[00:02:24] hey friends my name is Aaron Ciotti everybody calls me Ciotti welcome to the show I forgot to turn things on tough day man tough day I spent the majority of my day working on an edit with still images and video of
[00:02:46] my friend Wilder that passed last week and super hard used there was this one song that he must have really loved because he played it damn near every every Sunday all year at at our classes and yeah my Maggie and I literally call
[00:03:11] it Wilder song and so used that and that was just tough just a tough day but got it done hopefully it helped some people grieve and just get it all out tomorrow is the the funeral and a celebration of life
[00:03:31] so tough stuff anybody that anybody that was courageous and caring enough to reach out to folks last week pick somebody else shoot another text out send another email reach out to somebody else somebody different tonight do it now do it right now
[00:03:57] this holiday all holiday seasons are are super tough this is the hardest of the holiday seasons and yeah it's not just the holiday season right like there's lots of other stuff making certain people
[00:04:16] even that much more hopeless unfortunately right now and so reach out to those folks schedule a just tell them like I talked about last week um man how's it going is is better than nothing for sure but if I can make a
[00:04:39] suggestion hey man we're hanging out is something that's going to cut through the noise a lot better especially if you're messaging someone that has mental illness whether or not about it that doesn't really matter lots of people have it and we're really good at hiding it and so send a message
[00:05:00] saying likewe're hanging outwe're going to see x movieyou're coming over and watching Arcane with me whatever anything don't give him a choice just saywe are spending time together that's the kind of thing that that somebody that is in the
[00:05:24] spiral will not be able to just say like oh no sorry I I got fans or my cat's sick or any number of other excuses that we have just like ready to go so do it do it you do not want
[00:05:41] to go through this it is just awful especially as someone that that should have seen the the the red flags so do it now cool tonight we are going to take a look at some flight footage from the two 2S 75mm walks
[00:06:06] snail whoops what was just playing hold on let me so I built these on smoke crotch gray and clear frames so that it's super easy to see in the flight footage which one I'm flying good god what the hell happened to this propeller oh my God what you were watching in
[00:06:33] the intro was the clear one on the t-motor 102 18,000 KV Motors look at this propeller good God look at that what the hell did you hit Jesus I've never seen one get dug up that bad
[00:07:05] so we're going to take a look I I flew earlier today two B I flew One battery on the 102s two batteries on the 803 rig and then the last battery on the 102 rig we're going to take a look at those we're going to talk about and I'm going to show you some of the
[00:07:22] tuning that I did on them we're going to talk about anti-gravity we'll talk about how the ceramic antenna broke off of this one which is which one is this these are on different aios this is the one in the
[00:07:41] hglrc Spectre AIO the AIO that does not work at all on 1S but seems to be totally fine on 2S which is super weird but uh if you're going to do one of these 2S WalkSnail builds similar to mine even though the the ceramic antenna kind
[00:08:03] of sort of clears the mobula 6 canopy it doesn't clear it enough and after a couple of crashes it just got knocked right off so you can just let that happen if if you're going to fly it in the front yard backyard somewhere where it's totally recoverable right you
[00:08:20] can just do that and wait for it to break off and then solder a wire anten on or if you're going to be flying it in spots that are not EAS recoverable I would recommend that you get that ceramic antenna off of there and solder on a simple little piece of wire which I'm going to show
[00:08:39] you how to do tonight it's super simple waiting for the ceramic antenna to break off you're running the risk of ripping the pads off but this is the fourth I think this is the fourth AO that I've had the ceramic antenna break off and I've never ripped a pad off it
[00:09:03] there there's like there's the pad and then there's like a weird little square piece of metal and then there's the ceramic antenna and what happens every single time is when the when the ceramic antenna pops off it leaves this little piece of metal on top I don't know if the little piece of metal is like welded to the bottom of the ceramic antenna the
[00:09:22] four little posts but it seems to be pretty safe just leaving them on and if break off as long as you're close by you can actually still fly I was able to still fly it in the front of the house once I got out to the street or if I tried to go around side
[00:09:40] of the house it would fail safe but like right out in in front of the house in the garden and stuff it was totally fine with no elrs antenna I just wanted to fly the rest of the battery but if you want to be totally safe just break them off and replace
[00:09:59] them with a little piece of wire if the wire that you replace it with is even remotely the right length you'll actually get better performance and better range with the wire when I say better performance all I really mean is better range you're not going to get like lower latency or anything but the In fairness the ceramic
[00:10:20] antennas give you plenty of range to completely outrun your video signal so it's don't make that switch for performance benefit I guess unless you're doing like long range stuff but you're probably not doing that with a tiny whoop do it for

[00:11:49] up everybody thanks for coming seatt fpv.one over and click some buttons if you don't mind and I will keep talking about FP PV and mental health and my life and how to not be an on Earth forever cool if you want to talk
[00:12:10] directly to me all you got to do is type cfpv into the chat you can also do a super chat if you'd like to support the insanity if you were about to do a
[00:12:18] super chat but you're like wait a second won't YouTube Take 30% of that you can go over to C fpv.one me and sayseot check your PayPal and I'll fire up my email and give you a much deserved shout out
[00:12:41] all right bear with me friends man that was that that was it's hard to edit very hard to edit I've said this before I'll say it again if you have learned to edit for FPV or if you need a reason if if
[00:13:08] you're wanting to learn to edit but you don't have a good enough reason yet life is a really good reason to learn to edit you will be able to make 60c 2 minute 3 minute whatever long cuts of your favorite images and video files in your life in other
[00:13:31] people's lives and you will be able to immortalize things and that is really really cool it's really hard to do it when it's something like losing someone or something but if you're doing it for like someone that you love right like doing it for like a trip that your family went on It's Magic and it and
[00:13:58] it creates something that can live on the internet forever and you can visit's whenever you want you can send it to people and it's absolutely worth the effort to learn a piece of video editing software if
[00:14:19] you're on an Apple iMovie is phenomenal it seems it's fisherprice my first editing software but it's actually I mean it kind of is but it's also really powerful and it works really really well and I used it for many many many many many many years uh Adobe Premiere if you have the Adobe
[00:14:39] suite is decent if you're going to learn something though D Vinci resolve would be a better thing to learn I think lot less expensive and so many people are switching from Premiere over to Da Vinci I don't know of any somebody in
[00:14:59] chat will know though what what are some free uh iMovie is free if you're on a Mac what are some half decent free the Vinci resolve has a free like trial period or like basic version of the software I forget which one it is
[00:15:19] but who knows another free piece of video editing software somebody knows one of you PC ninjas know drop it in the chat for me if you don't mind and I'll try to remember it this time do it learn to edit look like you're in FPV now it's one of the
[00:15:40] things that you should know I was about to say you need to know but you don't but you should it's well worth it and there are benefits outside of FPV it doesn't mean learning to edit doesn't mean you have to try to become a YouTuber and make a following and that
[00:15:59] it means that how to take images and video files and put them into a thing that's actually watchable because be honest you don't go back and look at pictures from six months to a year to a year and a half ago more than like once a month it just doesn't happen
[00:16:20] but if you chop those up and you put them into one spot with a song that you love that's something that you're actually going to go back and you want to talk about trying to remember forever that's how you remember stuff forever you're going to look at those images you're going to look at that video a hundred times while you're doing
[00:16:39] the edit that's going to cement it in your brain and then it's also going to allow other people to for to remember it forever because they're going to see it with a cool song chopped up in a way that just gives them a massive dopamine hit so do it seriously you can learn how to edit in a half an hour guaranteed on YouTube
[00:17:00] whatever software you choose type the name of that software and beginner guide into into YouTube and there will be someone with an awesome half an hour long video here's how you drop the files in here's how you import them here's how you change their length here's how you reorder them in the timeline here's how
[00:17:19] you adjust the the uh the levels a little bit here's how you export done don't get all tied up in in in trans positions and all the the extra crazy color grading and Luts and all that nonsense you don't need any of that you need to know how to import the files
[00:17:37] chop them up order them and Export that's it learn that do it once or twice if you don't absolutely hate it then you can dive into like a little bit of color correction but don't go crazy with that stuff I do minimal minimal minimal
[00:17:55] minimal minimal color grading for the most part part I use color temperature tint exposure contrast and saturation and a little bit of vibrancy that's it you do not need to go down the rabbit hole of color correction you can use the standard adjustments and
[00:18:14] just move the sliders up and down and stop moving it where the image that you're paused on looks the best and then go to the next one move the contrast up and down see where it looks best leave it there go to the next one and that's it leave it don't you don't have to go bananas with it focus your time on
[00:18:34] chopping the footage up properly and ordering it in a way that makes sense to give you some idea at at the end of this edit that I was working on today I wanted to put a whole bunch of still images in there and I spent the majority of I I actually didn't color correct any of
[00:18:52] them because they were coming from all different camera phones I took all that time that I would have spent and I spent it on reordering these images in a way that kind of like Chronicles Wilder's life a little bit and that for someone watching it is going to make a
[00:19:09] lot more sense and it's going to be it's going to have a lot more impact than if you sat there with each individual file and made it look a little bit better bring the Black Point down bring the white point up adjust the contrast
[00:19:21] and that kind of stuff so learn to edit my friends it's a an amazing life skill to have the that will come in handy and it will allow you to remember stuff better and that's really really cool I have hundreds of edits on this
[00:19:40] YouTube channel dating like 14 15 years back to when it was all cars all the time I can watch any one of those edits of an autocross of mountain blasting of whatever and I can relive that moment as if I was sitting in the car it's just
[00:19:59] awesome it doesn't tell me what happened here is this a is that a Super Chat is that a I I have a feeling that's a maybe a subscription the name was too long or something thanks for subscribing brother do it I'm telling you do it Bob Bruce says nothing like being thrown on the spot by Bardwell a I
[00:20:26] was I was running a running back and forth from the computer I must have missed it I don't I don't I didn't catch that Bob Bruce tag me again and tell me what tell me what happened please render says thanks for being such a vulnerable human being and having such kind such kind thoughts your recent streams have helped the world my world
[00:20:46] be a better place it's my pleasure render it really is FPV is great and all but living a better life is much greater and I've been through some in my life and I've been told that I help people and it's really hard to do it is like unforgiving and
[00:21:21] like the amount of that pop up when I do it is is really really sad but there's a lot of people that live in a lot of pain and unfortunately the culture that we live in has made those people feel like on other people will make them feel better it
[00:21:44] doesn't it's just makes everybody feel worse and those a lot of those people are are particularly particularly like emboldened right now to be extra douchy and I got no solution to that other than to just
[00:22:04] try to keep our heads up and fight through this as as as hard as we possibly can and stick together and just use common sense and common decency so if you guys are struggling I've
[00:22:24] I've done a bunch of stuff to hopefully help you out over on my Discord which is linked on C fpv.one it's not in the patreon section called FPV therapy I also have a Facebook group called FPV therapy lots of super brave people have gone
[00:22:44] into both of those spots and shared their stories and vented these are completely safe spaces you can go in there and just read you can go in there and post whatever you want there is no judgment whatsoever and there are
[00:23:01] other people that are going through it as well so these are the people that that you want to be around if if you're kind of in that in that place because unfortunately the general population just does just has zero understanding of mental illness especially
[00:23:20] depression and the things that people that don't understand it will say to you are not helpful at all the things that people that do understand it say to you are barely helpful unfortunately that is just how powerful that is but it's
[00:23:39] it's important and do it there are people in your live that are in your lives that are going through it show up for them now more than ever Bor bits says much love man thank you dude chonan says my man you're such a good person thank you for being you thank you for allowing me to be me thank thank all
[00:23:59] of you guys for supporting me enough that I can do this and hopefully spread something good to a bunch of people so that we can all try to figure out how to make it through this together Bor bits also says you can't see what they don't show when they are around you even I can
[00:24:25] keep it together for a few hours it's true demo FPV says hope you're doing well did you happen to see my Etsy order I didn't demo I I am I am behind on stuff I I apologize guys I would love to say that I'm going to get everything
[00:24:44] caught up tonight but I I I can't promise that I'm up late every night and I try to do as much work as I can but yeah and then tomorrow is going to be really rough so I'm going to try tonight and tomorrow but
[00:25:05] it might not be until Wednesday so I apologize I'm going to get this stuff out as as soon as I possibly can but this has just been Mega and I tried to work through it I tried to use work as a
[00:25:25] distraction and it just didn't it didn't work I have to be really careful I I I've learned to be really careful about using my work to cover stuff up it's can very easily like rub off like the negativity that you're feeling can easily rub off in your work
[00:25:49] and kind of like make you hate your work I am terrified that I'm going to burn out on FPV every hobby that I've ever had I've pushed too hard and burned it out and didn't want to ever do it again in in some cases in other cases after 10 years I'm like oh maybe this
[00:26:08] will be fun again it's just not the same and so I'm super protective of because of those lessons that I've learned I'm very protective of that with with FPV because this is what I want to do like this there's no end in
[00:26:26] sight for me with with FPV with flying with these live streams and so I am super protective like I said of this and sometimes that means that I I have to just let it sit and wait until I'm in a better place to kind of come back here also when when when I'm
[00:26:47] here and I'm distracted and there's other stuff I make mistakes I I I my productivity sucks and so a lot of times when I give it a dayb and give myself the rest that I need I can come back the next day and just charge
[00:27:04] through twice as much stuff that I would have and do it accurately and properly and so yeah if any of you that have put an Etsy order in like absolutely need it like right away please reach out to me somewhere all my
[00:27:21] time all my contact info is over on SE fpv.one shoot me a messagecotti I need the antenna really bad I've been waiting to fly it's totally cool you're not bothering me at all I will absolutely jump on that order and get it out the door it's just there's
[00:27:40] like 15 orders right now so it's a little bit overwhelming and being overwhelmed is is is a massive trigger for my mental health so that on top of everything else that's been going on I'm treading very very lightly
[00:28:00] which is that's something that it's taken me probably 42 years to learn that that's probably something that I finally figured out last year with the help of my current talk therapist and it's super important if if if you struggle with this to
[00:28:22] to really understand that the answer is very rarely to just Mash through abs absolutely everything and run yourself ragged that is a great way to put yourself into a spiral that will then eat up an entire week in some
[00:28:42] cases and so you got to kind of look at this stuff holistically a little bit and as much as I want to get caught up right now tonight as soon as this stream is over if that's going to ruin me for the next week well
[00:28:58] what did I just do right versus practicing self-care getting my head right and then attacking it and not spiraling and so I hope you guys can understand that but again if you absolutely need what you ordered like right away it's totally cool that is absolutely fine just let me know and I will I will get those
[00:29:22] one or two out the door for sure all right uh metalon says do those GemFan by blades seem to get chewed up at the tips real bad or is it just me metal dirt skin you need motor spacers my friend
[00:29:43] if you're using a Mula 7 V3 frame with motors that are 2 mm tall 0 802s 102s 1102s this Frame the ducts are too deep for that small of a motor and what's happening to you is the same thing that was happening to me before I started to run these motor spacers which
[00:30:05] is that the tips of the propellers are hitting the supports the top of the support here in the duct Timmons is actually working on is this one not what does this one not have the motor spacers on it oh
[00:30:23] right because these are 803s that's right this is the rig with the 083s so this a perfect example th this rig is on that frame but it's on 0803 so it's a 1 mm taller Stater and the tips of the propellers do not get chewed up on this rig on this build rather U this one which is on 102s has
[00:30:45] these little BetaFPV motor spacers that are like 1.2 I think it is millimeters tall and they raise everything up so that the tips of the propellers don't the supports anymore Timmons is cutting a whole bunch of these spacers out that he's going to
[00:31:05] send to me and then I'm going to order I'm going to figure out where to get m1.4 by4 motor screws so that on my Etsy store I can sell you guys the longer screws and the motor spacers so that as you dive into these 2S 75mm builds because you need to because they're absolutely amazing you can have this
[00:31:28] same setup that I've got if you already have some of these m1.4 by4 I think you can also run by five screws you can just buy a BetaFPV meteor 65 or 75 air frame and they come
[00:31:48] with the little spacers unbelievably they don't come with the with the mo with the longer motor screws that you need for the spacers they just come with the spacers I have a feeling that most of you don't have those longer tiny whoop motor screws which is why I'm going to figure out how to get a whole bunch of them and
[00:32:06] sell them on the Etsy store so stay tuned for that but that is more than likely what's going on metal when I had these O2 Motors not with the motor spacers it was brutal the tips of the propellers got absolutely mangled it's mainly when you Turtle mode if you don't Turtle mode the the the
[00:32:26] support on the duct is like this and when you're when you're when the props are going by normally they're at this angle and so that if they hit's they just Bo right over it but when you Turtle mode the propeller goes back like this and it digs in and then that's when it really mangles the the tip of the
[00:32:45] of the propellers so that's what you need Preston roach says mob light 775 mm 2S frame with HappyModel 102 20,000 KV need motor spacers it depends if it's the V3 frame it yes it needs them if it's
[00:33:06] the if it's the V4 frame then no I'm looking up the M late 7 real quick here HD that's not it what well it's probably in the same frame my guess is going to be that it's the V4 frame certainly looks like the V4 frame that's the V4 frame so
[00:33:31] you're good the the V4 frame is is absolutely fine what's funny is the V4 frame actually has the opposite problem where the ducts are a little bit too low and so the propeller kind of hangs out the top so if you're going to run a 3mm tall motor it actually it's actually
[00:33:51] better to use the V3 frame if you're going to use a 2mm tall motor either or but a 3mm tall frame in the V4 frame the propeller sits like kind of up above the duct it's not the end of the world but it's uh Brian teger says I break them
[00:34:11] all the time one spool is enough enameled wire for Life enameled wire oh you're using I'm guessing that you're using enameled wire for the antennas that's cool that that gives you a a
[00:34:31] wire that's like stiff that'll stay where you put it I've been having really good luck with these and this is what I'm going to use tonight these ridiculously little ridiculously small newbie drone bi
[00:34:54] antennas can I pick it up please there it is just outrageously small but cut to the right length which is all that matters these are sold on newbie drones website for 25 cents each so I bought 10 of them forever ago and there it's just I mean it has a little bit of a
[00:35:20] little bit of stay where you put it to it but the main thing is that it's cut to the right length so all I have to do is remove the tiniest little bit of the instulation and then solder it on and it's good to go and it works perfect and so that's what we're going to install tonight I think you can just search
[00:35:41] for antenna search for antenna wire and that should find it nope that doesn't find it search for 2.4 2.4 antenna there it is it's the picture like you almost can't see the picture but newbie drone replacement 2.4 hair antenna for bcer V1 SLB brain flight controller one
[00:36:09] piece 25 cents these are just awesome next time you do a newbie drone order just put a bunch of these on there it's just you just you want to have this in your toolbox if nothing else it's the correct length and so now you've got something to measure other antennas from by just one and now you what
[00:36:29] the right length is for elrs or anything else 2.4 and you can just hold it up to next another piece of wire and cut the other piece of wire that you'd rather use in the same exact length and Away you go so super super super handy stuff
[00:36:49] it's In fairness you can use anything you can use absolutely any wire it just has to be the right length it doesn't even have to be the right length it just it'll work a lot better if it's the right length so there is a free base version
[00:37:06] of Da Vinci resolve and Yoki says so there you go do do da Vinci resolve there's tons of beginner guides here on YouTube for it Curtis Hayes says K Kaden live runs on all platforms and is free there's another option for you met dson says some people use cap cut
[00:37:25] for really simple edits it's not in the league of resolve or Premiere but it'll do the basics here's another thing that's cool if you learn so I I'll use myself as as an example I used iMovie forever iMovie doesn't have a ton of options it's got super basic options and
[00:37:43] so I got really good at all those basic things cutting stuff perfectly syncing with music perfectly reordering the clips perfectly that is where you want to focus so if you use one of the these like super paired Down super simple pieces of software you're actually going
[00:38:02] to be forced to learn the basics which is the way that you want to do it diving straight into Premiere or Final Cut or D Vinci resolve the full version of D Vinci resolve the basic version is the base version is probably perfect it like almost encourages you to try all this wild that is not
[00:38:23] what you want to start with stay with the basics learn the basic six and your your final product will be way better I promise you thank you for the suggestions fellas chonan says I'm lucky my dad spent his entire career as a video editor no way that's rad
[00:38:42] Metson says game c make sure to tag CiottiFPV if you want a question answered in chat thank you for that metal game c oh he retracted his message maybe maybe hey retracted his message and then he tagged me again uh YouTube just did the thing scrolling
[00:39:00] back up to try to find my place gram T says agree with what you said made a video of my partner's Grandma the year she passed away was a great way to memorialize here her man sh here's a secret
[00:39:21] sh I I actually haven't but this hasn't happened to me but like if you forget like a birthday or an anniversary or something and it's like the day before or something make that person an editgrab a bunch of your favorite pictures of them grab a song that they love and make them
[00:39:38] an edit that'll be that'll be a better present than anything you've ever done I I've never had to do that It's actually kind of hard to do it like the day before because you got to be like all alone I've I've done it quite a few times when I was just broke basically and I I would buy like
[00:39:58] a couple of presents and then the the rest of my Christmas present would be the time and love poured into something it's actually realistically it's kind of like the the best present that you could possibly give someone because you took a
[00:40:18] whole bunch of your time and your love and you poured it into this thing and that means so much more than going on somebody's Amazon wish list and just getting them a vacuum cleaner um and so it's actually a pretty incredible gift to give someone and yeah it's cool do it people will
[00:40:40] will be blown away and then they'll say things like why you're so talented you'll be like oh I am a good person and then you'll feel good and then you'll watch that thing years later and be like damn look how good I am trust me it's awesome it's a
[00:41:01] it's a really cool present to give somebody I've done it for people when they've been like like going away on trips like here's something that you can watch if you're if you're going to be missing me it's a it's a really special thing it means a lot to
[00:41:19] people J monk says for long range flying is there an an an antenna and elrs receiver for long range I mean not specifically for long range but The Nomad setup is pretty much the best Express
[00:41:44] lrs system that there ever has been because it mixes both 2.4 and 900 megahertz so if the long range guys were going to create a transmitter link this would pretty much be it so The Nomad module is really cheap for what it is 45 bucks and then
[00:42:11] you're going to get these dualband receivers here which are 20 x 20 mount for 30 bucks and that's going to kick the hell out of Crossfire it's going to be pretty comparable to regular old elrs but with a little bit more because it's going to also give you the 00 mher band so this is how you do this
[00:42:30] is the the best way to get your control link rocking for long range Arc says have you tried Tri blades on the 2S 75mm analoges just curious as I've preferred 16008 props I haven't one of the things
[00:42:48] that I want from these is as much throw as possible they are they have plenty of accuracy when I'm ducking in and out of the of the bushes and in in the front of the house what I want from them is just more momentum when I come off the throttle and I'm throwing
[00:43:12] them and it's by blades for that but the the 16 here's what I'll say one of the things I'm sure that you guys are going to start asking me a lot is on the 2S rigs what are the best Motors I flew One battery two batteries One battery on these 803s versus 102s
[00:43:38] drastically different Motors they're both really really good I I I don't really know if I can pick one just based on like flight characteristics we are motor limiting both of these down so they both have
[00:43:56] plenty of power right but here's what I'll say the 803s are a little bit lighter so if you want the absolute lightest weight possible setup it's going to be the 803s the 102s are wider and less tall so they are
[00:44:17] going to stay cooler so if you want to cruise faster if you want to just put the nose down in a haul ass it's the 102s if you want to run the 16008 props it's the 102s those props are going to put more load on the motors more heat into the motors and so the wider motor
[00:44:40] is going to be a better choice for the triblade propellers and then there's the BetaFPV 1102s which are just like big beefy monsters they're going to also kill on the 16008 and they're going to be even more
[00:45:00] they're going to stay even cooler they're going to make even more power than the 102s but all three of these motors are just unbelievable it's super funny like 2S makes the performance of these 75 MIM rigs so good that motor selection is
[00:45:23] actually less important in the same way that on like 5 in rigs when when you're on 6s 236s are great 227s are great 2036 and a halfs are great like there are so many different Motors that fly awesome on 5S on 6s 5in rigs which is a nice little lesson for me like if I'm if if
[00:45:52] I'm the the 1S 75mm nightmare that I went through the motors were all so different and that's a sign like if the motors are that drastically different you're almost using the motor selection as a Band-Aid on top of something else in our case it was too low of a voltage
[00:46:19] 1s is perfect for 65mm rigs but it's just not enough for these like higher power 75mm outdoor kind of builds and so it's kind of interesting to look back at that and be like well okay that that's why I was having such trouble there this 2S thing is just just it just
[00:46:45] keeps getting better like every time I fly it's like oh wow any motor that I throw at this is just like really decent I'm sure as I fly these more and I'm and I'm kind of starting to figure out that it's the 102s but as I fly these more and more I'm sure that I'll I'll start to gravitate towards one over the other but the 803s are fine they they they
[00:47:04] fly great uh you have to run the motor limiting a little bit higher to get the same amount of RPM out of them so I can tell that they're not making as much raw power as the t-motor 102s but they're totally fine and they're a little bit lighter which is cool they're not that much lighter but they are a
[00:47:25] little bit lighter so if you're going for just like the ultimate lightweight 2S 75mm build these sub 250 803s are really really good enyi says that kind of burnout is common with ADHD among other things I have the same issue myself you're generally a real one my dude I checked
[00:47:46] in on several people because of you awesome man thank you for that thank you skas skic says every time I say it wrong I tell friends that ADHD doesn't make inattentive it makes me attentive to every conversation in the room yeah it's oh
[00:48:11] boy it's a lot it's a lot I I I don't have when I was diagnosed for mental illness stuff I I did not I was not diagnosed with full-blown ADHD but boy do I have a lot of the the symptoms of it with but what with like anxiety and
[00:48:40] depression and OCD and ADHD there's a ton of bleed over in between them and that's one of the things that makes mental illness such a challenge is that there is all of this bleed over and it makes it very difficult to kind of nail it down this is why talk thy is so important finding a good
[00:48:59] therapist and going over and over and over again because they need time to map this out and to and to learn enough about your life and your past and everything to be able to really give you a solid Way Forward and that we we we focus so much on the
[00:49:17] diagnosis right like what do you have what do you have what do you have it just it doesn't matter like my my my I've had a couple of talk therapists that would like talk much more about like the actual diagnosis and depression
[00:49:35] does this and this does my current talk therapist who's the best that I've ever had hey never mentions it never it is never about oh well depression does this depression does that anxiety does this it is about me and my experience and my past and then and all of these things that right have led
[00:49:56] me to this place that I'm currently at and that has been insane but you can't put a buzzword on that and get 10,000 people to click thumbs up so uh but it's always it always strikes me as amazing how much
[00:50:18] how much bleed there is in between these different things it's kind of crazy B bit says bought a black ort chill no rush guard yourself is contagious thank you dude level one drone says you sound like a multi- potential light polymath Renaissance Man yeah we jump from
[00:50:36] Hobby to hobby and deep dive until we burn out been there done that FPV is my fifth hobby so far there's like there's personality types that do it mental illness stuff can definitely feed into it's super easy to do Mark
[00:50:55] G says there's nothing I mean like in most cases there's nothing wrong with that right like if you're going to turn it into a career and you want that career to last it becomes really important but like there's nothing wrong with getting into a hobby going super hard for a few years burning out and
[00:51:14] finding something else like that's okay don't don't feel bad it is so easy to feel bad about that myself included there is nothing wrong with that you're allowed to do all different you're allowed to not become the best at something you're never going to be the best anyway there's always going to be
[00:51:33] somebody better so give that up as soon as you can and don't shame yourself for for burning out on something unless you turn it into a career that that you want to and I mean even if you turn it into a career it's okay it's you're allowed to change careers right like I was I was in
[00:51:53] the world of project management I was in sales first for a long time then project management and now this and that's okay like most people don't have the same career for their entire life right like we just we just beat the hell out of ourselves for for this stuff and it's
[00:52:11] just like why like why are we doing that stop that I'm as guilty I'm probably more guilty of it than most and it's taken me forever to figure that that out and work through it and I still do it but I'm much more aware of it
[00:52:29] now Mark G says built a 2S 75mm whoop just in a Hatchy Hatchi Dory frame I think I saw that on Instagram maybe flies amazing totally forgot I was flying a tiny whoop even flies better than my bigger micros man that that is it right there totally forgot I was flying a tiny whoop that's
[00:52:48] what these do I I I think I talked about that a few streams ago you just fly with these like when I'm out in the front yard I'm just flying that's how good they are in the same way that like with a with a dialed in 5-in rig you're just flying you your your brain is just like yep we're hurdling through the air it's all good there's no props there's no
[00:53:09] flight controller there's no tune we are just going 80 M an hour through the air in total freedom and that's what that's what these are doing for me it's and that o that's magic that is Magic
[00:53:28] render says sending that bad elrs ao5 back to hd0 and they have a new one coming out to me awesome elrs bench test is honestly the best and then render also says Magnet Wire for for you're using it for antennas right that's awesome that HD Zer is hooking you up
[00:53:45] love to hear that four little pig says good day he's standing UPS from from him saying good day it's unbelievable he's actually standing upside down right now where we're all standing right side up he's standing upside
[00:54:03] down crazy he's on the same spaceship as us hurdling Through The Ether but he's standing upside down on it he can't put stuff in his pockets because it falls out hits him in the chin when he pees he gets it all no I'll
[00:54:24] stop there Curtis hay says 65 or hummingbird 3.1 I can't answer that because my hummingbird 3.1 won't bind to my nammo module but if you're going to be racing and you want to be super competitive hummingbird 3.1 for most other
[00:54:48] things air 65 that might change once I beat the crap out of the hummingbird 3.1 and it hopefully survives the key word there is hopefully the the regular hummingbird 3 was not very
[00:55:09] durable and so I'm super skeptical of the hummingbird 3.1 I was about I I'm just waiting to get my hands on that Nomad module and I need to get off my ass and just order it I I I was waiting for radio Master to get back to me and then they finally did and I kind of
[00:55:29] forgot to get back to them to be H them getting back to me was telling me to email them and then I I just I got busy with stuff and so I need to get my hands on that on that Nomad module so I can fly my huming word 3.1 again not again in the first place but if
[00:55:46] you're if you're going to dive into racing and you want to be competitive the hummingbird 3.1 is apparently like just get it and win the air 65 is
[00:55:54] really good they both have direct soldered Motors so I don't know for me it's the mobul 6 2024 motor plugs are the jam but that's just me so there you go hopefully that helps himox o himox one says air 65 when I land not disarming the motors sound like a jet engine shutting
[00:56:24] off that's weird does anything bad happen or does it just sound silly if nothing bad happens I I would probably just ignore it I I I don't know where to start on that troubleshoot though because I've never
[00:56:42] experienced oh wait a second not disarming well just disarm when you land problem solved yeah I don't have a lot to go on I I I I I don't have a lot to go on from Motors sound like jet engine shutting off but when you are armed and here's what I'll say when you are armed and you
[00:57:07] land the pit Loop is always going to get super confused the pit Loop has no clue what the ground is it only wants to be up in the air and when the pit Loop sees error maybe the wind hits it's pushes against that error so when you land it
[00:57:25] doesn't understand what the ground is so if it moves on the ground the ground is going to kind of push on it and it's not going to understand what that is it's going to think that that's error and it's going to try to fix that so all kinds of weird happens when you've got the pit Loop running and you're on the ground so when you when you
[00:57:47] land disarm is actually the right answer because you should kind of never be on the ground when you're not disarmed but hopefully that helps chronic nugget says I've missed the past few streams what's the tldr on why you've changed opinions on 2S 75mm
[00:58:06] I wouldn't say that I've changed opinions I've just finally like 1 S65 I went really hard on it ran its course I figured out like damn near the perfect combination awesome moved on to 1S 75mm pushed it
[00:58:23] as as far as I could it sort of ran Gran course and now I'm on to 2S 75mm the one of the things I will say that kind of opened it up are these batteries previously 2S was just super heavy but these tiny whoop 300 Mah
[00:58:43] batteries are extremely light and these allow you to build a 75mm 2S rig that's only like 2 G I think it is heavier than a comparable 1S setup and so that legitimately was something that kind of changed the game BT 3.0
[00:59:04] also BT 3.0 is significantly lighter than xt30 with balance lead so those two things absolutely did change it but mainly it was just that I finally built one at first it was the WalkSnail setup that I've been having a hell of a time with the with the vtx's
[00:59:24] on and now I'm on to the analog stuff which I kind of did on a whim when the when the third WalkSnail VTX blew up and I'm super no actually I'm sorry I'm sorry it was newbie drone sending me the blv 5 which is a 2S a really heavy 2s
[00:59:43] 75mm rig it flew so good even though it was so heavy that it completely opened my eyes to like The Magic that is 2S and it really all of this has just shined a light on the fact that
[00:59:43] with these 75mm rigs in order to get the power output and the efficiency that we really want to fly outside of the house 2S is the way to go so that's kind of the the situation there throw a couple of batteries on
[00:59:43] here we'll do some flying in a little bit let me start playing this flight footage actually you'll notice the the color of the ducts in the bottom of the screen smoke crotch gray ducts are the 083s the clear ducts is the t-motor 102s
[00:59:43] just in case you missed the beginning of the stream we will replay the first little bit here 72 hold on let me make sure that I'm on the right file this is a different t-shirt so this ain't the right file all
[00:59:43] right so first up it's the it's the 102 rig and you're going to see postflight statistics I want you to pay attention to those those are super important you're all the main thing that you want to look at in the postflight stats I'm going to show you real quick here which is the RPM down here on the
[00:59:43] bottom so 49,7 you're going to see like 53,000 I think RPM out of the 102 Motors and then the 0803 motors I think you're only going to see about 50,000 RPM that is a perfect example of which Motors are pushing harder I believe that they're both motor limited to roughly the same amount and they're both roughly the same KV and so
[00:59:43] I could get more RPM out of either one of them by just upping the motor limiting but I'm trying to balance it with the the run time also the the total arm time is is pretty important and some of this stuff some of the other stuff is kind of fun but um you're also going to see me go into the tune
[00:59:43] and start screwing around with that a little bit so I'm just going to let these run and you can kind of make up some of your own decisions here this is flying out in front of the house which you guys have seen me do a million times so hopefully you have a half decent barometer of like what a powerful
[00:59:43] rig looks like what an underpower rig looks like in this area that's one of the reasons that I always make sure that when I'm testing I fly in the front of the house in the back of the house and I try to do a lot of the same stuff I try to jump up over the roof in the same way I try to shoot in between the trees in the
[00:59:43] same way to hopefully help you guys figure that stuff out but the main thing is like I I just I feel so confident flying these rigs they just feel so good I got to I got to go into the the goggles and turn off I I can't believe that it's saving the the
[00:59:43] red recc and 2S 7.1 volts and all this nonsense in the DVR that that seems absolutely ridiculous let me actually do that now since you guys aren't looking at me so one of the problems that I'm having with it and I think I figured this out after these four batteries
[00:59:43] was when I'm doing throttle when I'm jamming the throttle up and down really quickly it's either dropping the nose or dropping the ass that's what I'm that's why I'm just pumping the throttle here is to try to dial that out so you saw me raise the you saw me raise the
[00:59:43] the anti-gravity up that's like the the specific thing that tries to fix that behavior but also you're going to see me move the pids up a little bit which is which is also fine I mean I'm also trying to find figure out what the limit is on the on the pit on
[00:59:43] this thing so OSD orbit what the hell is that I'm in the goggles right now OSD mode at startup adjust OSD elements no none of that makes any sense record option this is probably where it's going to be record mode Auto record format MP4
[00:59:43] ah there it is record OSD yes I'm going to change that to no and then record audio yes all right good to go that must have changed when I updated the goggles which is kind of frustrating what why would it not keep the old setting I bet you they changed the name of the of the option or something
[00:59:43] like that one of the one of the big things in terms of like flight performance here is the hang time even though this rig is a little bit heavier than the 1S 75s that I built the additional power creates so much more up W momentum that you get a lot more R
[00:59:43] a lot more hang time from these 2S Rigs and it's the right amount of hang time like this just it feels right there's there's with the the 1 s75 rigs there's a big adjustment between flying everything else and them even like 65
[00:59:43] millimeter rigs the the power to weight ratio of the 65 mil rigs is much better than the 75s and then so when you go here to the 2 when you go to 2S it just fixes that man it just gives you so much more
[00:59:43] throttle response so much better response time and so much more just raw power but at the same time it doesn't become overpowered like I'm still able to drop down into those bushes and fly around in there really
[00:59:43] really really accurately which is partly because it's still nice and lightweight but it's also because it's got so much better response time that when I need to make a quick correction I can do it very easily so now we're on to the wait are we still on the same file
[00:59:43] 42 we still on 7 or 72 there we go at some point here it'll automatically switch to the next file but you'll you'll see the the prop guards on the bottom here change to gray and that way it's a it's the 0803 rig again like I said
[00:59:43] earlier they're they're very very similar I am going to plug them into BetaFlight and we'll take a look at the the motor limiting but I'm pretty sure that they're both at either 80 or 85% what else what else what else what else what else they're both pretty durable you're going to see a
[00:59:43] bunch of pretty hard crashes on both of these the I think I did notice the t-motor rig is well let me oh what the t-motor rig also has this propeller that has these two huge gashes in it so let me not continue that sentence I was basically going to say that it's seems like the t-motor rig has a little bit of
[00:59:43] jello but with with this propeller on here I am not surprised at that so we will withhold judgment there also like these are not brand new Motors both of these motors I have crashed a bunch on the WalkSnail rig when I was testing it on there
[00:59:43] and so there's that which is important to kind of remember all right so now the prop guards are gray so this is the 0803 rig and we're going to go from it's also a different camera this is the the the shittier runam 3 that's like
[00:59:43] super contrasty and has this weird purple chromatic aberration going on and on the left side of it's just straight up got like a big purple band kind of annoying but still super lightweight and you get to use the mobula 6 canopy
[00:59:43] but hopefully this camera breaks at some point so I can get rid of it because it just doesn't look as good as the regular run cam Nano threes so you see me kind of screwing around with bumping the oh oh oh I forgot to say so I figured out what was
[00:59:43] causing the the the nose or the ass to dip it's the center of gravity the I need to figure out a better way to keep these batteries dead center in the battery Bay of this mobula 7 V3 canopy frame and I think it's just
[00:59:43] going to be the I think it's just going to be a couple of wraps of tape electric tape or the the cloth kind of uh hockey stick tape but I think that's what's happening like I I I think I'm just I'm
[00:59:43] either not centering the battery perfectly or the first crash the battery shifts right little crash there the battery shifts a little bit far forward and now the center of gravity is too far forward and when you really quickly raise the throttle the the the heavier side is going to lag
[00:59:43] behind a little bit so I'm pretty sure it's a it's a CG issue but turning the anti-gravity up and turning the tune up a little bit actually did a really good job at it didn't totally get rid of it but it made it like almost imperceptible to the point where I stopped thinking about it and I just
[00:59:43] kind of flew which is that's kind of my approach to tuning is that you want to tune the rig to the point where you don't think about tuning anymore and then just fly it if you can get the rig to fly so good that you forget about tuning that's kind of it like why
[00:59:43] would you push beyond that what I mean so I need a replacement left side High there we go is that a two mil t-motor 102's non-drilled out GemFan 1610 bade Perfect Fit fantastic so that combination does
[00:59:43] not need to be drilled out in case you were wondering again these are the 083s the the I I tried to get the up tilt as similar as possible between these two rigs I think it's pretty good they felt so similar so so so similar has
[00:59:43] anybody been paying attention to the Max RPM I I try to give all these builds a big hit of Full Throttle early in the battery and then disarm them so that we can like kind of look at that number if anybody has has been paying attention drop it into the chat please but I I think it's I think it's like
[00:59:43] 53,000 RPM versus 50,000 RPM if you can get a build above 50,000 RPM boy that's going to make some power that's a good round number if you're like trying to back out like U Motors and whatnot on these on these tiny whoops 50,000 is a is is a is a good round
[00:59:43] number between like good power and then not quite good enough power nah that's a bit harsh really good power versus just okay Power let's say that let's say that what else what else what else what else what else what else what else let me keep going through chat
[00:59:43] here artum artum s says have you tried the 8mm Glide I have not ardam I am perfectly happy with the old school Glide frame and I barely fly 5in rigs anymore and so I just have not I've not built one yet I will at some
[00:59:43] point but first I will build the C the C or V2 I have one that's like almost half done if you get it by the way if you get a leaf sitting on top of your tiny whoop just use uh Turtle mode Turtle mode will make thrust that goes upwards and you can blow the leaves off that's what
[00:59:43] you just saw me do there so there you go now is going to be another 0803 battery this might also be the battery where the goggles blacked out on me for a couple of seconds that was a little bit weird but I've heard about that with the HD zero
[00:59:43] goggles not common but super scary BMF Spade says do you charge your 1S or 2S batteries at 1 C or more figure you would know what's best for keeping your batteries longer here's the long and short of it BMF you discharge these things at
[00:59:43] like 10 to 20 C and so that's where all the damage gets done and it's so much damage it's so much more damaging that like it almost doesn't matter if you charge at 1 C or 2 C or even 3 c because you're just I mean like
[00:59:43] going from 2C to charging all right going from like charging at 1 C to charging at 3C it's it's like it's the difference between like like flicking your arm and then like really flicking your arm hard and then discharging them
[00:59:43] as hard as we discharge them is punching yourself in the arm it's really doesn't make much of a difference technically yes if you always charge at 1 C the batteries are going to last a little bit longer but boy it does not make much of a difference I charge at
[00:59:43] either either F if I'm not in a hurry half an amp on the on the vifly Whooper if I'm in a hurry I charge at09 of an amp and so this is after that antenna broke off and so this the the that one file did stop and it went
[00:59:43] to the next file here automatically so this is where I've already knocked the ceramic antenna off this is me realizing it and then I'm like oh well I'll fly the rest of the battery just like in the garden here up front of the house and I I forgot at some point and fail safed it again but you'll see
[00:59:43] that so it's does not make much of a difference if you're in a hurry never feel bad about charging at like two or even 3C if you're always in a hurry charging at 2C is absolutely not a problem so just keep in mind all the abuse like think of it this way right we discharge this entire battery
[00:59:43] in like three minutes versus you charge it at even 3C and it's going to take like 10 15 minutes right that the amount of time that you either charge or discharge the battery is is exactly related to how much stress you're
[00:59:43] putting on it and so unless you're unless you're limping your batteries around and getting like seven 8 nine 10 minute run times charging is is not where the majority of the abuse is happening unless you go completely nuts and do 5S or 5C or 6C or
[00:59:43] something crazy but 1C 2C 3C not really much of a problem Curtis Hayes says I just got 802 27,000 KV Motors tiny onesies the ow in the mail I'm thinking hd0 75 MIM 1S will that freestyle or 2S and
[00:59:43] motor limit 27,000 KV is is too high I think for 2S and motor limiting you're going to be you're going to need to motor limit that to like 55 60% and that's a bit much in terms of a motor limit
[00:59:43] those Motors are perfect for 1S analog 75mm rigs or like an ao5 i if if you pair those with anything heavier than that like an external hd0 VTX or an external WalkSnail VTX I'm very picky and so maybe
[00:59:43] you'll be okay with it but I was not okay with it's didn't have enough power or runtime or response time for me and so but on analog on a lightweight 75mm rig I actually really really like those Motors so that there you go chronic nugget says have you used RC
[00:59:43] and power 102s you can run them 2S with no motor limit crazy power the the I have RC and Power 102 19,000 or 18,000 whatever they are on the WalkSnail 2S 75mm rig there's me accidentally fail saving it
[00:59:43] again I've not done them on an analog build yet here you go here's the very end of that battery but they're really really good they seem to be ever so slightly better than the t-motor 102s but they're they're pretty close so the the pre the the batteries that
[00:59:43] you're watching here were in the bottom corners there's a white frame that is pretty much exactly what those RC and power 102s perform like Uriel says something but YouTube didn't want me to read it scrolling back up to find my place he says for me it's like
[00:59:43] learning skills combine later it's a good way to think about it and give yourself some room in the head to make mistakes motorbike driving come one with the machine hell man so here you go now we're back onto the t-motor 102s a little bit less uptilt you can see a little bit more duct in view on the bottom there oh this is me
[00:59:43] putting on a dead battery by accident and then I found the charged battery here you go here's the charged battery all right there's I'm going to I I should disarm pretty soon here and show
[00:59:43] you guys the RPM I think you're going to see 53,000 like I said for the record it is getting really dark at this point it's like 501 and it's like super dark at this point I can't believe how early it's getting dark now it was closer to like 5:30 I guess but it's just absurd how early it's getting
[00:59:43] dark I forget about it every year I forget about how obnoxious it is enyi says what is crazy crazy is that when you fly your drone ascends one way on the Y AIS and people on the other side of the world on the other side of the globe Ascend in the opposite
[00:59:43] direction on the y axis mind blown M riten says I finally got my Nomad and permanently evicted my crossfire Crossfire module for my Jr Bay nice dude I cannot wait to do that level one drone says uh this is aelia's window by the way there's there's the goggles blacking out ain't that some
[00:59:43] and it look at that it even stopped the DVR that's interesting this is me just with his AIA when the goggles blacked out I just left the throttle where it was and then luckily they came back uh level one drone says in my
[00:59:43] country moving from one thing to the next is frowned upon so I picked a careerjob to hide my side hobbies and seem normal to society it's changing so I'm not weird anymore what what country is that that's I've that's super interesting
[00:59:43] I mean I I I I think in the US it's kind of frowned upon too which is super weird like who the are you who who the is anybody to what I mean like but that's super interesting that you specifically say that about
[00:59:43] your country I'm very curious what country that is yeah huh interesting level one drone also says real question bt2.0 or bt2 or xt30 for 2S which is better and doesn't matter I'm going to assume that you meant BT 3.0 BT 3.0 is way lighter and it
[00:59:43] doesn't really seem to have much if if any resistance that really matters on 2S so for me it's BT 3.0 the only problem is your battery selection is much more limited on BT 3.0 but the batteries that we do have available to us are awesome boy oh boy did I want to just rail underneath that Volvo there
[00:59:43] but I didn't because I didn't want to break the rig it is it that car is pretty low it's is hard to get under there cleanly I I have I cannot confidently fly under that car it's like 50/50 whether I hit something on the bottom of it xt30 is King for like 3s and 4S well
[00:59:43] BT 3.0 doesn't work on 3s and 4S anyway so but with 2S it seems like BT 3.0 is is the jam it's significantly lighter and the runtime is great super 62 says my bro and I bought a meteor 75 1S both of us have small houses just a blast putting around very cool if you take that
[00:59:43] if you switch to a 65mm frame with some high KV 72s you can just transfer it right on over and it'll be even better in that small house it'll be a little bit heavy because that meteor 75 camera canopy VTX setup is just a little bit heavy but you'll drop a bunch of
[00:59:43] weight from going down to 72s and going down to a 65mm frame like the like the my favorite is the Newbie drone cockroach V3 or the light AF cockroach V3 for durability light AF for Ultra lightweight yeah and it'll that's
[00:59:43] that's not an expensive thing like you're going to pay like 40 bucks for a set of Motors get like a set of tiny whoop or Weeble 0702 40,000 or 36,000 so you're going to spend like 40 bucks on Motors and then you're going to spend
[00:59:43] like $4 on the frame and four five bucks on propellers and it's going to be awesome if you want super durability wee bed 0702 32,500 KV Motors are offered with a 1 and a half millimeter motor shaft and then Weeble also sells the GemFan 1210 by blades in 1 and2 mm that'll be a
[00:59:43] bomb proof setup and then you just you do what I do and you have a frame with motors and props and then you just unplug the motors you take the four screws out you take the whole Center section up out of one frame and you drop it into the other and you can
[00:59:43] try out a 65mm rig inside the house fair warning you're probably not going to go back to the 75mm setup but if you start flying out outside then you might want the 75mm setup you might actually like the 65mm setup outside but still
[00:59:43] you'll in a small house the 65s just they weigh so much less that they're a lot easier to fly and when they're easier to fly you can do more gnarly stuff it becomes less like trying not to crash and more like can I Matty flip the railing can I Matty flip this
[00:59:43] gate that I hung off the ceiling stuff so give it a shot if if you want to treat yourself to a little 50 $60 Christmas present Uriel says are the ball bearings in Motors open Can You Lube them with high RPM the lube becomes oil and goes out so you have to
[00:59:43] lube sometimes I believe they are shielded but you can just drop a tiny whoop cells motor Lube you can just drop it right on there and it'll work its way in um I don't run many Motors that have ball bearings for the small stuff
[00:59:43] I guess I H what I have to say is on 65mm rigs I don't really run stuff that has bearings but it looks like all of these bigger than 0702 motors have bearings so um I don't recommend that you oil bearings unless they're like really
[00:59:43] noisy because when you put oil in there the oil gets flung out everywhere and then having that oil on there attracts dirt so the only time that I will oil a motor bearing is when it's like dead already and I'm just trying to make it last a few more batteries and that's the expectation like once I put
[00:59:43] oil in it's like well this is going to attract a ton of dirt and it's going to ruin this motor but before that happens I can at least not throw it out
[00:59:43] I I put oil in them when I'm about to throw the motors out if if you're going to make it a habit get dry lube mountain bikers use this like magical dry lube stuff on their mountain bike chains because it doesn't attract dirt in the same way that I guess wet Lube would be all other
[00:59:43] lbe what what all other Lubes are called and so do that timman says evening have you touched on the new Matrix AI from BetaFPV for the new 75 Pro and they're also bringing out an HD version Curious on your thoughts we talked about it a few streams ago
[00:59:43] it seems it's just their 5 in one with motor plugs which is great I mean that that is awesome I love that I've not heard I've heard that the the the the BetaFPV 4 in1 and 5 in1 are not the most durable aios ever so I'm still very like guarded about those aios in in
[00:59:43] recommending them mine have been okay the UFL rips off when you unplug the antenna which is a major you and that's something that really makes me like what so I don't know hopefully
[00:59:43] they've fixed that no idea skic says why MP4 not TS my computer has a lot harder time all computers have a lot harder time with transfer stream files rather than MP4s and so I was using Ts for a while and then I just got annoyed with
[00:59:43] it and switched it back to MP4 MP4 sucks because if I power off the goggles before it is stopped recording it corrupts the file but I've gotten into the habit of unplugging the quad before I unplug before I turn off my goggles and I've not made that mistake in a while you can
[00:59:43] actually see you can see the last time I made that mistake these are all okay these are all totally fine the mistake is oh that's right when I updated the goggles it put it back into transport stream mode all right so here we go here we
[00:59:43] go back farther there you go so here's a here's me making that mistake this is me accidentally turning off the goggles before I unplug the quad unplug the whoop and there I made the mistake again that's not too bad though this is a lot of files and I only made that mistake twice in all these files and you can
[00:59:43] see down here I haven't made the mistake recently oh there speak of the devil I have but it's just like what here here's a perfect example transport stream spacebar waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting oh and it that's right that's the other thing the the OS just thinks
[00:59:43] that it's an audio file I have to open every single one of these in in VLC or Ina or something that's the main reason I forgot about that that's the main reason is that I can't just go through the goey and hit hit space bar and look at the files whereas
[00:59:43] with the MP4s I can very quickly thumb through these files and figure out which one's which so it's a it's a that's why Blue Sky FPV says do if the vifly whoop store is amp SL battery I don't
[00:59:43] I always see it I always set at 0.9 because I thought it was divided by all it might be when I put it to 0.9 and I put a whole bunch of batteries on it's takes the here if if you are charging batteries at too high of a c
[00:59:43] rating they will get done too quickly you will put them on the charger you'll do like a couple things it'll be like 5 minutes later and the battery will be done charging ing that's too fast that you want batteries to charge over like at least 10 minutes if not like 15 or so
[00:59:43] minutes that's the right amount of time basically heat excessive heat is what kills batteries so if you're ever wondering am I charging a battery too fast touch it if the battery is burning hot that's a problem same thing with your drone if you fly your drone around and you touch the battery and it's
[00:59:43] boiling hot that's not good that that's too much as long as they're not getting boiling hot you're totally fine and I just touched these two batteries well this is only on 0 five of an amp but you can test that if you put one put it up to 0.9 put one battery on and and
[00:59:43] time it see how long it takes to charge it and then put six batteries on and time it if it takes the same amount of time then it's doing .9 amps to each
[00:59:43] individual battery level one Jord Al also says the Bahamas great for tourists but not so much for locals growing up it was all about working in the tourism industry which I hated and avoided so I was extra weird up until my 20s that was the end of the conversation about what country
[00:59:43] really looks down on people that change careers super interesting the Bahamas huh I guess that makes sense they they want to push everybody in towards the tourist industry because that's what keeps that Island going which matters on Islands because they're
[00:59:43] islands and the sea level is drastically Rising Alec Kiren says thoughts on the fractal whoop frames a 2S 75mm build seems like it would be awesome on the fractal F75 I spent quite a bit of time trying to make the 65 and 75mm fractal
[00:59:43] frames work better than any of these plastic frames and they never did anything better they always had worse runtime less power worse flight characteristics basically because of those first two things the way that they mount the
[00:59:43] camera on the front is a joke and the camera never sits straight forward it's always pointed in One Direction or the other and leaning in One Direction or the other and if you want to fly terrible do that point your camera a little bit off or have your camera y
[00:59:43] off on the roll axis a little bit you will fly terrible because every time that you level The Horizon the damn thing is going to slide sideways so you perfectly line a gap up and you flatten out the Horizon and you're like I'm ready for this Gap and by the time you get to the Gap you're over here and you're like what the hell just happened
[00:59:43] and then you do it again and you line it up perfectly and then you're over here again you're like this is impossible that is the worst part
[00:59:43] about their frames is the camera mount is just ridiculous the long and short of it is that their frames don't solve any actual problems that we have carbon fiber is a great material for frames and builds that that have lower
[00:59:43] RPMs where we're dealing with vibrations that are hard to tune out and hard to filter out tiny whoops are not that tiny whoops are crazy high RPM which is super easy to filter out and so the plastic frames are actually
[00:59:43] amazing the other thing that happens is the the plastic frames already have a bunch of stuff blocking the thrust well now you put another a piece of flat horribly aerodynamic carbon fiber down here and it blocks more of the thrust
[00:59:43] that's why they make less thrust and they have less efficiency and so they're they're they're when you see their them you're like oh that's awesome all of my bigger rigs are on carbon fiber frames surely that makes sense for tiny whoops as well but it's just it just doesn't make sense and when you like look at
[00:59:43] every single racer not a single one of them flies it fly fly those frames if you look at most people that fly tiny whoop freestyle nobody flies those frames everybody tries those frames because they all have that same experience of like oh this should be better and then they usually fly for
[00:59:43] a while because they're they're I spent money on this I put a bunch of time into doing this build but then slowly but surely they realized just like I did like this thing is worse in every way like what am I doing and then eventually you bail on
[00:59:43] it and you go back to a plastic frame and you're like oh right this is way better so it's I tried boy did I try hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of batteries on fractal frames to try to get them to work right the other big problem is actually durability there they actually are
[00:59:43] holistically they are less durable because you are hard mounting your Motors to the carbon fiber and the motors take a lot of abuse on these things when you crash and especially with a 1 mm motor shaft you will just wreck Motors on those frames you actually want the the the plastic frame
[00:59:43] because it'll give a little bit when you smack into something it'll give and the frame will take a bunch of the energy from the Collision rather than just dumping it all into the motor where you're going to bend your motor shaft and so if if you have a bunch of Motors that you hate and you want to get rid of by all means put them onto a
[00:59:43] frame that has a carbon fiber brace on it but if if you don't want that if you want your Motors to last longer which I most certainly do because they are a definite weak point especially with 1 mm motor shafts on Tiny whoops plastic frames are are King but all you have to look at is
[00:59:43] like what the majority of the people fly and it's plastic frames plastic frames are the way to go lighter less obstructions to thrust more durable you can get a pit tune that doesn't prop wash ever very easily and what's left right just being different like if
[00:59:43] you just want to be different and be in this little tiny group of different people sure but I would rather fly something it performs better that's just me King dingling says did you catch Ryan ket's video from yesterday some genuine HD zero Easter eggs in there I started
[00:59:43] to watch it and then for some reason I stopped watching it I forget why I forget why I stopped watching it but I'm looking forward to watching it that that's the video in reference to the new firmware I believe for the goggles
[00:59:43] I'm looking forward to watching it Boondock Striker says do you ever think they would make ceramic bearings for brushless motors this is a big thing in the cycling world they have luminer did that many years ago with their 5-in Motors and ceramic is very
[00:59:43] it's not fragile it's just brittle and so it is a nightmare if if if you crash for like a long range rig that you're never going to crash it might get you a little bit more efficiency but nobody does it anymore because it's just God forbid you crash that
[00:59:43] rig the bearings are going to explode and it's not going to be good for you I'm surprised that they use them in the cycling World cuz they hit they hit potholes and curbs and I I would think that they would blow up but maybe their maybe their wheel bearings are big enough where the the brittleness of
[00:59:43] the ceramic is not enough or it's actually could be just that the cycling world is completely insane when it comes to gear and they will sacrifice damn near anything for a 0.01% Improvement in
[00:59:43] performance so probably a little bit of c a little bit com B Uriel says house price rise in Atlanta I think I think house prices are kind of going up every where I don't think there's anything specific to Atlanta though and Yoki says is the option for
[00:59:43] the additional replacement pins on the Weebly prop removal tool essential or kind of Overkill kind of Overkill I'm more interested in the the little drill bits and you could use the little drill bits as pins so I
[00:59:43] would not get additional I would not get replaced pins I would get the little drill bits if that's an option I I don't know if that's zot sent me a set of them I don't know if it was something that got put into like production or or whatever so not sure but I'll put it this way you'll you'll probably never break
[00:59:43] one of those pins you should never break one of those pins and I'm caught up look at that holy crap all right let's oh my God it's 8 it's 11:45 hey I watched I watched the the part of it is the ad option for the drillbits get the drets instead I watched
[00:59:43] yesterday's stream back to make sure that I wasn't being an when those attacked me I didn't even say anything to them the dude is like the the one guy was like I've been a subscriber forever and you treat me like this I didn't treat him like anything I didn't say anything to him what a
[00:59:43] douche they were trolls I felt all bad cuz like a whole bunch of people were like's wrong and I was like oh okay maybe I'm wrong but no no there just a bunch of wads so they all got they all got hidden from the entire
[00:59:43] Channel all right we're going to replace this elrs antenna any other questions on the 2S rigs I should you you guys the flight footage I don't know if anybody picked up on the on the RPM stuff but well actually hold on hold on first and foremost let's plug these into BetaFlight I want to take a super quick look
[00:59:43] at where the motor limiting is at on each of them so the first one I'm plugging in here is on the sub 250 the company 0803 I got to check I think they're 19,000 but let me check yep 19,000 KV Motors and so let's take a quick look at
[00:59:43] what the what the motor limiting is at on this just so that we have a good head to head comparison they're on the same same frame same prop same everything different aios but they're 10 and 12 amp aios so I I the aios are not limiting their performance at all so
[00:59:43] the 803s are at 85% motor output limit and then the t-motor 102s are coming up here okay the t-motor 102s are at 80% wow okay so the t-motor 102s are1 18,000 KV and they're only at an 80% motor output
[00:59:43] limit but they still make more power so wow that's drastic that that's a they're making significantly more RPM and they're a 5% lower motor output limit and they're a th000 KV lower of a motor so the sub 25083 it's okay but it is significantly
[00:59:43] less powerful than the t-motor 102 and I think from the WalkSnail testing the t-motor 102 is a little bit less powerful than the RC in Power 102 so my least favorite motors for sure are these sub 250 803s but they're still
[00:59:43] decent I mean they're they're they fly totally fine I will do some more so efficiency now becomes the last thing that I need to figure out and in terms of efficiency I'm just going to have to fly like four batteries on each of these and then get an
[00:59:43] average of those run times and then we can talk about that so far though both of these rigs I get over three minutes of runtime and if I get over three minutes I don't even really care that much about efficiency but I know that you guys do so I will absolutely test it but
[00:59:43] there you go and here's where I landed on the pids and all this other nonsense don't copy other people stuff just run stock tune and then if you want a little bit more if you want a little bit more pit tune just push the master multiplier up here a
[00:59:43] little bit if you want to dive in a little bit you can push the damping slider up from 1.0 to 1.2 and then 1.4 at that point you're going to move the tracking slider up to 1.1 and then if you want more go up to 1.6 1.3 then 1.8 1.5 like you see here and then 2.0
[00:59:43] 1.7 this is in my opinion the best ratio of D gain to p and I gain so if you keep this ratio here where basically the damping slider is3 higher than the tracking slider you're going to get flight performance similar to mine where it's really like gooey in the air
[00:59:43] and it's really soft and it's got that like really cool almost cinematic look but at the same time if you go full stick it snaps and it and it rotates like a son of a so there are my rates don't copy my rates run your own specific rates and then here's where the filters are this is
[00:59:43] the rig with the X12 in it actually let me take a look at what gyro I think it's an ICM gyro you type status into the CLI and then it'll show you what your gyro is and I was right ICM 42 688 so there you go don't copy that but feel free to
[00:59:43] use that as like a bit of a guide set Yours up individually because you're a different pilot you're in a different elevation you build a little bit differently than me but you can use that as a little bit of a guide and
[00:59:43] push yours towards those numbers I'm getting pretty aggressive on these and it's completely fine so far which is great but if you don't build quite as clean as I do you might not be able to get that far into those numbers so don't just copy work your way up run it
[00:59:43] dead stock and it's probably going to be totally fine if it's not quite there you can start to push it up a little bit but don't just like mash it all the way up to where I'm at Blue Sky says do you have any experience with the flywoo 102 Motors any thoughts on them they're fine they're not quite as powerful as the RC
[00:59:43] and Powers so they're probably right on par with the t- motors but I ran them for a long time and they were completely fine they were nice and durable no real complaints other than they weren't quite as good as the as the rcing powers so if
[00:59:43] they're the only motor that you can get or something you'll love them they'll be they'll be absolutely great and they sell them in
[00:59:43] cool purple and gold so if you're buying them because of the way that they look ain't no shame in that they're going to they're going to perform completely fine I am going to throw another ortt antenna on this little guy here is
[00:59:43] this one of the new ones it sure is okay so I got the canopy off where the hell was the there it is it's on the left side so when a when an elrs ceramic antenna breaks off it leaves you with four itty bitty pads
[00:59:43] the intelligent way to do it let's do it the intelligent way previously I've shown you how to do it the the caveman way which is to solder the antenna to one of those pads plug it in fire it up see if the RSSI sucks if it does you're on the wrong pad solder it to a different pad repeat solder it to a different pad repeat but on this on
[00:59:43] the the ceramic antenna three of the four pads are ground and then one of the pads is signal so if you have a multimeter which you're into FPV you need to have a multimeter we can figure this out king dingling says no budget box goggles with analog and a 2
[00:59:43] 2s ao5 okay I think that's a continuation of the 75mm conversation Blue Sky says thanks for that I they come in groups of five Motors really who does that that's amazing I wish everybody did that with Motors for about the same price as the RC and
[00:59:43] power all right this is going to be a struggle for me to show you because these pads are Itty Bitty but they're right here and someday this might Focus today's not that day
[00:59:43] though look at that why does hitting it work every time so there's the four pads on the bottom there you see them right above the the Bing Bong right here 1 two 3 four and you can kind of see they have like they have like a thing on them you see like the thing that's on top of these you got to
[00:59:43] get that thing off it's solder it's like the bottom of the ceramic antenna or something so you got to get that off it's easy to get off you just heat it up so what we're going to do you just hit's with the tip of the soldering iron so what we're going to do is put some flux on here
[00:59:43] and of course the the flux syringe is clogged again hang on declog ify this real quick declog ification compl declog ification complete complete declog ification compl compl declog ification
[00:59:43] complete have any of you guys rewatched the movie that that's from Goldfinger in the last like 10 years holy does it not hold up in my opinion at least there we go so this is the hglrc Spectre board
[00:59:43] and boy there are there are a lot of components around where this ceramic antenna used to be this might be disastrous here I'm going to try to hold this thing up so that you guys can see what the hell I'm doing but if the camera goes out of focus or if I'm not holding it up properly sucks to be
[00:59:43] you all right so there's just these things so you just get down on the pad and you just like kind of push them out of the way I don't know it's super weird but you'll see there it is just push it out of the way and once it comes off the pad you're good to go a lot of times it'll stick to the tip of the soldering
[00:59:43] iron see it moving around I don't know if you can see it moving around but now I just moved it onto the other pad now it's on this other Pad but now you can see that left pad there is is all clean now it's just solder these little things are but they're what I do know is
[00:59:43] that they're non-conductive so you got to kind of deal with them flux really helps and I don't have quite enough of it on here there we go see that see how I just pushed it right off of there I'm trying to just touched the canopy with the soldering iron that sucks trying to push well let Let's test those two pads I've got two pads
[00:59:43] free although hold on the one little piece is like Bridging the other two pads kind of doesn't matter because it's non-conductive but I still want to get it out of there and one of them is stuck to the tip of the soldering iron right now so I'm going to knock that off in the in
[00:59:43] the copper stuff let me throw some more flux on here okay that's looking good all right got this pad nice and hot get off of there hold on let's get this pad hot too oh man they are like on there now go there it
[00:59:43] goes there it goes oh boy well I got it to the point where it's not touching between those two pads so let's see let's get the multimeter going and we'll see if we can if one of the two pads that's
[00:59:43] clean has has no fresh the giveaways are the first Monday of every month so next Monday I guess that means is a giveaway stream so I'm gonna put the multimeter into this mode here which is like a little is like the sound mode and the
[00:59:43] with the sound it's like a little picture of a speaker what the sound mode does is if there's a short it beeps no short no beep short beep no short no beep so what I'm going to do here is I'm going to find a ground pad
[00:59:43] so where's the battery lead at all right so here's the battery lead pad so here's a ground pad off on the right I'm touching the it doesn't matter red versus black so I've got one of these on the ground pad and now I'm just going to touch these other ones and see if we get a beep oh that's the signal pad right
[00:59:43] there yep so this is the signal pad when I touch it I get no beep when I touch this one I get a beep when I touch this one this stuff is non-conductive so I don't get a beep but this one does not beep
[00:59:43] and so that is not a ground pad so on the hglrc Spectre AIO the signal pad when your ceramic antenna breaks off is the pad right below where it says version 1.3 there's an LED right next to it here it's this pad on the far
[00:59:43] left cool I don't necessarily know if I recommend that you get this hglrc Spectre AIO versus like the HappyModel X12 uh if I keep running this and it keeps not blowing up then it'll maybe be a viable option but I have had a
[00:59:43] terrible history with hglrc and this AIO claims that it's both 1S and 2S but it does not work on 1S it will not spin the propellers on 1S so that right there infuriates me that they that they call it a 1S and 2S compatible
[00:59:43] AO but it absolutely doesn't work on on on 1S which is just insane I got two of them in a row that that had the exact same behavior and the the customer service first person at get FPV when I told him about the second one he said what don't even
[00:59:43] bother sending it back we know that they're bad just keep it and we'll refund you and that's why I'm that's why I'm able to even use this I'm going to actually message get FPV and say here's a here's some feedback for you and I'm going to offer to pay for this they probably won't let me but I'm going to tell them look if you change your
[00:59:43] website to say that this is just 2S 2s only you will stop getting them returned by back to you so there's not quite enough solder on that pad so we're going to Tin it just add a little tiny bit of extra solder and then we're just going to pop
[00:59:43] this little piece of wire on there and we'll be back in business so here we go tip of this well let's just do this I'm just going to put the solder on the tip of the iron and then I'm just going to touch that to the pad
[00:59:43] and once the heat transfers there it goes and now so it made I don't know if you could see it but it made a little you couldn't see it's made a little Hershey Kiss that's fine I'm going to put this antenna down and I'm going to put some flux on it and it won't have that ugly Hershey Kiss on it anymore I I mean technically speaking it's kind
[00:59:43] of nice right now because it gives me a place to put a little bit of flux but you would never want to leave something I lost the little there it is so here's the little tiny piece of wire we are just going to strip a little bit of this yellow
[00:59:43] insulation off let's look at one side look at the other it doesn't really matter let me try my fingernails first you want to remove like just the tiniest little bit fingernails don't seem to be quite cutting
[00:59:43] it let's try fire I've heard I think this is PVC insulation apparently you can just use fire to burn a little bit of that off let's try it I mean it's turned it
[00:59:43] black I'm going to use fire and then fingernail h ah sorry guys I'm doing this off camera well I'm doing it on the wrong camera I should say hell I don't know I mean it's kind
[00:59:43] of made it's looks it's kind of shiny oh no that totally the trick I don't necessarily know if I'd recommend fire but it sort of worked don't use fire but it did kind of
[00:59:43] work the rear of the Quad is to the right so let's let's get the antenna pointing in that direction no no no no let's go yeah yeah let's go this Direction with it all right this will be fine I can tuck it up into the canopy so it is this is the
[00:59:43] easy part put it on in there you just you do want to make sure that you get this as flat to the PAD as you possibly can and then the really important part is to put some E6000 on this I'm actually not going to put this the rest of the way back together because what I have found is if you don't put a blob
[00:59:43] of E6000 here at the base of this little wire antenna eventually this wire will will eventually this wire will bend and bend and bend in the exact same spot and then break so just put a blob a nice sized blob of
[00:59:43] E6000 at the base of this antenna here and it'll just never ever ever break I'm actually going to use t7000 because I'm an OG no that's not why that's a weird thing to say I'm going to use it because it's
[00:59:43] what I have although also there's a little LED right next to this I'm going to put some of this black t7000 over that led I like to kind of black these LEDs out a little bit and so just make the blob go up the antenna a little bit and that's going to really really
[00:59:43] really help that an kind of just live forever not that you could see it because Logitech is the worst company on Earth and should be beaten with a hammer a thousand times all right my God Logitech how are you so
[00:59:43] awful there it is we fixed it we fixed it fly your six batteries my friend I'm going to fly a couple real quick before we shut this thing on down we're going to put the same rigs up in the air the air 65 champion and then my Ultimate Freestyle tiny whoop same as yesterday let's see if I'm any better at flying them tonight because
[00:59:43] boy I was flying like a box of smashed last night hold on let me remember to turn my saering iron off for a change Post in chat the longest period of time that you've left your soldering iron on by accident who's who has left their soldering iron on for the
[00:59:43] longest amount of time I've done I've done about probably about 18 hours before I've left it on from a live stream and then didn't realize it until like 4 to 6 o'clock the following day I might have left it on for a weekend at one point come to think of
[00:59:43] it B Bor bit says three days I think everybody's left it on overnight but beyond overnight is where the the the Real Men start start to show up does that mean air 65 Champion first totally
[00:59:43] stock other than I removed the ground plane from the antenna to lighten it up a little bit and I switched the propellers to the HQ ultral light 1.2 by 0.9 by 3es 10 days oh Frosty Dave gun says you're done with WalkSnail whoops not at all all but the WalkSnail
[00:59:43] vtx's keep blowing up and so I only get to fly them for like a week or two and then the VTX grenades and I have to rip it all apart wait for a new one put it all back in so I love them I absolutely love them and the one that's on my RC
[00:59:43] drift car chasing 1S 65mm rig has lasted at least a 100 batteries which is great but the ones that I've run on freestyle rigs are not lasting very long at all which is like super frustrating because they're so good they're so good my God they're
[00:59:43] so good see what's happening upstairs hey woo we just tapped the wall on that one Jesus this thing has so much power I almost hit aalia oh my God iselia what are you doing what are you eating should I go in her Bowl oh there's a Teddy behind me Teddy's protecting his areia what a good dog oh the fan is
[00:59:43] [Laughter] cranking boy this is a mistake and I think the F oh the fan is pulling airit was pulling me up into it so when it's when you put your heat on you're supposed to change your fans so that they pull air upwards and if I get high enough all right so check my hover throttle I can't look at it what's my
[00:59:43] hover throttle is it oh boyit was totally pulling me up into it you guys can it looked like 32% hover throttle not up by the fan oh God no no no don't throw towards the fan you donkey look Teddy is straight up protecting aelia what's she watching oh she's watching queso what's
[00:59:43] queso playing what's this game that he's playing oh no no no fan oh the fan is not usually on I kind of want to crash into aelia's food bowl oh God I love that child so
[00:59:43] much oh oh what what wait a second I I'm G to have to watch that back I oh you son of a you I think I just did a power Loop through one of the gates and then like vertical figure AED through the other gate not really on
[00:59:43] purpose but whatever I'm down with being lucky and good little bit of good little bit of lucky that's fine Dave G to ordered some parts for a 1 s75 from everything you told us I should put the parts on a 65 Frame 0802 Motors
[00:59:43] 27,000 sort of I mean if it's an analog 75 those Motors will be great not quite as great as the 2 s's but pretty great those Motors will not be great on a 65 those Motors are too heavy for a 65mm rig so you're you're kind of in it you're in it
[00:59:43] now for the for the 1S thing only have WalkSnail Dave says somebody will buy those motors from you I can say those motors have been out of stock forever and so tons of people have been looking for him with I I I would not I mean you have
[00:59:43] all the parts so on one hand maybe just do the build and see if if if you like it not everybody is as power hungry as I am so you might be totally fine with it I was not that I don't like those Motors on a setup with an external
[00:59:43] VTX so take that with a grain of salt another air 65 Champion battery we'll stay down here and spare aelia this time woothis thing flies so good it's a real shame that they only made a thousand of these although the runtime does suck oh my
[00:59:43] God look at this Jank ass dive Tower from opening the door that's my bad look at that throwthese are not 30,000 KV Motors the I these are at least like 34,000 maybe even 36 they are not 30,000
[00:59:43] c motors ah oh stop it thank youyour boy's on fire tonight oh we got it I don't know if it went through or not that's what she said that went through oo oo easy easy big
[00:59:43] fella go for it oh God don't kill me uhoh oh God I got to get out of there before you see something you're not supposed to see oh actually these might be out already I got to do something with those I got to do a stream with
[00:59:43] those okay here we go woo oh my God what was that hey heyy hey oh boy oh boy oh I forgot that was there that is my bad going for we're going to go for the full desk power loop again here we go hardest move in the basement oh God don't I fell in there
[00:59:43] again come on we can get we can do this oh God that was the worst attempt yet here we go God damn it keep catching on the LED lights on the main lights on the key lights try it again damn getting rejected left and
[00:59:43] right College all over again there it is oh in your face you dirty rat bastards I don't know who I'm yelling at but it felt good oh I hit the couch at Full Throttle it's the perfect thing to hit's full throttle 3.5 at a hover that's where I like to come in 2 minutes and 40 not that bad on that battery not bad last battery of
[00:59:43] the live stream my friends it's going to be an Ultimate Freestyle tiny whoop with tiny whoop.com 0702 36,000 KV batteries thank you for hanging out I'll see you guys on whoop Wednesday I've got no oh right low power until first arm here we go oh
[00:59:43] nope oh God a weird crash I was Teddy up the stairs oh get you some of this o wow that is three times I've crashed in that boxthis rig might have a little bit less power 36,000 KV HappyModel 72s might have a little bit less power than 30,000 KV BetaFPV Champion Edition 72s that's
[00:59:43] ridiculous these have great power though don't get me wrong like these 36,000 KV Motors might be my favorites come on now I was just loving that moment right there there that little rotation backing it out under the table get you some of
[00:59:43] that ah I did it again it's hard because I got to judge the distance from the oh there it goes that last one did it you got to judge the distance just right oh what if I Matty flipped down back through the the coffee table can you imagine I would demand a some sort of an award if I done that an award for
[00:59:43] luckiest person on Earth ah no no no yes no you little jerk ah all right I'm trying to get really nasty with it I love playing with this coffee table but it is so low to the ground like this is such a low
[00:59:43] coffee table it's cuz of these little rails are on the outside they they get me every time hi teddy spaghetti what are you doing do you have a 14-year-old child in toe or is it just you buddy oh that was a good one he was I wish I'd centered him in the frame but that was a good little teddy Chase come and
[00:59:43] get it get you some small dog get it get it get it get it keep chasing it you lazy bum same exact runtime and I actually ran the battery down a little bit farther something might be going on with these motors feel like I've said that before I don't know I beat these rigs to Absolute death the the Champion Edition rig has not received nearly enough
[00:59:43] beatings yet so I'm going to I'm going to withhold I'm going to withhold judgment until it's been beaten up a little bit more but I should give this I should give this Ultimate Freestyle tiny whoop a little bit of a health check it's been through a lot quick health check that you can do
[00:59:43] absolutely anywhere and everywhere plug in a battery well only with small rigs with the propellers on go to Turtle mode and just listen to the pitch of each motor spin spin the motors up individually Full
[00:59:43] Throttle this this motor is spinning up higher hear that difference that's what you're looking for you're looking for one motor that's drastically lower this ain't too bad it's there there's like one motor that's higher than the other three what you don't want is one motor that's lower
[00:59:43] because that will drag the performance down of all the other ones oh the other test you can do is to spin them up slowly and feel for vibrations just real gentle on the stick this one's not great
[00:59:43] but there okay they're not bad so this is somewhat healthy I I could I could pull it into BetaFlight and start looking at filters and stuff and look at the pids and but that's the majority of the testing that you want to do to see if they're healthy cool thanks for hanging friends
[00:59:43] I'm going to watch another episode of um Arcane with aelia be good check in on your friends please okay oh this the the camera survived the entire live stream and now it dies and now it dies right at the very end Dave gun says I'll report back
[00:59:43] how it goes and then Andrew Taylor says soldering iron shuts down by itself I once left my Carling on my driveway for over an hour because I got distracted while leaving the house holy my my soldering iron drops its temperature all the way down to like 300
[00:59:43] degrees which is really nice I wish it turned itself all the way off hang on coming back there it goes all right thanks for hanging friends I'll see you on Wednesday check in with your people okay be good
[00:59:43] here's some more flying from the 102 rig I think pretty sure this is the 102 rig it's a 10 two rig by byebye
