Loop right here is not where you want full throttle because all it's doing is sending you upwards you don't want to go upwards you need to go backwards you need to kill that forward momentum so when you're starting it you want to be gentle on the
[00:59:50] throttle and then you want more more more more more you want all the throttle to throw you back to kill that forward momentum also if you're flying really fast you have more forward momentum to kill so the speed that you that you
[00:59:50] enter the power Loop that you enter into the power loop with makes a huge difference if you're going really slowly super super slow you don't need much to give your yourself a good amount of backward momentum you just need a little blip because you didn't carry any
[00:59:50] forward speed in whereas if you're balling into the damn thing you got to push really hard to kill that forward momentum and to give yourself the rearward momentum that you need to get around the object that is an incredibly common thing I swear to God like at
[00:59:50] least 90% of the people that I work with through Fiverr on the flight instruction sessions we we figure power Loops out and the more you nail this down the tighter your power Loops can become if you notice that your power Loops leave you up here and you're waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting
[00:59:50] you dug into the throttle too quick you went Full Throttle here and that gave you all this upward momentum and now you're just waiting waiting waiting what looks cooler that or this yes oh boy hold on power Loops are hard
[00:59:50] they're they're an easy concept but to do it to do them tight in a in a small space they are difficult I am just failing to get enough I'm actually not I'm trying to do it really drastically to not have a lot of vertical
[00:59:50] throw because it looks really cool but even I need a little bit of practice and you can see they're kind of tightening up here as I do more of them and now I'm getting closer and closer and closer to that object right and it's
[00:59:50] about and now I did it too drastically it's about rolling into the throttle and then when you're looking up at the sky all Sky that's when you go Full Throttle if you just want super proximity to the object you're just going to blip the throttle once you're looking at all Sky all Sky blip it and that brings me back
[00:59:50] versus lay into it and when you lay into the throttle now it's going to be a lot safer it's going to give you more height but it's not going to look as good there you go let me try to do one more thing and then we're going to wrap this up try to help with one more thing Pito is is up in there that's a
[00:59:50] hard power Loop Pito if you can hit that power Loop there that's impressive what else do we got dead chicken's ripping around here he's crashing into the flowers scoer what's he up to he's working on some stuff in the buildings here o very nice cooster nice
[00:59:50] nice way to kind of hold your line there and not make unnecessary Corrections ah chonan we haven't watched him yet let's watch tonian for a minute let me try to pick up on one more quick thing that I can maybe help you help out with and again please
[00:59:50] for the love of God don't take this as me picking on any of you any of these things of thousand other people are making the exact same mistake there it is that's tonian giving enough rearward momentum right he got back around the tree trees are actually really fun to learn power loops with because it's pretty safe and you have a vertical
[00:59:50] representation of whether or not you threw yourself back far enough but in between see and now there's an example he didn't give himself enough backward mum if he was trying to cover the whole buildings that is a super common thing and there it is he was much more
[00:59:50] patient with ramping up the throttle oh let me show you guys Matty flips there you go that's the perfect thing for me to land for for me to leave you with Matty flip is just a power Loop but instead of pitching back you pitch forward a lot of people make Matty flips out to be much more complicated much
[00:59:50] more difficult than they actually are but in reality it is the exact same thing that we were just working on you're going to wait wait wait all Sky Full Throttle that throws you back keep it pitched forward keep it from hitting the ground wait wait wait all Sky Full Throttle it's opposite watch now watch
[00:59:50] my stick overlay ready watch the just watch the throttle really zero throttle all the throttle back the throttle off it's hard to do it power Loops are kind of easy to do as one throttle application watch my throttle stick Again full throttle off roll into it Fly It Forward ramp It
[00:59:50] Up full throttle off right it's easy to do sort of one-dimensional in a way Power Loops Matty flips it tends to be a double throttle application Full Throttle when you're all Sky back it off and then you got to generate that
[00:59:50] forward momentum again which so a lot of times it's like a double you see that like double throttle application zero throttle when you're falling down all Sky hammer it give yourself the backward momentum maintenance throttle maintenance throttle you typically don't do two trippy spins in a row but you
[00:59:50] certainly can but you see it's a little bit more a little bit more work on the throttle but at its heart it's a backwards power Loop instead of ramping up you're going Full Throttle immediately and then ramping down so instead of power Loops where you slowly increase and then when you get to the sky you go
[00:59:50] Full Throttle it's the complete opposite of that you wait with zero Full Throttle and then ramp it down and then maintenance throttle to get yourself back Full Throttle and then ramp it down full throttle ramp it down and so in between two buildings like this is
[00:59:50] the perfect space to practice it and then when you start doing it around objects try to find an object that's pretty high but it's the same exact thing there's there's certainly some more Nuance to it but when you see Sky
[00:59:50] all Sky that's when you hit full thrott see that you just wait you throw it over the object and you wait and when you get that full sky in your view you that's when you're going to hit Full Throttle and it's the same deal the reason why that works is that you're carrying forward momentum you're coming
[00:59:50] off the throttle completely because you don't want to drive yourself into the ground in the same way that with a power Loop once you get to here you want to be zero throttle because you don't want to drive yourself into the ground right so zero throttle zero throttle Z throttle 0 0000 0 here comes the camera once the
[00:59:50] camera is looking straight up all Sky look where the quad is it has rotated all the way around it's falling down and it's going forward and so perfect this is where you go Full Throttle it gives you upward to keep you from hitting the ground and it gives you backwards to
[00:59:50] pull you back through that object and so all sky is when you go full throttle and then that generates that keeps you from hitting the ground and that generates rearward momentum and then you continue that pitch forward and then you figure something out you can turn it around at that point it doesn't really matter
[00:59:50] but that's the key thing and that's why with a power Loop sorry with a with a matty flip hitting all the wrong buttons on the uh on the thing that's why if you put the throttle on in the right spot it'll shoot you right back you just have to pre-plan it like with with a with a
[00:59:50] power Loop you you look at the object all the way through it and then you just throw yourself safely up and over it with a matty flip you look at the object and then you lose it and you have to have been set up properly for it and one
[00:59:50] of the other ways to kind of nail these down is to put is to put the object on this is a much harder way to learn these if you put so the top board here the top board is the thing that I'm wrapping around if I put this top board at the the upper third exactly where it
[00:59:50] is right now the upper third of the screen you can try to leave it there boy is it hard to do in proximity like this is there a little bit of a bigger Gap here this is a much this is how you learn proximity MADD flips put the OB the the horizontal object at the top
[00:59:50] third and try to leave it there this is too this is too small this is too tight of a gap to do this well they're kind of getting it see how it's really off the top of the screen if we had a map with like hold hold on we can do it super quick this is the next level
[00:59:50] this is uh Matty flips 102 let's go to uh Coastal perfect Coastal is the perfect map for this here we go come on come on on Blue Sky says thanks for the tips you're certainly welcome all right Perfect all these Coastal maps are great because they got these these big bastards all right so oh
[00:59:50] even better cranes cranes cranes cranes cranes cranes are how you learn this so you put the horizontal part of the of the crane in the upper third right there and you try to leave it there upper third and leave it
[00:59:50] there and this is how you learn proximity matd flips and if anything you want to let it drift upwards as you're seeing me do what you can't do is let it drift downwards if you let it drift downwards too much you you're just Full Throttle
[00:59:50] the entire time also when you lose proximity you end up going you end up going Full Throttle all the time but that that's one of the other ways to learn a more proximity Matty flip is to try to put that horizontal object that you're flipping around in the top
[00:59:50] part of the screen that is going to keep your thrust Vector where it needs to be in a similar it's similar to if you're if you're dialing in on your orbits you're going to put the object in the Le in the inside third of the screen
[00:59:50] because all an orbit is is flying past and turning flying past and turning but you're turning the entire time and so for a flat orbit let me get a little closer for a flat orbit you have to put that object on the inner
[00:59:50] third you can do orbits with the object off on the outside of the screen but look what happens to the Horizon you have to lose the Horizon and make all this angle cuz I'm no longer flying past this and turning right in order to fly past it and turn if I'm going to turn left it has to be on the left and then I
[00:59:50] turn to the left and then I turn to the left and if you just constantly turn to the left you're constantly flying past it and then turning into it the Matty flips are the same way if the object is on the top of the screen I'm flying past it and then turning into it flying past
[00:59:50] it and then turning back into it flying past it and then turning back into it this will change a little bit with up tilt what is it more up tilt no that's the camera fov how do I adjust up tilt is it NOP it's plus and minus here we go if
[00:59:50] you fly with a lot of uptilt oh boy this is going to be hard all right so this is 60 degrees of uptilt if you fly with 60 degrees of uptilt you're a lunatic I think you can bring the object down further you
[00:59:50] can bring the object down further so with enough up tilt you can put the object in the middle or even the bottom part of the screen alternatively with no up tilt if you're going to fly zero up tilt it's going to make these a lot
[00:59:50] harder because the object is going to be all the way on the top of the screen oh boy does that feel weird to go from 60 to zero so with zero uptilt boy the the object is almost off the
[00:59:50] screen jeez really tough to do with zero uptail kind of doesn't even really look good doesn't look good because you can't see the object you're just doing these like rotations out in the middle of space
[00:59:50] wow I've never tried Matty flips at zero up tilt before God damn that is it doesn't look right it's not the trick to do with zero up tilt 30° is is sort of the magic number and then you can get stuff at
[00:59:50] like doing it in through you can get good at crashing there you go guys hopefully some of that helped that's the kind of stuff that that I hammer people on in in the Fiverr sessions this this room will stay open
[00:59:50] somebody else will become the the owner of that room and you guys can hang out there for as long as you want the Sim is Magic my friends use it use it to figure out all the new moves and get all your crashing out it's great I
[00:59:50] mean I don't know I'm out of gas all right friends thanks for hanging to anybody that thought I was being a dick maybe I apologize I don't think so though I think people were with me but if I was a dick to anyone
[00:59:50] I I do apologize I I'm usually not but there's a lot of things going on in my life that are making me want to like the world on fire ah I forgot to fly for real I'm sorry guys let's do at least one battery on each of these air 65 Champion air 65 Champion real quick man I still have to fix the
[00:59:50] routing of the BT 2.0 in here all right super quick let's see how the let's see how good or bad the Sim is going to make me fly in in real life usually it helps air 65 with a slightly lighter weight antenna I remove
[00:59:50] the ground plane and the HQ ultral light .9 uh9 pitch propellers Tri blades come on El s you can do it I Believe In You There It Is air 65 Champion all right big
[00:59:50] adjustment okay oh no no no no not like this not like this H man I don't know if I've ever gone like directly from the Sim to Tiny whooping that's interesting let's go upstairs say hi to
[00:59:50] the family I heard them come home a minute ago oh my God ah a little dark up here come back down oh my God Ted wardo lead me down the stairs buddy Teddy come here Teddy come here all right I'll lead you down the stairs buddy woo boy I what a what an
[00:59:50] adjustment there he is trotting along what what's up my little furry friend roll into the throttle and then go Full Throttle man what what is really triing me up is when you're flying 5in rigs everything happens in slow motion when you're flying tiny whoops everything happens in Fast
[00:59:50] Forward and so I'm having a hard time speeding myself up enough air 65 Champion has loads of power 30,000 KV my ass hey massive adjustment holy hell it's a it's a timing thing I'm having to really adjust my timing the amount of time between going Full Throttle letting it throw and then
[00:59:50] catching it Jesus oh man we are crashing unrecoverable lately dog is going to help there he goes doggy what's up oh he's running away from me he doesn't care about us never forget that when you go between two different rigs when you go between
[00:59:50] tiny whoops and the simulator even just like the simulator and real life there's going to be a big adjustment period the the timing of your inputs the way that the rig is moving around in free space the momentum that it's carrying those things all change and
[00:59:50] they're big adjustments and the better you get and the harder stuff that you're going to try the more drastic that becomes you will get better at adjusting but then you'll try that's harder to do and so it's always there it's always going to be a
[00:59:50] thing wow 2 minutes and 32 seconds I mean these are batteries that have been charged for a couple days so not right off the charger but yeah BetaFPV Motors are not as efficient in my experiences as the happy models now speaking of we're going to fly HappyModel 36,000 KD Motors real quick here
[00:59:50] and then we're going to wrap it up is somebody on the stairs waiting for me hello family does anybody love me no oh well 36,000 KV Ultimate Freestyle tiny whoop little bit heavier 18 G all up what's that smell what does that
[00:59:50] smell sewage yeah 36,000 KV HappyModel Motors same propellers little bit heavier all upward weight the weight of the rig Jesus hell the weight of the rig is also a big adjustment that you're going to have to make
[00:59:50] because it's super related to the momentum that it carries Jesus oh boy this is unbelievable Teddy God damn you what are you doing get out of here stop it stop kicking Everything Jesus why do you do that why do you kick all my
[00:59:50] bad boy oh oh dog oh my God what the hell man all right camera field of view is another thing that you'll have to adjust to this is a run Cam nano3 little bit of a shallower field of view than the CO3 that we were just flying wow so remember
[00:59:50] that if you want to get good stop Flying all different stuff pick pick your favorite camera buy a bunch of them pick your favorite Motors buy a bunch of them pick your favorite propellers or just they don't even have to be your favorites just pick and and
[00:59:50] the same thing over and over again I spend a lot of time bouncing back and forth between the stuff and it's just kills my ability to get dialed in on any one thing there wasn't when I when I was in the in in the part of FPV where I wanted
[00:59:50] to get really good I didn't do that I flew the same thing over and over again you can adjust to almost anything ah there he is oh God Teddy oh he's bored with us
[00:59:50] he's grown tired of us how dare he how dare he [Laughter] oh wow rough day rough life this is my full job friends if you like these live streams and want to see them continue head on over to se fv.com and pick any number of different ways that you can support the
[00:59:50] insanity patreon helps me out the most and you get the most Benefits full access to the Discord channel oh my God can I maybe get it out of here I doubt it there's a Fiverr page where you can work oneon-one with me to fly better
[00:59:50] build better tune better there's an Etsy store with all kinds of good stuff and ah what was [Laughter] that there we go we got a little run on so again we're flying 36,000 KV Motors right now oh this battery's done where are my battery warnings what the
[00:59:50] hell all right we ran this battery down a little bit too low but look at the difference in run time 3 minutes and 29 seconds what why did I get no why did I get no warnings that was weird if you're not getting any warnings here's how you troubleshoot
[00:59:50] that I do this right now or I won't do it plug in go to OSD tab first ah you guys know you guys know how to had to troubleshoot this right do I need to show you I'll show you just in case somebody's
[00:59:50] new come on BetaFlight please launch please take less time to launch there it is go to your OSD first and make sure that warnings are turned on down the bottom here so warnings are turned on
[00:59:50] adjustments aux 2D Pro yep so that's all good next step is to come into power and Battery oh there's the problem the minimum cell voltage and the warning cell voltage are set way too low so we're going to go up to 3.1 and 3 three 3.1 and 3.3 is where I
[00:59:50] like them to be all better there you go go go get some madtech friends tell Ian I say hello and have an awesome day I'll see you guys tomorrow night at 10 o'clock and hopefully there's less losers coming by for no reason taking
[00:59:50] time out of their lives to try to drag other people down thanks for hanging Friends check in on check in on your people all right send a text call somebody tell someone that you're hanging with them and then hang with them love you bye I'm not
[00:59:50] ready here's the WalkSnail 75mm 1S rig on BetaFPV 1102 2200s and 1S 450 MH batteries that is kind of for sale kind of it's going to be expensive but it's kind of for sale see you
